Make Your Own Harley Quinn Costume - DIY Costume Squad

Dustin McLean Claire max and Benjamin,Martin experts in the world of cosplay,and DIY masters of duct tape cardboard,and hot glue together they are the DIY,costume squad hey guys it's Claire,welcome back to another exciting episode,of DIY costume squad today we are going,to tackle a much requested costume and,that is Harley Quinn from the Suicide,Squad movie super exciting we're going,to use stuff I found at the strip store,and we're going to do it without,spending a whole lot of money let's get,started all right so this is the costume,I'm going to be making it is the Suicide,Squad movie version a little bit,different from her comic book outfit but,this one consists of a pair of little,sparkly blue and red booty shorts she's,got a sort of Raglan baseball type top,some fishnet tights and then she's also,got a pair of crazy insane boots and,don't look comfortable at all so I'm,gonna start with the shorts and for,those I'm going to use two pairs of,sequin booty shorts that I got online,for $10 a piece so I'm going to cut both,of these pairs in half and I'm gonna,stick them together with my trusty hot,glue and hopefully this is strong enough,to keep my pants on,alright so there are my half-and-half,shorts now I'm going to reinforce that,seam on the inside with some tape,because I really don't want these to,fall apart next I'm going to start on,the shirt for that I'm using this white,long-sleeve t-shirt that I got at the,thrift store for 495 it's a little bit,big so I'm going to have to take it in a,bit so I'm just going to make a new seam,using hot glue to make this a little bit,smaller alright that's a much better fit,I just need to cut it shorter and cut,the sleeves a little shorter,so there's my trim down shirt she has,what looks like a sort of hand-painted,red top on the shirt so I'm going to go,ahead and do that using my trusty red,spray paint this is the same floral,paint that I used for my sailor moon,boots because it does not crack are,things that stretch so her left sleeve,has a little bit of blue kind of smudged,around on it so I'm going to do that,using some acrylic paint and my cutoff,sleeve pieces as my smudging rag so the,next step is to add the text on the,shirt I'm first going to print out the,image I'm going to put it inside the,shirt and then I'm going to use that as,a stencil to trace it onto the shirt,with Sharpie you can see it just enough,through the fabric to be able to trace,it so now I'm going to go ahead and mask,off the stripes on the sleeve so that I,can spray-paint them,so the next step is just to de-stress,this dirty it up a little bit and make,it look lived in I'm literally gonna go,throw it in the dirt all right looks,appropriately dirty so the next step are,her crazy boots I got these at the third,store they were twelve dollars they're,basically the right shape so I'm going,to paint the heels red and the,platform's here black and for that I'm,going to use acrylic paint the next step,is to cut out this weird little opening,so I'm going to go ahead and cut that,out and then paint the rest of the,details,that's it for the paint for now so now,I'm going to seal up these edges with,some black tape,all right so now that those are all,taped up I'm going to fake lace them,with some shoelaces I got these at a,convenience store for $2,so there are also laces on the bottom,part of the shoes but they don't need to,be functional so I'm just cutting and,gluing some fake ones on so the last,thing these boots need are some fake,tongues and for that I'm going to use my,trusty craft foam,boom knockoff adidas the next step is to,make her choker which says puddin so I'm,going to use craft foam once again and,some metallic duct tape for the gold,letters,not bad all done with the choker so the,last accessory I'm going to make is her,belt which was given to me by Justin,he's apparently had this sitting around,knowing that one day he would need it,for something and that day has come but,I need to make a little Harlequin,diamond belt buckle for it alright so,I'm going to make her shoulder gun,holster and I'm just gonna use some,black duct tape and kind of figure it,out as I go along,all right so this gun came from Ben's,stash of guns and I'm just gonna hit it,with some white paint all right so the,outfit is almost done but there's one,last accessory that I need and Dustin is,wearing it right now we realized that,his glove is almost identical to the one,that she wears it's my sweet fingerless,glove no big deal,costume squad pro tip don't have an,accessory steal it from your camera man,all right I also picked up these fishnet,stockings for nine dollars online the,outfit is complete so it is time to try,it all on so here is the main costume,I've got my little tiny shorts on and,time to add accessories,just some jewelry