HALLOWEEN BIRTHDAY PARTY PREP ON A BUDGET | AFFORDABLE HALLOWEEN BIRTHDAY
hey everyone welcome back to my channel,this video is going to be on my son's,third birthday party and it was a,halloween theme i did not record a bunch,but i tried to record the main parts to,this that would be fun,for you guys to get some ideas if you,ever wanted to throw a halloween,birthday party,um so i'm gonna show you the balloon,arch that we made these balloons i,actually got off amazon if you guys,want any links to anything just comment,down below and i will try,to link everything that i got but the,balloon arch,is a kit that i got um one of my friends,actually is the one that told me about,it so i'm super excited that she told me,about it because it's so,much easier than trying to build your,own balloon arch like i've tried to do,in the past,and then the balloons um were just one,kit,and they were actually really cheap it,came with the boo banner and everything,and all those little bats that you see,on there that all came in one kit,so i can link that if you guys want to,see those balloons and then the,tablecloth i actually got,from target and the dollar section,so this is a super affordable birthday,party none of this was super expensive,or anything like that,and then this balloon arch kit is just,awesome because it can be used over and,over again so i used it for my son's,birthday party a few weeks ago and then,this birthday party,for my oldest and it's just been awesome,so,that is one thing that we put up that's,a really good thing to put at the table,that you either put presents on,or just decorations or i put food on,here and decorations,our house is kind of small so i don't,have a bunch of space to do stuff like,that,and then this happy birthday banner i,got off amazon,as well and that was super affordable,and then,um i also hung a little like pumpkin,garland at the top up there,and that was from the target dollar,section as well and i believe that was,only a dollar,okay so i already started my video and,already forgot to film certain parts but,um,i made these are just this is just,vanilla,cake mix and i added red and yellow,um dye to them to make them orange so,that the cupcakes will be orange for,halloween,i got more cooling over here and more in,the oven,um so i'm going to be putting these,cupcakes i'm gonna be putting them,inside,these little cupcake holders,and then putting the frosting on and,then you'll see that i'm gonna be making,little spiders,out of it so first step was making them,orange so,that they are halloween colored but,that's the one thing i forgot to do but,it's pretty self-explanatory and then,i'll show you how i make my cakes,um how i kind of like spice them up to,be a little more bakery style,tasting compared to just doing it how,the box is,so i'll show you how i do that when i,make the actual cake but,i did the same thing for these and then,like i said just added red and yellow,food dye,to make them orange so only the top has,a little bit of brown on it but when you,bite into it,so these two cake mixes my mom got at,walmart she actually picked them up for,me because she knew i was gonna do,colored cake and she thought that this,would save me the hassle of having to,make two different cake mixes and then,adding the food dye and everything like,that so she got me these and i believe,they're only a dollar,each and then all the sprinkles and,stuff she actually just let me borrow,but she got those i believe all at,walmart and michael's and then i think,she already had some at home,but she bakes all the time so she has,all that kind of stuff so she just let,me borrow it,for this time so that i could not go,spend the extra money for something that,i would have a bunch,left over in my pantry that i would,probably never use again,so for the cakes um one thing i did is,in,the purple cake mix i did half half and,half and half milk and replace of the,amount of water,that helps out the cake a little bit,more,and then adding one extra egg then it,asks for so i believe this cake asked,for two eggs and i added three and then,this one didn't need oil or anything so,that's all i added to that one with the,black cake,it actually needed oil so i did use,canola oil only because i didn't have,applesauce but usually i like to,replace the oil with applesauce when i,do bake anything,and then once again i replace the water,except for,with the black cake i did canned coconut,milk,and replace of the water and then added,one extra egg then it asked for and i,believe this one asked for,three eggs and i added four and then i,just swirled those two,cakes mixes together to make two,separate cakes,and this is an eight inch pan i believe,and so i just made two,eight inch circle cakes and then i froze,those,and one thing i did when i froze them,was wrap them in a plastic,like