Decorating our Travel Trailer for Halloween | Full Time RV Living

Decorating our Travel Trailer for Halloween | Full Time RV Living

Hey guys, welcome back to our channel.,We are currently in beautiful Shreveport,Louisiana, and I say beautiful because we were having unusually beautiful weather here and we're enjoying every moment of it,It's like mid 70s right now, anyway, today's video is gonna mark our first video of our hallow week vlog series and we're gonna have a spooktacular time and,That's my cheesy puns,I'm very proud of those puns. (Joseph) You know what I think of your puns, Melisa? (Melisa) What? (Joseph) Booooooo. (Melisa) Oh my god,Okay, he just made it cheesier, hahaha,I can't promise that we're not gonna have more puns in this video because we are a cheesy couple, and we're a cheesy channel, and we were proud,of it. So we are gonna go and go to the dollar store,You guys know we love that place because it's... it's... everything's a dollar and we're gonna find decorations,Hopefully under ten dollars total and we're gonna decorate this trailer inside and out (Joseph) Not out. (Melisa) Not out? (Joseph) Just inside,Just inside. We're gonna decorate this trailer inside. Our dog...,Gracie doesn't know what's coming because this is gonna become a scary trailer for hallow week,Let's cue the scary music,(Melisa) So do you have an idea of how you want to decorate the RV, or do you think we'll be inspired by the decorations?,Well, I don't think it's that much inspiration. It's just...,Halloween decorations (Melisa) Joseph, Halloween decorations are a really big deal for a lot of people. I like them personally,Melisa, what is your favorite holiday decorate for? (Melisa) Halloween.,What happens when we see Hollerween decorations in a store? (Melisa) I don't know what Hollerween is. (laughing) (Joseph) Hollerween?,(Melisa) We're definitely in the south Joe. Your accent is coming out. (Joseph) When you have Halloween in a holler - Hollerween,(Melisa) So wait, what was your question? (Joseph) What's your what happens when we see Halloween decorations out in a store?,(Melisa) Generally, if we go to Home Goods, T.J. Maxx, Ross, those kind of stores...,I get very inspired I get....excited (Joseph) Inspired or distracted? (Melisa) Both,When we have a house one day I wanna do really cool decoration. (Joseph) Melisa, tell 'em about this store. (Melisa) What store? (Joseph) Five Below.,Have any of our viewers heard of the Five Below store? (Melisa) Where is it? (Joseph) You just passed it. You're gonna miss the shot. (Melisa) Okay. Yeah, hold on,Let's talk about that. There is a store called Five Below. You see it right there.,Sorry for the shake. Okay. For the longest time, I...,thought that store, was a store for snow gear,And my mother-in-law, his mom, thought the same thing,It looks like a water drip like... I'll put... I don't think you saw it with my zoom in so I'll put it on the screen.,The logo looks like a water...,(Joseph) No. It looks like...You thought it looks like a thermostat...,(Melisa) Ohhh. It looks like a degree...,A degree sign. I did think Belk. (Joseph) Yeah, tell them what you thought Belk was. (Melisa) Belk I thought it was a water supply store.,(Joseph) For people who don't know, Belk is a Southern...is a Southern department store.,(Melisa) Here. You can see it up here.,(Melisa) Okay, so there's Belk up there. Does that not look like water? And then there's Five Below. Does that not look like a degree sign?,You guys this is not my imagination,(Joseph) So anyone who doesn't know, Belk is a southern department store. (Melisa) Belk is a clothing department store,- but I've never shopped there. (Melisa) I've never been there. I actually want to go inside.,Anyway, we're getting distracted. Our mission today is...,to go to the Dollar Tree,We like the Dollar Tree a lot, and,get some really cool Halloween decorations that we will probably throw away when we're done with, right?,(Joseph) Yes, but the moral of the story is Five Below is not a winter supply store. (Melisa) Oh, I'm zoomed in way too much,Sorry. (Joseph) The moral of the story is that Five Below is not....,a winter supply store and Belk is not a water store.,Well, I think the moral of the story is if you're gonna create logos, you need to create things that make sense.,I think that's the bigger moral to the story. What do you think? (Joseph) You think ours makes sense? (Melisa) Our logo?,I think so. We have a little compass. (Joseph) I think the guy who designed it is pretty bright.,(Melisa) You didn't design it yourself mister. I came up with the compass idea in our logo.,Let's be honest. Who came up with the idea? (Joseph) It was joint,(Melisa) You came up with the name - RVoyage... which is... I'll hand it to you... clever, clever,But I came up with the compass idea, right? (Joseph) But I picked out the type-font,(Melisa) That's not what's exciting about logo. It's the compass. (Joseph) It's the type-font.,(Melisa) Oh, we're here. Who-hoo Dollar Tree,(Melisa) Are there decorations? (Joseph) Yep, there definitely are. You can see behind me right here that they do have decorations,so we got to look through them and, find the what?,(Melisa) The ones that matter?,(Joseph) I was gonna say the best, but okay. (Melisa) I thought you were gonna use a pun. (Joseph) No. (Melisa) Is there a pun for that?,(Joseph) I don't know. Is there?,(Melisa) Umm, I can't think of any. (Joseph) The ghoul-est?,(Melisa) Yeah, we'll find the ghoul-est of them all. There you go. You did it. (Joseph) Little cats.,(Melisa) You know I like the glitter. (Joseph) Ugh, that's gonna get all in our house. You're right.,(Melisa) I like glitter though. (Joseph) Do you like cleaning it up?,(Melisa) No, that's true. I don't mind if you clean it up though.,(Joseph) I have a problem with that.,(Melisa) (cackling) I don't.,(Melisa) They already have Christmas stuff up, but it hasn't been Halloween or Thanksgiving yet,Wow, consumerism at its finest,They have balloons that glow up in the dark. They kind of look like... (Joseph) Skulls. (Melisa) Yeah.,I don't like balloons though. That's what's scary. When they just randomly pop. Ugh, yuck. One of my biggest fears,(Melisa) Okay, so how do you think we did? (Joseph) We did good. We stayed on our budget,Someone... I'm not naming any names... did get some Haribo which put us over ten dollars for our total. (Melisa) Haribo gummy bears,(Joseph) Yes, so that put us over ten dollars for our total but it's not part of our decoration so our decorations were under ten dollars, again, not naming any names,But someone...got gummy bears. (Melisa) You better not try to get any of my gummy bears by the way.,if you're gonna give me a hard time,(Joseph) But yeah, I think we did good. We got enough. We're going for like a cutesy Halloween design,So I think it'll look cute. We do have a yard sign. So Melisa was vindicated. (Melisa) Woo hoo. (Joseph) So the outdoors will be decorated a bit,(Melisa) They were out of a lot though cuz it's getting close to Halloween, but we did pretty good,(Joseph) Yeah, so we're gonna go home and we're gonna decorate. (Melisa) Yay. Let's go.,All right, so we are back in the RV,We have everything laid out that we purchased,We have my Haribo gummy bears. So all is well. I'm gonna go ahead and,Open this right now. Get the energy I need,For decorating. (Joseph) I don't think that's a recommended energy source. (Melisa) They're so good,So we ended up going with like a little bit of a spider theme - would you say?,(Joseph) We have some spiders, and we have some bats. (Melisa) A bat and a spider theme. That's what I meant. So we got these two little,These two little bats, and we're gonna hang these.,We got our spooky sign for outside, and we got two sets of,window stickers,Really cute. Bats, spiders, and then,We got this little fake spider web,With a spider on it. I don't know if that glows in the dark,(Joseph) Probably does. (Melisa) But it's cute,And then we got the spider web which I'm gonna assign Joseph,To do because these are hard. Have you done these ever? (Joseph) No. (Melisa) They're hard to do. (Joseph) Why? (Melisa) I don't know, they're just very fickle. You gotta pull them apart really...,gently. I don't know. (Joseph) I'm married to you. I'm used to really fickle.,(Melisa) How dare you... (laughing),I missed. (Joseph) Again Melisa, we're not doing a 3D episode,We don't have that kind of budget,Oh and then we got these garlands. We got three sets of these, and they have little plastic bats on them.,(Joseph) Not 3D,(Melisa) Why do you keep saying that? (Joseph) Cuz you keep doing things that make it look like you're doing one of those... hokey,3D episodes from 90's sitcoms. (Melisa) Oh, like it's coming to the camera?,Anyway, I think we did pretty good, and,it's not gonna look as spooky as I promised but,It's gonna look cute. Is there a pun...,for that? (Joseph) No.,I can't think of one. God. (Joseph) Like cootie?,(Melisa)Cootie? (Joseph) Like cooties. (Melisa) I wouldn't say that's Halloween-ish - I'd say that's elementary school-ish.,We have my one decoration for outside,It's a spooky sign that apparently glows in the dark. I just realized that by reading the tag before I tore it off,So I'm trying to find a good place for it, I think...,Maybe right here? (Joseph) Can you get it to go in the ground? (Melisa) Oh, here's a spot,(Joseph) Hold it low on there so you're not breaking it.,I don't think we can hit that thing with a hammer. It's so flimsy it'll break,(Melisa) It's going in. (Joseph) Okay, you wanna turn it some so it faces the street a little more?,(Melisa) Tada. (Joseph) Secure that a little more. (Melisa) It's good. Look.,(Melisa) Spooky. Those eyes are spooky. Well, they're kind of goofy not spooky.,(Melisa) You creating a little burial site for it?,(Joseph) No, I'm just creating a little support.,(Joseph) A little bit.,(Melisa) Now they had the little fake tombstones, but we decided not to get them. Why?,(Melisa) Cuz it woulda looked dumb to have one. (Joseph) Well, no, I don't think that. It's just we had nowhere to put them,(Joseph) Where would we put 'em? They didn't have stakes or anything. (Melisa) They did have stakes. (Joseph) Oh they did? (Melisa) Yeah anyway,(Joseph) It's also not our property. We can't put too much stuff out. (Melisa) So from a distance. Let's see how this looks,Here's the RV park,All right, so people drive down this road,This is how our RV will look and then you have to zoom in,And then you can see the spooky sign,It will work. It's the effort that counts right?,(Joseph) Don't get hit by a car. Get out of the road.,(Melisa) Oh. Okay,All right, so that's it. That's our Halloween decorations for under $10 from the Dollar Tree store. What do you think?,I like it... a lot. I don't know why you wanted to make it scary,So I'm glad that we didn't.,I did want to make it scary.,I don't know how you thought we're gonna make it scary for ten dollars.,I don't know,I thought they'd have strobe lights or something.,For ten dollars?!,For a dollar.,at the Dollar Tree.,Strobe lights? How would that make it scary? You wanted to make it like a horror house... a haunted house?,Yes. (Joseph) No. (Melisa) It sounded like you said a whorehouse. (Joseph) A horror house. (Melisa) Okay. I wanted to be a little scary,Yeah, that's what I was going for. I don't think... I don't think the,Smiling pumpkin on the window looks scary, but it's okay. (Joseph) It might scare you. (Melisa) It gets us in the holiday spirit,(Joseph) I see the very high chance of you walking up late at night one night and being scared by the bat by accident,Or the spider. (Melisa) maybe, but I do like it. I think we got our money's worth and,It's a fun way to bring the holiday spirit here in our trailer,We're probably gonna just throw all these away when the holiday is over right? Because we don't really have storage,(Joseph) Sure. (Melisa) Yeah,So it's $10 to get into the holiday spirit. Anyway, this was our first video of our Halloweek video series,So make sure you click that subscribe button, hit the notification bell, and then that way you can stay up to date with all our videos,(Joseph) If they want to. Halloween 🎃 Outdoor Decor | Front Yard Halloween Decorations | DIY Outside Decorating Ideas 2021