that I already had,goes with the look,all right so the final step is a hair,and makeup I got this wig online it was,$32 before I put it on I'm gonna take,the time to do a full face of Harley,Quinn makeup and I'm going to show the,guys alright so I'm gonna do Harley,Quinn's makeup she's got sort of the,clown white face going on with some blue,and some pink eyeshadow cute little face,tattoos I'm gonna start with some white,cream base great thing about this makeup,she's a crazy person so it doesn't,really have to look that good so now I'm,gonna do my eyebrows for that I'm just,gonna use a light brown eyebrow pencil,since she does have brown eyebrows now,it's time for eye shadow it's gonna be,really messy and not blended and just,sort of everywhere now I'm going to put,on some false lashes just for a little,bit of extra drama this part is gonna be,really hard let's see if I can write on,my face in the mirror there you go it,only sort of looks like a five-year-old,did it so now I have the very difficult,task of giving myself an arm tattoo on,my right arm so I get to do this with my,left hand we'll see if it looks like I,was attacked by a fourth grader with,some crayons we'll see how does anyone,okay alright hey,all right so now that the makeup and all,the tattoos are done I'm going to put,the rest of the costume on and go show,the guys all right here we go time to,see Claire right finished hardly can't,wait it's gonna be awesome scary,here comes Wow yes oh my gosh this is so,awesome,the boots are killer look at those,they're pretty intense those are some,nice knockoffs the knockoff some kinda,tainted Wow,it's for gun white her name is white,yeah okay I got really lazy and only,painted half the gun because it's gonna,be in the holster but hey it's a white,gun,cool all right so how much did this end,up costing me the whole thing,not counting the change on my holster,was about $40 the wig was I think 30,that's pretty good for that way cuz,that's like the real thing right you,didn't know I didn't it came this way no,and then you thought about maybe just,like spray-painting a blonde wig - yeah,dude procrastinating and you're using,me to do it you know that's not fair,turn the video off get your crap done I,don't want you coming at me for revenge,because you forgot to do your homework,or feed your kids and psychologically,speaking revenge rarely brings us the,catharsis we hope for I'll be ready for,the video all right now listen very,closely gonna go to a place called the,Dollar Tree you're gonna go to a distant,corner where you'll find some plastic,tablecloths get a few different colors,five six just load up then you're gonna,get this perforated rug stuff or you,could get it at Joanne's get about a,yard no it's more expensive at Joanne's,get it at the Dollar Tree then you're,gonna go to Goodwill get yourself some,jeans then you're gonna go to five below,and get a pink sports bra and knock it,off with the New York accent because,it's quite vexing well you know Harley,Quinn has a New York accent so we're,gonna stick with it for now then if you,want to make the worst tutorial anyone's,ever seen use some clear fabric that's,what I did and it turned out awful,that's why I'm treating you to this cute,little diagram of the best pieces you,are gonna cut out and those tiny little,polka dots you see around the edge are,we gonna place your pieces together and,so then the front - flappity flap should,lay like so now sit down next to your,friend who may or may not have,questionable makeup techniques and then,take a dark colored ribbon and sew or,glue it all around the edges look I know,I said that this was a no sewing video,and it could be okay so for all the,seams you can just use clear packing,tape and for other things you can use,glue and now to make the sleeves which I,really didn't even want to make because,I liked wearing this best on its own so,much if I didn't make sleeves then I,would have to get this tattoo on my arm,and my dad would be devastated so you,know I'm the only one of my siblings who,doesn't have a tattoo so it's not that,I'm never gonna get one it's just that I,have to wait till my parents die which,will not be soon I will not allow it yes,I'm talking to you virus that will not,be named oh wait no I'm talking to,subscribers or viewers or something cut,cut these tablecloths into strips and,then tie them onto your perforated,sleeves I really threw myself into my,work trying to get as much done as,possible because I had LASIK surgery the,next day and there was a small chance,that I would go completely blind so I,wanted to make sure I got this done,while I still had sight now it wasn't,super nervous because my eye doctor had,a really steady hand like so studied,that he didn't move it or any other part,of his body the whole time sorry I'm,just lying that was actually not my