DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS ūüéÉ (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

what's wrecking family so you guys asked, for halloween diys and that's what i'm,bringing to you today dollar tree is,getting it a bunch of halloween decor, right now and though it looks like fall, behind me it's actually 91 degrees, outside so let me know the weather near, you is it feeling like fall at all, anyways let's begin the video the next, time you're in dollar tree pick up one,of their mop heads they carry them on,their own or you can buy the one that, has a handle attached to it this part is,optional but hear me out it looks way, better if you untwist the fabric that's,twisted on the mop creating thinner, pieces you want your mop to be stiff so,use a max hold hairspray and spray one, side once it's dry flip the mop over and, spray the other side i used suave max, hold hairspray i then spray painted my,mop using a brown spray paint you can,use acrylic paint if you like it's just, more time consuming and i also like that, the spray paint helps stiffen the mop, even more once the spray paint has dried,i brought the mop inside and used a,light brown paint to create some, highlights we're trying to make the mop, look like a straw broom i've included, some rope on top of the mop to make it,look more aged now this is how you're,going to get your broom to move go to,five below and pick up a remote control, car for five dollars you'll need to use, something flat like a square block to,attach the mop and the card together, flip your mop over to reveal the plastic, piece that is underneath the mop and, then use a heavy duty glue like e6000 to,attach the wood block to the mop and to,the car i also use some hot glue because,it just dries more quickly and makes, things go a little bit faster you can,use the mop handle that comes with the,mop if you like but i decided to use a,wooden dowel that i got for around a,dollar and fifty cents from walmart just, because it's very lightweight i also, painted this doll a brown color and then, glued some rope to the top of it to give,it a more antique reason you have to,stiffen up the mop is so that the fabric, doesn't keep getting stuck underneath, the car wheels it just kind of floats, with the car this is an original idea, that i had to think real hard on how to,make it work it does work it cost me ten, dollars to make when it retails for, eighty dollars on amazon and make sure, you follow me on tick tock because i,plan on doing something similar using a,roomba, every year dollar tree gets in these, ghosts if you have a ceiling fan you can,do a cool hack with these what you're,going to do is you are just going to tie, them to the ceiling fan i'm using twine,to attach mines to the ceiling fans and, guess what, that's it you just tie them to the, ceiling fan then turn the ceiling fan on,it looks like there is ghost flying, around your house and don't worry the, ghosts are very lightweight so they, won't be bending any of the fans on your, ceiling fan this is an easy hack to do,and it looks really really cool if the, fabric is a little bit too long for you,you can always trim that down, the next time you're in dollar tree pick,up two cocoa plant liners you won't,believe what you can make with these, you're going to place them inside of,each other to basically make a pacman, head shape and when you have that shape, down you can then glue them to each, other hold the cocoa liners together, until the glue has completely dried and, then move on to gluing another section, when you're in dollar tree pick up a,broom handle you're going to trace the, broom handle on the bottom of your, coconut liner and create a hole using, some scissors you're then going to push, the handle through that hole now it's,time to paint your coconut liner i'm,using a lime green color on the coconut, liner i recommend using a paint sponge,to paint this it makes it so much easier, and do a stippling motion versus a,stroke the edge of the coconut liners, has what looks already like a lip so i,painted that area red i also used black, paint i mixed it with my green paint and, with my red paint to shade different, areas and then i used the black paint on,its own especially in the inside of the, mouth our mouth needs teeth i'm going to,be using craft foam i got from hobby, lobby but dollar tree also carries white, craft foam it's just hard to find, sometimes i glue them inside of the, mouth just using hot glue and i don't,like to keep them all white so i use, some shades of brown paint to just dirty,up the teeth a little bit now i got a,pool noodle from dollar tree i cut it,down to about three feet and i push my,broomstick through the pool noodle now,i'm going to be using a planter i got, from dollar general for ten dollars,we're flipping it over and we're using, our drill to create a big hole at the, bottom this way we can place our, broomstick through this hole you don't,want it to be too big otherwise the, broomstick is gonna fall right over i,placed some gravel and stones at the, bottom of this the stones were from, dollar tree and the gravel was from, walmart you just want this to be,weighted at the bottom so it's not easy,to tip over i ended up painting the pool, noodle i just used a darker green black, and brown paint once i have that done,it's time to attach some fake greenery, now this greenery i got at hobby lobby, you can use dollar tree greenery but you,end up spending more at dollar tree than, you do just going to a craft store and, getting it on sale and when i glued the, greenery to the coconut liner i held it,in place while i wait for the glue to,dry that's how i made these almost five, feet tall venus fly traps and i made, them for under 25 i only needed four, dollar tree products plus the greenery, from hobby lobby which was eight dollars, and then the planter which was ten, dollars, okay for this project you want to pick,up some gift boxes from dollar tree i,went with two of these cylinder shapes, and i'm removing the lid you're also, going to need some craft foam i,purchased this big pack from walmart you,get 50 sheets for a little over five, dollars i'm starting off with the bigger, cylinder and i'm taking the lime green, foam and cutting it out to go around the, cylinder i'll also be cutting a piece, that's going to go on the top once i,have those pieces cut i use some glue to,attach them to the cylinder boxes i used, foam glue on the bigger pieces that go,on the sides just because sometimes hot, glue can mess with the shape of foam so,i didn't want any weird lines going, through the pieces on the side i'm going,to be making three different tiers the, bottom one is supposed to be a little, frankenstein so i use my black foam to,create some hairs stitches the eyes and,the mouth now for the second tier i go,ahead and glue the box on top of my,frankenstein and this one i turned into,a ghost so i used white foam for this, and then black foam for the features i,decided i wanted to do one more smaller, tier i didn't use a box for this but, dollar tree does carry small boxes you,can use in the craft supply section if,you want instead i just took the foam, and created a cylinder shape with that, foam and this is supposed to be a tiny, little pumpkin you guys know i love to,make fake sweets on this channel and i,usually do these with spackle i decided,to do one that's done without spackle to,give you guys some options i'm gonna be,using pom poms from dollar tree as the, icing for this as well as some ribbon, and this ribbon i got at hobby lobby on,sale for a dollar and fifty cents you, just hot glue them wherever you see fit,and if you want to go with tobacco you, most definitely can finally i just, painted on a little bit more features, for instance some more whites on the eye,and then i wanted to give my ghost and,the pumpkin some cheeks so i use the, light pink pink to do that and that's,how you make a foam and pom pom cake, instead of doing the spackle and of,course you can always add spackle to,this to truly make it look like a cake, either way this is adorable and so easy,to do recently on my channel i shared, with you guys how to make a giant, gingerbread house out of dollar tree, foam board i knew when i did that we had,to make a haunted house so i picked up,some black foam board from dollar tree, and i recommend having a box cutter or,an x-acto knife on hand to cut through, your foam board i like using an l,bracket just to figure out where to cut, exactly and get a straight line now i'm,not going to give you guys the exact, dimensions for this because it's a,little bit hard for me to do but, basically figure out a haunted house, design that you want to make i make sure, both the front and the back of the, haunted house are the exact same thing i,also ended up cutting out some little, pieces that are going to go in the front,of the house so it pops out a little bit, more i'm going to put fairy lights, inside of my haunted house so i need, windows so that you can actually see the, fairy lights so i just go ahead and i,cut out windows i don't try to make, every window the exact same size as the, window i cut before i just try my best, with it now once you have all your walls, cut you can then start gluing them to a,base a foam board now you're going to,have a lot of scrapped leftover pieces,of foam board cut those pieces into, smaller pieces that you're gonna use to,help support your walls so as you glue, your walls down you layer some of those, little scrap pieces to just help keep, everything nice and upright i used five, pieces of foam board to do this and let,me tell you guys it really was so easy,to do,now the truly fun part decorating the, house i got these black webs from dollar, tree and i just placed them on top of,the haunted house like i said i want to,put fairy lights inside of my haunted, house i got these from amazon i'll link, them down below they're remote, controlled which makes it really nice, because you don't want to have to put, your hand inside of there every single, time to turn them on and i put three, fairy lights inside of each kind of,compartment of my haunted house, dollar tree carries bat clips and, spiders that are perfect for this so i,decided to clip and glue some of these, pieces onto the haunted house and after,i did all this i was like you know what, this this needs a little something else,so i decided to dry brush some white, paint so basically what that means is,you take a brush dip it inside of some, paint remove most of the paint from the, brush and then do light strokes over, your project and this is going to kind,of create a very distressed look that's,how i made a haunted house using five, pieces of foam board from dollar tree i,love this thing so much it is so cool, and i feel like you can take advantage,of the inside of the haunted house and, maybe put some ghost or something inside,of there i truly love this diy and if,you recreate it make sure you tag me,because i would love to see it,every year i love to make potion bottles,on my channel i don't like to just put, labels on the front i like to make them, unique so i'm going to share with you, everything i stuck in my bottles for the, first bottle i got these bones from, dollar tree and i place the bones inside,of the bottle all of the bottles i'm,using are from dollar tree the second, bottle i'm going to be using the small, little skull heads that i got at,michael's i paid around four dollars for, them halloween and michaels is already,on sale for 40,off i then cut down some of these, broomsticks that i got from dollar tree,i had to cut them down to fit the inside,of this glass i got foam bones from, dollar tree so i put those in another, glass i decided to dirty up some water, with some acrylic paint and pour that, into the first glass that has the bones,so it would look a little bit different, from the one that has the foam bones in,another glass i'm going to be placing, some of these spiders that i also got, from dollar tree if you don't want to,buy a bunch of individual things for the, glasses i recommend getting food, coloring this way you're able to use, water and food coloring to get some, really spooky potion bottles finally the, last bottle i have to share with you, guys which is my favorite i got one of,those bigger ghosts that you saw me use, earlier and i cut some pieces down that,i filled up with some cotton at the top,and tied i'm making little ghosts out of,these and then i just painted little, faces on them i'm going to be putting, these inside of the bottle i did glue, the bigger ghost to the lid of the, bottle so that way they kind of float up,a little bit better i made some labels,i'll link down below for you guys that i,printed out on some sticker paper and, then i cut out just using my scissors so,here are the labels and what goes with, each bottle the skulls has a label that, says pickled skulls then the brooms have,a witch's broom label the ghosts have a,bottle of booze label the foam bones, have a label that says bone powder it's,not, powdery by any means but hey the, spider's label is spider venom then the, potion bottles that i made with the food, coloring the red one i did arsenic, poisoning then the green one is snake, venom finally our last label is dragon, bones and that's how you make these, really cool unique potion bottles don't,get me wrong i still like the bottles, where they just have a label on the, front and the bottle is like a solid, color however i prefer these these are,so much more interesting to look at and, they can be kind of funny if you can, find a cool play on words like the, bottle of booze one i love love love, making potion bottles on this channel, but like i said i like to do them in a,unique way, last year we used the dollar tree doll, houses to make haunted houses we're,gonna do something similar but different,i'll be using two of the pink doll, houses from dollar tree i'm removing the, windows frames doors, roof everything from it i'm just gonna, have the base of the house i painted one, house all yellow and then the other, house all orange i had to do a few, layers of paint to get an opaque look so,i did one layer of paint wait for it to,dry and then move on to the next layer, you don't want to keep adding layers, when the paint is still wet otherwise, you're not going to achieve the look, that you want dollar tree carries white, houses as well and i'm going to be using, this for the top of what i'm making i,removed again all the window frames the, door frame the roof and i'm just keeping, that all white but i did paint the roof,of this house black then the doors i,took out of the houses i painted yellow, orange and white,i'm going to be stacking the houses on,top of each other to do this i have to,remove the plastic corners that are on,the bottom of the houses that are going,to be stacked on top of each other if,you don't remove those pieces you won't,be able to glue them down flat to each, other so i removed those pieces and then,i glued the houses down and basically,i'm making a candy corn house you can, then put back in your windows and the, frames i only put back in the windows, that were white and i actually used some,of the windows from the, bottom houses, for the top of the roof then glued the, houses to a piece of foam board because,i'm going to be using spackle you put, speckle inside of a piping bag with an,icing tip and then you just treat it as,if it were icing that you're icing on,top of a gingerbread house dollar tree, does carry spackle but my favorite, spackle is dap spackle that you find at,home depot it's just creamy you don't,have to mix it with water you get more, bang for your buck i like it a lot more,so i just did like some different, designs on top of this i embellished, this with some fake candy corns and i'll,link the seller i used down below for,you guys i got it from etsy, then i used some puff paint from dollar, tree to create more detailed designs, that i really cannot do with the spackle,to make it look more like a gingerbread, house little designs that look like, lights and wreaths, and snow,it's just easier to use the puff paint, for these designs than spackle like i,said because spackle it's like,no you would have a very hard time doing, this with spackle so we are making a,gingerbread haunted house type of,situation even though this is candy corn,so it's a little bit sweeter it's so,cute and easy to do you guys and it's,really fun because you can go like any, design it doesn't have to be just candy, corn i absolutely love the way that this, turned out i want to make some little, fake cookies to go along with this, right