shopping bag and my mom taught me,that she said it holds in a lot more,moisture and doesn't dry out the cake as,much and you want to freeze them so that,when you frost the cake the whole cake,does not fall apart which i've made that,mistake in the past,so um i did freeze them and i wrapped,them in the shopping bag and compared to,my son's cake i made a couple weeks ago,for his second birthday,this one was a lot more moist than that,one was and i think that's because i did,not wrap that cake when i froze it so,that i think made a really big,difference and then,i dipped some pretzels that you're gonna,see right here i got pretzel rods from,the dollar store broke some in half and,kept some whole and then got some,regular pretzels,and just made a bunch of cool little,chocolate covered pretzels to put out at,the party it's cheap to do it really,didn't take that long,and i thought it was cute to add to the,table um my kids,loved them and probably ate like five of,them before people even got here,so that's a cute little idea that you,can do,and i got those green and yellow,eyeballs from walmart and then,all those candy colored chocolate molds,you can get at michael's and i'm sure,walmart has them too but those are from,michaels,and then i am making the cream cheese,frosting this is for,the cupcakes and so i did one thing one,eight ounce thing of cream cheese,i did a six tablespoons of softened,butter,and then i added about two and a half,cups of powdered sugar i start with just,one cup in there,mix it all around really good and then i,slowly start adding more powdered sugar,until the cream cheese frosting tastes,how i like it and then you,also add in a teaspoon of vanilla,extract to make sure that's pure vanilla,extract,and that's how i made the cream cheese,frosting and that's what i put on those,orange cupcakes i showed you earlier,so i'm gonna put those on there and then,show you how i'm gonna decorate them to,look like little spiders,and then for the cake the frosting i,made is the exact same thing as this,frosting as a cream cheese frosting but,all i did was add,a really good amount of sweetened,coconut to it to make it a coconut cream,cheese frosting so that's the only thing,that i did differently with that one,was adding the coconut and i kind of,just added,until i thought there was enough in,there so i don't have an exact,measurement but,you just keep adding until you have the,right amount of coconut in there for you,if you want to make coconut,but this is how i made the cupcakes and,they turned out so cute and they were,really good,and they as you can see with my first,cupcake i have never frosted a cupcake,with a piping bag before so this is my,first time and that first cupcake i,ended up wiping the frosting off and,redoing it because,i did not like how it turned out but you,learn as you go and i only got better as,i made it through all the cupcakes and,it wasn't a huge deal to make it perfect,because i was putting a cookie on top to,make the little spider anyways,but i thought they turned out super cute,and i was really excited with how they,turned out,to make the little spider what i did was,buy these cookie thins,oreo makes them so the oreo cookie thins,and i actually just got,the smiths it's like collidos brand i,don't remember,what the brand's called but it's kind of,the off brand of oreos they taste the,exact same,i got that brand of the little thin,oreos and then i just got a little tiny,thing of black frosting where it has the,thin little tip,and i just made the little legs coming,off the spider and then i used,some of that melting chocolate i used,the black one,to stick these little eyeballs on here,and i believe my mom got those at,michael's as well she got those for me,and i believe those were from michaels,so i just stuck those on with the,hardened chocolate,and these i thought were super cute,something fun you can do with kids even,if you're not throwing a birthday party,to have them make,and it was really fun like i said my,first one that i did,was not the best but as i went on,i learned and i think they turned out,super cute,now luckily only one of my cakes stuck,to the bottom of the pan i must have not,sprayed it like,enough but it kind of pulled a little,bit of the cake so all i did was put,some frosting over that which i had to,frost these two cakes put together,anyways,so it worked out for me and then because,this is,has so much coconut in it it was kind of,hard to make it like,really flat to the cake so it's going to,look kind of like chunkier coming off,i wasn't meaning to put like a really,good amount around the entire cake i,only wanted a good amount on top and,then i was kind of trying to just smear,it,around the cake um but because like i,said there's coconut in there it's hard,to make it like a,perfect smear on there,so