what is up you guys welcome back to,another decorate with me video today we,are decorating the remainder of the,house we are going to decorate the,living room the mantel,and the powder room as well and i gotta,switch out all of the scents so right,now i'm switching out the oils and the,wall diffusers as well as our towels and,just everything so that it is swapped,out so that it is spooky season goodness,and everything has all the vibes so i,got this new wall plug which i thought,was so cute so i switched out everything,in the powder room and i'll share more,of that in a future house tour whenever,i do a decorated house tour i switched,out the table runner which is new as of,this year and i love it so much it adds,a ton of ambiance which is so cute so,then from there i cleaned up the living,room i tossed all the pillows into the,living room that are all halloween,themed,subbed out my regular coasters for these,very very cute ray done pumpkin coasters,and we finished off hotel transylvania 3,because we had started it in a previous,video,and then i wanted to do the coffee table,now this piece i just want to say i,think is my favorite piece of decor for,the season,at first i was confused not gonna lie,and this was sent to me by a very good,friend kelly and i had no idea what she,was talking about and then i received it,and i thought it was the greatest thing,i had ever seen,second place this guy,so between the mummy and the fish tank i,just,i'm so happy so this is a smaller,version of the mummy that i had from,last year so he fit perfectly on the,mantel i wasn't sure how i was gonna do,the mantel yet and just like in other,videos i usually refer back to my videos,from the previous year to see how i did,things but i tried not to do that this,year just you know to give it a fresh,flow and do things a bit differently,usually i have this guy on the mantel,and he ended up actually going elsewhere,so there's a lot of things that moved,around i love this put a spell on you,book and i feel like it goes perfectly i,got this eyeball from michael's last,year i think it was and i think they do,still sell it and it just reminded me of,the hocus pocus vibes and the book so,those go together on the mantel and,these little candle holders i got them,in a pack of four off of amazon not a,halloween decoration but just goes so,well with these candles that you just,screw the bottom you put two batteries,in there you twist the bottom and it,turns on kind of like a real flickering,candle just no fire hazard and then the,other thing that i do is i will put real,candles but i'll show you how i make,them look real without actually lighting,them just because i have cobwebs and,stuff all around let's not light the,candles and also why so i have had this,particular candle the gather candle i,love it it's a really old bath and body,works candle that i love the smell of i,just don't want to burn it,and then these ropes i've had them for a,while they were actually just cut off of,an old laundry hamper that we had,upstairs and i thought that they were,really cool they kind of looked like a,noose so i just tucked them underneath,of a few heavier pieces and i just kind,of twist it around and it really does,just kind of have that vibe but this,year we took the mantle up a notch so,i'm really excited so i did some cobwebs,i actually had to pull them off,afterwards and restart which was the,most,frustrating thing cobwebs are not an,easy thing to do i feel like less is,more and the more that you can pull it,thin the better it looks if you keep it,too thick it doesn't look that great so,i was kind of struggling with it and it,did look good but i had to take it down,because i'm going to show you what i got,i got such good finds this year at,walmart of all places so i ended up,doing what i usually do i do the cobwebs,from the top of the tv on the left side,down there's a trick to this and i've,shared this with you guys before if you,start on the left top side and work your,way diagonally to the right to the eye,it will just look better so when you're,decorating if you can do things that way,it will just look better so top left,side of the tv cobwebs come down all the,way down to the bottom right on the,opposite side so i filled this sucker,with cobwebs and it's too bad that i,needed to take it apart and restart so,fresh start hollow wishes the next night,we made a margarita i wanted to share,this with you guys i've been sharing it,a lot on my instagram but i started, my margaritas with tahin and,it's basically like a chili lime,flavoring and the other thing i added,for halloween was some black,sea salt and i also mix it with some oak,smoked sea salt and then i just for,filler i put in some pink himalayan rock,salt so i just put that mixture together,in this little margarita,shaker situation bowl topper whatever,you would call it and that way i'm good,to go every single time that i want to,make a margarita now the way that i make,a margarita is ancho chile reyes mezcal,lime juice love this quick lime bottle,and some fresh i say fresh pickled,because it's handmade fresh pickled,jalapeno juice and i put that in there,and it is delicious it's spicy but,because it's pickled and not fresh,jalapeno it doesn't kill me as much so,this is one of the finds that i got at,walmart these i think were like two,dollars each you put the batteries in,you twist them just like the michael's,ones but they're two dollars and they,have the little stand they're so cool,so i put those on the mantel alongside,some,fake candles which i will show you in a,second got to replace the batteries on,those and then i did some fairy lights,as well but look at how cute these,little candle sticks are by the way i,love this ghostbusters the ones with the,one with the girls the music is so good,and it's hilarious so these are the,flickering candles and this is how i,make the real candles look fake i just,put a little tea light in there but the,the walmart candlesticks i was very,impressed and there's like a little,cobweb on there super cute i got this,last year that little tombstone i got,that at spirit halloween put them right,in the middle between the two candles,this was the other find i got at walmart,what,so i got this nightmare before christmas,bag of jack skellington's and then i got,this for like i think it said 398 and,that's canadian so it's this black mesh,comes with a bunch of bats i did not use,the bats but you totally can but this,mesh i only needed,this piece because i cut it that like,along the long way like the length i cut,it in half and i draped it,this i just feel like this made it look,so much better and it was three dollars,so i draped this across the front of the,mantel and this was why i had to kind of,pull off the cobwebs,and i just feel like it made the rope,pop so much more it made the candles pop,it made oh and then i draped the rope,through this guy's hand that hand i'm,pretty sure i got him at michael's also,dead man's toe candle is from last,year's halloween,hocus pocus party which,we can't talk about the fact that,there's no hocus pocus this year it is,the biggest disappointment of my life,alongside the fact that there is no,hotel transylvania 4 what happened so,sad okay i did a battery haul from,amazon i get all my batteries from,amazon so much cheaper so these as well,as the one in the last video that i,shared with you guys they all take these,types of batteries like basically what,you'd put in a watch so i subbed out all,the batteries that were in these these,had lasted me quite a few halloweens but,i love the vibe of these they're like a,metallic like they're dripping,so they go perfectly on the mantel and i,put those in all the candle holders as,well as topping any of the real candles,with them so when the lights are out it,actually looks like the candle itself is,on when it's not at all,so then i moved into my office oh i,didn't say that we were going to,decorate my office we're decorating my,office i had a very like harvesty kind,of look to the office to keep with the,boho theme so i had that really cute,gnome an extra pumpkin that little,pumpkin is from michaels they still do,sell it,and i had this cute little mickey,succulent that i paid way too much for,he's from box lunch but he's the tiniest,little thing and then i subbed out,anything that i had as a pencil holder,or scissors holder i used my measuring,cups for that i had this cute mummy and,i was going to put these orange candle,sticks but they didn't fit at all so i,used the blood dripping ones you can get,those at spirit halloween they're really,cool i used them last year and you just,light them and they kind of drip red,it's really cool added some lights,my gnome,snow globe which is really cute next to,the rock salt lamp and i've got my,little pencil case pencil holder i love,this pumpkin,holder i use it for my remotes and then,i had more fairy lights in here this,pumpkin was a diy project i did two,years ago i think it's all it was all,filmed so you can go find that video and,then i just added a couple little,details of books i really want to read,that super excited to read those books,and then my little jack and sally this,guy's a giveaway by the way next week,that stitch is gonna be the added some more fairy lights so,you can get these really cool fairy,lights i will either go orange or purple,and they're very halloweeny they're very,perfect,so i've re-fixed up all of the,cobwebs i folded some blankets put some,pillows away i got carl a ghost host bed,from our not so scary collection and i,just want to say i don't know if he,knows that mommy made the bed for him,but he loves this bed so we have the,same one as part of our christmas,collection and he has that one,he loves it,it's a it's a bougie bed for a little,dude um i did end up getting the,succulent head the mummy sucker is a,skeleton,love that and then this witch's brew i,put some black moss in the bottom from,michael's with a little picks picks and,sticks of some pumpkins and it just,turned out super super well i'm not,quite done with this spot of the house,but i do love it i'm super happy with,the way that everything turned out and,honestly if you guys loved this type of,video and just want more hey everybody and welcome back to my,channel my name is keeley and today,we're decorating outside of my house for,halloween if you're new then this is,going to be part three of this whole,halloween decorating thing i have,already decorated my front porch and,inside my house and now we're working on,the front yard we're doing a diy,graveyard we're doing lots of budget,friendly outdoor decorations and i'm,sharing