DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

what's wrecking family so you guys asked, for halloween diys and that's what i'm,bringing to you today dollar tree is,getting it a bunch of halloween decor, right now and though it looks like fall, behind me it's actually 91 degrees, outside so let me know the weather near, you is it feeling like fall at all, anyways let's begin the video the next, time you're in dollar tree pick up one,of their mop heads they carry them on,their own or you can buy the one that, has a handle attached to it this part is,optional but hear me out it looks way, better if you untwist the fabric that's,twisted on the mop creating thinner, pieces you want your mop to be stiff so,use a max hold hairspray and spray one, side once it's dry flip the mop over and, spray the other side i used suave max, hold hairspray i then spray painted my,mop using a brown spray paint you can,use acrylic paint if you like it's just, more time consuming and i also like that, the spray paint helps stiffen the mop, even more once the spray paint has dried,i brought the mop inside and used a,light brown paint to create some, highlights we're trying to make the mop, look like a straw broom i've included, some rope on top of the mop to make it,look more aged now this is how you're,going to get your broom to move go to,five below and pick up a remote control, car for five dollars you'll need to use, something flat like a square block to,attach the mop and the card together, flip your mop over to reveal the plastic, piece that is underneath the mop and, then use a heavy duty glue like e6000 to,attach the wood block to the mop and to,the car i also use some hot glue because,it just dries more quickly and makes, things go a little bit faster you can,use the mop handle that comes with the,mop if you like but i decided to use a,wooden dowel that i got for around a,dollar and fifty cents from walmart just, because it's very lightweight i also, painted this doll a brown color and then, glued some rope to the top of it to give,it a more antique reason you have to,stiffen up the mop is so that the fabric, doesn't keep getting stuck underneath, the car wheels it just kind of floats, with the car this is an original idea, that i had to think real hard on how to,make it work it does work it cost me ten, dollars to make when it retails for, eighty dollars on amazon and make sure, you follow me on tick tock because i,plan on doing something similar using a,roomba, every year dollar tree gets in these, ghosts if you have a ceiling fan you can,do a cool hack with these what you're,going to do is you are just going to tie, them to the ceiling fan i'm using twine,to attach mines to the ceiling fans and, guess what, that's it you just tie them to the, ceiling fan then turn the ceiling fan on,it looks like there is ghost flying, around your house and don't worry the, ghosts are very lightweight so they, won't be bending any of the fans on your, ceiling fan this is an easy hack to do,and it looks really really cool if the, fabric is a little bit too long for you,you can always trim that down, the next time you're in dollar tree pick,up two cocoa plant liners you won't,believe what you can make with these, you're going to place them inside of,each other to basically make a pacman, head shape and when you have that shape, down you can then glue them to each, other hold the cocoa liners together, until the glue has completely dried and, then move on to gluing another section, when you're in dollar tree pick up a,broom handle you're going to trace the, broom handle on the bottom of your, coconut liner and create a hole using, some scissors you're then going to push, the handle through that hole now it's,time to paint your coconut liner i'm,using a lime green color on the coconut, liner i recommend using a paint sponge,to paint this it makes it so much easier, and do a stippling motion versus a,stroke the edge of the coconut liners, has what looks already like a lip so i,painted that area red i also used black, paint i mixed it with my green paint and, with my red paint to shade different, areas and then i used the black paint on,its own especially in the inside of the, mouth our mouth needs teeth i'm going to,be using craft foam i got from hobby, lobby but dollar tree also carries white, craft foam it's just hard to find, sometimes i glue them inside of the, mouth just using hot glue and i don't,like to keep them all white so i use, some shades of brown paint to just dirty,up the teeth a little bit now i got a,pool noodle from dollar tree i cut it,down to about three feet and i push my,broomstick through the pool noodle now,i'm going to be using a planter i got, from dollar general for ten dollars,we're flipping it over and we're using, our drill to create a big hole at the, bottom this way we can place our, broomstick through this hole you don't,want it to be too big otherwise the, broomstick is gonna fall right over i,placed some gravel and stones at the, bottom of this the stones were from, dollar tree and the gravel was from, walmart you just want this to be,weighted at the bottom so it's not easy,to tip over i ended up painting the pool, noodle i just used a darker green black, and brown paint once i have that done,it's time to attach some fake greenery, now this greenery i got at hobby lobby, you can use dollar tree greenery but you,end up spending more at dollar tree than, you do just going to a craft store and, getting it on sale and when i glued the, greenery to the coconut liner i held it,in place while i wait for the glue to,dry that's how i made these almost five, feet tall venus fly traps and i made, them for under 25 i only needed four, dollar tree products plus the greenery, from hobby lobby which was eight dollars, and then the planter which was ten, dollars, okay for this project you want to pick,up some gift boxes from dollar tree i,went with two of these cylinder shapes, and i'm removing the lid you're also, going to need some craft foam i,purchased this big pack from walmart you,get 50 sheets for a little over five, dollars i'm starting off with the bigger, cylinder and i'm taking the lime green, foam and cutting it out to go around the, cylinder i'll also be cutting a piece, that's going to go on the top once i,have those pieces cut i use some glue to,attach them to the cylinder boxes i used, foam glue on the bigger pieces that go,on the sides just because sometimes hot, glue can mess with the shape of foam so,i didn't want any weird lines going, through the pieces on the side i'm going,to be making three different tiers the, bottom one is supposed to be a little, frankenstein so i use my black foam to,create some hairs stitches the eyes and,the mouth now for the second tier i go,ahead and glue the box on top of my,frankenstein and this one i turned into,a ghost so i used white foam for this, and then black foam for the features i,decided i wanted to do one more smaller, tier i didn't use a box for this but, dollar tree does carry small boxes you,can use in the craft supply section if,you want instead i just took the foam, and created a cylinder shape with that, foam and this is supposed to be a tiny, little pumpkin you guys know i love to,make fake sweets on this channel and i,usually do these with spackle i decided,to do one that's done without spackle to,give you guys some options i'm gonna be,using pom poms from dollar tree as the, icing for this as well as some ribbon, and this ribbon i got at hobby lobby on,sale for a dollar and fifty cents you, just hot glue them wherever you see fit,and if you want to go with tobacco you, most definitely can finally i just, painted on a little bit more features, for instance some more whites on the eye,and then i wanted to give my ghost and,the pumpkin some cheeks so i use the, light pink pink to do that and that's,how you make a foam and pom pom cake, instead of doing the spackle and of,course you can always add spackle to,this to truly make it look like a cake, either way this is adorable and so easy,to do recently on my channel i shared, with you guys how to make a giant, gingerbread house out of dollar tree, foam board i knew when i did that we had,to make a haunted house so i picked up,some black foam board from dollar tree, and i recommend having a box cutter or,an x-acto knife on hand to cut through, your foam board i like using an l,bracket just to figure out where to cut, exactly and get a straight line now i'm,not going to give you guys the exact, dimensions for this because it's a,little bit hard for me to do but, basically figure out a haunted house, design that you want to make i make sure, both the front and the back of the, haunted house are the exact same thing i,also ended up cutting out some little, pieces that are going to go in the front,of the house so it pops out a little bit, more i'm going to put fairy lights, inside of my haunted house so i need, windows so that you can actually see the, fairy lights so i just go ahead and i,cut out windows i don't try to make, every window the exact same size as the, window i cut before i just try my best, with it now once you have all your walls, cut you can then start gluing them to a,base a foam board now you're going to,have a lot of scrapped leftover pieces,of foam board cut those pieces into, smaller pieces that you're gonna use to,help support your walls so as you glue, your walls down you layer some of those, little scrap pieces to just help keep, everything nice and upright i used five, pieces of foam board to do this and let,me tell you guys it really was so easy,to do,now the truly fun part decorating the, house i got these black webs from dollar, tree and i just placed them on top of,the haunted house like i said i want to,put fairy lights inside of my haunted, house i got these from amazon i'll link, them down below they're remote, controlled which makes it really nice, because you don't want to have to put, your hand inside of there every single, time to turn them on and i put three, fairy lights inside of each kind of,compartment of my haunted house, dollar tree carries bat clips and, spiders that are perfect for this so i,decided to clip and glue some of these, pieces onto the haunted house and after,i did all this i was like you know what, this this needs a little something else,so i decided to dry brush some white, paint so basically what that means is,you take a brush dip it inside of some, paint remove most of the paint from the, brush and then do light strokes over, your project and this is going to kind,of create a very distressed look that's,how i made a haunted house using five, pieces of foam board from dollar tree i,love this thing so much it is so cool, and i feel like you can take advantage,of the inside of the haunted house and, maybe put some ghost or something inside,of there i truly love this diy and if,you recreate it make sure you tag me,because i would love to see it,every year i love to make potion bottles,on my channel i don't like to just put, labels on the front i like to make them, unique so i'm going to share with you, everything i stuck in my bottles for the, first bottle i got these bones from, dollar tree and i place the bones inside,of the bottle all of the bottles i'm,using are from dollar tree the second, bottle i'm going to be using the small, little skull heads that i got at,michael's i paid around four dollars for, them halloween and michaels is already,on sale for 40,off i then cut down some of these, broomsticks that i got from dollar tree,i had to cut them down to fit the inside,of this glass i got foam bones from, dollar tree so i put those in another, glass i decided to dirty up some water, with some acrylic paint and pour that, into the first glass that has the bones,so it would look a little bit different, from the one that has the foam bones in,another glass i'm going to be placing, some of these spiders that i also got, from dollar tree if you don't want to,buy a bunch of individual things for the, glasses i recommend getting food, coloring this way you're able to use, water and food coloring to get some, really spooky potion bottles finally the, last bottle i have to share with you, guys which is my favorite i got one of,those bigger ghosts that you saw me use, earlier and i cut some pieces down that,i filled up with some cotton at the top,and tied i'm making little ghosts out of,these and then i just painted little, faces on them i'm going to be putting, these inside of the bottle i did glue, the bigger ghost to the lid of the, bottle so that way they kind of float up,a little bit better i made some labels,i'll link down below for you guys that i,printed out on some sticker paper and, then i cut out just using my scissors so,here are the labels and what goes with, each bottle the skulls has a label that, says pickled skulls then the brooms have,a witch's broom label the ghosts have a,bottle of booze label the foam bones, have a label that says bone powder it's,not, powdery by any means but hey the, spider's label is spider venom then the, potion bottles that i made with the food, coloring the red one i did arsenic, poisoning then the green one is snake, venom finally our last label is dragon, bones and that's how you make these, really cool unique potion bottles don't,get me wrong i still like the bottles, where they just have a label on the, front and the bottle is like a solid, color however i prefer these these are,so much more interesting to look at and, they can be kind of funny if you can, find a cool play on words like the, bottle of booze one i love love love, making potion bottles on this channel, but like i said i like to do them in a,unique way, last year we used the dollar tree doll, houses to make haunted houses we're,gonna do something similar but different,i'll be using two of the pink doll, houses from dollar tree i'm removing the, windows frames doors, roof everything from it i'm just gonna, have the base of the house i painted one, house all yellow and then the other, house all orange i had to do a few, layers of paint to get an opaque look so,i did one layer of paint wait for it to,dry and then move on to the next layer, you don't want to keep adding layers, when the paint is still wet otherwise, you're not going to achieve the look, that you want dollar tree carries white, houses as well and i'm going to be using, this for the top of what i'm making i,removed again all the window frames the, door frame the roof and i'm just keeping, that all white but i did paint the roof,of this house black then the doors i,took out of the houses i painted yellow, orange and white,i'm going to be stacking the houses on,top of each other to do this i have to,remove the plastic corners that are on,the bottom of the houses that are going,to be stacked on top of each other if,you don't remove those pieces you won't,be able to glue them down flat to each, other so i removed those pieces and then,i glued the houses down and basically,i'm making a candy corn house you can, then put back in your windows and the, frames i only put back in the windows, that were white and i actually used some,of the windows from the, bottom houses, for the top of the roof then glued the, houses to a piece of foam board because,i'm going to be using spackle you put, speckle inside of a piping bag with an,icing tip and then you just treat it as,if it were icing that you're icing on,top of a gingerbread house dollar tree, does carry spackle but my favorite, spackle is dap spackle that you find at,home depot it's just creamy you don't,have to mix it with water you get more, bang for your buck i like it a lot more,so i just did like some different, designs on top of this i embellished, this with some fake candy corns and i'll,link the seller i used down below for,you guys i got it from etsy, then i used some puff paint from dollar, tree to create more detailed designs, that i really cannot do with the spackle,to make it look more like a gingerbread, house little designs that look like, lights and wreaths, and snow,it's just easier to use the puff paint, for these designs than spackle like i,said because spackle it's like,no you would have a very hard time doing, this with spackle so we are making a,gingerbread haunted house type of,situation even though this is candy corn,so it's a little bit sweeter it's so,cute and easy to do you guys and it's,really fun because you can go like any, design it doesn't have to be just candy, corn i absolutely love the way that this, turned out i want to make some little, fake cookies to go along with this, right now at dollar tree you can find, halloween christmas trees i'll be using, nine for this project i remove the, bottom off of all the trees except one,and then push all the branches of the, trees to one side i'm going to share, with you how you can make one bigger, substantial fuller tree using multiple, trees dollar tree christmas trees are, very sparse they look kind of sad on,their own so you want to get at least, two to make a fuller tree i recommend, three but you want at least two what, you'll do is you'll use zip ties to,attach a group of trees together whether, that's two three four more than four it,just starts to look like funny so what, you're gonna do is just use those zip, ties and tie all your trees together so,i'm gonna do three rows of trees and in,each row there's gonna be three attached,to,each other so i have the top of my,christmas tree which is three trees and, then when i attach the middle of the, christmas tree i attach the top of these, trees that i'm adding to the bottom of,the trees that are already there and, that's how i attach all the trees, together all the trees are attached you,can cut the zip ties off and then place, the stands on the one piece that you, still left the plastic on,i'll share with you guys how i decorated, mine dollar tree carries miniature, ornaments that are great for these mini, trees i picked up three packs and i,mainly focused on the front of my tree i,do this with my christmas tree too i,don't put ornaments all the time all, around the tree i just make sure that if,i don't put it on the back i don't make, the front too weighted otherwise it'll,fall over on you i also added some of,these ornaments these i ended up getting,at home goods i got them last year they, were 9.99,so i placed some of those on my tree, right now dollar tree has candy corn, picks so i remove the candy corn off of,the pigs and then i glue them to the, christmas tree i purchased this ghost, pick from michael's for a little over, two dollars this is going to be my tree, topper and then i used one of the webs, from dollar tree as the skirt for my,tree that's how you make a bigger tree, using these small trees from dollar tree, this tree is about three feet tall and,it cost me 11.25,to make which is a steal of course the, price of the ornaments that's different, but the tree base itself was 11.25,right now dollar tree has foam skulls in,and what's nice about these is they are, easier to work with than the plastic, ones they get in so what i'm doing is,i'm taking this little like skewer it's,honestly a kitchen thing i'm making a,hole through my skulls and then feeding,a broomstick through the skulls i'll be,using five total i figure out how i want, these skeletons to look when they're,stacked on top of each other and i make, the holes according to that and i really, recommend using something,to create those holes instead of just, the broomstick because it's really hard,to create a hole with just a broomstick, once i have all the skulls on top of the, broomstick i went outside and i spray, painted them with a cream color i,decided to spray paint them again as i,said earlier it's just it's faster to do,for me but you can always use an acrylic, paint i then went in with acrylic paint,to add the details so the shading the, highlighting that i need the cracks that,i need i kind of just played it by ear i,started with black and i put those, inside of the areas i wanted to be the, darkest so the eyes and the nose i then, went in with like brown tones and tried,to make the skulls look a little bit, more dirty, and then i did like a grayish color, around the teeth just figure out what, works for you,i purchased this planter at dollar tree,i'm gonna be gluing some foam pieces, also from dollar tree to the bottom of,the planter and once i have those foam, pieces in i push my broomstick through, the foam so now it's standing upright i,placed the kitchen towel at the bottom,of this to dummy it up so that i could, put some stones from dollar tree inside,of here but not have to use as many, stones you need something down there, though that's weighted otherwise this is,going to fall over on you because it's,so lightweight to really spook this up i,put some webs from dollar tree on the, bottom of this and that's it that's how,i made this i don't really know what you, want to call this like tower of skulls i,i don't know but it's really spooky, looking, really wanted to do another diy using, the foam skulls from dollar tree so for, this project we're gonna need two of the, paper towel holders from dollar tree you,are going to push two heads through a,paper towel holder and then once you, have those two heads through there you, take another paper towel holder and put,it through the top of the skull now i,purchased two of these wood rounds from, dollar tree i'm going to be gluing my,paper towel holders to these wood rounds, using hot glue i recommend using, something else than hot glue i'm just, using hot glue because it dries quickly, and i'm filming i'm trying to do things, fast if you use hot glue like i did, though do not put anything heavy on top,of this and make sure you put more hot, glue on the bottom paper towel holder, that's touching that bottom wood piece, don't worry about it it gets covered up,or you can use something to cover it up,i then went ahead and i spray painted, this entire thing black i then went in,with some gold acrylic paint to,highlight areas of the skull that's how,you make this really cool skull stand i,wouldn't put anything too heavy on the,top of this especially if you use hot, glue i absolutely love the way that this, one turned out, this is a simple project you can get, these traffic cones in the toy section,of dollar tree and just paint them to,look like candy corn make sure you're,using a paint that is meant for outside, use so in this case you're just going to,use white and yellow paint and you're,going to have to do a few layers of this, because it's plastic if you use an,acrylic paint it doesn't really go on,plastic the nicest the first time around,so you have to do a few layers to get, that opaque look what you see right here,is my second layer of paint and you can,see it starts looking way more opaque, with the second layer of paint you can,use this outside to make some really, cute decor i think it's super unique, because i never really see people, decorate with candy corn outside the, other thing you can do is get styrofoam, from dollar tree the ones that look like, cones and paint that instead which i,prefer this way just because i don't,have to do a bunch of layers of paint i,just do one the way you get these to,stand outside without falling over with, any type of wind is by using bamboo, skewers from dollar tree i break them in,half i stick them in the ground and then, put the cone over the skewer and i go,straight down with the cone so that the, skewer doesn't poke out of the sides and, that's it these are so cute i want to,make more and have them all over for, halloween, for our next project you're going to,need some wood beads dollar tree carries, them they're unfinished you can paint, them black if you want or,you can buy them already colored and i,have this black garland i bought at,walmart last year when it was on,clearance i probably paid like a dollar, for all of this so i'm going to use that, instead, now i'm going to also be using some fake, apples you can get these at hobby lobby, for inexpensive price i think i paid, three dollars for a big bag of them,we're going to be making poison apple, garland so i'm going to be using these, yarn needles and i'm going to tie some, string through one of the yarn needles i,then i'm going to start putting some, beads on top of that and as i put beads,i'm also going to be putting some of the, foam, apples now i want to do this beforehand, because once i have glue on top of this, which is what we're going to be using,i'm going to have a hard time getting, the needle through the glue so i need, this big needle to get through the foam,of the apple and i use pliers to pull it,out so i push the needle through the, apple and then use pliers to pull it out,i used a mixture of red and green apples, now to get the poison apple face and the, look of it i'm going to be using hot, glue now when you're doing this you, don't want to hold the apple for long, just hold it to get the initial face, down and then once you start to pour the, rest of the hot glue stop holding the, apple unless you want to burn your, fingerprints off unless you have those, glue gun finger protectors you can use, those but if you don't have those, don't hold it long because you will burn, your fingers make sure wherever you're,pouring the hot glue on the apple you, don't mind hot glue getting on that, surface so in this case i had these, little coasters that i was using if the,hot glue got on there it's really easy,to take off i like to use hot glue for, this because i like the 3d look it gives,it it makes it look more like it was, dipped into something you can always, just use paint instead and not do it,this way but i really do like the way, that the hot glue makes this look wait, for the hot glue to completely dry, before you start to paint over it i used,a lime green paint and a red paint the,red apples i painted with the lime green, and the green apples i painted with the,red color you are going to have to do a,few layers of paint and wait for each, layer to dry before putting on your next, layer the reason you're gonna have to do,a few layers of paint is to get the, opaque look unless you don't really mind,a bit of the hot glue still showing, underneath your paint now to hang this,on top of my fireplace i'm just tying, the ends of my garland to some command, strips and then i place that on my,fireplace now this garland is heavy, because of the apples so to get the, apples to stay where i want them to stay, put i'm using some glue dots that i got, from dollar tree i just place them on,the back of each apple and then place, the apple exactly how i want it to be i,made this garland a little bit too long, for my fireplace so please try to excuse, that this garland is so darn cute i have, never seen something like this before,i've seen the poison apples that you can,buy but i've never seen a garland of it,it's so cute to do and last year i made, the poison apples but i made them bigger, and it's the exact same thing as before,it's just easier to make the faces on,the bigger apples you use your hot glue, gun to create the face and the little, dip look to it and then once the glue, dries you can paint it i did shade, around the eyes and the nose with some, black paint on these apples to really, give it some dimension,i shared this project last year not, everyone has seen it so i want to,reshare it because it's really good you,can get some blank t-shirts at dollar, tree if you can find 100 cotton t-shirts,i recommend getting those you're also, going to pick up some of their diy wood, blanks then get an empty spray bottle, and bleach you're going to fill the, spray bottle up with bleach if you have,a piece of cardboard lying around put, that in between your t-shirts what we're,going to do is we are going to place our, wood blanks on top of the t-shirts and, spray the bleach on top of that what, happens is the design that's on the wood, blank transfers onto your t-shirts the, bleach just goes around it but still, leaves the design it's really really, cool, after they're done you can go ahead and, wash these inside of the washing machine, and that's it so easy to do and super, cool next up we're going to be making, the hocus pocus book from dollar tree, you want to pick up a blank book as well,as their faux leather that you're going,to find near all of the cricket items so,it's a long roll what you'll do is,you'll cut that piece down to wrap, around the inside of the book as well as,the outside once you have that cut down, just glue it into place with your hot, glue gun now we'll be using some fake, eyeballs from dollar tree you're going,to want to go ahead and cut those in,half all you have to do is find the hole, that's in the ball and then put your, scissor through it and that way you'll,be able to cut it in half once you have,it cut in half take the part that has,the iris and glue that onto your book, now this is the most time consuming part,of this diy but it is so easy to do you, just take your hot glue gun and you use,it to create the designs that are on the, book you want to do layers of this so in,the corners of the book there's these, little snake designs so you want to,start off with a layer there and that's,going to be the very base of the design, and once that dries start adding the, snake design over it so it starts to,give it that 3d effect another example, are the stitches and the wounds i,started off making the wounds and then i,waited for that to dry and then i went, over that with the glue again to create, the stitches and that's how i created, the 3d effect after you have all your, designs down it's time to paint, everything i recommend going over every, design except for the eyelid area with, black paint this gives it a really good, base and it gives the paint that you, apply afterwards something to attach to,after i have every area that i want, painted black i then go in with my,colors the only colors i used on the, book itself not the eye were silver, black, white and brown paint if you're into, highlighting and shading like i am all,you have to do is dip your finger inside,of the paint and rub it over the leather,it's really easy to blend it that way, versus using a paint brush and that's,how i shade it and i highlighted the, book the only other thing that was left, for me to do was to paint the eyeball, the eyeball of the hocus pocus book is,not yellow i went with blue i just used, some blue paint to paint over the iris, and then black paint to paint over the, pupil a little more i love the way that, this book came out if you cannot find, the leather from dollar tree i will link,my other tutorial down below for you, guys that one i use toilet paper and, anybody can find toilet paper i mean i,guess if it was 20 20 you might not have, been able to find toilet paper but now,you can moving right along from dollar, tree you're going to want to pick up,some of their hanging coffin signs and i,recommend at least using three but if,you want to use more, honestly the more the better and you're,also going to be using these chalkboard, signs again from dollar tree now i had,my husband cut down these signs to make, pieces that are going to go around the, coffin, again you do not need to use a saw or,anything like that you can use scissors, now go ahead and glue your coffins on,top of each other and the reason you, need a few of these is so that the, chalkboard has something to attach to so,once i have all of my coffins glued on,top of each other i can now attach the, chalkboard to the sides of the coffin,i used hot glue to do this but i really, recommend using a more heavy duty glue i,just use the hot glue because it dries, quickly and it i don't have to like wait, forever to finish, filming a video this part is completely, optional you can keep the imagery as is,but i decided to paint over that imagery, using some black paints, and i also painted over the edges of the, chalkboard now it's time to decorate the, inside of the coffin i got these skulls, from dollar tree and i'm going to be,gluing one on top of the other and i,just use hot glue to do this now as you,do this you're going to notice that, these skulls are kind of tipping over, because they're very lightweight they, don't have a base under them when you, stick them inside of the coffin the, walls of the coffin are gonna keep them, upright then i added some fairy lights, now i have to credit somebody for this, diy my husband if you guys like this diy,say thanks to matt in the comments, because he's the one who came up with, this he actually made a different coffin, using the wall shelves from dollar tree,we didn't have enough for me to do that,on camera so that's why i ended up using, the chalkboard signs i'm gonna show you, guys how i decorated his coffin i got, this little skeleton from dollar tree i,went ahead and glued him inside i added, some web and spiders from dollar tree, and then that's just how i decorated, matt's coffin so again thanks to matt, these are super cool they're about two, feet tall and they wouldn't even work, outside if you wanted them to that's it,for these halloween diys i hope you, enjoyed the video let me know your, favorite down in the comments and i will, see you next time take care bye

