DIY EPIC Mad Hatter Costume 2022 {UPDATED} - Maddie Ryles

I'm about to show you how to make the, most epic Mad Hatter costume that Wows, the rest of these expensive Amazon, costumes out of the water and for about,as cheap as you can make it so grab your,DIY shoes and let's go,now there's a lot of pieces to this, costume and we aren't skimping out on,any of them first things first the, iconic Mad Hatter top hat so we're,starting with an oatmeal container to,use as the base and some cardboard trace, the lid of the oatmeal container and a,larger plate on your cardboard and cut,out both circles this is going to make, the brim for the top hat next Trace that, larger plate on another piece of,cardboard and cut that one out as well, and then you're going to want to glue, that piece to the bottom of your oatmeal, container this is going to make the top, part of the top hat and I'm just, reinforcing it with some more hot glue, next take the fabric you're going to use,for the Hat I found this table runner, from the thrift store and I love the, pattern of it however you're going to,need about at least a four foot by four, foot square and this wasn't big enough,so because this fabric was made with two, layers I was able to cut the layers and, separate them and I also ended up,cutting it down the middle and then, gluing the two sides together so that, the square was even larger if you're,able to find a tablecloth or bed sheet, you can skip this entire step then I,glued the cardboard to the center of,that fabric then flip the cardboard back, around and start gluing the fabric to,the oatmeal container the fabric section, should overlap and create some layers, like this you're going to want to tuck, the fabric into the center of the hat,and I ended up wanting my hat a little, bit shorter than the length of the, oatmeal container so I folded down the, oatmeal container around the brim of the,Hat now with whatever fabric you have, left we're going to cover the brim of,the hat with that now trace your other, piece of cardboard on the fabric but add,an extra three inches to the perimeter, and then go ahead and cut that out then,we're going to glue that to the, cardboard and create slits on the inner, side of the circle so that we can glue, the inner side by folding up each piece, individually then we're also going to,glue down the outer side and it should, overlap again just make sure to glue, down all the different layers, now finally we're going to take the brim,of the hat and glue it to the other part, that we made if I were to do this again,I would make this circle for the inside,of the brim of the Hat a lot smaller so,that I can glue it down a lot easier to,the top part of the Hat however I just, reinforced it with some extra glue and,it worked out just fine I found this, cool scarf at a thrift store and I'm,going to use that to tie around the Hat,I first folded it and glued it down to,the width that I wanted and then just, tied it on the hat now the Mad Hatter, seems like a collectible kind of guy and,he has some random things sticking out, from the hat first I found these fake, plants from the dollar store and I,thought they would look really good then,I also found this bag of feathers also, for a dollar and decided to glue them, together to make one giant feather I,started with gluing a piece of fabric to,a skewer and then gluing down all the, feathers and the color and the order, that I wanted them and I added some, finishing touches with a silver paint, pen and I thought it turned out pretty, cool also using that silver paint pen I,decided to color three of the skewers, and then stick some sparkly foam balls,on the end of them I made this cool, spiral twisty design with wire and stuck, the ball inside that for one of the, skewers and another one I added a bunch,of just random gems to it but honestly I,would just look around your house and,see what kind of random cool things you,can find and see if you can stick them,on a stick then on an index card I wrote,10 over 6 because that's what he also, has on his hat if you know what that, means let me know I'm curious and I made, the edges of it a little bit wavy after, that it's just a matter of arranging and, rearranging all the stuff on the hat, until you get it where you like it and, then glue it all down, then describe yourself a headband and, glue it to the inside of the Hat I'd,recommend using a stronger glue like,E6000 and reinforcing it with some extra, fabric now I thought about buying a wig,but my hair was fading so I decided to,just dye my hair orange instead I just, did it when my hair was dry sectioned it,off and just applied a lot of the, product and left it on for like three, hours and I'm actually so excited with, the way it turned out okay I'm not gonna, lie this hat was a little time consuming, but it turned out so cool, now that the most complex DIY is out of,the way we can move on quick, bus far it would be awesome if you click, that like button and if you think you, want to see more videos from me it would,be really cool if you subscribed okay, back to the video the bow tie is one of,the easiest DIYs it makes a huge, statement start by taking a plain black,or blue colored tie I got mine at the, thrift store and then some white acrylic, paint and all you got to do is create a,bunch of blobs and dots all over the tie, with your white paint and the best part,is there is no way to mess up then go,ahead and let that dry and you're going,to go back in with bright colors and, apply bright colored paint on top of the, white make sure to get all the primary, colors in there red yellow and blue and, then fill in with some orange and green,if you want to and feel free to be as,messy with this as you want you can, leave some white space you can go over, the lines it doesn't have to be perfect, and it shouldn't be then take some black, paint and create some smaller blobs on,top of the blobs that you already, created now we're going to set this, aside and let it dry once it's dry we're,going to create the shape of the bow to,do that we're going to start by taking, the fat end of the tie and fold it over,so it creates a bow like shape then, create two more folds just below it kind,of like creating a second bow but it now, should be with the skinny part of the,tie and make sure to leave a good amount,of the tie left over because we need, that for the strap around the neck and, also the middle part of the bow so go,ahead and cut that part off and then, glue down the fat bow and then the, little skinny bow right below it next,we're going to cinch the middle and, create the bow shape that you want you,can hot glue it and also tie a string, around for extra security if you want, then measure the part that you want to,wrap around the middle of the bow and,cut that