Raven Cosplay DIY pt.1

all right coffee check let's do this,matter you say mom um can we get some,oatmeal first all right,this quick haul for my raven costume for,wonder good all right let's see let's,get started at forever 21 I've got a,couple options this use your tights you,sweaty socks so this was $10 this is,just a bodysuit that's black does have,some ruffles on it but it's just a plain,black bodysuit with some roughly sleeves,this will be the body of it,duh cool bodysuit pick up that one and,the neck on the second body seat too,because I wasn't sure how they would fit,all right and then this was the second,one so I'm doing this one-handed cuz,baby life all right so this is the,second one that I've got I'm not sure,which one I'm going to do this one,actually it's a like a tank top bodysuit,but this one actually fits a little bit,better um I tried them on already I,already got him out of at home but,anyway doesn't fits better it's just not,as high cut in the legs I feel more,comfortable in it but this one has the,long sleeves more like Raven so I don't,know which one I'm gonna do yet,we'll see so that's what I got from,forever 21 and then just a plain black,cami because you can't have too many of,these and those are only two 9219 anyway,both these camis the tink cami was eight,dollars and this one was ten dollars not,bad if that works for my costume then,Joey ants excuse me little dude so I,kind of went crazy and bought a bunch of,fabric what I was gonna do is make a,cape and I was gonna do a double line so,it's gonna do it,black on the outside purple on the,inside,so it's gonna make a cape but this is,actually really thick so I don't know,it's kind of stretchy too but I don't,know if I want to wear that much fabric,for a very long cape a hooded cape so,we'll see it might just stick with,purple and just make a purple cape I got,that,so bodysuits cape material I don't,really know how to sew a cape so we'll,see how that goes and then for all the,belts and rolls I got these which I was,kind of and about we'll see how they,turn out,I need to figure out how to put gold,around them so I got a couple of those,because she has some that clasp on the,Cape as well a jewel for the forehead I,think these are like 4 bucks I think,these are like 4 bucks anyway,those acrylic rhinestones let's see that,those and then this is what I actually,got for the belt it's just like them a,rope effect I think it's worth like,jewelry and stuff but we'll see I don't,know if I can try to make this go around,here somehow like glue it on here we'll,see I think that was it anyway that's,let's see how that turns out Barry,you want to go to WonderCon hits wonder,Klein you want to go to WonderCon,who could you be you could be yourself,you could you're that cool oh he's,already Odin Oh duh Oh Dean someone,please make a comic book out of this dog,and his adventures ginger adventure duck,just shameless plug go follow him on,instagram at ginger adventure dog,trying to make a cape I have cut out,paper as a template to work through oh,all right let's see,it is alright is the next morning and,I've got my coffee yet again and I've,managed to cut out the hood obviously I,have to show it a little bit more,rounded here I didn't cut it very round,but I was kind of just going for it so,your head looks out here so this is,where my head's gonna be facing my neck,and body so my head's gonna be facing,out here so I try to make it pretty big,cuz I want it to be pretty floppy and,big so we'll see how that turns out and,maybe should have made this a little bit,bigger we'll see we'll see how that goes,so you know just some light reading a,crack in the track also this is where I,got married I don't know why this is out,here what happened you got off your mat,oh you pushing your mat around,Hulk baby sew up the sides here and I'm,not a professional by any means,so we'll see we'll see how this turns,out another tip - cuz I know you guys,kind of saw me do this last night with,the Cape,I honestly took a rectangular piece of,paper it was easier for me to visualize,how I wanted my Cape and what it would,turn out to be like so I really just,drilled and cut and then I'm like okay,so this would be the Cape part and then,I did the hood if there's nothing in the,camera so then I did the hood looking at,that is great but I'm just like what do,i what are we do with that pick out some,thread,that looks good see close enough,all right cool thanks for trying it out,made this one on the right the shape,isn't bad especially on it cut you kind,of saw it on him shape isn't bad but I,just don't think it's big enough so I,cut another one that's bigger so I can,have that real like draping dog hair,won't make vinius so I can have a real,big drape kind of um this one just just,fits my head which is fine but just with,my head so I want a real big dramatic,hood because I think that's really gonna,make the costume so I'm gonna try and,resell a new one all right,another day another cup of coffee I need,to finish my hood my cape need to finish,my belt,I've got dye in my hair's as manic,panics purple haze yeah it's crunch time,Comic Con na Comic Con WonderCon is in,like 30 hours Soho yikes,let's do it speed cosplay you just sit,there in watch Curious George cuz you're,like a monkey,all right I have sewn a hooded cape just,don't look too closely at this cuz it,really you know I'm not a seamstress I,could barely do this straight line but,I'm pretty happy with how it turned out,I do I probably will trim this or fix,this a little bit still or you know what,just put my hand over it in pictures so,let me go take the dye out of my hair,let me take the dye out of my hair and,then I'll try it on but I'm pretty happy,with how it turned out good line these,two with some salt and that way it just,adds a little extra security so they're,not a sliding back and forth so all this,is glued down so hopefully they stay cuz,that's the most embarrassing part I,don't know if you've ever been to a,cosplay or cosplay it yourself sometimes,things fall off throughout the day so,it's good to keep like a little bottle,of super glue or some velcro I don't,know how many times I have to tell you,like when I'm cosplaying and I have to,tell I'll call my husband and be like,hey can you come get me um some velcro,because my pocket fell off or my button,fell off and it's just embarrassing,so just make sure everything's nice and,secure so you don't have any mishaps,like like I do all the time so,okay,ooh

