made,this dress a little bit ago and switched,out the brown bow I had on it for this,pink one to Maria fire it I added these,cute tights and boots and then a ribbon,on my neck because I felt like it kind,of look like a collar and I put this,little gold pin that I had from the,antique store on it I think it also,looks so cute with the red heart,necklace and my pearl ring,I'm the queen of lazy DIYs so even if,you don't have cat ears you can,literally just cut some paper into,triangles punch a hole through it with,bobby pins to attach to your hair then I,use this headband to kind of secure it,in place a little more and also hide the,bobby pins it really doesn't need to be,perfect,and now the scariest costume of them all,are childhood trauma just kidding,although ballet is both my childhood,trauma and also something I love and,think is so beautiful I feel like you,could really go either way with this all,you need is a leotard or like a pink top,or some tights and any sort of ballet,flats I've recently found my point shoes,from when I was younger from what I used,to do points I didn't just buy them for,this video don't get your bun heads in a,bunch I'm not gonna try and go up on,them either I know I'm not strong enough,anymore but I felt like they were really,pretty just for the video although if I,was actually wearing this costume out I,probably would wear just normal ballet,flats because they're a lot more,comfortable,and here is the Queen of Hearts from,Alice in Wonderland honestly I really,don't think that you need the exact,parts to a costume if you have some,black and red you can literally just put,them together in cool ways and find like,a bunch of heart things if you have,heart necklaces like the one I have from,Anna Louisa or I have this heart pin,that I put on this like scrap that I,made into a choker and I think it looks,amazing I feel like I definitely if I,was actually gonna wear this out would,definitely try and find a crown to wear,with it,um you could probably find one at the,thrift store honestly but honestly I,feel like this look still gets pulled,off without one things are working out,according to my ultimate design,I have that little mermaid and the ocean,I feel ahead of the times this year,because I've actually included this idea,before but this year I feel like I've,been seeing a lot of it on Tick Tock I,want to tip my own horn but I really,feel like I did that anyway this is,Vanessa the lady Ursula disguises,herself as in The Little Mermaid and,literally all you need is a white dress,and a shawl necklace which I feel like,you could even potentially make long,hair is a plus it isn't necessary if you,don't have a wig or you don't already,have long hair I still feel like you,could totally pull this look off I just,feel like this was so fun and a very,like kind of Niche and creative one like,not as expected as like Ariel or Ursula,which are also two amazing costumes you,could do this one is very last minute,for me and is definitely not the exact,replica of her outfit but I was inspired,by my I feel like it's an example of how,even if you don't have the exact,clothing items if you have something,that's the same color I really think you,can make it work especially if you add,little details that make the character,clearer like where here I added,Sabrina's black headband by the way,Sabrina the Teenage Witch I was so proud,of The Styling on this one I feel like,you can really just use things that you,have around the house to make a super,detailed and cool costume Zoom I had,this white slip dress and I used my Anna,Louisa necklace as a crown headpiece and,I used the scarf I had and pinned it up,with a pin I feel like scarves are such,an easy way to just play around with,texture and more colors to an outfit um,and I pinned it up with a pen which if,you can't already tell is also a really,good way that you can make use of the,clothes that you have and mix them up I,always like to stock up on them at the,antique store because you just never,know when they'll come in handy,originally this was Aphrodite although,somebody on Tick Tock told me that she,gets mad if you impersonate her,so I think I'm now deciding that it's,actually a cell key but you can do what,you will I randomly had this amazing,vintage dress that is just perfect for,Dorothy but really I feel like any dress,any blue dress will work for her blue,dress honestly could work as so many,characters in Disney could work for,Cinderella Alice in Wonderland Wendy,from Peter Pan and of course Dorothy,especially if you put your hair in,little braids I think the ribbon really,adds character and I miraculously had,some red shoes that I got at the Vintage,store last year that I think are just,perfect but again even if you don't have,the exact silhouette of Dorothy's dress,I think that that can actually lead for,more creativity depending on pieces of,clothing you have in your closet already,that are that color I think can really,just make it fun even if it's pants like,honestly if you had like a gingham blue,set I think that could be I mix it up,and be a little bit unexpected alright,one of my favorite ideas is to dress,like your childhood fashion icons if,they were grown up today because I don't,know I always feel a little weird,dressing up like a little kid but it,also leaves room for your own creativity,and Imagination of what the character,would wear now like in their 20s and it,leaves room for you to not have the,exact outfit that they wore in their,childhood books so this is Fancy Nancy,who I know would be obsessed with the,silky dresses and just would love super,pink and pretty accessories