it kind of looked a little messier,going around the cake,but i thought it turned out cute i,wanted you to kind of be able to see the,cake through it,and it was a lot harder than i thought,it was going to be,but still turned out pretty cute the top,i did a little bit thicker of a layer so,everyone got a good amount of frosting,with,their big old chunk of cake and then the,little face that i put on,my cake is actually from walmart and,it's like a,fondant made face i was really excited,that i did not have to draw it on myself,because i was going to at first until i,saw this,and i'm really excited because it saved,me all the hassle of trying to,do that myself because i'm not very,artistic,and then the cake stand that i am using,for this,is actually from michael's this year my,mom it's actually her cake stand she,just let me borrow it for the,birthday party but it's super cute and,it has like a little like metal spider,hanging down at the bottom it's super,cute,i also wanted to mention that the cakes,were frozen when i did put the frosting,on and i put a layer on put it in the,fridge let the frosting kind of harden,on there a little bit,and then put another layer around it so,that's how i got the frosting to look,like that like i said it kind of looks a,little messier around the edges i wanted,you to kind of still be able to see the,cake it's called like a half,naked cake but it was kind of hard,because of the coconut inside the,frosting but it still turned out cute,the cake topper that i have on top of,these cupcakes is from amazon as well if,you want me to link that i can,but those turned out super cute and i,put the cake topper on there because i,just didn't think it would look good,with,the skeleton cake but i think it all,turned out really cute,and then this little kind of like a,shark cuttery board that i made,i put the chocolate covered pretzels on,there in one of those little bowls i put,some honey roasted peanuts i put the,autumn mix,of candy corn on there i put some,halloween,m ms i put the halloween reese's on,there,all that the trays and stuff every tray,and all that,is all from the dollar store um we made,some green deviled eggs i put out some,apples with caramel dip we carved the,watermelon to look like a,jack-o-lantern and put out some fruit,and then just had a veggie tray and then,we just ordered a bunch of pizzas,so i hope this video was helpful for,anyone trying to foreign,welcome back to my channel I have been,up since 5am because I'm so excited,today we're doing something that I love,well it's two things that I love I'm,combining Halloween spooky season my,favorite holiday and puppies so today I,started decorating getting everything,together I'm going to take you along,with me as I do that because I'm running,a little bit behind I've invited all my,friends over with their dogs for a dog,Halloween costume contest party and if,you guys are enjoying the Vlogs that I'm,making don't forget to give this video a,thumbs up click subscribe and ring the,bell to receive notifications every time,I post a new video alright now without,further Ado my friends and the puppies,are gonna be showing up very soon so let,me show you what kind of decorations,we've got so over here I just hung some,balloons on the stairs for on and what I,love about these balloons is all the,balloons you'll see today are,biodegradable it's the new new you guys,they're a little bit more expensive but,they're worth it I put a whole bunch of,little pumpkins here these are real,pumpkins these are the little light,pumpkins I didn't put any of these on,okay look I got little candy bowls,they're all the little mini sized fun,sized ones like,you found these at the store and I'm,obsessed they are doggy skeletons but,not just any doggy they are French,Bulldog skeletons I love these I'm so,excited so I've got one here this is a,little blueberry one their Mouse can,open,like that and then I've got another one,Mike over here look at this oh they're,everywhere on the ground so when you,walk in you see the a little doggy Coco,which face blue wood stage is this a,doggy,oh good job you give her a kiss good,girl out here in the living room I've,got some more balloons set up and a,bunch more Halloween candy I wasn't,quite sure how many people were coming,so if anybody's got a little sweet tooth,we've got the sweets over here in the,kitchen this is where we all hang out,we're usually outside with the dogs or,by the food the food is on the way can I,put some more pumpkins and I love these,light up signs they're so much fun you,can pick you know the little letters and,spell things and we're doing happy,Halloween do you get it Mike howl Queen,howl like a dog like oh you know a howl,a wing a ween,and then over here I've got the,beverages all ready to go we've got,water here fresh squeezed orange