The above is a brief introduction to dollar tree halloween decor ideas

Let's move on to the first section of dollar tree halloween decor ideas

Dollar Tree HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (cheap fall decor ideas to impress everyone!)

Dollar Tree HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (cheap fall decor ideas to impress everyone!)

hey everyone it's Sara Jane with Chic  on the cheap and today we're making a  ,bunch of fun and easy Halloween  decorations using a majority of  ,Dollar Tree products I hope you guys enjoy  this video let's go ahead and get started  ,okay so first we're going to make a ghost that's  perfect for your front porch or even the inside  ,of your house and to start you'll need one funnel  these come in a pack of three at Dollar Tree and  ,a bucket or a planter of some kind and then  just glue the funnel inside of it I'm using  ,hot glue which does work well for this you just  want to make sure that there is a strong hold  ,and here is how mine looked next add some glue  to the top of the funnel and grab a Dollar Tree  ,broom handle and place the open end over the  top of the funnel you may have to hold it in  ,place for a few seconds while the glue dries but  the broomstick should be set in place like this  ,and this next step is especially important  if you're going to have your ghost outside  ,be sure to add some dirt or rocks or in my case  some rice inside the planter to weigh it down  ,next grab a bowl I found this clear one at Dollar  Tree and I'm going to hot glue it to the top of  ,the broomstick I love using hot glue for my  projects but always feel free to use whatever  ,kind of glue or adhesive you prefer and just to  give you a look at what we just created basically  ,it looks like some sort of floor lamp then you'll  want to wrap some lights around the broom handle  ,these are just plain Christmas lights and I  would suggest using floral wire or strong tape  ,to secure the lights then after the lights are  in place you can put a sheet over the top or in  ,my case this is a Dollar Tree tablecloth it's  the round tablecloth that you can find in the  ,party section and the ghost is already looking  good but of course he needs some eyes and I am  ,using some of Dollar Tree sparkly black vinyl I  just cut out two oval shapes and stuck them on  ,foreign how the ghost turned out I think  he is so incredibly cute especially with  ,the lights off he is over four feet tall and  would make the perfect addition to your front  ,porch to greet trick-or-treaters and this DIY  is so easy I decided to make two of them and  ,aside from the Christmas lights everything used  to make these ghosts did come from Dollar Tree, and I am so excited to share this next DIY  with you and it is inspired by this Instagram  ,Creator I will have her page linked down in  the description box below but she has a lot of  ,really creative Halloween DIYs and other holiday  decorating ideas that you should definitely go  ,and check out and this one is so good now what  you'll need is a cauldron I picked up mine from  ,Joann's and you'll also need some sort of filler I  had this Dollar Tree planter on hand so I'm using  ,this but you can use styrofoam or even plastic  bags you basically just want something inside  ,of The Cauldron to take up space and I'm just  going to glue this upside down to the bottom  ,and here's what that looks like on the inside  next you'll need some clear ornaments you can  ,always pick up some from Dollar Tree or an  even better deal are the Box ornaments from  ,Hobby Lobby they are almost always 50 off this  time of year and I started with two boxes of  ,these iridescent ones and you just want to pull  the hanger portion off of the top it should be  ,pretty easy to do and once your ornaments are  hanger free you can begin gluing them in place  ,and you'll start by attaching the ornaments to  your filler piece which of course is my planter  ,and just keep stacking trust me it's really hard  to mess this up you're going for an overflowing  ,Bubble look so I am just gluing these on in random  places once I ran out of the larger ornaments I  ,went in with one box of these smaller ones and  I just placed them again in random spots and  ,also down the side like this to make it look like  The Cauldron was overflowing and then once you're  ,done you can add a ribbon if you would like but  to really bring this thing to life add some fairy  ,lights specifically the ones that twinkle it just  makes this cauldron look so magical and it's just  ,one of the cutest Halloween DIYs I've ever seen  and this is my version of it there are a bunch of  ,them floating around on social media I did want to  be sure to share where I got my inspiration from  ,but you can definitely make it your own and be  creative with it I just love this project so much, foreign, the next time you're at Dollar Tree grab a few  packs of black balloons and some balloon glue  ,to make a huge spider you'll want to start  by blowing up one of the balloons all the  ,way and another just halfway and because I  want to position the spider at the corner of  ,my kitchen island I'm using the balloon glue to  attach the balloons to both the countertop and  ,to each other making sure the smaller balloon  is in the front now here's a side view so you  ,can see the head and the abdomen of the spider  and once that's done you'll want to blow up at  ,least 32 more balloons yes and I blew all  of them up to about the size of a softball  ,and these balloons will be the legs of the  spider and really all you have to do is attach  ,the balloons together using the balloon glue  and one thing I did want to mention though is  ,that if I did this again I would use some duct  tape or some other kind of adhesive just to make  ,sure all of the balloons had a stronger hold  especially if I was building this for a party  ,where people are going to like Brush by it or  possibly touch it a bunch but the balloon glue  ,does hold just know if you want to make sure  your spider doesn't fall apart during your  ,evening make sure you use some tape along with  the balloon glue is what I recommend and I did  ,give my spider eight legs and I put four balloons  on each leg and then I went back and added some  ,extra balloons to the back legs just to give the  spider some depth so that is 35 balloons total, and here's what the spider looks like I think  it already looks so cool just sitting there at  ,the edge of my kitchen island but I do think he  needs some eyes so you can either draw those on  ,or paint them on I found this little craft kit  at Dollar Tree there are little eyes inside of  ,it so those are perfect I just attached  them once again using some balloon glue  ,and here's how my spider turned out I think he  looks so good and I know he would be a huge hit  ,at your next Halloween party and really he is  so easy to make and pretty quick too I think  ,in total this took me about an hour to create  just because I did blow up all the balloons  ,myself but if you can pick up a little machine  or have a friend help you you can get this done  ,even faster but how fun would this be sitting  in your kitchen or on a table next to all of  ,your food and drinks at your next party I also  want to say that you can put this balloon spider  ,other places as well just have fun with it  here's how he looks above the refrigerator, okay so next you want to pick up some large jars  I found these at Dollar Tree and they're a really  ,nice size and a great deal for a dollar and 25  cents and you'll also want to pick up some of  ,these window clings I've been a big fan of  Dollar Tree window clings for a long time  ,and I've done a lot of projects with them but  basically what you need to know is that they  ,stick to glass without any glue or any adhesive  but if you want more of a permanent hold you can  ,always add some glue if you would like but you  don't need it and here I'm adding some of my  ,favorite window clings to the jars and again  no glue is needed which is a wonderful thing  ,next I'm filling the jars with candy and usually  when making gifts like this I try to think about  ,the candy that I would most like to receive and  that's definitely Mr goodbars and Reese's so  ,that's what I'm using but let me know what's your  favorite candy what did you always hope you would  ,get from your neighbors in your trick-or-treat  bags I always was disappointed when I got anything  ,caramel I am not a caramel fan which might be  weird to some people but that's it these are the  ,finished treat jars and what I love about this is  that we didn't do any damage to the jar so you can  ,give this as a gift to someone and they can enjoy  having a Halloween gift from you and then they  ,can just peel off the window cling and repurpose  the jar for food storage or kitchen organization  ,I just love that you can make a gift that can be  nice for the occasion but also be repurposed and  ,I'm also really impressed with the graphics on  these window clings they look like something you  ,might find in Target but you'd likely pay more  than 1.25 cents for the set next are some new  ,bottles that I found in Dollar Tree this week and  what's so exciting about these is that they light  ,up and they do come with batteries so here's  how they look once they are lit up and this is  ,just a super easy idea for these I grabbed some  poster stickers from my local craft store Dollar  ,Tree does sell poster stickers but they're not as  pretty as these these have some glitter on them  ,and of course if you have a Cricut you can use  that to make some letters as well but I don't have  ,one so these poster stickers are great to have on  hand to spell out words and I spelled out boo and  ,then you can add the bottles to your coffee bar  or your treat bar or have them out at a Halloween  ,party but this is just a really easy idea and  a way that you can use these new bottles from  ,Dollar Tree and your holiday decor and one thing I  wanted to mention about these bottles too is that  ,the battery compartment is at the very top so it's  really easy to switch out the batteries when the  ,lights die I don't know I just always feel like  that's a good thing to know so I wanted to share, for the next DIY I'm using the seasonal Dollar  Tree signs but usually you can find these items  ,year round they'll just have different  designs or graphics on them but really  ,it doesn't matter what they have on them  and I'll show you why in just a second but  ,first you want to glue the longer side to the  square sign like this and make sure everything  ,is nice and stable I repeated this two more  times to make three total stands and then  ,I took these Dollar Tree bowls and glued  one upside down to the top of each stand, and here's what the stands look like once the  bowls were on top and once you're done making  ,those you can take them outside to spray paint  them and I am just using a matte or flat black  ,spray paint and I'm doing my best to cover up all  of the designs on the sides I did want to mention  ,that you can of course hand paint these but I  really enjoy spray painting just because it is  ,so convenient and quick but hand painting is an  option too and here's how the stands looked once  ,the spray paint was dry and what I'm doing here is  just draping some really pretty green iridescent  ,mesh over the stands and I did find this at  Joanne's I just thought it was so beautiful  ,but you can use whatever kind of cloth or fabric  that you would like and then I'm going to use more  ,Dollar Tree bowls and hot glue them together now  what you want to do is make sure that you've lined  ,up all of the grooves not only will the bowls  stick together better this way they'll also  ,look a lot nicer and I did once again repeat this  step two more times to make three of the connected  ,bowls and this step is optional but I used a  heated knife to cut a small hole in the back of  ,the bowls for lights now if your hot glue gun gets  really hot you might be able to melt the plastic  ,using that but keep in mind you can always put  the lights inside of the bowls first and then glue  ,them together then you wouldn't need a hole just  make sure whatever you do that the battery pack  ,is on the outside then I glued the bowls to the  top of each stand like this making sure the hole  ,where the lights go in is facing the back then  you can add some ribbon and some hats and here  ,are my Trio of witches I think they turned out so  cute and which decor for some reason especially  ,anything that lights up can be pretty expensive  and I wanted to come up with an affordable way  ,that you can make some witches for your porch  or even for the inside of your house using a  ,majority of Dollar Tree products I did get the  green fairy lights and also the hats from Amazon  ,I will have those linked down in the description  box below but this project is really easy and it's  ,also one that you can get creative with and make  your own witches but I love how these turned out,now if you do get some of those green fairy lights  also pick up some of this green spider webbing  ,from Dollar Tree and if you have a cauldron on  hand just mix the webbing in with the fairy lights  ,it doesn't have to be pretty just make sure the  fairy lights are all covered up and you can also  ,fluff the spider webbing so that it looks like  it's peeking out of the top of the cauldron and  ,this looks so cool it creates a really fun neon  glow it reminds me of The Cauldron from Hocus  ,Pocus so if you're having a Hocus Pocus watch  party this would be perfect to have on hand and it  ,literally only takes seconds to make and you guys  it really is the Sprite I don't have any filters  ,on this video so definitely try this out at  your next Halloween party I think you'll love it  ,so I recently moved and I came across my first  Dollar Tree plus section and I found these  ,stackable pumpkins for five dollars now if you  don't have a Dollar Tree plus section I noticed  ,that Five Below is also selling stackable pumpkins  that look very similar also for five dollars but  ,you do get three pumpkins in different sizes  that connect together like this to create a  ,stack I think this is such a cool product and  I thought it would be fun to give it a quick  ,Halloween makeover so what I did was spray paint  two of the pumpkins black the top one which is  ,the smallest size and the bottom one which is  the largest and I've talked about this before  ,I always like to use flat or matte spray paint I  just find that I like the look of that best and  ,then the middle pumpkin is getting two coats of  white spray paint and again keep in mind that you  ,can hand paint all of these pumpkins as well and  here is a look at the pumpkins after they dried  ,and then to decorate them I'm taking three of  these little glitter bats and placing them on  ,the white pumpkin these bats are made out of a  sheet of glitter foam and I tried to position  ,the bats to make them look like they were flying  and because they were made out of foam they give  ,this really nice 3d effect once the bats were all  in place it was time to stack up the pumpkins and  ,see what we've created and here's what the Stacked  pumpkins look like with their Halloween glow up  ,I really like the Simplicity of this and it can  go with lots of different Halloween decor I did  ,find this hey boo sign at Dollar Tree it was also  in the plus section it was only five dollars but  ,it goes perfectly with the Stacked pumpkins and I  think for five dollars that is such a great deal, okay so I don't know about you guys but I love  Nightmare Before Christmas and when I saw these  ,gingerbread foam shapes at Hobby Lobby I had to  pick up a set to make some skeleton gingerbread  ,men you can also just cut out some gingerbread  shapes using construction paper whatever you  ,would like to do I just like the pre-cut ones  because they're a lot easier to use and they  ,make this project so quick and all I'm doing  here is just using puff paint to create the  ,bones for my gingerbread skeletons now here's  a closer look at the design I went with and  ,here's a look at my Army of gingerbread skeleton  men foreign I decided to take this Dollar Tree  ,wreath form and wrap it in some yarn and the way  that I like to do this is I take a long piece of  ,yarn and I tie it to the wreath form and then I  wrap the yarn around the wreath until I'm almost  ,running out of the yarn and then I will knot it  again doing it this way means you don't have to  ,use any glue which is a thing I'm a fan of a  lot of times when I use yarn and hot glue I  ,end up burning myself but here's how the wreath  form looked once it was all covered in the yarn  ,and then I'm just going to glue the gingerbread  skeleton men all around the wreath form  ,overlapping them as I go this is already giving  me all of The Nightmare Before Christmas vibes  ,and to finish things off I added a simple bow  but you can add whatever you would like to this  ,wreath if you'd like to go with a bigger bow  or maybe even add a happy Halloween sign I just  ,like to keep things pretty simple and here's  how the wreath turned out I think it is so  ,adorable and it's especially great for people  like me who love both Christmas and Halloween, foreign and lately when I've been doing my  DIY videos I try to give you guys some sort  ,of food idea and this is an idea that I've  been wanting to do for such a long time I  ,just picked up these items from Dollar Tree a  vanilla and chocolate cake mix some sprinkles  ,and some frosting and you'll also need a cookie  cutter I'm using this ghost shape and the first  ,step is to bake the vanilla cake and once it is  cooled take the cookie cutter and cut out your  ,ghost shapes now what I like to do is press the  cookie cutter into the sheet cake over and over  ,again before I pull the shapes out I just find  that the cake is easier to work with that way  ,and I'm less likely to tear it up but once  you're done you should be left with several  ,cake go shapes like this or of course whatever  shaped cookie cutter you're working with then  ,you'll want to line a loaf pan with some aluminum  foil and take the ghost shapes and line them up  ,down the middle next just mix up your chocolate  cake and pour the mix into the loaf pan making  ,sure to completely cover up the ghost shapes  follow the baking instructions on your cake mix  ,mine took a little over 20 minutes to bake and  then let that cool and frost it and here is how  ,the cake turned out with the ghost on the inside  you guys this cake is so much fun to make it is  ,so easy and it's really impressive looking it's  guaranteed to be a hit at your next Halloween  ,party just tell all the kids that the cake is  haunted and then cut it open trust me if I can  ,make it you can make it and I hope you guys do try  it it doesn't have to be a Halloween cake it can  ,also be a Christmas cake it can be any kind of  themed cake that you want with whatever kind of  ,cookie cutter that you have on hand but if you  guys do try this let me know how it turns out  ,all right guys well that's it those are  some fun and easy Halloween DIYs using  ,a majority of Dollar Tree products I hope  you guys enjoyed this video and as always  ,thank you so much for watching and until my  next one I'll see you then Happy Halloween