now at dollar tree you can find, halloween christmas trees i'll be using, nine for this project i remove the, bottom off of all the trees except one,and then push all the branches of the, trees to one side i'm going to share, with you how you can make one bigger, substantial fuller tree using multiple, trees dollar tree christmas trees are, very sparse they look kind of sad on,their own so you want to get at least, two to make a fuller tree i recommend, three but you want at least two what, you'll do is you'll use zip ties to,attach a group of trees together whether, that's two three four more than four it,just starts to look like funny so what, you're gonna do is just use those zip, ties and tie all your trees together so,i'm gonna do three rows of trees and in,each row there's gonna be three attached,to,each other so i have the top of my,christmas tree which is three trees and, then when i attach the middle of the, christmas tree i attach the top of these, trees that i'm adding to the bottom of,the trees that are already there and, that's how i attach all the trees, together all the trees are attached you,can cut the zip ties off and then place, the stands on the one piece that you, still left the plastic on,i'll share with you guys how i decorated, mine dollar tree carries miniature, ornaments that are great for these mini, trees i picked up three packs and i,mainly focused on the front of my tree i,do this with my christmas tree too i,don't put ornaments all the time all, around the tree i just make sure that if,i don't put it on the back i don't make, the front too weighted otherwise it'll,fall over on you i also added some of,these ornaments these i ended up getting,at home goods i got them last year they, were 9.99,so i placed some of those on my tree, right now dollar tree has candy corn, picks so i remove the candy corn off of,the pigs and then i glue them to the, christmas tree i purchased this ghost, pick from michael's for a little over, two dollars this is going to be my tree, topper and then i used one of the webs, from dollar tree as the skirt for my,tree that's how you make a bigger tree, using these small trees from dollar tree, this tree is about three feet tall and,it cost me 11.25,to make which is a steal of course the, price of the ornaments that's different, but the tree base itself was 11.25,right now dollar tree has foam skulls in,and what's nice about these is they are, easier to work with than the plastic, ones they get in so what i'm doing is,i'm taking this little like skewer it's,honestly a kitchen thing i'm making a,hole through my skulls and then feeding,a broomstick through the skulls i'll be,using five total i figure out how i want, these skeletons to look when they're,stacked on top of each other and i make, the holes according to that and i really, recommend using something,to create those holes instead of just, the broomstick because it's really hard,to create a hole with just a broomstick, once i have all the skulls on top of the, broomstick i went outside and i spray, painted them with a cream color i,decided to spray paint them again as i,said earlier it's just it's faster to do,for me but you can always use an acrylic, paint i then went in with acrylic paint,to add the details so the shading the, highlighting that i need the cracks that,i need i kind of just played it by ear i,started with black and i put those, inside of the areas i wanted to be the, darkest so the eyes and the nose i then, went in with like brown tones and tried,to make the skulls look a little bit, more dirty, and then i did like a grayish color, around the teeth just figure out what, works for you,i purchased this planter at dollar tree,i'm gonna be gluing some foam pieces, also from dollar tree to the bottom of,the planter and once i have those foam, pieces in i push my broomstick through, the foam so now it's standing upright i,placed the kitchen towel at the bottom,of this to dummy it up so that i could, put some stones from dollar tree inside,of here but not have to use as many, stones you need something down there, though that's weighted otherwise this is,going to fall over on you because it's,so lightweight to really spook this up i,put some webs from dollar tree on the, bottom of this and that's it that's how,i made this i don't really know what you, want to call this like tower of skulls i,i don't know but it's really spooky, looking, really wanted to do another diy using, the foam skulls from dollar tree so for, this project we're gonna need two of the, paper towel holders from dollar tree you,are going to push two heads through a,paper towel holder and then once you, have those two heads through there you, take another paper towel holder and put,it through the top of the skull now i,purchased two of these wood rounds from, dollar tree i'm going to be gluing my,paper towel holders to these wood rounds, using hot glue i recommend using, something else than hot glue i'm just, using hot glue because it dries quickly, and i'm filming i'm trying to do things, fast if you use hot glue like i did, though do not put anything heavy on top,of this and make sure you put more hot, glue on the bottom paper towel holder, that's touching that bottom wood piece, don't worry about it it gets covered up,or you can use something to cover it up,i then went ahead and i spray painted, this entire thing black i then went in,with some gold acrylic paint to,highlight areas of the skull that's how,you make this really cool skull stand i,wouldn't put anything too heavy on the,top of this especially if you use hot, glue i absolutely love the way that this, one turned out, this is a simple project you can get, these traffic cones in the toy section,of dollar tree and just paint them to,look like candy corn make sure you're,using a paint that is meant for outside, use so in this case you're just going to,use white and yellow paint and you're,going to have to do a few layers of this, because it's plastic if you use an,acrylic paint it doesn't really go on,plastic the nicest the first time around,so you have to do a few layers to get, that opaque look what you see right here,is my second layer of paint and you can,see it starts looking way more opaque, with the second layer of paint you can,use this outside to make some really, cute decor i think it's super unique, because i never really see people, decorate with candy corn outside the, other thing you can do is get styrofoam, from dollar tree the ones that look like, cones and paint that instead which i,prefer this way just because i don't,have to do a bunch of layers of paint i,just do one the way you get these to,stand outside without falling over with, any type of wind is by using bamboo, skewers from dollar tree i break them in,half i stick them in the ground and then, put the cone over the skewer and i go,straight down with the cone so that the, skewer doesn't poke out of the sides and, that's it these are so cute i want to,make more and have them all over for, halloween, for our next project you're going to,need some wood beads dollar tree carries, them they're unfinished you can paint, them black if you want or,you can buy them already colored and i,have this black garland i bought at,walmart last year when it was on,clearance i probably paid like a dollar, for all of this so i'm going to use that, instead, now i'm going to also be using some fake, apples you can get these at hobby lobby, for inexpensive price i think i paid, three dollars for a big bag of them,we're going to be making poison apple, garland so i'm going to be using these, yarn needles and i'm going to tie some, string through one of the yarn needles i,then i'm going to start putting some, beads on top of that and as i put beads,i'm also going to be putting some of the, foam, apples now i want to do this beforehand, because once i have glue on top of this, which is what we're going to be using,i'm going to have a hard time getting, the needle through the glue so i need, this big needle to get through the foam,of the apple and i use pliers to pull it,out so i push the needle through the, apple and then use pliers to pull it out,i used a mixture of red and green apples, now to get the poison apple face and the, look of it i'm going to be using hot, glue now when you're doing this you, don't want to hold the apple for long, just hold it to get the initial face, down and then once you start to pour the, rest of the hot glue stop holding the, apple unless you want to burn your, fingerprints off unless you have those, glue gun finger protectors you can use, those but if you don't have those, don't hold it long because you will burn, your fingers make sure wherever you're,pouring the hot glue on the apple you, don't mind hot glue getting on that, surface so in this case i had these, little coasters that i was using if the,hot glue got on there it's really easy,to take off i like to use hot glue for, this because i like the 3d look it gives,it it makes it look more like it was, dipped into something you can always, just use paint instead and not do it,this way but i really do like the way, that the hot glue makes this look wait, for the hot glue to completely dry, before you start to paint over it i used,a lime green paint and a red paint the,red apples i painted with the lime green, and the green apples i painted with the,red color you are going to have to do a,few layers of paint and wait for each, layer to dry before putting on your next, layer the reason you're gonna have to do,a few layers of paint is to get the, opaque look unless you don't really mind,a bit of the hot glue still showing, underneath your paint now to hang this,on top of my fireplace i'm just tying, the ends of my garland to some command, strips and then i place that on my,fireplace now this garland is heavy, because of the apples so to get the, apples to stay where i want them to stay, put i'm using some glue dots that i got, from dollar tree i just place them on,the back of each apple and then place, the apple exactly how i want it to be i,made this garland a little bit too long, for my fireplace so please try to excuse, that this garland is so darn cute i have, never seen something like this before,i've seen the poison apples that you can,buy but i've never seen a garland of it,it's so cute to do and last year i made, the poison apples but i made them bigger, and it's the exact same thing as before,it's just easier to make the faces on,the bigger apples you use your hot glue, gun to create the face and the little, dip look to it and then once the glue, dries you can paint it i did shade, around the eyes and the nose with some, black paint on these apples to really, give it some dimension,i shared this project last year not, everyone has seen it so i want to,reshare it because it's really good you,can get some blank t-shirts at dollar, tree if you can find 100 cotton t-shirts,i recommend getting those you're also, going to pick up some of their diy wood, blanks then get an empty spray bottle, and bleach you're going to fill the, spray bottle up with bleach if you have,a piece of cardboard lying around put, that in between your t-shirts what we're,going to do is we are going to place our, wood blanks on top of the t-shirts and, spray the bleach on top of that what, happens is the design that's on the wood, blank transfers onto your t-shirts the, bleach just goes around it but still, leaves the design it's really really, cool, after they're done you can go ahead and, wash these inside of the washing machine, and that's it so easy to do and super, cool next up we're going to be making, the hocus pocus book from dollar tree, you want to pick up a blank book as well,as their faux leather that you're going,to find near all of the cricket items so,it's a long roll what you'll do is,you'll cut that piece down to wrap, around the inside of the book as well as,the outside once you have that cut down, just glue it into place with your hot, glue gun now we'll be using some fake, eyeballs from dollar tree you're going,to want to go ahead and cut those in,half all you have to do is find the hole, that's in the ball and then put your, scissor through it and that way you'll,be able to cut it in half once you have,it cut in half take the part that has,the iris and glue that onto your book, now this is the most time consuming part,of this diy but it is so easy to do you, just take your hot glue gun and you use,it to create the designs that are on the, book you want to do layers of this so in,the corners of the book there's these, little snake designs so you want to,start off with a layer there and that's,going to be the very base of the design, and once that dries start adding the, snake design over it so it starts to,give it that 3d effect another example, are the stitches and the wounds i,started off making the wounds and then i,waited for that to dry and then i went, over that with the glue again to create, the stitches and that's how i created, the 3d effect after you have all your, designs down it's time to paint, everything i recommend going over every, design except for the eyelid area with, black paint this gives it a really good, base and it gives the paint that you, apply afterwards something to attach to,after i have every area that i want, painted black i then go in with my,colors the only colors i used on the, book itself not the eye were silver, black, white and brown paint if you're into, highlighting and shading like i am all,you have to do is dip your finger inside,of the paint and rub it over the leather,it's really easy to blend it that way, versus using a paint brush and that's,how i shade it and i highlighted the, book the only other thing that was left, for me to do was to paint the eyeball, the eyeball of the hocus pocus book is,not yellow i went with blue i just used, some blue paint to paint over the iris, and then black paint to paint over the, pupil a little more i love the way that, this book came out if you cannot find, the leather from dollar tree i will link,my other tutorial down below for you, guys that one i use toilet paper and, anybody can find toilet paper i mean i,guess if it was 20 20 you might not have, been able to find toilet paper but now,you can moving right along from dollar, tree you're going to want to pick up,some of their hanging coffin signs and i,recommend at least using three but if,you want to use more, honestly the more the better and you're,also going to be using these chalkboard, signs again from dollar tree now i had,my husband cut down these signs to make, pieces that are going to go around the, coffin, again you do not need to use a saw or,anything like that you can use scissors, now go ahead and glue your coffins on,top of each other and the reason you, need a few of these is so that the, chalkboard has something to attach to so,once i have all of my coffins glued on,top of each other i can now attach the, chalkboard to the sides of the coffin,i used hot glue to do this but i really, recommend using a more heavy duty glue i,just use the hot glue because it dries, quickly and it i don't have to like wait, forever to finish, filming a video this part is completely, optional you can keep the imagery as is,but i decided to paint over that imagery, using some black paints, and i also painted over the edges of the, chalkboard now it's time to decorate the, inside of the coffin i got these skulls, from dollar tree and i'm going to be,gluing one on top of the other and i,just use hot glue to do this now as you,do this you're going to notice that, these skulls are kind of tipping over, because they're very lightweight they, don't have a base under them when you, stick them inside of the coffin the, walls of the coffin are gonna keep them, upright then i added some fairy lights, now i have to credit somebody for this, diy my husband if you guys like this diy,say thanks to matt in the comments, because he's the one who came up with, this he actually made a different coffin, using the wall shelves from dollar tree,we didn't have enough for me to do that,on camera so that's why i ended up using, the chalkboard signs i'm gonna show you, guys how i decorated his coffin i got, this little skeleton from dollar tree i,went ahead and glued him inside i added, some web and spiders from dollar tree, and then that's just how i decorated, matt's coffin so again thanks to matt, these are super cool they're about two, feet tall and they wouldn't even work, outside if you wanted them to that's it,for these halloween diys i hope you, enjoyed the video let me know your, favorite down in the comments and i will, see you next time take care bye

