hello everybody welcome back to my,channel can you recognize who I am if,you want to see how to get this look and,how I created my magic wand just keep,watching,if you want to be a really good hair me,only for your Halloween party you will,need a magic wand you can buy a lot of,simple magic wands in party stores or,helloween stores but if you want,something original or special I'm going,to show you how to do it yourself all,you're gonna need is some chap sticks,some acrylic paint and hot glue all you,need to do is cover the end of your,chapstick with some hot glue it really,doesn't have to be perfect,after your hot glue is not so hot,anymore and it's all set you can start,to paint your magic wand I'm using brown,acrylic paint for the base color,after you painted your whole magic wand,you just need to decorate it I'm gonna,use some gold acrylic paint and paint,some gold on the top of the magic wand,and some on the handle,on the other magic wand I'm going to use,some hot glue and I'm gonna use some,tiny jams and put it in the hot glue but,be careful because it's really hot,so the ones are done all you need to do,is wait for them to dry and you can use,it as your magic wand for your hem you,need custom,but for your hair muna costume you will,need a tie which is similar to the ones,in Harry Potter a black skirt a jumper,with a v-neck and some high knee socks,so as you can see this costume requires,our doing a couple of things that you,need to buy like the other things you,can find easily at home so I think it's,really simple and really easy and it's,it's really a last-minute costume,I think the hair and makeup should be,really natural and simple so you don't,need to really think about it,but if you want to you can create big,curls or waves and you can make your own,magic wand so this is how my costume,looks like,but the little thing is real guys I,really hope you enjoyed this video and I,hope you can create these custom for the,serving party and if you did please send,me pictures on Twitter or on Instagram,and thank you for watching please,subscribe if you haven't already and I,will see you in my next video bye

accio intro,hey guys i'm mackenzie and today i'm,going to show you how i transfer myself,into hermione granger from harry potter,i got my hogwarts gryffindor scarf,this robe that i made i can show you,guys how i did that,um all this and the wig,so for hermione's wand um i was actually,able to get a pretty good dupe off etsy,it came in this really cute box it says,magic wand on it,says magic wand on it and it has,hermione granger,there when you open it up it has this,cute ribbon,and a little nice holder,looks like that,it's leviosa not levio,saw hey guys so it's the morning of my,hermione photo shoot so i'm going to,take you through how i do my makeup to,make my face look a little more like,emma watson's,so now i'm going to use foundation,put it under my eyes,i'm just going to take a little extra,foundation,for my lips,contour palette i'm just gonna put it in,here,it's gonna contour my nose too a little,shorter,now i'm going to contour my face to be a,little more,like elongated,so for my eyebrows um,herds are a little shorter than mine and,they're not quite as archie,so i'm gonna try and make the sides,shorter,concealer and just kind of outline my,eyebrows,make them a little smaller with this,skinny brush,i wonder if i just went rogue and,plucked this off,bad idea i did not do this,now for her eyes i'm just gonna,shade under a little bit,i'm just gonna take a light beige color,and go all over my eyelid,bring some light into the corner of my,eyes,darken my crease a little bit,and here i'm just adding highlight,to complete the look i used an oxford,from my closet a skirt from poshmark,that i ended up altering,and then i bought the sweater and the,tie online and then made the robe myself,here we have the original knee-length,skirt,for my alterations i took the skirt in,at the waist and hemmed it about five,inches,for the robe i use simplicity pattern,8723 which is just a basic harry potter,costume robe,um and i did make one alteration which,was i decided to line the entire thing,with,the red fabric rather than just the,front,so here's the skirt and robe after,i have a whole separate tutorial for how,i made this wig which you guys can check,out on my channel but here it is after,that whole process was finished,once i had the wig on i just secured it,down to my scalp with,a little bit of the got to be blue,blasting free spray,okay well that's everything so thanks so,much for watching guys and don't forget,to like this video and subscribe to my,channel to get,more cosplay content thanks,you

DIY Hogwarts Robes (Transform One Robe Into Four Houses)
Hello everyone, in this video I'll be showing you how you,can transform an existing Hogwarts House robe into any of the other houses.,Today I'll be transforming a Gryffindor robe into Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff.,I'll also show you how to make a simple
matching tie to go with it. So let's get started.,Starting off with the house crest you're going to need:,Dark t-shirt transfer paper,and a printout of the house crest of your choice.,So what I did was search for Hogwarts house crests images and picked the one that I liked best.,Then, I put it into a Word document, you can also do this using Photoshop.,I covered up any crest that I didn't want and resized it.,Next, I put the transfer paper into my printer and color printed the image.,You may want to do a test print of the image on plain paper just to see if you've made it the correct size.,You're also going to need a black
