Halloween DIYs You ACTUALLY Want To Make 🎃🖤 Cute + Aesthetic Halloween Decor

today i am sharing a few halloween diys, that you're actually going to want to,make,hi i'm ali and welcome to my channel as,i mentioned we are doing some halloween, diys today and these are gonna be some, really really fun projects i wanted to,make sure that these were projects that, you wanted to make for your halloween, decor that really aren't spooky or,anything too over the top these are such, simple diys to make that are also very, aesthetic and on trend and this video is,also part of a really fun collaboration, which i will mention a little bit later,so let's hop into this first project, starting out with this medium sized faux, foam pumpkin but you could actually use,a real pumpkin for this diy if you're,looking for a painted pumpkin idea and,the first thing i did was mix up some, black and white to make this medium, shade of gray and i painted the entire, pumpkin it took about three coats of the, paint for full coverage and i made sure,to let it dry really really well in,between, then using some plain white acrylic, paint i painted a large circle on the, front of the pumpkin this is creating a,moon shape for the design that we're,making and it took three coats again for, this to completely cover and i made sure,to really let it dry in between again,i also decided to paint the stem of the, pumpkin with some black acrylic paint, now this part is completely optional but,i remembered i had some glow in the dark, paint in my paint stash so i added on,two coats of the glow-in-the-dark paint,on this white circle because i thought, this would be kind of a cool touch to,make the moon glow, with all of the painting parts done, you're gonna need a sheet of,adhesive-backed felt and i hand drew out, little bat shapes you could also go,online and look up a bat clip art image, print it cut it out and make a stencil i,kind of just winged it because i wanted, that like organic type of look instead,of a very perfect bat shape and i also, drew a couple stars in various sizes as,well and then i just used my regular, scissors to cut out all of the shapes, then it was on to the fun part placing, all of the bats and the stars on the, pumpkin i just made them surround this, little moon shape here and the reason i,decided to do felt instead of cutting, out paper or just painting the bats on,is i just thought they would bring in a,really incredible texture and almost, create a sense of depth because of how, deep black the felt is with the bats and,i am just so in love with how this, painted pumpkin turned out,as i mentioned today's video is part of,a collab with these wonderful ladies, that you see on the screen right here, all three of us are making halloween diy, videos i've linked both of their videos, down in the description box make sure, you go check them out if you're looking, for even more fantastic halloween diy, ideas now let's move on to the second, project, now let's do a dollar store project, using these two glass candle sticks i,gave them a coat of ultra matte black, spray paint once the spray paint had, dried i went in with some white acrylic, paint to paint on this spiderweb detail,i love these dollar tree candlesticks, because they are reminiscent of a,spiderweb shape so they are perfect for, this project and now for this, candlestick i put the spiderweb design, all the way up the entire candlestick, but ultimately i decided i did not like, the look of this so here's what i did,for the second candlestick only putting, that spiderweb design at the base of the, candlestick and i ended up just, repainting the other one to make it look, exactly like this, now i also have some dollar tree taper, candles that were perfect for this, project because they're affordable you,get two in a pack and my idea was to,take these little rings that were also, from dollar tree and make these spiders, look like they are crawling up the, candles now i found hot glue was the, easiest method to apply the spiders but,you do have to be kind of careful, because it is finicky because of the wax,the wax doesn't make the hot glue want,to adhere too easily but if you get the, right combination where the candle wax, melts and the hot glue kind of molds, into it this spiders do stay incredibly, well so just have a little patience, during this part but this was so simple, and easy and the effect is awesome, now let's make a fun halloween rug for, your front door i picked up this doormat,so inexpensively at walmart i think it,was under five dollars and then i'm,going to be using my cricut for this, project just because it's going to make,it a bit easier however you could also, use stickers to create a stencil or make, your own stencil by tracing out letters, and cutting them out so there are other, possibilities that you don't necessarily, need a cricut for so i'm using some, removable vinyl because that's what i,had in my stash if you are doing this, project using a cricut i do recommend, using their stencil material because i,think that would work way easier than, what i'm doing here, but i'm making this really cute home, sweet haunted home design and i'll be,sure to link that in the description box,in case you want to recreate this exact, pattern as well and after i had all of,the pieces cut out on my cricut i'm,doing an inverse weeding to take out all,of the letter shapes because we're,making this into a stencil so you, actually want the background shapes to,be what we're going to be using, now i will admit this was a little bit, challenging and i probably should have, used transfer tape for the first piece,as well but i wasn't sure if that would, work since this is removable vinyl so,the vinyl is not going to really stick, very well to this rug surface, but i was able to peel it off the, backing sheet and then just stick it,onto the rug and then use this little, scraper tool here to press everything, down into place and also place back in,the little details that came off when i,tried to peel up the sheet, now for the bottom piece that said, haunted home i did have a little bit of,trouble with this one and peeling it off,the backing sheet so i did go in with, some transfer tape put that over top, peeled it off the backing and then kind,of laid it down on top of the rug and, very carefully and slowly peeled the, transfer tape up and it did work fairly, well so i was very happy with this, result so i recommend using the transfer, tape method and then i did have to go,stick back in the little details for the,o and the d,next i'm going in with some scrap craft, paper you can use any sort of scrap, newspaper or regular paper that you have,to mask off the rest of the rug and i,did want to leave a little stripe on,both ends of the rug just for an extra, detail to make this look like a welcome, mat, and that's of course completely optional, depending on what you want to do with, your rug,and once i had all the parts of the rug, that i didn't want spray painted masked, off i took it outside and gave it a,really solid coat of spray paint and i,found the best way to do this was to,make sure you held the paint can at a 90,degree angle the best that you could, that way the paint would lay flat onto, the surface of the door mat versus, getting underneath the stencils that you, made because the stencils do not stick, perfectly to the rug surface because of,how textured it is i let that spray, paint dry for a few hours and i was able,to remove the stencils and there were a,couple mistakes where the paint bled, through and i was a little bit, disappointed about that but in the end i,decided it's sort of cute and adds to,the handmade spooky vibe of the rug so i,sealed in the designs that way it,wouldn't rub away when walked on with, some clear satin finish spray paint, now that we've made it to this point in,the video if you're still watching and, enjoying what you see here don't forget,to give this video a like it really is,the best way to help my channel grow and, help this fun video reach more and more, people, now on to some simple and affordable, wall decor i picked up these three, shapes from michaels they were less than,a dollar each and i thought they'd be,perfect for this project and i also, picked up these little spooky elements, from the dollar store and the first, thing that i did was take those, creatures outside and gave them a couple, coats of this gold spray paint, now this is optional with these little, wood plaques i removed the twine hanger, just because i prefer to not have them, for the arrangement that i'm going to do,and then i just went in and painted all,of them with some matte black acrylic, paint, this part is completely optional but, because of a previous thrift flip i have, all of these little corners that are for, like scrapbooking or something like that, that i bought off of amazon i'll be sure,to link them in the description box,and i used my pliers to bend back the, little tabs that are meant to make them, fit around photos or like book corners, and i was able to bend them back and, then use some hot glue to stick them to,the corners of these two both the, rectangular, and the square shaped plaques,i really really liked the finish that, these gave i think it adds a little bit,of an extra spooky kind of vintage, element to these pieces, now for the hexagon one obviously you, can't use corners that are at a 90,degree angle so i'm using one of my,favorite hacks which is using some, simple brads cutting off the backs of,them and then hot gluing them down to,the corners,my original plan was to use this gilding, paint but but i could not get the lid, apart no matter what i tried so instead,i decided to use some antique gold robin, buff that i also had in my stash and, this worked just fine however the color, wasn't exactly what i wanted because it,didn't really match the corners on the, other two pieces but oh well it at least, did the job then once the spray paint on,all my creatures had dried i glued them, down into the plaques depending on how i,wanted them placed, and because i wanted a little extra, detail i'm using some antique wax that i,got at the craft store i'm rubbing that,on to these creatures and then quickly, wiping it off with a paper towel so that, the antique wax only fits in the little, nooks and crannies and i really like the, depth and detail that this brings in,when i found these smokey black stemless, wine glasses at dollar tree i knew i,needed to do another qriket project with, them for halloween so i picked out these, shapes some of them were free in the, crooked design space and then the snakes,i actually made them myself and then, imported them into the design space i'll,be sure to link this project below i,really really love this because i,thought the skull shapes are really cool, and then you're bringing in the snakes, and the moth shapes to create this, really cool and different halloween look, that's maybe not your traditional motifs, that you would think of and it's just a,really fun project cut it out using my,cricut explore two and then began the, lengthy process of weeding all of the, vinyl let me tell you this took forever, but it was strangely therapeutic as well,to just clean out all of these shapes, and the little tiny details that they, had, then it's on to the super easy part, which is just sticking down all these, little vinyl shapes that we made and i,didn't really have a certain method or,reasoning for this i just placed the, shapes kind of alternating their, position in kind of a staggered look and, making sure i didn't have like two or,three skulls next to each other i tried,to vary up the different icons that i,used going all the way around both, glasses, and i absolutely love how this turned, out and i regret not picking up two more,of these stemless wine glasses to make a,full set,but you know just the two are absolutely, perfect, don't forget to head to the description, box and check out the other two videos, that are part of this collab i know you, will love the projects that they came up,with as well and that's all i have for,you in today's video thanks so much for, watching and i'll see on my next one bye

Dollar Tree HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (cheap fall decor ideas to impress everyone!)

Dollar Tree HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (cheap fall decor ideas to impress everyone!)