eye,doctor,my eye doctor was this lady who no not,hurt the other lady who was very serene,and calming which was great because I'm,a nervous laugh er she combed me a,couple times when I broke out and,laughter and I was laughing because of,this song that was stuck in my head do,do do do do do okay it's not funny yet,but just wait I realize if you know what,that songs from it'll make so much sense,in a minute because it suddenly made,sense to me and then I was laughing even,harder and then they sliced a layer of,my eyeball off and brushed it with this,thing and all I can think of,now I risk getting a copyright strike,for putting that in there but I really,needed you guys to understand exactly,what was going on in my head so anyways,they replaced the little flap of skin on,my eyeball and suddenly I'm gonna fill,up this portion of the video with some,of the happier moments of my post,surgery because the immediate day of was,not all that great but I tell you what,the next morning this is the first to distress our shorts,so I'm going to look up how to distress,Oh based on what I'm reading there are a,few things that might work okay so take,the shorts I don't love you anything and,then there's also you flunked you have,to repeat 13th grade uh-uh,you've been selected for The Hunger,Games I can't think of any phrases that,would distress someone more alright,enough horsing around here's some ways,to make your jeans look aged and ragged,now I was a little distressed that I,missed the shorts with my car and I was,about to give up when I saw something in,the distance a man walking his cat and,an idea came over me okay so that didn't,really work either and after about a,minute the cat's owner who didn't speak,English started looking a little bit,anxious and confused but I discovered a,really great way to DIY some artificial,cat scratches is to take a pair of sharp,tweezers and then scratch at your shorts,with them then poke little holes and,mess with the strings with the tweezers,but be careful not to do what I did and,stab yourself with the tweezers because,then you're faced with the dilemma of,like okay should i stain this fabric it,would actually be kind of on brand for,Harley Quinn to have bloodstains on her,shorts but I ultimately decided not to,then I went to the airport to pick up my,favor to compatriot Courtney but due to,spring break the crowdedness of the,airport was kind of unbearable and I,couldn't find her so I just texted her,and said I'll be the one blasting the,song happy days come find me and it,worked then I took a little break from,my costume to feed my black market pets,and play pool with Courtney but when we,went to the clubhouse where we usually,play billiards there were some boys,already playing there so we played with,them and then made a bet that the winner,got to shoot at the loser and we won so,it was all worth it after vigorously,searching I finally found some caution,tape though it did say caution old folks,zone which is alright I suppose I'll use,the extra I have leftover to put in,front of the retirement community where,I live so that people know not to bring,illnesses here because older people are,highly susceptible the whole project was,put on hold because Courtney and I just,finished an within e it ended super well,and we're happy yet really mad because,it's not being renewed and whoever made,that call he's a stupid turd our eyes,weren't the only things to spring a leak,that night look at my pillow just,kidding I was trying that this is,happening out the window but it totally,looks like it was happening on my bed,not sure how to explain what exactly was,going on here outside of my camper that,night but the best way I can explain is,do you ever feel like you just can't,even anymore and you're just gonna burst,well I guess the ground was like that,that night and you flooded like the,whole property but then I mr. plumber,guy came to play in it and the next,morning it was fixed speaking of the,next morning Courtney and I had,little competition to see who could put,the most makeup on in five minutes and,I'd have to say there was no real winner,here then I had a hearty breakfast of,peanut M&Ms which I shared with my,little buddy Alvin then for lunch,I shared a heaping helping of hard work,with my other buddy Courtney then I beat,Courtney at a game of pool and she took,it so hard that she went all the way,back to Ohio because I am so fond of,sunshine I decided to take my project up,on the roof to finish it and was pleased,to discover that if I ever lose an arm,I'll apparently still be able to climb,ladders then I spent yet more time,threading little plastic hairs through,the wig cap that is this sleeve I'm,gonna take a quick break to go,downstairs and get some sunblock because,I fell asleep in the Sun earlier today,and I had already gotten a little bit,darker