off from your leftover tie but, don't glue it on just yet we're going to,make the part that goes around your neck, now I folded and glued the raw edge of,the tie so that it has a bit of a,smoother look and then I added pieces of,velcro and a line towards the end of the,tie make sure the velcro is on the, finished part of the tie that you want,to be on the outside then I'm sticking, the opposite side of the velcro on top,Sticky Side Up and folding the other, side of the tie on top so that it will, match perfectly next we're going to,attach that to the bow tie using the, center piece that we didn't glue for the,bow using that Center strap you're just, going to want to wrap it around both the,bow and the neck collar and then glue it,down I just love how vibrant all the, colors came out and I think this tie, really helps tie this whole look, together now if you thought that bow was, easy this next DIY is even easier we are, going in with the DIY lace detailed,Blazer and I found this awesome maroon, blazer from the thrift store however I,had a hard time finding things that I,liked with lace but what I did find were, these lace kind of looking doilies I,also had some lace fabric laying around,so I'm starting by covering the sleeves, and turning them inside out so that we,can glue on the underside of each sleeve, then I'm taking my lace Fabric and I'm,just gluing it down around the sleeve, and folding back a layer about every, couple inches or so then I'm just gluing, the two raw edges together now with the, doily I'm actually going to be folding,it and cutting a circle in the center, the circle should ideally be the exact, size of your sleeve if it's a little, smaller or bigger that's going to be,just fine and then I'm going around and, gluing that just on top of the lace that,I already put there and because the, doily is a little bit longer you should,be able to see both layers and then I'm,just repeating this same exact thing on,the other sleeve the best part of this,DIY is you can get really creative with, where you find the lace whether it's,doilies old Fabric or from a dress, you've outgrown it really adds this, extra element to your costume now we can, check that one as completed the next, thing is my favorite edition it's a,spools of thread Sash and it's really, easy to do and completes the look and I,think the best way possible I got four,of these sewing travel packs with 24,spools of thread each and each one was, only two dollars the only other thing, you'll need is some twine start by,cutting about an arm's length piece of,your twine and then start threading your, spools of thread on the twine in a,random order then move the first spool,of thread to the very center of the arms, length piece of twine then fold over the, second spool of thread so that they're,laying next to each other then using the, opposite side of the twine go ahead and, thread in the opposite direction through, the middle of the second spool of thread, then pull each side tight and that is,the first step for your chain now fold, over the third spool of thread and, you're gonna thread through the center,of that one and to the other side you'll,know you're doing it right if there is a,piece of twine coming from both sides of,each spool of thread once you're done, with it but that's basically it you're,going to continue this process for as,long as you want your sash to be I ended,up using about three and a half of these, packs and it ended up being perfect if,you run out of twine you might have to,just tie on some more and then continue, the process once you get to the end just, cross both pieces of twine and tie them, into a knot Now to create the tie I'm,taking three more pieces of twine, exactly the same length and I made it,about three feet or so thread those, three pieces of twine through the last, spool of thread and then tie them in a,knot together then I'm just braiding the, twine all the way down by grouping them,in sections of two then tie a knot on,the end and do the same exact thing on,the other side this is by far my,favorite accessory of the entire look, and it just blows my mind at how cheap,it was to make now for this last DIY,it's going to take you probably about 30,seconds and right after I'll show you,the rest of the costume and accessories, that I pieced together, for these Mad Hatter gloves all you got,to do is find a random pair of socks, either that you have laying around or go,get them from the dollar store if the, socks are long enough cut off the ankle, part of the socks if they're not then, just cut out the middle part of the sock,so cut off the toes and the heel then, lay them flat and cut out a tiny hole on,one of the sides and that's it your, fingerless gloves maybe a little, anticlimactic but check out how cool, they look with the lace Fringe, now for the styling the rest of the, clothes and the accessories I found this, corset on Amazon, and I also found this skirt on Amazon, but if you spend a little time at a,thrift store I'm sure you could find, stuff that's just as good these scarves,I got for a dollar I used to stuff in my,pockets, this necklace is from a yard sale, believe it or not I got these really big, hoops from Forever 21. these are rings,I've collected over time I've made or,got from Forever 21. These Boots Were a,two dollar thrift store find and I was,so excited about them and the Pinstripe, tights are also from forever 21. and if,you want to opt for a more feminine, version of the costume you could scrap, the jacket all together because we have,so many well-known Mad Hatter, accessories it's still very noticeably, the Mad Hatter with the jacket or,without,as you probably noticed the majority of,this costume came from the thrift store,so here's a quick tip if you have time,to go and search for stuff at the thrift, store you're gonna find things for a lot, cheaper and probably a lot cooler things, and if you're the ultimate bargain, shopper I would recommend going to local, thrift stores rather than chain thrift, stores like Goodwill because you'll find, things for a lot cheaper and often even, better,if you're curious where I found my,clothing and accessories I'll have them, all Linked In the description below and, there you have it the most epic DIY Mad,Hatter costume and if you happen to,recreate this costume I would love to,see it so feel free to send me pictures, and videos on my Instagram if you're,going down on Alice in Wonderland a,rabbit hole I have some really cool,Alice Wonderland makeup looks that you,can find right here and if you want, another really cool Halloween costume I,have a DIY Lava Girl costume that you,can find right here if you want to see, what other epic videos I have in store, then feel free to subscribe and I'll see,you on my next videos, what is he doing, bye