Halloween 🎃 Outdoor Decor | Front Yard Halloween Decorations | DIY Outside Decorating Ideas 2021

hey everybody and welcome back to my,channel my name is keeley and today,we're decorating outside of my house for, halloween if you're new then this is,going to be part three of this whole, halloween decorating thing i have, already decorated my front porch and, inside my house and now we're working on,the front yard we're doing a diy, graveyard we're doing lots of budget, friendly outdoor decorations and i'm,sharing it all with you guys so you can,do it too i love halloween as you can, tell i am dressed for the occasion and, every time i try to film outside the, entire forest and all the bugs and the, birds and everything just wants to talk,to me so if you guys could please stop i,am not snow white i'm trying to make a,video here at this point in the fall and,in decorating season my blood type is,basically pumpkin spice because i've,been decorating for so long and i want, people to drive by my house and stop and, slow down i want them to be like oh my,gosh like that's been my goal since, childhood is for every holiday that you,can decorate outside i want my house to,be the one that kids go oh my gosh look,at that house so that's what we're doing, and that's what i do for every holiday,if you're new my name is keeley and i,love holidays they're my thing so let's,get started decorating outside also if,you haven't caught the first part i've,already decorated some inside my house, and my front porch so go and check those, out and there'll be more to come because,i also will be doing more inside my,house in another video and a whole, complete house tour after you've seen, this one so let's get going let's get, decorating because we got a lot to do,and it's already october y'all so i,built these tombstones for the graveyard, well actually tim built them i didn't so,these two are built out of old pallet, wood and this is just some like old, wood that we got it like goes um on the, bottom of a dresser it's really thin i'm,about to paint those and then i also got, these yard stakes from lowe's that i'm,gonna paint, and we're gonna attach like the chains, that i bought so they can kind of go,around all the gravestones i also have, two other gravestones that light up,so there should be a good amount of,gravestones in our graveyard i haven't,decided where i'm going to do it yet, there's like this area of my yard, and then there's,this area of the yard i do have a plan,to hang witch hats from the tree like, around the bottom of the tree in the, front so i don't know if i should do the, graveyard like, like right here i should do it like over, here,so spray paint is my best friend when it,comes to things like this it's super, quick and easy and inexpensive and for,the gravestones i'm just gonna spray, paint them gray and then put a little, black around the edges to make them more, like age looking feeling like a real, artist y'all,i picked up these yard stakes from, lowe's and my idea is to use them to,make like a fence around the graveyard,as well as put them on the back of the, gravestones so that i can stick them, into the ground i'm basically bob the, builder right now okay, for the front of the graves i'm just, going to paint a few names and things on,them i did put a couple from hocus pocus,of course and then beetlejuice i try to,remember that perfection isn't necessary, when it comes to outdoor decor it's,going to weather and it just needs to,look good for what i use it for you know, people probably aren't going to be,inspecting my tombstones on halloween, night either let's be honest and if they, are i guess that's on them,if you're new here my name is keeley i'm,30 years old and my middle name is,really rainbow i love halloween candy, but i don't think fun size candy bars, are actually any fun and it goes without, saying that holidays are my jam i make, youtube videos about motherhood diys, home decor and what it's like to be me,someone who's slightly domestic and, really really relatable,i have two daughters who are four or,nine and a husband who works in the oil, field which means he is hardly ever here, sometimes i lie about what time it is so,that bedtime can come sooner and i'm,only a pinterest mom if it can be done,in like less than 15 minutes,so if you relate to any of that and, you're not subscribed hopefully you will, you can also find me on tik tok and, instagram for more diys travel and daily, life stuff anyway let's get to know each, other first,do you like scary movies or no for, someone who likes halloween as much as i,do i actually really don't like scary, movies to tell you the truth, like let's be real adulthood is scary, enough already without needing it to be,more scary right,so for the witch hats i've been taking, the hat,so they're really cheap they're just i,bought all these from amazon i'll link, them below but either side of like the, very top i'm cutting like a little tiny, slit like and then i'm taking the, fishing line and i'm putting it through, the, holes that i cut so it's,on either side, right through here, and then i'm just feeding it through, until it's like about as far as i want,it hanging from the tree, then tie a knot that i have coming up,here it will go to the tree and then i'm,cutting this side a little bit,and this is gonna be what i attach to,the tea light,so then i'll feed that back through the, hole, that i cut,and reach up,and grab it so now,it hangs, like this and there's also some, fishing line inside to hang a tea light, off of if you want to so there's that, and now we're going to put them up after,i do,all of them because i have a lot thank, you amazon,so i know everyone's seen the hanging, witch hatch trend and they look so cute,i have some inside already actually but,i knew i needed some outside too you, could say that i was influenced,i thought they really fit in well with, the vibe i was going for though and it's,a super inexpensive and easy way to like, make a statement you know on amazon i,think i spent less than like a dollar, each too and thanks to my husband we,already had the fishing line of course, and this is a way better use of it than, fishing let's be real,if you've watched me before you know i,like to ball out on a budget and if,you're new i'll go ahead and put that, out there now my decor is definitely not,the most expensive on the block and it's,definitely not always perfect but that's,okay i like diying stuff,i love sharing the process with you guys, even if it's not always glamorous and i,love hearing that y'all think i'm,relatable i also love seeing your decor, too so if you post it somewhere be sure,to tag me as long as your decorations, make you happy then that is all you need, holiday decorating shouldn't stress you,out or make you envious of someone it's,supposed to bring you joy so even if you, just have a little bit of decor tag me,anyway i want to see it and don't stress,i'm sure it looks awesome,so for the little fence around my,graveyard i took the yard stakes that i,painted black and hammered them into the, ground and then i used these dollar, store chains to connect them to like, make it look spooky and stuff it,actually worked out and looked really, good for the fact that the whole thing, cost me like less than ten dollars, okay so i just put these up,you can kind of see the front,i'm gonna have two things on either side, and then like the graveyard behind it,and there's the witch's hats hanging, from the tree i think this is gonna be,like my,entrance to the graveyard, right here,so if you're not subscribed yet i want,to let you know what you'll be seeing, from my channel in the next few months, and hopefully i can convince you to,stick around in my next few videos i'll,be sharing some more halloween stuff, more decor diys and inspiration the next, video after this is going to be more, indoor decor i still have to decorate my,kitchen my entryway and i'm doing my,bedroom y'all i'm also planning on,sharing a few super easy diys and, recipes for halloween and maybe even a,charcuterie board if i get really frisky, october is all about halloween over here, then in november i'll be jumping onto, thanksgiving and christmas and sharing a,thanksgiving homemaking video as well as,tons of christmas diys gift ideas and, decor obviously if you love holidays or,need any inspiration or relatable ideas, then this is the place for you to be,okay so i got those in the ground which, was actually a little bit harder than i,thought it was gonna be i am like, melting now and it's not even that hot, outside yet and i'm in the shade ford, that i made are up i have two more, inside that i have to paint that i,bought from ross i'll show you guys, those in a minute when i paint them next,up we have this guy this is from walmart,um the story about how i got him is a,little embarrassing because i tried to,order him for pickup and on the app it,said that there was three in stock so i,knew that he was in the store somewhere, because it said that they were in stock, but then when i tried to order them from, pickup it wasn't in stock so or like, they said it wasn't in stock so i was, like i bet they're in there,so previously in the past i have walked, through the garden center and seen like,a ton of halloween boxes so i was like, let me just go back there and like see,if i see,one like laying around you know because, they've been like going through stuff, back there so then i found him he was, just like laying in the garden center, and i was like oh my god i need it so i,got him out of the garden center um,because i guess they hadn't gotten, around to putting him on the shelf yet,but i was like i know you're in there, but now he's mine so we're gonna put him,up,so the skeleton was a little tricky to,get standing obviously for only 28 bucks, she wasn't the most sturdy but by the, miracle of zip ties and patience i made,it happen even if for half of this clip, she looks like she's twerking in my face, anyway i used one of the extra stakes to,support her and then i also zip tied her, hand to one of the fence stakes that i,already had hammered in and it all, worked out in the end,i don't know why i ever get cute for, these videos because i end up out here, sweating in october like sweating,so he's standing i'm gonna use some of,the other, yard stakes the little steaks not gonna, work he's not like sturdy enough in his, joints so,i think,if i yardstake him up and then like, you