than I intended to especially to,play Harley Quinn because she is,relatively pale but I'm from Ohio so I,just kept telling myself it's March you,don't wear sunblock in March but this is,Florida I thought the sleeves would be,relatively quick and easy to do but I,felt like a little mouse who had taken,on a human size latch hook project now,to finish off your sleeves you're going,to want to bring the two sides together,and then weave a ribbon in and out of,the holes tying it on each end when you,finished it'll look like a five-year-old,gave you stitches on your arm because of,the fabric this is made out of I decided,to use clear packing tape to attach the,sleeves to the best also because the,thought of sewing the sleeves to the,vest would I just couldn't handle any,more reminders of this scene if you want,to make your suspenders I recommend,using cherry flavored fruit by the foot,but if not you can do what I did and buy,some on Amazon they were pretty cheap,next we're going to follow the,instructions that are for some reason on,the suspenders I'm a generic German,woman from Z olden days speaking of,generic here are some tips to making a,generic bobbed wig look more like Harley,Quinn's hair when cutting your bangs,think how would a five-year-old cut this,and been doing your hair's makeup be,sure to put dark eyeshadow on the roots,to make it look more realistic then,follow up with pink and blue eyeshadow,at the end to do your faces makeup find,the lightest concealer you have and,drench your face in it you don't do this,hair reminds me of I'm not piranha now,blend your concealer in and bake every,square inch of your face and powder you,may be tempted to get creative due to,the amount of time this takes but makeup,hacks don't just happen,people don't just come up with them they,have to try a lot of things that fail,first so I don't want to hear it about,good after blending in your shirt's,makeup begin glamorously scribbling upon,your face in the most starkly,contrasting colors now it's time to,decorate the rest of your body and,because we're thrifty and cost-effective,we're going to use the same sharpies,that we used on your shorts to make the,tattoos are we ready now oh yeah it's,time for the story of when Harley Quinn,threw her mom on the scooter and took it,to a place called fun spot,I definitely think I had more fun than,my mom here especially when I noticed,some line dances dancing and I thought I,could just jump in line and HARLEY QUINN Suicide Squad homemade costume for Halloween. Part 1

Hello everybody today we will make the Harley Quinn Suicide Squad costume,For that we will use crepe paper to dye the clothes,you can also use clothes dye,let's make the dye in,red, blue and black colors,We put hot water into a glass and we add the crepe paper,The paper is colorfast and so got our dye shirts,Careful because there are roles that stain less. If that happens, switch brands,I also black dye,Eye stained hands, put you gloves,Let's use some white seamless legings for pants,We cut the length you want. Harley Quinn sometimes shorts out more than others,Before painting pants Harley, we wash them so that the dye is fixed,Equal to or cutting,As I is still wet I have to be careful to paint because the dye runs,I'll paint the other half blue position under a plastic so that no,staining the table,Let dry before painting the center because the paint if not extended,Topped with a smaller brush,I would decorate with red and blue sequins or glitter lacquer fixing,if you want to wear pants other I give you option is to take two tutus,one red and one blue and attach them using the same rubber waist,Now for the shirt. Suicide Squad Harley Quinn, Costume Tutorial ♡ Stephanie Wyatt

i started,this is my harlequin suicide squad,costume tutorial if you'd like to see,the makeup tutorial i'll leave it in the,downbar below so let's get started,the first thing you want to do is lay,your t-shirt out with a ruler and pencil,and line the top of her t-shirt and then,go over it with the red sharpie pen make,sure to get the chest sort of section,correct and then you want to work on the,shoulders,to match them up as well on the arms and,then yeah you're good to go to get ready,to iron on the transfer,you then need to iron your t-shirt very,very flat so there's no creases for the,iron-on transfer paper to get crimpled,so what you want to do now is cut out,the iron transfer leaving a five,millimeter border around it and just,follow the simple instructions i am,doing with the iron you want to first,iron from the left corner all the way to,the right straight as you can see and,then you need to go in circular motions,all over and it will be complete once,you have done this you then need to wait,for it to cool down for about,seven seconds i believe and then you,need to slowly very slowly peel it off i,wasn't able