Raven - Teen Titans - DIY COSPLAY SHOP

we're gonna help you learn how to turn,yourself into your favorite characters,who do you want to do today this is DIY,cosplay shop,what's up guys my name is Elizabeth rage,and today this is going to be our first,Teen Titans field on DIY cosplay shop,super excited we're going to start with,something that I've already done before,we're gonna do Raven let's take a look,at her costume from the animated series,Raven is a bunch of different outfits,but this is definitely one of my,favorites it's simple straightforward,and it's really really awesome so let's,take a look she has a purplish bluish,cloak with a hood a black leotard a belt,and brooches with red orbs that are,surrounded in gold and her skin is white,or grey what we don't see in this,picture is that Raven has purple hair so,we'll also be using a wig to achieve,that look as well it's a pretty,straightforward bill but what I'm gonna,do is I'm going to add a little bit more,texture to this costume just to give it,a more realistic look whenever I do,cosplays that are from an animated,series or an anime I like to use,textured fabrics in order to make it,look like the live-action version of,that character all right so let's start,with the hand jams brooch and belt now,the first time I did this cosplay mine,were made out of mason jar lids and,Christmas balls that's a totally awesome,way to do it it looked really cool in,pictures and no one really knew that,that's what it was made of unless it,came up really really close and was like,oh shoot those are mason jar lids and,christmas balls for this time around I,want to make this look a little bit more,like an enchanted item so I found these,really awesome red acrylic flat bat gems,online a lot of people use these for,Steven universe cosplays and just like,stick them on their belly button and,stuff because they are self-adhesive and,I cut super super lucky in the fashion,district and found these belt rings that,are already gold that fit around these,gems perfectly this is going to save me,so much time and I'm just going to take,some worbla and secure it in the back,and be able to attach it to our chain,and to whatever we're going to use for,to attach them to our hands which I,haven't decided yet but um we'll see how,it goes,already so this is essentially what,we're going for I have my gem attached,to the ring using black worbla and some,jump rings that I had leftover from The,Enchantress build to do this I peel the,adhesive off the back of the gem and,also applied some peel and stick cut out,into a circle as well to my circles of,worbla now black warpless does,really stick very well to anything but,itself which is why we're going to use,the peel and stick to make sure that it,stays on to the middle and then press it,down to make sure it stays nice and,tight so the peel and stick tape which,is super super strong it's what's,helping us to attach the ring to the,worbla itself and then to attach the,gems to the belt I made these little D,rings out of jump rings that I had,leftover from The Enchantress build just,by taking a piece of black worbla and,folding it through onto itself I,measured it out against the sides of the,brooch and just covered it in blackboard,but in order to secure it down because,blackboard low really does like to stick,to itself,so right now I'm just cutting out my,pattern I found a leotard pattern that,already had paneling in it so it's going,to make our contrast fabrics look really,awesome together,the last step is the cake there's a,couple different ways to do this for me,I just drew out a gigantic half circle,on my fabric I found this really awesome,fabric that's two-toned it's blue on the,inside and purple on the outside,I also added dart so that my cape sits,nicely on my shoulders but that's,totally optional and you can also just,cut off the corner of your 1/2 circle,and gather it when you attach your hood,now speaking of the hood that's the last,step we have I cut out four pieces like,this and added a little bit of a point,to the front I'm also going to go ahead,and line my hood I'm not lining the Cape,because I want it to flow really nicely,and the fabric is already two-toned but,for the hood I'm going to mimic the same,two-toned look but make sure I line it,so that everything lays nice and flat,this way you can also stick a magnet,inside of your hood and inside of your,wig this will keep your hood on when,you're moving around and it's super,super helpful during conventions,thank you guys so much for watching this,video I had a blast turning myself what's up guys this is movie mod I made,of my oh wait I'm supposed to be way,less enthusiastic hi what's up okay I'm,so stoked anyways you might be thinking,why are you dressed like some crazy goth,purple haired lady,well today I'm Raven from Teen Titans,we're celebrating Teen Titans go to the,movies that's right and today we are,going to be creating Raven spells out of,some fun things you probably wouldn't,think could be used for cosplay other,than like being a crazy lady we're gonna,do some goo good too much fun anyways,let's see who's all in here are you guys,super super super stoked to be a to go,see the movie like I want to know are,you guys excited to see this or here,here's another one,which cartoon movie the stems from a,cartoon and went to the theaters as your,favorite do you remember do you member,like The Wild Thornberrys,Rugrats movie all that stuff which one,was your favorite and which Teen Titan,is a favor to want to know so let's see,who I was in the check we have so many,people with Doc and Tasha and Clint and,wow so many people here hello from Ohio,Laura and Justine says she is so excited,are you so excited for this movie who's,your favorite Teen Titan for the Raven,this mine is actually Starfire but we,are making Raven felt today so that's,review alright guys so we have these,like oversized freaking googly eyes you,can find them at most craft stores like,Joanne's or Michaels or probably Walmart,if you really wanted to and we are going,to paint them I have six of them here,you can use as many as you need to,create a full belt they're so cute,they're just gonna stare at me I feel,kind of bad painting them because it's,like they look like they might have some,personalities my lame father,Trigon possessing my googly eye friends,perfect God did I nail it hate my dad,zone just