bandana,,scissors,an iron,towel,a flat surface to work on,,fabric mod podge, and a paintbrush.,You're also going to need a hot glue gun or needle and thread.,First, carefully cut out the house crest leaving a sort of triangle shape to one end.,At this end, carefully peel off the transfer film from the backing paper.,You just want to lift a small portion of it then continue to cut out the crest.,Once you have the crest cut out, place a towel onto a flat surface and place the bandanna on top.,You can now peel off the crest from the backing paper completely.,Now following your transfer papers instructions, heat up your iron to the correct setting.,Iron out any wrinkles on the bandana then place the crest image on top.,Cover with parchment paper then, pressing firmly, iron over the entire crest making sure to go all around the edges.,Let the parchment cool for a minute then
carefully peel it off and lift up the bandanna.,Next, in order to make the crest have a
glossy finish and more vibrant color,we're going to paint over it with some fabric mod podge.,Simply paint a thin even layer over the entire crest.,Let it dry completely for a few minutes
then cut out the crest shape,,making sure to leave a border around it.,You don't have to cut around every detail on the crest, a simple border will do just fine.,Now for the hood of the robe, you're obviously going to need a Hogwarts robe either bought or made.,First, measure out the dimensions of the hood.,For my store-bought robe, I needed a piece of folded fabric measuring 22 inches wide and 29 inches long.,So for Slytherin, I went with a matte emerald green color fabric.,For Ravenclaw, I chose a royal blue charmeuse fabric.,For Hufflepuff, I chose a golden charmeuse fabric.,And if you're making Gryffindor you will need a scarlet color fabric.,Now, make sure your fabric is folded in half with the ends facing right.,These are the measurements I used to make the hood and tie components.,So go ahead and with a fabric pencil and ruler,,measure out the hood onto the left side of the fabric.,On the right side measure out a tie shape.,You want to leave a seam allowance around the tie,so be sure to measure it a few inches larger than you want it to be.,It's easier to do this using a tie you already own as reference but if you don't have one that's okay.,The way I measured out my tie is a bit odd.,I first measured an 8 inch line horizontally towards the bottom of the fabric,then made it into a triangle shape with two 5 inch sides going down.,Then from that point I made a vertical line,measuring 19.2 inches.,At the top I measured a 6.5 inch line,using the vertical line as the middle of the measurement.,Finally, I measured two 16.1 inch lines,connecting the top and 8 inch measurements.,The lines should be on a slight angle going upwards.,I know that's a lot of measuring but it works.,Then, measure a piece for the knot of the tie. You don't have to worry about,the loop portion that goes around your neck because we're going to do something different.,So for the knot I made a 3 inch by 6 inch rectangle.,Then measured a 4 inch by 4 inch square to use for the tipping of the tie.,So once everything is measured out,,you can then cut out the pieces with some fabric scissors.,Use some binder clips or sewing pins to hold the fabric together,while you cut out the hood.,You should have a piece that looks like this.,Now for the tie pieces you only need to use one side of the fabric.,So unfold the fabric and cut out the pieces.,Now turn the hood of the robe inside out.,Then fit the hood fabric piece onto the hood of the robe and measure the area,where the robe meets the end of the fabric.,Next sew up the bottom of the fabric,and 6.2 inches up on the diagonal side using needle and thread or a sewing machine.,Also make sure the side of the fabric you want to be showing is on the,inside when you sew the fabric together.,As you can see I chose to use the matte dull side.,Then flip the hood inside out and fit the hood of the robe into the new hood.,Now you can attach it onto the robe using hot glue or by sewing it on.,Be sure to fold over the fabric a little when attaching it so the edges look clean.,Once you've glued on a majority of the hood around the rim,,you can then turn the hood right-side out,and finish the edge where the hood meets the robe.,Find the center seam of the robe's hood and align it with the center seam of the new one.,Then continue attaching the hood onto the robe.,You will need to trim off a few bits here and there,so the fabric attaches correctly and doesn't bunch up or look odd.,The finishing touch to your new house robe is to simply,place the new house crest directly on top of the old one.,Attach either by sewing along the border of the crest using black thread,or by using hot glue.,Now you have your very own brand new Hogwarts house robe.,Lastly, to make the matching house tie you're going to need the following things:,For Hufflepuff, you will need the golden charmeuse tie pieces of fabric from earlier,,a hot glue gun,a thin paintbrush,a fabric pencil,thick elastic,scissors,a ruler,needle and thread,and dimensional fabric paint in royal blue and silver. (CORRECTION: You'll only need BLACK dimensional fabric paint. I made a creative decision/mistake.),For Ravenclaw, you'll need royal blue fabric instead and you'll only need silver dimensional fabric paint.,For Slytherin, you'll need green fabric instead and only need silver dimensional fabric paint.,And for Gryffindor, you'll need scarlet fabric instead and to need gold dimensional fabric paint.,First, you need to recreate the diagonal striped pattern,that the house ties have.,I actually measured the spacing between the stripes,on the Gryffindor tie and got these measurements.,So go ahead and mark out the stripes on the fabric using a ruler and fabric pencil.,Of course if you already have a house tie, you can just trace the lines onto the fabric.,Once you have all the stripes marked out, you can then paint over them with the fabric paint.,Using a fine paintbrush spread out the paint.,Keep in mind the parallel lines are thicker than the single lines.,Then repeat the same steps for the rectangle fabric piece.,For the Hufflepuff tie, the stripe color is a mix of the blue and silver fabric paint. (CORRECTION, THE STRIPES ARE BLACK),So mix the colors together then paint on the stripes. (PAINT THE STRIPES BLACK),After letting the paint dry completely for a few minutes,,you can then shape and glue the fabric into a tie shape.,First, fold the tip of the fabric and glue it down.,Then fold the two sides inwards forming