juice,from the oranges out back and,um champagne we're gonna make a bunch of,mimosas and then I got so excited I,found these at the store it's called,liquid death looks like beer you guys,this is just sparkling bubbly water you,can get it flavored but I think these,ones are just sparkling water how cool,I'm gonna be drinking one of these today,so for the top three best dog costumes I,got prizes let me show you I'm still,putting these together so this is for,third place okay this is for second,place I found these really cute baskets,I stuffed them I put cute little candies,in there and so there's candies for,people and then there's also I love,these toys like this is a pumpkin and,then inside of it are these little dog,toys where they look like little candies,and they're plushy and they squeak and,then this one is a cauldron so they're,Halloween dog toys well I want that one,it's a cauldron and then there's Potion,bottles potions I love that first place,wow,first place we still gotta put this,together the first place gets a hundred,dollar gift certificate to healthy spots,which is one of our favorite dog stores,they have great treats and toys apparel,literally everything there and we get a,Frankenstein and look I got some more,from World Market I got some gummy worms,and delicious sour pumpkins also the,first place winner gets this amazing,trophy best costume so here's the deal,with the costume contest Mike you and I,can't participate people are gonna say,it's Rich it would be a little rich but,I did get as costumes because we love,Halloween we love dressing up we're here,so what I'm going to do is I'm going to,put this together I'm gonna put the,flowers outside and then I'm gonna,change into the costume okay so I went,to the store and I got a bunch of little,Halloween doggy toys so the dogs could,play with these we got poop bags and we,got some treats little snacks for the,dogs at the party if anyone's getting a,little hangry these are Grandma Lucy's,they're organic little dog treats and,they're pumpkin,they got little Rope toys and balls so,let's bring these out and I gotta bring,out the flowers all right come outside,you guys,and they squeak You Ready Set Go,go go boo go good girl got some outdoor,water bowls for the doggies and the hose,is right there so we're gonna be filling,that up really easy I set up some,cocktail tables I need to put the,flowers on them and then look what is,done it came out so good,oh,blue let's go get the flowers and we,gotta go change look how cute they are,Mike they came out so festive they got,these little pumpkins at the store and,these vases I already had and here's a,really fun trick you guys if you don't,want to see all the little stems and,weird stuff down here what you can do is,this that wraps around is actually not a,leaf this is ribbon ribbon that looks,like a leaf and you just need to get it,as tall as your base wrap it around and,then I staple it and look at that look,how beautiful and clean here's the,Staple in the back where I stapled it,but I don't think you can see it that,much Mike I think it makes it look,really clean and I like it because you,can reuse it you can dry out the ribbon,and reuse it again all right let's put,these little pumpkins around so cute now,I think I've got everything ready it is,time to change Mike are you ready for,The Outfits I got it I can't wait to see,them okay let's go all right here is my,costume I dressed up as a beloved,restaurant here in California if you,live in California you know how much,people love in and out we do I like the,chocolate milkshakes a lot I love this,costume because it's pretty easy to put,together the hats we got from in and out,you can ask for them when you're going,through the drive-through the shirt I,found on Amazon and everybody in and out,wears the red apron this is basically,the uniform and you've got to have a,white pants I already had white pants,these are Paige jeans they have a petite,section and then the dogs are going to,be french fries but they're Frenchies so,they're gonna be crunchy fries oh look,at that you are the cutest little,Frenchie fry ever seen we need some,fries to go with that shake oh wow,these were also on Amazon I got these,years ago and these used to be hats they,were these hats you're supposed to wear,on your head but I re-sewed them and put,a different Velcro on them so the dogs,could wear them as a cute outfit it fits,them perfect look at that you got your,cute little hat shirt apron you were at,low waisted like the dudes do I wear it,high waisted and then you've got your,cute pants I love these pants,whoa oh happy Halloween,anybody order some Frenchie fries come,on,come ice cream,there got her how cute okay so the food,just got here and I got it all set up in,the kitchen and my friends are arriving,now because I've