Mad Hatter Costume, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Threadbanger

where is that Alice I was late another, early Late Late Late I specifically told, him to be on time here yeah,Adam Alice Cooper am i late, that's not the Alice you meant oh there, goes Wonderland,Alice you're terribly late you know, naughty intermediate the Mad Hatter is,one of my favorite literary characters,of all time combine him with Colleen,Atwoods amazing design aesthetics and,the most requested Halloween costume, this year is born,Colleen's Hatter has a ton of little, details that make it great but the Hat,is probably the most important part, start out by using a piece of poster, board that's 10 inches tall and when, rolled into a cylinder fits around your, head with room to wear a wig tape the, scenes of the cylinder down then take, out a thicker piece of cardboard and, make a circle on it that has a six inch, radius cut out the circle and place the, cylinder on top of it directly in the, center tape it together in a couple, spots and use a glue gun to glue the two, pieces together all around the scene, now take out a piece of thick material, and hot glue it all the way around the,top of the Hat when you reach the, beginning of where you started gluing, overlap the fabric a bit and glue it,together, next stretch the fabric down into the, inside of the cylinder and glue stretch, and glue stretch and glue pulling it as,taut as you can,cut a circle out of the fabric that's,the same size as the top and glue it on,cut off any excess I also added a layer,of old lace curtain in the same manner, but that's optional now use another, piece of material and trace around the, bottom of the cylinder with tailors, chalk cut the middle out of that circle, and cut slits up to the circle outline, then take out a piece of thick wire and, make a circle that has a radius that is,about three inches bigger than the, circle outline tape the ends of the wire, together cut a rough circle shape around, your circle outline big enough to extend, over the wire circle place the piece on,top of the bottom of the cylinder and,hot glue the slits to the inside now lay, that part over the wire circle and pin,the fabric over the wire stretching it,super taut,so completely around the brim and cut,off any excess material from the bottom, next I spray painted the entire hat with, different colors dark green black and, metallic gold while Corinne sprayed the,Hat I made a band to go around it out of,an old salmon colored button-down after,I made the ever so important signature, size card with burnt edges then I,spray-painted a white wig bright orange, for the Hatter's crazy hairdo, after the hat was all dry I added the, salmon ban some ostrich feathers the, size card and some mock vintage hat pins, and you have the Mad Hatter top hat when,we return we'll show you how to make the, rest of the outfit on $99 music videos,we challenge filmmakers to create, original music videos for hot new bands,on a budget of no more than $99 every,Tuesday and Thursday at $99 music videos, calm have a home decor dilemma will help,us solve it under cor it yourself new, every Wednesday right here on thread,Bangor welcome back to complete the Mad,Hatter ensemble you need an overcoat, pinstripe pants, fingerless gloves the signature bow, scarf an arsenal of thread a vest and a,collared button down for the overcoat I,dyed an old Tam corduroy blazer green, then sewed some lace to the lapel for, added texture, next I use different colors of tulip, fabric spray to create a multicolored, effect then I sewed lace to the cuffs, and add a trim around the edges for the, pants we used old khakis also dyed, greens and tape thin masking tape and, vertical lines on both sides of the, pants then I took over and spray painted, them with purple paint let them dry and, remove the tape and just like that, pinstripe pants next up I created the, fingerless gloves simply by tracing, around my hand and pinning both of the,two layers of fabric together then cut, them out so them together and you got, some fingerless gloves for the Hatters, signature scarf,I used a wide strip of an old sheet and, tulip one-step black dye to create a,blotching effect then I used pink and, yellow fabric spray to fill in most of,the white spots,to create the arsenal of thread gather, about 15 spools of thread remove the, labels from each side and use a long, piece of yarn to weave them together, like so,tie a knot at the end and add another, piece of yarn at the other end then take, out an old leather belt cut it in half, and drill holes in both sides of the cut, ends use a big needle to sew the ends of,the yarn through the holes and your, arsenal is complete now you just have to,put some white makeup on cut a couple, locks of hair from your wig for eyebrows,I attach them with eyelash glue and rock, your craziest expression enjoying the,day I see who's this it's to bite the, head off a bat once no no that was Ozzy, iie the rabbit on stage that's very rude,my father was eaten by a glam rocker

The Mad Hatter MakeUp Tutorial For Halloween | Fancy Dress | Shonagh Scott | ShowMe MakeUp

The Mad Hatter MakeUp Tutorial For Halloween | Fancy Dress | Shonagh Scott | ShowMe MakeUp