hey everyone it's Sara Jane with Chic  on the cheap and today we're making a  ,bunch of fun and easy Halloween  decorations using a majority of  ,Dollar Tree products I hope you guys enjoy  this video let's go ahead and get started  ,okay so first we're going to make a ghost that's  perfect for your front porch or even the inside  ,of your house and to start you'll need one funnel  these come in a pack of three at Dollar Tree and  ,a bucket or a planter of some kind and then  just glue the funnel inside of it I'm using  ,hot glue which does work well for this you just  want to make sure that there is a strong hold  ,and here is how mine looked next add some glue  to the top of the funnel and grab a Dollar Tree  ,broom handle and place the open end over the  top of the funnel you may have to hold it in  ,place for a few seconds while the glue dries but  the broomstick should be set in place like this  ,and this next step is especially important  if you're going to have your ghost outside  ,be sure to add some dirt or rocks or in my case  some rice inside the planter to weigh it down  ,next grab a bowl I found this clear one at Dollar  Tree and I'm going to hot glue it to the top of  ,the broomstick I love using hot glue for my  projects but always feel free to use whatever  ,kind of glue or adhesive you prefer and just to  give you a look at what we just created basically  ,it looks like some sort of floor lamp then you'll  want to wrap some lights around the broom handle  ,these are just plain Christmas lights and I  would suggest using floral wire or strong tape  ,to secure the lights then after the lights are  in place you can put a sheet over the top or in  ,my case this is a Dollar Tree tablecloth it's  the round tablecloth that you can find in the  ,party section and the ghost is already looking  good but of course he needs some eyes and I am  ,using some of Dollar Tree sparkly black vinyl I  just cut out two oval shapes and stuck them on  ,foreign how the ghost turned out I think  he is so incredibly cute especially with  ,the lights off he is over four feet tall and  would make the perfect addition to your front  ,porch to greet trick-or-treaters and this DIY  is so easy I decided to make two of them and  ,aside from the Christmas lights everything used  to make these ghosts did come from Dollar Tree, and I am so excited to share this next DIY  with you and it is inspired by this Instagram  ,Creator I will have her page linked down in  the description box below but she has a lot of  ,really creative Halloween DIYs and other holiday  decorating ideas that you should definitely go  ,and check out and this one is so good now what  you'll need is a cauldron I picked up mine from  ,Joann's and you'll also need some sort of filler I  had this Dollar Tree planter on hand so I'm using  ,this but you can use styrofoam or even plastic  bags you basically just want something inside  ,of The Cauldron to take up space and I'm just  going to glue this upside down to the bottom  ,and here's what that looks like on the inside  next you'll need some clear ornaments you can  ,always pick up some from Dollar Tree or an  even better deal are the Box ornaments from  ,Hobby Lobby they are almost always 50 off this  time of year and I started with two boxes of  ,these iridescent ones and you just want to pull  the hanger portion off of the top it should be  ,pretty easy to do and once your ornaments are  hanger free you can begin gluing them in place  ,and you'll start by attaching the ornaments to  your filler piece which of course is my planter  ,and just keep stacking trust me it's really hard  to mess this up you're going for an overflowing  ,Bubble look so I am just gluing these on in random  places once I ran out of the larger ornaments I  ,went in with one box of these smaller ones and  I just placed them again in random spots and  ,also down the side like this to make it look like  The Cauldron was overflowing and then once you're  ,done you can add a ribbon if you would like but  to really bring this thing to life add some fairy  ,lights specifically the ones that twinkle it just  makes this cauldron look so magical and it's just  ,one of the cutest Halloween DIYs I've ever seen  and this is my version of it there are a bunch of  ,them floating around on social media I did want to  be sure to share where I got my inspiration from  ,but you can definitely make it your own and be  creative with it I just love this project so much, foreign, the next time you're at Dollar Tree grab a few  packs of black balloons and some balloon glue  ,to make a huge spider you'll want to start  by blowing up one of the balloons all the  ,way and another just halfway and because I  want to position the spider at the corner of  ,my kitchen island I'm using the balloon glue to  attach the balloons to both the countertop and  ,to each other making sure the smaller balloon  is in the front now here's a side view so you  ,can see the head and the abdomen of the spider  and once that's done you'll want to blow up at  ,least 32 more balloons yes and I blew all  of them up to about the size of a softball  ,and these balloons will be the legs of the  spider and really all you have to do is attach  ,the balloons together using the balloon glue  and one thing I did want to mention though is  ,that if I did this again I would use some duct  tape or some other kind of adhesive just to make  ,sure all of the balloons had a stronger hold  especially if I was building this for a party  ,where people are going to like Brush by it or  possibly touch it a bunch but the balloon glue  ,does hold just know if you want to make sure  your spider doesn't fall apart during your  ,evening make sure you use some tape along with  the balloon glue is what I recommend and I did  ,give my spider eight legs and I put four balloons  on each leg and then I went back and added some  ,extra balloons to the back legs just to give the  spider some depth so that is 35 balloons total, and here's what the spider looks like I think  it already looks so cool just sitting there at  ,the edge of my kitchen island but I do think he  needs some eyes so you can either draw those on  ,or paint them on I found this little craft kit  at Dollar Tree there are little eyes inside of  ,it so those are perfect I just attached  them once again using some balloon glue  ,and here's how my spider turned out I think he  looks so good and I know he would be a huge hit  ,at your next Halloween party and really he is  so easy to make and pretty quick too I think  ,in total this took me about an hour to create  just because I did blow up all the balloons  ,myself but if you can pick up a little machine  or have a friend help you you can get this done  ,even faster but how fun would this be sitting  in your kitchen or on a table next to all of  ,your food and drinks at your next party I also  want to say that you can put this balloon spider  ,other places as well just have fun with it  here's how he looks above the refrigerator, okay so next you want to pick up some large jars  I found these at Dollar Tree and they're a really  ,nice size and a great deal for a dollar and 25  cents and you'll also want to pick up some of  ,these window clings I've been a big fan of  Dollar Tree window clings for a long time  ,and I've done a lot of projects with them but  basically what you need to know is that they  ,stick to glass without any glue or any adhesive  but if you want more of a permanent hold you can  ,always add some glue if you would like but you  don't need it and here I'm adding some of my  ,favorite window clings to the jars and again  no glue is needed which is a wonderful thing  ,next I'm filling the jars with candy and usually  when making gifts like this I try to think about  ,the candy that I would most like to receive and  that's definitely Mr goodbars and Reese's so  ,that's what I'm using but let me know what's your  favorite candy what did you always hope you would  ,get from your neighbors in your trick-or-treat  bags I always was disappointed when I got anything  ,caramel I am not a caramel fan which might be  weird to some people but that's it these are the  ,finished treat jars and what I love about this is  that we didn't do any damage to the jar so you can  ,give this as a gift to someone and they can enjoy  having a Halloween gift from you and then they  ,can just peel off the window cling and repurpose  the jar for food storage or kitchen organization  ,I just love that you can make a gift that can be  nice for the occasion but also be repurposed and  ,I'm also really impressed with the graphics on  these window clings they look like something you  ,might find in Target but you'd likely pay more  than 1.25 cents for the set next are some new  ,bottles that I found in Dollar Tree this week and  what's so exciting about these is that they light  ,up and they do come with batteries so here's  how they look once they are lit up and this is  ,just a super easy idea for these I grabbed some  poster stickers from my local craft store Dollar  ,Tree does sell poster stickers but they're not as  pretty as these these have some glitter on them  ,and of course if you have a Cricut you can use  that to make some letters as well but I don't have  ,one so these poster stickers are great to have on  hand to spell out words and I spelled out boo and  ,then you can add the bottles to your coffee bar  or your treat bar or have them out at a Halloween  ,party but this is just a really easy idea and  a way that you can use these new bottles from  ,Dollar Tree and your holiday decor and one thing I  wanted to mention about these bottles too is that  ,the battery compartment is at the very top so it's  really easy to switch out the batteries when the  ,lights die I don't know I just always feel like  that's a good thing to know so I wanted to share, for the next DIY I'm using the seasonal Dollar  Tree signs but usually you can find these items  ,year round they'll just have different  designs or graphics on them but really  ,it doesn't matter what they have on them  and I'll show you why in just a second but  ,first you want to glue the longer side to the  square sign like this and make sure everything  ,is nice and stable I repeated this two more  times to make three total stands and then  ,I took these Dollar Tree bowls and glued  one upside down to the top of each stand, and here's what the stands look like once the  bowls were on top and once you're done making  ,those you can take them outside to spray paint  them and I am just using a matte or flat black  ,spray paint and I'm doing my best to cover up all  of the designs on the sides I did want to mention  ,that you can of course hand paint these but I  really enjoy spray painting just because it is  ,so convenient and quick but hand painting is an  option too and here's how the stands looked once  ,the spray paint was dry and what I'm doing here is  just draping some really pretty green iridescent  ,mesh over the stands and I did find this at  Joanne's I just thought it was so beautiful  ,but you can use whatever kind of cloth or fabric  that you would like and then I'm going to use more  ,Dollar Tree bowls and hot glue them together now  what you want to do is make sure that you've lined  ,up all of the grooves not only will the bowls  stick together better this way they'll also  ,look a lot nicer and I did once again repeat this  step two more times to make three of the connected  ,bowls and this step is optional but I used a  heated knife to cut a small hole in the back of  ,the bowls for lights now if your hot glue gun gets  really hot you might be able to melt the plastic  ,using that but keep in mind you can always put  the lights inside of the bowls first and then glue  ,them together then you wouldn't need a hole just  make sure whatever you do that the battery pack  ,is on the outside then I glued the bowls to the  top of each stand like this making sure the hole  ,where the lights go in is facing the back then  you can add some ribbon and some hats and here  ,are my Trio of witches I think they turned out so  cute and which decor for some reason especially  ,anything that lights up can be pretty expensive  and I wanted to come up with an affordable way  ,that you can make some witches for your porch  or even for the inside of your house using a  ,majority of Dollar Tree products I did get the  green fairy lights and also the hats from Amazon  ,I will have those linked down in the description  box below but this project is really easy and it's  ,also one that you can get creative with and make  your own witches but I love how these turned out,now if you do get some of those green fairy lights  also pick up some of this green spider webbing  ,from Dollar Tree and if you have a cauldron on  hand just mix the webbing in with the fairy lights  ,it doesn't have to be pretty just make sure the  fairy lights are all covered up and you can also  ,fluff the spider webbing so that it looks like  it's peeking out of the top of the cauldron and  ,this looks so cool it creates a really fun neon  glow it reminds me of The Cauldron from Hocus  ,Pocus so if you're having a Hocus Pocus watch  party this would be perfect to have on hand and it  ,literally only takes seconds to make and you guys  it really is the Sprite I don't have any filters  ,on this video so definitely try this out at  your next Halloween party I think you'll love it  ,so I recently moved and I came across my first  Dollar Tree plus section and I found these  ,stackable pumpkins for five dollars now if you  don't have a Dollar Tree plus section I noticed  ,that Five Below is also selling stackable pumpkins  that look very similar also for five dollars but  ,you do get three pumpkins in different sizes  that connect together like this to create a  ,stack I think this is such a cool product and  I thought it would be fun to give it a quick  ,Halloween makeover so what I did was spray paint  two of the pumpkins black the top one which is  ,the smallest size and the bottom one which is  the largest and I've talked about this before  ,I always like to use flat or matte spray paint I  just find that I like the look of that best and  ,then the middle pumpkin is getting two coats of  white spray paint and again keep in mind that you  ,can hand paint all of these pumpkins as well and  here is a look at the pumpkins after they dried  ,and then to decorate them I'm taking three of  these little glitter bats and placing them on  ,the white pumpkin these bats are made out of a  sheet of glitter foam and I tried to position  ,the bats to make them look like they were flying  and because they were made out of foam they give  ,this really nice 3d effect once the bats were all  in place it was time to stack up the pumpkins and  ,see what we've created and here's what the Stacked  pumpkins look