like your dad that you hate,hola guys it's just me las voices are on,point somebody was like I'm here to help,comment and and yella Jess to make her,nervous you,could get a scratch-and-sniff card,remember and one throughout the movie it,would be like scratch this one and then,use caching you can smell along with the,movie,smell-o-vision yeah Anita yes and it's,never happened since and I'm real salty,about it what the hell,that's stink that's crazy,um no but then the first movie when they,get lost in the reptile Rovio ah man my,feelings I was just like oh this babe,this new baby,he's making Tommy so mad and Tommy just,didn't know what to do Tommy it was just,not about dill dill dill pickle you know,one second one the second one way he,screams no at the wedding,Wow in Paris or something all right,Carolyn says that she still thinks,spongebob needs a new movie I liked the,one oh my gosh whoa Henry says a Wild,Thornberrys live-action okay that would,be bomb but who would play Nigel would,it just be Tim Curry the Tomb Raider,playing Idol I like a guy who plays,Koran and Voltron okay yeah he's like a,redhead he's in the flight of the,conchords and stuff he'd be good Nigel,does he have the nose no but that could,be that has to be a prosthetic all right,guys,we are gonna paint our googly eyes,this is really sad because I can still,see the googly eye through here he's,just staring at me as he dies I'm sorry,help me to help your buddy,yes my coach so definitely take it some,red paint and painting we'll probably,have to do at least two layers of this,paint so that our googly eye friends,don't stare at us sadly there's bone fab,haha Nikolas said that his movie that,was a cartoon that turned into a movie,Last Airbender ooh Last Airbender the,live-action one oh let's not talk about,that we're going to say I don't know,that's what he meant I didn't like that,one,Harry wants a shout out who Harry what's,going to do to love the original Teen Titans and,I dig the comic bucket a lot now we we,actually turned Greg cite the real-life,Beast Boy the voice actor from he's,going to be splay during comic-con for,AMC Theaters he have like a little sneak,peek of what we did on the comic-con,floor with him a little bit later but,during that time he was saying if you're,a big fan of the original Teen Titans,series you definitely want to stick,around during Teen Titans go to the,movies oh yeah I'm gonna go a little,throwback maybe some announcements,happening Oh some surprises in store,we'll see that would be bomb let's see,Roy says the Iron Giant would be a Lee,Lick blitz live-action I agree I love,the I enjoy did you ever see the wiring,dreadlock I did Vin Diesel his best role,the field I actually really enjoyed the,iron Giants inclusion and ready player,one that was a cool way to get a taste,of it you know like know what the live,actually could look like a nice little,throwback yeah that was a Brad Bird the,guy who did the thing yeah,The Incredibles - recently The,Incredibles - all right,second coat is on these first two nope I,have to do a third good thing it's dry,and pretty pretty let me call it quickly,he-man doc says he man I like that human,Darius has a live-action gravity falls,movie I'm not actually that familiar,with gravity falls but I've heard it's,pretty cool,see umar says she actually cosplays,Raven that's awesome,Jesse and Chester loves Beast Boy cuz,he's such a sweetie oh yeah mama that's,you best beast boy doc lone wolf says he,wants to see a Voltron live-action don't,worry that would be cool Voltron it's,too late to quit - let - wait no quit it,let's see some other ones in there,Carolyn Manson says love love love,Sailor Moon oh that could be a cool one,the other moon would be good if they,were you did it in like kind of a dark,twist on it,yeah be neat or somebody in the chat was,a Ruth says Rainbow Brite Rainbow Brite,Rainbow Brite she has to save all the,trailer like there were a few things I,was like that's cool and then there are,few things like how are they gonna deal,with that you know one of my biggest,fears about it is that Beast Boy was,only gonna turn the green when he's,about to turn into an animal or that he,only turns green and takes the,characteristics of the animal without,transforming oh I hope you transform,it's a very ambitious like between,Starfire's powers yeah Ravens powers a,lot of these boys like it's kind of,ambitious for a TV show,yeah surprised I didn't give us a like a,film but also this is gonna be on the DC,Universe right like it's not even gonna,be on TV,yeah it's a better live streaming,service so we'll see like soon how that,affects the numbers I kind of like the,horror element too Ravens powers oh yeah,I dig that,so I dig the seriousness yeah for sure,it reminded me though a lot of like the,New Mutants trailer that we got a little,bit back which one the New Mutants,oh yeah yeah there's a little bit of a,darker take on everything we have some,profanity in the trailer yes already so,it's obviously not for children,mm-hmm which I think made a lot of,children bummed out but they get teen,time to go to the movies there you go,kids go see Teen Titans go to the movies,if you're sadly wide twenty-seventh the,other Teen Titans is not for you so are,you gonna dress up and fold Beast Boy,makeup when you go oh I don't know about,that having face paint on is a kind of,commitment a sweaty commitment I,wouldn't know I don't have any face,paint on right now I was gonna say I'm,surprised you didn't get any Sun out,there no I'm a con this weekend like I,figured I'd come home with a tan but I,came home just like way paler you're so,pale sacred verse and I guess that's,what happens when you have no like you,know when you're a little solace at,times yeah I have no soul no actually,she was an Ultima son,I actually got a really gnarly sunburn,it's not fun we've had to adjust all the,cameras to compensate she's actually,bright pink right now bright pink but I,left Comic Con it was so fun worth the,sunburn yep so worth the sunburn what,was your favorite thing that you did at,Comic Con law honestly with a favorite,thing that I did was seeing all the,Alita battle angel like sneak peeks,uh-oh are you excited for that film I am,I am just like it was really interesting,and they also had the director Robert,Rodriguez come out in John Landau,produced it with the cast so there was,like a little Q&A and I'm I'm a sucker,for like any of that behind the