welcome back to my channel today's,tutorial is the Johnny Depp version of,the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, before we get into the makeup I'm going,to do a little bit behind the scenes for,you so I'm going to show you the costume, this was sent to me from a place called, buy costumes calm the link will be in,the description box also on the screen, now and as you can see is very authentic, this is the Disney version this is a,five piece outfit and the wig is,attached to the hair I gave it a bit of,a tease to give it more of the Mad,Hatter feel this company has a vast, repertoire of outfits so do check them, out on their website they've also got a,Facebook and Twitter site also check, those out my model today is Jack he also, modeled for me for my scary clown makeup, tutorial now we decided to put the, contact lenses in before the makeup, application Jack did struggle with this,a little bit it took him about an hour, but you got there in the end these ones, are from cameras calm and the colors, that we've used for this are the, werewolf green contact lenses and again,I'll put the link in the description bar,now let's get on with the makeup I'm,using the super color palette from,Kryolan this is the 24 color palette I'm,using the white shade out of this to,begin with and I'm going all over Jack's,face using this the super color cream, product is quite thick so I like to warm,it up on the back of my hand first and, work from there, and using the Real Techniques buffing, brush I'm working that in circular, motions over the entire face and down, the neck and over the years if you don't,have a cream product you can just use a,white face paint I've done a lot of,research into the actual makeup that was, applied to Johnny Depp and they also, used Kryolan that they used an air brush,to apply the white I do have the, airbrush and I'm going to be going over, the top of this with the airbrush but I,decided because of the lighting is quite, strong to go straight in with the cream, product first and that's going to give,me a bit base I am a bit of a,perfectionist and I always want things,to look as good as they can and I will, always try and use products from my kit,so that I can show you what I would, normally go for but where possible I,will also try to always offer you a,product that I know you can pick up,locally I've applied that cream product,to just the mobile eyelid as Johnny,Depp's eyes are quite light here and I'm,sitting that this matte white eyeshadow, from sugarpill cosmetics, now as I mentioned I want it to be as,authentic as possible I am going over, this base with the airbrush and this is,just going to give me a nice clean, finish the one I'm using is a matte, white by dinair and I'm working the gun,in circular motions to distribute the, product evenly the reason I've not put,the cream product up to the eyebrow bone,is because we're going to put eyeshadow, here anyway and I don't want the product,to crease in the eyelid I'm using a,speedy brush just to come for Jack's,brows remove any of the airbrush and, then I'm taking this matte orange eye, shadow from sugarpill cosmetics called, flame point I'm running that on an,angled brush through the brows this is,the same step that dip of Johnny Depp, and this is going to prevent any of the, natural hair showing through underneath, the crepe here moving on to eyeshadow,I'm using electric eel by Mac which is a,nice vibrant blue the Medhat makeup, changed in various shots throughout the, film and the colors differed slightly, but the main one I'm going for is blue,on one eye and purple on the other, sometimes the eye shadow didn't go all,the way across the eye and there was a,middle section left down the center this,is what I was originally going to do but, then I've decided to go with the, majority of the film and cover the, entire eyelid in the blue and the purple,on the outer Ridge I've taken the color, from the end of the lash line to the end,of the brow and I've taken that all the,way to the inner corner my research, shows they used cream liners in the, makeup I'm using this one called snow by,Kryolan and I'm taking that across the, mobile eyelid very close to the lash, line this is going to create a nice, white line upon looking at Johnny Depp's,makeup up close this isn't a very neat, line so this is ideal if you're not very, good at applying eyeliner I'm taking the, straight flat liner brush and I'm just, working that right into the lash line, and smudging it and not be an overly, neat for the opposite eye I'm taking, this matte purple color this is my,grimace but it doesn't have a number so,then I can explain is you don't go too, dark or too light something in between, the pesto and dark shade will be perfect, again take this up to the brow bone and,all the way down to the mobile eyelid, now remember we're going to be enhancing, the lashline with the white cream liner,so ideally don't take it as far down as,that then just take your buffing brush, and just go over the seams it's a good, idea just to stretch your skin when I,find that eyeliners you can get right in,and diminish any of the pink tones, because we don't want that, next taking some of the Purple's already, put on the eye I'm going to mix it with, this pink shade called dolly pop and, this is by sugarpill cosmetics we're,going to pull that color down from, underneath the lower lashes we don't,really go any further than the socket, bone of the eye which you can feel if,you use your finger then we're going to,take a small blending brush and we're,just going to buff away the bottom half,of that eye shadow too it blends to,nothing in the film sometimes Johnny,Depp is wearing a red shadow under one,and a pinky shade under the other but,it's not always that noticeable,so for these we're just going to use the, same color under both eyes and they've,already benefit to using a cream product,as a basis that eyeshadows blend over it,really easily so I'm just using a,concealer brush just to go over the, edges and make sure it's just blended, nice and evenly but again you don't need,to be too neat,if you do not on yourself look up and,get right underneath your lower lashes, and work that color right up towards, that inner corner of your eye and then, just go over the top of that with your, blending brush now I believe they, airbrush to the pink contour that was on,Johnny Depp's face for the Mad Hatter, makeup but as most of you won't have, access to an airbrush I've decided just,to use eye shadow for this so we've,taken the same pink and purple mix and,we place it a little bit of that on the, inner corner of the eye then taking a,clean fluffy blending brush we're going,to drag that pigment from the inner, corner down the bridge of the nose and, stopping where the base of the nostril,is the Mad Hatter makeup has tiny white, eyelashes underneath his eyes and, they're not neat so don't worry about, being neat I'm using a white liquid, liner to do this I'm placing the tip, underneath Jack's lower lashes and just, dragging it down into a point try not to,be too symmetrical with them they need,to be a bit sporadic let's start from, the outer corner and work your way two, thirds of the way underneath those lower, lashes on Johnny dip they applied a,white mascara I'm just taking the same, liquid liner and applying that to Jack's,top lashes just coat in the top and, underneath the Mad Hatter makeup also, includes the pinky purple color contour,at the sides of his forehead so we're,going to do this in a C shape so I'm,working up and down backwards and, forwards creating a nice gradient using, the same colors we used earlier, underneath the lower lashes this same, color is also in place down the, cheekbones on the matter,we're placing this in a slight diagonal, line from the middle of Jack's ear going, down toward his mouth and then we're,using our concealer brush just to blend, this in and soften it so it looks more, like a shadow but obviously a pink one,if you've used white face paint is your, base that's not problem you can work the, same pink eyeshadow over the top and, then just work in circular motions with,a blending brush and you'll get a nice, soft gradient on the lips I'm using the, pink and purple from the super color, palette I'm going to mix these together, and this is going to match the contour,we've put in place which is the same as,the Mad Hatter makeup on Johnny Depp if,you can get any large visuals of the Mad,Hatter makeup you'll see up close that, the lips aren't perfect so don't worry, about being too neat with them but just, enhance the Cupid's bow a little bit,I bought the authentic Disney Mad Hatter, eyebrows but they were just too bushy so,I've cut them up and I'm using duo glue,to stick them to Jack's eyebrows I have, correct removers for duo glues just make, sure you do before you start sticking it,all in your hair, the Mad Hatter brow is very sprightly at,the front small wispy hairs and then it,swoops out any long gets off the side of,the face at the outer edge and I worked, all the way along the brow here, manipulating it as it was drying then to,just get rid of the glue and make them, blend in a little bit more of Jack's,eyebrows I used some of that orange, matte eyeshadow and work that in-between,the crepe here you can even take some of,the wig at the back and cut a little bit,of that off for your eyebrows or you can,buy a pre-glued Mad Hatter eyebrows but, again they can be a little bit on the, bushy side one of the things that, fascinates me about the Mad Hatter, makeup is Johnny Depp's bulbous eyes, that this is something they done in,post-production so for my skill of this, video I did the same thing I enlarged,Jack sighs - look bolder so they really, resembled the Johnny Depp mad hair and, makeup today can see I'm just finishing, off the eyebrows and I've got quite a,good shape going on here then I,completed the upper eyebrow I applied a,small amount of black tooth enamel down, the center of the teeth got Jack into, his costume and they look really come, together,I really hope you've enjoyed my Mad,Hatter makeup look for Halloween please, give it a thumbs up if you have if,you've THE MAD HATTER | HALLOWEEN MAKEUP TUTORIAL 2018 | Victoria Lyn