it all with you guys so you can,do it too i love halloween as you can,tell i am dressed for the occasion and,every time i try to film outside the,entire forest and all the bugs and the,birds and everything just wants to talk,to me so if you guys could please stop i,am not snow white i'm trying to make a,video here at this point in the fall and,in decorating season my blood type is,basically pumpkin spice because i've,been decorating for so long and i want,people to drive by my house and stop and,slow down i want them to be like oh my,gosh like that's been my goal since,childhood is for every holiday that you,can decorate outside i want my house to,be the one that kids go oh my gosh look,at that house so that's what we're doing,and that's what i do for every holiday,if you're new my name is keeley and i,love holidays they're my thing so let's,get started decorating outside also if,you haven't caught the first part i've,already decorated some inside my house,and my front porch so go and check those,out and there'll be more to come because,i also will be doing more inside my,house in another video and a whole,complete house tour after you've seen,this one so let's get going let's get,decorating because we got a lot to do,and it's already october y'all so i,built these tombstones for the graveyard,well actually tim built them i didn't so,these two are built out of old pallet,wood and this is just some like old,wood that we got it like goes um on the,bottom of a dresser it's really thin i'm,about to paint those and then i also got,these yard stakes from lowe's that i'm,gonna paint,and we're gonna attach like the chains,that i bought so they can kind of go,around all the gravestones i also have,two other gravestones that light up,so there should be a good amount of,gravestones in our graveyard i haven't,decided where i'm going to do it yet,there's like this area of my yard,and then there's,this area of the yard i do have a plan,to hang witch hats from the tree like,around the bottom of the tree in the,front so i don't know if i should do the,graveyard like,like right here i should do it like over,here,so spray paint is my best friend when it,comes to things like this it's super,quick and easy and inexpensive and for,the gravestones i'm just gonna spray,paint them gray and then put a little,black around the edges to make them more,like age looking feeling like a real,artist y'all,i picked up these yard stakes from,lowe's and my idea is to use them to,make like a fence around the graveyard,as well as put them on the back of the,gravestones so that i can stick them,into the ground i'm basically bob the,builder right now okay,for the front of the graves i'm just,going to paint a few names and things on,them i did put a couple from hocus pocus,of course and then beetlejuice i try to,remember that perfection isn't necessary,when it comes to outdoor decor it's,going to weather and it just needs to,look good for what i use it for you know,people probably aren't going to be,inspecting my tombstones on halloween,night either let's be honest and if they,are i guess that's on them,if you're new here my name is keeley i'm,30 years old and my middle name is,really rainbow i love halloween candy,but i don't think fun size candy bars,are actually any fun and it goes without,saying that holidays are my jam i make,youtube videos about motherhood diys,home decor and what it's like to be me,someone who's slightly domestic and,really really relatable,i have two daughters who are four or,nine and a husband who works in the oil,field which means he is hardly ever here,sometimes i lie about what time it is so,that bedtime can come sooner and i'm,only a pinterest mom if it can be done,in like get to know each,other first,do you like scary movies or no for,someone who likes halloween as much as i,do i actually really don't like scary,movies to tell you the truth,like let's be real adulthood is scary,enough already without needing it to be,more scary right,so for the witch hats i've been taking,the hat,so they're really cheap they're just i,bought all these from amazon i'll link,them below but either side of like the,very top i'm cutting like a little tiny,slit like and then i'm taking the,fishing line and i'm putting it through,the,holes that i cut so it's,on either side,right through here,and then i'm just feeding it through,until it's like about as far as i want,it hanging from the tree,then tie a knot that i have coming up,here it will go to the tree and then i'm,cutting this side a little bit,and this is gonna be what i attach to,the tea light,so then i'll feed that back through the,hole,that i cut,and reach up,and grab it so now,it hangs,like this and there's also some,fishing line inside to hang a tea light,off of if you want to so there's that,and now we're going to put them up after,i do,all of them because i have a lot thank,you amazon,so i know everyone's seen the hanging,witch hatch trend and they look so cute,i have some inside already actually but,i knew i needed some outside too you,could say that i was influenced,i thought they really fit in well with,the vibe i was going for though and it's,a super inexpensive and easy way to like,make a statement you know on amazon i,think i spent less than like a dollar,each too and thanks to my husband we,already had the fishing line of course,and this is a way better use of it than,fishing let's be real,if you've watched me before you know i,like to ball out on a budget and if,you're new i'll go ahead and put that,out there now my decor is definitely not,the most expensive on the block and it's,definitely not always perfect but that's,okay i like diying stuff,i love sharing the process with you guys,even if it's not always glamorous and i,love hearing that y'all think i'm,relatable i also love seeing your decor,too so if you post it somewhere be sure,to tag me as long as your the,ground and then i used these dollar,store chains to connect them to like,make it look spooky and stuff it,actually worked out and looked really,good for the fact that the whole thing,cost me like less than ten dollars,okay so i just put these up,you can kind of see the front,i'm gonna have two things on either side,and then like the graveyard behind it,and there's the witch's hats hanging,from i,bought from ross i'll show you guys,those in a minute when i paint them next,up we have this guy this is from walmart,um the story about how i got him is a,little embarrassing because i tried to,order him for pickup and on the app it,said that there was three in stock so i,knew that he was in the store somewhere,because it said that they were in stock,but then when i tried to order them from,pickup it wasn't in stock so or like,they said it wasn't in stock so i was,like i bet they're in there,so previously in the past i have walked,through the garden center and seen like,a ton of halloween boxes so i was like,let me just go back there and like see,if i see,one like laying around you know because,they've been like going through stuff,back there so then i found him he was,just like laying in the garden center,and i was like oh my god i need it so i,got him out of the garden center um,because i guess they hadn't gotten,around to putting him on the shelf yet,but i was like i know you're in there,but now he's mine so we're gonna put him,up,so the skeleton was a little tricky to,get standing obviously for only 28 bucks,she wasn't the most sturdy but by the,miracle of zip ties and patience i made,it happen even if for half of this clip,she looks like she's twerking in my face,anyway i used one of the extra stakes to,support her and then i also zip tied her,hand to one of the fence stakes that i,already had hammered in and it all,worked out in the end,i don't know why i ever get cute for,these videos because i end up out here,sweating in october like sweating,so he's standing i'm gonna use some of,the other,yard stakes the little steaks not gonna,work he's not like sturdy enough in his,joints so,i think,if i yardstake him up and then like,you won't really be able to tell i don't,know let's just let's just keep going,with it shall we,as always if you have any questions,about products make sure to check down,below i try to link things that i used,or at least something similar a lot of,my decor is sentimental from my parents,or just things i've collected over the,years so sometimes i can't link them but,i always try,he's standing he's up so i always get a,ton of questions on how i hook up all my,lights and how i do all of that so i,have an obscene number of power cords,and that is for a couple reasons one,because this is what i do every year and,two because my husband he's very handy,and he likes to fix things and do things,and so we just have a lot of that kind,of stuff just like i have a lot of,random screws and a lot of random wood,and a lot of random like zip ties and,like everything i need to like make,something happen or like pull it out of,my butt to make it happen one outlet so,i have one outlet on my porch and it is,connected to the same outlets that are,in my garage like on the i don't know i,don't know anything about power i just,know that i um trip the breaker every,year for every holiday so right now i'm,gonna go hook up the blow up that goes,on the other side of the yard it's just,a big pumpkin it kind of goes with the,vibe you know like we got pumpkins out,here it's fine,so the major diy decoration i'm making,for this video is for the graveyard i,really wanted like an entrance to my,graveyard so i made some pillars for,either side of the entrance for this,project you need two foam poster boards,and some styrofoam i bought my styrofoam,from lowe's and my poster board from,walmart,i started out by cutting each poster,board in half i didn't cut it all the,way through though so i could like fold,it and then i duct taped both of them,together to make the inside of the,pillar,it makes like this long square cylinder,type thing then i measured out a top and,bottom with a styrofoam,i used hot glue to secure the top and,bottom on to the square that i made,and then i also made a smaller square to,go on to the very top to make it look a,little more fancy i guess,and then on the very top of each one i,mounted a plastic pumpkin bucket that i,had spray-painted gray,then i taped up all of the edges with,duct tape as well as the bottom to make,sure it would hold up i mean after all,duct tape lasts forever,after building both of them i took them,outside to spray paint them again,love spray paint i sprayed them both,gray all over and then used some black,paint and a little brush to make the,edges a