scenes,like POA kind of stuff but it was like,going to a panel that I didn't know was,a panel it was really cool what about,you you did a lot you were you worked,the booth for a really cool company that,we've actually partnered with kotobukiya,they're really cool figures he also did,shows for us I did and I were also,covered by snakes I was covered in,snakes I went to the Tomb Raider,installation that they had down there in,the Gaslamp District and went in with,everybody just like oh this is going to,be fun can't wait to check it out and,then they're like okay Jess do you want,to do the snake part and I was like what,me okay I don't really like snakes and,then the director said oh well we set up,all of these installations here all of,these little trials so that you can,become the Tomb Raider yourself face,your fears and become the 2-meter and,once they said that I was like okay well,I'm not about to be a weiner right now,I love Lara Croft I'm gonna be the Tomb,Raider and I got covered in snake that's,great but I didn't need a bug that is,just as motto don't be a wiener don't be,a wiener anything in the world but a,wiener Paul and hare wort from Australia,says please do your best students raven,impersonation my best raven in person,I'm really more of a Starfire myself not,Raven,and my voice is really high-pitched it's,hard okay then the smile,Azarath metrion zinthos,as rap made of mine synthos I wish I,could Azarath metrion zinthos these,things to be done just waiting for this,top coat to dry keep going until you,can't see the googly eyes staring up at,you from underneath and being all sad,we're gonna shove the pain deep down,under layers and layers of paint just,dean says you look like a star fire I,like star fire actually my favorite Teen,Titans character is black fire but my,personality is much more like Starfire,than any of them,because I'm real dumb I wasn't expecting,that,yeah I was gonna say cuz I'm so happy,all the time but I just um I'm very,dizzy now I know that you are kind of a,collector Oh nerdy things let's call,them artifacts just so it sounds more,like you know I have plenty of artifact,yes you have so many nerdy artifacts so,many what did you buy did you buy,anything exciting from Comic Con this,year I bought a lot of artwork mystical,Scrolls to hang up on my wall yeah I'm,just comic art I went by the Jay Scott,Campbell booth that went by the Adam,Hughes food,some of my favorites were there but I,didn't get a lot of like physical stuff,this year mostly cuz I didn't want to,carry it all back I tried to get the one,thing that I wanted to get that I did,not was the Red Hood pack from Funko,because Funko was crazy and exclusives,are crazy and people are not tastic yep,about exclusives at comic-con I really,wanted the Matthew Patel demon hipster,chick Funko pop from from Scott Pilgrim,yeah there was absolutely no chance they,they don't even give you a chance if you,just walk up ya know like stand by line,it's only if you got like a thing,so I guess eBay is gonna be our friend,at this point LA I'm going I'm searching,hey babe I need it because that's me has,everybody in chat doin got some,questions here yeah Kendra wants to know,who do you think is a better better Lara,Croft the original or than you Oh Angie,you like Angie Angelina Jolie from,elementary school me watching in the,theaters she was my inspiration she was,like wow this is it this is the most,perfect badass amazing woman and like,before that I had played the games and I,just loved it so much Angelina forever,perfect physically she's just she's it I,want forever,she's it ya know so when I saw that a,movie I was real skeptical because I was,like mmm,Angelina is my favorite and I thought,that Alicia did a pretty good job for,the new timeline but Angie's always,gonna be number one in my heart always,but if they ever wanted to recast needed,a new tomb Raider,I'd do it Amy oh you I would do it you,what aren't you already a Tomb Raider on,the Internet,I am I think you are I am you should,tell people to find it because yes they,could see you we use a British accent,and guns we actually did a cool Tomb,Raider video with Eva calm if you go to,youtube and go to airsoft EVIC Eve pick yeah I use now Brienne,Larsson Lipson wants to know where you,got your shirt oh my shirt I painted it,myself,I got the base shirt from Target and,then I just painted the letters on,myself,easy peasy thank you very much for the,question I'm glad that you liked it and,I'm glad that you get it because all my,roommates were like what are you putting,on that shirt what are those words what,do they mean you're crazy,you should expect it by now,all right it looks pretty good there,pretty opaque can't really see them,staring into my soul anymore which is,great okay so shiny so now we're gonna,start painting the little gold faces,make sure you put your cap back on your,paint because that's important with my,mods protip movie mods pro tip brought,to you by movie mods now we're gonna,take some gold paint and we're gonna,paint along the basis mm-hmm I had a,brush in here,then he'll might be on the floor,somewhere well we'll use this one this,one will be great Wow yeah shirt making,maybe someday I'll make a shirt on movie,mods alright so we're just gonna take,our gold paint,I'm very carefully go along the edges,be careful make that line nice and crisp,just be like a potato chip that didn't,happen,we're fine potato chips can you tell her,I'm hungry I've had lunch yet because,you feast on darkness I feast on the,souls of my victims yes and stuff making,my father proud,panting forever so very much singing,about what I'm doing and the Teen Titans,go,spirit winners winners six favorite song,we,be careful when you're doing this at,home try to wet the red paint dry first,because then you'll get them crossing,streams like I just did and that's not,fun for anybody have you ever done a,full Raven cosplay ready I have never,done a full Raven cosplay I've never,done a full Teen Titans cosplay really,yes what I really want to though oh my,god I guess not huh you need to do all,of them Tara,Starr I don't like Tara,you don't like Tara sorry we already did,it that's all as no I'm not I'm not a,Tara fan at all,I love Starfire I love black fire and I,love Raven black fire we'll probably the,first one that I do Tony says okay now,we are watching some now I know,the condescended so you're probably in,like rests mode I am always