to do this without messing,it up so as you can see my mum has,kindly done it for me so thanks mum,what you'll soon see is is i didn't,press down enough on a certain part on,the left hand side and it did leave it a,little bit colorless so i went over it,with a sharpie,once the iron on transfer paper is,complete and you've got daddy's little,monster on your t-shirt to cut the,collar out and you need to uh cut the,bottom half of the t-shirt so it's a,crop top and you then need to cut the,sleeves as well,so what i'm doing now is i'm measuring,the sides to draw the red lines that she,has on both of her sleeves so i'm just,doing a rough estimate making sure i go,all the way around,then you want to grab a brush and some,fabric paint i got these from hobbycraft,which i'll leave in the description box,below if you if you're interested and,then all i do is just simply paint them,all over both sides both arms and then i,head on to the,top section of the t-shirt,yes,now making holes in the cropped tummy,section so i've just grabbed a like pen,knife sort of craft knife sort of thing,i don't know and i'm just making holes,of it and then i am ripping it with my,hands to make them more realistic,now what i've got is some blue fabric,dye just to do a dip dye of her left,sleeve,so i'm just dipping it in and then,letting it dry,i will link the stencils in the down bar,below and i just got our wooden child's,baseball bats and duct tape and i've got,a cloth line,throughout the good night if you do have,stencils this would be a whole,letters and then i sellotaped them to,the baseball bat went over with red,sharpie on them and then just outlined,them with a black sharpie and yeah as,you can see it's,it's not turned out as bad i'm a bit,annoyed with the first,o and the second o so i'm a bit annoyed,with that i have put some white duct,tape along the bottom as the bottom of,her back is white and i do go over that,a bit more later on but as you can see,this is how i do,the writing,so,what i'm doing now is i am drawing some,black dots and just drawing them up with,a ruler these aren't accurate and it,didn't turn out as well as i wanted to,but hey ho you can do this a whole lot,better than i can and this was just my,first attempt as well so please beware,with that but yes basically she's got,four diamonds or three diamonds along,the bottom of a bat above the white duct,tape and i just basically went in with,red and blue in the diamonds inside and,later on i did add a blue border around,the diamonds that she does have on her,original bat so,that's that and then after,all i did was simply just write all over,the board in black sharpie and you know,just a few quotes then there is,hahahahaha,all over the back as well there is some,diamonds there's lucky you,there's hearts there's a love heart with,an arrow going through saying mr j as,you can see by the stencils and pudding,and whatnot i just simply copied them so,that's all i did and yeah i hope it,looks okay,and this is the finished look of the bat,i hope it looks alright it sort of,turned out okay maybe not the two o's,but never mind it's my first attempt,and i'm now measuring out just a square,cut it out and then i am going to,measure it around my neck to make sure,that it fits my neck as the choker i am,aware i have done this choker very thick,even though i have cut it again just now,but still i am using foam glue to attach,the end because it was a little bit too,short,and then what i'm doing is i am just,tracing over the letters pudding,p-u-d-d-i-n in capital letters as i saw,from a previous picture to copy and,these didn't really turn out well and i,wasn't really impressed with them,but i was running so late and really,wanted these videos up so i just left it,as it is i do not recommend this if,you're obviously doing a cosplay or,whatnot but it's entirely up to you i,was,fine with it and i just left it how it,was so yeah i'm then obviously cutting,out the letters and then i'm using,acrylic gold metal or metallic paint,to paint them with i had to paint them,twice and leave it overnight as well for,them to set,which started,and then all i do is i am just using the,foam glue again and gluing it onto the,choker,then i am adding a velcro little square,and velcroing the choker together and,then that's the finished look i'm not,100 proud of this and impressed with,this but this is what i did,so now i just have a black belt with a,gold buckle that i got from ebay i've,got some foam again and i am drawing a,square and a square on the inside to,create a diamond buckle which i am then,going to paint gold with the acrylic,metallic paint again i also have a bag,of little studs these were meant to be a,whole lot bigger than what i purchased,but did not realize either way i am just,cutting out the buckle i am then gonna,paint it and then stick it on with,velcro