THE MAD HATTER | HALLOWEEN MAKEUP TUTORIAL 2018 | Victoria Lyn

hello everyone and welcome to my,beautiful Halloween,we're in Wonderland and going mad as a,hatter with this look this is my,rendition of the Mad Hatter from the,Alice and wonderland movie now let's,jump into the tutorial using the, washable glue stick I'm gonna glue back,my brows and set with the brightening, translucent powder with an orange cream, paint I'm gonna color correct my brows, only applying where the hairs are dark, now set that in place let it bake for a,few minutes and then dust away I'm using,a hydrating primer to prime my face and, also my chest for this look here I'm,airbrushing my foundation with a very, light foundation shade so I can have, pale white skin like the matte matter, using a translucent powder I'm gonna set,my brows to lock them in with the white, concealer I'm gonna highlight under my,eyes and then blend out using a damp,Beauty sponge, now lock everything in with the, brightening translucent powder this base, will give you the same pale skin as the,Mad Hatter in the Alice in Wonderland, movie using an orange body paint I'm,gonna draw in a fun brow shape very, pointy and winging upwards with the hot, pink blush I'm gonna start contouring my,face and I'm starting at my temples and, then hollowing out my cheeks extend the, contour straight to the mouth and don't,forget the jaw line with the raspberry, blush I'm gonna shade into the contour, for some more definition dipping into a,beautiful light blue eye shadow I'm,gonna blend onto my left lid and into, the inner corners of the eye I'm also, going to blend the shadow upwards into a,blown-out winged shape using a foiled,lime-green shadow I'm gonna first wet my,brush and then apply all over the lid,I'm now gonna place a foiled gold shadow,on the very center of my lid here I'm,filling in my waterline with a turquoise, blue eyeliner going into a deeper teal, blue shadow I'm gonna deepen up the eye, look on the inner and outer corners of,the eye, moving to our right eye I'm gonna blend,a bright purple onto the lid and in the, same manner I did with the balloon so,very blown out then applying an orange, eyeshadow on the lower lash line I'm,gonna blend and exaggerate that down the, nose with the foiled purple eyeshadow,I'm gonna place this color on the center,of my lid here I'm just lining my eyes, with a bright red lip liner that is safe,to use on the eyes now for my favorite, part highlight so I'm gonna be,highlighting my cheeks and also my eyes, using a white sparkly loose powder, highlight I'm gonna coat my lashes and, black mascara,I made these orange feather lashes but, they didn't suit the look so we're just, gonna skip right over the step because I,end up changing them at the end of the, tutorial, they were kind of cool though maybe I'll,use them for another look I'm gonna add, some green glittery false lashes the, lower lash line here I'm adding a few, random dots around my eyes using the, orange body paint we used for the brows, and now I'm gonna add in a few, rhinestones trickling down my left eye, using a magical metallic purple lipstick, fill in your lips and now I'm going in,with a metallic pink lipstick and I'm,only applying this on the center of my,lips for an ombre pink and purple lip, shade Lock everything in with a,long-lasting setting spray the Mad,Hatter's hair is everything so I'm just, popping on an orange wig and I'm gonna, tease it a little bit later for lashes,I'm gonna pop on some green feather, lashes that really open up my eyes, here I'm spritzing my face with the dewy, mist and I'm applying an iridescent, glitter to my cheeks and also my nose,I'm gonna pale out my body with a white, face powder which is much easier and, more comfortable than using a pain using,a sparkly loose powder highlight I'm,gonna highlight the center of my chest, and also my collarbones and lastly I'm,gonna add some dewy mist and iridescent, glitter to go on top using an alcohol, activated tooth palette I'm gonna give, myself a gap now pop on your Mad Hatter, hat and here I'm gonna tease my wig to,make it really big and wild and thanks, for extra help mom, this is the final Mad Hatter Halloween, tutorial I hope you love this look and, don't forget to like this video if you,did and subscribe for more videos thank, you all for tuning in to my booth simple,Halloween and I'll see you next time