thinking,about cosplay as though and I'm gonna be,finishing up my cool version of dark,Supergirl that I didn't get done for,comic-con it's gonna do that one I'm,gonna be doing some cool x-men step soon,today is inspiring me maybe I'll start,working on my black fire cuz I have all,the fabric,do you like the Supergirl TV show I am,NOT the biggest fan of the TV show I,watched the first few episodes it was,just not on board but I've heard that it,gets better,yeah I know they did a season 5 trailer,at comic-con and,I didn't watch it either watch the,trailers for arrow and flash but not for,Supergirl because Supergirl is not my,favorite I'm just such a big mega fan,that it takes a lot to please me yeah,I'm one of those fans when it comes with,Supergirl not a lot of things but,definitely Supergirl I feel it I feel it,Simo wants to know what about Robin what,is your opinion on the man Robin Robin,I like Robin just fine I love all the,Robins that have ever came to be,including Stephanie brown boys gets,forgotten a short run poor Stef but Dick,Grayson is my favorite Robin scene and,then Tim Drake after that same I love,that they all have their own like,personalities and their own things they,bring to the table yeah we're like dick,is super acrobatic and great at Friday,and then Tim is like more like a,detective and uses his brain and clues,and stuff to figure things out Batman,brain yeah it's tiny dick Hey,I mean Tim Jason tada actually I've been,really digging lately just like the more,I'd like look in doing he's that Robin,for all us emo kids yeah so really just,hate life and work may be killed Buicks,we're killed by the Joker at some point,but I like him I like that he pushes tradition is,we always go to egg sandwiches right by,the theater in Burbank which is one in,Burbank is oh and then we go to,Starbucks to get coffee because we're,old people and we'll fall asleep in the,movie hahaha,and then we go to the movie and,sometimes get either like a sour candy,like sour patch kids or something yeah,yeah,watermelon ones are regular or maybe,popcorn at the sandwich didn't fill us,up,I remember I was very proud of myself,but one time in high school my friend,and I went to the movie theater and we,snuck in a hole in and out meal each way,to the theater and got the drink in my,sleeve tucked into my hoodie,the fries were in a bag because I got,animal fries in the hoodie and then,where do you put the burger cuz the,separate bag put it in my hood put the,hood on oh my god I totally could smell,it oh my god but I got that in and out,and I watched that movie delicious,things that weirdest thing I've snuck,into the theater was yogurt yogurt yep,baby was there was it yogurt yogurt no,it was yogurt like like from the yogurt,land or something oh thanks to the cups,of yogurt I just stack them in my,backpack and put it on see when you're a,lady and you carry a purse it's real,easy yeah to get snacks in the theater,but like I'm always salty because my,hometown theater growing up always said,if it's something that we don't sell,here you can bring it in so like I could,bring my Starbucks in the theater,because they don't stand so coffee there,that's amazing,and but then now theatres are always,like you can't break anything eat food,like I'm already spending like $20 on a,movie ticket why don't you just let me,bring in my own candy I think Julian,just beat us he says I sneak KFC into,the movie I've snuck okay I've seen to,them a bitter one hey MC I'd like to,think that you got a whole like eight,piece like family meal in there and then,I want to say like yeah like the giant,bucket was like the sides too amazing,just have like a bunch of kids and each,one of them has to like sneak one of the,pieces of the meal in,but like one of my favorite theaters is,definitely the Dinan theater yeah where,you get to like just order your food and,they bring it to you while you're,watching your movie I honestly have,never done a dying dinner oh my god it's,amazing because you can be lazy as heck,and also eat while you're watching movie,but my only word of caution is don't see,a movie you need to like focus on,because there's constantly waiters,running around around you and like,talking to you and stuff and that's a,little frustrating and sometimes when,you're eating a meal it's a little more,distracting than if you're just eating,snails and like what are they even serve,at a dining theater like chicken tenders,and hotdogs or is it like a full menu of,salads what montrezl rice bowls like,cheesecake factory but appetizers yeah,like they go hard you can have alcohol,brought to you so our friend who's that,alcohol and her favorite yeah she's a,booze you're good go to the Dinan ooh,Tony Bauer says his friends snuck in,wine once oh did they get hot yeah,Lauren says I brought an entire sushi,train to the theater once when we had my,dad's giant backpack and smuggled in our,California rolls and shrimp rolls that's,amazing,that's classy that's like a nice dinner,out but like now I want sushi,yes Oh Brittany Wilson also says I snuck,in two boxes of sushi two sodas three,bags of candy and a thing of chicken,nuggets,you did a food tour before you went to,that movie theater that is pre how do,you do it that's pretty awesome man I'm,like starting to feel like a total,wiener now yeah are you like oh you're a,good burger in No,no see I'm always like paranoid evil we,suck the yogurt in that like somebody's,gonna see us and Raven Costume / Cosplay Tutorial