little more you know rustic,looking and give it some character i,don't know what i'm doing y'all i'm not,an artist okay but i just went with it,and cali even helped a little bit too,once the pillars were dry i moved them,out to my yard where they needed to be,they're pretty light obviously so i did,end up sitting some small gray bricks on,the back of them to hold them down,because if it gets the least bit windy,obviously they're going to blow away,since they're made of styrofoam but you,could probably put some yard stakes into,them too if you had some on hand i just,didn't have any i did have bricks i do,think they turned out really good and,they were actually pretty simple to make,except for styrofoam is kind of messy so,you know keep that in mind but overall,pretty easy diy and very inexpensive and,they turned out pretty good what do you,think,so i also ended up adding some spiderweb,i hate this kind of spiderweb so this is,the only place in the yard that has them,this year it never comes off of anything,and by the time i finally get around to,pulling it off of my bushes and stuff,actual spiders have made it their home,or it's christmas so it's not my,favorite but it needed something so,spiderweb it is anyway in the spirit of,making it spooky and stuff here it is,along with some giant spiders that i got,last year at walmart i do love these and,they creep me out i don't i don't know,why there's just something about spiders,y'all,i also had these gravestones that i,picked up from ross to paint i actually,was really surprised to find them there,and i bought both of the ones they had,because they were only like six dollars,and they're lighted so i'm really,excited about that honestly and so eric,and i each painted one and they turned,out really cute,so i still had some decor left over in,my boxes and if you know me you know i,had to use it this ghost was just like a,plain little hanging happy ghost but i,also had some extra spooky fabrics i,added to the top of him and now he looks,a little bit like a dementor but i'll,take it so you just gotta sometimes look,around reinvent some of the stuff you,have and make it into something new also,pay attention because in just a minute,you're gonna hear some random people,tell me that they like my decor which is,nice but i'm also filming in my front,yard so that's kind of awkward as if the,people in my neighborhood didn't think i,was a weirdo enough already here we are,thanks,so this witch is something that my mom,has had for like 15 years and i just,recently inherited her thanks mom i love,vintage halloween so this is perfect i,put her out on this tree even though,she's a small detail seeing my mom's,decor that i've had for years brings me,such joy honestly decor for me is more,about the memories and the sentiment,than actually being trendy like don't,get me wrong i love trendy decor but,there's something special about the,pieces that you've grown up with and,stuff you know like i just love that,for some final touches i added some bats,around the side of my garage because,it's freaking bath y'all and i love,halloween if you know you know,and i gave my skeleton friend this,killer sign from the dollar tree that,says trick or treat as well as a witch,hat that is zip tied under her head and,a cauldron bucket to hold there's,definitely no shortage of detail in this,one,you know my favorite thing about,halloween is aside from the fact that,it's one of the only holidays where it's,socially acceptable to walk around your,neighborhood with your kids drinking,beer and asking for free stuff,anyway i really love that it's like the,doorway to the best time of the year,like starting in october everything gets,so much more exciting,probably tiring too if you're a mom but,also way more fun it's just so like,magical and stuff you know i love making,holidays fun and shameless plug here i,share a lot of my easy and fun things to,do over on my tick tock on instagram so,if you aren't Halloween Decorating — Best Spooky, Fun & Simple Ideas

we thought it'd be fun this year to,decorate a house for Halloween we've,never done this before so we were up for,the challenge we had this beautiful big,front porch to work with and we talked,about the direction we wanted to go in,and of course we wanted to keep it,tasteful and house and home style so we,began by throwing a drop sheet on the,chairs over there,yeah easy because everybody has a,painter's cloth downstairs or a white,sheet in the house yeah we got that kind,of ghostly abandoned look it's very next,we thought it would be fun to bring out,some antiques and play with on the porch,so we had a look around it was available,in the garage old rug yeah the old rug,was amazing yes that rusty table which,is and of course the rest are the better,right yeah it's not for sitting children,the swaddle rack which is creepy on its,own sort of felt like a tied down spider,yep,found a great garden shovel and a pick,we decided to bring in small decorative,pieces to sort of set a mood because the,porch is so big we had an opportunity to,create these little sort of moments and,we wanted it to feel sort of like an,outside party right yeah like you might,be handing out candy yeah you may be you,know sitting in possibly I love that we,didn't do the big pumpkin plastic bowl,for candy we went really pretty on this,and we found the beautiful pedestal,bowls in the mat glass very nice yeah,and love the crows that we had perched a,little bit everywhere because are so,easy to find all that little stuff so,easy to find right,it's just readily available,it can be stored every year we stuck,with an overall theme of dark colors a,lot of mad blog which kept it really,classy but there was that one hit of,orange with a classic jack-o'-lantern,which I did not want to do this year,right but I still wanted a pumpkin I had,this idea in mind for a great DIY so I,got a pumpkin which I carved out and,then I used a hole saw bit which I got a,home hardware we drilled some holes,through the pumpkin and then I got some,toy store rats which I poked through the,holes and looks really gross I think,it's fun oh yeah,I look like their answer maybe oh yeah,great yes I also loved what you did with,the bakery door I thought that was,really fun yeah that was again a super,easy DIY with Toy Story snakes this time,and we got a twig wreath which is,available everywhere airing the season,and we glued the snakes just with some,hot glue right onto the reason spray the,whole thing matte black and there you go,holiday tree you can also use it as a,centerpiece on,and keeping with our creepy scene you,had a great idea on what to do with,those bones,we didn't construct the skeleton know,that you were supposed to do instead we,just left it in pieces and shoved it in,some great old iron pots yeah on the,porch so fun for a finishing touch I,wanted to frame the entrance and instead,of using those cobwebs which tend to get,stuck or everything yeah a messy we,decide to go with ghostly cheesecloth,yeah which is available everywhere like,home hardware but in white it was just a,little too stark so I dyed them in some,black tea and it looked great yeah,perfectly ready I didn't think Halloween,could look this good,I agree I know it it was really,successful I thought the color of the,porch is beautiful to start with yeah,which was really great and then we,played off kind of the muddy greens,blacks then the color also came in in,the candy mm-hmm right the little house,of candy well yeah I mean the orders for,sure for the pumpkin our hero and we,still had some totally creepy stuff,happening right you know you have to,have your hella we have have some fun,yeah and you're at dusk you're at sea,here at night so you might as well play,up yeah the creepy right your height as,well play up the dark and the candles,and all those sort of moments absolutely,yeah there were really big impactful,moments in what that crazy oh it's a,great it was great yeah really great and,not garish right I know it's easy to go,off track at Halloween and buy,everything you see with glitter and,crazy colors but it's important if you,want to keep it classy to stick to a,theme which is what we did,yeah we talked about that I mean the,house is Victorian yes so we kept it,sort of like creepy antique antiques,like American Gothic yeah very classy,creepy does that work it's a new genre

Turning my House into a HAUNTED HOUSE! DIY Halloween Decorations & Props

hey guys what's up it's Raven I'm,transforming my whole house into a,haunted house for Halloween I'm making a,bunch of DIY props and styling some,store-bought Decor to really set the,scene for this haunted house party that,I'm throwing later on in the month and,I'm decorating the outside of my house,so I can set the vibe for the,trick-or-treaters when they come on,Halloween night so if you want to see,how I pull everything together just keep,on watching,if you haven't seen part one definitely,go watch it I'll have it linked in the,description everything I show in that,video a haul of all types of decorations,and DIY supplies that I bought and just,kind of set the scene for what I'm,planning on doing so far I have made a,little bit of progress with setting up a,few of the store-bought decorations,around my house but I still have more,stuff to set up and a lot more DIYs to,make so that's what I'm going to show,you in this video,for these eyeballs that I also just got,from Walmart I got them to go in this,jar because I have like this little,setup going here but this needs,something spooky inside of it the,problem is the way that they're weighted,it like wants to be facing down which is,annoying I want you to be able to see,the iris okay the next thing I want to,go ahead and put into place are these,leading tapered candles I think I'm just,gonna put them and these candle holders,which are actually like real pieces of,Decor from my real house but they just,happen to go with the theme but in order,to give it the bleeding look I need to,light them and let them start melting a,little bit I also almost forgot that I,also have these candle holders that I,got from the Dollar Tree for a dollar 25,each so I put them in here for now,because I don't want to get red wax,dripping on my nice candlestick holders,over there I'm letting them melt in the,Dollar Tree ones for now you can see,that it's white on the outside but red,on the inside so when it drips it gives,it a drippy blood effect very vampire so,I'm gonna just like let these drip for a,little bit so it can have that used,drippy look and then I'll just like set,them out for decor and I probably will,never ever light them again okay so