a point and glue it down.,With the square fabric piece you're going to use this for the tipping part of the tie.,But first make a sort of hem to the square by folding and gluing down the edges of the square like this.,Now you can place and glue the square onto the tie,making sure to leave a margin like this.,Trim off any excess.,Then fold the sides of the fabric inwards, overlapping slightly.,Make sure the sides are even and this lower half of the tie is even.,Then glue them down.,Fold the top of the tie and glue it down.,Now the tie should look something like this.,With the rectangle piece make clean edges again,by folding and gluing down the edges like this.,Then wrap it around the top portion of the tie, this will be the knot of the tie.,Make sure the knot looks slightly pinched at the bottom and wide at the top.,Glue it into place but leave an opening at the back.,Next, put on a collared shirt then wrap the elastic around the collar.,Make sure it fits comfortable around your neck it will stretch so don't make it too tight or too loose.,Then cut off the length you need.,Sew the ends together using needle and thread.,Sew it onto the back of the tie knot.,Lastly, you can glue down the opening in the back.,And there is your completed Hogwarts house tie.,To complete my Hogwarts uniform I wore black chelsea boots,,black tights, a grey skirt, a gray cardigan, and a white dress shirt.,Then added on the house tie and house robe.,So now you know how to transform an existing Hogwarts house robe into,whichever house you want and make a simple tie to go with it.,If you'd like to make your own DIY wand like this one, click the link in the description box down below.,If you end up recreating your own robe and tie, be sure to tag me,on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook because I'd love to see them!,Thank you so much for watching and for all your continued support.,Be sure to thumbs up this video if you liked it and comment down below which house you belong to.,Till next time bye!

hi thank you for joining me my name is,Bonnie and we are getting closer to,Halloween every day now I want to share,with you one of my go-to Halloween,costumes which is Hermione Granger now,this is a good costume for if you're,invited to a last-minute party and you,need to pull together something quickly,or if you simply want to try to gather,the components of the costume with what,you might already own at home the first,in largest item for the outfit that is,really going to tie everything together,is the Gryffindor robes now this is,something that I bought at a Halloween,shop many years ago I just at this Harry,Potter at a costume party many many,years ago so I did purchase this but if,you have a black robe of some sort you,could literally print out an image of,the crest and pin it or sew it on to the,robe if you wanted to go for the,cheapest option or fastest if that was a,faster option for you so this is the,first and largest item your next items,are going to be more basic it's going to,be a white collared shirt and black,pants or you can go with a gray skirt,I'm going with black pants now I don't,actually own a white colored t-shirt,this is my husband's dress shirt but I'm,gonna make it work because I'm trying to,do it on a budget another thing you,could use or get for your Hermione,costume is a gray v-neck sweater I do,not own a gray v-neck sweater or,anything that resembles it so I'm just,gonna skip that but if you want to do it,you do you the next item you will need,for your outfit is a pair of black shoes,now I don't have black sneakers so I'm,simply,where a pair of black flats that I,already own the next item that you're,going to be needing and we're getting,into the details a little bit is a tie,now I don't own a Gryffindor tie if you,do and awesome,you've got it covered but I don't so I'm,simply gonna wear a red tie the next,item is going to be purely optional I,already own it so I'm gonna be rockin it,which is the Gryffindor House scarf and,of course what witch's book is complete,without her magic wand I do own,Hermione's blonde from the movies but,never fear if you do not that's okay,simply find a substitute such as a,wooden spoon I found this wooden spoon,are very loved and used wooden spoon but,if you simply hold the spoon part of it,in your hand and have the handle,sticking out you've got a magic wand,right there in your kitchen all this,time and you never knew you could also,go outside and grab a stick and then,you've got yourself a very natural,looking magic wand now this is another,optional piece it is,Hermione's time-turner I already own,this and that's why I'm going to use it,if you don't own it and that is okay it,is optional but if you wanted to try to,construct one out of construction paper,or if you wanted to go to a store that,sells like replica time Turner's I know,that Hot Topic usually has a Time Turner,keychain just an idea there for you but,this is definitely gonna be a part of my,ensemble,and the last piece of the puzzle is the,hair now what you might want to do is go,out and get a big curly wig if you do,awesome but for me I am simply going to,curl my hair as big as possible now just,in case you don't know how to tie a tie,I'll do