The above is a brief introduction to cheap halloween decor ideas

Let's move on to the first section of cheap halloween decor ideas

Dollar Tree HALLOWEEN DIYS ūüéÉ (cheap fall decor ideas to impress everyone!)

Dollar Tree HALLOWEEN DIYS ūüéÉ (cheap fall decor ideas to impress everyone!)

hey everyone it's Sara Jane with Chic  on the cheap and today we're making a  ,bunch of fun and easy Halloween  decorations using a majority of  ,Dollar Tree products I hope you guys enjoy  this video let's go ahead and get started  ,okay so first we're going to make a ghost that's  perfect for your front porch or even the inside  ,of your house and to start you'll need one funnel  these come in a pack of three at Dollar Tree and  ,a bucket or a planter of some kind and then  just glue the funnel inside of it I'm using  ,hot glue which does work well for this you just  want to make sure that there is a strong hold  ,and here is how mine looked next add some glue  to the top of the funnel and grab a Dollar Tree  ,broom handle and place the open end over the  top of the funnel you may have to hold it in  ,place for a few seconds while the glue dries but  the broomstick should be set in place like this  ,and this next step is especially important  if you're going to have your ghost outside  ,be sure to add some dirt or rocks or in my case  some rice inside the planter to weigh it down  ,next grab a bowl I found this clear one at Dollar  Tree and I'm going to hot glue it to the top of  ,the broomstick I love using hot glue for my  projects but always feel free to use whatever  ,kind of glue or adhesive you prefer and just to  give you a look at what we just created basically  ,it looks like some sort of floor lamp then you'll  want to wrap some lights around the broom handle  ,these are just plain Christmas lights and I  would suggest using floral wire or strong tape  ,to secure the lights then after the lights are  in place you can put a sheet over the top or in  ,my case this is a Dollar Tree tablecloth it's  the round tablecloth that you can find in the  ,party section and the ghost is already looking  good but of course he needs some eyes and I am  ,using some of Dollar Tree sparkly black vinyl I  just cut out two oval shapes and stuck them on  ,foreign how the ghost turned out I think  he is so incredibly cute especially with  ,the lights off he is over four feet tall and  would make the perfect addition to your front  ,porch to greet trick-or-treaters and this DIY  is so easy I decided to make two of them and  ,aside from the Christmas lights everything used  to make these ghosts did come from Dollar Tree, and I am so excited to share this next DIY  with you and it is inspired by this Instagram  ,Creator I will have her page linked down in  the description box below but she has a lot of  ,really creative Halloween DIYs and other holiday  decorating ideas that you should definitely go  ,and check out and this one is so good now what  you'll need is a cauldron I picked up mine from  ,Joann's and you'll also need some sort of filler I  had this Dollar Tree planter on hand so I'm using  ,this but you can use styrofoam or even plastic  bags you basically just want something inside  ,of The Cauldron to take up space and I'm just  going to glue this upside down to the bottom  ,and here's what that looks like on the inside  next you'll need some clear ornaments you can  ,always pick up some from Dollar Tree or an  even better deal are the Box ornaments from  ,Hobby Lobby they are almost always 50 off this  time of year and I started with two boxes of  ,these iridescent ones and you just want to pull  the hanger portion off of the top it should be  ,pretty easy to do and once your ornaments are  hanger free you can begin gluing them in place  ,and you'll start by attaching the ornaments to  your filler piece which of course is my planter  ,and just keep stacking trust me it's really hard  to mess this up you're going for an overflowing  ,Bubble look so I am just gluing these on in random  places once I ran out of the larger ornaments I  ,went in with one box of these smaller ones and  I just placed them again in random spots and  ,also down the side like this to make it look like  The Cauldron was overflowing and then once you're  ,done you can add a ribbon if you would like but  to really bring this thing to life add some fairy  ,lights specifically the ones that twinkle it just  makes this cauldron look so magical and it's just  ,one of the cutest Halloween DIYs I've ever seen  and this is my version of it there are a bunch of  ,them floating around on social media I did want to  be sure to share where I got my inspiration from  ,but you can definitely make it your own and be  creative with it I just love this project so much, foreign, the next time you're at Dollar Tree grab a few  packs of black balloons and some balloon glue  ,to make a huge spider you'll want to start  by blowing up one of the balloons all the  ,way and another just halfway and because I  want to position the spider at the corner of  ,my kitchen island I'm using the balloon glue to  attach the balloons to both the countertop and  ,to each other making sure the smaller balloon  is in the front now here's a side view so you  ,can see the head and the abdomen of the spider  and once that's done you'll want to blow up at  ,least 32 more balloons yes and I blew all  of them up to about the size of a softball  ,and these balloons will be the legs of the  spider and really all you have to do is attach  ,the balloons together using the balloon glue  and one thing I did want to mention though is  ,that if I did this again I would use some duct  tape or some other kind of adhesive just to make  ,sure all of the balloons had a stronger hold  especially if I was building this for a party  ,where people are going to like Brush by it or  possibly touch it a bunch but the balloon glue  ,does hold just know if you want to make sure  your spider doesn't fall apart during your  ,evening make sure you use some tape along with  the balloon glue is what I recommend and I did  ,give my spider eight legs and I put four balloons  on each leg and then I went back and added some  ,extra balloons to the back legs just to give the  spider some depth so that is 35 balloons total, and here's what the spider looks like I think  it already looks so cool just sitting there at  ,the edge of my kitchen island but I do think he  needs some eyes so you can either draw those on  ,or paint them on I found this little craft kit  at Dollar Tree there are little eyes inside of  ,it so those are perfect I just attached  them once again using some balloon glue  ,and here's how my spider turned out I think he  looks so good and I know he would be a huge hit  ,at your next Halloween party and really he is  so easy to make and pretty quick too I think  ,in total this took me about an hour to create  just because I did blow up all the balloons  ,myself but if you can pick up a little machine  or have a friend help you you can get this done  ,even faster but how fun would this be sitting  in your kitchen or on a table next to all of  ,your food and drinks at your next party I also  want to say that you can put this balloon spider  ,other places as well just have fun with it  here's how he looks above the refrigerator, okay so next you want to pick up some large jars  I found these at Dollar Tree and they're a really  ,nice size and a great deal for a dollar and 25  cents and you'll also want to pick up some of  ,these window clings I've been a big fan of  Dollar Tree window clings for a long time  ,and I've done a lot of projects with them but  basically what you need to know is that they  ,stick to glass without any glue or any adhesive  but if you want more of a permanent hold you can  ,always add some glue if you would like but you  don't need it and here I'm adding some of my  ,favorite window clings to the jars and again  no glue is needed which is a wonderful thing  ,next I'm filling the jars with candy and usually  when making gifts like this I try to think about  ,the candy that I would most like to receive and  that's definitely Mr goodbars and Reese's so  ,that's what I'm using but let me know what's your  favorite candy what did you always hope you would  ,get from your neighbors in your trick-or-treat  bags I always was disappointed when I got anything  ,caramel I am not a caramel fan which might be  weird to some people but that's it these are the  ,finished treat jars and what I love about this is  that we didn't do any damage to the jar so you can  ,give this as a gift to someone and they can enjoy  having a Halloween gift from you and then they  ,can just peel off the window cling and repurpose  the jar for food storage or kitchen organization  ,I just love that you can make a gift that can be  nice for the occasion but also be repurposed and  ,I'm also really impressed with the graphics on  these window clings they look like something you  ,might find in Target but you'd likely pay more  than 1.25 cents for the set next are some new  ,bottles that I found in Dollar Tree this week and  what's so exciting about these is that they light  ,up and they do come with batteries so here's  how they look once they are lit up and this is  ,just a super easy idea for these I grabbed some  poster stickers from my local craft store Dollar  ,Tree does sell poster stickers but they're not as  pretty as these these have some glitter on them  ,and of course if you have a Cricut you can use  that to make some letters as well but I don't have  ,one so these poster stickers are great to have on  hand to spell out words and I spelled out boo and  ,then you can add the bottles to your coffee bar  or your treat bar or have them out at a Halloween  ,party but this is just a really easy idea and  a way that you can use these new bottles from  ,Dollar Tree and your holiday decor and one thing I  wanted to mention about these bottles too is that  ,the battery compartment is at the very top so it's  really easy to switch out the batteries when the  ,lights die I don't know I just always feel like  that's a good thing to know so I wanted to share, for the next DIY I'm using the seasonal Dollar  Tree signs but usually you can find these items  ,year round they'll just have different  designs or graphics on them but really  ,it doesn't matter what they have on them  and I'll show you why in just a second but  ,first you want to glue the longer side to the  square sign like this and make sure everything  ,is nice and stable I repeated this two more  times to make three total stands and then  ,I took these Dollar Tree bowls and glued  one upside down to the top of each stand, and here's what the stands look like once the  bowls were on top and once you're done making  ,those you can take them outside to spray paint  them and I am just using a matte or flat black  ,spray paint and I'm doing my best to cover up all  of the designs on the sides I did want to mention  ,that you can of course hand paint these but I  really enjoy spray painting just because it is  ,so convenient and quick but hand painting is an  option too and here's how the stands looked once  ,the spray paint was dry and what I'm doing here is  just draping some really pretty green iridescent  ,mesh over the stands and I did find this at  Joanne's I just thought it was so beautiful  ,but you can use whatever kind of cloth or fabric  that you would like and then I'm going to use more  ,Dollar Tree bowls and hot glue them together now  what you want to do is make sure that you've lined  ,up all of the grooves not only will the bowls  stick together better this way they'll also  ,look a lot nicer and I did once again repeat this  step two more times to make three of the connected  ,bowls and this step is optional but I used a  heated knife to cut a small hole in the back of  ,the bowls for lights now if your hot glue gun gets  really hot you might be able to melt the plastic  ,using that but keep in mind you can always put  the lights inside of the bowls first and then glue  ,them together then you wouldn't need a hole just  make sure whatever you do that the battery pack  ,is on the outside then I glued the bowls to the  top of each stand like this making sure the hole  ,where the lights go in is facing the back then  you can add some ribbon and some hats and here  ,are my Trio of witches I think they turned out so  cute and which decor for some reason especially  ,anything that lights up can be pretty expensive  and I wanted to come up with an affordable way  ,that you can make some witches for your porch  or even for the inside of your house using a  ,majority of Dollar Tree products I did get the  green fairy lights and also the hats from Amazon  ,I will have those linked down in the description  box below but this project is really easy and it's  ,also one that you can get creative with and make  your own witches but I love how these turned out,now if you do get some of those green fairy lights  also pick up some of this green spider webbing  ,from Dollar Tree and if you have a cauldron on  hand just mix the webbing in with the fairy lights  ,it doesn't have to be pretty just make sure the  fairy lights are all covered up and you can also  ,fluff the spider webbing so that it looks like  it's peeking out of the top of the cauldron and  ,this looks so cool it creates a really fun neon  glow it reminds me of The Cauldron from Hocus  ,Pocus so if you're having a Hocus Pocus watch  party this would be perfect to have on hand and it  ,literally only takes seconds to make and you guys  it really is the Sprite I don't have any filters  ,on this video so definitely try this out at  your next Halloween party I think you'll love it  ,so I recently moved and I came across my first  Dollar Tree plus section and I found these  ,stackable pumpkins for five dollars now if you  don't have a Dollar Tree plus section I noticed  ,that Five Below is also selling stackable pumpkins  that look very similar also for five dollars but  ,you do get three pumpkins in different sizes  that connect together like this to create a  ,stack I think this is such a cool product and  I thought it would be fun to give it a quick  ,Halloween makeover so what I did was spray paint  two of the pumpkins black the top one which is  ,the smallest size and the bottom one which is  the largest and I've talked about this before  ,I always like to use flat or matte spray paint I  just find that I like the look of that best and  ,then the middle pumpkin is getting two coats of  white spray paint and again keep in mind that you  ,can hand paint all of these pumpkins as well and  here is a look at the pumpkins after they dried  ,and then to decorate them I'm taking three of  these little glitter bats and placing them on  ,the white pumpkin these bats are made out of a  sheet of glitter foam and I tried to position  ,the bats to make them look like they were flying  and because they were made out of foam they give  ,this really nice 3d effect once the bats were all  in place it was time to stack up the pumpkins and  ,see what we've created and here's what the Stacked  pumpkins look like with their Halloween glow up  ,I really like the Simplicity of this and it can  go with lots of different Halloween decor I did  ,find this hey boo sign at Dollar Tree it was also  in the plus section it was only five dollars but  ,it goes perfectly with the Stacked pumpkins and I  think for five dollars that is such a great deal, okay so I don't know about you guys but I love  Nightmare Before Christmas and when I saw these  ,gingerbread foam shapes at Hobby Lobby I had to  pick up a set to make some skeleton gingerbread  ,men you can also just cut out some gingerbread  shapes using construction paper whatever you  ,would like to do I just like the pre-cut ones  because they're a lot easier to use and they  ,make this project so quick and all I'm doing  here is just using puff paint to create the  ,bones for my gingerbread skeletons now here's  a closer look at the design I went with and  ,here's a look at my Army of gingerbread skeleton  men foreign I decided to take this Dollar Tree  ,wreath form and wrap it in some yarn and the way  that I like to do this is I take a long piece of  ,yarn and I tie it to the wreath form and then I  wrap the yarn around the wreath until I'm almost  ,running out of the yarn and then I will knot it  again doing it this way means you don't have to  ,use any glue which is a thing I'm a fan of a  lot of times when I use yarn and hot glue I  ,end up burning myself but here's how the wreath  form looked once it was all covered in the yarn  ,and then I'm just going to glue the gingerbread  skeleton men all around the wreath form  ,overlapping them as I go this is already giving  me all of The Nightmare Before Christmas vibes  ,and to finish things off I added a simple bow  but you can add whatever you would like to this  ,wreath if you'd like to go with a bigger bow  or maybe even add a happy Halloween sign I just  ,like to keep things pretty simple and here's  how the wreath turned out I think it is so  ,adorable and it's especially great for people  like me who love both Christmas and Halloween, foreign and lately when I've been doing my  DIY videos I try to give you guys some sort  ,of food idea and this is an idea that I've  been wanting to do for such a long time I  ,just picked up these items from Dollar Tree a  vanilla and chocolate cake mix some sprinkles  ,and some frosting and you'll also need a cookie  cutter I'm using this ghost shape and the first  ,step is to bake the vanilla cake and once it is  cooled take the cookie cutter and cut out your  ,ghost shapes now what I like to do is press the  cookie cutter into the sheet cake over and over  ,again before I pull the shapes out I just find  that the cake is easier to work with that way  ,and I'm less likely to tear it up but once  you're done you should be left with several  ,cake go shapes like this or of course whatever  shaped cookie cutter you're working with then  ,you'll want to line a loaf pan with some aluminum  foil and take the ghost shapes and line them up  ,down the middle next just mix up your chocolate  cake and pour the mix into the loaf pan making  ,sure to completely cover up the ghost shapes  follow the baking instructions on your cake mix  ,mine took a little over 20 minutes to bake and  then let that cool and frost it and here is how  ,the cake turned out with the ghost on the inside  you guys this cake is so much fun to make it is  ,so easy and it's really impressive looking it's  guaranteed to be a hit at your next Halloween  ,party just tell all the kids that the cake is  haunted and then cut it open trust me if I can  ,make it you can make it and I hope you guys do try  it it doesn't have to be a Halloween cake it can  ,also be a Christmas cake it can be any kind of  themed cake that you want with whatever kind of  ,cookie cutter that you have on hand but if you  guys do try this let me know how it turns out  ,all right guys well that's it those are  some fun and easy Halloween DIYs using  ,a majority of Dollar Tree products I hope  you guys enjoyed this video and as always  ,thank you so much for watching and until my  next one I'll see you then Happy Halloween

10 Easy DIY Halloween Decoration Ideas

10 Easy DIY Halloween Decoration Ideas

foreign, what's up you guys today I'm going to,share with you 10 super easy Halloween,DIY decoration ideas that anybody can do,that you can get all of the material, from the dollar store so let's do this, the first thing we're going to make is,these witch Potion bottles so all you, need are some glass jars a little bit of,glitter,we're gonna get some cotton balls, some water mixed with some paint or even, food coloring and then a couple of,little Halloween accessories,so what you're going to do is mix the, paint with the water pop in the cotton, balls add some glitter and let the, mixture kind of sit add in some water, some more cotton balls some more glitter,I actually found that the food coloring, with the water worked a little bit, better, and you can do this in all different, colors so this bottle I did purple, glitter with some black, and then the next one I did Green cotton, ball green glitter added in some blue in,there,I tossed in an eyeball for effects which,I also got at the dollar store, topped it off with some water and it,really creates this galaxy kind of,potiony vibe effect with all the glitter, and everything I also added in some, bouncy balls with spiders in them that I,got at the dollar store, then to seal off the lid just make sure, that it's glued down with a hot glue gun,add some twine and you can add a little, accessory on the top to Mark what kind,of bottle it is,and then you can place these anywhere, and decorate with them I used them on,The Mantel and they turned out so well, okay next up we're going to make these, floating ghosts these are so magical and,so easy to do so all you need is some, cheese cloth some school glue you're,going to take out the cheesecloth cut it,to the right size mix equal part school, glue with some water mix that together, and then you're gonna soak the, cheesecloth in that then you just need a,mold so you can use a water bottle a cup, with a little balloon as the head of the, ghost and then I use pipe cleaners as,the arms and then you're going to drape, the cheesecloth that is now soaked in,that glue over top it will work better, with two layers and you can let them dry,I let them dry by the fireplace, then you're going to pop that balloon, and take the cheesecloth off of that, mold that you've created and these, ghosts will float on their own you can,pop some eyes on,and I put some little tea lights under, them and they just hold themselves up on,their own these are so cool and so,magical and also so easy to make I just, love them, next up we're going to make some spooky, soap this is so simple and so easy to,make all you need is a mason jar any, type of container that can hold some, soap I used green soap with some green, glitter tossed in these glow cubes that, you can get off of Amazon or at the, dollar store,I also had this really cool poison apple, one that fit in perfectly, popped on the lid and put that right, next to the sink lit a candle and it had,all of the spooky vibes, this is going to Jazz up your cocktails, for Halloween so much so all you need, are some ice trays I got these from,Walmart pop in some spiders or any, accessories that you have lying around, the house fill with water I also decided,to add in some gummies and then the, second tray I decided to put in some, food coloring of all different sorts,in these I popped in some eyeball, gummies some gummy worms and this is,such a cool way to spice up any spooky, cocktails throughout the Halloween, season, this is my magic Mickey that I made he's,honestly super easy and super cheap to,make all you need is a balloon some, paper towels some foil a little bit of,cardboard and some patience,so what you're going to do is Trace on,the Mickey face onto the balloon and, then you're going to start applying the,Papi mache which is basically flour and, water with paper towel and then you can, mold the form of his ears with some, tinfoil, let that Harden and sit add in all the, details like the stem as well as the, little leaf on top of his Noggin, cover entirely with paper towel and that, mixture let it dry carve out the eyes as,well as the nose and the mouth, cut a hole in the bottom and then paint, the entire thing Orange, you can add a tea light underneath I,added a couple of tea lights that I got,at the dollar store and he turned out, perfect, this is one of my favorites the bubbling, cauldron this is so easy and so flipping, cool so you're gonna need some clear, ornaments a nebulizer a cauldron and, some spider webs so I filled up my,nebulizer and then I stuffed the clear, plastic ornaments with this,glow-in-the-dark spiderweb you don't,need to use the glow in the dark you can,use black you can use white it's totally,up to you but the green looked really, really good so I stuffed the bottom of,the cauldron first with just some black, spider webs that I had lying around and, then I filled it with the green,glow-in-the-dark spider webs and then I,put all of the ornaments on top just, glued them together with a hot glue gun, left some space for the nebulizer and, then it looks like a bubbling cauldron, and bonus points because it also glows,in the dark, okay let's make a monster Garden all you, need for this is cardboard some glow, sticks that I got at the dollar store, draw out some little eyes into your, cardboard cut out the shape roll it into,a cylinder crack those glow cubes pop, them into the cylinder I like to seal, one of the sides of the cylinder so that,it can actually hold the glow Cube pop, them into the bushes and then at night, these are going to Glow as though you, have monsters in the dark,Helping Hands these are super cheap, solid tongs from the dollar store, they're just skeleton hands and then I,also found these really cool candles so,here's what you're going to do you're,going to cut a hole in each of them you,can just use scissors that are really, easy to penetrate and then you can, either drill into a piece of wood or,just use something heavy to hold these, down because they're so lightweight so,on Halloween night this could hold your, candy buckets and place one of those, candles in the hand you don't have to,hot glue gun anything down because it'll,hold itself up you can also take this, outside as a cool front porch accessory, this DIY ghost pillow was inspired from,a really expensive Pottery Barn pillow, that I really wanted but it's also sold, out so I figured we could make this, together,I got a baby blanket off of Amazon tied, some twine around a pillow that I,already had just to create the ghost, shape and then I draped the baby blanket, over top I just got a small Sherpa, blanket that kind of matched the style,of the pillow that I was trying to,recreate I glued it all down in the, position that I wanted cut some eyes out,of an Old Rag painted the cloth black, glued those on with a hot glue gun,and then I pop that on the sofa and it,turned out so good, even Carl liked it,these slime cups are so stinking cool, all you need are some cool Halloween, cups some slime some glitter some glow, cubes some straws and a couple of,accessories to pop into the cup so the, first thing you're going to do is you're,gonna need some slime you can mix that, with some glitter make it cool I stuffed, the bottom of the cups with some extra, spiderwebs that I had lying around it,kind of makes it look like the bottom of,the jar is filled with a liquid and then, you're gonna mix your slime with, whatever you want glitter beads have fun, with it so I did purple and I did Green,I also had these eyeballs so it kind of,looked like the goo was falling down the, side of the cup and this is ultimately, like a mock cocktail it looks completely, real it's not but it's really cool to be,able to stage in and put that on your, bark heart or on your countertop for, decoration,so that's it I hope that you guys, enjoyed these 10 super easy Halloween, decoration ideas and if you try them, make sure to tag me

DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS *NEW* 2022 (easy + affordable hacks)

DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS *NEW* 2022 (easy + affordable hacks)

what's up market family welcome back to,my channel so today for you guys i have, some dollar tree halloween diys and, these are by far my favorite halloween, diys i have ever done on this channel i,know i'm two months early but if i,waited to upload these videos later in,october, lots of the dollar tree halloween, products are already sold out by then so,i rather do it earlier so you guys can, keep your eyes open for what i used and, purchase them yourself i don't know what,to do next though let me know if you, want another halloween video if you want, fall i don't really know, christmas i have no clue again give me,some input with what you would like to,see next it really really helps me out, anyways i hope you guys enjoyed the, video with that being said let's begin, for our first diy we are going to be,picking up a t-shirt from dollar tree i,recommend getting 100 cottage shirts if,you cannot find 100 cotton shirts just, try to find a shirt that has the highest, percent of cotton that you can find this,is a viral hack i've seen on tick tock i,don't know who originated this i'm just, going to link a generic search so you,can check out other people's take on,this so from dollar tree you want to,pick up some of their diy wood pieces, from the halloween section and then some, bleach and a empty spray bottle you'll,put the bleach inside of the spray, bottle some people add water to their, bleach i went with straight bleach now, take a piece of cardboard or something, similar and place that inside of the, shirt so that the bleach doesn't bleed, through the other side now take your diy, wood pieces and just place them over, your t-shirts next you'll just take your, spray bottle of bleach and start, spraying your shirts and you'll be able,to see the bleach pretty instantly, after about 15 minutes i went ahead and, removed my wood pieces and this is what,i was left with you'll want to rinse, your shirts under cold water and then, just wash them in the washing machine, like you normally would and then it's,good to go how cool are these super, inexpensive and i'm sure you can do this, with other wooden pieces from dollar, tree for our next diy we are going to be,using fake apples from dollar tree what, you want to do is take your hot glue gun,use it on the lowest heat setting and, you're going to create two eyes and a,melted nose wait for the glue to,completely dry and then go over those, areas one more time after they have, dried yet again you're going to start, creating what is the look of like melted, caramel melted poison start at the top,of your apple and work your way down i,tried doing this a couple of times with, different items and i found that hot, glue works the best and that you want to,start at the top of the apple and work, your way down again you're going to want,to wait for the glue to completely dry, before moving on to your next step i,ended up painting some of my apples red, because i didn't have any red apples on,hand and that's what i did with this one,so any area that didn't have the caramel, look to it i added red paint on top of,the hot glue i painted on some neon, green paint and when you're done with, your apples you're going to be left with, something like this how cute are these, things i love them so much i want to,make more of them and do like an entire, territory of just poison apples, for our next diy you want to pick up a,pool noodle from dollar tree as well as,one of the wooden handles from their, toilet plungers what you'll do is you'll,cut down your pool noodle to be almost, the same length as the wooden handle now, you're going to be using this cemetery, vase as the base for what it is that, you're making so it sticks nicely into, the ground go ahead and take the piece,of pool noodle that you cut and glue it,into the cemetery vase and try to push,it down as far as you can then take your, wooden piece and put that through the, center of the pool noodle now i'm going,to be using a ball that i got from, dollar tree i don't recommend doing this,i recommend getting a styrofoam ball a,bigger one at a local craft store what i,ended up doing is taking a bamboo stick, and putting that through the ball and i,was trying to hear if i could hear any,air coming out i heard nothing so i was, like great the bamboo stick plugged the, ball three days later no the air leaked,so that's why i recommend going the, route of styrofoam so what i ended up,doing is i took that ball and i put it,through, the pool noodle i took a couple more of,bamboo sticks and i just stuck them, through the pole noodle and these are, going to be the hands of the ghost that,we are making now get some white fabric, you can even use a white t-shirt from, dollar tree and you are gonna place that, over you're gonna cut it down so that it,looks like a ghost,to tighten the material around the neck, just get a zip tie and tie it into place, next up take some black felt and cut out,two eyes and a mouth for your ghost, once you have those cut out you can go,ahead and glue them just use your hot, glue gun to attach it directly to the, material and you're good to go you have, these fun little ghosts that will be,perfect on a lawn it was actually really, windy that day and they didn't fly off,at all like i said you want to use a,styrofoam ball do not use the ball that,i did and poke a hole through it unless, you got a better way but trust me you,can go ahead and try to hot glue the, ball to the pool noodle and going to,work it's going to come right off if you, want to do the ghost but make it super, easy dollar tree carries these hanging, ghosts and underneath there's this piece,of styrofoam that you're going to want,to glue onto a garden stake so just buy,one of the garden stakes that dollar, tree carries and you can remove the, decorations off of it and use it for, something else, and there you have it a really easy, ghost these are not as big as the other, ghosts but they're simple to do and, they're really cute, next up we're going to be making the, hocus pocus book i've done this before, but this is an easier way from dollar, tree you want to pick up a blank book as,well as their faux leather that you're,going to find near all of the cricket, items so it's a long roll what you'll do,is you'll cut that piece down to wrap, around the inside of the book as well as,the outside once you have that cut down, just glue it into place with your hot, glue gun now we'll be using some fake, eyeballs from dollar tree you're going,to want to go ahead and cut those in,half all you have to do is find the hole, that's in the ball and then put your, scissor through it and that way you'll,be able to cut it in half once you have,it cut in half take the part that has,the iris and glue that onto your book, now this is the most time consuming part,of this diy but it is so easy to do you, just take your hot glue gun and you use,it to create the designs that are on the, book you want to do layers of this so in,the corners of the book there's these, little snake designs so you want to,start off with a layer there and that's,going to be the very base of the design, and once that dries start adding the, snake design over it so it starts to,give it that 3d effect another example, are the stitches and the wounds i,started off making the wounds and then i,waited for that to dry and then i went, over that with the glue again to create, the stitches and that's how i created, the 3d effect after you have all your, designs down it's time to paint, everything i recommend going over every, design except for the eyelid area with, black paint this gives it a really good, base and it gives the paint that you, apply afterwards something to attach to,after i have every area that i want, painted black i then go in with my,colors the only colors i used on the, book itself not the eye were silver, black white and brown paint if you're,into highlighting and shading like i am,all you have to do is dip your finger, inside of the paint and rub it over the, leather it's really easy to blend it,that way versus using a paint brush and, that's how i shade it and i highlighted, the book the only other thing that was, left for me to do was to paint the, eyeball the eyeball of the hocus pocus, book is not yellow i went with blue i,just used some blue paint to paint over, the iris and then black paint to paint, over the pupil a little more i love the,way that this book came out if you, cannot find the leather from dollar tree,i will link my other tutorial down below, for you guys that one i use toilet paper, and anybody can find toilet paper i mean,i guess if it was 20 20 you might not, have been able to find toilet paper but,now you can, this next diy is brilliant and it is,inspired by just step 29 from tick tock,i'll link her down below for you guys if,you want to check out her diy now what, you're going to do is you're going to,pick up some doll houses from dollar, tree now just dab spray painted the, entire dollhouse i didn't want to do,that to some of the trimming so any of,the trimming that was white on the pink, house i pushed out and i placed to the, side i wanted to keep that white before, spray painting you can always sand down, the house so that the spray paint, adheres better to the plastic the spray, paint i used was this rust-oleum flat, black spray paint you can leave your, dollhouse just black i decided to add, some silver, accent to this so i just took a brush, sponge and dabbed some silver paint all, over my dollhouse wherever i saw fit i,then go ahead and push back in the, windows i took out as well as the, trimming around the door, that's how you take those dowel houses, from dollar tree and turn them into, haunted houses i want to thank just deb,29 again on tick-tock i saw when she did, this diy a bunch of people started, taking her idea and not crediting her,and she deserves all the credit it is,such a brilliant idea, moving right along for this project, you're gonna need one of the round, floral bowls from dollar tree and then, you're gonna need something to be the,lid you can make a lid or you can buy,one of these glasses from dollar tree, that already has a lid on it now you'll,need a planter if you can now find one,at your local dollar tree and go to,walmart i got this one for around a,dollar and it's on the larger side so,what i did is i painted my planters and, lids a purple color and a black color, now flip your planters over and glue, that round bowl on top of the planter, next up you're gonna fill your bowls up,with whatever you like i did candy corn,in one and then gumballs and the other i,actually had to pick out the color, combos i wanted we're going to jazz this,up a bit i got some ribbon from dollar, tree i made two small bows i stuck to,the front of my planters and then i got, some diy stickers i went ahead and, placed one of the pumpkins in the front,of my black gumball machine and then i,got these felt stickers from dollar tree, and i placed one of the ghost stickers,in the front of my purple gumball, machine these are really easy to make, and i feel like they would be great, gifts to give to somebody during the, month of october,so i ended up getting these really cute, ghosts at marshalls for about 12.99 each, and i ended up seeing these ghosts at,dollar tree that i feel like had, potential to make them look like the, ghost i bought for marshalls so the, first thing you're going to do is you're,going to remove the felt pieces off of,the front of their face and save some of,those you're going to take the two ones, that were eyes and you're going to cut, them down to be smaller circular eyes, now go ahead and glue those pieces to,your ghost and what was once the nose,i just flipped it around and it became, the mouth so i didn't have to cut a,mouth then i took one of those bat felt, stickers from dollar tree and i placed,it on my ghost so it looked like a,little bow tie i ended up making one, more ghost, but with that ghost i gave it hands and,to make the hands i had to use the, fabric that came from another ghost and,i just cut down pieces,to create those hands so i used the top, portion of the ghost and then i cut some,of the fabric down to create another, hand and i just stuffed it with some of,the cotton that was already there once i,had those hands i go ahead and i glue, them to my ghost and i attached a felt, sticker and the blue felt piece that was, already on the ghost i just put those on,the hands and now i have these two, miniature ghosts that go well with the, other two that i bought from marshalls, now it looks like a family of four now,it's time to make some potions and these, aren't just your normal potions where, you just paint the bottle we're gonna, make these look more realistic so from, dollar tree pick up some glasses any, ones that you like these one i think, work well with the potion look for one,of the potions i took some cotton balls, and i just unraveled them and then i,watered down some gray paint so,basically it was just gray water i used, that to color the cotton eventually it,is going to dry but at first it's just, going to be like these globs don't worry, about it after i have them basically, dyed i go ahead and i stick them inside,of one of my glasses, inside of another glass i went ahead and, just poured in some flour you can use,any type of flour that you like into my,third glass i went ahead and poured some, water and then dyed the water using some, food coloring i just used a red food, coloring to make this kind of look cool, and like a bubble at times i added a,little bit of oil, when you shake it it looks acidic which,i think looks cool for a fake potion now,i went ahead and i created these labels, that i'll link down below for you guys,so you can print them out at home well i,cut them out and i stick them to the, front of my potion bottles so the cotton,is supposed to be werewolf fur the, flower is supposed to be bone powder and, then the water with the oil is supposed,to be arsenic poison i made two more, potions using these smaller glasses and,one of the glasses i added some water, and then i cut down these tinsel stems, that i got from dollar tree i just, placed that inside of the glass and then,i added some dirty water so it wasn't,actually dirty water i just got a brown, paint watered it down to make it look, like it was dirty water and i placed, that inside of the glass and this one,was supposed to be tarantula legs this, one is actually my favorite of them all,and then inside of the other glass i,added water green food coloring and then,i took one of those tinsel stems and, shaped it to kind of look like a snake, and this was supposed to be snake venom,so that's how i created these potion, bottles that have more of a realistic, feel to them versus just getting a glass, bottle and painting it and putting a,sticker on the front of it i think these, look super cool and you can make, miniature versions of these just get the, mini glass containers from dollar tree, they carry ones with the cork and ones, without a cork you're gonna fill them up,with water to fill them with water you,can just use a syringe if you have one,on hand and then just put your food, coloring inside of the glasses you can,mix food coloring together to create a,different color and if the color is too, dark for you just add more water until, you can water it down and get rid of the, darkness inside of some of the glass, containers i poured some of this glitter, glue from dollar tree i got four, different colors poured it right in it,was good to go and then i added my,labels how cute are these tiny potions, they are perfect for a tear tray,i love this hack from dollar tree you,can pick up their one dollar handmade, halloween greeting cards, and these ones look a bit different than, the ones you're gonna find in the main, section these are on their own end cap,and they have more of like a high-end,look to them, then you're going to pick up some, picture frames i recommend getting the,5x7 one or the 4x6,and all you have to do is remove the, contents out of the picture frame and, place the card inside i also recommend, adding the envelope that you took the, card out of just in case you want to,reuse the card or use the envelope as,the backing to your image and then, you're left with these really pretty, pictures for halloween and they were, only two dollars and look how nice these, came out i didn't have to do any, printing i didn't have to use my cricut,it's good to go this is a really easy, way to make another dollar tree image, just get one of their calendars and look, for something that you like i got this, farmhouse calendar and i like the happy, halloween picture that's inside of it so,i go ahead rip that image out of the, calendar i get a picture frame now the, picture frames from dollar tree you're,not gonna find one that holds this image,in it perfectly i'm just using an 8x10,one and i just get the image the best, that i could in the front of the frame, and then i bend the paper you can go,ahead and cut it but i went ahead and, just bent the paper, and place my contents back inside of the, picture frame and that was it i have, this two dollar picture frame and i,still have a bunch of images i could use,and i could switch out in the same, picture frame throughout the year let's,make a crystal ball next from dollar, tree pick up one of their round floral, bowls and you are going to be using, whatever paint you like so i'm going to,be using black and purple paints now, what you're going to do is you are going,to water down the paint so basically, you're just creating a purple colored, water and what you'll do is you'll start,to paint the inside of the bowl now this,is going to give it a translucent look,so the color is still there but it's,still kind of see-through,so you can just pour the water