20 DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYs | Easy and Spooky Halloween Decor Compilation

20 DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYs | Easy and Spooky Halloween Decor Compilation

hey friends welcome back to my channel,it is finally that time of year where we,get to start making all of the spooky, and fun halloween diys you guys know, that this is my absolute favorite time,of year and i love making these types of,videos today's video is going to be a,halloween compilation video of my,favorite 20 dollar tree halloween diys, these are all super easy to recreate and, will definitely get you in the halloween, spirit,if you're not yet subscribed please do,consider subscribing down below this, first diy is one of my all-time,favorites because of how quick and easy,it is so i'm just going to be starting, with these foam bat stickers from dollar, tree they have a really pretty glitter, effect to them and i wanted to make them, look like they were almost flying across, these vases so i picked up these two, vases from dollar tree and they are in,the floral department and all you have,to do is just start applying your, stickers to the glass so i just wanted,to use the black ones here but the, silver ones and purple ones are really, pretty as well you can mix them up for a,really nice effect and i'm just kind of,staggering them a little bit and making, sure that they kind of look like they're,flying upwards to the sky if you make a,couple of these these would be beautiful, across a table for a centerpiece or just,a couple around your coffee table i like,to put these on my console table just to,light up at night time my favorite is to,put some of the flameless candles in,them that are on timers that way every, night they illuminate and they just look,so spooky and it is such a quick and, easy diy you will be done in no time and, here is how they look with those, flameless candles, for this next diy i'm going to be using, some of the rub on transfer stickers, from dollar tree so i picked up two, different ones here i also grabbed some,of their craft paper it's just their, brown wrapping paper also going to be,using some string this one is from, dollar tree and then i will be needing, three hardcover books so dollar tree, does sell a bunch of hardcover books it,doesn't really matter what kind they are, because we're going to be covering up,the cover anyway but you just want a,nice book stack, the first thing i have to do is just, take that craft paper and wrap it around, those hardcover books just to basically, make my own dust jacket on the books we,will be adding some of these transfer, stickers to the binding area and i don't,want to ruin the books i just wanted, this to be a seasonal thing so this way,the book will be completely protected, and it gives it a nice neutral look i,ended up adding a little bit of tape to,the corners just to help the covers stay,on that book now that all three are, covered in that craft paper i'm going to,go ahead and grab my rub on transfer, letters so i went with these two, different ones here and i am going to be,using both so basically you just want to,pick a saying any saying at all that is,gonna have three words in it or if you, want something with four or five words, you can just add a couple more books to,your book stack so i'm going to be going, with all hallows eve another really fun,one is to do the words trick or treat or,if you want to go with a two book book, stack you could just do happy halloween,or hocus pocus,so all you have to do with your rub on,transfer letters is just cut out each, letter individually then you're going to,want to start from the last letter and, work your way backwards have them all,cut out you just want to peel that paper, backing off of your transfer letter and,it's going to be attached to that clear, plastic so then you just want to place, that onto the surface wherever you want,to transfer it and then apply some, pressure i'm just using a little tool, here but you can definitely just use, your fingernail and once you start to,apply pressure it's almost going to turn, gray a little bit and that way you'll,know it has transferred from the clear, plastic to the surface that you want it,to stick onto i actually ended up,removing the dust jacket from the book, just to make the process a little bit, easier and once i did that the process, did go quite fast so now that i have all,of my letters on my books the last thing,i want to do is just grab that string, and i cut a nice long piece i'm going to,wrap it around the books a couple of,times and then just tie it into a bow on,top, and here is how they turned out i love, this one because it is super versatile, and you can pick your favorite saying to,transfer onto any books, for this diy i'm going to be using some,of the table tennis balls from dollar, tree as well as some of the gingham, ribbon also this black ribbon here i did, also pick up the twine at dollar tree, and then i just had some black acrylic, paint on hand now the other thing you're,going to need for this is just some, scrap pieces of white fabric if you have,an old t-shirt that would also work for, this and sometimes dollar tree actually, does sell t-shirts that you can use the, fabric for for this diy so the first, thing i wanted to do was just cut my,fabric into squares and my squares ended,up being about seven and a half by seven, and a half inches now i'm going to take, those table tennis balls out and, basically what i want to do is just take, one put it in the center of my square, and then i'm going to wrap it around, that table tennis ball so we're making a,ghost here now to secure the head inside,of the fabric i'm just going to take, some of that black ribbon and tie it,into a bow, then i just trim the ends of the ribbon,so it was nice and even and then i,repeated this same process five more, times so i had a total of six ghosts, using that same black ribbon i'm going,to be cutting a small piece off and then, just tying it into a knot after i loop,it around so what i'm doing here is just, creating a loop that i can then hot glue,to the top of the ghost's head i want to,be able to string this on a banner and i,figured this was the easiest way to do,it,next i'm going to add some eyes to the, ghost by just taking the end of a,paintbrush and dipping it in that black, acrylic paint and then just adding it to,the fabric, the last thing i want to do is just take, that gingham ribbon and i'm going to be,cutting a couple of pieces just a few, inches long each and this is just going,to act as an accent piece in between, each of the ghosts so i'm going to take, that twine and i'm going to string one,of my ghosts on and then i'm going to,take that gingham ribbon and then just, tie it into a loose knot in between each,of the ghost and the reason i made it,loose was that way i could still adjust,it because when i hang it up i feel like, you always kind of have to adjust it to,make sure everything is nice and even, and here is how it turned out, next up we are going to be making, another garland so for this one i'm,going to be using these wood cut out, shapes from dollar tree so i went ahead, and picked up the jack-o-lantern as well,as the ghost but they do have some, really fun different shapes that you, could also use for this diy i'm also, going to be using some acrylic paints as,well as some twine from the dollar tree, the first thing i have to do is paint my,wood cutouts and for this one i,definitely was going for a bit of a,rustic halloween look so you will see, that i did add a little bit of brown to,my orange just to tone it down quite a,bit i do think this diy would be so fun, though if you used only pastel colors, and went for a very bright halloween, look so after i let that dry i just took, this large brush here dipped it into, some of that same brown paint and then, very lightly brushed over it almost, giving it a dry brush effect just to,give it that really worn in rustic look, use that same effect with the ghost so i,just took my paintbrush dipped it very, lightly into that brown paint made sure,to wipe most of it off and then very, lightly brushed over that white acrylic, ghost with that brown paint once, everything was dry i just took the small, strings that came with those wood, cutouts and i just looped them through, and tied them into a knot and then i cut,a long piece of twine and added my wood, cut outs and just made sure to rotate, the pattern, and here is how it turned out dollar, tree does also have a cat as well as a,witch hat in these same wood cutouts, which would work great for this diy, next i'm just going to quickly show you,how to make that other halloween banner, that you just saw in the last clip so,for this diy you're just going to need, these poster stickers from dollar tree,as well as that twine from dollar tree, that we've been using now the last thing, you will need are some book pages so if,you have an old book laying around or if,you want to thrift a book or pick one up,at dollar tree you can just cut out some,of the pages but if you don't want to do,that you can go ahead and just print, them out that's what i did here i just, went online printed out some book pages, that i could use for this diy and i did, print them out on card stock so it would,be a little bit sturdier once i trimmed, them all out i just took my scissors and, basically cut a small triangle out of,the bottom just to give it a bit of a,duck tail so it had a nice appearance, when it was hanging on the banner so,after i just did that first one i traced,it out and cut the rest,i just wanted my banner to say the word, halloween so i have nine book pages here,so now that everything is all cut out,i'm just going to take my letters and, start to apply them to my book pages, the last step is just to go ahead and,use my hole punch to create some holes,up top and then using that twine to,string it into a banner, and here's a closer look at how it,turned out if you have a large mantel i,think this would look so pretty if you, made two of them and kind of just, staggered them and did the words happy, halloween, for this next diy i picked up this mason, jar from dollar tree they do have a,couple of different ones this was just, the largest one i could find i'm also, going to be using more of those dollar, tree table tennis balls a sharpie marker, but you could just use black paint i,also will be using this gingham ribbon, from dollar tree and then you will be,needing a piece of white fabric so you,can even use an old t-shirt for this, dollar tree does actually sell a floor, duster that looks kind of similar to,this that could work as well and then, finally the last thing you're going to,need is either some clear fishing line, like this or just some thread so to get, started we're going to be making a ghost, exactly how we did before for that ghost, banner so i'm just taking a square piece,of fabric here putting one of those, table tennis balls inside making a,little head and then tying it off with,my black ribbon so next i'm just going,to be taking my sharpie marker and just, drawing on two eyes but you can, definitely just use some black acrylic, paint for this as well, next i'm going to be taking some of that, clear fishing line and just cutting a,small piece so now i'm going to take the,lid to my mason jar and just put a,little bit of hot glue and then attach, that line to it so basically this is,going to help make sure that our ghost, can be suspended in the jar and it's,going to kind of give it the appearance, that it's floating because you won't,really be able to see the fishing line,so once i had it attached to the ghost i,just put it back into the jar attached, the lid and then just as a really cute, decorative element i made this little, pet ghost in a jar tag this is actually,a free printable on my blog i'll leave, the link for that in the description box,of this video so i'm just going to go,ahead and take some of that gingham, ribbon and tie it around my jar and then, attach this little tag to it,this is a really fun activity to do with, kids or even at a halloween party or,maybe a school halloween party it's,pretty simple and kids just adore having, their own little pet ghost in a jar, this next diy is going to be another, really simple and easy one so i'm,starting off with this wood skeleton, that i picked up at the dollar tree now,i know sometimes dollar tree will have a,ton of those wood diy projects for the, holidays and they can just look a little, intimidating sometimes or just like, they're going to be a lot of work that, you really don't want to get into but i,just wanted to show you how fast this, one can be so all i did was just take, some white chalk paint cover the entire, front of it it doesn't have to be,perfect and then i went ahead and just, took some brown paint on a brush brushed, off most of it and then just went in to,add a couple of little accent pieces, like he was maybe in the graveyard and,had some dirt on him but it's just a,really fast and easy diy, this next one is my all-time favorite, dollar tree diy ever so i'm starting off, with these two wood cutouts from dollar, tree so it's the frankenstein as well as,his bride now the first thing i want to,do is just remove that twine at the top,and i want to fill those holes in so to,do that i'm just using some of the, lightweight spackling from dollar tree, now while that's drawing i'm going to,get started on my boards so i picked up,these three ones from dollar tree they, don't have to be this exact one they, have a ton of these long decor signs any,of these will work for this so to prep, these i just took out the string in the, back and then i just took a screwdriver, and removed those little staples next,i'm going to be hot gluing them to this, foam board that i picked up at the, dollar tree this is just going to,provide a really good base and you want,to make sure that you're getting quite a,bit of hot glue on there so everything,is nice and secure, now that all of my boards are glued down,i'm just going to be taking this cutting, knife here and just trimming off that, extra foam board, the next step is going to be painting my,boards so i want these just to be a nice, clean and neutral white color i'm going,to be using this white chalk paint here, this is my all-time favorite one i use, this constantly i'll leave it linked, down below it's just from amazon so now, that my boards are drying i'm going to,get started on painting my monsters and,i'm just going to be doing something, really simple so for the bride i just, painted her hair black with some black, chalk paint that i picked up at dollar, tree and i used that same exact paint, just to create some hair on the, frankenstein monster now for the bride i,wanted her skin tone to kind of have a,grayish look to it so i just mixed in a,little bit of black with some white, chalk paint and then for frankenstein i,mixed in some green acrylic paint with, that same white chalk paint now i'm just, going to go over his bolts with some, shiny silver paint next i'm going to,show you how you can make a frame for a,large pitcher like this using these five, gallon stir sticks from walmart so they, come in a pack of three and i believe, they're about two dollars and measure, them out to see how long i needed each, one to be for all four sides and now i'm,going to be using this wax paint to kind,of give it a stained wood look this is,one of my favorite tricks for getting, that look when you really don't want to,get the wood stain out it's really, simple i just got this one from amazon, now once i let that dry completely i,just went ahead and glued it around my,board to give it a frame and next i'm,going to be using some of these tumbling, tower blocks from dollar tree because i,want to give my monsters a 3d effect, because we want to add some lighting to,this sign so to do that i'm just going,to be using my hot glue to attach some,of these blocks to the back that way, when i hot glue it to my sign they have,a 3d effect the lighting element for, this sign is just going to be some of,the string lights from dollar tree so,you'll see here that i did glue my,blocks kind of in the center of the wood, that way i had a nice base area to wrap,my string lights around where it would, illuminate the entire face so once i had, those on i just hot glue them to my,board and these are the dollar tree, string lights you can usually find these,in their floral department and now to,attach it to my board i'm just going to,be using some command strips now you, could definitely hot glue these to the, back of the board but i figured that, this was an easy solution that way when,i want to take them off i can just pop, them off with that velcro and then put, them away for next year so once i had, them glued to the back i just went ahead, and wrapped my string lights around, those jenga blocks that were hiding, behind the monster that way i could kind,of illuminate the entire face pretty, easily, once i got to the end of my strand i,just tucked that little tail underneath,so you wouldn't see it peeking out and, here is the final result this one is,honestly my favorite because of the, sheer size of it but also at night it,looks so beautiful, this next diy is going to be another, super simple one that is definitely,kid-friendly and you can put together, with just a few pieces so the first, thing we're going to do is grab one of,these wood houses from dollar tree and,i'm going to be painting the entire, thing with the dollar tree black chalk, paint that i found in the crafter square, this is going to be the base of your, haunted house and now you can just, really have some fun with it and, decorate it however you want i used some,of the mini pumpkins and hay bales from, dollar tree just to add some really cute, elements to the front and then i found, these really fun stickers to just add, some characters, there are so many different ways you can, decorate these mini haunted houses and,you can even add a faux tea light behind,it to illuminate it next up i'm going to,be turning this dollar tree dish towel, into an accent pillow so they have a,bunch of different designs i just really, liked the haunted house on this one so,to get started i'm just going to go,ahead and trim off that extra white, border this is just going to be a small,no-sew accent pillow it's really simple, and you can do this with any of the dish, towels at dollar tree next i'm going to,start attaching the two pieces together, using my hot glue gun and just starting,on one side and working my way all the,way around but i do want to leave a,small gap at the bottom that way i can, turn it right side out and then fill it,with some poly fill once it was nice and, stuffed i just closed it up with some, more hot glue, and that is it it is so simple for a,more finished look you definitely could, sew this pillow but sometimes the hot, glue gun is just easier, next we're going to be creating a bunch,of crafts with a witch theme so the, first one is going to be this witch, potion bottle diy so i'm going to be,starting off with this sign this is,actually one of my favorite science, dollar trees ever done because these, witch bottles are really cool so the, first thing i want to do is make them, self standing so i did go ahead and cut, them off from that hanging sign that, they were attached to and next i'm just, going to be taking some of these wood, blocks from the tumbling tower game at,dollar tree and just gluing them on the, back on a little bit of a diagonal that, way they can stand up on their own, this next step is completely optional, but i really wanted to cover up that, hole so the way i'm going to do that is,just take some of this lightweight, spackling from dollar tree fill in that, hole let it dry then i'm going to sand,it down smooth and actually just repaint, that top portion of the bottle, you could just use something to cover it,up like a ribbon or even glue a plastic, spider to cover up that hole or just, leave them if you don't mind the look of,it and here is how they turned out these, are so great to incorporate into any, type of witch decor, next we are going to be creating a light,up which sign so i'm starting off with, this wood wicket sign from dollar tree,i'm also going to be needing another, sign from dollar tree the image on this, one does not matter because we're just, going to be painting over it anyway just, needs to be large enough to act as a,base for our wicked sign so now i want,to go ahead and just remove this paper, first this part is not really necessary, because you can just paint on the back,if you like but the paper on this one,did come off pretty easily so i figured,it would be just okay to go ahead and, peel it off and then repaint over that, side so i'm going to be using that same, white chalk paint that you guys have, been seeing me use throughout this, entire video this one does cover up,really quickly so i went ahead and just, did one full even coat and let that dry,now i'm going to get started on my,wicket sign so the first thing i'm going,to do is just remove that twine and i,want to fill in those holes so they're,not visible just taking a little bit of,the lightweight spackling from dollar, tree on my finger and then filling in,that hole i'm actually going to do the, same exact thing to this wood cutout of,the cat because that will be on our sign,so once that is completely dry i'm just, taking a sanding block and making sure,to stand it smooth and now we can get, started painting so i'm going to be,using the dollar tree black chalk paint, for this this one is usually in their, crafter square and i just did one even, coat over the entire wicket sign as well,as the cat, next i'm going to take three of these, wood blocks from the tumbling tower game, from dollar tree and i'm going to use, that same white chalk paint and just, paint them all white this is going to,help them camouflage into our sign so,now that everything is painted and dry,we can start assembling our sign so the, first thing i wanted to do was just add,the cat to the bottom right hand corner, and i do want my elements to have a 3d,effect on this sign since we will be,adding a lighting element so for the cat,i just glued one of those blocks on the, back and i'm going to be gluing him down, into that corner next i'm going to be,using my other two wood blocks to raise, the wicket sign,i actually wanted the wicket sign to be,a little bit higher up than the cat so,i'm gonna be gluing the block on its, side as opposed to just flat so i hope, that makes sense if you saw in the video, the way i glued the cat then you'll,definitely see how i'm gluing the blocks, here a little bit differently but it,just makes more sense when you see it as,opposed to me trying to explain it so i,just glued the one over by the eye in,wicked and the second one i'm going to,be gluing onto the e,and then now that i have my blocks, attached i'm just going to go ahead add, some more hot glue to those blocks and, attach it to my sign on a little bit of,a diagonal, now i think this sign looks really cool, just like this but it definitely takes,it to the next level when you add one of,these string lights from dollar tree, after i wrap my string lights around my,sign i will be securing that battery, pack to the back so i do want to leave a,little bit of extra line for that but, first i'm just going to go ahead take, that wire and i'm wrapping it right, around, the wicket sign in the back so it will,be hidden and i'm basically just using, those tumbling tower blocks as the, supports to wrap my wire around so now, that it was all the way wrapped around,i'm just going to be taking that battery, pack and you can just glue this to the, back of the sign just make sure you're,not gluing the part that comes off for,the batteries, but another option is just to use some,of these velcro command strips i like, these because that way if i want to,remove the lighting element it's super, easy to do so and i don't have to rip it,off with some glue and i could also, reuse these string lights for something, else,if you are like me and love all things, witchy especially around halloween time, this diy is definitely for you this one,is so pretty lit up at night time and if,you can actually find the string lights, with the timer that would work even, better for this diy, next up i'm just going to be showing you,a really simple and easy way to use, these wood diy pieces from dollar tree,so i picked up three of these bats and, then one of the witch hats so for all, four of them i am going to be covering,up that hole just like before so i'm,using a little bit of that lightweight, spackling from dollar tree filling in,the hole letting it dry completely and, then you just sand it smooth next i,painted all of them with this black, chalkboard paint from dollar tree,i'm actually going to leave the bats, just like this i think they look awesome, with that matte black color but i did, want the witch hat to have a little bit, more definition so i just took a sponge, brush with some silver paint and i'm,kind of just going over it in all, different areas it doesn't have to be,perfect it's kind of meant to look a,little bit more messy and now i'm just, taking this glitter spider from dollar, tree and hot gluing it to the front, and here is how they turned out i love, the witch hat styled with a candle and a,mini cauldron and for the bats i,actually attach them to my wall with, some command strips, next we are going to be creating some, witch potion bottles so i'm starting off, with these three jars from the dollar, tree i actually found this in their, kitchen area right by the plates and mug,to get started i'm just going to spray, paint the lid of these jars with this,semi-gloss black spray paint but i do,want to protect the seal so i'm just, going to cover that up first with some, painters tape and here is how they, turned out after all the lids were, painted so now i'm going to go ahead and, remove that painters tape and we are, ready to start filling up our jars i,picked up all of these at dollar tree, they had a bunch of different ones to,choose from but i decided to go with the, eyeballs the glitter spiders as well as,these mini skulls so now you can just go,ahead and fill up all of your jars, and for the final step i actually, created these labels for the jars and, these are a free printable on my blog,i'll leave the link for this down below,in the video description box so i'm just, going to go ahead and cut them out i did, print them out on cardstock so it would,be a little bit sturdier and now i'm,just going to be hot gluing them to the, front of my jars, now you have your own set of witch, potion bottles, next up we are going to be using these, color your own ornaments from dollar, tree so i picked up the cat and the, witch hat so to start off we are going,to be covering up that hole just like we,did with the previous craft so i'm,taking some of that lightweight, spackling from dollar tree filling in,the hole letting it dry completely and, then just sanding it smooth,so after all of these are sanded smooth,we're gonna grab some of these tumbling, tower blocks we're going to need one for, every two ornaments so i have four here, and basically we want to just paint, everything first i'm going in with that, same black chalk paint from dollar tree,i really do think it's a really good, quality one and it works really well so,once everything had that base color of,black i started to assemble them and to,assemble them i'm just hot gluing the, block onto one of the hats and then i,will be sandwiching it with another hat,on top and i'm going to do that same, process for the cats as well,we are creating mini wood decorative, elements that are great to use in any, small area so these are great on a,bookshelf or even in a tiered tray and, depending on which way you glue that, block in between the cats you can even, use this to display a name card for a,table setting so now after i had, everything assembled i got to decorating, this is the really fun part, and for this i decided just to use some, puffy paint that i had in this gold, color there are so many different ways, you can decorate these this is the time,to get really creative you can add some, fun embellishments to the front or even, some glitter this is another craft that,is great for kids you can just assemble, the wood parts beforehand and then let, them get super creative with the paint,or with the puffy paint in this case, here it's just a fun way for everyone to,create their own unique piece and here,is how they turned out,as soon as i saw this spider tray at,dollar tree i knew it could be something, really special i actually love this as,is they have it in this gold tone here, but they also do have it in silver and i,couldn't decide which one i liked more,so i did go ahead and pick up both i'm,going to be saving one just to use for, dips and sauces on my halloween table, for my halloween party but this one here,i will be using for a diy so the only, thing we're gonna be doing here is,transforming it with some paint and, trust me it's going to look so different,so i'm going to be using this gold spray, paint here this is my favorite gold, spray paint and i had a feeling it was, going to look so pretty once we had this, gold tone on it because it does have a,lot of different facets inside of the, spider body it almost looks like a,diamond it's just really beautiful, and here is how it turned out i think, that this looks so high-end it,definitely does not look like a dollar, tree item you can just use this as a,small trinket tray or as a really little, candy dish, this light up haunted house is another, one of my all-time favorites so i'm,starting off with two of these wood, cutouts from dollar tree and i'm also, going to be using some of these tumbling, tower blocks just like before i want to,cover up that hole up top so to do that,i'm just going to be removing the twine, getting some of that lightweight, spackling from dollar tree filling it in,letting it dry completely and then just, using a sanding block to sand it smooth, now these are all prepped for painting, and since we are going to be painting, quite a few pieces here i found that the, quickest way was just to use spray paint, you can definitely paint these by hand, but there are a lot of little pieces, here and it is quite time consuming so i,will just be using the semi-gloss black, spray paint and for this craft i did, need 45 of those tumbling tower blocks, and i did want to paint both sides so i,did a first coat here let it dry and, then i turned everything over to paint, the back side, here is how everything turned out after,it was all painted you can get really, fun and creative with the paint job here, and do maybe gold or purple but i just, went with this classic black color so,now i have to start assembling the, blocks to basically create a bottom for,our house as well as sides, for the base i hot glued 11 of these, blocks together so now i'm just going to,go ahead and add some more hot glue to,the sides and then attach the haunted, house, now to create the first sidewall i'm,going to be gluing 13 of these blocks, together, once you have all of these assembled, together you can just go ahead add some, hot glue to the sides and then carefully, wedge it in between those two haunted, houses, and then you can just go ahead and, repeat those same steps so hot glue 13,of those blocks together again to create, the other side wall for your haunted, house add some hot glue to the sides and, bottom and then wedge it in between, and with my last eight remaining blocks,i'm actually going to be creating a,front porch now i'm going to start off,by just hot gluing these together in,this way here but i'm actually not going,to be hot gluing this portion to the, haunted house after i did want to leave,it where it can kind of be detached that, way i could decorate with it or without, but if you want to leave your front, porch permanently attached to your house, once you assemble all eight blocks, together you can just hot glue that to,the front of the house, and now the last step before lighting up,our haunted house is just adding a,couple of decorative elements so i,picked up these mini hay bales as well,as these mini plush pumpkins from dollar, tree and i'm just hot gluing them to the, front porch, and now to light up our haunted house,i'm just going to be using some of these, string lights from dollar tree and these, ones are usually found in their floral, department dollar tree does actually, have a bunch of different string lights, for halloween though in purple and, orange colors which would look really, cool as well so here is how it turned, out and i actually am going to turn the, lights off so you can see how it looks,at night, similar to our spider tray we are just, going to be giving this skull a,transformation with this gold spray, paint this is going to completely, transform this plastic skull into a very, high end and luxurious looking decor, piece, and here is how it turned out it still, always amazes me how quickly some spray, paint can transform an item,we're going to be needing that same gold, spray paint for one more diy we are, going to be creating some faux taxidermy, with these bugs so i found these four, bugs actually in the toy section at,dollar tree and these four wooden, plaques were in the crafter square i,chose four different bugs so that way, they would each have a unique look but,by using the gold spray paint they will, still all look really uniform but first,i'm gonna get started with my plaques, and i'm gonna be painting all of them, with this black chalk paint from the, crafter square at dollar tree, next i took my bugs outside and gave, them all an even coat of the gold spray, paint and now to attach them to their, base i'm just going to be using some hot, glue i think these look so fun when you, hang them up on a wall and the easiest, way i actually found to attach them to a,wall is to just use some of the velcro, command strips i just picked these ones,up at target but i love them because, they allow you to hang them on the wall, where it's still hidden but it won't,cause any permanent damage when you want,to remove them after the holiday for, this diy i'm going to be using three, different dollar tree items the first is,this strand of wood beads from the, crafter square i'm also going to be,using some twine and the third thing, you're going to need are some halloween, felt shapes so i picked out the bats but, they do have a couple different options,to choose from finding wood beads at,dollar tree can kind of be hit or miss, depending on the store so i will leave, some options from amazon down below in,the description box that are still, affordable to get started i'm just going,to be taking three of those bats and i,want to create a hole on both sides of,them so we're going to be stringing, these on a banner so i just took my hole, punch and punched a hole on each side, next you're going to need a piece of,twine and what i like to actually do is,just create a little loop on the end and, then pull that through into a knot that, way when my banner is all done i have, two handy little loops on the end which, makes it really easy to hang up onto a,hook, and when i cut my twine i like to make, sure that it is at least 8 to 12 inches, longer than i want my finished banner to,be that way i have a little extra room,to work with in case i need to trim it,as i go,another helpful tip is just to put a,little bit of tape on the end as you're,putting your beads onto your strand it,just makes it a lot easier and it stops, the twine from frying so for this banner, here i used 15 wood beads and then i,added in one of my bats and then i,continued that pattern until i was all, done with my wood beads, and then when i reached the end i just, created another loop and then pulled, that through with a knot and trimmed off,the remaining twine and here is how it,turned out this diy can really fit into,a lot of different decor styles and it,definitely has a bit of a minimalist,high-end look to it and those are all,the diys that i have for you guys today,i hope that you enjoyed this halloween, compilation video and if you are not yet, subscribed please do consider, subscribing i have a ton of new videos,on the Dollar Tree DIY Halloween Decor to make you Scream! 🙀