won't really be able to tell i don't,know let's just let's just keep going, with it shall we,as always if you have any questions, about products make sure to check down, below i try to link things that i used,or at least something similar a lot of,my decor is sentimental from my parents,or just things i've collected over the, years so sometimes i can't link them but,i always try,he's standing he's up so i always get a,ton of questions on how i hook up all my,lights and how i do all of that so i,have an obscene number of power cords, and that is for a couple reasons one, because this is what i do every year and,two because my husband he's very handy, and he likes to fix things and do things, and so we just have a lot of that kind,of stuff just like i have a lot of,random screws and a lot of random wood, and a lot of random like zip ties and, like everything i need to like make, something happen or like pull it out of,my butt to make it happen one outlet so,i have one outlet on my porch and it is,connected to the same outlets that are,in my garage like on the i don't know i,don't know anything about power i just, know that i um trip the breaker every, year for every holiday so right now i'm,gonna go hook up the blow up that goes,on the other side of the yard it's just,a big pumpkin it kind of goes with the, vibe you know like we got pumpkins out, here it's fine,so the major diy decoration i'm making, for this video is for the graveyard i,really wanted like an entrance to my,graveyard so i made some pillars for, either side of the entrance for this, project you need two foam poster boards, and some styrofoam i bought my styrofoam, from lowe's and my poster board from, walmart,i started out by cutting each poster, board in half i didn't cut it all the,way through though so i could like fold,it and then i duct taped both of them, together to make the inside of the, pillar,it makes like this long square cylinder, type thing then i measured out a top and, bottom with a styrofoam,i used hot glue to secure the top and, bottom on to the square that i made, and then i also made a smaller square to,go on to the very top to make it look a,little more fancy i guess, and then on the very top of each one i,mounted a plastic pumpkin bucket that i,had spray-painted gray, then i taped up all of the edges with, duct tape as well as the bottom to make, sure it would hold up i mean after all, duct tape lasts forever, after building both of them i took them, outside to spray paint them again, love spray paint i sprayed them both, gray all over and then used some black, paint and a little brush to make the, edges a little more you know rustic, looking and give it some character i,don't know what i'm doing y'all i'm not,an artist okay but i just went with it,and cali even helped a little bit too, once the pillars were dry i moved them, out to my yard where they needed to be,they're pretty light obviously so i did,end up sitting some small gray bricks on,the back of them to hold them down, because if it gets the least bit windy, obviously they're going to blow away, since they're made of styrofoam but you, could probably put some yard stakes into, them too if you had some on hand i just, didn't have any i did have bricks i do,think they turned out really good and, they were actually pretty simple to make, except for styrofoam is kind of messy so,you know keep that in mind but overall, pretty easy diy and very inexpensive and, they turned out pretty good what do you, think,so i also ended up adding some spiderweb,i hate this kind of spiderweb so this is,the only place in the yard that has them, this year it never comes off of anything, and by the time i finally get around to,pulling it off of my bushes and stuff, actual spiders have made it their home,or it's christmas so it's not my,favorite but it needed something so,spiderweb it is anyway in the spirit of,making it spooky and stuff here it is,along with some giant spiders that i got, last year at walmart i do love these and, they creep me out i don't i don't know, why there's just something about spiders,y'all,i also had these gravestones that i,picked up from ross to paint i actually, was really surprised to find them there, and i bought both of the ones they had, because they were only like six dollars, and they're lighted so i'm really, excited about that honestly and so eric, and i each painted one and they turned, out really cute,so i still had some decor left over in,my boxes and if you know me you know i,had to use it this ghost was just like a,plain little hanging happy ghost but i,also had some extra spooky fabrics i,added to the top of him and now he looks,a little bit like a dementor but i'll,take it so you just gotta sometimes look, around reinvent some of the stuff you, have and make it into something new also, pay attention because in just a minute, you're gonna hear some random people, tell me that they like my decor which is,nice but i'm also filming in my front, yard so that's kind of awkward as if the, people in my neighborhood didn't think i,was a weirdo enough already here we are, thanks,so this witch is something that my mom,has had for like 15 years and i just, recently inherited her thanks mom i love, vintage halloween so this is perfect i,put her out on this tree even though, she's a small detail seeing my mom's,decor that i've had for years brings me,such joy honestly decor for me is more, about the memories and the sentiment, than actually being trendy like don't,get me wrong i love trendy decor but, there's something special about the, pieces that you've grown up with and, stuff you know like i just love that, for some final touches i added some bats, around the side of my garage because,it's freaking bath y'all and i love, halloween if you know you know, and i gave my skeleton friend this, killer sign from the dollar tree that, says trick or treat as well as a witch, hat that is zip tied under her head and,a cauldron bucket to hold there's,definitely no shortage of detail in this, one, you know my favorite thing about, halloween is aside from the fact that,it's one of the only holidays where it's,socially acceptable to walk around your, neighborhood with your kids drinking, beer and asking for free stuff, anyway i really love that it's like the, doorway to the best time of the year, like starting in october everything gets,so much more exciting, probably tiring too if you're a mom but, also way more fun it's just so like, magical and stuff you know i love making, holidays fun and shameless plug here i,share a lot of my easy and fun things to,do over on my tick tock on instagram so,if you aren't already following me there, you definitely should, like i mentioned before i like to think,of myself as like an easy baked, pinterest mom like as long as it takes, less than 15 minutes to make the magic,i'm here for it so give me a follow, for my lights you know i had to be extra,so i broke out the spotlights these are, color changing spotlights that were, gifted to me by the company and i love, them they're sold on amazon so of course, they'll be linked down below too they, have a ton of different settings and, colors a flash in different patterns and, they have a timer which is awesome i,would absolutely recommend these and, plan to use them at christmas also i,picked purple and pink for tonight, because i just feel like it gives a,really nice eerie glow to the graveyard, just wait y'all see this at night, okay so that's a wrap y'all my outdoor, decor is done and it's time to see the, finished product so get excited and make, sure you stay until the end to see it at,night, the at night shots are great and i'm so,pumped with how this turned out, especially since i did it on such a good, budget as always i want to thank you all,so much for watching and hanging out, with me today i love you guys so much, and the support on these halloween, videos has been amazing so thank you so,much and hi if you are new,if you're new and you haven't subscribed, yet please consider subscribing and if,no one's told you today you're doing a,great job i'll talk to you all next time,so,so,you

$1 POOL NOODLE HALLOWEEN HACKS (DOLLAR TREE DIYS for OUTDOOR & INDOOR use that will impress)

$1 POOL NOODLE HALLOWEEN HACKS (DOLLAR TREE DIYS for OUTDOOR & INDOOR use that will impress)

what's a bargain family so today's video,is all about Halloween DIYs using the,Dollar Tree pool noodles you gotta let,me know your favorite DIY down in the, comments mine is definitely the second,DIY you're gonna see now let's begin for,our first project I'm going to be using,Blackpool noodles from Dollar Tree as,well as their black duct tape I'm using, four pool noodles each pool noodle I'm,making two legs with by cutting the pool, noodles in half then I take those halves, and cut them in an angle that way I can, take these pieces and make them look, more like a spider leg by using my duct, tape to tape them together now for the, body of this I am going to be using the, small balls that I got from Dollar Tree, for the heads and these bigger balls I,got at Walmart for two dollars and fifty, cents for the body grab your duct tape, and cut a bunch of pieces at least three, inches long you can go longer than that,if you want to you're going to use this,to tape down the legs you want to put at,least three strips going down on the, legs to the ball and if you can do four,do four it's just hard to do four on,each one you can't use hot glue to,attach the legs on because the hot glue, comes right off after it dries you'll,actually have to tape down the smaller, pieces of tape so put as much tape as,you can down there any area that you can,put it put it you want it to be nice and, secure to attach the head to the body, use masking tape I took this outside and, spray painted this with a black spray, paint if you want to do something, cheaper you can always use an outside, acrylic paint I painted some red eyes on,the front of my smaller ball and then I,did a little smiley face because I,didn't want a creepy spider I made, another version of this but this version,I like better this version I got a dish, drain mat from Dollar Tree and I glue, the pool noodles to the mat I like this, version better just because I felt like, the legs were more secured on there I,just pick it up by the dish drain and I,place it down on the ground you can use, something to tie it down into your, ground and then you could place the, balls on top of that or glue them on top,of the pool noodles and that's how I,need these giant spiders with Dollar,Tree pool noodles this is going to work, best in fall and cooler temperatures not, humidity because you do not want the, masking tape glue to melt off I,purchased this Halloween decor from the, store at home for 9.99 and afterward I,was like I can make this with the pool, noodle so I took a white pool noodle and,I cut a bunch of pieces down and then, take a pen and I drew on the face, basically try to make the same face as,the home decor piece I got from at home, then I used an X-Acto Knife to cut out,the areas of pool noodle that I do not, want on the bottom of each piece I'm,making I cut little slits so I can, pretty much make legs out of the pool, noodle I also used a pool noodle to,create hands the way I did this was take,a piece of pool noodle and slice it,right down the middle and then