like with their Halloween glow up  ,I really like the Simplicity of this and it can  go with lots of different Halloween decor I did  ,find this hey boo sign at Dollar Tree it was also  in the plus section it was only five dollars but  ,it goes perfectly with the Stacked pumpkins and I  think for five dollars that is such a great deal, okay so I don't know about you guys but I love  Nightmare Before Christmas and when I saw these  ,gingerbread foam shapes at Hobby Lobby I had to  pick up a set to make some skeleton gingerbread  ,men you can also just cut out some gingerbread  shapes using construction paper whatever you  ,would like to do I just like the pre-cut ones  because they're a lot easier to use and they  ,make this project so quick and all I'm doing  here is just using puff paint to create the  ,bones for my gingerbread skeletons now here's  a closer look at the design I went with and  ,here's a look at my Army of gingerbread skeleton  men foreign I decided to take this Dollar Tree  ,wreath form and wrap it in some yarn and the way  that I like to do this is I take a long piece of  ,yarn and I tie it to the wreath form and then I  wrap the yarn around the wreath until I'm almost  ,running out of the yarn and then I will knot it  again doing it this way means you don't have to  ,use any glue which is a thing I'm a fan of a  lot of times when I use yarn and hot glue I  ,end up burning myself but here's how the wreath  form looked once it was all covered in the yarn  ,and then I'm just going to glue the gingerbread  skeleton men all around the wreath form  ,overlapping them as I go this is already giving  me all of The Nightmare Before Christmas vibes  ,and to finish things off I added a simple bow  but you can add whatever you would like to this  ,wreath if you'd like to go with a bigger bow  or maybe even add a happy Halloween sign I just  ,like to keep things pretty simple and here's  how the wreath turned out I think it is so  ,adorable and it's especially great for people  like me who love both Christmas and Halloween, foreign and lately when I've been doing my  DIY videos I try to give you guys some sort  ,of food idea and this is an idea that I've  been wanting to do for such a long time I  ,just picked up these items from Dollar Tree a  vanilla and chocolate cake mix some sprinkles  ,and some frosting and you'll also need a cookie  cutter I'm using this ghost shape and the first  ,step is to bake the vanilla cake and once it is  cooled take the cookie cutter and cut out your  ,ghost shapes now what I like to do is press the  cookie cutter into the sheet cake over and over  ,again before I pull the shapes out I just find  that the cake is easier to work with that way  ,and I'm less likely to tear it up but once  you're done you should be left with several  ,cake go shapes like this or of course whatever  shaped cookie cutter you're working with then  ,you'll want to line a loaf pan with some aluminum  foil and take the ghost shapes and line them up  ,down the middle next just mix up your chocolate  cake and pour the mix into the loaf pan making  ,sure to completely cover up the ghost shapes  follow Halloween Decorating Ideas | Decorate the House with me

Halloween Decorating Ideas | Decorate the House with me

what is up you guys welcome back to,another decorate with me video today we,are decorating the remainder of the, house we are going to decorate the, living room the mantel, and the powder room as well and i gotta, switch out all of the scents so right, now i'm switching out the oils and the, wall diffusers as well as our towels and, just everything so that it is swapped, out so that it is spooky season goodness, and everything has all the vibes so i,got this new wall plug which i thought, was so cute so i switched out everything,in the powder room and i'll share more,of that in a future house tour whenever,i do a decorated house tour i switched, out the table runner which is new as of,this year and i love it so much it adds,a ton of ambiance which is so cute so,then from there i cleaned up the living, room i tossed all the pillows into the, living room that are all halloween, themed, subbed out my regular coasters for these, very very cute ray done pumpkin coasters, and we finished off hotel transylvania 3,because we had started it in a previous, video, and then i wanted to do the coffee table, now this piece i just want to say i,think is my favorite piece of decor for,the season,at first i was confused not gonna lie,and this was sent to me by a very good, friend kelly and i had no idea what she,was talking about and then i received it,and i thought it was the greatest thing,i had ever seen, second place this guy,so between the mummy and the fish tank i,just,i'm so happy so this is a smaller, version of the mummy that i had from, last year so he fit perfectly on the, mantel i wasn't sure how i was gonna do,the mantel yet and just like in other, videos i usually refer back to my videos, from the previous year to see how i did, things but i tried not to do that this, year just you know to give it a fresh, flow and do things a bit differently, usually i have this guy on the mantel, and he ended up actually going elsewhere,so there's a lot of things that moved, around i love this put a spell on you, book and i feel like it goes perfectly i,got this eyeball from michael's last, year i think it was and i think they do,still sell it and it just reminded me of,the hocus pocus vibes and the book so,those go together on the mantel and, these little candle holders i got them,in a pack of four off of amazon not a,halloween decoration but just goes so,well with these candles that you just, screw the bottom you put two batteries,in there you twist the bottom and it,turns on kind of like a real flickering, candle just no fire hazard and then the, other thing that i do is i will put real, candles but i'll show you how i make, them look real without actually lighting, them just because i have cobwebs and, stuff all around let's not light the, candles and also why so i have had this, particular candle the gather candle i,love it it's a really old bath and body, works candle that i love the smell of i,just don't want to burn it,and then these ropes i've had them for a,while they were actually just cut off of,an old laundry hamper that we had, upstairs and i thought that they were, really cool they kind of looked like a,noose so i just tucked them underneath,of a few heavier pieces and i just kind,of twist it around and it really does, just kind of have that vibe but this, year we took the mantle up a notch so,i'm really excited so i did some cobwebs,i actually had to pull them off, afterwards and restart which was the, most, frustrating thing cobwebs are not an,easy thing to do i feel like less is,more and the more that you can pull it,thin the better it looks if you keep it,too thick it doesn't look that great so,i was kind of struggling with it and it,did look good but i had to take it down, because i'm going to show you what i got,i got such good finds this year at,walmart of all places so i ended up,doing what i usually do i do the cobwebs, from the top of the tv on the left side, down there's a trick to this and i've,shared this with you guys before if you, start on the left top side and work your, way diagonally to the right to the eye,it will just look better so when you're,decorating if you can do things that way,it will just look better so top left, side of the tv cobwebs come down all the,way down to the bottom right on the, opposite side so i filled this sucker, with cobwebs and it's too bad that i,needed to take it apart and restart so,fresh start hollow wishes the next night,we made a margarita i wanted to share, this with you guys i've been sharing it,a lot on my instagram but i started, my margaritas with tahin and,it's basically like a chili lime, flavoring and the other thing i added, for halloween was some black, sea salt and i also mix it with some oak, smoked sea salt and then i just for, filler i put in some pink himalayan rock, salt so i just put that mixture together,in this little margarita, shaker situation bowl topper whatever, you would call it and that way i'm good,to go every single time that i want to,make a margarita now the way that i make,a margarita is ancho chile reyes mezcal, lime juice love this quick lime bottle, and some fresh i say fresh pickled, because it's handmade fresh pickled, jalapeno juice and i put that in there, and it is delicious it's spicy but, because it's pickled and not fresh, jalapeno it doesn't kill me as much so,this is one of the finds that i got at,walmart these i think were like two, dollars each you put the batteries in,you twist them just like the michael's,ones but they're two dollars and they, have the little stand they're so cool,so i put those on the mantel alongside, some, fake candles which i will show you in a,second got to replace the batteries on,those and then i did some fairy lights,as well but look at how cute these, little candle sticks are by the way i,love this ghostbusters the ones with the,one with the girls the music is so good, and it's hilarious so these are the, flickering candles and this is how i,make the real candles look fake i just, put a little tea light in there but the,the walmart candlesticks i was very, impressed and there's like a little, cobweb on there super cute i got this, last year that little tombstone i got, that at spirit halloween put them right,in the middle between the two candles, this was the other find i got at walmart, what,so i got this nightmare before christmas, bag of jack skellington's and then i got, this for like i think it said 398 and, that's canadian so it's this black mesh, comes with a bunch of bats i did not use,the bats but you totally can but this, mesh i only needed, this piece because i cut it that like, along the long way like the length i cut,it in half and i draped it,this i just feel like this made it look,so much better and it was three dollars,so i draped this across the front of the, mantel and this was why i had to kind of,pull off the cobwebs, and i just feel like it made the rope, pop so much more it made the candles pop,it made oh and then i draped the rope, through this guy's hand that hand i'm,pretty sure i got him at michael's also, dead man's toe candle is from last, year's halloween, hocus pocus party which,we can't talk about the fact that, there's no hocus pocus this year it is,the biggest disappointment of my life, alongside the fact that there is no,hotel transylvania 4 what happened so,sad okay i did a battery haul from, amazon i get all my batteries from, amazon so much cheaper so these as well,as the one in the last video that i,shared with you guys they all take these, types of batteries like basically what, you'd put in a watch so i subbed out all,the batteries that were in these these, had lasted me quite a few halloweens but,i love the vibe of these they're like a,metallic like they're dripping,so they go perfectly on the mantel and i,put those in all the candle holders as,well as topping any of the real candles, with them so when the lights are out it,actually looks like the candle itself is,on when it's not at all,so then i moved into my office oh i,didn't say that we were going to,decorate my office we're decorating my,office i had a very like harvesty kind,of look to the office to keep with the, boho theme so i had that really cute, gnome an extra pumpkin that little, pumpkin is from michaels they still do,sell it,and i had this cute little mickey, succulent that i paid way too much for,he's from box lunch but he's the tiniest, little thing and then i subbed out, anything that i had as a pencil holder,or scissors holder i used my measuring, cups for that i had this cute mummy and,i was going to put these orange candle, sticks but they didn't fit at all so i,used the blood dripping ones you can get, those at spirit halloween they're really, cool i used them last year and you just, light them and they kind of drip red,it's really cool added some lights,my gnome, snow globe which is really cute next to,the rock salt lamp and i've got my,little pencil case pencil holder i love, this pumpkin, holder i use it for my remotes and then,i had more fairy lights in here this, pumpkin was a diy project i did two, years ago i think it's all it was all, filmed so you can go find that video and, then i just added a couple little, details of books i really want to read, that super excited to read those books, and then my little jack and sally this, guy's a giveaway by the way next week, that stitch is gonna be the giveaway so,we're doing giveaways every single week, just make sure that you're subscribed, following commenting and just being the, most engaged bonus points to the people, that leave a review on the podcast but, this is the finished office with my,little squishmallows,in the swing chair and then i added a,couple more pillows on the bench in my,office so overall the office was awesome, and then i finished off just finally i,have i always have turned on the fish, tank i does anybody else get trader, sam's vibes from it it's just very cool,so after hotel transylvania we put on,adam's family, and i added some more fairy lights so,you can get these really cool fairy, lights i will either go orange or purple, and they're very halloweeny they're very, perfect,so i've re-fixed up all of the, cobwebs i folded some blankets put some, pillows away i got carl a ghost host bed, from our not so scary collection and i,just want to say i don't know if he,knows that mommy made the bed for him,but he loves this bed so we have the, same one as part of our christmas, collection and he has that one,he loves it,it's a it's a bougie bed for a little, dude um i did end up getting the, succulent head the mummy sucker is a,skeleton, love that and then this witch's brew i,put some black moss in the bottom from, michael's with a little picks picks and, sticks of some pumpkins and it just, turned out super super well i'm not, quite done with this spot of the house, but i do love it i'm super happy with, the way that everything turned out and, honestly if you guys loved this type of,video and just want more decorate with,me as we're still going i still have to,do the bar cart and share that with you, guys and just, probably a few other parts in the house, maybe upstairs as well so if you guys, did enjoy it definitely give this a,thumbs up make sure that you're,following along on instagram because i'm,sharing all the behinds of everything, behind the scenes of everything,as well as on my stories and on,the donuts dumbbells and dreams page, with any new stuff that is possibly, launching so make sure that you're,following all over the interwebs and, make sure that you are subscribed here, hit the bell DIY HALLOWEEN DECOR You ACTUALLY Want to Create! 🎃 Dollar Tree Home Decor Ideas!