here,is my jar of eyeballs I had to really,like shove them in there so I'm wearing,even use a little piece of tape to like,arrange them how I wanted them and then,here are my bloody candles after letting,them melt for a little bit nice little,spooky display deciding what I'm gonna,do with that in the meanwhile I got this,pack of fake wooden boards from Walmart,for like three or four dollars and I,want to board up a window of my door I,think putting it on the outside I wish,they were double-sided they really,dropped the ball with that one because,then it could show from both sides of,the glass but I think putting it on the,outside makes the most sense you know,because if you were boarding up some,windows you would do it from the outside,so let's see I mean it doesn't really,make a lot of sense because it's like,what are you boarding up what are you,doing in reality what would be the,meaning of this but I think it looks,spooky a little boarded up window moment,you know then I have this which is also,from Walmart I was gonna like put a,little command hook and hang this maybe,on the outside I don't really have,another good place because it's a,welcome sign so you want to be welcomed,into the home but I don't really have,like another good place to hang it,besides the front door I don't want to,hang it outside the front door I'm gonna,take some of this,this is from Walmart they also had it at,Target and like everywhere else,creepy drape for this lamp I slightly,rearranged this stuff I'm gonna end up,draping a bunch of this stuff everywhere,I still want my house to be functional,in the meantime so I'm not putting up,too many things just yet I'm gonna put,up more decorations like just for the,party but there are a few things that I,can definitely do right now I really,want to switch these out for just like,some black sticks like if I could find,some dead branches and spray paint them,black and just have some little tall,branches coming out of here that would,be perfect I don't have trees so I don't,have any dead branches in my own yard I,even tried to just like buy some fake,ones in the store I couldn't find what I,was looking for I'll keep looking but I,really want to put some different like,Dead spookier haunted like this is,looking too normal so I need to replace,these and I don't really tie this whole,little vignette together then we have,this other vignette over here I moved,these two objects over here because I,felt like I needed to like spread out my,crops around the house so I think I'm,going to end up using these over here,okay I have these gold candle holders,that again are just normal regular,everyday home decor that I already had,and these regular candlesticks but I,think they do really go with the spooky,Vibe actually okay we're getting,somewhere it's it's giving vampires okay,so I have an extra empty one of these,like little cookie jars from my pantry,and I saw something kind of like this on,Pinterest and I've gotten all these like,skulls and stuff from the Dollar Tree I,don't have any little like a bunch of,small skulls would be good for this it,looks like he's like in distress I can,even put like some yucky looking water,in it to make it really look like a,specimen jar,foreign,I really want to dive into the DIYs,today and try to knock out as much of,that as I can but first I still have not,made or sent out official invitations,for this party and it is October 6th I,like to send out invitations with plenty,of time you know in advance because I,have friends who come from out of town,they need to make travel plans and,babysitting plans and all types of plans,so if I want people to be able to show,up I've got to give them a good heads up,so I really need to send all these,invitations like today I haven't even,started on them the past two years for,my Halloween party I've used Cameo to,hire certain people to make like little,videos to go with the digital,invitations first year was the 2000s,party so I had Soulja Boy second year it,was a movie themed Hollywood party so I,had Kel from Keenan and Kel this year,it's a haunted house theme so I looked,on Cameo to see if there was any like I,don't know actors who have played,vampires or something that would go with,the Haunted House theme I'm not really,finding anything so I don't think I'm,gonna be doing the celebrity invite this,year here just because it doesn't really,like go with the themes like in anything,I would want somebody to be like dressed,up like a vampire dressed up like a,zombie or something and make a little,video but like I don't know I just feel,like that's not really the mood this,year so what I am thinking though is I,can record my voice and then I can go in,on the editing software and change my,voice to sound like a monster voice I,want to try it and then I can use that,as like for the invitation video you're,invited to Raven's haunted house party,and then if I put a voice effect on it,your body to read this haunted house,party,funny I think I might use that I think I,might use it I'm gonna like say all the,information for the party and like make,a little video and a little graphic on,canva to go with it I always use canva,to make custom graphics and invitations,and stuff and then I use Evite as like,the actual link where you click through,and rsvpd and say how many people are,coming with you so I can keep track of,like how many people Evite is really,good to like keep the guest list,organized and keep track of who's coming,but I always like to make a special,little video or graphic just to make it,cool so let me do that and I'm gonna,show you okay I just finished the,recording I downloaded like spooky scary,background noises and stuff look listen,to it I'm very proud of this,foreign,ERS unless of course you don't want them,anymore,oh I am so proud of myself I just put,that together in like 20 minutes the all,the Talking part is my voice with you,know the voice change the little boo and,the laugh I actually found that like,downloaded it and it just so happened to,like sound the same as my voice so it,all goes together then I added like,thunder and lightning scary ambient,noise the little witches cackle the,children screaming because I was like,ladies bring your witches get it fellas,bring your foes witches and foes you get,it I said no little trick-or-treaters no,kids this is an adult party unless of,course you don't want your kids anymore,because the scary monsters can eat them,for you you get it okay so now I've,gotta make like the graphic that goes,with it and that will be like playing in,the background so canva has a bunch of,if you just do an invitation template,and then you search on their template,for whatever you want whether it be,beach pool Halloween haunted house,vampire they have a lot of like pre-made,things where you could just go in and,change the text to whatever you needed,to say boom there you go I tend to like,to customize it so I might take details,from a few of these different ones on,here and then kind of mix and match and,combine them together and add my own,little custom details to just make it my,own so I definitely want like the,haunted house element in the background,I think I might change this font here,because it's not as you know scary it,looks a little bit more childish so I,might take a font off of this other one,and maybe take some of these other,details and like drag it onto this one,just to kind of combine it same thing,with this one and then kind of change,the colors so let's see what I come up,with okay I just finished the invitation,video I'm gonna play it for you now,I regret to inform you that you are,officially invited to Raven's haunted,house party put together your creepiest,costume and join us if you dare for a,scary good time ladies bring your,witches fellas bring your foes this,Gathering will have plenty of booze so,please no little trick-or-treaters,unless of course you don't want them,anymore,so now I'm going to send that video out,to all of my guests along with the,Pinterest link to this board that I,created with costume ideas I want,everybody to dress up in you know scary,spooky type costumes to go with the,theme I mean they can wear whatever they,want honestly but I think it would be,cool if everybody specifically chose,more spookier type costumes so I put,together a Pinterest board of all these,different costume ideas for guys girls,singles couples some that are just like,quick easy DIYs some that are more,detailed some that are like not as scary,for people who are not into that but,like still go with the theme I just,wanted people to have options so I'm,actually going to make sure that I check,and see if there's like any more ideas,that I want to add all right so for the,giant candlesticks these are the basic,materials and so this is going to be the,tray I'm doing too,okay so now I'm just going to trim and,arrange these as needed to be the,candles on the tray I'm just going to,attach them with hot glue,so this is the general idea a bunch of,giant candles on a tray now to make them,look like they've been melted I'm going,to use hot glue to add the drippy,texture I also have a caulking gun left,over from our previous project that can,give that goopy look and I thought it,might be better to use some of this,instead of trying to use so much hot,glue,so I have all of my hot glue drips,really thick drips going around the rim,and then some drips dripping all the way,down on all of them and then the,caulking going around the edge of this,one I ran out of coffee to get some more,to finish this one that's kind of the,main idea to make it look drippy and,used and waxy and creepy I'm gonna paint,the whole thing black like the plate,everything black but I just wanted to,show you to make it look like it's a,real candle Dollar Tree has these little,LED tea lights but they also have the,stick version and most people use these,and just kind of like sit them on top,but that doesn't look very realistic to,me because it's like you've got this,whole little circle part just like,poking out and the hole on the inside of,the noodle is not big enough to shove it,in there but these ones fit in there so,so they make it look like The Candle is,lit now obviously this is too tall for,like these little short ones can't use,that so I'm just kind of experimenting,with how I can like the light up part,honestly I don't need every single,candle to be lit to give the effect some,of the candles can just be not lit,honestly you can do this and just have,it as a decoration without any of them,being lit because they're just like,melted used candles they don't have to,necessarily be lit those are