got a lot of friends,who are prompt so party is officially,started woohoo,thank you,so now that a bunch of my friends are,here I'm gonna go around and have them,introduce their dog and what Halloween,costume they are wearing and Mike and I,are hi everyone I'm sharing a video today,capturing the process of hosting a,Halloween themed birthday party my,birthday is next week and we decided to,have some friends over and have a good,time at our new place,um so I'm just showing you some of the,items that I used most of these items,I've had for a while,this lace I don't even know where it's,from but I've had it in my closet for a,long time and I decided to use it so,this is the table that we're going to be,decorating,and the plan is to also create a little,dungeon in our basement,over here I got some Black Sheets,I got this box of Black Ice from Amazon,that I'm gonna use,to create the dungeon we also have the,Monster's head that we're gonna use this,black light box was actually really,helpful,and I'll show you how I use it in a,later clip,had four strips each of them were about,three feet long,over here is the living room I'm gonna,switch out this fall decor for a more,Halloween appropriate Decor in a little,bit,this is the bar stool that I have set up,with some,um Thanksgiving themed,tablecloth even though I know it's not,Thanksgiving yet that's the one that I,thought was the most appropriate this is,a jar from,Ikea that I really like,you're looking at my outfit for today I,need to go find my actual Halloween,costume because I still don't have one,yet,um I'm wearing this cardigan this black,tank top with some rose gold jewelry,and sorry about the mess in this,background,I initially thought I'd wear these,earrings but because the gold on the,sweater is already a little bit,out there I decided to go with these,instead these are more subtle and I love,these earrings I wear them all the time,because they're so versatile,I got them at Macy's for like 15 bucks,and I'm really glad I got it because I,use it a lot,sure what I want to be for Halloween I,do have this sticker that I got from,Spirit Halloween that I want to use if I,can so I'm thinking maybe if I find a,gold dress,I can be Cleopatra but we'll see how it,goes,and guess what guys I'm back from,running my errands and I found a gold,dress you can't really see the makeup,and everything here but I put on some,Cleopatra like makeup and I was ready to,go,and the final setup ended up looking,like this,we had some planters gifted To Us by our,friends which were so appropriate my,husband got these balloons for us,um,we had cake the candles were looking,really nice,pretty simple nothing out there because,I want people to be able to enjoy I want,to be able to provide them with a clean,cozy space but nothing that is too fussy,that makes them feel like they can't,touch this or that right so,it's pretty minimalist it is pretty,um clean very easy to do with some,things that you have around your house,this is what we serve for food it's a,Mediterranean catering place that we got,it from we have some Chicken Kebabs some,Falafel we have some hummus and some,pita rice some pickled vegetables,this is the bar area we don't really do,much changes to it since the initial,time I showed it to you the only thing,is that I now have roses there,and uh this is the the dungeon that I,was telling you guys about I'm gonna be,quiet for a little bit so you guys can,hear it better okay,so as you can see we used the black,lights,we had this monster from Amazon that we,got that makes creepy noises and that,one over there floating in the air is,just my ski helmet wrapped up in some,bed sheet but people loved it they,thought it was so creative and so funny,I like this one because the sensor,detected so when you walk by it like,Spooks people out,we had some chairs over here for us to,sit on this uh Diablo Tour so it was,pretty pretty popular too and we put it,on top of my husband's um,snowboard so it looked like a really big,piece even though it really was not all,that big,this was a hit people really enjoyed it,they thought it was really creative we,had a good time,so yeah guys that is it for today I'm,showing you one final clip of the table,set up and,um with the candles still burning this,time,this is really fun you guys I hope you,guys enjoyed this video and found some,inspiration,um please do like and subscribe if you,haven't already I am a new channel I'm,trying to grow so any traction towards,my channel would be greatly appreciated,thank you guys bye-bye