DIY HALLOWEEN DECOR You ACTUALLY Want to Create! 🎃 Dollar Tree Home Decor Ideas!

hey guys welcome back to my channel it,is drew here from alone fox,and today we have a super super exciting, video because if you guys did not know, halloween is probably one of my absolute, favorite holidays,i think it's one of the most nostalgic, ones for me for some reason it's the one, that i can remember the most of and it's,like the ones that i have the best, memories of i just really really love, the month of october for some reason so,this month for me is really really, exciting and,i asked you guys over on instagram and,on my youtube community tab if you, wanted to see a halloween, decor diy video and some people were, like yes please please please do it and,i too myself was like i've never done a,halloween diy video so let's go ahead, and do that for you guys, today and if you are not already make, sure to subscribe to my channel it is,100 free click that little red subscribe, button down below and also click the, bell icon next to it that way you are, notified every time that i upload a,brand new video which is normally about, twice a week so you don't want to miss, out on a really fun loan fox content so,today i'm gonna be doing, five diy halloween decor ideas and i,feel like a lot of the times you can go,to the stores and you can buy a generic, kind of cheesy halloween decor that's,scary whatever it might be i'm sure a,lot of you guys know exactly what stores, offer during halloween time however it,is really hard to find aesthetically, pleasing really really cute halloween, decor for your space if you do like that, more elevated look and that is exactly, what i want to give you guys today and, last but not least don't forget to,follow me over on instagram it is lone, fox home it's really really fun over, there and you can also check out my,online store it is lonefox.com,where i sell home goods and diy supplies, there's actually currently a promotion, running right now get 10,off using code autumn at checkout but, let's jump into these really cute, halloween diy, decor ideas, already guys so jumping into our first, project here we are going to be using, two glass faces from the dollar store, and i'm also going to be using a ton of,hot glue the supplies for this project, are super minimal but we will be needing,a lot of hot glue so make sure you have, some spare sticks on hand so what we're,going to be doing is actually creating a,faux drip texture to the top exterior,of this vase here which then is going to,be painted over and kind of looks like a,dripping, candle in a scent so i'm going around, and using my hot glue,to create these drips you can actually, just apply a lot of it and kind of let,it run down itself,or you can create them if you kind of,hold it horizontally to your table and, this is what it should look like when, you're completely done adding those, drips on there, and you're going to be repeating the, process on your second base or your, third base however many you want to,create and this is what both of mine, ended up looking like, however once you add your first layer i,think it's really nice to go in and add,a second and even a third layer on top,of your drips, that way it looks like the wax has been, building up over time and it just looks,a little bit more realistic,i found these packs of holiday votives, and they had battery operated tea lights,in them so i pulled those to the side, and i'm going to be using a bit of matte, black spray paint which i'm just going,to spray into the lid and then paint, onto all of the white portions of this, tealight candle that way it blends in,with our final candle once it is,completely done, just make sure not to paint the flame of,course, once those are all done i grabbed a,couple of popsicle sticks and i'm going,to be cutting these down to be the, interior width of,our vase so i cut off one end then i'm,measuring it and kind of cutting off the, second end and this is going to fit, perfectly on the inside and we're,basically creating like a little, pedestal for a tea light to sit on,because,i want to elevate it towards the top as,opposed of having it towards the bottom, there so our tea light will sit on there, nicely and i'm going to repeat the same, process to the second vase, and once you're all done with that these, are ready for a coat of spray paint so,bring them outside and give a generous, coat of matte black spray paint making, sure to hit,all the little crevices all the cracks, and that really finishes off these, tealight holders they're super cute, and also very modern at the same time,i'm pretty sure you guys all know by now, that i love a good wreath whether it is,christmas time, fall time summertime whatever it is i,always create a themed wreath so we're,going to be doing a halloween one today,so i found these really great kind of,like tree branch style, stems at joann's fabrics in the, christmas section and i got them for 50,off and i brought them outside and i'm,going to be again giving them a nice, coat of black spray paint making sure to,honestly give them like a double coat, because, you're going to want to hide all that, glitter however the glitter on the, underside creates a really fun texture,so,this is what they look like once they're,all dried and i'm going to be using, three of these ones that were previously, silver as kind of the base for my wreath, and then i'm gonna add, more as i go so i'm gonna curve all, three of them around and kind of place, them around the exterior rim and by the,way guys this wreath form that i'm using,is from the dollar tree,in order to secure down my first layer,on any wreath i really like to use wire, and i add a couple pieces of wire on,each stem just to make sure that it's,fastened, securely to the base as opposed to hot, glue because sometimes hot glue can come, free,i like gluing on top of my first layer, but my first layer is always wired down,so i wire down all of these pieces using,a little bit of a thin wire that i found,in the floral section at michael's,so that's what i'm doing here, this is looking awesome so far but i do,want to make it just a little bit more, full so with my other stems i kind of,look a little bit more like tree, branches which i love i think these, really really elevated the look and just, filled it in,i'm going to be kind of picking them off,and cutting them at different lengths, and sizes, just to fill in any section that i feel, like needs a little bit more fullness, and this, really is going to elevate your wreath, and just make it look a lot more, expensive, and overall just make it appear a lot, prettier if you guys know what i'm,talking about so that finishes off this, wreath you can get another coat of spray, paint if you feel like you need to,but i'm really excited with how this, piece turned out,now i know not everybody is into those, scary halloween decorations so this is a,super super, cute alternative option if you just want,to add a little bit of holiday cheer to,your home,so i'm going to start off by grabbing a,couple pieces of holiday fabric these, are actually fat quarters from joanne's,fabrics,so i got these in a couple variating, colors just in oranges and blacks to,make a nice pretty aesthetic in the end,and i'm going to be cutting them down to,nine inch by nine inch squares these are, going to be for the smaller styrofoam, balls, and then the larger squares are going to,be about 13 inches by 13 inches and, those are for our larger styrofoam balls,to create the little ghost all i'm doing,is adding a bit of hot glue placing it,down on the wrong side of the fabric and, then adding more glue around the, styrofoam ball and, literally just overlaying it on top and, pulling the fabric, down now you can totally go ahead and,add a string and kind of tighten it as,you would for a tassel however i didn't,want it to have that like cinched, look where it kind of comes in on the, tassel you know i wanted the fabric more,so to look like it's flowing and just, falling off of a circular shape so this,is kind of like the head of the ghost if,you will and then everything's kind of,falling downwards,is more so i guess the ghost's clothing,i don't really know what you call this, part of the ghost to go spotty, but um i'm just going around adding hot, glue and just pulling the fabric down, you kind of want to let gravity do its, thing and just let the fabric fall and, then, glue it and then pull it down and let it,fall into place and then once you're,done, you're pretty much done that's how, you're gonna be creating these ghosts is,super super simple but i created i think, about nine of them, now that we have all of our ghosts it is,time to string them onto a string to,create the garland so i got an,embroidery needle and some string and,i'm just going to kind of just, pick at the top of the fabric and go,through just a tiny little piece there, and then tie it into a single knot right,on top to secure that ghost, into place and in between each of the, ghosts i actually ended up using about, nine, inches of string so i brought out a,ruler measured nine, inches and then i strung through on my,next ghost again just going through just,a little bit of that fabric on the top, side where the styrofoam ball is,and then i brought it over to my ruler, there and made sure that there was a,nine inch spacing in between each of,them, and then tied it into a simple little, single knot and you're just gonna repeat, this all the way down until you have all,of your ghosts, strung onto your garland, project number four is probably the, quickest simplest easiest, fastest and most inexpensive project,i've ever done here on my channel but, sometimes those are the best ones i,think so what i'm going to start off by,doing is actually hot gluing the bottom, side of one of these spider web bowls, that i found at the dollar tree, and i'm going all the way around just, making sure that i add a generous amount,of hot glue on the bottom, and then i'm going to be gluing on top,of that the second bowl, now this is going to be creating a kind,of like tiered bowl which is similar to,that terra cotta candle that i created, that everyone, loved in my dollar tree video but i'm,also giving this a nice coat of,matte black spray paint because the, bowls were kind of like a glossy plastic, and i wanted them to be a little bit, more matte i just thought it would look, quite nice with this bowl shape so i,went around and i sprayed it with a,matte black finish and that finishes off, this really cute spiderweb candy bowl,a few weeks back on instagram i shared, with you guys this really cute starry, night rattan style pumpkin that i,created for a little instagram pumpkin, swap that i was doing and i thought why,not also do a video tutorial on it so,our final project is how to create this, pumpkin so i'm starting off with one of,these, faux foam carvable pumpkins now this one, guys is from joanne's however i do not, suggest this one,it was so challenging to cut through i,got my last one at michaels and i can, tell you it was so much easier to cut, through i don't know what it is if it's,made of a different foam or something, but the michaels one is much much much, easier,so what i started off by doing which i,know i've kind of already gotten into, this a little bit,but i'm going to be cutting out a ton of,different star shapes and then i also, wanted to add a little moon as well a,little crescent moon so that is what i'm,tracing out here i just kind of freehand, everything however i do have a pack of,star cookie cutters that i kind of use,as a reference for some of the larger, star shapes, but any of the smaller stars i honestly, just kind of create your generic star, that you learned in elementary school, and then i cut it out so i just did a,whole ton of stars all the way around, tracing them in tons of different, various shapes and sizes, just to get a nice variety and kind of,make it again look like a little starry, night, now i actually had to make all of the, cuts off camera because the angle i was, filming,at and the strength of this foam pumpkin, was just not allowing me to cut them so,i ended up cutting all the shapes off, camera, and then it took me about half an hour,to do so the thing i love about these, pumpkins is that you can reuse them each, year which is amazing so then what i did,was i grabbed some black acrylic paint, and put in a little container there and, added a bit of baking soda to create, that really nice ceramic paint that, everyone's been doing lately, and this just gives kind of like a,ceramic finish to the outside of your, pumpkin, now you can totally leave it orange if,you'd like to however i wanted to go in,and do a black one this time because my,first one that i created for instagram, was actually like a creamy white tone,so i thought having a black one and just, doing a little bit of variation so you, guys can see two different color ways of,this pumpkin would be really really nice,so,i went on and painted a generous coat of,this black paint which again is that, kind of ceramic finish baking soda vibe, which we all have been loving lately, and of course you can't forget to paint, the little top section as well i just, used a smaller brush for this to get a,nice detailed edge alongside of the stem, there, and next what i did was i grabbed a,little bit of this rattan material which, you guys all know i use in a lot of my,projects i get it at a local shop here,in los, angeles and i'm using i first started, off with a bit of crazy glue which, honestly did not work at all and it got,all over my fingers which was quite, annoying,so what i ended up doing which is what i,did with my first pumpkin was i actually, just used sewing pins so i bring the, rattan material inside, and i grab a couple of sewing pins and i,secure it at all four corners into the, foam material, now you're gonna have to use a faux, candle in this anyways so the sewing, pins cannot be seen, and that really finishes off this really, cute starry night pumpkin, and you made it to the end i hope that, you guys enjoyed those halloween diy, decor, ideas as much as i loved creating them, for you they were so much fun and i'm,really really excited to decorate my,mantel with them a lot of them i,actually think are going to go on my,mantel area because it's a pretty focal, prominent point in my living room i,really love how these pieces to me kind,of feel timeless they're definitely, pieces you can keep for year after year, and you're never going to get bored of,them because they're very simple but of,course very halloweeny and perfect to,decorate for the season,i love the word halloweeny by the way,and also we cannot forget how budget, friendly these are almost every single, project was made using pieces from the, dollar tree so you're also saving a,little bit because i know not everyone, wants to spend on halloween decor,so this is just a little way to add a,bit of festivity to your home while also, saving a little bit of money and yes so,that finishes off today's video i hope, that you guys enjoy these projects i,absolutely love the way they turned out,and i want to thank you guys so much for, joining me today i hope you're having an,amazing october as well, and do not forget to also subscribe to,my channel 10 Easy DIY Halloween Decoration Ideas