I just, use my knife to just create the best I,could a hand I'm going to be gluing down,my pool noodles to foam plates I got, from Dollar Tree so I put glue at the, bottom where I cut those slits and then,I push it down onto the plate and I hold,it in place as I wake for the glue to,dry and I pour more hot glue on each, piece because I really want to make sure,it's attached to the plate and it's not, just going to come right off once that's,glued down I glue on the hands and then,I take the hot glue gun and start, creating drips it's basically supposed,to be melting wax that's what I think, the thing I bought is I think it's,supposed to be a melting type of candle, but I ended up making one that looks, like a tree too because this ends up,looking like a treat to me the first few, creatures I made I tried to mimic what I,had bought so I used a cream color paint,as the base color and then I went in,with white paint and white paint that I,mixed with black paint to highlight and, shade areas I mainly shaded around the, mouth and the eyes and then where there, are drips to really get it to stand out,and I just you know I messed around with, this to get the right amount of depth, that I wanted and also to get the look, that I wanted like I said these ended up,looking like trees to me so I decided to,paint two pieces to look like trees so I,used brown tones to paint this so I did,a base color and then I went in with, some darker colors and lighter colors to,highlight and shade out of one pool, noodle a dollar and 25 cents I made four,of these creatures if you do not have, glue paint or foam plates at home you,can buy this at Dollar Tree and it would, still be less than the one creature I,bought from at home and they turned out,so cool I especially love the ones that,I painted brown you guys have seen me,make Christmas lollipops out of pool, noodles but don't just use them for,Christmas time they are perfect for the,Halloween season for this project I,highly recommend getting long zip ties,so what you're going to do is you're,going to use your hot glue gun again on,a low setting I want to repeat this, because if you use hot it just melts the, entire thing and what you're gonna do is,you're gonna start rolling your pool, noodle to create a swirl shape that, looks like a lollipop as you glue and, roll in your pool noodle Hold On Tight,if you let go it's gonna unravel on you,you gotta wait for the glue to dry and, that's where the zip ties come in real, handy because you can put them around, the pool noodle as the glue dries and it,doesn't unravel on you and you don't,have to just sit there holding on to,this for dear life for my lollipop stick,I'm using a wooden dowel that I got from,Walmart you can always use the broom, handles from Dollar Tree if you want to,go with a Dollar Tree product then once, the glue has completely dried you can, take the zip tie off I took that black, glitter foam that I had and I cut out, pieces of a jack-o-lanterns feature so,eyes nose and a mouth and I'm going to,be gluing this to my pole I want to say, this the bottom last piece of pool, noodle that gets glued down that one, always just kind of seems to unravel, don't worry about it because you can, always cover it up if you want to get a,striped look to your lollipops use a,masking tape or a duct tape again you, could get something at Dollar Tree I'm,wrapping this white one around my pool, noodle then I go ahead I roll it in and, glue it down zip tie it together wait, for the glue to dry and this time around,I'm doing a Frankenstein look so I used, black foam with some white foam and pink, foam to cut out some features that I'm,going to glue to the front of this, lollipop these are unique this is not, just the regular striped lollipops that,I do during Christmas time then I'm,going to make some bows I just used some, ribbon both ribbons I had gotten from,Hobby Lobby I just used what I had on,hand Dollar Tree does carry Halloween, ribbon if you want to go that route I,just make basic bows I'm not good at,this now Dollar Tree has these candy, corn picks I bought some and took the, candy corn off of the pig then glue them,to the front of the bow and then I just, glue the bows to my lollipops and like I,said the bows are great for hiding that, bottom area that kind of looks a little, funny you could put this inside of the, house or outside of the house I love, these these are my second favorite in,this video and you could put a plastic, wrap over this if you want to especially,if you live in an area where it tends to,rain in the month of October I didn't do,that because I didn't want the sun, bouncing off of that and then it doesn't,look good on camera moving a ride along,to our next project I'm going to be,using three pole noodles for this, project and I'm going to cut one of the, pool noodles into three pieces that are,the same length I'm going to be,attaching these pieces I was using a,wooden dowel from Dollar Tree at first,to attach these pieces with some hot, glue but then I realize you can just get, away with just hot glue I wanted the, pool noodles to be mainly black so I,went in with some black paint I still, wanted purple to be showing through and, then I wanted to age this up a bit so I,went in with some white paint and I dry, brushed it on to get more of that, ancient wooden look I purchased some of,these decorations from Dollar Tree they, had some small ghosts and pumpkins that,I purchased and then a bigger ghost I'm,going to be gluing these pieces to the, ladder so the smaller ones I glued to,the steps of the ladder as you glue them, you hold them as the glue dries and then, you can let go of them if you let go too, soon they're doing a fall right off the, bigger pieces you can glue on just fine, you don't have to hold them into place, now I've purchased some black foam board, from Dollar Tree I wanted to cut out a b,and two o's so that I can spell out boo,and put that on top of the ladder I,painted the ladders to get them to stand, out and that's how I made this ladder, using the Dollar Tree pool noodles it is,so cute you can use this outside you, just gotta make sure that you tie it,down somehow just because it's very, lightweight for this next DIY you're,going to take your pool noodle and cut,it down into pieces that vary in height, you can have pieces that are similar you,can have pieces that are all different, just have different variations of height,I want a glittery look to my pool, noodles to achieve this I am using this, glitter foam that I got from Hobby Lobby, and I like this because you have the, glitter look without all of the mess so,what I do is I take my pool noodles and,I place them on top of the foam and,Trace out the height that I need and, then just cut that down to the height, and width that I need and I do this for, every single pool noodle like I said I,like this because you don't end up,having to use messy glitter and it ends,up everywhere I then just used a hot, glue gun to glue my foam to the pool, noodles I'm also going to cut circles, out of the glitter foam I just take one,end of the pool noodle trace it on top,of the foam and then cut it I'm going to,be using these LED tea lights from,Dollar Tree I placed them on top of the, pool noodle and then I use my X-Acto,Knife to cut out some of the pool, noodles so I can push these lights, through there I pushed the tea lights, through the little circles that I had,cut out I don't want them to be glued, down because I want to be able to lift, the tea lights up to turn them off this,is when I then glue all of the pool, noodles together like I said they're,supposed to be candles so I start with, the tallest in the back and then work my,way down to the shortest one I then I'm,going to take my hot glue gun and I'm,going to create a dripping look at the,top to make it look like melting wax now,I only glue at the front of these little, circle pieces at the top because again, you need to be able to turn on and off, your lights so I'm able to lift from the, back to turn on and off my lights I got, these little spiders from Dollar Tree, six come in a pack for a dollar 25 cents,I decided to glue those all around the, candles I made a set of these for,Christmas time last year they're just so,easy to do and they're super cool and,you don't have to use the glitter if you, want to you can just go straight pool, noodle that's it you can turn these, candles into floating candles what, you'll need is a needle I recommend, getting a longer needle and a clear, string this is some jewelry string I got, from Hobby Lobby you can use fishing, line whatever so what you're going to do,is you're going to push the needle with, the E string through the pool noodle, then tie the ends of the string together, and these are going to hang off of some,Command hooks so I'm using these metal,Command hooks that's what they're going,to be hanging off of I attached the, hooks to the ceiling with the adhesive, they come with and these hooks I got, from Walmart you can get them almost, anywhere I varied the length of all the, strings that went through the pool, noodles that way there would be,different heights to how they float and, that's it floating candles we can't do a,pull noodle video without making a,wreath the pool noodles are great for, making bigger wreath forms because,Dollar Tree doesn't carry big ones, unless it's the wire ones and those can,be kind of rough to work with if you're,working with anything other than tulle,so what you do is if you want to make, the wreath even bigger you can attach, multiple pool noodles together by using, some duct tape from Dollar Tree and, that's exactly what I did I attached two, together but I did cut down one of the, second pieces because I didn't want it,too big and then to decorate this I'm,going to be using some ornaments that I,got from Dollar Tree I did remove the,top piece off of the ornaments because I,didn't want them there and then I used,my hot glue gun on the low setting to,start attaching my ornament to the, wreath I recommend using a mix of things, from Dollar Tree don't use just, ornaments so I got these spiders from,Dollar Tree and these are really good, for covering up spaces on the inside and, outside of the wreath and then I got, these pumpkins and I use those as,fillers as well as the smaller ornaments, from Dollar Tree I just use one pack, there as fillers to fill any little, areas that really needed to be filled, when I make pool noodle wreaths I don't,always cover the back portion of the, pool noodle because it's really not that, visible and it costs more money to do,that so I'd mainly just focus on the, front part of the wreath to hang the, wreath I just push it through a command, hook and that's it I love making pool, noodle wreaths because the pool noodle,is just a great wreath form you can make,it really big and it's really, inexpensive to do from the side profile, you can see what I'm talking about, there's no ornaments going on the back, sides of the pool noodle wreath I guess,is the best way to put it and that's,because you don't see it so I save money,by not putting anything there so that's,it for the video I hope you guys enjoyed,it and again let me know down in the, comments below your favorite DIY I will, see you guys next time take care bye

10 Over The Top Halloween Decorations

10 Over The Top Halloween Decorations