Making My Mad Hatter Cosplay!

Making My Mad Hatter Cosplay!

hello friends and welcome to,this video so i am super super excited, for you all to watch this video,um this video is eclipse from when i was, making my mad hatter cosplay and i also, put in the clips from the day that i got, ready and took my mad hatter pictures,i'm so excited to finally be sharing, this cosplay with you all it was a long, time in the making,if you've been following along you might, have seen that i've been doing johnny, depp's characters or his main characters,as females so that's what i've been, doing and this is the last, one and i wanted to go out with the bang,i love this movie i love obviously tim, burton and johnny depp and i wanted this, cosplay to be perfect so i took my time, with it,because i wanted it to be spot on and,i'm really really happy with how it came, out,so i'm going ahead and doing this, voiceover so that way i can explain to,you all what i was doing in each of the, clips, when i was making the costume um because, that's what i used to do in my old, cosplay making video so i thought i'd,bring it back that way i could explain,to you all kind of in detail what was, going on in each of the clips but i,can't wait for you all to see this video, and i hope you will enjoy it,so first things first i did my sketch on,my ipad,i'm no artist but this is what i had, came up with originally i had a skirt in,mind and then i changed it to pants,so keep this sketch in mind when you see,the final product so the first thing i,worked on,was the coat part um so i,started with this fabric that was like, red and i used this purple fabric for,the lining,i actually had to get a whole lot less, than i would have liked to they didn't,have very much of this color and i,really wanted this color so,i just had to make it work so it was, just like tetris when i was cutting out,the pieces but that's what that looked, like, next was the pants i used this black, stretchy fabric that had these, silver lines on them because his pants, looked like they had like pinstripes on,them, and i really liked the idea of leggings,so that's what the pants looked like and, then for the sleeves i wanted like, bell sleeves but i wanted them to be,laced so i,ended up gathering some lace um there, you can see i'm,gathering it i'm pulling the thread and, then i just attached that to,the end of the sleeve and then the pants, this is a detail that i feel like nobody, noticed and you can't really see it in,the pictures that i took but hopefully, people will notice it if i ever wear, this to a con,i embroidered these swirls that were on,his pant leg, with this like ombre thread it took a,really long time but,i think it looks pretty cool and that's,what that looked like when that was, finished, and then here you can see my dad, pleading the skirt fabric, and then we attached that to the coat, part of the jacket, yes we whipped a lot of this up in the, first day because we're crazy like that,so this is what we had done on that, first day of working on this costume, the next detail that i added was this, really big pin that had all these, ribbons hanging off of it,and the next detail i added was the, bandolier that has all of the threads,so i bought these white spools of thread, and i painted around the edges to make, them black, and then uh here i'm showing you guys, how i wove them together,so i threaded the end of one really, really long piece of ribbon, through the hole of the spool and then i,did the same thing with the other side,of the ribbon, and then i pulled those tight and then, they were basically woven together, the next clip is me showing you guys the, same thing but from a different angle, and then here you can see that i added, the little pink handkerchief i sewed a,little pocket onto the coat, and then i changed the fabric to,something more flowy because i didn't,like how stiff the other one looked, then the day of the pictures i cut the,wig to make it shorter because it was a,longer wig,it was actually the same wig that i wore, for my merida cosplay when i first made,it so it was a long time ago it was in,2019,so i got another one of the same wig and, here i was trying to like style it,but then i was like no wait why did i do,that his hair is supposed to be messy,so i ended up brushing it out again and, trying to make it fluffy, and then i put the hat on it to see if i,needed to fix anything up but i ended up,brushing out what i had done, wait don't go please,i took these pictures in my garage so i,had this backdrop and oh there you can,see i get a little wrapped in it and, then i step on it,and then it comes off but anyway this is,what the setup was,and the next few clips are me doing my,makeup so i'll just let you guys enjoy, that,so,wait don't go please,so,hi friends okay so hopefully you guys, enjoyed those little clips of,like a little setup so i got a lot of,the teacups and stuff, some of them my mom had and some of them,i got at a thrift store the other day,um but i hope you guys enjoyed seeing, the process of putting together this, cosplay so this was, most likely the last like johnny depp, cosplay i'll be doing, see if i end up doing any other ones but,i wanted to do the main like five,so officially i have now done edward, scissorhands,i did jack sparrow i did willy wonka, sweeney todd and now the mad hatter so,now that i've done honeydev's characters,or his like main characters we're on to,elena bonam carter's character so keep,an eye out for the red queen,um emily from corpse bride um,all those fun characters so those are, come in the future though so i hope you, guys enjoyed watching this video and i,hope to see you guys in my next one bye, guys, you