10 Easy DIY Halloween Decoration Ideas

foreign, what's up you guys today I'm going to,share with you 10 super easy Halloween,DIY decoration ideas that anybody can do,that you can get all of the material, from the dollar store so let's do this, the first thing we're going to make is,these witch Potion bottles so all you, need are some glass jars a little bit of,glitter,we're gonna get some cotton balls, some water mixed with some paint or even, food coloring and then a couple of,little Halloween accessories,so what you're going to do is mix the, paint with the water pop in the cotton, balls add some glitter and let the, mixture kind of sit add in some water, some more cotton balls some more glitter,I actually found that the food coloring, with the water worked a little bit, better, and you can do this in all different, colors so this bottle I did purple, glitter with some black, and then the next one I did Green cotton, ball green glitter added in some blue in,there,I tossed in an eyeball for effects which,I also got at the dollar store, topped it off with some water and it,really creates this galaxy kind of,potiony vibe effect with all the glitter, and everything I also added in some, bouncy balls with spiders in them that I,got at the dollar store, then to seal off the lid just make sure, that it's glued down with a hot glue gun,add some twine and you can add a little, accessory on the top to Mark what kind,of bottle it is,and then you can place these anywhere, and decorate with them I used them on,The Mantel and they turned out so well, okay next up we're going to make these, floating ghosts these are so magical and,so easy to do so all you need is some, cheese cloth some school glue you're,going to take out the cheesecloth cut it,to the right size mix equal part school, glue with some water mix that together, and then you're gonna soak the, cheesecloth in that then you just need a,mold so you can use a water bottle a cup, with a little balloon as the head of the, ghost and then I use pipe cleaners as,the arms and then you're going to drape, the cheesecloth that is now soaked in,that glue over top it will work better, with two layers and you can let them dry,I let them dry by the fireplace, then you're going to pop that balloon, and take the cheesecloth off of that, mold that you've created and these, ghosts will float on their own you can,pop some eyes on,and I put some little tea lights under, them and they just hold themselves up on,their own these are so cool and so,magical and also so easy to make I just, love them, next up we're going to make some spooky, soap this is so simple and so easy to,make all you need is a mason jar any, type of container that can hold some, soap I used green soap with some green, glitter tossed in these glow cubes that, you can get off of Amazon or at the, dollar store,I also had this really cool poison apple, one that fit in perfectly, popped on the lid and put that right, next to the sink lit a candle and it had,all of the spooky vibes, this is going to Jazz up your cocktails, for Halloween so much so all you need, are some ice trays I got these from,Walmart pop in some spiders or any, accessories that you have lying around, the house fill with water I also decided,to add in some gummies and then the, second tray I decided to put in some, food coloring of all different sorts,in these I popped in some eyeball, gummies some gummy worms and this is,such a cool way to spice up any spooky, cocktails throughout the Halloween, season, this is my magic Mickey that I made he's,honestly super easy and super cheap to,make all you need is a balloon some, paper towels some foil a little bit of,cardboard and some patience,so what you're going to do is Trace on,the Mickey face onto the balloon and, then you're going to start applying the,Papi mache which is basically flour and, water with paper towel and then you can, mold the form of his ears with some, tinfoil, let that Harden and sit add in all the, details like the stem as well as the, little leaf on top of his Noggin, cover entirely with paper towel and that, mixture let it dry carve out the eyes as,well as the nose and the mouth, cut a hole in the bottom and then paint, the entire thing Orange, you can add a tea light underneath I,added a couple of tea lights that I got,at the dollar store and he turned out, perfect, this is one of my favorites the bubbling, cauldron this is so easy and so flipping, cool so you're gonna need some clear, ornaments a nebulizer a cauldron and, some spider webs so I filled up my,nebulizer and then I stuffed the clear, plastic ornaments with this,glow-in-the-dark spiderweb you don't,need to use the glow in the dark you can,use black you can use white it's totally,up to you but the green looked really, really good so I stuffed the bottom of,the cauldron first with just some black, spider webs that I had lying around and, then I filled it with the green,glow-in-the-dark spider webs and then I,put all of the ornaments on top just, glued them together with a hot glue gun, left some space for the nebulizer and, then it looks like a bubbling cauldron, and bonus points because it also glows,in the dark, okay let's make a monster Garden all you, need for this is cardboard some glow, sticks that I got at the dollar store, draw out some little eyes into your, cardboard cut out the shape roll it into,a cylinder crack those glow cubes pop, them into the cylinder I like to seal, one of the sides of the cylinder so that,it can actually hold the glow Cube pop, them into the bushes and then at night, these are going to Glow as though you, have monsters in the dark,Helping Hands these are super cheap, solid tongs from the dollar store, they're just skeleton hands and then I,also found these really cool candles so,here's what you're going to do you're,going to cut a hole in each of them you,can just use scissors that are really, easy to penetrate and then you can, either drill into a piece of wood or,just use something heavy to hold these, down because they're so lightweight so,on Halloween night this could hold your, candy buckets and place one of those, candles in the hand you don't have to,hot glue gun anything down because it'll,hold itself up you can also take this, outside as a cool front porch accessory, this DIY ghost pillow was inspired from,a really expensive Pottery Barn pillow, that I really wanted but it's also sold, out so I figured we could make this, together,I got a baby blanket off of Amazon tied, some twine around a pillow that I,already had just to create the ghost, shape and then I draped the baby blanket, over top I just got a small Sherpa, blanket that kind of matched the style,of the pillow that I was trying to,recreate I glued it all down in the, position that I wanted cut some eyes out,of an Old Rag painted the cloth black, glued those on with a hot glue gun,and then I pop that on the sofa and it,turned out so good, even Carl liked it,these slime cups are so stinking cool, all you need are some cool Halloween, cups some slime some glitter some glow, cubes some straws and a couple of,accessories to pop into the cup so the, first thing you're going to do is you're,gonna need some slime you can mix that, with some glitter make it cool I stuffed, the bottom of the cups with some extra, spiderwebs that I had lying around it,kind of makes it look like the bottom of,the jar is filled with a liquid and then, you're gonna mix your slime with, whatever you want glitter beads have fun, with it so I did purple and I did Green,I also had these eyeballs so it kind of,looked like the goo was falling down the, side of the cup and this is ultimately, like a mock cocktail it looks completely, real it's not but it's really cool to be,able to stage in and put that on your, bark heart or on your countertop for, decoration,so that's it I hope that you guys, enjoyed these 10 super easy Halloween, decoration ideas and if you try them, make sure to tag me

DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

what's wrecking family so you guys asked, for halloween diys and that's what i'm,bringing to you today dollar tree is,getting it a bunch of halloween decor, right now and though it looks like fall, behind me it's actually 91 degrees, outside so let me know the weather near, you is it feeling like fall at all, anyways let's begin the video the next, time you're in dollar tree pick up one,of their mop heads they carry them on,their own or you can buy the one that, has a handle attached to it this part is,optional but hear me out it looks way, better if you untwist the fabric that's,twisted on the mop creating thinner, pieces you want your mop to be stiff so,use a max hold hairspray and spray one, side once it's dry flip the mop over and, spray the other side i used suave max, hold hairspray i then spray painted my,mop using a brown spray paint you can,use acrylic paint if you like it's just, more time consuming and i also like that, the spray paint helps stiffen the mop, even more once the spray paint has dried,i brought the mop inside and used a,light brown paint to create some, highlights we're trying to make the mop, look like a straw broom i've included, some rope on top of the mop to make it,look more aged now this is how you're,going to get your broom to move go to,five below and pick up a remote control, car for five dollars you'll need to use, something flat like a square block to,attach the mop and the card together, flip your mop over to reveal the plastic, piece that is underneath the mop and, then use a heavy duty glue like e6000 to,attach the wood block to the mop and to,the car i also use some hot glue because,it just dries more quickly and makes, things go a little bit faster you can,use the mop handle that comes with the,mop if you like but i decided to use a,wooden dowel that i got for around a,dollar and fifty cents from walmart just, because it's very lightweight i also, painted this doll a brown color and then, glued some rope to the top of it to give,it a more antique reason you have to,stiffen up the mop is so that the fabric, doesn't keep getting stuck underneath, the car wheels it just kind of floats, with the car this is an original idea, that i had to think real hard on how to,make it work it does work it cost me ten, dollars to make when it retails for, eighty dollars on amazon and make sure, you follow me on tick tock because i,plan on doing something similar using a,roomba, every year dollar tree gets in these, ghosts if you have a ceiling fan you can,do a cool hack with these what you're,going to do is you are just going to tie, them to the ceiling fan i'm using twine,to attach mines to the ceiling fans and, guess what, that's it you just tie them to the, ceiling fan then turn the ceiling fan on,it looks like there is ghost flying, around your house and don't worry the, ghosts are very lightweight so they, won't be bending any of the fans on your, ceiling fan this is an easy hack to do,and it looks really really cool if the, fabric is a little bit too long for you,you can always trim that down, the next time you're in dollar tree pick,up two cocoa plant liners you won't,believe what you can make with these, you're going to place them inside of,each other to basically make a pacman, head shape and when you have that shape, down you can then glue them to each, other hold the cocoa liners together, until the glue has completely dried and, then move on to gluing another section, when you're in dollar tree pick up a,broom handle you're going to trace the, broom handle on the bottom of your, coconut liner and create a hole using, some scissors you're then going to push, the handle through that hole now it's,time to paint your coconut liner i'm,using a lime green color on the coconut, liner i recommend using a paint sponge,to paint this it makes it so much easier, and do a stippling motion versus a,stroke the edge of the coconut liners, has what looks already like a lip so i,painted that area red i also used black, paint i mixed it with my green paint and, with my red paint to shade different, areas and then i used the black paint on,its own especially in the inside of the, mouth our mouth needs teeth i'm going to,be using craft foam i got from hobby, lobby but dollar tree also carries white, craft foam it's just hard to find, sometimes i glue them inside of the, mouth just using hot glue and i don't,like to keep them all white so i use, some shades of brown paint to just dirty,up the teeth a little bit now i got a,pool noodle from dollar