top ten over-the-top Halloween, decorations number ten New Jersey,Gina and rich Montano from Wayne New,Jersey have put on large Halloween, displays every year since 2013 but and,2019 they pulled out all the stops to,take things to a whole new level they've,always used inflatables as their, decorations of choice and this year they, used more than 200 across their property, virtually their entire lawn and the, front of their home was covered in,ghosts pumpkins cats zombies and, virtually everything else you associate, with the holiday it was even a shark and,r2d2 and a Mickey Mouse the decorations, were so over-the-top that visitors came, from around the state to see it for, themselves, but for those who weren't able to make, the trip there's only a few weeks to,wait because the family also do exactly, the same thing for Christmas as well, just spare a thought for their poor, neighbors number 9,spooky bungalow every year rock Dawson a,grandfather from Cornwall in the UK,shows just how serious he is about,Halloween by putting on a massive, display at his house in 2019 he spent, more than 16 thousand dollars on new, decorations but instead of putting them,on the exterior of his house he creates,a series of themed rooms inside this is,all done in aid of a charitable cause, and Dawson enlists the help of,volunteers to guide visitors through the, spooky rooms to help raise money after, starting in a dark hallway with, projections and skeletons hanging from, the ceiling visitors are taken into the, butchers quarters which is decorated, with severed body parts from here, there's also a witch's room with a baby,in a cauldron a pirate room a Freddy,Krueger room a tombstone room and even a,haunted alien room thousands visit the, house each year and Dawson has to give, warning to the local authorities to,ensure they're prepared for the influx,of people the biggest surprise perhaps,is that the owner doesn't actually like, scary movies himself but in a sign of,how much a part of his life that,Halloween is one of his grandchildren, was actually born on October 31st number,8 Canberra Australia Halloween is,slightly different in Australia what, with it being in the summer but even, though the evenings are warmer and, lighter this doesn't stop people from, going just as over the top with their, decorations in 2019 a family from,Canberra continued their yearly, tradition of creeping out pasture buys,by installing a graveyard, zombies crawling across their lawn and a,giant red back spider crawling across, the house when the Sun finally sets, things take on an even creepier vibe, with spooky music playing from speakers, around the property and soft lighting, all over within days of Halloween being, over the family has already started, planning what they'll do next year they, said that after having such a massive, spider on the house they don't have any, choice but to try and top it number 7,Bristol UK one man from Bristol in the,UK has spent almost ten thousand dollars,on Halloween decorations over the past, few years but rather than putting them,up for everyone to see for the day's,around the holiday he only displays them,on October 31st itself,Simon Knight takes the day off work and, sets himself a deadline of having, everything completed by 5:00 p.m. in,time for a ceremony to turn on the, lights in preparation for the,trick-or-treaters to arrive the, decorations include three giant spiders, three witches lots of skeletons and a,seven-foot tall buckler who talks to you,if you get too close to him they, finished the display with a huge number,of fake cobwebs projectors and speakers, that play creepy music and have, volunteers on hand to collect money for, their chosen charity, before we move on be sure to subscribe,to top 5s with notifications on number 6,Rochester in 2018 a household in a,Northwest neighborhood of Rochester New,York became known around the town as the, place to go to see the best Halloween, display organized by Christie Boyer the, property was covered with more than 100,decorations including giant inflatable, minions pumpkins ghosts ghouls and, virtually everything else you could, think of its another instance where,we're sure the neighbors wouldn't have, been too happy about it but Boyer uses, her display every year for good causes, she encourages those who visit to bring, along food or money and this is all, given to the Regional Food Bank to help, less fortunate people over the winter, months number five,Hogwarts Texas if you're a fan of Harry,Potter then you'll know that Hogwarts is,the school of magic that's located, somewhere within the English countryside, once a year though the fabled building, seems to move across the Atlantic and, turns up in Texas just in time for,Halloween it's a tradition that was, begun by the Potter loving pace family a,few years ago to help cheer them up,while the mother was undergoing cancer, treatment and now has become a yearly, occurrence that people come to see for, miles around, they have recreated Diagon Alley along, with a number of shops that sell,Quidditch supplies magic wands and ice, cream as well as a red British phone box,and a graveyard with the tombstones of,characters that didn't make it out of,the books or the movies alive the family, has made all of these decorations, themselves with everything having been, cut from foam boards and then molded, into shape the family learned to do this, because they previously made everything, from cardboard but after a particularly, rainy Halloween they realized it wasn't,the best building, they've also recreated Kings Cross, station and the Hogwarts Express a,three-story Knight bus and a smoked, breathing dragon thousands of people, come from around Texas to get their, chance to enter the world of Harry,Potter and following their success the, family has plenty of plans for what, they'll do next, number four Parma Ohio Halloween, decorations are meant to be a fun way to,celebrate the spookiest night of the, year but sometimes people take their, ideas a little too far in 2015 a family,at Parma Ohio attracted complaints for, their realistic looking additions to,their front yard which just so happened,to be on the same clock as the local, elementary school included within the, horrifying display was a man upside down,on a crucifix with syringes sticking out,of his neck a blood-covered body wrapped,in plastic sheets and a person impaled,on a spike with a dagger through his, mouth some children walk past thought, these were real bodies and while,Halloween is all about scaring people, most agreed this was too much the family, eventually relented and agreed to take, the more horrific objects down though, unsurprisingly kids still avoid this, house every year when they're,trick-or-treating number 3 Washington,County,in 2019 a restaurant in Monongahela, washington county put up one of the best,Halloween displays you'll see anywhere, the owners of Angelo's too love to put,out all the stops with their festive, decorations and their designs almost, feel as if they're alive on top of the, building is an inflatable Stay Puft,Marshmallow Man from ghostbusters and, spooky green tentacles emerge from all,of the windows reaching up towards the, roof it's an impressive enough display, during the day but when the Sun sets and,the lights switch on it looks like, something straight out of a movie every, year they try to outdo their last, attempt so we can't wait to see what, they come up with next number two, holy hill skeletons there's a street in,Wisconsin called holy Hill Road which, has for years become synonymous with,Halloween and draws huge crowds from all, around cars lined the roads and people, are everywhere trying to get a better, look because this is one of the largest, displays of Halloween skeletons anywhere,in the world known as the holy hill, skeletons the organizer Jimmy Samsa, chooses a new theme each year and, dresses the skeletons accordingly first,it was a speed boat pulling skeletons in,bikinis then it was skeletons on workout, equipment the year after was a Dancing, with the Stars inspired scene and, there's even been a bony Wizard of Oz,and a Super Bowl version in 2019 the, theme was a sports bar complete with a,band a poker game a pool table a Jacuzzi,a dartboard and a bowling lane with, skeletons taking part in all of the, activities has become such a popular, annual event that a team of volunteers, helped to build the display a week, before Halloween and it gets bigger and, better each year, number one the pumpkin palace everyone, has carved a pumpkin for Halloween at,some point in their lives and you'll,have seen them outside countless homes, around the end of October with the,tell-tale,orange glow but have you ever seen a,pumpkin display on the scale of this one, from West Virginia no one is the pumpkin, palace it's organized by the Griffith, family with a team of volunteers who, together create a jack-o'-lantern for, every resident of their town of Canova, despite being a small town this means, they make more than 3,000 pumpkins which, are then displayed across their lawn and, their house to do this a local farm, delivers the pumpkins hundreds of,volunteers help to carve them and a team,of electricians and carpenters to help, light the display and build the, structures for them to stand on more, than 30,000 people visit the palace each, year and it's such a draw that food, trucks park up along the street to help, feed everyone, subscribe to top fives for more and, check out some of our other popular, videos, you

DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

what's wrecking family so you guys asked, for halloween diys and that's what i'm,bringing to you today dollar tree is,getting it a bunch of halloween decor, right now and though it looks like fall, behind me it's actually 91 degrees, outside so let me know the weather near, you is it feeling like fall at all, anyways let's begin the video the next, time you're in dollar tree pick up one,of their mop heads they carry them on,their own or you can buy the one that, has a handle attached to it this part is,optional but hear me out it looks way, better if you untwist the fabric that's,twisted on the mop creating thinner, pieces you want your mop to be stiff so,use a max hold hairspray and spray one, side once it's dry flip the mop over and, spray the other side i used suave max, hold hairspray i then spray painted my,mop using a brown spray paint you can,use acrylic paint if you like it's just, more time consuming and i also like that, the spray paint helps stiffen the mop, even more once the spray paint has dried,i brought the mop inside and used a,light brown paint to create some, highlights we're trying to make the mop, look like a straw broom i've included, some rope on top of the mop to make it,look more aged now this is how you're,going to get your broom to move go to,five below and pick up a remote control, car for five dollars you'll need to use, something flat like a square block to,attach the mop and the card together, flip your mop over to reveal the plastic, piece that is underneath the mop and, then use a heavy duty glue like e6000 to,attach the wood block to the mop and to,the car i also use some hot glue because,it just dries more quickly and makes, things go a little bit faster you can,use the mop handle that comes with