next up I,have Madeline who really as long as you,have similar color scheme I think you're,good every time I put on this dress I,feel like her so I definitely thought,that she'd love it in her 20s this,vintage Blue Jacket also just gives me,total Madeline Vibes especially pair,with the red bucket hat this is also,just a cute outfit for every day so even,if you do last minute buy stuff for,Halloween for something like this like,you'll actually wear it after Halloween,too,next I have Eloise I actually made this,dress and I'm so obsessed with it I,think the black and white is just,screaming Eloise and honestly if you,have anything black and white in your,closet I think you could pull it off is,that Louise I just feel like dressing,like childhood storybook characters and,their grown-up years is just a creative,take on the childhood characters and,literally there's so many to choose from,um so yeah,goddess,please,send me a beautiful sweet man,to love me as I love him with an iconic,Halloween movie like The Love witch you,can really go through and look at all,her outfits in the movie and then just,see if you have anything remotely,similar in your own closet to remake,them obviously mine isn't exact but I,feel like with the long hair the black,outfit and red accents on the neck with,my ribbon and my Anna Louisa necklace it,really gets the point across if I was,actually wearing this out I would,definitely also put on blue eyeshadow I,think that makeup can really make or,break a look next up I have the white,swan and Black Swan Duo for the white,swan I had this tutu that definitely,does not fit me you can also look at my,last video for how to make your own tutu,if you don't have a tutu already in your,closet or can't find one I pinned on,this feather trim that I had in my,sewing box and also put on these puff,sleeves as an extra detail that I also,made in my last video do some feather,Trim in my hair as well to just kind of,make it crown and just had a lot of fun,pulling things together for this look if,you go to the thrift store Party City or,something just be on the lookout for,like feather boas because like a white,feather boa or black feather boa for the,Black Swan because I think you can,really just arrange them on the outfit,in different ways and it just like,brings the look to life if you don't,mind getting your pieces dirty you could,also put a fake like wound on your,stomach to represent the end of the,Black Swan movie,then we have the Black Swan who I had a,black leotard for and had also thrifted,this tutu at the bins I put on a ribbon,on my neck for an extra accent and love,how the red Anna Louisa necklace looks,with this oh my gosh I also happen to,have black feather trim that I placed,around my waist and in my hair and then,I just did some darker feathery makeup I,feel like you can really have fun with,this makeup look and that'll really just,take it to the next level,and honestly a good last minute one I,feel like it's just to find a celebrity,or icon like maybe somebody from the,golden Hollywood age that maybe you have,the same hair color as or could semi,pull off you can go look up pictures of,them and then just choose like any look,that they had to recreate with something,that maybe you have something similar in,your closet for example this was,supposed to be a recreation of this,picture of Elizabeth Taylor because I,realized I had a similar green colored,dress then I just carried around this,this white fuzzy shawl like she has in,the picture you could even just find,like a big piece of fabric for something,like that I feel like this is a good one,because like none of these women had,Just One Look you can really go through,a bunch of their looks and then just,find anything that maybe is similar to,something you already have and try and,recreate it other cool Golden Era women,to do would be Josephine Baker Marilyn,Monroe Audrey Hepburn Dorothy Dandridge,Anna Mae Wong and of course many others,all right and last but not least and,probably my favorite I have Betty Boop,who I bleach my eyebrows for,just kidding I just put concealer on,them look how cool this came out I feel,like if you have short hair or a short,wig I feel like this one is literally so,cute for anybody as long as you have a,red dress and then you can go ahead and,accessorize it how you feel after that,and just have a ton of fun with the,makeup and you're good to go,all right let's do a lightning round of,other characters specifically characters,from movies and TV shows because I feel,like a lot of them oftentimes don't have,just one look so you can go through a,bunch of their outfits and see if,there's anything in your own closet that,could possibly resemble one of their,looks Angela and Topanga from Boy Meets,World oh my gosh obviously the Friends,girls I think that if you are in a Duo I,feel like this moment from friends could,be kind of fun and Niche on something,I've never really seen done before and,would be just fun to say that that's who,you are and like recreate this picture I,don't think I've really seen anybody do,this look and please I literally need,someone to do this this is Debbie Allen,from Fame oh my gosh like our Queen our,icon and I feel like this outfit would,literally be so fun to recreate please,somebody do it obviously the girls from,Clueless Dion Cher or Ty Laura Jean I,feel like that's this would be so cute,especially if you carry it around like,some cupcakes or something that you you,bake oh my gosh any of the dot 70s girls,but this wouldn't be a ggmw video,without including Jackie from That 70s,Show okay Ashley Banks from the Fresh,Prince literally has so