hi so I recorded a few videos it's the,last one but then I was like I don't,want to post those and Halloween is,coming up so I thought I was gonna make,a video about how I'm making my,Halloween costume,I'm not actually like making it I'm,really just taking pieces from like,different places and putting them,together to make a beautiful raven from,Teen Titans costume I want to tell you,guys like where I got everything and oh,there is one things I have to like to,myself so I will show you how I'm doing,that it's a very cheap way because I,like to save money so first from my,Raven costume I decided to get a leotard,so usually like you know you could just,get like a bodysuit she wears a,long-sleeve turtleneck bodysuit slash,leotard but because I'm a dancer I,thought like I might as well spend ten,more bucks to get like a nice leotard I,can actually wear for like class and,stuff so I got this capacity Leah turn,its turtleneck has the sleeves I got,this leads hard from Amazon for I,believe 25 bucks but it's like worth it,because I'm gonna use like I take ballet,twice a week so I'm gonna be using it a,lot so I thought yeah like might as well,splurge so Capeci leotard from Amazon,the second thing I got which is very,important to the Raven costume they got,a cape it's very beautiful it's like a,velvety it even has like the same hood,that she has so this cloak or whatever I,got from Amazon as well I believe I got,it for $20 something like that I have to,figure out more costumes that I can use,this hint for the next few years with my, I didn't spend money for on it,or I'll just like resell with auntie pop,make my money back next I got this belt,and it's white right now about her belt,is red so the cheap ass I am,I'm painting the the little pearls I'm,gonna paint them with a red nail polish,I make it red and I'm gonna show you,guys how I'm doing that this belt I got,on a website post she in I believe,that's how it's pronounced and it was,super cheap is literally like no more,than eight bucks I believe I got these,boots are like thigh-highs it's from,Cheyenne as well it's basically like a,heel and then they attached some tight,materials,it and it goes up to your thighs very,sexy this was kind of my audition,because I thought it'd be really liked,it made the costume look really cool it,would make my legs look longer because,sometimes I feel like it's awkward it's,like your entire leg is showing but it,cuts off at the ankle so yeah guys are,gonna make my legs look longer and,honestly also keep me warm,I bought these shrine face gems and what,I'm gonna do is I'm gonna cut them out,like I think I'll take the bigger ones,for each night and you know like use,them as the little face gem that she has,and I got this from the doll skill store,I'm gonna include a link in the,description of like everything I got,yeah let's get into painting the belt so,this is my miniature crafts station I,just put a little box in like a thing,over it like a towel that I've already,ruined with your die so I'm like what,I'm perfect if I get nail polish on it,what I'm gonna do is use the belt,obviously because I'm painting it I'm,gonna paint the belt red put the tape on,the gold parts so that I don't get right,on it let's do this,so what I've done on this first one is I,taped all the gold part off and now I'm,gonna paint it,this is just one coat and it's like a,really bright red I got some on the gold,okay the next beat I'm gonna be a little,more meticulous cuz this one I got a bit,of gold that I can just put this one in,the back that's like a really nice,bright red I think it's gonna be perfect,yeah matches like really well I'll see,how this just looks with one coat,because it's like that looks really nice,I think I'm really excited see how this,is gonna turn out this second one I did,a much better job like taping it's like,a lot of day but I did a much better job,taping off the gold part so I'm hoping,that one looks neater that took me a,good five minutes but I have,many more together I look perfect so I,don't even mind on to the next one,I got a tiny bit of paint on like part,of the chain of the gold part but what,I'm gonna do,it's got a nail polish remover and,hopefully that'll work,I'll do that like after we do everything,I feel like I should be able to develop,a better system like maybe I should just,tape everything then like paint paint,paint or if I should just keep going,like this this makes me feel like I'm,doing a bit more progress or there than,just like hey being in taping and taping,because taping is definitely the most,like boring part I like the painting,part but I'll do one see more than see,so far I have three other 16 let's go,I'm gonna take a mini break to mention,but I know there are other ways to make,the belt like I've watched too many,videos and I myself am NOT an arts and,crafts expert nor am I like good at,sewing or I don't know any of that type,of stuff so I was like I can paint like,everyone can paint so that's what I'm,doing okay now I'm like nearing the end,I finally have like a method so I'm,gonna share that method with you cuz I,was just kind of like experimenting,before and this is like kind of a,tutorial so I should probably tell you,what I'm doing so basically like I cut,the strip of tape so I cut them into,three pieces and I found some sticking,them up here so I can like cut as much,as I need and kind of like a tiny little,piece and then what I've been doing well,this one's a little bit there's a little,um like indent like there's a space in,between the Pearl and the gold part like,the outside I've been kind of like get,this in that hole first and then,pressing down that completely covers the,gold apart basically I've been repeating,that like putting the tape all around,the little pearl trying to get it in,that space so that it doesn't touch the,gold at all,I forgot to mention I'm using my nail,till I kind of press it in between like,you know the pearl on the gold part I,would definitely recommend playing some,music cuz like this is a very repetitive,and trying to boring process I mean it's,easy but it is boring what I've been,sitting here for like an hour now doing,this and I'm almost finished,I'd also recommend if you have your,nails painted US or something and like,the only got paint on your hands use,gloves,my dog is scratching herself and moving,the whole bed so that's why it's like,this would probably be easier to if you,had like tweezers or something and I do,I would likely really just don't care,enough to get them especially at this,point but like you want to use tweezers,that probably will help you be more,accurate and applying the tape so this,piece like you see I pressed it in like,right there and like you can see with,all these I just cut up a bunch of tape,and I'm like putting it in that little,hole part and obviously I'm painting it,with nail polish so now I fully wrapped,it around there are little spaces and,what I've been doing is like if I see,the spaces are too big I like apply a,little more tapes off by like a few,where I can see the gold still you know,cover those little pieces and then I'll,put the nail polish on,okay so I've covered it that one take my,little nail polish I bet most likely,will paint would be better for this but,it does the job you know so oh really,here and now what I do is I like to kind,of paint like the top part and then I go,back in on the sides and I like