Dollar Tree DIY Halloween Decor to make you Scream! 🙀

hey everyone welcome back today i have, some more fun cute and spooky dollar, tree halloween diys in this video if you,are new here and you like home decor and, diys on a budget make sure to stick, around by hitting that subscribe button, and ringing the bell for notifications, before you leave so you never miss out,on a new video all right now let's get, into all of the halloween diys, for this first diy i'm going to use one,of these wooden skeletons from dollar, tree that's kind of a posable skeleton, his arms and legs and head move around, because they're connected to the body, with some rings so the first thing i am,going to do is just paint the front of,this skeleton with some white chalk, paint i just did one coat because i,didn't want it to be,um completely white i didn't mind if,some of the wood grain, showed through, and looked a little more, distressed so i painted that white and, then i set that aside to let that dry, while the skeleton was drying i took, four of these black 8x10 canvases from, dollar tree and i'm just going to hot, glue all of them together,um and make kind of like a bigger, canvas out of them i hot glued them, together they were a little flimsy so i,turned a brown on the back added some, more hot glue and then i took my staple, gun and i stapled in between the picture, frames to hold it together some more to,make it more sturdy then all i did was, take my skeleton and i put him in the, middle of my picture frame and then i,hot glued him down to the picture frame, making sure that each one of the limbs, were in each one of the pictures, and posed them just however i wanted to,pose them,i think this would be really cute if you,had three of these and all three of the, skeletons were in different poses i,think this turned out adorable for, halloween and i love the black and white, theme this year that i'm going for so,it's perfect,so this next diy is a grandin road dupe,i love this broomstick three-tiered,serving tray but i don't love the price,so i went to dollar tree and i picked up,a brand new plunger and that's going to,be the base of my tray i just took the, plunger apart and then i need to weight, the bottom of the plunger down so that, way it doesn't move around a lot so i,just had these gems so i placed them, inside the bottom of the plunger and i,used some duct tape to secure them in i,just cut around the edges of the duct, tape and then i flipped the plunger over, and i used a box cutter to go around the, outside just to clean up the edges of,that duct tape to make sure it looked, nicer and then i took the handle and i,just cut it in half with my saw and then,i am going to paint all, these pieces with some black chalk paint,to make everything look cohesive and, nice, and then i just let that dry, once all of those pieces were dry it was, time to assemble everything i place the, screw part of the handle inside the, plunger and screw that down, and then i have these glittery, picks from dollar tree and i am just, going to place those around the handle,of the plunger,as my,um bottom of my broom so i took some, wire cutters and i just cut off some of,the excess uh bottoms of the glittery, picks so that that way they weren't,sticking up over the handle because you, want to make sure when you hot glue the, picks around the handle that they're,even with that top there,so that way you can put your tray on top,and all i did was alternate the colors,as i went around and i just hot glued a,layer of the glittery picks and then i,came back in,and layered another layer on top of that,to,cover up any gaps,i used 13 pics in all to cover up around, the broom handle and cover that base i,think that was the perfect amount to,make sure everything was covered and, filled in,and then you could use whatever colors, you would like i used the three, different colors but,you could use uh you know two or just, one it's just whatever your preference,or whatever you can find at dollar tree, and if you look down at the bottom,left-hand corner of my screen you can,see my cat she's peeking in on me,wanting to help with my diys she's,always around trying to help out with, the yarn and the string and the floral, picks she loves it,um and next all i'm gonna do is take, some twine and i'm gonna wrap that, around the top there just to kind of,gather up,those uh picks to make sure that they, really do fill in that gap and make it,look more like a broomstick um and then,i just trimmed up the bottom of those, glittery picks with my scissors to make, everything even next i'm going to use, these plates i picked up from dollar, tree i love the look of them i really do,think they're perfect for halloween and, perfect for this diy i'm just going to,attach the bigger dinner plate to this, bottom handle as my first tier, and i'm just using hot glue but i,definitely recommend using e6000 or some, super glue because i know the hot glue, won't last long and then i just attached, the other handle and then the other, plate and the other handle and that was,it i love how this turned out i spent, around twenty dollars which is a lot, less than the grandin road one and i,think it turned out just as perfect and,i didn't have any time to bake some, halloween cupcakes but i think that, would look super cute on this, for this next diy i wanted to use this, galvanized pie plate from dollar tree i,just cut off the, twine to hang it because i'm not going,to hang it,i am going to spray paint it with some, black spray paint from walmart, and then i'm going to use three of these, skulls from dollar tree,i love them they're really nice high, quality they also have black ones i,chose the white one i'm just gonna hot, glue them together,at the base of their heads so that they, form a circle and then i'm gonna hot, glue the,pie plate on top of that to create a,candle holder and i think this turned, out perfect it's super simple, elegant a halloween decor,um and really cheap to make and i love, how it perfectly holds the bath and body, works the candles it's definitely, perfect for halloween, for this diy i'm going to make a candy, corn wreath i got a 14 inch wire wreath, form from dollar tree and then i picked,up three different colors of yarn that, resemble candy corn so i'm starting off, with the yellow color and i'm just hot, gluing that to the back of the wreath, and then i'm wrapping two of the, sections, with that yellow color and then when i,come to the end i just hot glue that, yarn on the back of the,now for the next color the burnt orange,i am going to just wrap that in the, section right next to the yellow color, and again just starting off by hot, gluing it and then ending it and hot, gluing it there and then i also wrapped, the section right across from the other, burnt orange section that i just wrapped, and i again just hot glued it at the end, when i was done and then the last two, sections that are across from the yellow, section i wrapped that in the white yarn, now i'm not gonna lie this was tedious, and this did take about an hour to wrap, this whole wreath um but i just put on a,good show and got it done, and then i decided it needed a bow so i,had this black tool from dollar tree so,i just made a regular simple bow and, then i also had some of this black satin, ribbon that i just made a simple bow, with and i hot glued that on top of the, tool bow and then i hot glued both those, bows on top of the white of the wreath i,still thought the wreath needed a little, bit of something to make it look more, halloweeny so i grabbed these clip-on,bats that were from dollar tree and i,clipped them around the wreath and i,think this turned out, really cute i don't actually like the, candy corn candy, but this wreath is really cute candy, corn inspired, for this last diy it's kind of spooky, and goofy at the same time i used this, dollar tree styrofoam skeleton head and,i am going to take one of these led, battery operated candles and i just, traced the bottom of it on top of the,top of the head of the skeleton and then,i'm just using a box cutter and i am,taking most of the styrofoam out and, cutting a circle in top of the head so,that that way,uh the candle fits nicely inside of the, head, and then i'm gonna take the candle and,i'm going to add some hot glue at the,top of it so that way it looks like the, candle is dripping,uh wax down it,so i just squirted the hot glue on the,top and then let it drip as much as it,could and then i just filled in the gaps, with some more hot glue, and then, the, whole skeleton head and the candle, didn't stand up that great after that, was done so i needed a base for it so i,just took one of these wood pieces from, dollar tree and i hot glued the skeleton, head and candle uh to that wood base and, then i gave everything a coat of black, chalk paint,um so that it was all covered once the, chalk paint was dry i did come back in,and i used a little bit of red chalk, paint,to,paint the dripping wax in red and the, inside of the candle red also so that it,looked like it was dripping blood, totally optional i just did this for, more of a spooky effect um and then, lastly i took these eyeballs they're,light up eyeballs they're supposed to go,in jack-o'-lanterns but they're operated, just pull them out and turn them on and,off and i just put them right inside the, skull and i love how this turned out,he's goofy and fun,and it makes it not so spooky for, halloween but just a little bit of a,spooky effect with the, blood dripping from the candle, thank you all so much for watching today,i hope you enjoyed this video and all, these halloween diys make sure to give, this video a thumbs up and i'll see you, guys in the next one take care bye