tree i cut it,down to about three feet and i push my,broomstick through the pool noodle now,i'm going to be using a planter i got, from dollar general for ten dollars,we're flipping it over and we're using, our drill to create a big hole at the, bottom this way we can place our, broomstick through this hole you don't,want it to be too big otherwise the, broomstick is gonna fall right over i,placed some gravel and stones at the, bottom of this the stones were from, dollar tree and the gravel was from, walmart you just want this to be,weighted at the bottom so it's not easy,to tip over i ended up painting the pool, noodle i just used a darker green black, and brown paint once i have that done,it's time to attach some fake greenery, now this greenery i got at hobby lobby, you can use dollar tree greenery but you,end up spending more at dollar tree than, you do just going to a craft store and, getting it on sale and when i glued the, greenery to the coconut liner i held it,in place while i wait for the glue to,dry that's how i made these almost five, feet tall venus fly traps and i made, them for under 25 i only needed four, dollar tree products plus the greenery, from hobby lobby which was eight dollars, and then the planter which was ten, dollars, okay for this project you want to pick,up some gift boxes from dollar tree i,went with two of these cylinder shapes, and i'm removing the lid you're also, going to need some craft foam i,purchased this big pack from walmart you,get 50 sheets for a little over five, dollars i'm starting off with the bigger, cylinder and i'm taking the lime green, foam and cutting it out to go around the, cylinder i'll also be cutting a piece, that's going to go on the top once i,have those pieces cut i use some glue to,attach them to the cylinder boxes i used, foam glue on the bigger pieces that go,on the sides just because sometimes hot, glue can mess with the shape of foam so,i didn't want any weird lines going, through the pieces on the side i'm going,to be making three different tiers the, bottom one is supposed to be a little, frankenstein so i use my black foam to,create some hairs stitches the eyes and,the mouth now for the second tier i go,ahead and glue the box on top of my,frankenstein and this one i turned into,a ghost so i used white foam for this, and then black foam for the features i,decided i wanted to do one more smaller, tier i didn't use a box for this but, dollar tree does carry small boxes you,can use in the craft supply section if,you want instead i just took the foam, and created a cylinder shape with that, foam and this is supposed to be a tiny, little pumpkin you guys know i love to,make fake sweets on this channel and i,usually do these with spackle i decided,to do one that's done without spackle to,give you guys some options i'm gonna be,using pom poms from dollar tree as the, icing for this as well as some ribbon, and this ribbon i got at hobby lobby on,sale for a dollar and fifty cents you, just hot glue them wherever you see fit,and if you want to go with tobacco you, most definitely can finally i just, painted on a little bit more features, for instance some more whites on the eye,and then i wanted to give my ghost and,the pumpkin some cheeks so i use the, light pink pink to do that and that's,how you make a foam and pom pom cake, instead of doing the spackle and of,course you can always add spackle to,this to truly make it look like a cake, either way this is adorable and so easy,to do recently on my channel i shared, with you guys how to make a giant, gingerbread house out of dollar tree, foam board i knew when i did that we had,to make a haunted house so i picked up,some black foam board from dollar tree, and i recommend having a box cutter or,an x-acto knife on hand to cut through, your foam board i like using an l,bracket just to figure out where to cut, exactly and get a straight line now i'm,not going to give you guys the exact, dimensions for this because it's a,little bit hard for me to do but, basically figure out a haunted house, design that you want to make i make sure, both the front and the back of the, haunted house are the exact same thing i,also ended up cutting out some little, pieces that are going to go in the front,of the house so it pops out a little bit, more i'm going to put fairy lights, inside of my haunted house so i need, windows so that you can actually see the, fairy lights so i just go ahead and i,cut out windows i don't try to make, every window the exact same size as the, window i cut before i just try my best, with it now once you have all your walls, cut you can then start gluing them to a,base a foam board now you're going to,have a lot of scrapped leftover pieces,of foam board cut those pieces into, smaller pieces that you're gonna use to,help support your walls so as you glue, your walls down you layer some of those, little scrap pieces to just help keep, everything nice and upright i used five, pieces of foam board to do this and let,me tell you guys it really was so easy,to do,now the truly fun part decorating the, house i got these black webs from dollar, tree and i just placed them on top of,the haunted house like i said i want to,put fairy lights inside of my haunted, house i got these from amazon i'll link, them down below they're remote, controlled which makes it really nice, because you don't want to have to put, your hand inside of there every single, time to turn them on and i put three, fairy lights inside of each kind of,compartment of my haunted house, dollar tree carries bat clips and, spiders that are perfect for this so i,decided to clip and glue some of these, pieces onto the haunted house and after,i did all this i was like you know what, this this needs a little something else,so i decided to dry brush some white, paint so basically what that means is,you take a brush dip it inside of some, paint remove most of the paint from the, brush and then do light strokes over, your project and this is going to kind,of create a very distressed look that's,how i made a haunted house using five, pieces of foam board from dollar tree i,love this thing so much it is so cool, and i feel like you can take advantage,of the inside of the haunted house and, maybe put some ghost or something inside,of there i truly love this diy and if,you recreate it make sure you tag me,because i would love to see it,every year i love to make potion bottles,on my channel i don't like to just put, labels on the front i like to make them, unique so i'm going to share with you, everything i stuck in my bottles for the, first bottle i got these bones from, dollar tree and i place the bones inside,of the bottle all of the bottles i'm,using are from dollar tree the second, bottle i'm going to be using the small, little skull heads that i got at,michael's i paid around four dollars for, them halloween and michaels is already,on sale for 40,off i then cut down some of these, broomsticks that i got from dollar tree,i had to cut them down to fit the inside,of this glass i got foam bones from, dollar tree so i put those in another, glass i decided to dirty up some water, with some acrylic paint and pour that, into the first glass that has the bones,so it would look a little bit different, from the one that has the foam bones in,another glass i'm going to be placing, some of these spiders that i also got, from dollar tree if you don't want to,buy a bunch of individual things for the, glasses i recommend getting food, coloring this way you're able to use, water and food coloring to get some, really spooky potion bottles finally the, last bottle i have to share with you, guys which is my favorite i got one of,those bigger ghosts that you saw me use, earlier and i cut some pieces down that,i filled up with some cotton at the top,and tied i'm making little ghosts out of,these and then i just painted little, faces on them i'm going to be putting, these inside of the bottle i did glue, the bigger ghost to the lid of the, bottle so that way they kind of float up,a little bit better i made some labels,i'll link down below for you guys that i,printed out on some sticker paper and, then i cut out just using my scissors so,here are the labels and what goes with, each bottle the skulls has a label that, says pickled skulls then the brooms have,a witch's broom label the ghosts have a,bottle of booze label the foam bones, have a label that says bone powder it's,not, powdery by any means but hey the, spider's label is spider venom then the, potion bottles that i made with the food, coloring the red one i did arsenic, poisoning then the green one is snake, venom finally our last label is dragon, bones and that's how you make these, really cool unique potion bottles don't,get me wrong i still like the bottles, where they just have a label on the, front and the bottle is like a solid, color however i prefer these these are,so much more interesting to look at and, they can be kind of funny if you can, find a cool play on words like the, bottle of booze one i love love love, making potion bottles on this channel, but like i said i like to do them in a,unique way, last year we used the dollar tree doll, houses to make haunted houses we're,gonna do something similar but different,i'll be using two of the pink doll, houses from dollar tree i'm removing the, windows frames doors, roof everything from it i'm just gonna, have the base of the house i painted one, house all yellow and then the other, house all orange i had to do a few, layers of paint to get an opaque look so,i did one layer of paint wait for it to,dry and then move on to the next layer, you don't want to keep adding layers, when the paint is still wet otherwise, you're not going to achieve the look, that you want dollar tree carries white, houses as well and i'm going to be using, this for the top of what i'm making i,removed again all the window frames the, door frame the roof and i'm just keeping, that all white but i did paint the roof,of this house black then the doors i,took out of the houses i painted yellow, orange and white,i'm going to be stacking the houses on,top of each other to do this i have to,remove the plastic corners that are on,the bottom of the houses that are going,to be stacked on top of each other if,you don't remove those pieces you won't,be able to glue them down flat to each, other so i removed those pieces and then,i glued the houses down and basically,i'm making a candy corn house you can, then put back in your windows and the, frames i only put back in the windows, that were white and i actually used some,of the windows from the, bottom houses, for the top of the roof then glued the, houses to a piece of foam board because,i'm going to be using spackle you put, speckle inside of a piping bag with an,icing tip and then you just treat it as,if it were icing that you're icing on,top of a gingerbread house dollar tree, does carry spackle but my favorite, spackle is dap spackle that you find at,home depot it's just creamy you don't,have to mix it with water you get more, bang for your buck i like it a lot more,so i just did like some different, designs on top of this i embellished, this with some fake candy corns and i'll,link the seller i used down below for,you guys i got it from etsy, then i used some puff paint from dollar, tree to create more detailed designs, that i really cannot do with the spackle,to make it look more like a gingerbread, house little designs that look like, lights and wreaths, and snow,it's just easier to use the puff paint, for these designs than spackle like i,said because spackle it's like,no you would have a very hard time doing, this with spackle so we are making a,gingerbread haunted house type of,situation even though this is candy corn,so it's a little bit sweeter it's so,cute and easy to do you guys and it's,really fun because you can go like any, design it doesn't have to be just candy, corn i absolutely love the way that this, turned out i want to make some little, fake cookies to go along with this, right now at dollar tree you can find, halloween christmas trees i'll be using, nine for this project i remove the, bottom off of all the trees except one,and then push all the branches of the, trees to one side i'm going to share, with you how you can make one bigger, substantial fuller tree using multiple, trees dollar tree christmas trees are, very sparse they look kind of sad on,their own so you want to get at least, two to make a fuller tree i recommend, three but you want at least two what, you'll do is you'll use zip ties to,attach a group of trees together whether, that's two three four more than four it,just starts to look like funny so what, you're gonna do is just use those zip, ties and tie all your trees together so,i'm gonna do three rows of trees and in,each row there's gonna be three attached,to,each other so i have the top of my,christmas tree which is three trees and, then when i attach the middle of the, christmas tree i attach the top of these, trees that i'm adding to the bottom of,the trees that are already there and, that's how i attach all the trees, together all the trees are attached you,can cut the zip ties off and then place, the stands on the one piece that you, still left the plastic on,i'll share with you guys how i decorated, mine dollar tree carries miniature, ornaments that are great for these mini, trees i picked up three packs and i,mainly focused on the front of my tree i,do this with my christmas tree too i,don't put ornaments all the time all, around the tree i just make sure that if,i don't put it on the back i don't make, the front too weighted otherwise it'll,fall over on you i also added some of,these ornaments these i ended up getting,at home goods i got them last year they, were 9.99,so i placed some of those on my tree, right now dollar tree has candy corn, picks so i remove the candy corn off of,the pigs and then i glue them to