kind of,like two options to make them light up,you could of course put real candles in,there as well and light them but that's,definitely a fire hazard this is plastic,the hot glue is going to melt I would,not recommend that unless you're just,gonna do it quickly for like a picture,or something but definitely something,like this,foreign,or whatever I had an idea or I kind of,saw it on Pinterest I may not lie I,thought if I take these plastic skulls,and these plastic bowls maybe I could,make a little thingy like the thing,you're seeing on the screen now,oh,okay for the top this bowl actually fits,on the head like a little hat or like,you know the little lace veil and then,that helps me balance the top one on it,okay,slay so you can see like this is more,balanced with the bottom one so it's,overall more balanced purr,once again paint the whole thing black,okay so Zaya helped me add some arousal,Dazzle to the border of the plate some,spiders and gems just for some fun so,here's pretty much the finished product,and the other matching one over here and,then like I said I will figure out how I,want to make them light up depending on,which Dollar Tree lights I want to use,and stuff like that or I might just not,have them light up because I mean,they're cute as is I have them here on,the table for now and then I also,included my little candle holder I put a,candle in there turned out pretty cool,if I do say so myself it's very,lightweight plastic from the Dollar Tree,but it looks like a real thing so I just,put all that together as like a big long,tablescape for now now for my next,project I'm gonna make these paper bats,I bought some glitter cardstock paper,this chunkier glitter that's like really,reflective this finer glitter that's,also so pretty reflective but just in a,different way then I also have just,plain black cardstock paper and I'm,going to use my handy dandy Cricut to,cut out the shapes for me the first time,I did this I did not have my own Cricut,Machine and I just drew the shape and,cut it out with scissors which is,totally doable but I want to make a lot,of these so the Cricut cutting them for,me is really going to come in handy so,on the Cricut software I just searched,bat they have tons of stuff you can use,just already on here and there's like,different little versions so I'm,actually going to do like a few,different ones just to have variety and,see how many I can cut out with like a,few sheets of paper so here's all my,little bat shapes I'm doing slightly,different sizing as well because I just,want like a variety okay first test cut,cute it's so cute I'm gonna make a whole,bunch of these okay so I'm gonna get,started with some of these glitter bats,that I cut out I'm still gonna cut out,more and just do some with regular paper,but I'm gonna start with these I have,these little sticky glue dots they're,like balloon dots double-sided sticky,things you can also use double sided,tape whatever is not going to damage the,surface and I want to make it look like,the bats are like flying out of the,fireplace and like maybe circling around,the TV or something so I'm gonna start,like placing a few,so we've got some going on just plain,black cardstock paper different sizes,different styles this is working really,well the only thing that did not work,was this thicker chunkier glitter paper,I could have probably made it work but I,just messed it up and now that I messed,up the paper like I'm just kind of over,it so I'm just not gonna use this paper,for this just sticking to the thinner,finer glitter which worked out really,well and then the plain so I'm just,putting one little sticky dot on the,back of each one it's just paper so it,doesn't need anything crazy and I want,it to be easy to take off later as well,foreign,here are my bats flying out of my,fireplace I think you turned out super,cute this little thing with it some of,them are glittery some of them are not,cute I'm doing the burning bones to go,in the fire pit because I'm using the,lid to the fire pit to trace out the,sides we like the pile to fit inside the,fire pit,thank you,okay now this is dry I'm going in with,some red first,then black,okay now that the paint is dry I'm gonna,cut it out it's stuck to the cardboard,so I need to cut it out I can't like,peel it off,foreign,nervous that the lights are not going to,show through oh my God it looks perfect,I was not expecting it to look that good,it actually looks like what it's,supposed to look like that's so cool and,it's gonna be dimly lit it's gonna be a,nighttime party so it'll be like dark,around it which will make it look even,better I love that that's so cool,God okay cool,okay so here is what this big spider web,is looking like over my front door I,only had to use a few Hooks and I,actually ended up sticking really well,so that worked out I was struggling with,it I think it was last year I tried to,do this and I couldn't figure out what,would stick to this textured wall but I,found a certain type of adhesive that,works put some different spiders in,there I took the light bulb out of that,main light right there because I want to,see if I can get like a spooky light,bulb to replace it with so we'll see,about that so I found these red light,bulbs at Home Depot I got two of them,let's see if they work okay obviously,it's middle of the day but I think it'll,look really spooky at night we'll have,to test it out and then I got a second,one for this lamp on the console table,just to you know add some Ambience to,this overall spooky setup okay so I want,to give y'all a tour of what all the,decorations are looking like as of now,so I have my Cemetery with some zombie,hands poke it out of some of the graves,these ones are glow in the dark so I,have these here a little skull fence,going across the cemetery then we have,the bones family the skeleton family,this is supposed to represent me bougie,and Zaya I have a hula hoop I was,standing up at first but I kept falling,over so I'm sitting down now and Zaya is,riding the tricycle I use zip ties to,hold it in place so it wouldn't like,blow over in the wind and then the next,thing you see is the front gate which I,added some Razzle Dazzle to the top I,added these fats which are with magnets,and then I added this little chain to,make it look like it's like locked up,and spooky then you see these signs and,the plants I have my lanterns which have,strobe lights inside the lanterns which,I can turn on at night to make a cool,lighting effect and then I have these,little black pumpkins I left the,lanterns dirty and dusty just how they,work because I feel like dirty and dusty,looks more haunted normally I would,clean them before I put them out I feel,like the dirt works so we're gonna leave,it dirty I put up The Spar webbing here,with all different types of spiders I,have my little fake wooden boards on the,glass and then I added these little,spooky light bulbs which I might change,that because it doesn't make a whole lot,of sense it's like why do you have light,bulbs hanging on your door like what is,the meaning but they are sound activated,so they will make that sound and flicker,the light whenever activated by sound so,any loud sound will make it do that as,well as my little sound activated,tarantula that I hung above the door,it's also sound activated but it takes,like you have to clap your hands or yell,really loud or slam the door or,something to activate both of those,things,so it just falls down it doesn't fall,down that much but it's enough for you,to notice and maybe be creeped out a,little bit I didn't want it to fall too,low and like smack somebody in the head,or anything and then it just winds,itself back up it takes a while to wind,up I wish it the string was longer and I,wish it wound itself back up faster but,hey we all work with what we got and,then the last thing that I added here is,the red light bulb which looks really,spooky at night it just makes this whole,area have that red spooky lighting to it,and then mixed in with the strobe lights,here it gives a nice spooky effect I'll,show you guys that on the night of the,party then we have this little setup,here with the blood splatter I added,some spider webbing to the top of the,mirror and some little spiders I have,gray spooky fabric here I ended up kind,of switching that out because I thought,it contrasted better candlesticks spider,these little things a little spooky bowl,with some eyeballs and a rat then we,have the stairs I added some of the,black tattered fabric to the stair,railing I still want to add more stuff,to the stair railing like more spider,webs and stuff but it's kind of,Impractical to have it up for everyday,use because people obviously need to,like use the stair railing and it'll,just get messed up so I'm gonna put more,stuff on there for the actual night of,the party and then we have this table,which has spider webs the tattered,fabric some bugs a bird skeleton I ended,up putting this little sign here welcome,to the afterlife spider webs on this,spot with some spiders then on this,painting I added spider webs on top,spiders I was trying to put spiderwebs,on all of the like tops of everything,because I feel like realistically that's,where it would be then walking into the,living room I have my spider web table,runner on the coffee table which is from,Amazon a little spider a little skull I,attached This Bat to the fan and so the,bat is like flying in the middle of the,living room I think this looks really,cute and from this perspective when,you're sitting on the couch watching TV,This Bat kind of like goes in line with,these bats which is kind of a cool,effect then we have some tattered fabric,here some more spiderweb and spiders,here on the top of this painting I,definitely plan on adding a lot more,stuff to this glass here but that's,going to be more so like just for the,night of the party so I'm waiting on,that I added spider webs to these lights,and then over here on the dining table I,added the tattered fabric to all of the,chairs just because I had a lot of it,left over added a black table runner I,have my DIY jumbo candlesticks here with,this beautiful border that ziya put on,here and then I added some extra bugs,and I have my little Dollar Tree,candlesticks that will make it light up,and then my Dollar Tree skull candle,holder Tower thing and there is spider,webbing all over this life texture as,well with a big fuzzy spider hanging,down and then there's a few little,Easter eggs elsewhere I added this guy,popping out of this plant I added this,spider on the fruit basket I have this,little like specimen jar which I think I,want to like