20 Dollar Tree Fall DIYs that DON'T LOOK CHEAP!

20 Dollar Tree Fall DIYs that DON'T LOOK CHEAP!

hey it's megan welcome back to another, dollar tree video this time i'm sharing,20 ways you can decorate for fall using, dollar tree supplies, all these diys are easy to do they're,budget friendly and they look great and, with all that said we're getting started, right now,for this first idea all you have to do,is go to dollar tree and pick up a pack,of their fall table scatter or harvest, decor these are little pumpkins they, come in a pack of 12 and then if you, grab any one of dollar tree's glass, containers you can hot glue your pumpkin,to the lid optional add a bow,and that is it you can paint these lids, whatever color your heart desires this, works great for coffee candy hot cocoa, this even works great for halloween the, only thing i do want to mention is make, sure if you are going to put food in,these don't spray the inside of the lid, only the outside that doesn't get, touched by the actual jar or food but,the fun doesn't stop there you can also, use any candle with a lid that you, already have on hand so any everyday, candle and do the same thing for just a,subtle fall decor add it to your home, you don't have to move anything around, use something like a candle that you, already have and add a bit of fall touch,to it,if you're wanting some easy outdoor fall, decor well then i think this next idea,is for you all you have to do is pick up,your first or last initial from dollar, tree and if you cannot find your first, last initial at dollar tree check, walmart they also sell the same size, letters which is two and a half to three, inches for a very similar price grab one,of dollar tree's metal garden stakes all,you gotta do is glue that letter to the, middle of that steak now these steaks do,come with a raffia bow already glued to,it or is it raffia raffia raffia i don't,know i say raffia but if i'm wrong, correct me in the comments some words, you only read and you don't know exactly, how to say them anyways pull that bow,off and you can layer it up with a,ribbon of your choice and i think this, makes a beautiful outdoor garden steak, this is the one i made for myself i,really love traditional fall colors i,can't get away from like the burnt, oranges and the browns and the creams, but,we do have another option my friends you,can also do the same thing using dollar, tree's rub on transfer letters you can, spell out your entire last name or write, the word welcome the smith family, whatever your heart desires you can, spell out,a word using the rub on transfer letters,i did everything the same with this diy,the only difference is i sealed it with, clear spray paint to keep the rub on,transfer letters from rubbing off and i,hot glued a pine cone to the middle i,made this one for my neighbor she loved,it she has more of that neutral fall, style and i love that she loved it but,if you're looking for something that is,more, you can use it year round more, functional i guess i'll say then this, diy is for you all you need to do is,pick up one of dollar tree's garden, dishes pick up some strong hold glue, like gel super glue and any one of,dollar trees planters glue those, together and then paint that the color,of your choice, after that you're pretty much done i,mean you can use this year round but for, fall let's snazz this up with a few fall, florals and then add a glass hurricane, vase to the middle and call it a day now,i love this diy i will use this diy and,i have used these diys year round i,think it's even better if you want to,make two of them one shorter than the, other for the shorter one i used an old, candle jar that was emptied out i washed,it out and hot glued that to the bottom, and this is a beautiful centerpiece you, could also do this with pumpkins or for,the non-fall seasons just use everyday, florals or fill it with some type of,decorative balls i love this diy, this will be no shocker to you if you, have watched my channel before number, four is going to be a wreath but it's,the easiest wreath you could ever make i,love me a good wreath especially a nice, beautiful wreath that's easy to make you, just need 10 to 15,of dollar trees branches the amount you, need will depend on the style you pick,up and then you're going to stab that, into one of their willow wreaths,no hot glue is needed for this diy just, make sure you fluff your wreath i,promise you it makes the world of a,difference, and there you go within five ten minutes, you have a beautiful fall wreath and for, this wreath i mocked it after a wreath i,saw kirklands for like 59,they had a forsythia wreath i think, mines look really similar for less than,20.,this idea is my most proud diy i made, for fall, because of the way it turns out so just, snatch up one of dollar trees at clear, glass coffee mugs glue a wick to the, middle and then snatch up some of their, pumpkin spice and while you're there go,ahead and pick up two to three white, candles, now if you're like me and you have a,bunch of almost burnt down candles at,home you can skip that last step and, just use the candles you already have as,long as they're a whiter cream color, fill up your mug three fourths of the,way full with white wax and then while, that's cooling, take the remaining wax and add a,boatload of pumpkin spice, the pumpkin spice is going to make your, wax a brown cream color it's also going,to make your entire home smell amazing i,promise you and then for looks you're,going to add a little bit of pumpkin, spice to the top and that is it easy, peasy lemon squeezy we are finished,i was so happy with the way this candle, turned out i'm still happy with the way, this candle turned out not only does it,look awesome it smells amazing and i'm,really proud how close i came to my,inspiration coffees so if you're,wondering here are the two screenshots i,took on my phone of inspiration coffees,i wanted to recreate i love the way this, turned out,a lot of times dollar tree will sell, like really cheap decor that i feel like, gets looked over or not bought except, for very special occasions the luau, skirts are one of those items those are, great for fall so pick up a luau skirt a,pack of their decorative corn and then, two to three fall picks by the way,if dollar tree doesn't have what you're,looking for a lot of times walmart's,just the better price anyway so check, out walmart okay, then cut off a piece of your luau skirt, tie that into a loop so you still have, like a whole bunch of luau skirt to use,for fall instead of hot glue i suggest, using zip ties to connect everything, together for this diy because the corn, pieces are super heavy so we're making a,false swag that you can use indoors or,outdoors you can use it under your, lamppost and to hang it you can use one,of dollar tree's garden hooks and then, loop that through the loopy tie at the, beginning, and it works just fine but this would, also work great if you want to use this, instead of a wreath for your outdoor, front door of course your outdoor front, door and for your outdoor spaces but, this is customizable so if you don't,like the colors change it up that's the,fun thing about diys you can make it,exactly how you want it in the colors, that you want, the tumbling tower game sold at dollar, tree i feel like it's a lot of hate in,the diy community because a lot of diys,i'm guilty of this that have been made, out of these tumbling tower games can be,made cheaper and easier just buying wood, for like two dollars at home depot this,is not one of those diys i want to add,you just need one pack of tumbling tower, games glue, two of their jinga pieces together using, wood glue and you're gonna make the, letters f,l,l,you will have a bunch of,tumbling tower game pieces left over so,you could even make your letters larger,if you wanted to then use tacky glue mod, podge or you could even use wood glue to,attach fabric to the top of your wood, pieces so they don't look like tumbling, tower pieces glued together so i used, burlap ribbon from dollar tree and this,is what that looked like for my a,because if you haven't guessed we're,spelling the word fall i used one of,dt's leaf cutouts and to hang this, outside i used their strong permanent, mounting tape this stayed up all season,in fact to remove it i had to use goo, gone which it wasn't too hard a little, bit elbow grease we are good to go and i,love the way this looks now if you are a,skilled carpenter you could definitely, make this easier with some wood cutting, tools the fll but i think for the, everyday crafter using the tumbling, tower game totally makes sense, this next idea is beautiful and it can,be used in so many ways pick up some, dollar trees leaves i suggest maple, leaves because they're fuller and more, thick you'll get more bang for your buck, and then paint them gold i'm using spray, paint you don't have to use spray paint,in fact acrylic paint works for this you, just need to give one, thin coat you want the oranges and the, reds to still slightly show through then, pick up one of dollar tree's wreath, forms cut that down you're going to be,using the smallest center ring, you only need,7 to 11 at max of dollar trees, leaf picks and you're gonna place that, around your ring and then once you have,it in place kind of visually where you, want it use some floral tape to tape it,all together once again make sure you, fluff your wreath and bada bing bada, boom we have a gorgeous,high-class looking wreath now my,inspiration for this was from target i,saw a golden wreath with different kind,of oranges and red undertones i loved, the way it looked so i made one myself, and the time i made this it only cost me,12 dollars i know dollar tree prices, have went up i'm not great at math so it,would still be under,16 but feel free to correct me in the, comments if i'm wrong, okay y'all, this is something that can be this, technique can be used year-round and i,love the way it turned out so last year, when i was looking for fall tablescapes,i went to google images searched all, kinds of beautiful fall table scapes got, some great inspiration the only thing i,wasn't digging, was how many items were down the middle,of the table we use our dining room, table and moving everything to eat just, sounded like the opposite of a good time,to me so to fix that you just need to,pick up two of dollar trees beware signs,or any one of their larger mdf signs, glue those together with some craft, sticks pick up some pop sticker tape, from dollar tree and then a few, fall florals you can use dollar tree, pumpkins or walmart's 98 smaller, pumpkins but i just want to let you know, for this diy the finished product i did,use walmart's six dollar pumpkins these, have been the same price and i'm hoping, they're the same price this year but, they've been like 598 for the past three,or four years and i have about 12 of,them that i use all throughout my home, every single year and i love them now,the point of this is use the pop tape so,nothing is permanent but it's a strong, enough hold to where you can move your, centerpiece if you need to clean your, table or if you need to eat around your, table and then you're not ruining, the items you have so next year i can, change out or this year i can change out,the floral leaves if i want to where i,can rearrange the pumpkins if i want to,and it's just so much more practical to,me it's one of my favorite diy, decorating tips hack ideas and i love, the way it turned out,and if you're still here you're the real, mvp you've also made it number 10 which, means we are halfway through this video, now for this diy you only need the, smallest piece of a pool noodle which, can be found at dollar tree or walmart, walmart's usually cheaper and also check, out dollar general than a planter you're,going to cut your pool noodle down to,the size of your planter hot glue the, pool noodle to the bottom of your, planter then you want to grab about, eight, floral picks or leaf picks from dollar, tree and then also while you're there go,ahead and snatch up a toy foam ball this,is not the inflatable ball so you cannot, pop this ball it's squishy if you poke,it with a barbecue skewer it's not going,to pop paint that the same color as your, leaf picks or about the same color so,the leaf stems are roughly like a gray, black color so paint them that color, glue that ball to the top of the pool, noodle and then cut down, all the pieces of your leaf picks you're,going to start stabbing your leaf picks, into your toy foam ball you're going to,put them about an inch and a half to all,the way up to two inches apart so when, you're putting this together i do want,to let you know it's going to seem like, you need more floral picks you don't,just step back because from a distance, you won't be able to see the holes so,right now i'm about i don't know six to,eight inches away from this fall topiary, and you can't see holes but when you, step back, you can't and if you're wondering why we,painted the ball black and not pink or,white it's because you want to match the, stems it gives it more dimension, sometimes dollar tree will sell items, that are almost nice looking kind of,like this leaf bowl i like the shape not, digging the color, but a quick coat of paint will change, almost anything in fact it makes a,drastic change paint it whatever color, goes with your style i like matte black,or even a gloss paint black and it looks, amazing use it as a candy bowl or a,little trinket decorative dish pottery, barn will sell the same thing for about, thirty dollars and this is so much, cheaper, every year dollar tree sells these, create your own ornament cut out, sometimes they're in eight packs or five, packs these are a staple at dollar tree,a simple way to use these is also pick,up a shadow box from the old ut and then, paint your leaf the same color or a,coordinating color to your shadow box,hot glue that to the middle and with, under five minutes you have a,brand new fall diy decor,a diy that doesn't look like a diy hobby, lobby and target will sell this for like, six dollars but if you buy those leaf, pieces from dollar tree you can make, that and you have a bunch of pieces left, over so with your leftover create your, own ornament pieces you can sketch your, initial and then add that to some beaded, garland or string up some beads to make,a tassel or a bookmark and i think the, most obvious way to use your leaf pieces,is to make a garland which i think is a,no fail idea i did this a few years ago,i use this leaf garland every year i,love the way it looks, window clings at dollar tree are a,staple they sell these for christmas or,fall,or summer time they sell them pretty, much for every season and every holiday, now the great thing about window clings,is they'll stick to anything that has a,smooth surface with just a little bit of,water and when you put it on you cannot, tell where your item ends and the window, cling begins, and another great thing is these are not, stickers so just in case you didn't know, these do not have a sticky adhesive on,the back so it's a no mess pull off you,can use anything you already have within, your home so candles or coffee mugs or,charger plates salt and pepper shakers, utensil holders you can turn anything, into a seasonal item or a fall item with,no mess and pretty much no money for a,dollar 25 you can turn everything into a,fall decor piece there's also a bunch of,really cool diys on youtube from other,diy-ers where they use those window, clings in very creative and cool ways, decorating for fall does not mean, decorating with pumpkins and leaves you,can decorate for fall just by using fall, colors and a simple way to do that is,just to pick up two glass bowls glue, those together using gel super glue or,e6000 paint your bowls a base color i,chose cream or off-white and then you, want to tape off the top and paint that,a fall color color,i can't speak forgive me a fall color so,like brown or orange or whatever your, fall color scheme is paint it that color, and that's it then just like in one of,the first diys you can add some wicks, and you can add some wax and now you, have a nice fall candle another option,is to pick up some of walmart stone, spray paint this spray paint is a little, pricey but one can will last you forever,i picked up this can over a year ago i'm,still using it you only need to do two,or three quick sprays per project and it,has a great effect so i made two of,these candles one i used brown on the,top and the other i used orange i also, used two heights of candles just because,i like that different height the way it,looks, this screams fall to me without, screaming, fall with pumpkins or,words that say fall you know what i'm,saying i love the way this looks, now while we're on the topic of,decorating for fall without screaming, fall with pumpkins or words,if you want a high-end look, and you want to use dollar tree products, which can be an oxymoron i know pick, three to five colors and then pick up,those colors with your favorite paint so,i like spray paint i use spray paint you,can hand paint the moral of the story is,use whatever paint your heart desires, but you can use dollar tree pumpkins or,walmart pumpkins or any cheap item that, you find at dollar tree or walmart, that's almost perfect or you like the, shape but not the color or even if you, find some pumpkins that you do love the, color, painting them, three to five colors, will make a world of a difference a,cohesive color scheme really elevates, the look especially with dollar tree, smaller pumpkins for vase fillers or you,can put them in a decorative bowl fill,up some hurricane vases or jars or a,dough bowl to make as a centerpiece this, really looks high-end and it's very low, cost, now this next idea is something i've,seen on tik tok you may have seen it too,and i had to try it out just grab one of,these trick-or-treat puppets i i guess, they are trick-or-treat bins, the cheap plastic, pumpkin buckets cut out just the back, part, and then you want to fit the top to,match your outdoor light so i went, outside and kind of twisted the handle,so it would ideally fit over my light, zip tied that hot glued it put it over,my light to make sure it would have a,snug fit and then i'm going to be,totally honest during the day i was very, underwhelmed i mean it was nothing to,look at while the sun was still out but,at night, this was amazing i loved the way it,looked so what i ended up doing was only, putting this out at night and this is,perfect for trick-or-treaters to let, them know i'm still open for business i,still have candy,if you're someone who is really into, halloween ideas i mean this could use be,used for fall too pick up two to three,of these smaller ornaments what you're,going to do is you're going to cut the,top off where you would hang the, ornament and then you want to use your, hot glue gun and that's hot enough to,melt through the bottom so we kind of,made it into a bead or we did make this, into a bead do that to all your little, ornaments then pick up a larger, embroidery needle or maybe a hair sew in,needle string up some twine or yarn and, you're going to make a garland set that,to the side, then go ahead and snatch up some of,crafter squares bats and while you're at,the old dt go ahead and snatch up some,of their foam mounting tape and a creepy, cloth now the foam mounting tape is a,great way to hang anything indoors or,outdoors on your walls in my opinion i,love it it's super glue brand tape and,so i think it works amazing and you can, throw all this together on your mantel,or you can do this outside i threw a,halloween party last year loved the way, this looked but i do know a lot of,people will decorate for halloween more, than just party or i do decorate, outdoors so that'll work great outdoors, too just the same this next idea is it's,something else that can be used for fall,or for halloween grab a wreath form, spray paint it black and pick up only, five of their halloween branches the, black halloween branches, they do sell these branches for fall so,let's say you picked up the fall, branches and they come in maroon or,burgundy, orange or brown you would paint your, wreath that same color too and then just, like the first wreath we made in this, video,no hot glue is needed just stab it into, your wreath form and that's it my friend,i made another one actually made two so,i made one for me and one for another, neighbor she wanted a bow i added a bow, both are cute i love the simple, whimsical type of wreaths that's my jam,if you're a regular dollar tree shopper, you've probably heard or seen the, coveted, doormats for fall or christmas these are, great in theory but they are so wimpy in,reality they're very small i love the,way they look they just need that extra, oomph and to give them that all you have,to do is pick up two more of dollar, trees doormats they can be their, everyday doormats it doesn't matter what, they say on the front they just need to,match on the back duct tape them, together and then you can add some, doormat grip or i like to use shelf, liner it's cheaper and it works just the, same hot glue that on the front which is,now our back now for this door mat i,just used duct tape and taped, vertical yeah vertical lines all the way, down and then spray painted that to give,a striped type of look that's it this is,what it looks like when it's done easy, peasy lemon squeezy so here's our, doormat before here it is after but the, cool thing is look y'all this door mat,or underlayment doormat can be used,year-round so if you already have a fall, door mat or an everyday doormat do this, this works great i made this last year, and i actually haven't changed it out, since i have removed the pumpkins but i,didn't change like the welcome part, and you've made it number 20 where we,are making a really cool trick-or-treat,bag slash halloween door hanger it works, for both pick up one of dollar tree's,trick or treat bags and some of their, witch's feet cut that from the ring that,it comes with and then stuff that with a,pool noodle or even plastic, you know trash bags or plastic grocery, bags you'll get from kroger or walmart, just something to fill it up then hot, glue that to the bottom bada bing bada, boom you have the coolest,trick-or-treat bag on the street, for your child or for yourself,my grandma funny story not funny story, but nostalgic story my grandma actually, made some of these kind of similar for,my sister and i we love them i still, have mine but mine's personalized she, stitched my name into it now if you want,to make something more for a door hanger, you can do the same idea with some of,their trick or treat bags and then pick,up some of their mesh halloween ribbon, tie your mesh ribbon to,one strand,of mesh ribbon or yarn or anything it,doesn't really matter and then tie that, strand that you tied all the other, strands to,to your bag,i'm not sure my words made sense i know, you saw what i was doing this would also,be a really cool trick-or-treat bag or a,really cool door hanger now just because, this video is over doesn't mean the fall, fun has to be over in fact i have an,entire fall playlist on my channel and,if you have not seen my top 20 fall diys, from last year i'll have that linked in,the description below now if you're,still here you are the for real for real, real mvp you're amazing i love you thank, you so much for watching second of all,if you're still here go ahead let me,know what do you want to see this fall, what type of diys are you into you can, even let me know what you want to see, this christmas i'm interested to know, thank you so much for watching and i,will catch you next time my friend