the,mop if you like but i decided to use a,wooden dowel that i got for around a,dollar and fifty cents from walmart just, because it's very lightweight i also, painted this doll a brown color and then, glued some rope to the top of it to give,it a more antique reason you have to,stiffen up the mop is so that the fabric, doesn't keep getting stuck underneath, the car wheels it just kind of floats, with the car this is an original idea, that i had to think real hard on how to,make it work it does work it cost me ten, dollars to make when it retails for, eighty dollars on amazon and make sure, you follow me on tick tock because i,plan on doing something similar using a,roomba, every year dollar tree gets in these, ghosts if you have a ceiling fan you can,do a cool hack with these what you're,going to do is you are just going to tie, them to the ceiling fan i'm using twine,to attach mines to the ceiling fans and, guess what, that's it you just tie them to the, ceiling fan then turn the ceiling fan on,it looks like there is ghost flying, around your house and don't worry the, ghosts are very lightweight so they, won't be bending any of the fans on your, ceiling fan this is an easy hack to do,and it looks really really cool if the, fabric is a little bit too long for you,you can always trim that down, the next time you're in dollar tree pick,up two cocoa plant liners you won't,believe what you can make with these, you're going to place them inside of,each other to basically make a pacman, head shape and when you have that shape, down you can then glue them to each, other hold the cocoa liners together, until the glue has completely dried and, then move on to gluing another section, when you're in dollar tree pick up a,broom handle you're going to trace the, broom handle on the bottom of your, coconut liner and create a hole using, some scissors you're then going to push, the handle through that hole now it's,time to paint your coconut liner i'm,using a lime green color on the coconut, liner i recommend using a paint sponge,to paint this it makes it so much easier, and do a stippling motion versus a,stroke the edge of the coconut liners, has what looks already like a lip so i,painted that area red i also used black, paint i mixed it with my green paint and, with my red paint to shade different, areas and then i used the black paint on,its own especially in the inside of the, mouth our mouth needs teeth i'm going to,be using craft foam i got from hobby, lobby but dollar tree also carries white, craft foam it's just hard to find, sometimes i glue them inside of the, mouth just using hot glue and i don't,like to keep them all white so i use, some shades of brown paint to just dirty,up the teeth a little bit now i got a,pool noodle from dollar tree i cut it,down to about three feet and i push my,broomstick through the pool noodle now,i'm going to be using a planter i got, from dollar general for ten dollars,we're flipping it over and we're using, our drill to create a big hole at the, bottom this way we can place our, broomstick through this hole you don't,want it to be too big otherwise the, broomstick is gonna fall right over i,placed some gravel and stones at the, bottom of this the stones were from, dollar tree and the gravel was from, walmart you just want this to be,weighted at the bottom so it's not easy,to tip over i ended up painting the pool, noodle i just used a darker green black, and brown paint once i have that done,it's time to attach some fake greenery, now this greenery i got at hobby lobby, you can use dollar tree greenery but you,end up spending more at dollar tree than, you do just going to a craft store and, getting it on sale and when i glued the, greenery to the coconut liner i held it,in place while i wait for the glue to,dry that's how i made these almost five, feet tall venus fly traps and i made, them for under 25 i only needed four, dollar tree products plus the greenery, from hobby lobby which was eight dollars, and then the planter which was ten, dollars, okay for this project you want to pick,up some gift boxes from dollar tree i,went with two of these cylinder shapes, and i'm removing the lid you're also, going to need some craft foam i,purchased this big pack from walmart you,get 50 sheets for a little over five, dollars i'm starting off with the bigger, cylinder and i'm taking the lime green, foam and cutting it out to go around the, cylinder i'll also be cutting a piece, that's going to go on the top once i,have those pieces cut i use some glue to,attach them to the cylinder boxes i used, foam glue on the bigger pieces that go,on the sides just because sometimes hot, glue can mess with the shape of foam so,i didn't want any weird lines going, through the pieces on the side i'm going,to be making three different tiers the, bottom one is supposed to be a little, frankenstein so i use my black foam to,create some hairs stitches the eyes and,the mouth now for the second tier i go,ahead and glue the box on top of my,frankenstein and this one i turned into,a ghost so i used white foam for this, and then black foam for the features i,decided i wanted to do one more smaller, tier i didn't use a box for this but, dollar tree does carry small boxes you,can use in the craft supply section if,you want instead i just took the foam, and created a cylinder shape with that, foam and this is supposed to be a tiny, little pumpkin you guys know i love to,make fake sweets on this channel and i,usually do these with spackle i decided,to do one that's done without spackle to,give you guys some options i'm gonna be,using pom poms from dollar tree as the, icing for this as well as some ribbon, and this ribbon i got at hobby lobby on,sale for a dollar and fifty cents you, just hot glue them wherever you see fit,and if you want to go with tobacco you, most definitely can finally i just, painted on a little bit more features, for instance some more whites on the eye,and then i wanted to give my ghost and,the pumpkin some cheeks so i use the, light pink pink to do that and that's,how you make a foam and pom pom cake, instead of doing the spackle and of,course you can always add spackle to,this to truly make it look like a cake, either way this is adorable and so easy,to do recently on my channel i shared, with you guys how to make a giant, gingerbread house out of dollar tree, foam board i knew when i did that we had,to make a haunted house so i picked up,some black foam board from dollar tree, and i recommend having a box cutter or,an x-acto knife on hand to cut through, your foam board i like using an l,bracket just to figure out where to cut, exactly and get a straight line now i'm,not going to give you guys the exact, dimensions for this because it's a,little bit hard for me to do but, basically figure out a haunted house, design that you want to make i make sure, both the front and the back of the, haunted house are the exact same thing i,also ended up cutting out some little, pieces that are going to go in the front,of the house so it pops out a little bit, more i'm going to put fairy lights, inside of my haunted house so i need, windows so that you can actually see the, fairy lights so i just go ahead and i,cut out windows i don't try to make, every window the exact same size as the, window i cut before i just try my best, with it now once you have all your walls, cut you can then start gluing them to a,base a foam board now you're going to,have a lot of scrapped leftover pieces,of foam board cut those pieces into, smaller pieces that you're gonna use to,help support your walls so as you glue, your walls down you layer some of those, little scrap pieces to just help keep, everything nice and upright i used five, pieces of foam board to do this and let,me tell you guys it really was so easy,to do,now the truly fun part decorating the, house i got these black webs from dollar, tree and i just placed them on top of,the haunted house like i said i want to,put fairy lights inside of my haunted, house i got these from amazon i'll link, them down below they're remote, controlled which makes it really nice, because you don't want to have to put, your hand inside of there every single, time to turn them on and i put three, fairy lights inside of each kind of,compartment of my haunted house, dollar tree carries bat clips and, spiders that are perfect for this so i,decided to clip and glue some of these, pieces onto the haunted house and after,i did all this i was like you know what, this this needs a little something else,so i decided to dry brush some white, paint so basically what that means is,you take a brush dip it inside of some, paint remove most of the paint from the, brush and then do light strokes over, your project and this is going to kind,of create a very distressed look that's,how i made a haunted house using five, pieces of foam board from dollar tree i,love this thing so much it is so cool, and i feel like you can take advantage,of the inside of the haunted house and, maybe put some ghost or something inside,of there i truly love this diy and if,you recreate it make sure you tag me,because i would love to see it,every year i love to make potion bottles,on my channel i don't like to just put, labels on the front i like to make them, unique so i'm going to share with you, everything i stuck in my bottles for the, first bottle i got these bones from, dollar tree and i place the bones inside,of the bottle all of the bottles i'm,using are from dollar tree the second, bottle i'm going to be using the small, little skull heads that i got at,michael's i paid around four dollars for, them halloween and michaels is already,on sale for 40,off i then cut down some of these, broomsticks that i got from dollar tree,i had to cut them down to fit the inside,of this glass i got foam bones from, dollar tree so i put those in another, glass i decided to dirty up some water, with some acrylic paint and pour that, into the first glass that has the bones,so it would look a little bit different, from the one that has the foam bones in,another glass i'm going to be placing, some of these spiders that i also got, from dollar tree if you don't want to,buy a bunch of individual things for the, glasses i recommend getting food, coloring this way you're able to use, water and food coloring to get some, really spooky potion bottles finally the, last bottle i have to share with you, guys which is my favorite i got one of,those bigger ghosts that you saw me use, earlier and i cut some pieces down that,i filled up with some cotton at the top,and tied i'm making little ghosts out of,these and then i just painted little, faces on them i'm going to be putting, these inside of the bottle i did glue, the bigger ghost to the lid of the, bottle so that way they kind of float up,a little bit better i made some labels,i'll link down below for you guys that i,printed out on some sticker paper and, then i cut out just using my scissors so,here are the labels and what goes with, each bottle the skulls has a label that, says pickled skulls then the brooms have,a witch's broom label the ghosts have a,bottle of booze label the foam bones, have a label that says bone powder it's,not, powdery by any means but hey the, spider's label is spider venom then the, potion bottles that i made with the food, coloring the red one i did arsenic, poisoning