many iconic,looks literally just go through her,outfits if you look like her and try and,find something that you can recreate,okay this would be such a fun group idea,do the big mouth characters,um I think they're really easy outfits,that you probably already have in your,closet okay the craft oh my gosh the,costumes in this show are so cool,Gilmore Girls here's another group idea,is the Spice Girls as well as another,group idea with the Cheetah Girls Olivia,Rodrigo I feel like is a really fun and,easy one if you have a bunch of stickers,you can put on your face that's a great,last minute look of course we have Blair,Waldorf and I think it'd be really fun,to be Blair in her minions or Blair and,Serena but also oh my God I think Jenny,Humphrey is slept on I honestly wish I,had included this outfit because I think,getting a blonde wig already have blonde,hair just wearing a very Jenny inspire,dress and then just carrying around like,a measuring tape for like your sewing,projects would totally sell Jenny Little,Women we have Pearl from the movie the,horror movie I meant to actually film,this outfit but I literally ran out of,time Kiki's Delivery Service is one of,my favorites every Halloween another,character you could do as long as you,have like a slip dress or a long dress,is Carrie and then if you can go the,full way pour that faux blood on,yourself it'll be amazing squid games,girl you could be the trio from Mamma,Mia here's some other characters from,That's So Raven that you could be,including Not So Raven obviously but,there's just so many fun looks from this,show as well as this show Moesha oh my,God this look right here if someone has,similar pieces please recreate it the,girls from Saved by Hey, guys! So Halloween is coming up fast.,And if you're one of those lazy procrastinators that don't have,a Halloween costume yet, or at least an idea,,I made this video just for you!,And for myself because I also don't have a costume or an idea yet.,Or if you're anything like me and you just don't like dressing up--,I know, I know, party pooper.,(chuckling) Poop.,But I mean, come on, you would hate dressing up too,if you had to dress up as much as I did throughout the year.,(Flight of the Bumblebee),I just noticed that I did not do my hair.,Well, I already shot the beginning, so I'm not going to do it now.,See what I mean? first outfit here is just a double,costume so all you need is just a red,dress you can totally wear like a red,skirt or like a red tank top with this,as well if you don't have a red dress I,think I have the link to this dress so I,will link it down below I want to say,it's from Amazon so anything that I can,find I will definitely try to link it,down below for you guys but yeah so just,a red dress and then I've got this,literally believe it or not from the,dollar store so it had like these red,horns it also kind of like a little,necktie but I don't really think that's,necessary and then it has a tail too so,yeah super cute super easy look number,one,this is the pirate costume super simple,all you need is some form of a white,t-shirt if you don't have one little,puff sleeves you could totally just do,any one t-shirt and tie it off at the,bottom if you have like a white,button-down shirt,you could unbutton the button to tie it,at the bottom and then like pull it off,your shoulders super simple any kind of,white shirt will do this is literally,just like a red t-shirt that I took and,I put a hair tie on the back of it to,make it tight around my head and then I,paired it with like a black faux leather,skirt but if you don't have like a black,skirt you could probably do like maybe a,lot of shorts you can even do like black,skinny jeans and that could be a look as,well and then I just paired it with,knee-high boots but you could also pair,it with like a pair of black heels or a,pair of sneakers or something like that,as well,just make sure you add lots of jewels so,that everyone knows who you are if you,have like a nose ring that she do like a,hoop or if you have like a faux nose,ring that works too and then lots of,bracelets there you go super simple,super easy,okay so next we have Minnie Mouse again,super simple easy I literally have this,red skirt so just paired it with the,same white top that I used for the,pirate outfit but you totally again just,use any type of white shirt that you,might have a white t-shirt would be,great for this and the main thing that,you need for this are obviously the ears,and a little red bow I'm going to show,you guys right now how I made these,little,you,so this is cat costume you could do so,much with the black cat like you can,literally wear a black dress if you have,a black dress if you want to wear like a,black skirt and like a sexy black top,you could totally do that I just wanted,to do other pants because I had done,pants cat for you guys so here is the,black cat look with the black leather,pants and then this is just one of the,body suits that I paired it with and,then I went to Dollar Tree this was,literally a dollar and it came with like,the tail it came with the ears and also,came with a bowtie but I didn't like the,bowtie and then I just added a little,bit of facial makeup so the little nose,and some whiskers and there you go you,have a black cat costume I paired my,little just a pair of black heels and,there you go,costume is a schoolgirl or you can make,into nerd which I'll show you guys in a,second but yeah a plat skirt any plaid,skirt that you have and then I just,paired it with some white thigh high,socks and then like fuzzy heels and then,just a white button-down shirt but I,just tied and then I