DIY HALLOWEEN DECOR You ACTUALLY Want to Create! 🎃 Dollar Tree Home Decor Ideas!

hey guys welcome back to my channel it,is drew here from alone fox,and today we have a super super exciting, video because if you guys did not know, halloween is probably one of my absolute, favorite holidays,i think it's one of the most nostalgic, ones for me for some reason it's the one, that i can remember the most of and it's,like the ones that i have the best, memories of i just really really love, the month of october for some reason so,this month for me is really really, exciting and,i asked you guys over on instagram and,on my youtube community tab if you, wanted to see a halloween, decor diy video and some people were, like yes please please please do it and,i too myself was like i've never done a,halloween diy video so let's go ahead, and do that for you guys, today and if you are not already make, sure to subscribe to my channel it is,100 free click that little red subscribe, button down below and also click the, bell icon next to it that way you are, notified every time that i upload a,brand new video which is normally about, twice a week so you don't want to miss, out on a really fun loan fox content so,today i'm gonna be doing, five diy halloween decor ideas and i,feel like a lot of the times you can go,to the stores and you can buy a generic, kind of cheesy halloween decor that's,scary whatever it might be i'm sure a,lot of you guys know exactly what stores, offer during halloween time however it,is really hard to find aesthetically, pleasing really really cute halloween, decor for your space if you do like that, more elevated look and that is exactly, what i want to give you guys today and, last but not least don't forget to,follow me over on instagram it is lone, fox home it's really really fun over, there and you can also check out my,online store it is lonefox.com,where i sell home goods and diy supplies, there's actually currently a promotion, running right now get 10,off using code autumn at checkout but, let's jump into these really cute, halloween diy, decor ideas, already guys so jumping into our first, project here we are going to be using, two glass faces from the dollar store, and i'm also going to be using a ton of,hot glue the supplies for this project, are super minimal but we will be needing,a lot of hot glue so make sure you have, some spare sticks on hand so what we're,going to be doing is actually creating a,faux drip texture to the top exterior,of this vase here which then is going to,be painted over and kind of looks like a,dripping, candle in a scent so i'm going around, and using my hot glue,to create these drips you can actually, just apply a lot of it and kind of let,it run down itself,or you can create them if you kind of,hold it horizontally to your table and, this is what it should look like when, you're completely done adding those, drips on there, and you're going to be repeating the, process on your second base or your, third base however many you want to,create and this is what both of mine, ended up looking like, however once you add your first layer i,think it's really nice to go in and add,a second and even a third layer on top,of your drips, that way it looks like the wax has been, building up over time and it just looks,a little bit more realistic,i found these packs of holiday votives, and they had battery operated tea lights,in them so i pulled those to the side, and i'm going to be using a bit of matte, black spray paint which i'm just going,to spray into the lid and then paint, onto all of the white portions of this, tealight candle that way it blends in,with our final candle once it is,completely done, just make sure not to paint the flame of,course, once those are all done i grabbed a,couple of popsicle sticks and i'm going,to be cutting these down to be the, interior width of,our vase so i cut off one end then i'm,measuring it and kind of cutting off the, second end and this is going to fit, perfectly on the inside and we're,basically creating like a little, pedestal for a tea light to sit on,because,i want to elevate it towards the top as,opposed of having it towards the bottom, there so our tea light will sit on there, nicely and i'm going to repeat the same, process to the second vase, and once you're all done with that these, are ready for a coat of spray paint so,bring them outside and give a generous, coat of matte black spray paint making, sure to hit,all the little crevices all the cracks, and that really finishes off these, tealight holders they're super cute, and also very modern at the same time,i'm pretty sure you guys all know by now, that i love a good wreath whether it is,christmas time, fall time summertime whatever it is i,always create a themed wreath so we're,going to be doing a halloween one today,so i found these really great kind of,like tree branch style, stems at joann's fabrics in the, christmas section and i got them for 50,off and i brought them outside and i'm,going to be again giving them a nice, coat of black spray paint making sure to,honestly give them like a double coat, because, you're going to want to hide all that, glitter however the glitter on the, underside creates a really fun texture,so,this is what they look like once they're,all dried and i'm going to be using, three of these ones that were previously, silver as kind of the base for my wreath, and then i'm gonna add, more as i go so i'm gonna curve all, three of them around and kind of place, them around the exterior rim and by the,way guys this wreath form that i'm using,is from the dollar tree,in order to secure down my first layer,on any wreath i really like to use wire, and i add a couple pieces of wire on,each stem just to make sure that it's,fastened, securely to the base as opposed to hot, glue because sometimes hot glue can come, free,i like gluing on top of my first layer, but my first layer is always wired down,so i wire down all of these pieces using,a little bit of a thin wire that i found,in the floral section at michael's,so that's what i'm doing here, this is looking awesome so far but i do,want to make it just a little bit more, full so with my other stems i kind of,look a little bit more like tree, branches which i love i think these, really really elevated the look and just, filled it in,i'm going to be kind of picking them off,and cutting them at different lengths, and sizes, just to fill in any section that i feel, like needs a little bit more fullness, and this, really is going to elevate your wreath, and just make it look a lot more, expensive, and overall just make it appear a lot, prettier if you guys know what i'm,talking about so that finishes off this, wreath you can get another coat of spray, paint if you feel like you need to,but i'm really excited with how this, piece turned out,now i know not everybody is into those, scary halloween decorations so this is a,super super, cute alternative option if you just want,to add a little bit of holiday cheer to,your home,so i'm going to start off by grabbing a,couple pieces of holiday fabric these, are actually fat quarters from joanne's,fabrics,so i got these in a couple variating, colors just in oranges and blacks to,make a nice pretty aesthetic in the end,and i'm going to be cutting them down to,nine inch by nine inch squares these are, going to be for the smaller styrofoam, balls, and then the larger squares are going to,be about 13 inches by 13 inches and, those are for our larger styrofoam balls,to create the little ghost all i'm doing,is adding a bit of hot glue placing it,down on the wrong side of the fabric and, then adding more glue around the, styrofoam ball and, literally just overlaying it on top and, pulling the fabric, down now you can totally go ahead and,add a string and kind of tighten it as,you would for a tassel however i didn't,want it to have that like cinched, look where it kind of comes in on the, tassel you know i wanted the fabric more,so to look like it's flowing and just, falling off of a circular shape so this,is kind of like the head of the ghost if,you will and then everything's kind of,falling downwards,is more so i guess the ghost's clothing,i don't really know what you call this, part of the ghost to go spotty, but um i'm just going around adding hot, glue and just pulling the fabric down, you kind of want to let gravity do its, thing and just let the fabric fall and, then, glue it and then pull it down and let it,fall into place and then once you're,done, you're pretty much done that's how, you're gonna be creating these ghosts is,super super simple but i created i think, about nine of them, now that we have all of our ghosts it is,time to string them onto a string to,create the garland so i got an,embroidery needle and some string and,i'm just going to kind of just, pick at the top of the fabric and go,through just a tiny little piece there, and then tie it into a single knot right,on top to secure that ghost, into place and in between each of the, ghosts i actually ended up using about, nine, inches of string so i brought out a,ruler measured nine, inches and then i strung through on my,next ghost again just going through just,a little bit of that fabric on the top, side where the styrofoam ball is,and then i brought it over to my ruler, there and made sure that there was a,nine inch spacing in between each of,them, and then tied it into a simple little, single knot and you're just gonna repeat, this all the way down until you have all,of your ghosts, strung onto your garland, project number four is probably the, quickest simplest easiest, fastest and most inexpensive project,i've ever done here on my channel but, sometimes those are the best ones i,think so what i'm going to start off by,doing is actually hot gluing the bottom, side of one of these spider web bowls, that i found at the dollar tree, and i'm going all the way around just, making sure that i add a generous amount,of hot glue on the bottom, and then i'm going to be gluing on top,of that the second bowl, now this is going to be creating a kind,of like tiered bowl which is similar to,that terra cotta candle that i created, that everyone, loved in my dollar tree video but i'm,also giving this a nice coat of,matte black spray paint because the, bowls were kind of like a glossy plastic, and i wanted them to be a little bit, more matte i just thought it would look, quite nice with this bowl shape so i,went around and i sprayed it with a,matte black finish and that finishes off, this really cute spiderweb candy bowl,a few weeks back on instagram i shared, with you guys this really cute starry, night rattan style pumpkin that i,created for a little instagram pumpkin, swap that i was doing and i thought why,not also do a video tutorial on it so,our final project is how to create this, pumpkin so i'm starting off with one of,these, faux foam carvable pumpkins now this one, guys is from joanne's however i do not, suggest this one,it was so challenging to cut through i,got my last one at michaels and i can, tell you it was so much easier to cut, through i don't know what it is if it's,made of a different foam or something, but the michaels one is much much much, easier,so what i started off by doing which i,know i've kind of already gotten into, this a little bit,but i'm going to be cutting out a ton of,different star shapes and then i also, wanted to add a little moon as well a,little crescent moon so that is what i'm,tracing out here i just kind of freehand, everything however i do have a pack of,star cookie cutters that i kind of use,as a reference for some of the larger, star shapes, but any of the smaller stars i honestly, just kind of create your generic star, that you learned in elementary school, and then i cut it out so i just did a,whole ton of stars all the way around, tracing them in tons of different, various shapes and sizes, just to get a nice variety and kind of,make it again look like a little starry, night, now i actually had to make all of the, cuts off camera because the angle i was, filming,at and the strength of this foam pumpkin, was just not allowing me to cut them so,i ended up cutting all the shapes off, camera, and then it took me about half an hour,to do so the thing i love about these, pumpkins is that you can reuse them each, year which is amazing so then what i did,was i grabbed some black acrylic paint, and put in a little container there and, added a bit of baking soda to create, that really nice ceramic paint that, everyone's been doing lately, and this just gives kind of like a,ceramic finish to the outside of your, pumpkin, now you can totally leave it orange if,you'd like to however i wanted to go in,and do a black one this time because my,first one that i created for instagram, was actually like a creamy white tone,so i thought having a black one and just, doing a little bit of variation so you, guys can see two different color ways of,this pumpkin would be really really nice,so,i went on and painted a generous coat of,this black paint which again is that, kind of ceramic finish baking soda vibe, which we all have been loving lately, and of course you can't forget to paint, the little top section as well i just, used a smaller brush for this to get a,nice detailed edge alongside of the stem, there, and next what i did was i grabbed a,little bit of this rattan material which, you guys all know i use in a lot of my,projects i get it at a local shop here,in los, angeles and i'm using i first started, off with a bit of crazy glue which, honestly did not work at all and it got,all over my fingers which was quite, annoying,so what i ended up doing which is what i,did with my first pumpkin was i actually, just used sewing pins so i bring the, rattan material inside, and i grab a couple of sewing pins and i,secure it at all four corners into the, foam material, now you're gonna have to use a faux, candle in this anyways so the sewing, pins cannot be seen, and that really finishes off this really, cute starry night pumpkin, and you made it to the end i hope that, you guys enjoyed those halloween diy, decor, ideas as much as i loved creating them, for you they were so much fun and i'm,really really excited to decorate my,mantel with them a lot of them i,actually think are going to go on my,mantel area because it's a pretty focal, prominent point in my living room i,really love how these pieces to me kind,of feel timeless they're definitely, pieces you can keep for year after year, and you're never going to get bored of,them because they're very simple but of,course very halloweeny and perfect to,decorate for the season,i love the word halloweeny by the way,and also we cannot forget how budget, friendly these are almost every single, project was made using pieces from the, dollar tree so you're also saving a,little bit because i know not everyone, wants to spend on halloween decor,so this is just a little way to add a,bit of festivity to your home while also, saving a little bit of money and yes so,that finishes off today's video i hope, that you guys enjoy these projects Halloween Front Porch Decoration Ideas 👻| Halloween Decor 2022 Outdoor | DIY Dollar Tree