Mad Hatter DIY Halloween Costume | Sarra Brio

Mad Hatter DIY Halloween Costume | Sarra Brio

well it finally happened this year I,dressed up as the Mad Hatter for,Halloween if you're interested in seeing, how I put my costume all together then, keep on watching starting things off, with the incomparable Mad Hatter hat and,the supplies I used to make it so the, foam of a yoga mat was the material I,used to create my hat and to hold it all, together,I used Krazy Glue as well as the hot, glue gun I used an exacto knife to get, those nice sharp cuts through the foam a,pen to trace out the pattern onto the, foam some scissors to cut out the paper, patterns and the cut to paper patterns, once you've traced out all the patterns,it'll look something like this the, pattern I followed to make this was, created by Chris from the YouTube, channel lost-wax if you're interested in,seeing a full in-depth tutorial on how,to make this hat and where to buy his, pattern I'll link his video in the, description box down below his, instructions are detailed super easy to,follow and so worth the buy because the, outcome is super impressive if I do say,so myself, once you start cutting out your patterns, make sure you have a cardboard like I,use here or something underneath the, foam acting as a barrier to save the, surface of whatever you're cutting on,because look at this damage and these, are the Hat pieces all cut laid out and,in the order they'll be glued once, you've glued them all together you get, this beautiful hat now I didn't stop, there IJ's mine up to make it a little, bit more Mad Hatter esque as you can see, here I finished off the Hat by adding, two coats of dark green acrylic paint, and tying in a light pink similar scarf,to his I made the little card on the, side of the Hat out of plain white, cardboard just drawn some numbers with a,black marker and then burnt the edges, out a bit using a lighter the little, golden stick was made by gluing a,crochet hook to the back of a golden, button and then I just added two long, beautiful brown feathers and that isn't,hat completed, now moving on to makeup I pull, inspiration from a few different places,to achieve this look but mainly from, photos I found on Google and of course,by putting my own spin on makeup, tutorials found here on YouTube the main, products use here are number one white, face paint or even a light shade, foundation if you can get away with that, which is actually what I did because I,have more of a medium to tend type skin, tone naturally but do whatever works, best number two is the NYX ultimate, brights eyeshadow palette I think that's,pretty self-explanatory had pretty much, every bright color you would need and I,used it for my eye makeup my cheek, contours and for my orange brows number, three for the lips I used a dark purple,e lipstick this one is by Lime Crime and,it's in the color poison berry and, number four pop on some false lashes and, green colored contacts to make a look, even more dramatic and voila makeup, completed lastly let's get into the, details of my outfit starting with my,thread sash I just took some shoelaces, and laced up a bunch of spools of thread, and tied it by my waist this accessory, pulls out all of the bright colors of,the outfit which is essential in making, the look more outlandish I also put a,scarf around my neck and made it into a,bow for the top of the outfit I wore a,striped dress shirt I also cut up a,green vest just keeping the front trim, and sewed it to my jacket using an,orange thread my pocket watch is made, with a clock bracelet charm and I glued,it in a locket and then I just attached, some braided wire to resemble a chain, and pinned it inside my pocket for the, shoes I just wore some Brown booties, that I paired with some black sheer, tights and brown knee-high socks for the, bottom I chose a black ruffled skirt to,put more of a feminine spin on the, outfit and then I just tucked in a pink, scarf on the one side and a purple one,on the other side to imitate the fabric,he carries in his jacket,I purchased my wonderful wig off of,Amazon I am so pleased with the quality, and color of this one again if I can, find it I'll link it down below all of,the clothing pieces I'm wearing in this, costume were purchased from the bow evil,so there you have it this is my,completed DIY Mad Hatter Halloween, costume thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in my next video

Alice and Mad Hatter DIY Costumes + Hair and Makeup!

Alice and Mad Hatter DIY Costumes + Hair and Makeup!