and i'm going to attach the studs,to the belt like so,moving on to her leg tattoos so i just,picked up the samples again which i,copied from google and i then googled,images what she actually has on her leg,she has pudding written facing up her as,you can see by my leg on her left thigh,and also the joker phase further down,and as you can tell by the tattoos i'm,going to be doing on my leg you can tell,what she's got i did also add a couple,of different ones and hearts here there,and everywhere please don't judge my,drawing i am not an artist or whatsoever,but hey you know i tried it was really,difficult doing this with like liquid,pen eyeliner and also a thin brush with,gel eyeliner and eyeshadow mix,also ps i do apologize about the mickey,mouse shorts um i needed to put some,trousers on shorts wise to do all these,tattoos as i need to put fishnet tights,on over this and then the shorts that,she has on which we'll see in the DIY HARLEY QUINN COSTUME - SUICIDE SQUAD - MARGOT ROBBIE

Oh,hi guys my name is Kelsey and my name is,Becky and we're the star girls and today,we have another Halloween tutorial for,you proceed own a horse we do this is,another hugely requested one this year,so of course we had to do it soon cause,it's like every year it has been and all,the other years like this new movie,hadn't come about so try and do her old,costume which was like a full-on latex,bodysuit would have been impossible or,that very hard so we're super excited,that Suicide Squad coming out and we're,doing the costume from that movie coming,out next year so we've heard a lot about,it because it was sown in Toronto which,is where we are so bad exciting yes just,like besides movies no yet so which is,based on this caution while the couple,pictures plus the trailer so that's what,we got to go on and this is only our,second Halloween costume of 2015 we have,lots from the other 5 years that we've,been on YouTube and we have lots or,something so make sure you subscribe for,more Halloween costume ideas and we hope,you guys enjoy to make this Harlequin,costume we started with the shirt you,will need a plain white long-sleeve,shirt cut off the neckline hem as well,as the arms right below the elbow and,some off the bottom to make it a little,bit shorter next we're taping off the,areas that we want to be red this will,be about four inches down from the top,as well as two bands around each arm,we used a regular sharpie to fill in the,armbands and for the top will be,creating a dip-dyed effect using this,red fabric dye wrap the bottom half of,your shirt up in plastic bag to keep it,as white as possible,dip the top half of your shirt into the,dye up until your tape line leave it in,for a couple of minutes and then take,your shirt oh and rinse it off once it's,all dry it should look like this,our dye didn't match our Sharpie,perfectly but we think that adds the,worn in effect of the shirt,excuse inks of iron on transfer paper,print out her dyed little monster logo,and we'll have a link to this in the,description make sure you're printing it,out in Reapers cut it out and iron it,onto the shirt according to the,directions of your paper and when it's,all done it looks like this,for her glove we took a regular driving,glove from the thrift store and cut the,fingertips off using the shiny blue and,red spandex we cut out pieces to fit,over the various parts of the glove and,glued them on top for her hair we'll be,using a light blonde wig tied into two,pigtails we're using this blonde movie,already had from our Daenerys & Elsa,costume videos make sure you check those,out as well we're not sure if the,pigment will end up staining but that's,okay since this wigs been well loved by,us we found this temporary hair dye,stick that conveniently came in blue and,pink color onto the ends of the pigtails,working your way up about two-thirds of,the way repeat this with the blue as,well we also added hair ties to our wig,using the fan decks from our shorts for,her bat we're using this plain wooden,baseball bat either get one in a light,wood or paint it white like we're doing,next we're going to wrap the bottom part,in some white tape next we get three,diamonds out of tape and place them,around the bottom of your bat and add,tape lines above and below color in the,wood with red paint once that's dry take,off smaller diamond shapes inside of our,white diamonds and paint them blue,lastly tape off two bands on the outside,and paint these black to add the,goodnight text to the bat first print,out your words we'll have a link to this,one below as well tape the words onto a,sheet of vinyl and use an exacto knife,to cut out the letters,stick your vinyl down onto the bat and,don't forget to stick the middle of any,letters like the O back in as well paint,over your stencil with a red paint and,then peel it off to make our