a quick little tutorial for you,you have your long end and you have your,short end now this is the skinny guy,this is the thick guy the thick side is,gonna go over the skinny side it's gonna,come around the back like so and then,we're gonna do it again thick side over,the skinny side just going around again,we're actually gonna come up through the,neck hold pull it through and you see,right here it creates this little notch,we're gonna stick this in through a,notch and then give it a little pull,just tighten well so you want to make,sure that you're a little skinny side is,shorter than your thick side and then of,course tuck it under the collar,thank you so much for watching I hope,you enjoyed this video and maybe you've,got a few tips of your own for your own,Hermione costume or cosplay if you like,this video go ahead and give it a thumbs,up for me so that I know that you liked,it and if you would like to subscribe as,well that would be stellar thank you,again for watching and until next time,guys goodbye and good luck

DIY HARRY POTTER COSTUME - My Hermione Halloween Costume
hello,palta,for today's video i'm gonna be showing,you guys how to diy a harry potter,costume i always try to make costumes,using things that i already have around,the house and then supplementing with,just,a few things from the craft store or,goodwill to supplement the costume and,make a costume better than anything you,can buy so we just re-watched all eight,harry potter movies so we are in the,pata spirit,um so i decided this year,since i already have some stuff to make,wizard costumes we're gonna be wizards,specifically hermione and ron,so i'm going to show you guys how i did,it so the first thing i do whenever i'm,deciding what i want to be for halloween,or just homecoming i've been making,costumes since high school so whether,it's homecoming halloween whatever you,need to make a costume for the first,step is to look for things you already,have so in my case i already had two,graduation robes one from high school,one from college so i'm gonna be using,that putting that to good use again,and then i also already had a wand,the next step i always take is to,supplement with things from the craft,store or goodwill,so i made a trip to goodwill and found a,few things the first being,a sweater,for hermione's,so the first thing i picked up was this,champion sweatshirt from goodwill this,one was 5.99 it was a little bit of a,splurge,but it was good for the costume and i,feel like i can reuse it afterwards so,that's always a plus so we're gonna be,adding a little bit of gold trim to this,to make it more gryffindor,the next thing i picked up was this,pleated skirt,it's not perfect but i got it from,goodwill i didn't have to shop from,amazon,or you know any other fast fashion site,i was able to get it secondhand this one,was 4.99 i picked up a nice,maroon tie again we're going to be,adding some gold to this and this tie,was only 1.99,and then lastly from goodwill i picked,up,this maroon reddish,table runner i think i don't know it's,just a scrap of fabric that i found,this is a good tip look for scraps of,fabric like this at goodwill or wherever,you're going because usually fabric like,this is cheaper if you buy it in,something like this or like a blanket,rather than getting you know raw fabric,from a craft source and then from the,craft store i picked up,a scrap of gold fabric it's bigger than,this but this is the only scrap i have,right now so the scrap of fabric i,picked up was from,the scraps that they have left over you,know whenever somebody returns fabric or,whatever so they were cheaper so i got,about two yards of this fabric for,2.99 so that was a really good deal and,then i picked up a spool of this maroon,ribbon,the spool is now gone so i just have a,scrap of ribbon,and that was,and the ribbon was half off so it was,only 99 cents and then lastly i picked,up a metallic gold paint pen and that,was 1.99 okay so that brings our grand,total to,so that brings our grand total to,21.93,that is a little bit more than i would,usually spend on a costume but it's,going to be a lot better quality than,anything you could buy,unless you spend you know several,hundred dollars on a costume like this,and now i have pieces that i can reuse,either for future costumes or just to,wear again so the first thing i'm going,to tackle is the tie,so like i said it's not gold we need to,make it gold so that's why i have the,paint pin i've already tested a little,swatch and it seemed to take the paint,pin pretty well so i'm just gonna go in,and add some gold striping,basically just gonna cover,the silver,and this part doesn't have to be perfect,because it's only going to be shown,right at the collar so,i'm just gonna do a couple little,stripes just to get the gold in there,okay so i don't know how well you guys,can see it on camera but it is gold i,just added a couple subtle gold accents,this such small part of the costume it,doesn't matter too much but i did want,it to be gold just to be a little more,accurate the next,next thing we're going to be doing is,making the detail to go around the,collar of the sweatshirt okay so to do,this if you really want to make it you,know professional looking you could,obviously do it with needle and thread,but i'm gonna do it with hot glue,because i'm not a sewer i'm gonna take,this scrap of fabric and basically the,game plan,is to fold it in thirds to get a nice,edge on it and then we're gonna top it,with some ribbon so let's get started,so i do already have things like a hot,glue gun and fabric scissors,but just use what you have if you don't,have fabric scissors that's okay regular,sizzles will work and if you don't have,a hot glue gun already they are pretty,cheap i would say,if you can go ahead and get one if you,plan on doing other crafting