foreign, and this is my daughter if you didn't already  know her this is uh my only kid my only one my  ,baby forever so she will be joining me in this  video you would see her hands in this video  ,just like mine but uh we decided to collab this  video she really wanted to help me with this one  ,because this year she requested or I guess asked  us if we can decorate for Halloween or from porch  ,and yard and we said yes so for this year we  are actually committing to a whole Halloween  ,decor and I was like perfect I never I've never  done a DIY for actually Halloween so I'm really  ,excited most times I just buy pumpkins and we  just throw a couple of skeletons and we call it  ,a day in this video I will show you some DIYs I  came up with three of them that work perfect for  ,um Halloween and I'm so excited to share this girl  helped me with like half of each DIY because most  ,times I record at night and she has to go to bed  so there is that we hope you love this video as  ,you can see she's really hyper she just came back  from dance and she's all hyper we hope that you  ,love these DIYs as much as we did making them  thank you thank you so much for watching do not  ,forget to click the Subscribe button and leave a  comment down below thank you so much for watching  ,now we're gonna jump into the video and let's  get started yeah for our first project we are  ,going to be using this five dollar sign I picked  up from Target that was a great deal and I was so  ,excited to find it here you can use some stencils  or vinyl I will be using vinyl but in the color  ,white and then I'm gonna use this cute skeleton  from Dollar Tree and then some I'm just going to  ,end up using the black paint so ignore the other  paints okay so first things first I'm going to  ,remove the hanger that comes here save it because  we will use it later now we're gonna remove the  ,tag in the back and here is my cute baby helping  me remove the sticker now the next tip is to grab  ,some painters tape and I am going to be creating  a frame around it I really like the Grain on the  ,side so I would like to keep it and I'm just  going to cover the edges this is definitely  ,optional I really wanted to do this just because  of that it was a great addition to the project  ,and once our four sides are completely covered  with tape we are moving to the next step okay  ,I will tell you right now I made a mistake I  started painting this white and it was supposed  ,to be black or I guess I came to the conclusion  that I needed this to be black so we're gonna  ,switch the paint and I didn't realize until I had  completely painted it and waited on that to dry  ,so yeah there's that but definitely this is an  optional uh an optional step you can definitely  ,leave it as is and just you know put the words  on it and do the rest but I really thought that  ,um this would look a lot better if I painted and  especially because I'm going with black and white  ,outdoor decor okay here is what it looks like once  it's completely painted now we're moving to our  ,friend the skeleton this part is again optional  I don't like the shiny white color this skeleton  ,has so I went on top with some chalk paint and  I just gave it two layers of it just because I  ,wanted to make sure everything was painted and  then I'm gonna let it dry now here is what our  ,sign looks like once it's completely dried and  we are going to start removing the tape and let  ,me tell you it was so pleasing seeing those edges  completely sharp I was so excited it was like my  ,favorite thing to do remove the tape off of this  and then um once that is done here is our friendly  ,skeleton as well because we are going to I decided  to only use the top basically the arms and then  ,the legs you can definitely glue this completely  on there but that's not the style I was going for  ,where I guess the idea I had on it and so I'm  just trimming the legs and also you know the  ,arms now here is what our friend the skeleton  looks like right now I am going to take my sand  ,place it right on top and now here are my one  my wino my vinyl letters I spell welcome you can  ,definitely spell Halloween whatever you want  but this was a welcome from porch sign that  ,I really wanted to create I saw some inspo from  Pinterest and decided to create my own so there  ,is that that's where the idea came from and then  you know I'm just going to start placing these  ,letters on top of my sign and we are going  to leave our skeleton to the side for now  ,um let me know uh what colors are you going  for this year you know I'm very basic and I  ,am going to go for black and white but are you  doing any colors do you decorate for Halloween  ,for us this is the first time we're doing this  and it was more so of a request of my daughter  ,and I was really excited honestly because I love  making things and I was like yes let's do this so  ,we're gonna go big on Halloween decor this year  for our front porch and um yard I'll show you  ,when we have that going and then um so here's  a look of how this sign is looking I think it  ,looks really good now it's time to add the final  touches we are adding our skeleton and I am just  ,going to hot glue this in place and pray that  this stays on here the entire Halloween season  ,I'm sure I could have used a better glue but you  know hot glue usually is nice with me so or to me  ,and you know I decided to just go with hot glue I  glued the arms in the head and then just place the  ,paint bottles on top to make them stay just push  it down and then we are going to do the feet and  ,I first wanted to use the entire part of this but  I was like it's going to look weird and kind of  ,play around with it and then I finally decided I  needed to trim these legs and so I end up you know  ,marking with a pencil where I need to cut and then  just grabbing my scissors that's the best thing  ,that this thing uh is made of plastic and it's  a very flexible plastic and I was able to just  ,grab my scissors and cut it now I'm just going to  hot glue it just like we did the other part and  ,this is almost it let me know in the comments  down below again what are you doing for Halloween  ,I would love to know and you know I'm always  looking for ideas to see what other videos I  ,can do so if you have any suggestions you know  I am all ears I do try to get a video out once  ,a week you know life happens and I sometimes  don't make the goal but I do try to do my best  ,now I hadn't glued the arms or I guess the hands  and I decided to do that just because you know  ,I don't want this to be flying around and then  once that is completed this is the time to add  ,the hanger definitely again optional I feel like  I've said that a lot but it's definitely an option  ,and you can do so many things with this this  is just one idea out of like Millions probably  ,and that is all for this project  let's take a look at the end result  ,for our next project I will be using two Dollar  Tree skulls I picked these two but you will see  ,the struggle here in a little bit I also am  going to use two hands I show you this tiny  ,little skulls but I don't end up using them and  then I'm gonna use a wooden dowel and I will  ,leave the information down below I'm also going  to be needing a flower pot or just a regular pot  ,and then I'm also going to be using some black  spray paint I don't end up using the white one  ,so ignore it and then some flowers yay okay what  I'm going to do first is grab my two skulls and  ,since this one is a cup and it's harder I am  going to have to remove the top and I use the  ,salt to do that I had an idea of having a big and  a small skull I will say that created a lot more  ,work that was not necessary so I would suggest  if you are going to recreate this just grab the  ,two regular gray brownish pumpkins because they're  made out of plastic and they're easy to work with  ,now I didn't realize I wasn't recording this part  so I apologize I ended up cutting the hole on that  ,bigger skull with my scissors without any trouble  I just drew the circle cut it with my sisters and  ,I was done now for the other one if you want to  use that which I don't see why you would because  ,it's just a lot more work I use this tool and  this one is basically meant for riding on wood  ,or like drawing a wood I don't know the exact  name but I end up using that and then just sand  ,the top because it was really rough and then just  go back with the tool to kind of make it you know  ,a little bit more smooth I use the same tool to  create holes at the bottom because uh I'm sure you  ,guessed or I'm sure you already know we're making  some planters I was so excited about this project  ,I really wanted to make it and I was like I have  to make this work so that's why I was doing this  ,extra work and I could have wait to the next day  to go to Dollar Tree and just give me another good  ,skull but I decided to just keep going right we  don't give up here and then um I will say that  ,you can use the glue gun to create these holes you  don't necessarily need this tool specifically the  ,hot glue gun works just as fine so just create  some holes so we can have some water drainage on  ,our um soon to be Planters now I'm gonna take my  black paint and I am going to spray my uh skulls  ,I will give it just one coat was enough for me  and then I also took the doll and spray painted  ,here are my skulls we're gonna let them dry and  now once our skulls are dry we're going to use  ,them in the hands as well I am going to sit these  skulls on top of the hands now I am going to use a  ,screwdriver you could hot glue them or use some  other glue that is strong enough to hold them I  ,still wanted to have the extra security so I added  the screwdriver or I guess the screw on there with  ,a screwdriver I added it and this is gonna be  easier on the bigger skulls the gray ones because  ,it you can fit your hand in it and you can add  um you know the screw and be able to screw it in  ,I did struggle under that other one but here is  what it looks like and then I just added some  ,hot glue to make it be secure I guess make  sure that it's not gonna move and then I did  ,struggle on this one a little bit but I did get  it in there and I did also added some hot glue  ,now I took my um drill and I'm going to create  some holes uh for our soon to be plantar tier and  ,I end up gluing this gold down to the hand just  because even though it's secure there I don't want  ,it to be moving around and then uh for the smaller  one I had to go from the bottom because it was  ,easier my hand and the drill did not fit through  the top so I just flipped it around and started  ,from the bottom and it worked just fine now once  those are completed we're gonna put them to the  ,side for now now I'm gonna grab my pod and excuse  me or excuse my pod it's just so dirty but this  ,is what we got to work with the Pod was actually  from Dollar Tree I got it for five dollars from  ,that new section they have over the summer and it  was used and that's why it's dirty I grabbed this  ,random cop that was dirty and I had it sitting  around my work area it has some pain and then  ,it dried and then and you know it ended up being  like that but we're not gonna see it so it's fine  ,and then I forgot to add the wooden dowel before  I added the rock so I kind of struggle here listen  ,we're learning as we are going we usually don't  have everything planned out completely so a lot  ,of this is like real action in like real time and  then after I added some hot glue to the dowel and  ,made sure that it was glued completely to the  bottom I added the Rocks you can add anything  ,just heavy enough to hold your wooden dowel  okay now that we got that going I am going  ,to start adding my hands with the skulls I  will put the bigger one down first and then  ,I was like how I'm going to make them stay  in place so I'm gonna add some hot glue and  ,then after I added hot glue I let it dry for a  little bit and then I was like I need something  ,else to make sure they're not gonna slide  and I found these clips from Dollar Tree I  ,had laying around and they're these pink ones and  I'm gonna use those to hold the bottom I'll spray  ,in them and then I'll just clip them on there now  for the second one since it's going to go at the  ,very top I just added a ton of hot glue and I'm  going to have another little clip at the bottom  ,now excuse my garage it's dirty but I really  wanted to show you how I put this plant on here  ,I just get it out of the little container that  they come in and then I just put it inside my  ,skull you know pretty simple um I will not be  showing you the other skull because I did that  ,one off camera and also I did the bigger pot I  added dirt and then plants but I didn't have time  ,to move my light and my phone and everything to  record so I apologize for that now I did wanted  ,to mention that you don't have to do the whole  tier thing I want it to go big because this is  ,going on my front porch and I needed it to be  big but you can definitely just make the skull  ,by itself it will look amazing as well and now  I'm gonna stop talking and here is the end result, for this project I will be using this straw wreath  I'm also going to use this cute Halloween flowers  ,I fell in love with these ones I'm going to need  this cute skeleton that actually lights on and  ,it's really loud then I'm gonna use those little  cute hands some tool some ribbon we are going to  ,use this glittery Garland it's like purple and  black and these bats that are also glittery we  ,are not going to use those bones so ignore them  and we're gonna use some black paint we are going  ,to start with the black paint so I didn't have a  lot of black paint so I kind of just use what I  ,had left to spray my wreath here's Ashton trying  to help me and then we're gonna let it dry put  ,it to the side now I am going to start with the  flowers I am going to start taking them apart and  ,then I realized I have two of each two regular  flowers and then two flowers with eyes and then  ,the two branches with the spiders so I decide to  create piles I separate each bunch and then I do  ,that off camera now here is a wreath I think it  looks really spooky I think it's perfect for what  ,I need it for because I still wanted that um  straw to peek through I didn't want this to be  ,completely black and I think it turned out really  cool now I started with the regular flowers I kind  ,of started adding them around this wreath and then  I ran into a problem I did not have enough flowers  ,so once I start adding the eyes the flowers  with the eyes I realized that I'm not gonna have  ,enough to cover them so I decided to just leave  one side uncovered and we will cover it later  ,so I started arranging the flowers that I had  already added to the wreath and kind of create  ,that space that we're gonna need later and once  that is completed we are going to start adding  ,our little branches with the spiders so just  spread those around I think it gives that little  ,something that this wreath needed to make it look  even more spooky you could even just use more  ,flowers and cover this whole thing and call it a  day here's Ashland helping me she loved using the  ,um the Clippers or whatever those are called  and she loves using these tools I just didn't  ,want her to be using the hot glue gun because I  burn myself and you'll see her later okay once we  ,are done completing our wreath um we are going to  start with our Garland this is a cute Garland it  ,actually has some hints of purple and it gives  that little pop of a little bit of color that  ,because this is completely black I think that  give it that little pop of color to to help it  ,look even better so on this one I the thicker  side so this Garland had like little strings on  ,it we took those apart actually Ashlyn helped  me with that she took them apart and we used  ,each string and just wrapped it around so I was  having trouble getting this to stick to the bag  ,so I started using little pieces of paper to do  that and be able to glue them into place so the  ,thicker side that was actually attached to the  Garland I just stick it in there because it's  ,thick enough for that to stay there but the other  pieces are thinner and that's the part that I use  ,the paper for now here is what it looks like on  the back and here is what it's looking like so far  ,I think it looks super cute it will look amazing  just the way it is but you know I like to be extra  ,so here is our cute skeleton and Ashlyn actually  dancing the skeleton around we are going to create  ,a bow our skeleton is just dancing having its best  life so I realized this tool actually glows in the  ,dark it has really cute Sparkles I will say it's  not out at all so I really thought it was gonna  ,show up at night but you can see like little hints  of glow which is still kind of cool maybe if you  ,get more it will glow a lot more but I was really  excited to use this so I use this to create a bow  ,I just wrapped it around until I was done with  the little uh what is that the little roll and  ,then I just finish it in the middle and use the  zip tie and kind of sip it together we're gonna  ,put that bolt to the side and then I'm gonna  use this other ribbon I'm gonna create three  ,loops with this I guess you can call it so I'm  gonna cut three pieces of this ribbon all the  ,same size and then I'm going to start gluing  them together to the back and then this is a  ,very thin ribbon so I'm going to clip it in  place so it can stay in place while it dries  ,here is what our pieces look like I decided to  glue these three these three pieces together  ,on the little the on the center I added the tiny  bit of glue just to attach them so I will be able  ,to start painting them together and make it look  like a whole bow so here is what I am doing right  ,now now that it's dried enough I am going to start  pinching I start on one end and kind of just go  ,through it until I get to the other end once it's  all pinched together I take another zip tie and I  ,sip it together now I don't know I like doing this  individually I feel like I have better control but  ,if you are good doing this all at once you would  only have to use once a time and you know sip  ,your bows together so I have my two balls now now  I'm going to trim you know what we don't need of  ,that zip tie and then I'm going to glue this uh  smaller Bowl right on top and then so it doesn't  ,move around I decided to add another zip tie I  know maybe too many zip ties but that's the way  ,I work I work as I go and I don't really think  about it much until I'm there and I'm like okay  ,how are we gonna figure this out and this is what  I come up with but you know watching this video  ,I'm sure you'll learn things and you're like well  I'm gonna do this I'm not gonna do that so I make  ,those mistakes for you and then I decided to add  another piece of ribbon to the middle to cover up  ,um you know the zip ties because I you know you  had to cover those you have to cover them and  ,then I just grab a piece and I just kind of fold  it in the middle each end to make it a little bit  ,you know uh smaller and then I created a knot in  the middle and then I glued this down but then I'm  ,going to be unhappy here in a little bit again I  work as I go and if I like it I keep it and if not  ,I change it so I glue this down and then I'm like  I don't know if I like this so I'm gonna add this  ,other little piece that was left from that same  glittery glowing tool and I wrapped it right on  ,top and I was like I think I like it I'm Gonna  Keep it and also it's supposed to glow in the  ,dark so I really wanted to use that tiny piece  that was left over it that's the truth behind it  ,here is our Cubo now what I'm gonna do is place it  on my wreath on the part that we left empty I did  ,added a little piece of twine to hold my bow just  because I'm gonna hold this on or I'm gonna hang  ,this on my front porch and you know it can get  windy and crazy outside so I want to make sure  ,that that bowl stays in place and I didn't think  that hot glue was going to be enough so I tied it  ,and then I added some hot glue now I'm gonna do  the same for my little cute um skull or I guess  ,not skull it's a skeleton I add some I tied it  with some twine to make sure it's not gonna go  ,anywhere and now we have our cute bats uh I only  have four of them so I kind of used it to fill  ,in those spaces that were still empty so I just  wanted to make sure that everything was covered  ,up so when it's hanged on the door it all looks  even once I was done doing that here is where  ,I burned myself I was adding this hand to it and  again I wanted to make sure or I want this to stay  ,in place so I need to glue this because if I just  stick them on there they're gonna fall right off  ,and then I just go around place them wherever  I think they look good and I think it's looking  ,amazing let me know in the comments down below  what you think about this DIY I think this wreath  ,turned out amazing that is all for this project  I hope you love it now here is the end result,if you made it to the end of the video  thank you thank you so much do not forget  ,to comment your favorite DIY down  below and subscribe to my channel  ,thank you so much for watching I  will see you on my next DIY bye

HALLOWEEN DIY'S YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY | DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN 2022

HALLOWEEN DIY'S YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY | DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN 2022