lines,sharper we trace the letters leave black,sharpie once the paint was dry and to,add the writing on the bat we looked up,some classic Harley quotes and phrases,and wrote them in a jagged handwriting,to the back we did some words in black,as well as some in reps we're not sure,exactly what her back does say in the,film but we just kind of took,inspiration from what we found online,for her wrist accessories were starting,with this black studded belt from a,thrift store cut a piece off about the,size of your wrist and attach it,together with a piece of velcro repeat,this so that you have two for her belt,we're taking this studded belt also from,a thrift store and taking off the buckle,luckily ours came apart but you might,have to cut yours open we're going to,spray-paint the buckle gold since we,took the buckle off we are securing our,belt back together with some velcro,we're then attaching the buckle onto the,front of the belt and tilting it on an,angle to create a diamond shape like,Harley zé's in the film we're using a,strong glue like e6000 to do this for,her boots we lucked out big-time by,finding these athletic inspired heels,from the thrift store you can use plain,white heeled boots instead as those may,be easier to find,we started by taping off parts of the,boot that we didn't want to be black we,left two shapes on the side plus a,stripe all the way around the bottom and,the top as well as the lace-up holes PSU,ran out of tape and that's why they're,it's two different colors spray paint,this black we then colored in the back,of the heels with a red sharpie,to make Harley's shorts start with a,pair of well fitting shorts that we'll,be using as our template this is way,easier than describing measurements as,this would be different for everyone,fold your shorts in half along its,natural seam lines and trace the shape,onto a piece of paper,repeat this for both the front and the,back half of your shorts draw a line,about a quarter inch out from your,template for seam allowance and then cut,this edit using some shiny blue and red,spandex we cut out a front and back,piece in each color don't forget to flip,your template around too so that you,have a left and a right side next place,your good sides together for both the,front and the back pieces and sew up the,middle of each piece you should now have,a single front and back piece that are,half blue and half red placing the good,sides together line up the bottoms and,pin them together,we'll be sewing along this line as well,as up both sides once it's done flip it,inside out but you should have a pair of,shorts feel free to add a hem line,around the top and the legs as well if,you want for Harley's choker start with,a nude white or clear belt cut off an,amount long enough to fit around your,neck attach the two ends together with,some velcro for the letters we hand drew,out the word puddin onto some foam,making sure they were the height of the,belt,feel free to also use any wooden or foam,pre-cut alphabet letters if you want if,that's easier once they were all cut out,we spray painted them gold and lastly,we're puttin them onto the choker with,some hot glue haha get it for the makeup,we're starting with this white creme,face paint and spending it all over the,face set it with a light powder for the,eyes use a bright pink and blue eye,shadow let it messily around the eyes,and down the side smudge a black eye,liner under the eyes finish with a top,winged eyeliner and some mascara and,we're going to add a red lip and we're,going to add a black heart under the,pink eye,for the arm we made this super simple,stencil by cutting out some diamonds on,a strip of card and painting the,diamonds with some blue and red face,mail use eyeliner to draw some Harley,designs on your legs we're writing,things like put in and adding some,diamonds and hearts according to some,reference photos that we found to put on,the costume add a pair of fishnet tights,and put on your shorts over top use some,scissors to rip a couple of holes in,your tights add your wrist cuffs and,glove we're also adding these studded,bracelets that we already own from,Topshop we're going to add our puddin,choker add your shoes wig and fat and,you're done your Hollywood costume from,the new Suicide Squad,Oh,so hopefully you guys love that we think,it turned out amazing and we're super,excited just like we are with every,costume that we kind of pull out in,every DIY that we do the six in the just,gonna consume,so I'm going to take my ash brown and,I'm gonna use my luck C 215 brush and,just fill in my brows,all right so we're gonna move on to the,eye shadow I'm gonna leave the face for,a little bit later case you have any,fallout or messed up so you can always,fix it with concealer take this face,powder from Urban Decay essence in fair,cool and I'm just going to lay down a,nice even