projects,because you can get one like this for,like five bucks,um but if not they do you could use,elmer's glue or tacky glue is pretty,cheap any kind of glue will pretty much,work it just depends how long you want,to wait on it to dry,okay so now we're going to be attaching,the detail i just made to the sweatshirt,and again i'm just going to be using hot,glue you could definitely sew it if you,want,but i'm not a seamstress so i'm just,going to hot glue,what was i saying before,but,how do i burn myself,once i make my move and you're free to,check the kitten,no,no,so i'm just gluing it on,i apparently somehow measured it,incorrectly,you definitely want to make sure you,measure twice and cut once,so i'm also going to add the trim to the,bottom of the sweatshirt just for a,little extra detail,since this won't even be showing,like the sides of it because i'm going,to be wearing the robe,shouldn't matter too much but if you,want to be accurate and have a,professional looking costume you might,want to make sure you measure correctly,i don't need to do any altering to the,skirt so next we're going to work on our,rope,so i'm just going to be adding a the,maroon detail,to the inside of the robe just so it,gives it that,you know layered cloak look like they,have in the movies so this is what we,are working with for her,uniform so next we're gonna work on her,robe,and i have a graduation robe i've heard,you can find these at goodwill,especially if you live in a college town,or somewhere near college so always be,on the lookout for that,but i just already had one so i'm going,to use that,so i'm going to lay out my,gown,so make sure you lay it,with the wrong side facing you because,we're going to be gluing to the inside,of it take our table runner fabric,or if you found some fabric on sale that,would work too,and if you can see it already has,a finished edge on it,so i'm going to be using that towards,the outside of the rope because that's,what's going to show,okay so i've got it lined up to the edge,here,and since i have a lot of fabric here,and i don't need that much i'm going to,cut it down the middle so that i have,two finished seams to use for either,side of the rope,so now we have our two panels of fabric,and i'm going to lay the finished seam,towards the outside and go ahead and,glue it,okay so i finished adding the lining,i think that really adds something to,the robe and definitely makes it look,more like a hogwarts robe rather than a,graduation gown if you don't already,have a wand like i do you can definitely,just use like a wooden dowel and paint,it,another good trick is to use your hot,glue gun if you have one to add the,detail that's on hermione's wand i would,be doing that to this one but i don't,have paint to cover it so if you do do,that just get some paint add your design,with hot glue let it dry and then paint,it and you'll have a perfect hermione,wand,so i'm also going to throw on some long,socks if you have black socks that's,perfect i have white ones and then any,kind of shoe you have you definitely,want to be comfy on halloween i have,some heels for this but normally i would,get some kind of a loafer so just wear,whatever you have something comfy it's,gonna look cute either way let's put it,all together,oh i didn't see you there,okay so the last touches i put on the,costume,first off i just did my hair like,hermione would do it just pinned it back,um i put a little pin right here so that,the robe kind of splays open,i added some socks my shoes and that's,all you need to be hermione,so like i said the total cost of this,costume was around 20,but it's much better quality than,anything you're gonna find in a store,and we can reuse all of these parts even,just for future costumes it's also a lot,more comfortable and if you live,somewhere that it's gonna be cold on,halloween this is definitely a lot,warmer because you're wearing a,sweatshirt and you could even put tights,underneath to keep your legs warm,i also added a collared white shirt,underneath you can see the tie,so you can also customize this costume,however you want just like they did in,the movies so,if you have red hair and you want to be,ron you could be ron or any of the,weasleys if you want to put a scar on,and some glasses you could be hairy you,can really customize this however you,want,so i hope you guys got some hello everyone today I'm going to be,showing you how to be a hardware is rich,but given your house which it is and,this in salina going to it inspired and,we'll be showing you the hair makeup,outfit and a DIY wand so let's go,for the hair you are going to need two,hair elastics and mousse the mousse is,optional but it does add more texture,they want the bottom half of your hair,to be damned then taking your knees,you're going to spread that evenly,across the bottom half of your hair,then you want to split your hair into,two even sections and brush them out we,are going to be creating french braids,and to do that you take a small section,of hair from the top of your head split,that into three even sections and braid,once then you're going to be adding,pieces of hair to the outer sections of,your braid and you keep doing this until,run out of hair to incorporate into your,braid and when this happens you continue,braiding as normal you want to make sure,your braid is tight that will enhance,the waves and Hermione's hair,I did this hairstyle the night before,but you could do this an hour too before,you have to leave and it should turn out,just as good once you have finished you,should be left with two tight French,braids they are going to leave this,alone until later when you're going to,reveal your money hair for the one you,are going to need one pencil scissors,paint of your choice I'm using purple,and gold the glue gun a paintbrush and,one piece