do this,little thing where I like shuffle it,down so it gets like in the cracks after,I hit it and all the cracks I kind of,like do one more like brush over,everything so it's like even all around,a man I check one last time I see that,there was like no white showing,I'm finally finished my dog came to,celebrate with me so that took me a,little over an hour but I did like keep,stopping and stuff,let's look this is the belt of course,have to take off the tape hopefully the,first one like should be dry by now so,I'll try to take it off huh she's joy,okay she's a tiny bit sloppy honestly,you can't really tell from a distance so,it's like fine okay so I'm gonna wait,for this to dry a bit put everything,else on and do a little reveal mm-hmm I,put on the whole costume I'm wearing,that boots,I believe that my face yeah so it came,out really well like basically I did is,I put the chain in the back cuz like she,obviously doesn't have a chain they made,it a bit thick cuz she has it like kind,of you know like slanted over her hips,and stuff from a distance it looks like,I bought it like that honestly I could,go back and like use nail polish remover,but I honestly don't feel like I need to,as you can see so I'm back to and I got,the smallest size of Cape available I,love this um and it like with my heels,it's just above the floor it's perfect,yeah I'm gonna straight my hair do all,the makeup and stuff and I will be fully,transformed into Raven I hope this is,helpful thanks for Diy Raven Cosplay PLUS SUPERCON FOOTAGE

fifteen seconds,hey guys it's not in welcome to the,medina show and on today's video I'm,going to show you how you can transform,into Raven from the Teen Titans and in,this video I'll show you everything you,need to do this cosplay from making the,famous who Ravens belt to where I got my,club from so how I did my hair and,everything you need to perfect this,cosplay so I'll catch you later,Azarath metrion zinthos,and now we're going to start creating,Raven spoke so what you're going to need,is the large scissor and a smaller,scissor for precise cutting and also,you're going to need a soda can of,course so now what we're going to do is,we cut that sort of came right in half,because we hate soda so much we just,want to cut the soda can so now you're,just gonna cut that in half and you,should be left with the bottom half of,the soda can and some water fell out,great but just gonna cut down a line to,the end of the soda can and this is what,you should have and we're going to use,that smaller scissor to get rid of the,whole soda can label you should not have,the color expose of the soda can so if,you have a purple can you should not,have any purple showing so we're just,gonna cut all that off until we just get,the bottom of this soda can,and now for the next step you're going,to paint the entire middle circle of,your soda can in red paint try not to,get the edges because that will be for,the gold paint and you need one layer of,red paint because it was a pretty opaque,color and for the gold paint I used the,edge of a foam brush because it was,easier to paint around the rim of the,camp you're going to need to do this,carefully so you don't mix the two,colors and for the gold paint you're,going to need at least two to three,thick the layers of paint or it will be,patchy so carefully get around the rim,of the tan and make sure there's no,silver spots exposed,and now I've completely finished,painting each soda can bottom and now,you let these dry for about two to three,hours,and this is the chain pretty much,completed all I had to do was glue gun,each of the soda can bottoms to the,chain and all of them are completely dry,and I only need to use about six of the,soda can bottoms but that does depend on,your body's measurements and the length,of your chain and the distance between,each of them is about four fingers and,also the chain should not fit to snugly,on your body has to be sort of loose,because it does appear kind of loose on,Raven and to make mine just a little,longer I did use an accessory sender,which can be purchased at Walmart or,pretty much any store and this is my,finished belt it's literally looks so,good if I could just like cry right now,this turned out super good,and to attach the jewel on women's,clothes ideas and use one for painted,sunshine bottoms and I hot-glued a,safety pin to the back of one and I just,pinned it on to the cloak and this is,what it looked like,for the matching arm cuffs for raven,sleeves i just took two pieces of felt,that were the same size and same color,that matches my cloak and made sure that,they fit around my wrist and I did this,for both hands and on the day of that I,wore the costume I just hot glue gun,them on it could also saw them but I,only needed it for one day so I just,glued it in for Ravens hair I found a,half wig that was the perfect color and,all I had to do was just trim it because,it came really long and I cut it that,match Ravens hairstyle and a half wave,is perfect because Raven sort of has a,weird shaped hairline and it sort of,mimic that and to complete Ravens look I,got my hope on Amazon between 99 it,comes in the color purple I've also got,the stockings on Amazon for $8.99,and to complete the book I just you take,over a lipstick and I use red lipstick,on my forehead,the Ravens tool

choking what's up guys so my leotard for,Raven came in the mail today and if,you're gonna do what I did and order one,I suggest you order one from a dance,website or a gymnastics website because,there may be for you to move in they're,made from breathe in and they feel,wonderful it was what $20 for this,turtleneck leotard,I've been swapped out the belts I,searched for the longest time to find a,good tutorial to make Ravens belt and I,couldn't but I did find one on tumblr,and since I've been amateur I can't do,resin casting yet so I'm gonna make a,tutorial talking about Halle made the,gems without doing that and they look,fine to me,so everything I did get for this belt,you can get at michaels the first thing,i did was i went to the jewelry section,and I got this 36 inch chain chain even,though my waist is at 36 inches if you,look at pictures of Raven you can see,that develops slightly means off of her,ways I made sure to get one else bigger,than my waist size so that I had,something to work with this chain is,like two dollars I think two or three,dollars is really cheap next thing I did,was I went to