put like green water in,here and maybe put some little eyeballs,in here and just make it extra spooky,and maybe make a few more of them,because I have some more extra glass,jars like this oh I do have a few extra,little random things I had these things,which I just hung on my office door,because I didn't know where else to put,them right now and then I have these,ones in this bathroom which I have more,that I want to add in here like more of,those types of things and then I was,playing around with this other set of,stickers which I figured out do not look,very realistic on glass like on a mirror,or on a window it shows the Border a lot,so it doesn't look realistic but it,looks a lot more realistic on something,like this like a solid color thing like,not clear glass so I just ended up,putting that one there so I have a whole,pack of these that I'm gonna put all,over the house but I don't want to put,them now because that's more like,actually scary and realistic and just,for the party I don't want to have it up,all the time and like freak ziya out but,for now I put them in here where she,doesn't ever come in here so it's fine,okay so I'm working on the wine bottle,candle DIY my mom gave me these wine,bottles and if they're like different,colors or if they're just clear to make,them look more spooky you could just,spray paint them black I don't think I'm,gonna end up needing these extra ones,I'm just gonna use these darker tinted,ones and I think I'm just gonna leave,them how they are I don't feel like I,need to spray paint them but I am just,removing the labels this one I already,removed and I'm just using the blow,dryer technique so put your blow dryer,on high heat and it'll melt the adhesive,behind the sticker so you can peel it,off really clean,and then just get something to get it,going on the corner if it's not coming,up clean you need to put more Heat,usually I can get it off in one piece,this one was being a little difficult,but you can just heat up these extra,spots and scrape them off I also have,these smaller olive oil bottles which,have the labels printed directly on the,glass there's probably a way that I,could get that off maybe with like,acetone or something but I think I am,going to go ahead and just spray paint,these black to just cover that up easier,remember,then I'm just going to place the bottles,on a baking sheet with some wax paper,this is so that when I let the wax melt,it can fall onto here and then I'm,taking these red unscented candles from,the Dollar Tree you get two for a dollar,25 I thought red would look nice and,spooky they're unscented so it won't be,like overwhelming when I light these,oh,okay so what I've learned from this DIY,after letting the candles melt for a,couple hours is that if you want a lot,of wax build up on the bottle you're,gonna have to melt like a whole first,candle just to get the wax buildup then,put a second candle for the actual,candle because just from this one candle,melting halfway it didn't give that much,drippage but I don't have any more,candles maybe I'll go back and get more,candles to make it more drippy but this,is the effect you're gonna get just from,one candle I think they still look cool,they still look spooky and when their,mixed into everything else it'll look,fine but just a little heads up it takes,a lot of candles to get that much wax,buildup it is October 10th and so there,are still 19 days until my Halloween,party and then a couple of more days,after that until actual Halloween when,the trick-or-treaters and stuff come so,we still have quite a while so that's,why why I keep saying like there's,certain things I don't want to put up,just yet because in the meantime you,know ziya still has to live in this,house and not be scared of her own house,I still have people coming in and out of,my house that like I don't want to freak,them out and I don't want them to be,like what the hell so I'm saving a lot,of stuff just for the night of the party,and I'm just kind of like you know,trickling it out you know in the,meantime oh there's one other thing that,I didn't show you guys well I guess I,did show you guys earlier but my little,fire pit burning bones I ended up,putting it right there on the coffee,table because I think I am going to,incorporate the patio as part of the,like party area and then I still have,all of this DIY supply of mess left out,because I'm still working on more DIYs I,have a few main DIYs that I still want,to do I really want to do this DIY which,is a life-size spooky grandfather clock,wish me luck but I've started to collect,materials and recycle boxes and stuff,for that it's like all made out of like,cardboard and styrofoam and just,recycled materials so we'll see and then,I want to do this DIY which uses,balloons and a white yarn and a little,plastic spider so I have all the stuff,for that as well to make the spider egg,nests whatever you call it and then the,last main one that I want to do is this,DIY where you take a bunch of recycled,materials and you wrap it in black trash,bags with duct tape to make it look like,it's a dead body wrapped up but that one,I'm definitely saving only for the night,of the party because I can't be having a,dead body prop just lying around my,house in the meantime till then like I,do not want anybody to call the police,to my house and then other than that I,just still have a lot more of this,spider webbing stuff and little plastic,spiders that I can just kind of put like,I said I want to put some on the stairs,up on the balcony just hang it from,everywhere and then that'll pretty much,be the finished look hopefully I can get,all that stuff done just you know for,the party at least so yeah definitely,stay tuned for my next few Vlogs I'm,going to be showing everything about me,and ziya's costumes I'm doing a vampire,costume and very princess costume and,then of course I'm going to show you,like the rest of the DIYs and how,everything else turns out with the,decorations and then I still have to,show you everything for the actual party,as far as the Halloween themed food and,drinks and everything so I'm gonna thank you,hello everyone what is up and welcome,back to my channel if you are new here,hi my name is Katie I live in Orlando,and I make all shopping and Shop with me,home decor and DIY Home Decorating,content and this is my first ever,Halloween decorate with me I have never,really decorated for Halloween before so,yesterday I did a massive Halloween,decor haul showing everything I bought,to transform our home inside and outside,for Halloween in today's video you're,going to be getting indoor and outdoor,decorating tips and some really fun DIYs,that are super easy and affordable without further Ado let's,get into my 2022 how Halloween decorate,with me while I am so excited to be,decorating for Halloween I was a little,sad to be taking down my fall Decor,because I just really love how it came,out if you missed that video I will have,it linked down below I did a cozy fall,decorating with me for my Halloween,decor I kind of wanted it to be similar,to my fall Decor but just with a more,spooky twist you are going to notice in,this video there are a ton of easy,decorating ideas and I did keep things,pretty simple I wanted to first start,off with my TV stand this is such a,focal point in our living room that I,knew I wanted to start here I started,off by just emptying everything that was,there which includes this sound bar if,you have any ideas on how to make that,sound bar more aesthetic definitely let,me know down in the comments below but,here I'm using some like drop cloth that,is spooky kind of like mesh cloth from,Joanne's originally I bought this for,another space but I realized that it was,like 25 feet long so I decided to just,cut it and then get the most use out of,it so I kind of just started stretching,it over this piece which I feel like,Honestly made such a big difference I,really really love how this came out and,it's such an easy way to transform a,piece of furniture you can find this,cloth at so many different stores just,don't do what I did don't sit there and,like nitpick over the draping of it it's,going to fall and evolve naturally you,just gotta let it happen,thank you,thank you,if you have seen any of my other,decorating videos you know the classic,Katie method is just bring everything,over and do a ton of trial and error I,honestly was wanting to kind of keep,similar Decor pieces that I had in my,fall decorating but just get the,Halloween versions of them and pro tip,right here that somebody else gave me in,my last video if you don't want your,Candlestick to move around just kind of,melt it a little bit and then stick it,down on in there and it will not move,again such a good tip that somebody,taught me so I wanted to pass it on to,you guys but like I was saying I kind of,wanted to keep similar pieces to what I,had so before I had like a plant a,candle and some candelabras and I kind,of wanted to keep that same theme going,because I really like the way that that,stack looked but I just changed it into,a Halloween stack you'll see that again,here I changed out the fall elements and,put in some Halloween ones by adding a,black pumpkin and this tiny little,plastic skull that I got for like a,dollar from Michael's and then also just,changing out the stem that I had in here,from like that beautiful cognac leather,colored stem into some more Halloween,focused colors,I was really excited to change over my,couch from Fall to Halloween because I,feel like the pillows that Brian and I,picked out already go really well with,the pillows that we have in the room and,just really well with the overall color,palette that I already have in here the,fall pillows I just never felt 100 about,them like that orange pumpkin pillow I,love it so much but I feel like next,year I'll definitely use it up in the,loft where I'm going to be decorating,with a little bit more color than what,we have down here in our main living,space but I do love these Halloween,pillows so so much all of them are from,Target and they are all Linked In My,Halloween decor haul that I posted,yesterday,if decorating is overwhelming to you but,you want to decorate my biggest piece of,advice is to think of the pieces you,already have in your space and just look,for the seasonal equivalent to them you,do not need to reinvent the wheel for,every single holiday I know with social,media it can make you think that you,need to build these incredible pumpkin,arches outside of your house and make,these crazy hard difficult DIYs and you,definitely do not need to do that to,create a space that feels really