of paper start off by,sharpening a pencil until the lead,starts to appear with your scissors,round off the edge so it's not as pointy,then place a little bit of hot glue on,the center of the pencil and place to,paper over back then begin rolling your,pencil in the paper diagonally to create,a sort of cone then hold on to the,pencil and pull the piece of paper out,then place a little bit of cream on the,piece of paper and glue it down,with you so just cut off the excess to,create a clean even edge then hold your,line by the pencil side and fill the,cone with white glue wait a few minutes,for that to set and it should look like,this when it's all cooled find the fleet,of the piece of paper you glued down,earlier then wrap around the one strip,of glue wait a few seconds for that to,set then begin growing down some,squiggle lines of a look like twigs,because a lot of very hard ones of some,sort of twigs or vines wrapped around,the wands so that's what you want and,you don't have to be perfect or look the,same you can really create whatever you,want once you finish gluing down your,designs you want to start painting so,I'm taking the purple paint we're,covering my entire wall and with that,people will take a few coats but once,that's finished drying I'm taking the,whole feet and putting that over the,twig outlines and now you want is ready,to cast some spells,for the output all you need is a very,white dress shirt a gray vest a scarlet,tie with yellow diagonal lines black,tights and of course the Gryffindor robe,all I bought was a tie in the robe at,the Halloween store everything else I,found in my closet cintamani is very,natural on your need is concealer and,powder and for the eyes I'm using a,black eyeliner to tightline my eyes and,using a brown eyeliner in the waterline,using the Naked 2 palette I'm taking a,light cream color and a taupe color,applying the lightest color across my,lid and using the taupe in the crease,then I'm using a blending brush to blend,the colors together,and since I did realize this needed a,little something extra I decided to take,a light champagne color and apply that,across my brow bone lower lashes and,inner corners,I ran filled in my brows to make them a,little bit fuller and for the cheeks,I used a tinted blush I just started,that across my cheeks and blended it out,and for the lips I used a light pale,pink gloss and then curled my lashes and,apply the rocket mascara and although,I'm not wearing any here I definitely,recommend you wear false lashes to add,that little something extra but you,don't have to if you don't want to once,you have finished your costume and,makeup you can finally take your hair,out of the glades,then shake your hair out of it spray on,some hairspray and now you're ready to,go to Hellboy's to tie a tie make sure,the smaller end of the tie is on your,left side then place that behind the,bigger end and wrap the bigger end,around once then again a little half way,pull it through the top gap,then slide it in through the smaller gap,and pull it through now you want to,adjust your tire highway of light and if,your tie has a little placement folder,in the back you can slide the smaller,end of the tie through there,and now you have a tie so that's my,completed himani Granger inspired,Hogwarts costume thank you for watching,and I'll see you in my next video bye,I solemnly swear that I am up to no good

hey guys it's been a P and today I'm,going to be showing you guys how to make,a DIY Hermione Granger costume I'm,really excited because this is my first,video but I'm really happy that you guys,welcome to me into the age of Committee,I'm in the youtube committee with the,long of a couple of my friends just,making the Baker but a poet slash a,gaming and fern and I p21 Kitty gamer,are all my friends that I know from,school so today I'm going to be doing,the idea where Hermione Granger costume,I don't have the costume and it is okay,if you don't cuz I'm improvising I'm,technically mixing and matching I guess,you could say I'm going to show you guys,to do the hair how to make the nails and,the costume the costume is optional you,want to have the original one you guys,could just go buy it at Party City but,I'm showing you guys how to make it then,that'd be way so if you have liked this,video don't forget to give it a thumbs,up thank you guys so much for watching,the intro subscribe and comment on what,video you guys think I should make next,and let's jump right into the video,for the hair I have this hair mousse,like um this part is optional of having,the mousse the mousse it gives it more,of a long-lasting like finished look,which is why I like using it I have the,Garnier food it's tile I've always used,this one for like and shows and stuff,and to curl your hair to make it look,like Hermione it's a great thing to,should use so to start off for the first,part of your hair I split my hair up,into two parts I have two braids which,this part is like this doesn't matter,like if you're it's like I entered the,video with braids doesn't matter at all,but as you can see this is the finished,look of having two french braids on if,you guys want this look then you can go,ahead and skip to part two of my video,which is doing the nails which is,optional to you guys don't have to do,everything just the costume but for the,hair I am actually going to be doing ten,small little braids I will get to that,the extremities of that later,but as you guys can see this is the more,finished look so right now I'm gonna,take,my other side and what you guys want to,do is split your hair into two parts and,if you don't have a mousse that doesn't,matter but I prefer using mousse because,it keeps her hair more constructed and,together longer so as I said before this,is the finished look of two french,braids I like this look