directly,in the bowl move the water around that, way or you can take a paintbrush to it i,did this with my purple paint and i did, this with my black paint,go ahead and let that dry now you'll,need something for the bottom of your, crystal ball i am going to be using this,um it's like a concrete piece that i got, from dollar tree if you can't find this, just get like one of their plates and, painted i went ahead and i painted this, black now inside of the crystal ball i'm,going to be putting some led lights, these are the ghost ones and i got them, from dollar tree go ahead add my,batteries and put those inside of the, ball and then you just place the ball on,top of whatever base it is that you're,using and look how cool this looks you,can even get the projector from dollar, tree and put that against the glass they, have different ones i'm using the, skeleton one for this one it looks super, cool, for our next diy you're going to want to,pick up one of these skeletons from, dollar tree and remove the tag you'll,also pick up one of these tubs and, you're going to find this in the toy, section now what i did is i took the, legs off of the skeleton then i added, some glue to the back of the skeleton, and attached it to the tub,i removed the feet from the legs and, then i glued the two feet to the front,of the tub now get some plastic wrap or,cotton and fill the tub up with that, stuff i decided to paint the plastic, wrap blue and i was like oh heck no so i,flipped it over so there was blue, showing through the plastic wrap but it,wasn't too crazy,to create bubbles inside of the water i,decided to use the leftover eyeballs, that i had i just made sure that i glued, the pupils down so you wouldn't see, those i decided to then make a little, shower cap so i take my plastic wrap, wrap it around the top of the skeleton, and then i painted the plastic wrap, using blue paint i also decided to kind,of create the little rubber band that is,on a shower cap using some hot glue and, some white paint and that's it i just, have this funny little skeleton in a tub, that's good for halloween decor inside,of your bathroom, next diy it's just super easy from, dollar tree you want to pick up some of,their halloween christmas trees at least, two of them because the trees are really, really sparse they don't look good so,what you can do is you can take two, trees and zip tie them together to make,a more full this is the part that's,really easy you can decorate your tree, however you like i'm going to share with, you how i decorated mine i took this web, from dollar tree and i cut it down to be,the garland of my tree and then i glued,on these ornaments that i got from, dollar tree i had two packs total and i,glue them down because if you hang them, off of the little stems it just looks, really sad if you glue them it makes the, tree look more full, dollar tree carries a bunch of different, led lights that you can use to be kind,of like christmas tree lights so i used, this orange one that i liked a lot and, then these little bat lights that i got, from dollar tree, then i decided to add some of those,jack-o'-lantern picks i take the pumpkin, right off the pick and then i just glue, that to my tree as well and i think this, was like the best thing for this, including the lights the lights and the, pumpkins i really liked you can take the,web from dollar tree and just use it as,a christmas tree skirt how cute is this, tree i wish i would have bought two more,to make another tree and i would place, that on top of my tv stand i'm gonna, keep my eyes open at dollar tree because,i would love to make another time for, another simple diy from dollar tree you, want to pick up some books i prefer to,get ones that have a hard cover so if,you can find those i recommend getting, those now you'll paint these books, whatever color you like since it's,halloween i'm going with black paint, specifically a black chalk paint just, because it dries faster, now i'm going to go ahead and freehand, words on these books and by that i mean,i'm just taking paint and doing it,myself if you have a shaky hand or,you're not good at this dollar tree does, carry stencils that you can use to get, wording onto your books what i did was, hocus pocus boo which is brew there's so,many like sayings for these farmhouse, books just google halloween farmhouse, books and you'll find a bunch of sayings,if you're looking for some inspiration, after i had the words painted on i took, some twine from dollar tree and i just, wrapped that around the books and then, tie it into place this part is,completely optional i took the felt, stickers from dollar tree and i placed, some of them on the sides,of the books and then i took the ghost, one and put it right on top of the book, where the twine is and now i have these, halloween farmhouse books something that, always pairs well with the farmhouse, books is wood garland dollar tree right, now is carrying wood and garland just as,this but obviously i want to paint these, for halloween a great way to paint wood, beads is to get bamboo skewers and then,a basket from dollar tree that has like, holes in it so you're able to put the, beads through the skewer and then take, that skewer and place it through the, holes that are inside of the basket,it just makes it easier to paint the, beads now take some twine and feed it,through the beads i'm just using the, twine that the beads were originally on,so i was able to make two bead garlands, using that same twine with the wooden, this particular garland had purple black, green and orange beads then i took the,diy stickers from dollar tree and, specifically this boo sticker and i go,ahead and i tie,my twine around that sticker and these, stickers aren't paper stickers they're,wood stickers so pieces of wood i made, another bead garland this one was purple, black and green beads and the sticker, that i tied around this was the haunted, house dollar tree diy sticker and that's,how i just made these bead garlands, halloweenish and they're perfect for the, farmhouse books like i said just place,it on top of the farmhouse book and, you're good to go we are not done with, potion bottles but bear with me target, bullseye playground carries these potion, bottles that are super popular they fly,off the shelf last year and they're fine, off the shelf this year so i want to try,to recreate them using dollar tree, products so you can buy these glasses, from dollar tree you need ones that have, like a bigger hole to shove things into, they're really hard to find so if you, can't find them hobby lobby carries, these glasses that are a dollar when, they're on sale so i am going to fill, these up to kind of mimic what the, bullseye playground has i do have these, labels i created that i'll link it down, below for you guys our first potion, bottle is going to be shrunken skulls so,i got the skeleton garland from dollar, tree and i ripped the heads off of them,or the skulls off of them and i placed, those inside of my glasses and this is,why i was saying you need a glass that, has a bigger hole at the top so you can,put the things that you want inside of,them if you get the small small ones, from dollar tree you can't stick, anything inside of them i go ahead and i,place my label on the front of that one,for the second one we're gonna do bones,i got these little bones from dollar, tree they are foam so they're easy to,bend inside of your glass, side note that is not dirt under my,nails that's the gray paint i was using, for the werewolf fur lots of times when,i film i'm doing multiple diys in a day,so i was even spray painting some black, stuff when i did my pool noodle diy this, day so you know just because my nails, look dirty that's not what it is it's,just well technically they are but it's,paint it's not actual dirt, now we have the jack-o'-lantern potion, bottle so i'm just using that orange, glitter glue for this bottle,we're gonna be making a spider bottle, and of course you're just gonna put some, fake spiders inside of that bottle for,the zombie dust bottle i'm gonna be,using some green glitter that i got from, dollar tree and then i ended up cutting, off some of like the limbs from that, skeleton garland and i put that inside,of the bottle as well our last bottle is,a bat bottle i got these rings from, dollar tree there's little bat rings, inside of there i went ahead and placed,a few inside of this bottle and now i,have these bottles that are very similar,to the ones that you get at target the, ones from target they're not just, glitter, and water they have little trinkets, inside of them that make them really, really cool for our next diy we're going,to be using pool noodles yet again from, dollar tree and we're going to use the, pool noodle to create a big wreath form, dollar tree does not carry jumbo foam, wreath forms so by using the pool noodle,we're able to make one now all you have,to do is attach the ends of the pole, noodle together i use tape to do this, and by tape i mean masking tape or a,duct tape i've seen people use hot glue, and i don't know how they do that, because, hot glue melts the foam even if i use,the lowest setting of hot glue it just, doesn't work for me it's easier to use, tape it's time to decorate i'm going to,be using these purple roses that i got, from dollar tree and of course i am,going to take the roses off of their, stems and once i've done that i'm able,to glue them onto my wreath really, easily so i'm just placing it wherever i,like, now i glued down some of these ornaments, that i got from dollar tree when you, glue them down you want to glue down the, side of the ornament not where that gold, piece is,if you try to do it that way it just, becomes a big mess and it doesn't go,through the foam as easy as you would, think i'm going to be using these floral, picks from dollar tree but i'm not going,to glue one entire floral pick on its,own to the wreath i do take my wire, cutters and i get individual pieces off,of one stem and i go ahead and i glue, those all around my wreath form now i,went ahead and i glued on some of these, fake spiders that i got from dollar tree, they have them in orange purple and, black i went with the orange and the, purple so there was parts of the pool, noodle that was showing through, everything so to try to cover up as much,as i could i took some ribbon from, dollar tree and cut small pieces that i,created loops out of and i put i went, ahead and glued those to the areas where,i could see the pool noodle still, showing through but i just recommend, painting the pool noodle right away and, that's just gonna make everything so,much easier for you and that's how i,created this jumbo wreath i love it my,favorite wreaths i've ever made from, dollar tree are this one and a christmas, one that i made last year and both of,them were made with the pull noodles and, that's why i love using a pool noodle, because you can make a big wreath versus, just the kind of small ones that you, make normally with the wreath forms from, dollar tree let's make some canvas, images from dollar tree i picked up,their biggest canvas that they carry, this doesn't have a wooden frame it's 11,by 14 inches you also want to get some, type of hanging wall piece that you like,i got this trick or treat one from, dollar tree and i went ahead and removed, the twine off of it now you're going to,get some wooden dowels now i purchased, mine at hobby lobby you can get them at,walmart it just depends on which one you, want how big you want it i got the, little square ones and i think it cost,me around two dollars and i only need a,two for this now i'm sawing them down to,a length that i like and this is going,to be the frame for my picture frame, this tabletop circular saw i purchased, from harbor freight i know you can get,one from amazon and i see j mooney and,i'll link her down below for you guys, she's a very talented dollar tree diyer, here on youtube but i've seen her use,one of these and i know she gets hers, from amazon so i'll link her down below, for you guys you can check her out now,get your wood glue out and use it to,attach all your pieces of wood together,i'm using a wood glue that i got from, dollar tree it's their crafter square, wood work glue i didn't wait for the, glue to completely dry before i moved on,to this next step, you want to wait for it to completely, dry i just went ahead and i painted the, wood now what i did is i took a brown, paint and i just watered it down so that,it became more like a stain and i used, that to essentially stain the wood now i,take my canvas and i glue it to the back,of the picture frame now i take my,hanging art that i got from dollar tree, and glue that to my canvas i detach the, hanging part at the bottom of the sign, and then glued that down separately just,to make it easier not have that string, hanging and there you go you have some, canvas art what i like about this is,it's not the foam board that i tend to,use it's an actual canvas so it looks, really nice moving on to our next diy,it's really easy from dollar tree pick, yourself up some foam pumpkins that you, like and you'll want to remove the stem, off of two of the foam pumpkins, now you're gonna glue your pumpkins on,top of each other whichever pumpkin you, left the stem on that's going to be your, top pumpkin now i originally went with, three pumpkins but later on i decided i,liked two better now pick up yourself a,bucket from dollar tree i got this cute,jack-o'-lantern one and what you're,gonna do is you're gonna place a piece,of styrofoam down at the bottom i just,so happen to have another pumpkin and i,used that instead you'll glue it to the, inside of your bucket and then glue on,the pumpkins that you did,to that whatever styrofoam or pumpkin, that you used inside of the bucket, around the pumpkins i added some floral, moss i went with the one that's a little, bit more brown just because it reminds,me more of fall versus the one that's,more green which reminds me more of,spring and summer you'll be left with, your own kind of pumpkin topiary this is,how it looked with three of them but, then i decided that i liked two butter, and i do really like the way that it,looks with two more another project you,can do with a bucket and the pumpkin is,by making a floral arrangement so get, your bucket put the pumpkin inside you,can add the moss if you like to and then, just pick up some floral pieces from, dollar tree that you really like and, just put them through the pumpkin yes,you can buy floral and stick it directly,in the bucket but with that foam pumpkin, inside of there it makes it so that you,can put whatever piece of floral you, want in a certain spot in that spot and,it stays there it also helps it look, more full and taller so this is what i,came up with with that whole floral, arrangement that i made and basically i,just used the floral picks and then the, eucalyptus that was red and a maroon, color, this is something i did last year but, goes really well with all the potions, that i made especially the mini potions, from dollar tree you want to pick up one,of their wooden drawer boxes you'll take, out the one that's inside put it to the, side user for something else but the, main box you're just gonna go ahead and, start adding toilet paper and mod podge, this is going to give your box an old, feel to it so you put mod podge down, toilet paper on top of that and then, more mod podge over the toilet paper to,seal it into place you could do this all, over the box now you can paint the box, whatever color you like i went with, black i also added a little bit of brown, and a little bit of silver,i'll also be using a dollar tree ruler, that i cut down to fit the front of the,box and i made sure that i painted that,as well now go ahead and glue your ruler,or whatever it is that you're using to,the front of the box i just used hot, glue i had a good amount, and then i went ahead and printed out, this little label that i made that said, mini potion bar and that's what i feel, like goes really well with the mini, potions we just made you can put some, fairy lights in the inside to make it,glow add your potions and it's super, cute and real easy to do you can make a,bunch of these to fit all of your, potions, this one is just stupid easy from dollar, tree pick up any candles that you like, and what you'll do is remove the label, off of the front if there is a label, then just go to google images type in,hocus pocus candle label, salem massachusetts candle label you'll,be able to find some stuff print it out,cut it out glue it to the front of your, candle and then you have some hocus, pocus candles it's really easy to do and, really inexpensive, for our final diy we are going to be,using these vases from dollar tree so,the cylinder vases, and some puff paint there's different, colors you can use i'm going to go with,a black puff paint looking back on it,though i wish i would have went with red,so what you'll do is you'll take your, puff paint and you're going to create, just kind of dripping wax or even like, dripping blood design on the very top of,your glass so you're going to do one, layer of this wait for it to completely, dry and if you like you can add another,it does take a while for the puff paint,to completely dry how long i don't know, exactly usually i just wait overnight, now from dollar tree i picked up some, candle pillars three total now you'll,use a heavy glue like e6000 to glue your, candle pillars together, and your glass to the candle pillars so,i did one tall candle pillar using two,of those candle stands, and then i made one that was a little, bit smaller by just using one candle, stand and then the third one was just, the glass alone, inside of the glasses i put a black, candle that i got from hobby lobby and, then that's just how i made these, halloween candle pillars that's why i,was saying i would show it with red just,so there was a nice contrast between the,red and the black, you