mr. rabbit, well, take me,hello guys okay so I'm first gonna start, out with my face makeup and I'm using a,NYX BB cream and putting that all over,my face and it's a little bit paler than,my natural skin tone because I want to,wash my face out like the Mad Hatter and, then I'm just going to use my Sonia,Kashuk concealer to cover up all the, redness and discoloration so I'm just, going to use that and apply that with a,concealing brush and then once I am done, with that I am going to highlight using,my age rewind concealer and I'm using, two shades of these concealers and the,one is to cover my under-eye circles and,it's the more tan one and the lighter, one is as a highlighter on my cheekbones, and my nose and then I'm just going to,use my concealer brush and just make, sure I blend all of that underneath my,eyes and on top of my cheekbones,so I'm now going to prime my eyes with,my Mac's painterly paint-pot,primer before I do this crazy eye makeup, and then I'm going to use my makeup, forever HD powder to wet out my face and,to set my foundation so I'm going to use,a fluffy brush for that and then I'm,going to use this mac aqua blue color, and putting that all over my lid because, the Mad Hatter has a solid blue, foundation for their eye makeup and then,I'm applying this hot pink color from my,outer crease and blending it toward my,inner eye and I'm just blending that all, together with the blue but at the same, time you want one end to be hot pink and,one to be blue,so now I'm going to use this orange, color from NYX and I'm going to use an,angled brush and sweep that underneath,my waterlines and then I am going to,blend that and the pink together with a,fluffy brush to make sure it all looks, whole and that is the eye shadow and now,we're going to move on to the lashes I'm,going to use a purple mascara for my top, lashes because the Mad Hatter has crazy, makeup and I thought what would be any, more better than a card mascara so then,I'm going to use a bright blue mascara, for my bottom lashes and then I'm going,to fill in my eyebrows with that same, orange eye shadow because the Mad Hatter, has orange thick eyebrows so I'm going,to do that and I thought that added that,Mad Hatter feel to the makeup look and, then I'm just going to put my gel for my,eyebrows in my eye so that way my,eyebrows stay one shape all night and, then I'm going to finish off the look, with this super bright blush because the,Mad Hatter is pale with crazy eye makeup, and crazy blush and then I'm just going,to put on this bright hot pink lipstick, and then that will basically finish the, entire look and this is my mad hatter, crazy amazingly awesome makeup,so I'm first going to start by cutting, three by twelve card stock and I'm going,to cut that out with my handy nifty, scissor tool knife thing which is,awesome and then I'm just going to roll,it into this little roll thing like that, and use some masking tape just to keep, that in shape and then I'm going to take,a candle which is slightly bigger than, that circle I made and go over another, circle on some card stock and cut that, out as the top of my little Mad Hatter, hat and then I'm just going to use a,glue gun and go on the edges and also, apply some glue onto that circle that we,just cut out and make sure that those, are stuck together and press that onto, your other circle so that way it doesn't,move anywhere and then I'm just going to,go along the outer edges with the glue, gun to make sure it's all secure and in,place and doesn't move around so now I'm,going to use my glue gun and put the, glue on the edges of the circle that we,cut out and roll it on to this green, fabric I got because I decided to have a,green Mad Hatter hat you can use any, fabric you want but I thought the green, was very Mad Hatter and you're just, going to roll it around into that fabric, and it's okay there's a lot of extra, fabric because you can just cut it off,and I'm going to make sure I glue that, shut and cut off all the excess fabric, and tuck in the excess fabric into the, hole of my hat and now I'm going to use,the same candle to trace out another, circle and I'm going to glue that on top,of the area that didn't get covered by,the fabric now I will be gluing some, bias tape onto the top part of my hat,and this makes it look more neater and,the edges look more put together and,it's a good finish for any edge or top, part of anything on this hat,so then I will bend some wire in the, shape of a circle a little bit bigger, than the top part of my hat that I made, and then I'm just simply going to use, masking tape to hold the wire in the, circle shape that I shaped it to be and, then once I'm done doing that I'm going,to use some hot glue to stick the same, green fabric I used before but onto this, bottom part and I'm just going to keep, putting the glue around the wire and cut, excess fabric and just keep gluing and, sticking the fabric onto the circle and,I'm just going to keep doing that and, doing the same thing over and over until, the fabric covers the entire circle on,one side and then I'm just going to cut,off excess fabric but then you'll see,one side looks good on one side looks, super scrappy so I'm just going to cut, with excess fabric another circle to,place on to the part that on to the side, that doesn't look as good as the other, side so I'm just going to put that, fabric there and then I'm going to do,what I did on the hat and use bias tape, and glue that onto the edges of this, bottom part of the Hat because it just, finishes it off and makes it look neater, than it would if I didn't use it so then,I'm going to add this thick blue ribbon,to the middle part of the Hat and I'm,going to cut that off and glue it with a,hot glue gun and then I'm just going to,hot glue the Hat I made to this simple, black headband which I got from a,Halloween store and that is how you make, the Hat guys, now Alice doesn't have the tightest of,curls so I did do some tight curls onto,my hair extensions and my natural hair, and I did not hairspray them so that, they would fall into like a voluminous,Larry kind of blowout look so I,definitely suggest to not spray them but, they look good for now but they will, look just like Alice later and I'm going,to pin my bangs to the side of my ear so,that when I put in my cute bow headband,my hairs will stay place right behind my,ear and I'm just hair spraying them for, just extra support and that is the hair, and now I'm going to show you how to do,this cute apron and it's very simple and, easy I just bought some black ribbon, from Hobby Lobby and I'm just cutting, that and placing that into a cute little, bow and cutting off the ends and gluing, that into the center and the top of the, apron and to create a cute little fun, little girl look I am just going to add, some buttons I also purchased at Hobby,Lobby I'm just lining up four of them, down and I'm taking some black lace I,also purchased a Hobby Lobby and I am,just gluing those to the pockets to add,a little bit of an ALICE Flair so I'm,going to tell you guys where I got my,Mad Hatter outfit from and I got my,scarf from Amazon my orange jacket from,Blair calm my two skirts I am wearing, two skirts I have the green one from,Target the blue underneath from a,costume store my tights from a costume, store and yeah that's where I got my,costume, this Alice costume is very easy to,recreate just use a blue dress a light, blue dress that you own because the, front isn't going to matter you're just, gonna place an apron on top of it,anyways and I'm using the apron that I,also got from Amazon along with my light, blue dress and I am using white, stockings from the Halloween store and, these costume black mary-jane looking, shoes and the headband is from Amazon, righty guys that was our Alice in,Wonderland and Mad Hatter look video, also comment below any more videos you'd,like to see us do and give this video a,big thumbs up if you really liked it and, want more videos from this fall series, see you guys,Oh