festive,and seasonal like I did here,I got this awesome almost like faux,leather spiderweb table runner from the,threshold collection at Target I did a,whole video on that collection and so,many of the items I picked up for my,decorate with me were from that,collection so if you didn't check it out,you definitely should if you're still,looking for Halloween decor here I kind,of did the same thing as before just,adding in more seasonally appropriate,accents to transform this space super,easily I took out these two fall pillows,and added in one of my neutral fall,pillows just so that I could keep it in,the space and then also this skeleton,pillow that has a skeleton with some,kind of like florally accents on it it,was super nice Brian picked it out so,kudos to him,foreign,the other way I Incorporated Halloween,into the kitchen was by adding this,coffin-shaped cutting board right behind,our Stove Top and changing out my fall,towels on my oven to these really,adorable bat ones that I picked up from,Joann's they have been my favorite place,to get kitchen towels I also got my fall,ones from there and those are the other,two really simple changes that I made,foreign,ghost I did see this on Tick Tock and I,was like okay that is simple enough,we're gonna do it you will only need a,tomato trellis a little Styrofoam ball a,white sheet a pack of Christmas lights,with a white strand a piece of black,felt and a glue gun and that is all you,need I started off by just taping the,top of the tomato trellis together just,to kind of keep it all formed you could,also use a hair elastic but I just,decided to use a piece of tape because,it's what I had on hand then you're,going to just shove the Styrofoam ball,onto the top it's actually going to be,the ghost's head and kind of what the,sheet drapes over to give it the round,ghost appearance so just shove that on,there as hard as you can but careful not,to crack it in half then you are going,to take your Christmas lights or your,white strand of Lights I picked mine up,at Joann's I didn't have any that had a,white Strand and I just got like a,little mini Strand and you're just going,to kind of weave it all all around the,tomato trellis on the inside and the,outside there's really no Rhyme or,Reason for it then all you have to do is,take your sheet I didn't have an old,white sheet but if you did then that,would make this DIY even more affordable,than it already is you just drape that,over the top and then you just glue on,your little felt eyes that I just cut,out these little ovals you could also,add a mouth if you want I just decided,just to do the eyes and that is really,all there is to it I decided to put it,over in the corner this is most likely,where our Christmas tree is going to go,so I was kind of prototyping that hole,ordeal go ahead and plug it in and it's,ready to go we named ours Harold feel,free to let me know if you're gonna make,one as well or if you already have one,and what yours has for a name but yeah,this is Harold our little friendly,Corner ghost and we love him,up next is decorating the entryway,before we head outside I am super,excited to show you all of the outdoor,Halloween decorations that we put up but,I needed to get this space done this is,the first space you see when you walk in,the door and it's actually the last time,you will be seeing my entryway decorated,without it being a full dining room,makeover we are hoping to transform our,dining room and get it fully furnished,in the next month or so since we moved,in the goal was to have it done before,the holidays so we're really getting,into the crunch time now but I'm really,excited to have the space fully,transformed and ready to go for the,holidays as well as my baby shower but,as far as Halloween decor goes on this,space again the theme keeping it super,simple here changing out the fall,elements to more like Halloween elements,changing out the bowl filler to skull,Bowl filler a pumpkin to a skeleton bone,pumpkin and then changing out the,candles to these really fun Halloween,candles they're like the bleeding eye,skull candle as well as a spine and then,I also changed out the flowers to more,like deep red and black rose Florals,foreign,I decorated our front porch really,lightly for fall knowing that I was,going all out for Halloween but here is,a little bit of a before like I said,super light didn't really go crazy out,here so first things first need to kind,of clear everything off I always like to,start with a clean slate so just taking,off all of the Fall pieces that we will,be changing out for more Halloween,focused accents,oh,foreign,probably the most labor-intensive,outdoor Halloween decor we did was,hanging this almost spiderweb drapery,that we picked up from Target we did end,up buying four of these and what we did,was kind of attach hooks to the ceiling,of our front porch and then there are,like little loops on each corner of the,piece of fabric and we just attached it,to that so we just repeated that process,all four times and then we did also tie,each one together which you may see at,the end we just kind of like attached,each one so that they stayed together,like Brian just did right there we,actually had originally only bought,three so you see me hang the three but,just know that we did go back and pick,up a fourth one because as you can see,we definitely needed it this wasn't like,super hard to do but it really added,such a creepy spooky feel to our front,porch which is exactly what we were,going for like inviting creepy but,spooky,foreign,these poseable skeletons are so fun and,they also glow in the dark so really,excited to show you that little feature,about them I got these from Target they,had glow in the dark they had a bunch of,different varieties of posable skeletons,and in my haul I joke that one was me,and one was Brian so we each posed our,own and we had to also pick up a,skeleton dog because if you didn't know,we have three dogs that we love so much,so when I saw this at Target I knew I,also needed to pick it up this planter,cauldron was one of my favorite things I,bought this year it is also from Target,everything basically is from Target and,I ended up buying it online because I,couldn't find it in the stores I did,decide to put a mum inside and then just,decorated this basket that was already,on the table with a few little dollar,spot signs and this book stack that I,picked up from Kirkland's I think I,might have forgot to include that in my,haul so if you're wondering where it's,from that little like resin book stack,is from Kirkland's and I absolutely love,it it just goes so well with the colors,out here I was really impressed with all,the decor that they had at the store I,feel like so many of the items are items,that will just last for years and years,which is a big quality that I look for,when I'm shopping for Decor I always,call it the cost per use like how much,use and years will you get out of each,piece to me it kind of defines whether,or not if it's worth the price of course,every single person has a different,budget and a different set of Standards,but if you're wondering how I go about,purchasing my fines that is the mindset,I go into it with speaking of mindset,with pregnancy brain I almost forgot to,put this drop cloth onto this coffee,table if you remember I put the other,half on my TV stand this was where I,originally wanted to put it so I'm glad,that I did remember to go out and throw,that back on a lot of the finishing,touches included little candles like,this I did decide to splurge a little,bit more I know you can find cheaper,ones than these ones that I bought at,Target on these flameless candles but I,really loved the battery with being,pregnant honestly bending over is more,difficult these days so the battery,operated little remote that it came with,was a huge draw for me and they're,really good quality candles I will let,you know if they hold up I'm definitely,planning to use them for future,Christmas decor and everything so if,they end up not working for me I will,definitely be sure to let you know that,way you don't spend your money on them,for me nothing says outdoor Halloween,decor more than these like faux spider,webs on your bushes and we have so many,bushes all along our house we bought a,couple different packs but the packs,from the target dollar spot were,actually my favorite they go really,really far and they're just as good as,the ones from anywhere else and they,were only a dollar moving on to our,Cemetery we got some of the Tombstones,from Target some from Walmart and I'm,here to report that there is absolutely,no difference between the two of them,and if I was you I would buy them at,Walmart because they were a little bit,cheaper these are super easy you just,kind of stick the steaks into the bottom,and then stick them into your grass we,do have landscapers that come every,single Monday we're in Florida and our,Grass Grows extremely fast all year,round so we will have to take these up,every single week but how fun and,detailed are these little tombstones we,were super impressed with all the,details and had such a fun time,arranging them we did also buy this,little fence to go around them we are,going to be putting more fence so that,it's like fully enclosed but we got,these two front sets for now those are,from Target we set a teal pumpkin for,kids with allergies and then stuck our,little skeleton groundbreaker right onto,the other side of our front lawn here is,how it looks overall with all of the,decorations we just love how it came out,we didn't do anything too crazy as I,said it will definitely grow over the,years but this is what it looks like,during the day,and I didn't want to leave you hanging,here is what we have going on at night,so we did put Jack Skellington on our,garage then on the front table we put,this rotating ton of different like,Halloween pictures up close I love how,you can see all the different pictures,like there was a tree and then here's a,skeleton and from far away it just looks,like really fun like colorful lights,that I feel like add a lot to our front,porch and on the side of the house we,put this happy Halloween whirl emotion,and I feel like it's the perfect fit,well alrighty everyone there Halloween Home Tour - Christopher Hiedeman's Fall & Halloween Decorating - Historic House Tour