Spooky Upcycled Halloween Decoration Ideas You Can Do Yourself CHEAP

Spooky Upcycled Halloween Decoration Ideas You Can Do Yourself CHEAP

hello YouTube friends and welcome to my,channel if you're new here my name is,Deidra from our upcycled life and I do,lots of thrifting up cycling repurposing, and DIY content and today's video is,rightful of Halloween DIYs everything, from Air dye clay to candles and I'm,excited to show you what I've created, they're Spooktacular okay let's get, started I also want to thank skillshare, for sponsoring today's video our first, project is a spooky one we are going to,be using some air dry clay this is air,dry clay that I picked up at our,Dollarama and I find that it works, really well I'm just rolling it out, until it's about a quarter of an inch, thick and then I'm going to cover a,glass jar that I've primed with some, spray paint and we're going to wrap it,around and then just mold it all over, that entire jar and I had to add a,little bit of clay here and there to get,it completely covered and it doesn't,have to be smooth we actually don't want,to have it smooth I've got it completely, covered over that glass jar I set it,aside let it dry overnight now don't,panic because when this dries this, cracks but that's what we want so now,we've got some toilet paper and I'm just, going to decoupage that toilet paper, onto that jar over top of those cracks, that's going to reinforce it so it'll,all stay together really well you can,use paper towel toilet paper or even, some tissue paper I've printed this, graphic off on my LaserJet printer and,I'm just going to use my ruler and just, rip around the edges I find using this, type of a ruler it gives kind of a,ragged Edge and that's what I'm looking, for for this graphic a little bit of,instant coffee and water and I'm just, dabbing it all over that paper so we can, give it an antique old feel now while,we're waiting for that coffee stain, label to dry I'm just going to use that, same sponge with the coffee solution and, just sponge it all over top of that, toilet paper that we decoupaged on that, jar it's going to give it a really old, antique feel and it's going to seep into, all of of those cracks and crevices my,coffee stained label is all dry and I,have some of this dye ink and I'm just, going to rub it around that ragged edge,of the paper just to give it a little, bit of more of an aged look and then,we're going to decoupage it right on top,of that jar just going to put a light, amount over that whole label and then,Center it right where we want it on the,jar and we've taken a glass jar from the, recycling bin and upcycled it into a,really spooky piece of Halloween decor a,little tip when you're working with a,jar and it's rolling around grab your, lint roller and it'll stick to it and, keep it in place while you're working, with it on the table once I have, everything in place I'm just taking the,mod podge and putting a light coat over, the label and the rest of the jar I went, out to my garden and I looked for some, old weeds and some dead flowers to fill,it up with and how easy was this to,create a really spooky piece of,Halloween decor for your home, foreign, next project I had this Candlestick it,was already black but I want to make it,even more spooky and I had this pillar, candle that I picked up at the dollar, store I'm going to incorporate that into, this project now if you want to create, some faux rust this is a great tip get, some mod podge and just dab a little bit,on wherever you think it would have, naturally aged or naturally rusted just, dab it on here and there and then while,it's still wet you're going to take your, cinnamon and you're going to sprinkle it,right into that mod podge and then, you're going to set it aside and let it,dry, now we're going to customize a candle I,made my own napkin this is a really neat, technique I have a full tutorial if you, haven't seen that I'll put the link Down,Below in the description but you can, basically make any of your own custom, napkins I printed this off on my,LaserJet printer and we're going to add,it onto that pillar candle we're going,to get some wax paper and with the waxy, side we're going to wrap it really, tightly around that candle Bunch it up,at the back and then we're going to use,our heat gun and we're going to apply, heat to that napkin and candle and as,the wax melts that napkin is also going,to melt right into that candle if you, don't have a heat gun you can also use a,hair dryer and just have it on the, highest setting you'll be able to tell, when it's finished because the wax will, have soaked right through to that napkin, peel away the wax paper and you're left, with a spooky graphic on your candle,I've made these candles before and I've,had some people concerned about whether, the napkin would catch fire as it burned, down I've never had that issue but, here's a way to solve that burn the, candle down until you can get a votive, right in the top of it and then you can, just replace the votive and you'll never, use up that candle also and it'll last a,long time I've let the Mod Podge dry and,I'm just wiping away any of that extra, cinnamon and as we do that it's going to,leave a really rusty look, then I'm going to seal it up with some, matte poly acrylic sealer so we've taken, that black plain Candlestick and made it,look Rusty and old I also had this mason, jar lid and I am going to just use my,gorilla glue and glue it on the top and, this is what I created, haha, next project is a scrap piece of wood, that I've painted with some black and, white homemade chalk paint and a bat, that I found at a yard sale this summer,I really distressed both pieces with, some 80 grit sandpaper making it look, old and spooky and I'm going to take, some of my green acrylic paint and I'm,just going to flick it everywhere on top,of that sign just so it looks like it's,chippy and old I'm going to put a,graphic on this using my Mod Podge, reverse graphic transfer method printed, this off on my LaserJet printer making, sure to reverse the text and we're going,to use a Mod Podge mat all of these,Graphics that I'm using today and any of,these projects are available in my Etsy, store so you can head over there after, the video and check them out putting a,light coat over that whole piece of,computer paper gonna Center it where I,want it on the sign and then set it,aside and let it dry for 24 hours after, the 24 hours we're going to dampen it,with a little bit of water rub off all,of that paper and we're going to be left, with a spooky graphic on our sign now I,wanted to go in and those little drips,of blood I've taken my acrylic paint and,I'm just painting on any of those drips, with the red paint and just making it,look like it's drippy and gory,I went through my stash and I found this,Old Spring not even sure what it was off,of but it's going to work perfect for, this sign I have these little Staples,I'm going to put one on each end of the, sign and then I'm going to wire that, spring on the top so it creates a really, fun hanger for this sign so here's our, before, and here is what I created,if you appreciate a good DIY project you, need to subscribe to skillshare if,you've ever had any questions or just, want to learn more about crafting then, skillshare is a place of skillshare,so try it out and let me know what you, think, next project is another candle I had, both of these in my stash for a long, time but I knew I could transform them, into something really spooky for,Halloween gonna mix up some baking soda, paint and apply it all over that, candlestick holder if you haven't never, made baking soda paint it works, fantastic creates really great texture,I'll put a link Down Below in the, description so you can check it out once,it's almost dry I'm Gonna Roll it in mud, just roll it so it gets in all those, little nooks and crannies and push it,right in so it looks grubby and dirty, and then I'm going to set it aside and,let it dry now I'm going to go in with, some gold metallic paint some acrylic, paint that I picked up at Michael's and,I'm just going to dab it here and there, almost like a dry brush on any High, areas where it was raised on the, candlestick, not adding very much just a little bit, here and there then I'm going to set it,aside let it dry completely and then I'm,going to seal it up with some matte, clear poly acrylic sealer I've put the, taper candle in the candlestick holder, and now I've taken another votive and,I'm lighting it and what I'm going to do,is as everything is burning down and, melting I'm going to melt some more wax,so it drips down that candle so it gives, that old really antique look to that, candle as if it's burned forever and, just dripped all over the place and just,be really careful doing this process we,don't want to burn ourselves or get any,hot wax on us and I'm just rotating the, candle around so it's dripping, everywhere so here's our before, and here is what I created,I hope you enjoyed today's Spooktacular, upcycles and I'd love to know down in,the comments which one was your favorite, thanks for watching have a great day and,we'll see you in the next video and if,you love this video I'm sure you'll love, either of these next to

10 INEXPENSIVE AND EASY DIY HALLOWEEN DECOR IDEAS | Using materials you already have | If Only April

10 INEXPENSIVE AND EASY DIY HALLOWEEN DECOR IDEAS | Using materials you already have | If Only April

hi guys, welcome back to if only april today we,have some very very special episode and,it is,how to make very budget friendly super, easy, decorations for halloween because yes i,know halloween is two months away but,you know, time flies so fast these days and you're,not even gonna notice when halloween, gonna approach you,so be prepared don't overspend money, this, this year and uh just create awesome, decorations,on the budget using mostly recycled, materials,i'm not gonna lie i already posted this, video last year and, actually was my first video that i ever, created and uh,because i was such a newbie i had no,idea that i can't use a regular music so,i got a copyright strike ouch oops, but i had one very cool fact uh that i,said back there so i want to include it,to this video too,so listen to this before we're gonna get, started,hi guys my name is april i'm so glad, that you're here by the way did you know, that americans spent about nine billion, dollars,on halloween candy costumes and, decorations isn't it insane guys,it comes down that average american, spends about 90 dollars every year on,halloween, when the halloween is over everything's,going to be in the garbage anyways so,what's the point so here's my ideas of,how to decorate your house on the budget, using mostly recyclables and things that, you already have,so let's do it,i have to say i absolutely love this, little ghost project, and you don't really need anything, besides the napkin and uh,some sort of thread that you can make, the hat with uh,and then you just draw the eyes and, you've got yourself some, little spooky ghosts, how adorable are they i mean i,absolutely love it,you can also make like a garland uh from, those all like, put them on the stick and make them, separately coming out from, all the different places, this project is so old but it's so good,i mean,to create those bets from people you, just need some, papers card stock and uh yeah just like, make a template, and cut out um the bets out of it i use, the, double tape to to stick it to the, cardstock so it doesn't slide,uh slide in different directions so it,made so much easier and look at this, aren't they awesome,i feel those beds are so versatile and, they can, create like this spooky image anywhere,in any room and,can add so much of a halloween mood to,any, any room, this next project is pretty cool too i,mean you could use, actually the plastic plastic spiders, from dollar store but i didn't want to,clutter my house with those little, creatures so i just created mine from, the, fuzzy sticks and it was such a great, craft to do it with the kids so sasha, was helping me along the way to,make all of them that's why they look a,bit um,a bit scoot in some some places but then, you just glue them on a pumpkin, and you create some spooky weird looking, pumpkin that's covered by spiders you,can only guess where they're going,i actually painted all my pumpkins in,very very weird colors last year and it,was so much fun but,if you want to read more about it you,can go to my blog and, there is an article about how i painted,my pumpkins and what i would do,different this year, this next craft is super awesome because, you can just take one this one of those, reds from dollar store and, trace them on the paper to make a,silhouette out of it,and then uh when it's done when you cut,it out,you just put it on the stairs and uh in,the darkness they look like,so creepy and i have to say i was, shooked every time i would walk i would, pass by them, even my kids get a bit scared of this, red invasion,uh this project is super awesome super, cheap,i mean it's practically for free and, this cardboard from the paper towel, then you drip the hot glue and uh,to create this kind of like a candle wax, kind of this look of the wax coming down, the candle then you put the, regular candle in it,paint this thing white or like any color, you want, and uh yeah and just like we're gonna, hang it later, the next project is to use the milk jars, and like just to cut out,the hole in between so i didn't have, milk jars so we just use the, water ones i have to buy water for them,i have to say we never buy water like, this but, yeah and look what effect it creates, the next project i call my failed, project, because i was trying to cut out from the, garbage bag this, awesome spider webs and it did not go as,planned but,if you're more crafted than me then, probably you can try and,let me know in the comments if it works, for you or not, next project i really love that next, project because you can just use this, candles from the dollar store you need a,pack of red and a pack of whites and, then you just make this, bleeding with blood the candles, and i use the kombucha bottles, recycled kombucha bottles to make, create this like cool labels and if you, want to print out these labels i have a,link on my blog i'm going to leave you,the link below, and you can make them for myself i think, they would look pretty awesome too on,the, wine bottles maybe i'm going to do this, this year,oh this was also the project that didn't,go,exactly as planned so i took the, cheesecloth and, damped it in the uh cornstarch so in,hopes that it's gonna, create like it's hope it's gonna get, like sticky and it's gonna, create a ghost but uh yeah,it did not i don't think i added enough,of starch so that's why they really work,as planned, the next project is yeah i think this is,one of my favorites so you just need a,couple of garbage bags, and some people like use the balls you, know like from styrofoam but i kind of,feel this is a waste of,waste of material so i just used the, paper towel and,it worked totally fine you cut out the, edge of the, garbage bag you put this the ball of the, paper towel, inside and then you tie it to create, like a little ghost,i use double bags because if i use just, one bag,and the wind comes it doesn't look as,good because it shows the stick, underneath so,double use the second bag on top of it,and cut it on the sides to create this, effect when the wind comes and, after that we're going to put the stick, inside, and draw a face, look at this little ghost i mean how, creepy is here,he it how creepy is it it so then the,tie the rope, around the stick for it to hold,so it doesn't fly away with the wind oh,and you can draw like all the different, faces, like a scary one the one who is uh,wandering or like the funny one and look,at this magic,i have to say all neighborhood loved it,they kind of it's kind of like a little, creepy dance,of the ghosts,my daughter was super excited about them, too, and as a bonus project this is the, body bag which is practically just like,a big black, garbage bag stuffed with the garbage,it looks super creepy thanks so much for, watching guys i hope you're gonna save, some money this, halloween and you you're gonna make your, decorations yourself which are gonna, save you,so much money you're gonna have so much, fun and overall it's gonna be super, exciting,uh if you're new here please follow me,on my instagram and don't forget to hit, that notification bell button and, subscribe button too i mean, just hit them all all at once,i'll see you next week bye i hope to be,back every thursday but uh with the kids, you know we'll see how it goes, bye till next time

DIY HALLOWEEN DECOR You ACTUALLY Want to Create! ūüéÉ Dollar Tree Home Decor Ideas!