then the green one is snake, venom finally our last label is dragon, bones and that's how you make these, really cool unique potion bottles don't,get me wrong i still like the bottles, where they just have a label on the, front and the bottle is like a solid, color however i prefer these these are,so much more interesting to look at and, they can be kind of funny if you can, find a cool play on words like the, bottle of booze one i love love love, making potion bottles on this channel, but like i said i like to do them in a,unique way, last year we used the dollar tree doll, houses to make haunted houses we're,gonna do something similar but different,i'll be using two of the pink doll, houses from dollar tree i'm removing the, windows frames doors, roof everything from it i'm just gonna, have the base of the house i painted one, house all yellow and then the other, house all orange i had to do a few, layers of paint to get an opaque look so,i did one layer of paint wait for it to,dry and then move on to the next layer, you don't want to keep adding layers, when the paint is still wet otherwise, you're not going to achieve the look, that you want dollar tree carries white, houses as well and i'm going to be using, this for the top of what i'm making i,removed again all the window frames the, door frame the roof and i'm just keeping, that all white but i did paint the roof,of this house black then the doors i,took out of the houses i painted yellow, orange and white,i'm going to be stacking the houses on,top of each other to do this i have to,remove the plastic corners that are on,the bottom of the houses that are going,to be stacked on top of each other if,you don't remove those pieces you won't,be able to glue them down flat to each, other so i removed those pieces and then,i glued the houses down and basically,i'm making a candy corn house you can, then put back in your windows and the, frames i only put back in the windows, that were white and i actually used some,of the windows from the, bottom houses, for the top of the roof then glued the, houses to a piece of foam board because,i'm going to be using spackle you put, speckle inside of a piping bag with an,icing tip and then you just treat it as,if it were icing that you're icing on,top of a gingerbread house dollar tree, does carry spackle but my favorite, spackle is dap spackle that you find at,home depot it's just creamy you don't,have to mix it with water you get more, bang for your buck i like it a lot more,so i just did like some different, designs on top of this i embellished, this with some fake candy corns and i'll,link the seller i used down below for,you guys i got it from etsy, then i used some puff paint from dollar, tree to create more detailed designs, that i really cannot do with the spackle,to make it look more like a gingerbread, house little designs that look like, lights and wreaths, and snow,it's just easier to use the puff paint, for these designs than spackle like i,said because spackle it's like,no you would have a very hard time doing, this with spackle so we are making a,gingerbread haunted house type of,situation even though this is candy corn,so it's a little bit sweeter it's so,cute and easy to do you guys and it's,really fun because you can go like any, design it doesn't have to be just candy, corn i absolutely love the way that this, turned out i want to make some little, fake cookies to go along with this, right now at dollar tree you can find, halloween christmas trees i'll be using, nine for this project i remove the, bottom off of all the trees except one,and then push all the branches of the, trees to one side i'm going to share, with you how you can make one bigger, substantial fuller tree using multiple, trees dollar tree christmas trees are, very sparse they look kind of sad on,their own so you want to get at least, two to make a fuller tree i recommend, three but you want at least two what, you'll do is you'll use zip ties to,attach a group of trees together whether, that's two three four more than four it,just starts to look like funny so what, you're gonna do is just use those zip, ties and tie all your trees together so,i'm gonna do three rows of trees and in,each row there's gonna be three attached,to,each other so i have the top of my,christmas tree which is three trees and, then when i attach the middle of the, christmas tree i attach the top of these, trees that i'm adding to the bottom of,the trees that are already there and, that's how i attach all the trees, together all the trees are attached you,can cut the zip ties off and then place, the stands on the one piece that you, still left the plastic on,i'll share with you guys how i decorated, mine dollar tree carries miniature, ornaments that are great for these mini, trees i picked up three packs and i,mainly focused on the front of my tree i,do this with my christmas tree too i,don't put ornaments all the time all, around the tree i just make sure that if,i don't put it on the back i don't make, the front too weighted otherwise it'll,fall over on you i also added some of,these ornaments these i ended up getting,at home goods i got them last year they, were 9.99,so i placed some of those on my tree, right now dollar tree has candy corn, picks so i remove the candy corn off of,the pigs and then i glue them to the, christmas tree i purchased this ghost, pick from michael's for a little over, two dollars this is going to be my tree, topper and then i used one of the webs, from dollar tree as the skirt for my,tree that's how you make a bigger tree, using these small trees from dollar tree, this tree is about three feet tall and,it cost me 11.25,to make which is a steal of course the, price of the ornaments that's different, but the tree base itself was 11.25,right now dollar tree has foam skulls in,and what's nice about these is they are, easier to work with than the plastic, ones they get in so what i'm doing is,i'm taking this little like skewer it's,honestly a kitchen thing i'm making a,hole through my skulls and then feeding,a broomstick through the skulls i'll be,using five total i figure out how i want, these skeletons to look when they're,stacked on top of each other and i make, the holes according to that and i really, recommend using something,to create those holes instead of just, the broomstick because it's really hard,to create a hole with just a broomstick, once i have all the skulls on top of the, broomstick i went outside and i spray, painted them with a cream color i,decided to spray paint them again as i,said earlier it's just it's faster to do,for me but you can always use an acrylic, paint i then went in with acrylic paint,to add the details so the shading the, highlighting that i need the cracks that,i need i kind of just played it by ear i,started with black and i put those, inside of the areas i wanted to be the, darkest so the eyes and the nose i then, went in with like brown tones and tried,to make the skulls look a little bit, more dirty, and then i did like a grayish color, around the teeth just figure out what, works for you,i purchased this planter at dollar tree,i'm gonna be gluing some foam pieces, also from dollar tree to the bottom of,the planter and once i have those foam, pieces in i push my broomstick through, the foam so now it's standing upright i,placed the kitchen towel at the bottom,of this to dummy it up so that i could, put some stones from dollar tree inside,of here but not have to use as many, stones you need something down there, though that's weighted otherwise this is,going to fall over on you because it's,so lightweight to really spook this up i,put some webs from dollar tree on the, bottom of this and that's it that's how,i made this i don't really know what you, want to call this like tower of skulls i,i don't know but it's really spooky, looking, really wanted to do another diy using, the foam skulls from dollar tree so for, this project we're gonna need two of the, paper towel holders from dollar tree you,are going to push two heads through a,paper towel holder and then once you, have those two heads through there you, take another paper towel holder and put,it through the top of the skull now i,purchased two of these wood rounds from, dollar tree i'm going to be gluing my,paper towel holders to these wood rounds, using hot glue i recommend using, something else than hot glue i'm just, using hot glue because it dries quickly, and i'm filming i'm trying to do things, fast if you use hot glue like i did, though do not put anything heavy on top,of this and make sure you put more hot, glue on the bottom paper towel holder, that's touching that bottom wood piece, don't worry about it it gets covered up,or you can use something to cover it up,i then went ahead and i spray painted, this entire thing black i then went in,with some gold acrylic paint to,highlight areas of the skull that's how,you make this really cool skull stand i,wouldn't put anything too heavy on the,top of this especially if you use hot, glue i absolutely love the way that this, one turned out, this is a simple project you can get, these traffic cones in the toy section,of dollar tree and just paint them to,look like candy corn make sure you're,using a paint that is meant for outside, use so in this case you're just going to,use white and yellow paint and you're,going to have to do a few layers of this, because it's plastic if you use an,acrylic paint it doesn't really go on,plastic the nicest the first time around,so you have to do a few layers to get, that opaque look what you see right here,is my second layer of paint and you can,see it starts looking way more opaque, with the second layer of paint you can,use this outside to make some really, cute decor i think it's super unique, because i never really see people, decorate with candy corn outside the, other thing you can do is get styrofoam, from dollar tree the ones that look like, cones and paint that instead which i,prefer this way just because i don't,have to do a bunch of layers of paint i,just do one the way you get these to,stand outside without falling over with, any type of wind is by using bamboo, skewers from dollar tree i break them in,half i stick them in the ground and then, put the cone over the skewer and i go,straight down with the cone so that the, skewer doesn't poke out of the sides and, that's it these are so cute i want to,make more and have them all over for, halloween, for our next project you're going to,need some wood beads dollar tree carries, them they're unfinished you can paint, them black if you want or,you can buy them already colored and i,have this black garland i bought at,walmart last year when it was on,clearance i probably paid like a dollar, for all of this so i'm going to use that, instead, now i'm going to also be using some fake, apples you can get these at hobby lobby, for inexpensive price i think i paid, three dollars for a big bag of them,we're going to be making poison apple, garland so i'm going to be using these, yarn needles and i'm going to tie some, string through one of the yarn needles i,then i'm going to start putting some, beads on top of that and as i put beads,i'm also going to be putting some of the, foam, apples now i want to do this beforehand, because once i have glue on top of this, which is what we're going to be