too but the,smaller braids gives it a more finished,look to make you look more like Hermione,Granger also known as and Watson if you,know know the mousse put some in your,hand have like a bit a lot get it and,it's gonna feel like shaving cream don't,worry it's not gonna make your hair,white or anything it's meant for that,then you go and you start applying it on,one side of your hair,all over,now you're gonna get another big blob,like this get it spray it down like a,bit and go ahead and apply that to your,hair too on the other side okay just,drop shaving cream,I mean mousse,you guys prefer doing this on a surface,that is okay make sure you get the Moose,on the top side of your ear - I'll give,it a more fuller look and then just go,ahead and put it you want to have your,hair is eventually gonna like dry up as,you can see like the side is like more,like dried up ready than this one is,like a bit more I guess you could say,soaked if you want to make sure some of,the if you don't have waves it's okay if,your hair is normal but I was born with,beach waves like I was born with a lot,of hair so this is what your hair should,look like it should be like not hampered,you're gonna get a little bit oh gosh,like this much just as like a little bit,less I'm gonna get it and just put it as,if it were a little ball of shampoo on,top of your hair and go ahead and spread,that out on the top of your hair and,bring it down in the back too,like this so now that you have your,mousse well spread around your hair it,is time that you make your hair you can,either make your hair into French braids,I do not know how my grandma makes these,braids French braids for me you can,either decide to do the French braids to,give it a like wavier look like this and,if you guys put on the mousse like and,while you're here like not so wavy my,hair like goes back to normal my hair at,heart even curls unless I literally put,on this mousse as my lifesaver Oh Ross,Cleopatra and my hair didn't help at all,so as you can sighs can see now my hair,is like all crazy and kippered so what,you want to make sure is that you have,like this seal like right here in the,back of your hair you want to make sure,that that is it dry you want to get a,little bit of mousse because once you,put put the mousse it might turn into,that but then it turned into a big blob,of shaving cream I like to call it that,so you just get soap and go ahead and,put it behind your hair I'm trying to,see if you guys can see um once you have,that your hair should come out with a,nice slick result so now if you said,your hair your hands are gonna be a bit,slimy just like that make dry off or put,them to here and now you want to comb,through your hair you want to make it,nice and smooth go ahead and make your,braids and let it sit for the entire,time I'll be right back I'm gonna go,make my braids right now hey guys it's,me again I just finished doing my braids,I know I look a little crazy,but this will give me a fuller look I,added the foam so my hair right now is,all sticky and my grandma just finished,doing this for me so now we are going to,move on to step two which is the nails,for this you will need white nail polish,nail polish and clear nail polish the,white and the clear are optional but it,gives a more fuller look let's get to,Part two phase two consists of painting,your nails red white and clear you're,asking me why white are we doing the,stripes or polka dots no we're not if,you paint a white layer under it'll make,your nails look brighter of course you,can skip this step this step is optional,you can also just paint your nails in,one of these two colors no this is what,I did I only painted my nails read it,red and clear it was an entire learned,that is best to use white which will,give it like a more like blasting look,you know like it'll show bit more that I,learned you should do that so I,recommend two coats of white four coats,of red and one coat of clear if you guys,decide to do less that's your choice I,wouldn't put too much white either like,I wouldn't do three coats of white three,coats of red because maybe I really,don't know how nail polish works but I,really hope it doesn't turn pink on you,but you gotta let the white dry before,putting on the right if you guys are,doing this paste a color way of course,if you guys want to paint more layers of,any color this is a viewer choice I just,consist of having like like four to one,or like three go down two to one,I don't know how happy you guys want to,do it but I I think it's better baby two,for one,I really don't know then who let's get,onto phase three which is the dress so,for my costume since it is the,mix-and-match idea this time I have a,really pretty red dress I have these tan,colored skin tight since I do dance I,have this undershirt because it has the,the dress has the rim so it bothers me,then I'm gonna throw in a jean jacket,hit up my converse,and I have pusheen the cat as a prop as,ginger her cat now I have not shown the,wand in this video why do you think her,mind he doesn't have a wand you probably,are asking myself yourself no um it is,because I am making Brenda Soto's wand,I'll leave the description to her Harry,Potter costume idea video so I hope you,guys like this video and I will see you,guys next time,bye don't forget to subscribe and like,peace out