hey guys welcome back to my channel or,if you're new here welcome today i,wanted to share with you my halloween,2021 party setup ideas it is for my,daughter's little halloween party that,we just had i did also film a halloween,treats video that goes along with this,so if you guys want to see how i,decorate and where i got everything then,please keep watching,all right so first i'm just going to go,ahead and take down my clock get,everything nice and cleaned this is my,buffet table in my dining room i got,these paper fans from amazon they are,going to go on the wall they are orange,and black with a variety of patterns,they're super cute and super inexpensive,i will link everything that i bought,that i can down below for you guys,now i'm gonna start blowing up these,balloons i got them from michaels,they're super cute i did not use helium,as you can see i just blew them up,myself and then kind of taped them and,secured them to the wall but if you'd,like to fill them up with helium then,you could go ahead and do that like i,said i got these from michaels and it,was a super good deal i believe it was,like three bucks for these so love that,now here's a little tip if you're,dealing with these like confetti,balloons you need to create some static,so either rub your hands all over the,balloon or rub it against your clothes,and then the confetti will stick to the,inside of the balloon it works every,time can't go wrong with this,i love this little set it came with,stickers that you can make little,jack-o'-lantern faces really adorable,next i'm just going to blow up these,blue balloons i got them from michaels,as well super simple to do you're just,going to stick your straw into the hole,there and blow it up and that is it you,will just want to make sure that it's,sealed there is a piece of tape inside,and that is it guys,now this i strung up on a piece of,string and hung it up on the wall as you,will see,now we're just going to start assembling,everything,i apologize for the lighting it was,rainy and windy that day and even with,my lights it did not help so i apologize,if it's a little bit dark in places i,did the best i could,all right now i'm just going to hang up,my little boo banner like i said i,strung it on a piece of string and taped,it up there stayed pretty good didn't,have any issues,now i'm just going to start placing my,balloons around i did use double-sided,tape and it did stick pretty well some,of them i had to use,pins for but other than that it stayed,pretty good,here i got this little spider from,dollar tree i just strung it on a piece,of string and hung it from the little,nails i had there from where i hung my,clock,so it made it look like he was climbing,down,got this little paper banner from amazon,last year i will try to link it down,below,i got a bunch of these spider cutouts,from walmart i'm just going to use my,double-sided tape and stick it onto the,paper fans,alright moving on i got this little,fringe banner it is individual tissue,banner i thought it was going to be,already pre-made so i would suggest,getting something else this was pretty,cheap but it was very very time,consuming and very fragile um this is,definitely only for one season but i,will share with you guys how i did it i,just put the tassel on tied a knot,through the middle and there we go,and it hung like that now i used some,command hooks to hook it to the side of,my buffet table,as well as these little pumpkin lantern,lights i got from walmart a couple years,ago i think they still sell them i will,see if i can link them for you guys,i got this from ebay many many years ago,it is just a little table runner it is,orange and glittery it does make quite a,mess to be honest but you can use any,kind of table runner that you have,then i'm going to be using these little,spider placemats from michaels just to,get my placement to kind of see where,i'm going to put all my treats,and if you guys haven't seen my,halloween treats video i will link it,above and below you guys can see how i,made the treats for this party,now i'm just gonna start decorating i,got these trees from 99 cent store last,year as well as this sign,from dollar tree which i ended up,removing but,i did share with you guys where i got,all this stuff in a halloween 2021 haul,so i will link that down below if you,guys want to see everything i got and,where i purchased it from,just gonna be putting this creepy cloth,over my lamps just to make it look nice,and creepy,then i got these chargers from dollar,tree and we'll be putting them,underneath the felt place mats just to,make it really pop,these two little buckets are from dollar,tree i'm gonna be putting napkins and,utensils in there,as well as these plates some are from,dollar tree some are from walmart like i,said i will link that video if you guys,want to see where i got everything it,will be down below,these forks spoons and knives were so,cute from michaels i really really love,these and i still had some left over in,hindsight i should have bought two bags,because they were so cute i don't know,if they'll have them again next year