using,i'm going to have a hard time getting, the needle through the glue so i need, this big needle to get through the foam,of the apple and i use pliers to pull it,out so i push the needle through the, apple and then use pliers to pull it out,i used a mixture of red and green apples, now to get the poison apple face and the, look of it i'm going to be using hot, glue now when you're doing this you, don't want to hold the apple for long, just hold it to get the initial face, down and then once you start to pour the, rest of the hot glue stop holding the, apple unless you want to burn your, fingerprints off unless you have those, glue gun finger protectors you can use, those but if you don't have those, don't hold it long because you will burn, your fingers make sure wherever you're,pouring the hot glue on the apple you, don't mind hot glue getting on that, surface so in this case i had these, little coasters that i was using if the,hot glue got on there it's really easy,to take off i like to use hot glue for, this because i like the 3d look it gives,it it makes it look more like it was, dipped into something you can always, just use paint instead and not do it,this way but i really do like the way, that the hot glue makes this look wait, for the hot glue to completely dry, before you start to paint over it i used,a lime green paint and a red paint the,red apples i painted with the lime green, and the green apples i painted with the,red color you are going to have to do a,few layers of paint and wait for each, layer to dry before putting on your next, layer the reason you're gonna have to do,a few layers of paint is to get the, opaque look unless you don't really mind,a bit of the hot glue still showing, underneath your paint now to hang this,on top of my fireplace i'm just tying, the ends of my garland to some command, strips and then i place that on my,fireplace now this garland is heavy, because of the apples so to get the, apples to stay where i want them to stay, put i'm using some glue dots that i got, from dollar tree i just place them on,the back of each apple and then place, the apple exactly how i want it to be i,made this garland a little bit too long, for my fireplace so please try to excuse, that this garland is so darn cute i have, never seen something like this before,i've seen the poison apples that you can,buy but i've never seen a garland of it,it's so cute to do and last year i made, the poison apples but i made them bigger, and it's the exact same thing as before,it's just easier to make the faces on,the bigger apples you use your hot glue, gun to create the face and the little, dip look to it and then once the glue, dries you can paint it i did shade, around the eyes and the nose with some, black paint on these apples to really, give it some dimension,i shared this project last year not, everyone has seen it so i want to,reshare it because it's really good you,can get some blank t-shirts at dollar, tree if you can find 100 cotton t-shirts,i recommend getting those you're also, going to pick up some of their diy wood, blanks then get an empty spray bottle, and bleach you're going to fill the, spray bottle up with bleach if you have,a piece of cardboard lying around put, that in between your t-shirts what we're,going to do is we are going to place our, wood blanks on top of the t-shirts and, spray the bleach on top of that what, happens is the design that's on the wood, blank transfers onto your t-shirts the, bleach just goes around it but still, leaves the design it's really really, cool, after they're done you can go ahead and, wash these inside of the washing machine, and that's it so easy to do and super, cool next up we're going to be making, the hocus pocus book from dollar tree, you want to pick up a blank book as well,as their faux leather that you're going,to find near all of the cricket items so,it's a long roll what you'll do is,you'll cut that piece down to wrap, around the inside of the book as well as,the outside once you have that cut down, just glue it into place with your hot, glue gun now we'll be using some fake, eyeballs from dollar tree you're going,to want to go ahead and cut those in,half all you have to do is find the hole, that's in the ball and then put your, scissor through it and that way you'll,be able to cut it in half once you have,it cut in half take the part that has,the iris and glue that onto your book, now this is the most time consuming part,of this diy but it is so easy to do you, just take your hot glue gun and you use,it to create the designs that are on the, book you want to do layers of this so in,the corners of the book there's these, little snake designs so you want to,start off with a layer there and that's,going to be the very base of the design, and once that dries start adding the, snake design over it so it starts to,give it that 3d effect another example, are the stitches and the wounds i,started off making the wounds and then i,waited for that to dry and then i went, over that with the glue again to create, the stitches and that's how i created, the 3d effect after you have all your, designs down it's time to paint, everything i recommend going over every, design except for the eyelid area with, black paint this gives it a really good, base and it gives the paint that you, apply afterwards something to attach to,after i have every area that i want, painted black i then go in with my,colors the only colors i used on the, book itself not the eye were silver, black, white and brown paint if you're into, highlighting and shading like i am all,you have to do is dip your finger inside,of the paint and rub it over the leather,it's really easy to blend it that way, versus using a paint brush and that's,how i shade it and i highlighted the, book the only other thing that was left, for me to do was to paint the eyeball, the eyeball of the hocus pocus book is,not yellow i went with blue i just used, some blue paint to paint over the iris, and then black paint to paint over the, pupil a little more i love the way that, this book came out if you cannot find, the leather from dollar tree i will link,my other tutorial down below for you, guys that one i use toilet paper and, anybody can find toilet paper i mean i,guess if it was 20 20 you might not have, been able to find toilet paper but now,you can moving right along from dollar, tree you're going to want to pick up,some of their hanging coffin signs and i,recommend at least using three but if,you want to use more, honestly the more the better and you're,also going to be using these chalkboard, signs again from dollar tree now i had,my husband cut down these signs to make, pieces that are going to go around the, coffin, again you do not need to use a saw or,anything like that you can use scissors, now go ahead and glue your coffins on,top of each other and the reason you, need a few of these is so that the, chalkboard has something to attach to so,once i have all of my coffins glued on,top of each other i can now attach the, chalkboard to the sides of the coffin,i used hot glue to do this but i really, recommend using a more heavy duty glue i,just use the hot glue because it dries, quickly and it i don't have to like wait, forever to finish, filming a video this part is completely, optional you can keep the imagery as is,but i decided to paint over that imagery, using some black paints, and i also painted over the edges of the, chalkboard now it's time to decorate the, inside of the coffin i got these skulls, from dollar tree and i'm going to be,gluing one on top of the other and i,just use hot glue to do this now as you,do this you're going to notice that, these skulls are kind of tipping over, because they're very lightweight they, don't have a base under them when you, stick them inside of the coffin the, walls of the coffin are gonna keep them, upright then i added some fairy lights, now i have to credit somebody for this, diy my husband if you guys like this diy,say thanks to matt in the comments, because he's the one who came up with, this he actually made a different coffin, using the wall shelves from dollar tree,we didn't have enough for me to do that,on camera so that's why i ended up using, the chalkboard signs i'm gonna show you, guys how i decorated his coffin i got, this little skeleton from dollar tree i,went ahead and glued him inside i added, some web and spiders from dollar tree, and then that's just how i decorated, matt's coffin so again thanks to matt, these are super cool they're about two, feet tall and they wouldn't even work, outside if you wanted them to that's it,for these halloween diys i hope you, enjoyed the video let me know your, favorite down in the comments and i will, see you next time take care bye

hello my name is gianna klein aka the, archie from tangie.com and welcome to,home talk go to your local dollar store, and pick up a solar light, pool noodle, broom handle and two wooden signs,we are going to start this craft off by,removing any stickers from your pool, noodle, after the sticker is removed bend the, pool noodle to straighten it slightly, for the broom pull you can take off the,top or leave it on the top will just, secure it better but it does leave less, space inside, take the pole and put it into the pool, noodle, leave the screw end pushed out slightly, these wooden signs can be used on either, side,so keep in mind what direction you want, these to point, take off any stickers from the signs, since i don't need this string i'm going,to cut it off you can also get these, blade tools over at your local dollar, store, measure the arrows, get the length for where you would like,to put down text, and also make sure to get the width as,well for both of them, after you have measurements for both, arrows, turn on your vinyl cutter, you could also paint text them to these, arrows if you do not have a vinyl, cutting machine or don't want to go and,put vinyl letters on,after the vinyl is cut weed it prep it,and then get it ready for transfer, remove the transfer tape and make sure, the wooden surface is clean before you,put down any vinyl, press the vinyl down and peel the, transfer tape on both arrows,no matter if you choose to paint or use, vinyl make sure to seal the wood on both, sides to prevent weathering, use black spray paint on the pool noodle, you may have to go over a few times and, definitely make sure to do this outside,in a well ventilated area, wait for the pool noodle to fully dry,and apply glue to the light bottom, put the light into the top of the pool, noodle and make sure it sits well in,place, you want to hold it for a couple seconds,as well, for a ground light if you're going to,use one glue a wooden arrow onto the, bottom of the light hold it,and then tape it in place so it dries, and sticks well, after the glue on your pool noodle is,dry, take your wooden arrow and loop it,backwards, twist it around clockwise so the text is,facing forward, dig a hole outside and push the, broomstick screw end into the ground, you can also actually screw this in,place as well too to keep it in place, better, place any other lights that you have, around the pole, step back and look at your work, this light will help to point out this, pesky step during both daytime and also, night time, thank you so much for watching i will, see you next time bye,you