the, christmas tree i purchased this ghost, pick from michael's for a little over, two dollars this is going to be my tree, topper and then i used one of the webs, from dollar tree as the skirt for my,tree that's how you make a bigger tree, using these small trees from dollar tree, this tree is about three feet tall and,it cost me 11.25,to make which is a steal of course the, price of the ornaments that's different, but the tree base itself was 11.25,right now dollar tree has foam skulls in,and what's nice about these is they are, easier to work with than the plastic, ones they get in so what i'm doing is,i'm taking this little like skewer it's,honestly a kitchen thing i'm making a,hole through my skulls and then feeding,a broomstick through the skulls i'll be,using five total i figure out how i want, these skeletons to look when they're,stacked on top of each other and i make, the holes according to that and i really, recommend using something,to create those holes instead of just, the broomstick because it's really hard,to create a hole with just a broomstick, once i have all the skulls on top of the, broomstick i went outside and i spray, painted them with a cream color i,decided to spray paint them again as i,said earlier it's just it's faster to do,for me but you can always use an acrylic, paint i then went in with acrylic paint,to add the details so the shading the, highlighting that i need the cracks that,i need i kind of just played it by ear i,started with black and i put those, inside of the areas i wanted to be the, darkest so the eyes and the nose i then, went in with like brown tones and tried,to make the skulls look a little bit, more dirty, and then i did like a grayish color, around the teeth just figure out what, works for you,i purchased this planter at dollar tree,i'm gonna be gluing some foam pieces, also from dollar tree to the bottom of,the planter and once i have those foam, pieces in i push my broomstick through, the foam so now it's standing upright i,placed the kitchen towel at the bottom,of this to dummy it up so that i could, put some stones from dollar tree inside,of here but not have to use as many, stones you need something down there, though that's weighted otherwise this is,going to fall over on you because it's,so lightweight to really spook this up i,put some webs from dollar tree on the, bottom of this and that's it that's how,i made this i don't really know what you, want to call this like tower of skulls i,i don't know but it's really spooky, looking, really wanted to do another diy using, the foam skulls from dollar tree so for, this project we're gonna need two of the, paper towel holders from dollar tree you,are going to push two heads through a,paper towel holder and then once you, have those two heads through there you, take another paper towel holder and put,it through the top of the skull now i,purchased two of these wood rounds from, dollar tree i'm going to be gluing my,paper towel holders to these wood rounds, using hot glue i recommend using, something else than hot glue i'm just, using hot glue because it dries quickly, and i'm filming i'm trying to do things, fast if you use hot glue like i did, though do not put anything heavy on top,of this and make sure you put more hot, glue on the bottom paper towel holder, that's touching that bottom wood piece, don't worry about it it gets covered up,or you can use something to cover it up,i then went ahead and i spray painted, this entire thing black i then went in,with some gold acrylic paint to,highlight areas of the skull that's how,you make this really cool skull stand i,wouldn't put anything too heavy on the,top of this especially if you use hot, glue i absolutely love the way that this, one turned out, this is a simple project you can get, these traffic cones in the toy section,of dollar tree and just paint them to,look like candy corn make sure you're,using a paint that is meant for outside, use so in this case you're just going to,use white and yellow paint and you're,going to have to do a few layers of this, because it's plastic if you use an,acrylic paint it doesn't really go on,plastic the nicest the first time around,so you have to do a few layers to get, that opaque look what you see right here,is my second layer of paint and you can,see it starts looking way more opaque, with the second layer of paint you can,use this outside to make some really, cute decor i think it's super unique, because i never really see people, decorate with candy corn outside the, other thing you can do is get styrofoam, from dollar tree the ones that look like, cones and paint that instead which i,prefer this way just because i don't,have to do a bunch of layers of paint i,just do one the way you get these to,stand outside without falling over with, any type of wind is by using bamboo, skewers from dollar tree i break them in,half i stick them in the ground and then, put the cone over the skewer and i go,straight down with the cone so that the, skewer doesn't poke out of the sides and, that's it these are so cute i want to,make more and have them all over for, halloween, for our next project you're going to,need some wood beads dollar tree carries, them they're unfinished you can paint, them black if you want or,you can buy them already colored and i,have this black garland i bought at,walmart last year when it was on,clearance i probably paid like a dollar, for all of this so i'm going to use that, instead, now i'm going to also be using some fake, apples you can get these at hobby lobby, for inexpensive price i think i paid, three dollars for a big bag of them,we're going to be making poison apple, garland so i'm going to be using these, yarn needles and i'm going to tie some, string through one of the yarn needles i,then i'm going to start putting some, beads on top of that and as i put beads,i'm also going to be putting some of the, foam, apples now i want to do this beforehand, because once i have glue on top of this, which is what we're going to be using,i'm going to have a hard time getting, the needle through the glue so i need, this big needle to get through the foam,of the apple and i use pliers to pull it,out so i push the needle through the, apple and then use pliers to pull it out,i used a mixture of red and green apples, now to get the poison apple face and the, look of it i'm going to be using hot, glue now when you're doing this you, don't want to hold the apple for long, just hold it to get the initial face, down and then once you start to pour the, rest of the hot glue stop holding the, apple unless you want to burn your, fingerprints off unless you have those, glue gun finger protectors you can use, those but if you don't have those, don't hold it long because you will burn, your fingers make sure wherever you're,pouring the hot glue on the apple you, don't mind hot glue getting on that, surface so in this case i had these, little coasters that i was using if the,hot glue got on there it's really easy,to take off i like to use hot glue for, this because i like the 3d look it gives,it it makes it look more like it was, dipped into something you can always, just use paint instead and not do it,this way but i really do like the way, that the hot glue makes this look wait, for the hot glue to completely dry, before you start to paint over it i used,a lime green paint and a red paint the,red apples i painted with the lime green, and the green apples i painted with the,red color you are going to have to do a,few layers of paint and wait for each, layer to dry before putting on your next, layer the reason you're gonna have to do,a few layers of paint is to get the, opaque look unless you don't really mind,a bit of the hot glue still showing, underneath your paint now to hang this,on top of my fireplace i'm just tying, the ends of my garland to some command, strips and then i place that on my,fireplace now this garland is heavy, because of the apples so to get the, apples to stay where i want them to stay, put i'm using some glue dots that i got, from dollar tree i just place them on,the back of each apple and then place, the apple exactly how i want it to be i,made this garland a little bit too long, for my fireplace so please try to excuse, that this garland is so darn cute i have, never seen something like this before,i've seen the poison apples that you can,buy but i've never seen a garland of it,it's so cute to do and last year i made, the poison apples but i made them bigger, and it's the exact same thing as before,it's just easier to make the faces on,the bigger apples you use your hot glue, gun to create the face and the little, dip look to it and then once the glue, dries you can paint it i did shade, around the eyes and the nose with some, black paint on these apples to really, give it some dimension,i shared this project last year not, everyone has seen it so i want to,reshare it because it's really good you,can get some blank t-shirts at dollar, tree if you can find 100 cotton t-shirts,i recommend getting those you're also, going to pick up some of their diy wood, blanks then get an empty spray bottle, and bleach you're going to fill the, spray bottle up with bleach if you have,a piece of cardboard lying around put, that in between your t-shirts what we're,going to do is we are going to place our, wood blanks on top of the t-shirts and, spray the bleach on top of that what, happens is the design that's on the wood, blank transfers onto your t-shirts the, bleach just goes around it but still, leaves the design it's really really, cool, after they're done you can go ahead and, wash these inside of the washing machine, and that's it so easy to do and super, cool next up we're going to be making, the hocus pocus book from dollar tree, you want to pick up a blank book as well,as their faux leather that you're going,to find near all of the cricket items so,it's a long roll what you'll do is,you'll cut that piece down to wrap, around the inside of the book as well as,the outside once you have that cut down, just glue it into place with your hot, glue gun now we'll be using some fake, eyeballs from dollar tree you're going,to want to go ahead and cut those in,half all you have to do is find the hole, that's in the ball and then put your, scissor through it and that way you'll,be able to cut it in half once you have,it cut in half take the part that has,the iris and glue that onto your book, now this is the most time consuming part,of this diy but it is so easy to do you, just take your hot glue gun and you use,it to create the designs that are on the, book you want to do layers of this so in,the corners of the book there's these, little snake designs so you want to,start off with a layer there and that's,going to be the very base of the design, and once that dries start adding the, snake design over it so it starts to,give it that 3d effect another example, are the stitches and the wounds i,started off making the wounds and then i,waited for that to dry and then i went, over that with the glue again to create, the stitches and that's how i created, the 3d effect after you have all your, designs down it's time to paint, everything i recommend going over every, design except for the eyelid area with, black paint this gives it a really good, base and it gives the paint that you, apply afterwards something to attach to,after i have every area that i want, painted black i then go in with my,colors the only colors i used on the, book itself not the eye were silver, black, white and brown paint if you're into, highlighting and shading like i am all,you have to do is dip your finger inside,of the paint and rub it over the leather,it's really easy to blend it that way, versus using a paint brush and that's,how i shade it and i highlighted the, book the only other thing that was left, for me to do was to paint the eyeball, the eyeball of the hocus pocus book is,not yellow i went with blue i just used, some blue paint to paint over the iris, and then black paint to paint over the, pupil a little more i love the way that, this book came out if you cannot find, the leather from dollar tree i will link,my other tutorial down below for you, guys that one i use toilet paper and, anybody can find toilet paper i mean i,guess if it was 20 20 you might not have, been able to find toilet paper but now,you can moving right along from dollar, tree you're going to want to pick up,some of their hanging coffin signs and i,recommend at least using three but if,you want to use more, honestly the more the better and you're,also going to be using these chalkboard, signs again from dollar tree now i had,my husband cut down these signs to make, pieces that are going to go around the, coffin, again you do not need to use a saw or,anything like that you can use scissors, now go ahead and glue your coffins on,top of each other and the reason you, need a few of these is so that the, chalkboard has something to attach to so,once i have all of my coffins glued on,top of each other i can now attach the, chalkboard to the sides of the coffin,i used hot glue to do this but i really, recommend using a more heavy duty glue i,just use the hot glue because it dries, quickly and it i don't have to like wait, forever to finish, filming a video this part is completely, optional you can keep the imagery as is,but i decided to paint over that imagery, using some black paints, and i also painted over the edges of the, chalkboard now it's time to decorate the, inside of the coffin i got these skulls, from dollar tree and i'm going to be,gluing one on top of the other and i,just use hot glue to do this now as you,do this you're going to notice that, these skulls are kind of tipping over, because they're very lightweight they, don't have a base under them when you, stick them inside of the coffin the, walls of the coffin are gonna keep them, upright then i added some fairy lights, now i have to credit somebody for this, diy my husband if you guys like this diy,say thanks to matt in the comments, because he's the one who came up with, this he actually made a different coffin, using the wall shelves from dollar tree,we didn't have enough for me to do that,on camera so that's why i ended up using, the chalkboard signs i'm gonna show you, guys how i decorated his coffin i got, this little skeleton from dollar tree i,went ahead and glued him inside i added, some web and spiders from dollar tree, and then that's just how i decorated, matt's coffin so again thanks to matt, these are super cool they're about two, feet tall and they wouldn't even work, outside if you wanted them to that's it,for these halloween diys i hope you, enjoyed the video let me know your, favorite down in the comments and i will, see you next time take care bye