but,nonetheless adorable,those cups are from dollar tree,this pumpkin i got from walmart many,many years ago they still have similar,things now i'm going to be putting the,chargers on some risers just to make it,look a little bit more elevated,now these paper straws came from,michaels they've got these cute little,bats that you can put on really easy to,do super cute,now i'm just going to add the finishing,touches i'm going to be adding some of,these bats i got from dollar tree and 99,cent store to my lamps just to make it,look creepy as well as these pumpkin,skeletons they came from the 99 cent,store,all right now here's the fun part i'm,gonna start setting up my treats getting,all my placement and get everything out,and ready to go,like i said you guys should check out my,halloween treats videos you can see what,i made how i did it and so on and so,forth,now these treats were such a big success,for my daughter and her little friend,she only had a few over so it was,perfect they kind of ate their treats,and played outside it's still beautiful,weather here in las vegas so it's not,too cold yet,i got these picks from amazon this year,super cute for the charcuterie board to,stick your meat and cheese on,now i decided to fill up the rest of,those little mini cauldrons there from,party city with candy got some pumpkins,some frogs some gummy worms some reese's,pieces some candy corn,just a nice cute little decorative touch,i'm gonna go around and take off all the,plastic from all the plates and all the,napkins so they're ready to go she had,her party the same night this was in the,afternoon so a couple hours later we had,the party and like i said super big,success kids loved it parents loved it,super adorable,now i'm just gonna add the finishing,touches add a bunch of little creepy,spiders everywhere,and this is what it looks like guys,super happy with how it came out,all right i hope you enjoyed my party,setup ideas i will link everything that,i can hey guys welcome back to my channel and,though my makeup looks a little bit,crazy today I mean my sisters and my mom,are actually on our way to a witch fest,but I thought this makeup was kind of,fun and I thought this would be a good,time to do a little bit of an intro for,this video so in today's video I'm going,to be giving you guys a bunch of ideas,of ways you could throw the cutest,Halloween party for your kids using only,items from Dollar Tree so to start out I,want to show you guys a few different,decor ideas and ways you can spruce up,the house and give it a lot more of a,Halloween feel for the party okay so for,this first one I think it's important to,have a really cute spooky fun front door,that's really welcoming for the party so,I am going to be doing a mummy front,door just using some white streamer I,actually only ended up using one pack of,this so you only need one for the door I,also grabbed one of the tan creepy,cloths and then some of these large,eyeballs so basically all I'm doing is,cutting a whole bunch of these streamers,at the same length and then I'm just,taping them on either side of the door,here at the top I thought it would be,cute to add some of this creepy cloth,and I cut it just so it would fit around,the eyes so I did end up putting the,eyes just on the door and I didn't like,how plain it looked but I happen to have,some of this yellow and black craft,paper and I thought that if I just taped,those together that it would add a,little bit more to the eyes and the last,thing I did was just cut a few bats and,I stuck them all around the face do you,feel one kiss,this next one is another creepy thing,that you could stick in the front that I,think will just creep out the kids a,little bit as they come into the house,using to laundry baskets from Dollar,Tree I'm just giving them one really,good coat of black spray-paint and then,I go over it a little bit with the,metallic this is just stuff that I had,on hand so you don't necessarily need to,have both but I thought it would look,more like a cage and that's what I'm,creating with this then using one of,these creepy skeleton ghost things from,Dollar Tree I am just going to tie it,inside of the cage and then I'm going to,use some hot glue and glue it shut for,the last part of this I'm just using one,of the Dollar Tree chains and I'm using,this to hook to one of my little plant,hangers that I have sitting outside,okay this next one I feel like is a,necessity to have at any Halloween party,but I am just using two orange,tablecloths and then one of these a,little wall decor backdrop things and,this one's just the brick one so I am,just sticking this on to my window and,these actually just stick to the window,I use hardly any tape for this but I,just wanted there to be a little bit of,an opening and then I am going in with,this cute witch garland to