so i had an absolute blast decorating,for fall and halloween this year but for,some reason it just seemed like this,fall season went by so fast and already,it's time for the halloween home tour as,i did in last year's halloween home tour,video i did decide to dress up a little,for this one as well and so i found this,really cool haunted house sweater,there's so much fun fall and halloween,decorating around the house that i can't,wait to show you as well as a few things,that i've changed around the house since,last year's tour so let's get started,so first we'll begin the tour outside,in the very front planters i added a few,mums and fall decorations to dress them,up,and on the porch i used more fall mums,along with a few straw bales pumpkins,some gourds and other halloween,decorations like ghosts jack lanterns,and these fun metal black cats,then i'll just show you a quick look at,the backyard,the fall colors are just beginning,around our home,on the other side of the house is our,garage,i had a blast decorating for fall and,halloween over here,and over here is the back porch,decorated with a few fun items including,this halloween doorbell,now it's time to head inside,so this is the entryway,i did finally purchase a posable,skeleton and i have to say i've had an,absolute blast decorating with it,so right when you walk in i have this,haunted house entry rug and i do have a,video showing how it was made on my,channel that you can check out if you,like,on the front door i made a spider web,design out of black window cling film i,just cut the film into strips and,applied it to the glass and then added a,few paper spider cut outs,this vintage desk is one of my recent,antique shop vines i just love the,details,on top of it i have a spooky candle i,painted along with a spider i drew and,of course my vintage inspired owl,lantern which is again another tutorial,video you can find on my channel,right above the desk is this neat witch,decoration i found at a small shop,and then over here is an adorable cat,halloween sign i purchased just a few,years ago at target,fluttering up the walls of the staircase,are all these little bats i did apply,dots of fluorescent paint to give them,eyes that will glow to the black lights,at night,and coming down the steps are these fun,decorative pumpkins that i got from,balsam hill they are especially cool at,night which i will show you later in the,video,last year i decorated the railing with,spiderweb but this year i thought it'd,be fun to go for more of a fall look,with these dollar tree leaf garlands i,also added these spider lights that i,found at goodwill too,and this is how i decorated across from,the staircase,i set out these witches shoes that my,grandma and i found at a garage sale and,up here i decorated the hooks with more,vintage inspired lanterns i made,including this ghost and this pumpkin,that little pumpkin was actually the,inspiration for this big one which i,made in a video that is on my channel as,well,i also made a velvet pumpkin tutorial,video this year too so make sure to save,and dry your pumpkin stems because they,are so much fun for craft projects,across the entry table i have an,adorable little crow i found at target,along with a vintage postcard box and an,antique key holder,and then in the pumpkin i have some,rustic branches with some string lights,with dipped bulbs,through here is the fireplace room,i decided to go with a witch style theme,in this room with potion bottles and the,spooky cauldron that i made by placing,an led black light and projector light,inside with shredded white tulle fabric,at the top,resting under the cauldron is a,grapevine wreath with flicker flame,string lights inside it,i placed a few thrift store items that,fit the theme next to the cauldron as,well along with these spooky spell books,i made in a tutorial video,these are so much fun to make so if you,haven't seen that video yet feel free to,check it out,this witch globe over here is pretty,neat when it's lit up which i'll show,you later in the video,i found so many fun light up jack,lanterns at goodwill this year they're,one of those decorations i feel like you,can never have enough of,and here's a palmistry book that we got,from tim's gram,so lining the window ledge are all my,spooky plants that i made along with,some vintage flower frogs and a toad,decoration i made some eerie curtains,out of dollar tree plastic tablecloths,by roughly cutting strips three quarters,of the way to the top then i hung them,up with painter's tape and pruned the,ends to the lengths i wanted and added a,fan behind the door to give them an,eerie movement,on the other side of the room is the,fireplace area,i decorated the mantel with an,assortment of halloween items including,this cool haunted house i found at,goodwill and this pumpkin decoration,that i made,i found this neat lighted garland to,hang across the mantle on amazon and,inside the fireplace i have some spooky,hand paper cutouts that are illuminated,with the black light,and the spiders are enjoying spinning,their webs on the spinning wheel,and then up here is the ghost i painted,i made him in a similar style to the,lantern in the front hall,and then up and around the door are,these cool skeleton lights,they are from the early 90s and i just,thought they were too neat,and then through here is the living room,i have some glitter crows on the table,behind the couch as well as my spooked,up mini vintage sewing machine and of,course my antique halloween postcards i,hope to collect some more of these,someday but they are hard to find at a,good price,and this is how i decorated the tea cart,i just loved this halloween place mat,when i saw it at home goods,and below i have a neat old halloween,music book,in front of the couch i have this,tic-tac-toe board i found at target a,few years ago and i have some pumpkin,lights across the window along with some,halloween accents below,and crawling up the wall are these,spider cutouts i made over 10 years ago,for our very first halloween party,and making its first debut on my channel,here is our fish aquarium,we have a variety of absolutely adorable,fish in here including casper our betta,fish,and through here is the dining room,i wanted a very classic halloween look,in here so i made paper decorations and,suspended streamers from the ceiling and,gave the streamer ends a decorative cut,to create more of an elegant look,this tablescape was an absolute blast to,put together,i used my vintage orange enamelware,dishes some neat paper plates these oil,lamp shades that i dusted with black,spray paint and other decorations that i,received from balsam hill to use in the,tablescaping video i made that feature,some of their halloween products,if you would like to see how this,tablescape was put together you're,welcome to check that video out on my,channel as well,and then over here is my little,halloween tree,i decorated it with a mix of,store-bought and handmade ornaments and,underneath i have some popcorn balls in,pumpkin bags,around the mirror i have these cat,decorations i purchased at target and,over here is this neat bucket i found at,a garage sale this summer,and this is how i decorated the china,cabinet this year,i decided on an orange and black theme,but added other items like this cool,vintage napkin,and then i just have a mix of old and,new halloween decorations throughout,including this neat old frame with,halloween postcard images inside,so coming through here is the kitchen,i decorated the island with fall and,halloween items,this witch globe i painted last year and,then i added a few spiders to this fall,floral arrangement,and then in front of these stools are,some fun halloween plates i got from my,mother-in-law,and then over here is the coffee bar,area,earlier this season i had fun painting,this tin to make it into a halloween,themed k-cup holder,and then above is another crow,decorating my vintage butter mold,collection,just because i thought it was so cool i,thought i would show you this coffee rug,that i got at walmart for four pucks,and then over here in the window i have,another vintage style lantern i made,in the other window i have this fun,light up witch that i found on ebay,my grandma had one just like it when i,was little so i was so excited to,finally find one,off the kitchen is this small bathroom,that i decorated with a halloween hand,towel this ghost soap dispenser that was,250 at walmart and this cool witch soap,from the charming frog etsy shop,in the little staircase i decorated the,railing with a leaf garland that i added,flickering lights spiders and pumpkin,lights to,i added a few fun decorations to the,hooks and added some vintage halloween,paper cutouts to the walls as well,and then at the top of the stairs is the,little guest room,i decided to put some mummy lights on,the headboard and added this cute little,owl pillow to the bed,and then reaching out from under the bed,are some paper hands i cut out of,cardstock,and this i actually purchased when i,worked at hallmark years ago,and then over here i added just a few,halloween touches to these hooks and to,the nightstand next to the bed,so next is the clawfoot tub bathroom,on the tub i have this cute little,pumpkin and of course my beatrix,percival halloween book decorating the,board on the top,this was actually just a summer wreath,that i added fall mums and pumpkins to,and around the rest of the room i've,added a few more seasonal touches,so going up to the third floor i added,all of these little paper mice,decorations along with some pumpkin,votive holders,my grandpa actually made this desk for,my brother and i when we were little and,these are just some vintage halloween,paper pop-up decorations that we got,from tim's gram,and then over here on the other desk i,have a couple decorations and then i,decorated the antique bed with the faux,fur spider i made and added a few other,decorations in this little nook as well,and then back down to the second floor,is our bedroom,these little painted eggs were actually,from my mother-in-law and then below is,our electric fireplace decorated with,pumpkins and leaves,so on our bed are these adorable,halloween pusheens,i love pusheen the cat comics and so tim,started buying me some of the halloween,and other seasoned machines each year,and here is our dresser,i updated an old worn thrift store,pumpkin with some paint and some,transparent paper for the eyes,this was such a fun little project and,i'm so happy with how it turned out,and then here's where i placed the fall,tree that i made last year,so in the hall i just added a few fall,items to this dry sink,and this is marshmallow's room,i added a fall book to the coffee table,and placed a floral pumpkin on the,mantel and then i found these cool,halloween curtains online,and here is marshmallow,so once it gets dark outside i'll show,you what everything looks like inside,and out with the lights off,so,you