hey guys welcome back to my channel it,is drew here from alone fox,and today we have a super super exciting, video because if you guys did not know, halloween is probably one of my absolute, favorite holidays,i think it's one of the most nostalgic, ones for me for some reason it's the one, that i can remember the most of and it's,like the ones that i have the best, memories of i just really really love, the month of october for some reason so,this month for me is really really, exciting and,i asked you guys over on instagram and,on my youtube community tab if you, wanted to see a halloween, decor diy video and some people were, like yes please please please do it and,i too myself was like i've never done a,halloween diy video so let's go ahead, and do that for you guys, today and if you are not already make, sure to subscribe to my channel it is,100 free click that little red subscribe, button down below and also click the, bell icon next to it that way you are, notified every time that i upload a,brand new video which is normally about, twice a week so you don't want to miss, out on a really fun loan fox content so,today i'm gonna be doing, five diy halloween decor ideas and i,feel like a lot of the times you can go,to the stores and you can buy a generic, kind of cheesy halloween decor that's,scary whatever it might be i'm sure a,lot of you guys know exactly what stores, offer during halloween time however it,is really hard to find aesthetically, pleasing really really cute halloween, decor for your space if you do like that, more elevated look and that is exactly, what i want to give you guys today and, last but not least don't forget to,follow me over on instagram it is lone, fox home it's really really fun over, there and you can also check out my,online store it is lonefox.com,where i sell home goods and diy supplies, there's actually currently a promotion, running right now get 10,off using code autumn at checkout but, let's jump into these really cute, halloween diy, decor ideas, already guys so jumping into our first, project here we are going to be using, two glass faces from the dollar store, and i'm also going to be using a ton of,hot glue the supplies for this project, are super minimal but we will be needing,a lot of hot glue so make sure you have, some spare sticks on hand so what we're,going to be doing is actually creating a,faux drip texture to the top exterior,of this vase here which then is going to,be painted over and kind of looks like a,dripping, candle in a scent so i'm going around, and using my hot glue,to create these drips you can actually, just apply a lot of it and kind of let,it run down itself,or you can create them if you kind of,hold it horizontally to your table and, this is what it should look like when, you're completely done adding those, drips on there, and you're going to be repeating the, process on your second base or your, third base however many you want to,create and this is what both of mine, ended up looking like, however once you add your first layer i,think it's really nice to go in and add,a second and even a third layer on top,of your drips, that way it looks like the wax has been, building up over time and it just looks,a little bit more realistic,i found these packs of holiday votives, and they had battery operated tea lights,in them so i pulled those to the side, and i'm going to be using a bit of matte, black spray paint which i'm just going,to spray into the lid and then paint, onto all of the white portions of this, tealight candle that way it blends in,with our final candle once it is,completely done, just make sure not to paint the flame of,course, once those are all done i grabbed a,couple of popsicle sticks and i'm going,to be cutting these down to be the, interior width of,our vase so i cut off one end then i'm,measuring it and kind of cutting off the, second end and this is going to fit, perfectly on the inside and we're,basically creating like a little, pedestal for a tea light to sit on,because,i want to elevate it towards the top as,opposed of having it towards the bottom, there so our tea light will sit on there, nicely and i'm going to repeat the same, process to the second vase, and once you're all done with that these, are ready for a coat of spray paint so,bring them outside and give a generous, coat of matte black spray paint making, sure to hit,all the little crevices all the cracks, and that really finishes off these, tealight holders they're super cute, and also very modern at the same time,i'm pretty sure you guys all know by now, that i love a good wreath whether it is,christmas time, fall time summertime whatever it is i,always create a themed wreath so we're,going to be doing a halloween one today,so i found these really great kind of,like tree branch style, stems at joann's fabrics in the, christmas section and i got them for 50,off and i brought them outside and i'm,going to be again giving them a nice, coat of black spray paint making sure to,honestly give them like a double coat, because, you're going to want to hide all that, glitter however the glitter on the, underside creates a really fun texture,so,this is what they look like once they're,all dried and i'm going to be using, three of these ones that were previously, silver as kind of the base for my wreath, and then i'm gonna add, more as i go so i'm gonna curve all, three of them around and kind of place, them around the exterior rim and by the,way guys this wreath form that i'm using,is from the dollar tree,in order to secure down my first layer,on any wreath i really like to use wire, and i add a couple pieces of wire on,each stem just to make sure that it's,fastened, securely to the base as opposed to hot, glue because sometimes hot glue can come, free,i like gluing on top of my first layer, but my first layer is always wired down,so i wire down all of these pieces using,a little bit of a thin wire that i found,in the floral section at michael's,so that's what i'm doing here, this is looking awesome so far but i do,want to make it just a little bit more, full so with my other stems i kind of,look a little bit more like tree, branches which i love i think these, really really elevated the look and just, filled it in,i'm going to be kind of picking them off,and cutting them at different lengths, and sizes, just to fill in any section that i feel, like needs a little bit more fullness, and this, really is going to elevate your wreath, and just make it look a lot more, expensive, and overall just make it appear a lot, prettier if you guys know what i'm,talking about so that finishes off this, wreath you can get another coat of spray, paint if you feel like you need to,but i'm really excited with how this, piece turned out,now i know not everybody is into those, scary halloween decorations so this is a,super super, cute alternative option if you just want,to add a little bit of holiday cheer to,your home,so i'm going to start off by grabbing a,couple pieces of holiday fabric these, are actually fat quarters from joanne's,fabrics,so i got these in a couple variating, colors just in oranges and blacks to,make a nice pretty aesthetic in the end,and i'm going to be cutting them down to,nine inch by nine inch squares these are, going to be for the smaller styrofoam, balls, and then the larger squares are going to,be about 13 inches by 13 inches and, those are for our larger styrofoam balls,to create the little ghost all i'm doing,is adding a bit of hot glue placing it,down on the wrong side of the fabric and, then adding more glue around the, styrofoam ball and, literally just overlaying it on top and, pulling the fabric, down now you can totally go ahead and,add a string and kind of tighten it as,you would for a tassel however i didn't,want it to have that like cinched, look where it kind of comes in on the, tassel you know i wanted the fabric more,so to look like it's flowing and just, falling off of a circular shape so this,is kind of like the head of the ghost if,you will and then everything's kind of,falling downwards,is more so i guess the ghost's clothing,i don't really know what you call this, part of the ghost to go spotty, but um i'm just going around adding hot, glue and just pulling the fabric down, you kind of want to let gravity do its, thing and just let the fabric fall and, then, glue it and then pull it down and let it,fall into place and then once you're,done, you're pretty much done that's how, you're gonna be creating these ghosts is,super super simple but i created i think, about nine of them, now that we have all of our ghosts it is,time to string them onto a string to,create the garland so i got an,embroidery needle and some string and,i'm just going to kind of just, pick at the top of the fabric and go,through just a tiny little piece there, and then tie it into a single knot right,on top to secure that ghost, into place and in between each of the, ghosts i actually ended up using about, nine, inches of string so i brought out a,ruler measured nine, inches and then i strung through on my,next ghost again just going through just,a little bit of that fabric on the top, side where the styrofoam ball is,and then i brought it over to my ruler, there and made sure that there was a,nine inch spacing in between each of,them, and then tied it into a simple little, single knot and you're just gonna repeat, this all the way down until you have all,of your ghosts, strung onto your garland, project number four is probably the, quickest simplest easiest, fastest and most inexpensive project,i've ever done here on my channel but, sometimes those are the best ones i,think so what i'm going to start off by,doing is actually hot gluing the bottom, side of one of these spider web bowls, that i found at the dollar tree, and i'm going all the way around just, making sure that i add a generous amount,of hot glue on the bottom, and then i'm going to be gluing on top,of that the second bowl, now this is going to be creating a kind,of like tiered bowl which is similar to,that terra cotta candle that i created, that everyone, loved in my dollar tree video but i'm,also giving this a nice coat of,matte black spray paint because the, bowls were kind of like a glossy plastic, and i wanted them to be a little bit, more matte i just thought it would look, quite nice with this bowl shape so i,went around and i sprayed it with a,matte black finish and that finishes off, this really cute spiderweb candy bowl,a few weeks back on instagram i shared, with you guys this really cute starry, night rattan style pumpkin that i,created for a little instagram pumpkin, swap that i was doing and i thought why,not also do a video tutorial on it so,our final project is how to create this, pumpkin so i'm starting off with one of,these, faux foam carvable pumpkins now this one, guys is from joanne's however i do not, suggest this one,it was so challenging to cut through i,got my last one at michaels and i can, tell you it was so much easier to cut, through i don't know what it is if it's,made of a different foam or something, but the michaels one is much much much, easier,so what i started off by doing which i,know i've kind of already gotten into, this a little bit,but i'm going to be cutting out a ton of,different star shapes and then i also, wanted to add a little moon as well a,little crescent moon so that is what i'm,tracing out here i just kind of freehand, everything however i do have a pack of,star cookie cutters that i kind of use,as a reference for some of the larger, star shapes, but any of the smaller stars i honestly, just kind of create your generic star, that you learned in elementary school, and then i cut it out so i just did a,whole ton of stars all the way around, tracing them in tons of different, various shapes and sizes, just to get a nice variety and kind of,make it again look like a little starry, night, now i actually had to make all of the, cuts off camera because the angle i was, filming,at and the strength of this foam pumpkin, was just not allowing me to cut them so,i ended up cutting all the shapes off, camera, and then it took me about half an hour,to do so the thing i love about these, pumpkins is that you can reuse them each, year which is amazing so then what i did,was i grabbed some black acrylic paint, and put in a little container there and, added a bit of baking soda to create, that really nice ceramic paint that, everyone's been doing lately, and this just gives kind of like a,ceramic finish to the outside of your, pumpkin, now you can totally leave it orange if,you'd like to however i wanted to go in,and do a black one this time because my,first one that i created for instagram, was actually like a creamy white tone,so i thought having a black one and just, doing a little bit of variation so you, guys can see two different color ways of,this pumpkin would be really really nice,so,i went on and painted a generous coat of,this black paint which again is that, kind of ceramic finish baking soda vibe, which we all have been loving lately, and of course you can't forget to paint, the little top section as well i just, used a smaller brush for this to get a,nice detailed edge alongside of the stem, there, and next what i did was i grabbed a,little bit of this rattan material which, you guys all know i use in a lot of my,projects i get it at a local shop here,in los, angeles and i'm using i first started, off with a bit of crazy glue which, honestly did not work at all and it got,all over my fingers which was quite, annoying,so what i ended up doing which is what i,did with my first pumpkin was i actually, just used sewing pins so i bring the, rattan material inside, and i grab a couple of sewing pins and i,secure it at all four corners into the, foam material, now you're gonna have to use a faux, candle in this anyways so the sewing, pins cannot be seen, and that really finishes off this really, cute starry night pumpkin, and you made it to the end i hope that, you guys enjoyed those halloween diy, decor, ideas as much as i loved creating them, for you they were so much fun and i'm,really really excited to decorate my,mantel with them a lot of them i,actually think are going to go on my,mantel area because it's a pretty focal, prominent point in my living room i,really love how these pieces to me kind,of feel timeless they're definitely, pieces you can keep for year after year, and you're never going to get bored of,them because they're very simple but of,course very halloweeny and perfect to,decorate for the season,i love the word halloweeny by the way,and also we cannot forget how budget, friendly these are almost every single, project was made using pieces from the, dollar tree so you're also saving a,little bit because i know not everyone, wants to spend on halloween decor,so this is just a little way to add a,bit of festivity to your home while also, saving a little bit of money and yes so,that finishes off today's video i hope, that you guys enjoy these projects i,absolutely love the way they turned out,and i want to thank you guys so much for, joining me today i hope you're having an,amazing october as well, and do not forget to also subscribe to,my channel foreign, getting decorations out of the attic,he's so excited Derek, that one's my favorite, isn't that the one you said not to get, yeah, but he's just so cool he's pulling out,all of the Halloween decorations for me,because we are finally going to be,decorating the inside of the house for,Halloween today it's like halfway, through the month but better late than, never I guess all right so Derek has, everything out of the attic and this is,way more than I remember having for some, reason I thought we had like just three, totes of things and, this is definitely more than three totes, and it's a mess so I think I'm going to,start out by sorting through it a little, bit just giving it like a quick glance, over and separating things into, different totes because I do have an,idea of what I'm going to be doing in,the playroom like most of the ghost,Decor is going to go into there and then, most of the skeleton things are going to,be here in this front living room it's,going to be way more spooky in here I'm,so excited to go kind of flow from like, our front porch area and that door, knocker through the rest of this room, and then there are things that are like, clearly designated for the kitchen stuff, like that so I think that's what I'm,gonna do to make this just a little, easier on myself I hope that you guys, are ready for some extreme Halloween, decorating today because we are doing, the most we've got all of the decor out,to decorate inside of my home and we're,going to work on all the main living, spaces today so we've got this front, living room area my kitchen and then, also our playroom slash family room and,we're gonna be putting out Decor through, all of those rooms throughout the entire, house and I just I'm so excited for it I,love decorating for Halloween and I love, sharing it with you guys so I really, hope that you enjoy this video and if,you are new here hi hello welcome my,name is Megan and I am obsessed with not, only the spooky season but just the, holiday season in general I feel like, that kicks off in October with Halloween, and it carries through until New Year, and I look forward to this time of year, all year long I go over the top with my,decorations I decorate outside of my,house and inside of my house and I share, all of that with you so if that sounds, like your Vibe definitely make sure that, you give this video a thumbs up and, subscribe if you aren't already because,I've got so much holiday content coming,at you over the next few months and I,don't want you to miss it but anyway we,have it started out here in the front, room of our house when you open the, front door it's just into this open, large living room so this is our, designated entryway that I'm working on,right now and I love how this turned out, this is actually the first time that I'm,ever using these bat Decor things in my,house I feel like this is just standard, influencer Decor but I promise this is,the first time that I've ever done it,and I love them I can totally see why,all the influencers use them it added, something extra special to that space, and really brought it all together and I,feel like it created like a flow from, our outside decorations into the inside, now I've already filmed our outside,Halloween decorations my husband and I,set up like a creepy Cemetery display in,our front porch and on our front step I,love the way that it turned out I'm so,proud of it and so happy with it and so,is Derek like literally the night that,we had put all of that up he got a,camping chair and some hot chocolate and,sat out in our driveway and just looked,at the lights at night time because he,was so happy with them all of our, neighbors have been coming by and saying, how much they love it and appreciate it,and they always look forward to our, holiday decorations so it just makes my,heart so happy to hear all of that, feedback but anyway if you haven't seen, that video already it's a good one so,definitely make sure that you go back, and watch it I'll leave it linked in the,I card and in the description box for,you in case you're wanting to check it,out you'll also find links to everything, that you see in today's video down in,the description box or at least, everything that I can find online I like,to keep that updated and relevant for,all of the videos that I share just so,that it's really easy and convenient if,you see something you like you can just, browse through the description box and, then there's a link right there that'll,take you to the website where you can,buy it if you want it now I do want to,say that those are affiliate links which, means that I earn like a one percent, sale on most of them when you use those, links to do your shopping and I,appreciate that so much but if links, aren't your thing I will do a little, room tour after I decorate in each room, and tell you where I got everything if,you'd rather go shopping in person and,if you're seeing this and feeling