the sewing section and I,got these snap-on grommets they were her,nine or ten dollars which is a lot for,me but I read,that you could substitute these with I,think there are both plastic washers or,something you can get them at Walmart,you can get them at Home Depot and they,are 2 or 3 dollars rather than the full,10 since I couldn't find old vomits I,got the silver ones and then if you go,into the payment section grab some old,metallic spray paint that's what I did,and they look really good and actually,spray them up close rather than from a,bar because that's going to give you the,metallic finish that you want rayvin,actually has extends on her belt and,then she also has one gem holding up her,cloak so after that I went into the,pottery section and I got this fimo soft,modeling clay they're two dollars a,packet I think and I only used three to,make one gem I only used about this much,so I didn't even use half I made three,gems with one packet and since she has,six gems on her belt you'll need two,packets then I also made the Pope he's,then the two hand pieces that she has I,could not find a good rhinestone for her,chakra piece so I used to play off to,make that and it was great,since we are using play rather than,resin casting it's gonna be a little,more gold and you're gonna actually want,so I coated it with clear nail polish I,noticed that it wasn't the exact shade,of red that I wanted for Annabelle and I,coated it with a red nail polish and,then after not dried I put the clear,nail polish over that I thought they,weren't going to turn out that good but,and so I'm sure you're wondering how did,she get it to stay on the grommets well,if you haven't gotten any already I,suggest you invest in these six thousand,Lu crafting crafting it's really good,and it's a much better alternative and,if you want to use poppy,because if you were to use hot glue it,would probably fall out and not stay,very well especially if you're going to,a con and moving around and doing,whatever whatever so after the gems have,dried and you're ready to glue it and,just take the blue and put it around the,edges because a little bit does go a,long way you can also use it for when it,comes to boot covers to keep it on the,boot or I don't know and other uses,which I'm unaware of I'm going to show,you guys how I made the gems how I,actually got them to look the way she,did,I wanted to make it a little bigger for,the flow than for the belt you can kind,of I'm sure there is a difference I,promise,then after you finished the gems,completely go ahead and take the chain,and then using the e6000 they were just,gonna stick it on there I haven't done,it yet obviously but if it didn't work I,wouldn't be posting this video so there,you have it I think that's it I'm gonna,leave the leap down below for the,original tutorial so I'm done that's and,that's the conclusion of this video I'm,going to go do the interim them so,goodbye,Choki Choki over and out

Sew With Me - Teen Titans Raven

hey friends welcome back,so it's that spooky time of year again,and we're still,in lockdown unfortunately that means,there's no conventions no gatherings no,meetups no cosplay shenanigans of any,sort,normally i'd be working on a cosplay for,my next convention and i wouldn't have,the motivation to work on a halloween,costume,but this year is different so i'm gonna,make raven from teen titans,uh she's been on my list for a really,long time i grew up watching teen titans,as a kid,and now i'm finally gonna make her,costume raven's character design,consists of a leotard a hooded cape,little boots and a really fashionable,belt it's a simple enough design that i,think i can do it in a day so let's get,to it,i'm using a high gloss pvc fabric for,the leotard two-tone taffeta for the,cape and a navy blue spandex for the,boot covers so i blame the matrix,underworld and michelle pfeiffer's,catwoman for my obsession with,latex-like materials,so i'm using a bodysuit pattern that i,previously drafted but both mccall's and,simplicity do have bodysuit patterns,that i would recommend,i'm gonna sew all my seams leaving the,bottom open so i can shimmy into it,after one last test fit i'm going to go,ahead and serge my seams,so we want this leotard nice and tight,super tight because if,it's not like you're re-experiencing,your birth,every time you get into it it's not,tight enough,it's now time to sew the sleeves in the,collar,here's a little nifty trick use baby,powder to keep your fabric from sticking,under the presser foot when you're using,a pvc fabric,now all i have left is to hem the leg,holes add snaps and the zipper,and here's the completed bodysuit,moving right along to the cape i'm using,the pattern simplicity 5794,i'm cutting four pieces of each pattern,just because i'm using it for my lining,as well,as for the hood pattern i kind of just,winged it and kind of hoped for the best,i also used a medium weight interfacing,to really capture raven's hood shape,to finish the cloak i serged the hood,and added a snap to close it,so i don't want to mess with body paint,on my hands so we're just gonna do a,turkey style glove,i'll be dying both the tights and the,gloves in my little witch's brew of,black synthetic rit dye,just two capfuls,time for boot covers i just pinned,spandex around the boot and traced a,pattern,easy peasy just sewing a taffeta cups,for the boots to tie into the cape,raven's boots are the same material as,her cape but using spandex just makes,everything easier so this is the way to,tie it all together,just need to remove these wefts and the,wig is good to go,time to pour some resin and we'll make,the gem,we'll let these cure overnight and we'll,get back to it in the morning,backing the gems with a metallic,cardstock to give it a little extra,oomph,placing curtain rings around the gems to,finish the look,and we're going to use some e6000 to,attach it to this,gold leather alrighty so we're done,we finished it in just a little over a,day just because the gems had to cure,overnight,but we've assembled everything we've got,our cape we've got our leotard we've got,our boots and everything,all is left is to get dressed and defend,the city,so,alrighty thank you so much for watching,if you want to be sure to see my next,project,go ahead and subscribe and hit that,notification bell,and hey let me know in the comments,below who your favorite teen titan is,i'll see you in the next one,no,this is great you know,you