finish off,the top and then I also cut up some,black streamer and then twist them,around and tape them at the bottom so,they need to have that really cute twist,to them so again this is just going to,be a cute area for all the kids to take,pictures up in their costumes,this next one is really cute I grabbed a,few of these witch hats from Dollar Tree,and then some of these bats and I am,just going to be hanging them for my,ceiling with the bats all you need to do,is tie some string around them and,that's literally all you need to do but,with the witch hats there is an extra,step so I tied a string to a paperclip,and then using a needle I just drove,that thread through the top but because,it's tied to the paperclip,that's what secures the string to the,Hat,this next one is one of my favorite,really simple DIYs I just grabbed a,couple of these black cobweb bowls two,of the little skeleton hands a,candlestick and a skull all I'm doing is,hot gluing all this together you can use,e6000 that is a little bit more secure,it just takes longer to dry but for this,video I just went ahead with some hot,glue,there is no area for me come from,and here it is all finished I think this,will be a super-cute candy bowl that you,could easily display as your centerpiece,at your party,this next one kind of serves as two,purposes it's a really cute decor idea,but it will also act as a place to store,candy or treats or anything that you,want at the party so using each of these,items I am just going to be making a,whole bunch of spider bowls that I will,have all over my table and I will have,different treats in each of them,and while you're on the subject of,treats we are going to be moving on to,all the cute fun treat ideas I'm just,mixing a whole bunch of treats from,Dollar Tree and I'm making my own little,Halloween Chex Mix Bowl this next one is,a really cute idea for drinks and using,some of these cute mason jars and using,some leftover black poster board I am,just going to cut out little faces and I,am mod pausing these on to the glasses,these next ones are some of the easiest,things to make you just need some,dum-dums some white napkins and some,rubber bands and then a sharpie and I am,just making cute little ghosts with this,my mom used to do this all the time,she always had these around the house,and sure enough when my kids saw these,they got just as excited as I remember I,got when she would make these for us,another idea with some suckers would be,using some bigger suckers so it can be,any kind that you want I'm going to,twist some little spider legs on there,and then glue some eyeballs to make,these cute little spider suckers,this last food idea is probably the,easiest all you need is some Reese's,peanut butter cups and some pretzels and,then you just stick these pretzels in,and you got some cute little witch,brooms,moving on to some game ideas I just,grabbed five of these cute little witch,hats and I'm gluing them on to a poster,board and we are going to be playing,which pitch with this I've grabbed a,couple of these glow sticks and this is,what we are going to use to toss over,the witch hats,now for this portion of the video I,asked my twins to help me demonstrate,how these games are to be played,this next one is pumpkin bowling and,just using some toilet paper from Dollar,Tree and a Sharpie I am just drawing,some ghost faces on and then we are,using a pumpkin to bowl I found this,really cute skeleton and we are going to,play pin the bowtie on the skeleton so I,am just cutting up some poster board and,making a whole bunch of little bow ties,I do think another cute idea would just,be to take all of the bones apart from,the skeleton and then just leave the,head on the door or wherever you're,playing this game and then have each kid,try to put the body part on to the wall,I think that would be just another,really fun way to play this game I saved,the best for last this is my ultimate,favorite idea growing up as a kid my mom,used to take treats around to all the,neighbors so that they could hand them,out to us as we trick-or-treat it,through the neighborhood now if you,aren't familiar with your neighbors or,you need an alternative way to play this,you could easily have someone standing,behind each door in your house or,throughout the yard whatever you want to,do and have the kids go,trick-or-treating inside of the house,again I remember this being my ultimate,favorite thing and it's like my greatest,memory at our Halloween parties I always,remember thinking how do our neighbors,know that we're coming I had no idea,always surprise me how they knew that we,were all going to be coming,trick-or-treating because it was always,like the 15th of the month you know it,was nowhere close to Halloween so again,if you didn't do anything else I think,that this is a must do for