also picked up,these boxes from the Dollar Tree and I,just put a little piece of tape in the,middle and you can make it into a nerd a,costume as well if you want to it's like,a sexy nerd or like I said just leave a,schoolgirl classic Halloween costume,again super easy super affordable,we have sandy from Greece another super,simple costume these are just some faux,leather pants and then I put on a black,tank top and a black bomber jacket I,didn't have rent shoes but I just paired,it with a pair of black fuzzy heels put,on this for my lipstick and she also,wears a gold hoop with this and then,just any black belt she also wears so,another super simple outfit if you don't,have like a leather jacket you could,also do just like a long sleeve or just,like a tank top off the shoulder shirt,cuz that is kind of like what she wears,this low when she takes off the jacket,but yeah it's just another simple outfit

does that look like a nosebleed,i guess halloween is happening this year,hey you it's katie you and today i am,bringing you 10 last minute but not lame,somehow still decently original and,quirky and won't get you these oh my god,you're so basic looks costume ideas that,you can 100,guaranteed half ass from things you,already own or your money back the only,props that i had to go out and buy for,this y'all were food props,you'll see what i mean but actual,clothing pieces and accessories i had,100 of these in my closet already so if,you're running on a little bit of a time,crunch i got you just keep on watching,costume number one which is what i am,personally being marie condo,i've been wanting to be marie kondo for,two years so i'm very very excited that,i can make this and put it in a video,marie condo is known for her very clean,lines and her conservative silhouettes,and so i feel like if you channel any,skirt with a very clean cut simple top,stack on a couple boxes and heels you,got her vibe down really really well i,personally used inspiration from her,netflix show cover photo where she's,wearing an iconic yellow skirt and a,white top unfortunately i do not have a,yellow skirt so i decided to flip the,colors marie kondo also has very,straight black hair and she also has,bangs i thought my bangs would be short,enough that i could style them but no,bro,you better stop,listen don't do what i did go get clip,on bangs just go around to people asking,them all night does that beer spark joy,does that candy spark joy does it really,does it really spark joy,will you accept this rose,the next costume idea is also super,super simple it's the bachelorette all,you got to do is throw on the fanciest,dress you own and get a bouquet of roses,from your local grocery store okay all,my friends are absolutely obsessed with,the bachelorette and the bachelor series,i personally can never get into it,especially in the beginning where,they're going on group dates of like 10,people at that point that's just,networking that's just literally like a,company dinner,not interested in that i usually hold,off until there's only three left and,she's deeply deeply in love with all of,them and that's where the steamy drama,comes in i'm telling you right now i'm,not going anywhere,until i,get a chance to share with you,so that's when i start tuning in,can you guess what leggings and a crop top and a cup,of coffee this is the uniform for,countless american teens across the,country so you don't even have to try,that hard i feel like what really needs,to sell it though this,may be my favorite look,i'm boba,i can't stop smiling my cheekbones are,literally frozen if you were prepared,unlike me you would have secured a,headband to glue this to so you don't,have to hold it here just imagine that,this is just magically,balancing on my head like this,literally the only ingredients you need,for this boba tea is a white dress of,some sort because i feel like that,provides the most amount of contrast,with the tapioca pearls the boba and a,toilet paper roll that you can coat in,whatever color if you're actually,planning to go out and dance in this i,would recommend that you use safety pins,for the pom-poms i just used tape and,i'm not sure if that was the best idea,but it aesthetically gets the job done,tapioca pearls right so pearl earrings,pearl bracelet,there's symbolism okay for the next,costume we are using the same white,dress so unfortunately the first step is,going to be to remove all the boba,so sad the next outfit is 11 from,stranger things so we threw on the,highest top socks i own hers go higher,so if you can go higher go higher and,white sneakers she sports a navy type,jacket over her super baby doll pinkish,dress 11 has this pantone,paint square everybody knows those,pantone paint squares that are super,super aesthetic i used to collect them,as bookmarks every time i went to like a,home depot we are honoring those paint,squares today by by dressing up as one,you honestly just need a fully,monochromatic outfit where all the tones,match pretty well and then diy or print,the pantone logo and if you are going,trick-or-treating honey,i can't prepare even my bag is a,matching blue and now that i think of it,this could be a really good group,costume because it's so easy to,coordinate you guys don't even need to,buy anything match whatever's in your,closet to whatever's in your closet big,brain am i right ladies and gentlemen,this is probably the most basic outfit,of them all but i feel like it's just so,quintessential and simple and so many of,us have the ingredients that i gotta,include it in case you forgot about the,cultural icon that is tinkerbell and for,once my puffy microphone actually