DIY Cute Halloween Decorations Not So/Too Scary Halloween Kids Party Ideas & Printables Paper Décor

hey guys welcome back to the birth party, channel today i'm going to share with, you some easy diy ideas for styling a,gorgeous but not so spooky halloween, party for your kiddos at home, all the printable decorations that i,have used in this party including the, desserts table and the kids table you,can find at birdsparty.com and i'll be,sure to leave the link down description, box and hopefully you'll feel inspired,to recreate some of these ideas at home, for these cupcake toppers that we're,going to do next,i'm actually using the cupcake toppers,or the party tags that come in our, printable collection and they kind of,come in an a4 sheet like this and you, have different designs you have happy, halloween you have boo,you have the little um,skull and the little bat and the ghost,as well so to make these i just punched, them out using a scalloped paper puncher, and once again i'll leave some links, down description box where you can find, some of these supplies and basically, you're just going to print it onto white, cardstock and you're going to take your, punch and you're going to punch out the, little circles just like so,and we have used them as cupcake toppers, here but you see later on in the video, how you can use them to decorate, different aspects of your desserts table, your party table and i'm also using a,some glitter cardstock and some fancy, cardstock that i had at home that, matched my party colors perfectly but, this is an optional you don't have to do,this if you haven't got it but it's,great to use scrapbook paper that you,may already have at home as well and to,mount them,my little toppers onto the cardstock i'm,just using some 3d,foam pads which again i had at home but,you can use things like hot glue or just,a little dab of a strong glue as well, and because these are going to be,transformed into tree toppers obviously, you don't just have to use them for, cupcakes you can spike them onto cakes, and donuts you know use them to decorate, cocktail glasses you know put some, olives through some cherries whatever, you like, obviously kiddo friendly cocktails or,mocktails i should say,but basically they're just so versatile, and you can use them on so many, different, decorations and desserts to jazz the map,and to make them super festive for, halloween our printable collection also, comes with those little flags that you,can see there that i created and the, candy corn little cutouts and for the, cupcake recipe i'll leave the link down, description box as well and as you can,see here i've used them also to decorate,a candy jar and the the principle is,basically the same for the circles, and for the ribbon or the wrap around my,jar i am using the scrapbook paper that, comes with our kit i'm basically just, going to print it onto normal paper and,the idea is to wrap it around the jar or,you can wrap it around a drinks bottle,or you can wrap it around some napkins, and create some napkin rings, the possibilities are endless when you, have a paper printable collection like, this one so i'm just giving you some, ideas of what i use for this party but,you know you are not limited to these at,all and if your paper is not long enough, obviously because it comes out of your, printer you just put another you know, band together, end to end,you probably uh can see better than i'm,i'm actually explaining here so you're,just going to wrap that around your, container your candy jar or your bottle, and just use some sticky tape on the, back and a voila i think it looks so,cute and helps to personalize any boring, jar that you may have at home or any, container as well to dress up your table, and here it is on the desserts table, looking fabulous with some candy inside, and little buffet cards which is also, from our collection next up we're gonna,be making this super adorable not so,spooky uh halloween napkin rings like i,said you can use these tags for so many, things you can use them to seal, envelopes you know create tree toppers, favorite tags you name it and also i am,using the glitter cardstock once again,to help match everything and i just cut,out a little, strip a little rectangle, about the width of my ruler and i just, stapled it together and voila you can, totally leave it as it is and use it for, different types of parties you know the, same idea and technique if you haven't,got a nice napkin ring you know this, will do the job just fine and will look, super glam and super pretty and, customized as well and then on top once, again i used my 3d foam pads and i stuck,a little printable topper just to help, match the whole thing together and this,is why i love printables so much when it,comes to decorating any of my parties my,kids parties because it helps to add, your own personal style to a table, without much cost at all you know you,can take a printable kit like this and, just really transform it into really,high-end looking decorations and, something that looks like it was done, you know by a custom designer and nobody, would know that you've actually diy them, next up we're going to be making these, adorable little pokemon boxes actually i,use some halloween trail mix inside them, but in the past i have actually used, them um to serve hot dogs so like many, hot dogs for the kids they work great, you know but they're obviously for dry, goods it works best so i use popcorn, with some candy corn and some other, candy as well they're just like treat, dishes and we have the template in the,kit and to jazz them up a little bit, more i use the boost stickers that come,in the kit,and i think they look so adorable super, easy and you know once again it helps to,tie your whole thing together, next up i will show you how i also use, these tags alongside uh with a little, cute about cut house to create my table, centerpiece and these can also be used,as straw decorations you can see,or like photo booth props as well they, work just as great you know or you can, print them onto a sticker paper and use, them as stickers for the kids to stick, onto, scrapbooks or you know make little cards, for their friends for halloween you name,it you know the possibilities are, endless with these principles and just, once again i used one of the cut outs, this time is the little bat,and i stuck that to the top of my straw, the venti part so that i could kind of,bend the little bat back and forth you, know to decorate my table centerpiece, and i put it inside a vase with a little,a boo, little pick and and voila is super, simple and so adorable and your guests, will love it i'm sure, next time we're going to be jazzing up,some tableware and you know that you may, have tableware at home there's not so,expensive they found in a clearance, aisle and basically you can personalize, them and make them look super high-end,and so adorable for your halloween party, with a little, ghost bat and little skull stickers i,also printed the boot stickers once, again like i said it's super versatile, onto label paper and these come with a,special outline that you can,cut around which is so forgiving so you, don't have to cut and worry about you, know, cutting inside the lines or anything, like that so you just basically print it,off cut it and stick it to your straw to,your paper goods or anywhere else you, like, this kit also comes with large cut outs, that you can use to create a banner like,i have done here or you can use it to,jazz up a little photo booths or to,create a table backdrop you name it and, basically i'm just using some string and,you can use twine or you could have used, some fishing line whatever you like and, you're going to print out your little, characters i'm just using the ghost and, little skull this time because i use the,bat for the table centerpiece and i,basically add a little bit of sticky, tape to the end of your string twine or,whatever you're using just to make it,easier to thread through the holes and,as you noticed i just punched a couple,of holes on either side you don't have,to be precise but roughly at the same, point on each character so that you have,a nice band and you'll hang you know, roughly at the same height if you know, what i mean so you can make these, banners as large or as long as you like,or as short as you need to decorate the, front of your table you know for your, walls or anywhere else you like as well, and to complement this little banner i,decided to make a pom-pom banner as well, and here i'm using some black orange and, purple pom-poms which i had at home but,you can use any color you like and once, again i'm using my little uh wool um,string and this is actually found in the, sewing aisle of my craft store, along with this larger needle and i'm,basically just going to thread that, string through the pom-poms and i'm,using this string because it's actually,more,cost-effective or you know cheaper, should i say then uh twine or baker's,twine or something like that so use what, you got on hand use what your budget, allows but basically the same technique, whatever string type you're using and, you're just going to thread that through, the the pom-poms and alternating the, colors obviously and i had some large,pom-poms as well like large purple ones,so that adds a little bit of interest, and it's so easy to make as you can see,you know you can bunch up all the little, balls together and make them, really tight and i can't wait to make, this,a garland like this for christmas as,well and for different seasons and, basically i just added that to my,garland and some little, punched out little stars using my,cardstock just to add a little bit more, color and fun to the bottom of the table, and here it is in all its glory, and next up i'm going to show you how to,make this a really cool, super fun, bubbling cauldron with these balloons, this is probably my favorite diy of all,of them because it's just turned out so,adorable and it's really inexpensive and, easy to make as well i'll also be sure,to leave a link down description box to,my video where i show you how to make, balloon garlands and basically the, principle is exactly the same as that, but you're going to make like a mini, version of a balloon garland and to,start off you're going to tie two, balloons together like i'm doing here, obviously you can use whatever colors, you know you like and because my colors, were black orange and purple this is the, color that i'm using for in the bubbles,if you like i'm going to use some, fishing line as well and once you've,tied the two balloons together you're,just going to tie,one end of the fishing line leave the, other end attached to the reel you know, you don't cut it off just yet um because, you don't know how long uh your garland,is going to be so once you've got that, kind of pairing of balloons you're just, going to tie them to the next ones, hopefully you can see what i'm doing, here and just going to wrap really, tightly pulling uh the balloons together,to bunch them up into a little bunch as,you can see here and wrapping the, fishing line around be firm with how you, pull but not don't pull it too hard, obviously because you could uh rip the, balloons and you know the line as well, and once you've got to the desired, length of garland you're going to shove, that into a plastic cauldron and once, you have a look at it you might have a,few gaps at the end and basically what i,tend to do is either use um glue dots or,use a little bit of low temperature um,hot glue gun to stick some balloons to,where there are any gaps and voila so,easy and it makes a huge statement piece, and your desserts table will look super, fabulous and your guests will love it,and your kids will love it which is the, main thing as well as you saw you know, these diys are not difficult obviously,if you have the printable kit it makes, your life, super easy and,you know much more fun as well to,decorate simple you can make your own, treats you know you can bake them at,home or you can just decant them into, pretty little jars you know jazz them up,a little bit and you know create a,really really adorable halloween table, and i just wanted to show you guys to,finish it off how i styled the kids, table i used some wallpaper for my,tablecloth if you like and i just added, some paper goods you know some of the, stuff that we created like the little, napkin rings and also some little treat, boxes that come as part of our printable, collection uh the little cute tableware, that we created with the sticky um,little icons little ghosts and bats and,the little skull as well, and there you have it i hope you guys, enjoy these ideas and feel inspired to,have a go obviously there are many more, templates in this printable kit so be,sure to check it out and download yours,to create a fabulous halloween party, hope you enjoyed the ideas and if you, like this video please don't forget to,give it a thumbs up it lets me know that, you like this kind of content thank you,so much for watching and i'll see you, next time bye bye,you