hello everyone and welcome back to my,channel if you're new to this channel,thank you for clicking on to today's,video and if you're coming back to my,channel welcome back you guys and for,those of you who are new hi my name is,emin and in this channel you will find,me guiding you through each step and,showing you guys step by step on how to,create these easy creative inexpensive,diy projects since halloween is around,the corner now as you all have already,read from today's title in today's video,i'm going to be showing you guys step by,step on how to make harry potter's,inspired gryffindor uniform costume,whatever you guys want to call it i'm a,big harry potter fan myself you guys and,so i've grown up watching harry potter,now costumes can get really expensive,you never know you might end up finding,stuff from just your closet or somewhere,you just have to buy just one or two,things to complete a costume and so i'm,gonna be showing you guys a diy,way to make a easy to make,harry potters inspired costume slash,uniform whatever you guys want to call,it so without taking much of your guys's,time let's dive into the video and,without further ado let's begin with the,video,to create this logo the first thing,you're going to need is a printer,microsoft word and the following marker,colors that are displayed on the screen,so i'm going to go on google and type in,harry potter hogwarts logo once i,selected the logo i'm going to copy the,image,and i'm going to paste it on a word,document i'm just going to resize it,once it's been resized next i'm going to,select print,and i'm going to see the size of the,image once i think that looks fine then,i'm going to select print again and then,once it's printed out this is how it,will look like,and then i'm going gonna add the colors,that i had mentioned using my phone as a,reference to see which colors go where,and this is how it will look like once,it's complete,once the logo has been complete,for supplies you will need a long black,cape,like this and fabric tape pieces,next using my graduation cape i'm going,to place the logo just about there using,some fabric tape piece to stick it on,there,also if you don't have that you can try,using hot glue gun or a glue that works,well with fabrics,once that's complete here is the,finished look,so far it's looking pretty good now to,make the tie the first thing you're,going to need is some felt fabric in the,color red yellow paper sewing thread in,the color red a stitching needle a hot,glue gun and tape also a clip,now to make the tie i'm going to first,use a felt fabric,and i'm going to stretch the fabric so,that the fabric gets a little longer,as you can see the difference,next i'm going to fold it in half and,draw out the tie using a marker,once it's complete i'm going to cut it,out and use a red thread also a needle,i have took out a piece of thread and i,put it through the needle's hole and,i've brought the ends of the thread,together and tied it into a knot so it,doesn't open up just like this and when,you're doing this it should be the back,and through the front of the fabric,now once that's complete i left this,little hole just so i can push the,fabric through like this so it's inside,out,and then once that's complete i'm going,to finish off and thread the rest of the,tie,since i don't have yellow paper i'm kind,of out of it i'm just going to use this,paper gift bag and i'm just going to cut,it up so that i could use the paper,remove the strings,now using the reference of the original,tie looking at the stripes they are not,exactly the same so i'm going to slice,the paper using this paper trimmer and,cut them up in different sizes with one,being a little thinner and the other one,being a little thicker than the other,once that's complete next i'm going to,place the paper strips onto the tie just,like this,using the reference of the original tie,and then i'm going to start gluing the,strips onto the tie individually,and finally i'm going to place the clip,behind the tie and as you can see i've,placed a piece of tape so that the tape,is between the clip and it's nicely,secured,and here is the finished look,to make the glasses the first thing,you're going to need is of course,glasses and a black marker,now i had stopped by a dollarama and the,closest thing i could find was these,glasses i know they look a little crazy,but don't worry we'll get those fixed,i'm simply just gonna remove everything,select stones and the feathers on the,glasses and using my fingernails luckily,the feathers and the stones were not,easy to take off what else i think i,would have broken a nail and once that's,complete i'm going to be using a marker,and i'm going to color the glasses to,make them a bit more darker black,and here is the finished look,make the wand you're going to need is a,wooden stick paint brushes hot glue gun,and paints,now to make the wand i'm going to be,using one of my drumsticks and yes i had,taken music class in high school so i,did get to learn how to play drums ps i,wasn't the best but i did enjoy playing,the acoustic guitar electric guitar and,the bass,but that's another story for another,time but let's continue on with our diy,using reference to the harry potter wand,he has this design close to the bottom,of his wand so i had hot glued around,the stick,and once that was dried i had painted,the bottom part black and then the upper,part brown just like his wand wait for,it to dry and here is the finished look,and to complete the look you're just,going to need is a white dress shirt,black dress pants,and for me of course i'm going to be,using heels so i'm going to be wearing,some black heels and it's time for the,reveal,honestly this came out really good,luckily i had the cape already from my,graduation it's a super easy costume to,make you guys and honestly it did not,take me that long to be honest with you,and for cost wise i would say it was,quite inexpensive since i already had,the cape and the pants and the dress,shirt of course and so um like the only,thing i had to purchase was pretty much,the glasses and,going to the craft store and getting the,craft supplies of course,and that was pretty much it you guys and,that is it you guys i hope you all,enjoyed watching today's video if you,guys did don't forget to give this