hey there crafty friends my name is,Misty and welcome to gleespin designs, today is my first Halloween video of,2022 so let's get Crafting, for this DIY I'm starting off with a,stick that I got from right outside so,you just grab a stick from outside and, then you will need a Dollar Tree, styrofoam cone they do have two, different sizes now this is the larger, one out of the two and I just use my,scissors to make a nice size hole into, the styrofoam cone large enough so that,we can add our stick down inside and you,do want to make it a few inches deep as,well so that it does hold up better then,I add a nice amount of hot glue and I,squeeze around that styrofoam so that it,is nice and tight because this styrofoam,is a super white bright white color,we're going to use a baby wipe and some, antiquing wax and I just kind of rub it,in so that it has a little bit more of a,beige color to it enough that it matches, our hula skirt that is from Dollar Tree,I folded the Hulu skirt in half and then, just tied those strings together you, don't necessarily have to do this step I,just did it so that you kind of double,up your Hulu skirt and you don't have to,wrap it around the cone as many times, when it comes time to add the Hulu skirt,to your now broom handle you're going to,place the hot glue right above where, that styrofoam cone is so that when you, wrap it it will be nice and even if you, place the glue on top of the cone it,will be like a lot more bulky and you, just want it to nice evenly flow and, here is what I mean by how we don't have,to wrap our hula skirt around as many, times because we did double that up and, folded the Hulu skirt over and tied, those strings together and now you just, continue wrapping that Hulu skirt around, until it is completely wrapped and just, like in my last video I do want to,apologize if my voice keeps going in and,out a little bit I am still getting over,a cold so I do truly apologize about, that because the hula skirt is so long I,do just take my scissors and do a really, messy cutting job so that it doesn't,look completely perfect you can make it,look perfect if you would like but I did, want to have a more of a realistic, witchy spooky messy look,to give it a little bit more of that, realistic look I add some Dollar Tree,Dew twine right where the broom handle, and then the hula skirt slash broom head, meets and I just wrap it a bunch of,times and then cut off the excess and, glue it down once I have it wrapped, enough to where I like the look so,here's the thing those styrofoam cones, weigh absolutely nothing of course, they're styrofoam so I'm using this,Dollar Tree wood round and again that, baby wipe with the antiquing wax just to,kind of darken that color up a little, bit add some hot glue and I'm going to,glue it to the bottom of that styrofoam, cone so that our broom now stands up on,its own so basically this wood round is,adding that extra weight that it needs,to have the broom stand straight up now, this is just personal preference on the, length of the hula skirt but you can cut,it shorter or even have it longer if you, would like I found these cute little,Halloween hanging signs from Dollar Tree, and this the witch is in is absolutely, perfect so unfortunately I thought I was, recording and wasn't but I just glued it,right to the stick about halfway up and, then I'm going to use these really neat, sparkly black and orange Halloween ball, picks from Dollar Tree and I just add, some hot glue and place those on either, side of the sign kind of placing one, going upwards and one going down towards, the bottom and then for the cute little, bow I'm going to using this mesh tube, ribbon from Dollar Tree I hold it in my,hand to where I have a little bit of a,tail and you can wrap it around as many,Loops as you would like then I just cut,off the excess take that excess piece, and cut another piece off of it and then,I just place that between my fingers and,tie it in a knot kind of keeping those,Loops all together and cinched at the, center and with just like any other boat, you play around with your loops and it,cut down your Tails if you have tails, and then I just hot glued this cute, little bow right on top of our little, sign and this adorable stand alone, witch's broom is done,I would love to know what you guys think,of this witch's broom DIY down in the, comments, today's video is part of a haunted,Halloween open invite challenge playlist,it is hosted by Jackie from crafting in,Mimi's world and Ellie from DIY from, house to home and guest host is me,Gleason designs for this playlist our, challenge is to make at least one, haunted house DIY there will also be,many other people participating so I,will leave the link Down Below in the, description box so you can go and check, out all of those videos as well and let, them know that I sent you now back to,the crafts, for this DIY I'm using one of these, folding lanterns from Dollar Tree, they're actually pretty neat they are a,really nice size as well and definitely, something fun that the kids could do,they are super easy to put together they, just have these little tabs and you just, stick the tops together and boom you, have a cute Lantern, however for this DIY you will need to,cut this Lantern apart and all you will, need is one of the pieces with this, haunted house on it you could save the, other pieces for another really neat DIY,now taking the side with the haunted, house on it I do also cut off that frame, and then I take my scissors and I get in,there and I get a lot closer to that, haunted house it doesn't have to be,super close and right up on it but you,do want to get rid of a lot of that, shiny plastic,Dollar Tree has two different sizes of,these cloches this is the larger of the,two sizes and I want to add the haunted, house to the inside of this cloche and,to do that I'm going to add a little bit,of mod podge down at the bottom of the, haunted house and also adding a little, bit up at the top on the peaks of the, haunted house I don't want to add a,whole bunch of mod podge or Mod Podge, even covering the entire thing just in,case it wasn't going to be as,transparent but this way it worked out, absolutely perfect and now I just take, the haunted house place it up inside the, cloche and place it down with my fingers, once the haunted house is glued on you, will want to set this aside until the,Mod Podge completely dries now at first,I was going to use the tea light that, came with the lantern from Dollar Tree, but as I was adding the floral Moss I,did realize it is a multi-color tea, light and I personally prefer just the, normal white light tea light so I did, switch that out and then I did want to,paint the tea light black down at the, bottom so that it kind of Blends in with, the bottom of our cloche a little bit, better,to make this a little bit more creepy I,also used some spider webs that I got, from marks for 89 cents you could use at,Dollar Tree spider webs if you would, like but I just kind of fluffed it out,and pulled it out so that it wasn't so I,guess dense and thick and you can kind,of see that light shining through it a,little bit more and once I had enough, down inside the cloche I did go ahead, and add a few spiders as well, once you have whatever creepy crawly, spooky scary stuff you would like to put, inside your cloche all you have to do is,just place that lid right back on and,you could leave it just like this, but of course you guys know me and I,have to go a few steps further so Dollar,Tree has metal ribbon and this is my,favorite style out of the few styles, that they carry and this is the last bit, that I had left and it fit perfect going, around this cloche so it just must have, been meant to be so I wrapped it around, and glued it down into place and then I,take my black chalk paint and I do go,ahead and paint that metal ribbon with, the black chalk paint once the metal, ribbon was painted to elevate this, cloche I'm using one of these glass, candle holders from Dollar Tree I also, painted it black as well and then you're,just going to add some hot glue up at,the top of the candlestick holder and, place it onto the bottom of your cloche, and once you have glued the Candlestick,to the bottom of your cloche I did go,ahead and add a few little extra teeny, tiny spiders but here's how this DIY,turned out, foreign, for this DIY well I don't know if it's a,DIY or just a really cute hack so I'm,using several different cubes from,Dollar Tree wood cubes blocks you could, use other items as well like Styrofoam, round balls several other items as well, trust me you can walk through Dollar,Tree and find many things that you can,do this with all I did was take these,Halloween balloons cut the longer part,of the balloon off and then you just, stretch it over your Cube or your, whatever you're using you could do this, with toy balls or even Christmas bulbs, and just cut off the hanger and then you, have round decorative balls as well the, balloon is super easy to stretch right, over these wood cubes and these dice now, that smaller wood Cube that is on my,desk it did not work because the wood,Cube was too small and the balloon was, just too baggy over top of it I wanted,to have it several different sizes of,Cubes in my decorative Bowl so I grabbed,a few different sizes I did a few and, then I let my son do the rest I cut the, balloons for him and he put them on the, cubes he had such a fun time doing that,so this could be a fun DIY for your, kiddos as well then we added them to a,spooky bowl from Dollar Tree added some, decorative balls and some succulents and,I love how these turned out, foreign, for this DIY I'm starting off with four,of these wood trays from Dollar Tree it,really doesn't matter what the shape is,on the side but you do want to have four,of these trays I want to be able to,remove the back of this tray so that I,can place the sides on top of the other, tray so that our Shelf has a little bit, more depth to it so I'm heating up the, glue going around the tray and then I,just take my thumbs up pressing in at,one of the corners and start popping, that backing off of the tray you will, want to repeat the same steps on one of,the other trays and here's what I mean,by that glue you see that shininess in,there that is what you're going to want,to heat up and you could use a hair blow, dryer for this as well if you don't have,a heat gun but just heat that glue up so,that you can pop that backing right off,I used my zip sander to just sand down, any of the edges in case there is any, glue left over or any splintering of the, wood now you should have two trays, without backs and two trays with backs,so take one of the sides to the trays, and I used the Super Glue wood glue from,Dollar Tree and I place it going all the,way around the tray and then I glue it,down on top of one of the full trays, then I just repeated the same steps with, the other two pieces of trays adding the,Super Glue wood glue around the bottom,of that tray and then placing it on top,of the other full tray, did you know the Dollar Tree sells at,many different sizes and styles of these, wood crates yeah I definitely did not, know that until just like super recently, they have these two sizes with the sides, where they have the holes in the side, and then they have these two smaller, ones where they do not have holes in the, sides I'm going to be using three of the, smaller crates with the holes in the, sides and I'm going to use that Super,Glue wood glue again and my hot glue and,I just take these three crates adding, that glue on either side and I glue it,these three crates together, foreign, crates are glued together you will need, four of these crates with the slits in,the side of the wood the crates that we,just used do not have the slits on the, side but do have the handles on the, sides of the crate along with these, crates you will need two of these wood, drawers from Dollar Tree it really does, not matter what the image is on the, front I take one of these wood drawers, and I start adding some of that super, glue with glue it to the side as well as,a little bit of hot glue for immediate, hold and then I glue it to the side of,that crate The Backs do not match up,exactly but if that bothers you in the,end you could add a piece of poster, board or whatever you would like to,cover up the backing to your haunted, house then I use that Super Glue wood, glue and hot glue again to glue that, wood crate to the other side of that, wood drawer I did pull out the wood, drawer just because we will not be,needing that and then I do the same, exact steps to the other three pieces, the two crates and that wood drawer and,I just glue the two crates on either, side, now that I have those pieces done I take, all three of the pieces that I just, created and I add some super glue wood, glue as well as a little bit of hot glue,on the side of the center piece which is,the three crates that we glued together,in the beginning and I glue that to the, side of the longer piece so that there,is two of those longer shelves on either, side of that Center piece which again is,those three crates, once we have all these shelving units, completed we're going to add the larger, shelving units at the bottom that we,made in the beginning and again I just, added some of that Super Glue wood glue, and hot glue and I'm going to glue them, side by side and I love the fact that, these are just so deep and you can add, bigger and larger items inside these, shelving spaces, again I truly apologize about my voice, you guys it is like two o'clock in the, morning and I'm trying so hard to get, this video done so I can get it out in,time for you all but so just bear with,me we will definitely get through this, together but back to the craft I just, glued those larger shelves to that other, shelving piece and then we are going to,use a Dollar Tree House and I just, wanted to show you they have it several, different sizes I had had this one from,a previous DIY and I removed the back, from it which is okay because we are, just going to glue that right back on I,was going to use this piece as the back,oh my goodness my voice you guys I am so,sorry but I was going to use that like,Tombstone piece as the backing but I,didn't want the light to show through,oh my goodness so I glued the backing, back onto the house and then it glued, that wood to Stone which is from Dollar,Tree to the backing of the house I did, fill in that hole on the tombstone with, some Dollar Tree spackling and then I,add some regular wood glue as well as,some hot glue and I just glued this, house right up here in the center, between those two larger side pieces on,our house Shelf,to make the side Peaks on the house I'm,using these bird houses from Dollar Tree, one I had previously painted for a,different project but I make millions of,projects and do not finish them so I,heat up that glue on that little perch, stick for the bird and I pulled a stick, out which to be honest with you guys, looking back I don't even know why I did, that because I completely cut that, section off of The Birdhouse anyways so,yeah do as I say and not as I do and you, don't even have to pull those little, sticks out so next I take a piece of a,craft stick popsicle stick whatever you, would like to call it and I just kind of,start where those curves are on the, circle the larger Circle that is on the, birdhouse and I kind of traced that out,but going straight down so that I can, create this Eerie spooky window look, once I have the shape that I want drawn, out I use my utility knife to just cut, those pieces out and I just go over, those lines a few times and then you can, very easily pop that little piece out,and now you have this long spooky window, then I do the same exact steps with the, second birdhouse tracing out that window, cutting it out and then I use my zip, sander to go ahead and sand down any, rough edges, once we have our Windows all sanded down,I take the wood glue and I add way too, much at first I do have to remove some, and then I add some hot glue and I glue, the window up here at the top on the, side of our crate and you guessed it of,course we are going to repeat those same, exact steps gluing the second window, down over on the other side of the wood, crate up here on top oh my goodness I am,loving how this is turning out already I,am so excited and I cannot wait to show, you guys the final reveal this next step,is not something that you necessarily, have to do but it does get the house a,lot more of a finished look and I just, used some Dollar Tree spackling and I go,through where the crates are and I fill,in all of those little cracks, once the spackling was dry I just used a,piece of my zip sander sandpaper and go,ahead and sand all of that spackling, down next you're going to take that, backing piece to these larger shelves, that we took off in the beginning and we,are going to use this to cover up those, holes in the sides of the shelves here,so that we do not have these at random, holes you could use them as Windows if,you would like but I decided not to do,that instead I just marked down the size, that I needed and I used my shears to,cut those wood pieces down which you, could definitely use scissors as well, for these wood pieces they are super, thin and very easy to cut so one of,these backings will make both sides of,the piece that you need to cover up,those holes and then it no longer looks, like you have any holes on the side of,your shelf piece I also cut the second, backing down to the other tray so that,we have two pieces is for our other, shelf as well I then again use the wood, glue and hot glue to glue that piece, right up against the side so that those, holes were covered and once again you,are going to repeat the same steps over, and glue all of those pieces down so,that those sides are covered I wanted to,take this second to say hello and thank, you all so very much for watching my,videos and just let you guys know how, much I truly appreciate every single one,of you,now that the haunted house shelf is all,put together I use my black chalk paint, and I paint the entire thing black, except for inside the windows and for,the windows I use a small paintbrush and,my white Rust-Oleum chalk paint in the, color linen white and I go ahead and, just paint the inside of the windows, using this folk art metallic gunmetal, gray paint I add it onto a tissue and I,just start dabbing it onto that,Tombstone up at the top of our house I,don't know if it would be a tombstone or,a cross now it just looks really neat, and I like how it looks so I dab it on,there until I like the look of it then I,also take a little tiny paint brush and,I go along some of the shelving units on,our haunted house shelf just to give it,a little bit more character, and speaking of giving it more character, this next part I'm super obsessed with I,use these at bamboo sticks I have missed, these I have not used them in quite some, time and if you've been watching my,channel for any amount of time I use, these all the time usually so it's very, rare that I go several videos without, using them so I actually cut these down,I had, stained these with a black stain a long, long time ago and I just cut them down, and I'm going to use these sticky dots, from Dollar Tree they are actually a,velcro sticky dot I should say and I,fold them over so that they stick to,each other how they should and then I,start cutting them into four separate, pieces I take one of the pieces of,velcro and place it on either side of,those little boards and then I place, them up on the window and the purpose of,this is so that you can easily remove, those wood boards on your windows to,turn your lights on and off that will be,inside the windows if you do decide to,put lights in your windows like I did, mine,I wanted to pay a little bit of extra, special attention to detail so I added, some black chalk paint with a little, tiny brush on top of those velcro pieces,so that they Blended in with the Blended,in with the back of the house and you, could not see any of that white Velcro,I wasn't sure on what I was going to put,on top of the tombstone on top of the, haunted house but I decided to use these, letters that I got from Amazon I will, have these linked down below as well as,the bamboo sticks Down Below in the, description box in case you would like,to check them out I did go ahead and, choose rip and I painted them white and, then I used a little bit of antique wax,and just an old brush to kind of give, them a little bit of a dirtier old look, once the letters were dry I used some,Dollar Tree super glue and I just added, the glue on the back of the letters and, then glued them to the top of the, tombstone right in the center Dollar,Tree has so many different options that, you could choose from you could use, sticker letters a paint pen rub on,transfers there really is so many, different options on what you could add,on top of your tombstone,as I was gluing these letters on I kind,of thought that there was just a little, bit too much black a lot of Halloween, decor is black so there will there will,be a lot of black going inside of the, haunted house so I decided to use some,of this really nice Dollar Tree, peel and stick wallpaper you guys it is,now 4 44 in the morning so please bear, with me but I use the peeling stick wall, wallpaper I cut it down to the size that,I needed to fit inside each one of the, shelves and I really think this makes, the haunted house really pop so much, more and if I had more of the wallpaper,I would have even possibly put it on the, backing of each one of the shelves I,think that would have looked really nice, and then just had all of the sides black, that would look really really nice as,well see what I mean look at that I,think that looks so amazing and then to,also kind of make those wood pieces on,our Windows go with the shelves now a,little bit more I do take some white, chalk paint and I just do a dry brush, technique adding a little bit of white, chalk paint onto each one of those, boards and once you have have those all, painted and look at how this all goes, together now it looks so great now I'm,going to use some tea lights and if I,would have made my windows a tiny tiny, bit and I mean this would probably fit,in there if I pushed it a little bit but,it was very easy to just pop off the top,to make the light just come out which, even makes it brighter so that is a plus,as well but I just popped two of those, tea lights out and then I'm placing them, inside our Windows just by removing the, velcro wood pieces and then placing them, back on and once that is done it you can, decorate your haunted house shelf any,way that you would like I will have all, these little tiny haunted house tiered, tray Decor pieces uploaded in another, video and possibly in some YouTube, shorts so definitely keep a lookout for, those if you would like to know how I,made all of those little Decor pieces, inside our haunted house, but I would absolutely love to know what, you guys think of this haunted house DIY,down in the comments, foreign, this DIY is definitely my favorite,Halloween DIY of all time Dollar Tree, carries these casket shaped signs I went, ahead and removed the hanger and they, are reversible so it does not matter, what side you use and you're going to,need two longer signs from Dollar Tree,it does not have to be these exact signs,I know I have three here but I did only, end up using two to create the sides to,the casket I hold up one of these longer,Dollar Tree signs and I just use my pen,and start marking it down the areas, where I know I need to measure and cut I,use my utility knife to just score the, wood a few times and then I'd bend it,back and forth and it just snaps right, off and I do take my zip sander and sand,it down so it is nice and smooth, this one sign piece is going to be both,of the longer sides to our casket so I,mark it at its halfway point which is,about three inches and then I draw a,line down the center so I know where to,take my utility knife score it bend it,back and forth and break it apart and, once again I do sand it down to make, sure it is nice and smooth,if you do not have any of the long signs, from Dollar Tree you definitely can make, this from the Dollar Tree foam board as,well once we have those longer sides, done we need to make the smaller sides, for up closer to the top of the gasket,so I just place the longer side on that,we just made for reference I hold it up,and then take the second Long Dollar,Tree sign place it up against that side, and Mark where I need to cut it,once I had that piece cut again I sand,it so it is nice and smooth then I take, the longer side piece to our casket that,we already have cut and finished and I'm,just going to hold it up because it is,the size that we need I mark it down and, then I use my utility knife to cut those, two pieces in half and then once we do,that we have our two smaller top side, pieces to our casket so that means we,have the two longer side pieces to the, casket as well as those two top shorter, side pieces to the casket that means all,we have left is the top and the bottom, and the top and the bottom I'm going to,make the same length and that is the, length of the top here so I am going to,again take my piece of that longboard, sign whatever you want to call it from,Dollar Tree and I measure how long that, piece is up at the top then I just take,my ruler and Mark where I need to cut it,again you always want to measure twice, and cut once and like I said this is,going to be the top and the bottom piece,to our casket so I mark it in the center, which again is about three inches and, then I am going to cut that piece in,half so once again we have our top and,our bottom,I made the bottom of my casket the same, size as the top piece of the casket just,so that it had a little bit more hanging, over on the sides because the bottom of,the casket is obviously thinner than the,top of the casket and with that piece, the casket will stand up very very well, you'll see what I mean here in just a,few minutes next I'm going to take some,of these Dollar Tree skewer sticks they, are absolutely huge you could use, whatever Dollar Tree dial rods skewer, sticks you could even use a few Jenga, blocks for this or even outline the, entire inside with the Jenga blacks as,well all I'm going to do is make the, skewer sticks the exact same size as the, sides to our casket so I just hold it up,to the side of the casket and then cut,it with my shears and you are going to,want to make one of these for each one,of the sides to your casket,so that means you will need six skewer, stick pieces total once you have the, sides and the dowel rod pieces cut you,can start assembling your casket and it,really is super super easy and simple, all I did was add some wood glue and hot, glue down to the bottom side of our side, and then I place it right up against the, side of the casket sign from Dollar Tree, once I have that side on for some extra, security I take some hot glue and I make,a nice bead going all the way down in,that crease on the side and I add that, skewer stick right down in that glue so,that it adheres to the side of the side,as well as the bottom of the side and,now it is all nice and secure then I,just move on to doing the top smaller, side piece by again adding that wood, glue and hot glue gluing it to the side,of our casket sign and then placing some, wood glue down that crease and adding, our dowel rod to keep it nice and secure, once you have those two side pieces done, you can move on to the other sides I,found it easier to do the two side, pieces and then the top and the bottom, just because it all fits really well, that way and again I add that wood glue, hot glue glue it to the side and add our, dowel rod again it is super repetitive, you're just going to keep placing these, side pieces on until you have both of,those side pieces and then you can move,on to the top and the bottom, for the top and the bottom you're going,to pretty much do the exact same thing, except for with these that you're going,to add the glue on the sides and as well,on the bottom so it completely adheres,to the casket now that the top is on you,can add your glue and then place the, dial red down inside as well, and now we can move on to the bottom and, here's what I mean by how the piece is,the same size as the top and how it,hangs over on the sides a little bit, once I add the glue and glue it down, those extra little bit on the sides will, definitely help keep this casket, standing straight up and let me just, tell you this casket is not wobbly, whatsoever it is super sturdy and it,just came out so perfect now that the,Cascade sides are glued on I'm going to,use the Dollar Tree spackling fill in,the hole from where the twine was on the, original casket sign from Dollar Tree, then I use my black chalk paint and I go,ahead and paint the entire casket black,I use my black folk art chalk paint for, this and I only had to give this entire, casket two coats and it completely, covered that sign to give the casket a,little bit more detail I use that same, gunmetal folk art metallic paint and I,just placed it going along those dowel, rod skewer stick wood pieces inside the, casket and then I also place it just, lightly going around the top outside of,the casket as well, next I use my Cricut to cut out this, design that I found in Cricut design, space it is this really cute home sweet, haunted home saying it also had a little, bat on it top of it but I had to cut, that off so that I could place the bat,on there individually, pretty much so that I can place it where,I want it to go instead of it being up,so high and then it would not have fit,on our casket so again I transfer on,that home sweet haunted home and the bat,and I just think that turned out so cute, setting our casket to the side for just,a moment you will need a smaller Dollar,Tree pumpkin or really any pumpkin that, you have as long as it will fit down at,the bottom of your casket and I just, used my black chalk paint and painted, the entire pumpkin black okay now listen, this is how you know I absolutely love, you guys because I am about to work with, glitter I hate working with glitter even, though this pumpkin turns out absolutely, gorgeous I hate hate working with, glitter but I had a vision in my head, and I wanted to bring it to life for you, guys so here it is I placed a nice bit,of mod podge down in the indentation of,the top of the pumpkin and then I use my,mini chip brush and just start dragging, that Mod Podge down over on the side so,that it gives us this really streaky, kind of creepy look I take some of the, silver glitter from Dollar Tree and I,just start shaking it all over the top,of that mod podge and it will stick, right to it shake off the excess and, look how gorgeous I did also use my,black chalk paint to paint the stem of,the pumpkin black as well I did have to,kind of speed things up a little bit, because this video was getting so long,so I do apologize if things seem a,little bit faster than normal I will be,back to my regular speed next video I,hot glued the glitter pumpkin down at,the bottom of the casket then I'm going,to use one of these Dollar Tree, skeletons and I don't really care for,the color it's just really dingy and not,so real looking I guess and it's just, super plasticky so I take my white,Rust-Oleum chalk paint in the color, linen white and I do a heavy dry, brushing I don't cover it completely I,do let a little bit of that color show, and then I do cut off the hanger at the,top on his head and finish painting him,White however again I did not want him,to be completely white so I take some, black chalk paint and I start dry, brushing it along at the skeleton just, giving him a little bit more detail and, making him look a little bit more, realistic before I add my skeleton, inside the casket I need to fix his, super wobbly head the heads on these, skeletons are crazy wobbly and I want it,to be looking sideways out towards us so,I just add a little bit of hot glue and, hold it in place until it is nice and, sturdy to add the skeleton to the casket,I just lean it up against the side and, glue that back leg back behind the, pumpkin and also to the bottom of the, casket I take the skeleton's other leg,and I just place it up so that it looks, like it is propped up on top of the, pumpkin and kind of stepping up on it,and I don't want to glue it down just, yet I'm going to take some at Dollar,Tree of florals you could of course use, whatever florals you would like I I love,it this pumpkin floral that beautiful, silver matches our pumpkin that we made,it so well I bent the stem of the floral,in half and I place it right beside the, pumpkin kind of between the skeleton's,legs I do not glue it down just because,I was scared of the gluing commitment so,I did not glue anything down just yet,now I finally do go ahead and glue down, the skeleton gluing his back to the side,of the casket and also his foot to the,top of the pumpkin and then you can go,ahead and add your pumpkins stem back on,as well I wanted the Spooky Little,Branch picks with these sparkly balls, off of the skeleton pick from Dollar,Tree so I just picked it off and placed,it down where I would like it at this, point I did want to add a little bit, more height to the flowers so I just, take another one of those same exact, floral picks and I stand it straight up,in the back kind of tucking it back, behind that scale skeleton's leg so it,does not move or go anywhere and then I,take the floral pick that we bent in,half and I put it back where it,previously was so now we have these, really really pretty flowers but to make, them just a little bit more spooky I,found these floral picks at Dollar Tree, that had these little tiny black like, sparkly skulls so I hot glue one of,those in the center of each one of those, red flowers for our skeletons Lantern,Dollar Tree has many different styles, they also have these wood ones that I,thought would work really well and they, have other Halloween ones also but I,used this Dollar Tree lantern that I,have had or for quite some time and I,just took some white chalk paint and I,distressed it a little bit now I take, one of these wood cubes from Dollar Tree,I painted black with my black chalk, paint and this is what we are going to,glue to the side of our Lantern so that, when we glue it to the casket it is,going to be straight and not like, crooked so basically this is making up,for that gap between the casket and the, lantern I do recommend gluing the, lantern onto the casket with a really, strong hot glue or even E6000 or wood, glue and then I take the arm of the, skeleton and make it look like it is,holding up our Lantern so that it is,guiding it the way with the light at,this point you can call it done and this,DIY could be done but of course again, you guys know me and I always have to go,extra so I kind of thought that it,looked a little bit bare up at the top,of the casket so I use another one of,these Dollar Tree pumpkin picks and I,cut it down and then I just take a,little piece of foam from Dollar Tree it,was one of those around Roundup foam, discs and I just cut it down to a tiny, little piece and I paint it black to,blend in with our casket and I glue it,up here at the top of the casket but, more towards the right hand corner then,I just take those pieces from the, pumpkin pick from Dollar Tree that I had,cut apart and I just start pushing them, into that styrofoam piece and I do kind,of make it look like it is going around, that top right corner and cascading it,down the side just a little bit,now that my florals are all in place I,take one more of those little glittery, black skulls off that floral pick from,Dollar Tree and I glue it right in the, center of that red flower like I did, with the red flowers on the bottom of,the casket and oh my goodness look at,how absolutely stunning this DIY turned, out I just love the fact that it is,spooky but gorgeous at the same time I,am so so obsessed with this DIY,oh,okay friends I have got to know what you, guys think of this casket DIY down in,the comments I mean look at this thing,at night with the lights on oh