so,overwhelmed like this is too much decor, for you I totally get it it's not for, everyone if you enjoy more minimal,Halloween decor then my friend Whitney, has a channel for you it's called,Whitney P I'll leave a link down in the, description box she is the best at,minimal and intentional home decor for,all seasons and holidays and then if you, have your fall decorations up and just, want little pops of Halloween Lauren,Yarbrough is the girl for you I'll also, leave her Channel linked down in my,description box her Halloween this year,is chef's kiss so sorry if you can hear, the rain in the background but I think, that I have finally got most of this, main living room all finished or at,least as finished as it's going to be,today I'm liking how it turned out I do,feel like it flows pretty well from like, our front porch spooky Cemetery area, into like the main house living area and,I'm pretty sure this entryway is my,absolute favorite this is my first year, ever decorating with like these bats, that you stick on the wall and things, and I know it's like standard influencer,Decor but I've just never used them, before and I really like them they came, from Michael's they were super, affordable and they're also surprisingly, easy to move and I didn't get like any, sticky things stuck onto the wall or the, mirror and then down in our entryway, table I wanted to have it decorated but, still functional so I did keep our shoe, baskets but then in these little like, cubby areas here I just added in a white, pumpkin and a spooky spider and then, this little spider web bowl that I got, from the target dollar spot last year or,the year before and a bunch of fabric, pumpkins that I also got from the target,Dollar spot the same year that I got, this,up on top I brought in this bat picture, this was a Kirkland's clearance find I,want to say two years ago and I kept, this little candy dish that's got these, caramel chocolates in them because the, orange color is really good for,Halloween and then I added in this, little skeleton clock tower I want to,say we found this at home sense or home, goods and I really really like it and, then I swapped out our tray for this one, with the skeleton and crossbones it's,just black metal I got this from TJ Maxx, last year I believe and then I also, added in this spooky tree that I got, from Target this year it was in the hide, and eek section over on the other side,to keep that bat theme going I hung up,this Garland last year I had it on our, mantel place but this year I decided to,put it in the windows and I'm really, glad that I did good it ties in well, with this second spooky tree that I put, over here and then I did switch the, skeleton stack out for this skeleton, candelabra we got this from home goods, and then these like bone taper candles, came from Michael's and I just added in,a tiny little pumpkin there I did keep, our mail tray because again it's,functional we actually live here so we,need it to stay functional but I love, the little Halloween accents and then, down here I just added in that black, pumpkin on top and also some skeleton, vase filler into that little like, decorative Bowl thing and then over on,the couch I have a white neutral pillow, and then a trick-or-treat pillow this, was another Kirkland's clearance find, either last year or the year before we,have this Skelly that Sawyer picked up,from Home Goods this year and he's,holding this little trick-or-treat,jack-o-lantern this actually came from,My Best Friend's Wedding he got married, quite a few years ago on Halloween with,a Halloween themed Kinsley was the, flower girl and so that was like her, thing that she had the dried petals in,and we've just kept it ever since it's,so sweet and sentimental to have that, like as decor and keep it around on the, other chairs I just put these um,Black-ish pillows to bring in all those, black colors and then over on this, little stool I put a I'm not even sure, what this would technically be called,it's like a little telephone thing it,does have batteries and it is like a toy, almost our kids love to play with it we,got it from Target a couple of years ago,and then right beside it this really, spooky skeleton that I absolutely love I,think I took the sticker off so I'm not, exactly sure where it came from but I'm,sure it was either Home Goods or TJ Maxx, and then this fireplace face was, actually kind of tricky for me not so,much the fireplace but definitely the, bookshelf on our little mantle here I,just have two spooky trees that came, from the target dollar spot a few years, ago and this sign that says beware that, came from Kirkland's a couple of years, ago,I also have this skeleton stack that was,on that little bookshelf next to the, front door but I thought it looked, better over here and some spooky, pumpkins to Accent both up on The Mantel, and then down here on this little chest,I would love to be able to move this out,of the way and then have that skeleton,in his Royal seat right there with a,pumpkin next to it but I'm not quite, sure where I could put this wicker trunk, right now so for now this is what we've,got going on but I do think I'm gonna, try to figure out another place to store, this so that I can make that change to,the decor because I think it would look, really cool and then over here on the, bookshelf I wanted to put that guy that, skeleton in his Royal chair up here I,think you guys saw me try I ended up,marking up the ceiling if you can see up,there because he just barely did not fit,I was so upset about it so instead I,just put this little skeleton head with,a crow on it and then,in here I have some faux black candles, and a little gunmetal colored also metal, material pumpkin, down here I just have a spider on top of,these boxes and a black glass pumpkin on,the other side I would have loved to,like take all the decor out of here and, completely redo all of it but I didn't,have enough to be able to do that which,is fine it just means that we'll,continue adding to our collection over, the next couple of years but overall,I do really like the space I'm happy, with how it turned out if you have any, suggestions or anything that you guys, would change feel free to leave that, down in the comment section, but now we're going to move on into the, kitchen now moving into my kitchen I,brought in this tote of Decor that I had, designated for my kitchen space and I,started unpacking it and then I realized, that I still had a ton of my like, everyday Decor that was out that either, needed to be swapped out or needed to be,stored away so I'm very quickly going to,do some decluttering in this area put, some things away to make room for the,new since this space is so small I do,have to do this every time that I,decorate in the kitchen but there's not,a lot of Decor so it really doesn't,bother me too much to have to do it it's,just a real quick fix and then I can get,on to the Halloween decorating, thank you, thank you, every year I feel like across social, media Tick Tock Instagram reels,Pinterest posts blogs these little kids, baskets for holidays seem to go viral, all the time and it's no wonder why they, seriously are so cute but also really, easy and inexpensive to put together so,I have never done one before but I,wanted to put one together for my girls, since they are hosting a little,Halloween get-together with their, friends this year and I love the way, that this turned out and so do they, foreign, foreign, foreign,so this is how the kitchen turned out,and I've got to say I am really loving,it I know my kids are gonna love this, little basket for them it is so cute, this is my first year doing one of these, and I think that this is going to be,something I'm going to try to do for, every major holiday I did just add in,this little spooky tree right here just,to kind of pull it together because it,did look just a little bit random, sitting by itself but every single item, here came from Target so I think I,actually got this from Target a couple,of years ago in the Target dollar spot, and then this little basket is in the,Target dollar spot this year I got these, cookie cutters from Target last year and, then all of these little plates napkins, and straws came from Target this year as,well but this is such a cute and, inexpensive way to bring a little bit of,the spooky season into your home and not, have to store it when the season has, done for the rest of the kitchen you can,see that we have very limited countertop, space so instead of overwhelming it with,a bunch of Decor I just wanted to keep, things really minimal and very, functional but still have touches of,spooky in here and I love the way it,turned out especially this tray that I,have next to my stove top I love this so,much I used to have like a stoneware, marble one that stretched across the, whole countertop but I swapped it out,for this charcoal colored one that I,found at home goods and I really like it,I also think it'll probably be easier to,clean and then I just cut my oil and, vinegar bottles on there because I use, them often and I took up this little, space here with my marble spoon rest, that I also use every time I cook and I,kept this serving board back here from, the spring collection of Hearth in hand, and then just added in these two, skeleton spooky touches I love this, black skeleton head on the pedestal I,think he is so cool and perfect for this, space I'm pretty sure I found him at TJ,Maxx and he was only ten dollars so a,really nice piece of affordable Decor, that I know I will keep for years to,come and then this serving board back, here has an etched Skeleton on it and,it's in the shape of a coffin that's,from the threshold brand at Target this, year I just think it's so cool and I,love the way that that turned out on the, other side of the stove I just kept our, knife block which works out because it's,black and then I swapped out our, cookbook stand it used to be like a wood, and this one is a black metal and also, the cookbook that was in it now has a,black binding I swapped out our utensil, crock it was very like spring summer, looking before so I thought that this, white marbled one would be neutral, enough for the Halloween decor and then, instead of keeping all of the wooden, utensils I also also added in some of,our black silicone ones and some, stainless steel just to bring in those, spooky colors again and then this little, lamp back here is really the star of the, show even though it's so simple but we,don't have any under cabinet lighting in,our kitchen so I thought that this would,be the perfect solution since it is,getting like dark very quickly these, days and will continue to have shorter, days it's just perfect it's black and, then has these little like Ridge details,in it it's ceramic bottom and it came, with a lampshade it was only twelve, dollars so super affordable and then a,little spooky touch that most people, probably wouldn't even think of but I,did have like a wicker basket for, produce up there and I swapped it out,for that marble Bowl just to be a little, bit more cohesive with the look and, added in these black hand towels on the, stove in the dishwasher it's really all, that I did a few small very affordable, changes but I feel like it made such a,high impact I know this is a mess over, here our coffee station I will be,swapping this out and decorating it for,a spooky Halloween coffee and cocoa bar,but I think that's going to be its own, video so make sure that you're,subscribed you have your notification,Bell turned on if you want to see me,transform this space in the kitchen so,now we're moving on into our family room, slash playroom area we do store a lot of,our kids toys in here and this is where,we spend the most time as a family it's,the most lived in and also the only room, that I had a Clear Vision for but it did,not work out at all how ironic is that, this is the one room that I was planning, and intentionally buying decor for and, nothing turned out the way that I had, envisioned while I was putting up all of,my Decor I was a little bit frustrated,by it but overall it's fine it came out, just fine my kids are loving it and, enjoying it and that's really all that, matters so anyway I started by setting,up our couch and I had been so excited,to find some Pottery Barn pillow dupes,if any of you are into Pottery Barn,Decor or the pillows that are going, viral especially the Halloween pillows, you will know those things are crazy, expensive literally eighty dollars for,one pillow so we were able to find a,couple at a couple of different stores, that are absolute dupes for the Pottery,Barn for a fraction of the cost so it's,really excited about that and that kind,of set the tone for the rest of the room, and I started collecting more ghost,Decor because the pillows were ghosts, and so I wanted to have a little bit of,theminess going on in here and I had, this whole Vision in my head that just, did not come out quite right but that's,okay there's still plenty of Halloween's,to continue collecting and perfecting, our decor and in the meantime our family,is is loving what did end up happening,in this room so that's all that really, matters you know anyway over in this, corner we have these ladder shelves, where I put seasonal decor and then also, our kids Market cart that you saw just a,second ago and you're going to see again,in a minute I love to set that thing up,for seasons and holidays and it makes my,kids play with it even more so it's,definitely worth the time I went ahead, and set out some baked goods for them, but my husband is the real Pinterest, parent in our household he is so,creative and artistic it's one of the, things that I love most about him but,our kids have a little Blackboard menu, board so he's setting it up for them, with spooky snacks and a little menu, some Doodles for their Candy Corn Cafe, how cute is that that we're calling, their market car a Candy Corn Cafe but, anyway he got out the chalk markers and,was doing a little Doodle here on on,their menu board and then also on the,Blackboard portion of their actual,Market cart and they were Beyond excited, about this this is probably the number, one thing that they look forward to with, all of the seasonal and holiday, decorating and so it makes both my,husband and I very excited to get it all,set up for them and Derek really outdid, himself this year it came out looking so,good the girls were ridiculously excited, about it and just so thankful that he,took the time to do this for them,I'm pretty sure the girls play corner is,my favorite part of the whole room and, that's not a surprise to anyone but I,just think it's so cute on this little, sign right here Derek's going to be,making them a spooky Cafe sign if he,lets me film it I would have already, shown you that clip and how it turned, out, but over here I just have their baked, goods on top of their Market cart and,the cash register that's out all the, time and then we kept it functional down, here with some toy storage bins on this, wall mounted ladder shelf but then up at,the top I put some Decor so I've got, this really pretty black glass pumpkin, that I found at home goods and then this, cute little ghost candelabra that I also, found at Home Goods it is too stinking, cute I really wanted to put some black, taper candles in there but the ones that,I had weren't the right size and they, were like all over the place like, falling in all different directions if,you have any tips for how I can get them,to fit in there nicely and snugly please, let me know because I would love to move, that back to the top shelf and be able,to like have the candles burning at,night time and things like that I just, think it would be so cool and then in,like July I found some storage boxes, that are Halloween themed they just open,up and they're Hollow on the inside but, then they've got, different covers anyway I got a couple,of sets of those for these shelves to,store the kids toys in there because, typically we do have some storage boxes, and things and so I just transferred, everything over and that worked out, really well to have a cute little spooky,Halloween touch but I'm just loving the,way that that turned out, over here this blanket you guys it is so,beautiful and so very soft we found that,at TJ Maxx not too long ago and then, this little ghost that I put next to the, blanket ladder I found at Home Goods, this year also up here on the media, center I really wanted to do like a,whole haunted house like Village type of,thing but this was the only one that I,could find for an affordable price this, year so this will do and we'll just, continue adding to the collection for, years to come but I got this little, haunted house at home goods and if you,can see in there I found some little, ghost candles also at home goods and, that's gonna look so cute when I light,it up at night now I haven't decided if,I'm gonna put like some Gauzy Fabric or,spider webs or anything on these windows, here so for now I just left them blank, but on the couch look at these little, ghost pillows they are total Pottery,Barn dupes I love them this one came, from Target and this one came from home, goods and then this in the back I wanted,to just get like a black pillow cover, for the slouchy pillow we usually have, back there but I could not find one, anywhere I don't think that brand, carries the black line anymore so I just, got this little black reading pillow, instead the girls really like an,oversized loungy pillow so I didn't want,to completely we skip that and I might, end up swapping out this blanket for a,white one but I didn't want it to get, lost with the ghost so let me know what, you guys think would you swap out that, blanket but that's really all that I did, over on the couch which is so shocking, because usually I'm like drowning in,pillows and then on our little coffee, table tray I just made a few changes, over here we have this spooky little, tree that came from the target dollar, spot a few years ago and this pumpkin, canister that came from the target, dollar spot this year and it's been, filled with candy corn since fall and, then I just added in some of these, little posters that I got last year at,Target a candle that we've been burning, that was orange so I felt like it went, with the theme I kept it really simple, but I think it is super cute and, definitely adds to the spooky Vibes in,here so over on this side of the room I,really wanted to keep it minimal but, balance everything out so on our side, table I just put this little ghost that,I found at either TJ Maxx or Home Goods,it's Fabric and I'll let the girls play, with it so it'll be a toy and it'll be,Decor I love it I think it's so cute and, then over on this ladder shelf that, frames the doorway I have a dark smoked, glass vase that I got from Target over a,year ago now on clearance and then, another one of those little ghost, candelabras from Home Goods it is so,cute and then also some more storage, boxes for toys the bottom shelves I just, keep these fabric bins with the girls, toys in them and then that little wire, bin down there has dog toys and on the, other side it's empty to leave room for, like more toys but anyway that is is all, that we've got going on today so this is,going to wrap up today's video thank you, guys so much for hanging out with me and, decorating my house for Halloween,I truly love spooky season and just I,feel like it's just the beginning of an,extended holiday season and there's so,much decor and festivities and happiness, and it just it makes my heart so happy,so anyway I love to share these ideas, with you I love to show you my decor and,I hope that you guys appreciate it and, love to see it as well but thank you so,much for choosing to spend your time, here with me today make sure that you,are subscribed and you've got your, notification Bell turned on because, there will be a few more Halloween, decorating videos coming your way and, then right after that we are jumping, into Christmas and I know you won't want,to miss it but thanks so much for, watching and I'll see you guys in the, next one
