Teacher Outfits! HALLOWEEN EDITION!

I had to it's Halloween the most precise,actions in order to pull this off,hey guys what's up welcome back so we,are a week away from Halloween and I,know we're all debating what we should,be so I have a couple quick n easy,teacher costumes coming at you because,at each elementary school these are,gonna be dominantly elementary but if,she's junior high I'm sure there might,be a couple that can work for you anyhow,let's get started first costume is the,Lorax and it's a double whammy because,if you do it for Halloween you can do it,for dr. Seuss be super simple just went,to Michael's and got a plain simple,orange t-shirt and I got it in like an,extra-large the way it fits kinda like a,dress wear with some leggings and there,are three for $9 so got a couple,different colors so I first draw it out,on paper so this is like my sloppy copy,and then I put it over felt and then,just trace it and cut out so that way,adds a little bit of texture to it looks,kind of fuzzy,you can also get a yellow boa so that,way it's like super crazy but dr. Seuss,day I might actually go over with Boas,just to make it a little different so,and then for Michael's I got these a big,ol eyeball so,yeah yeah well BAM,or BAM alright so big googly eyes aren't,sticky and I don't have been to glue,them with so we would just have to use,our imaginations I think I may use this,for Halloween I'll put the I'll move the,mouse up a little bit and have a little,bit closer together looks mom angry but,overall I really like it super comfy,easy these were like 2 bucks this felt,was literally a dollar shirt was 3 bucks,so what can beat that and you get to,where I say year so next,so this is boo for monsters inc pretty,much just switched the orange strip for,a pink one I have the same leggings even,though they should be purple if we get,specific pic tails and then I have this,little accessory that I just naturally,have don't judge me but it goes perfect,for boo because today if you want to get,really detailed I think she has the,little pink rubber bands with the two,little ball thingamajigs yeah,so this can be as simple or as detailed,as you would like it to be and that roll,pretty much applies for all these,costumes so next one this is if you give,a mouse a cookie dad I just got these,from Michaels this actually came with,little hand things and granted they're,for kids and it was like six bucks but,it's a very stretchy and it works so I,really like these they're really soft,and kind of fun so just got some basic,overall plain white t-shirts and my,cookie is out of paper soap this is,another fun quick easy one for you these,overalls you can wear again same with,the white t-shirt piece of paper so,really how much more simple can you get,besides a pink t-shirt for boo phone,night yesterday so new setting this if,you can't guess by the red ribbon y,sweater is matilda if you want to get,these tails you get a pattern dress wear,a t-shirt under and or the sweater you,get some like white heads look like the,frilly white socks that little girls,used to wear which I could not find,anywhere grant I only looked in like two,places but still besides the point,so thank you,I'm just been talking with my hands I do,really like this because this is just,one of my work presses and I just throw,a sweater which is my work sweater,it's all I had get was the ribbon also,to teach elementary read this story,before because a lot of them haven't,even seen the movie so until that all,right I'm gonna let you know right now,that I did not think this one through so,this is supposed to be keep the cat but,once I put this on I realized that I,look more like one of those like a,princess because of this and the yellow,with just the red at the time anywho but,you get the idea and it it works like my,kids wouldn't complain ears are a lot,harder to make then you think so I,pretty much just have my Matilda ribbon,with Luffy has wire so folded that up,pretty much if you're gonna do Pete the,cat make make sure you make yellow ears,but pretty much if you're gonna be Pete,the cat you need yellow ears and I had,to make shift them out of the red ribbon,that was already on my head and luckily,it has wire so it's holding them up and,this is the same felt from the Lorax,so it works it's not the best but it,works these buttons are literally paper,that I just pinned on to my yellow,sweater and then of course keep the,Cotton's blue so you have a blue little,skirt yellow sweater instead of a yellow,ring go yellow ears and then if I want,to get down bend I want to get super,into it I might do some like yellow make,up cuz Pete the cat has yellow eyes,maybe some blue lipstick just to bring,some more blue into it I don't know I,also thought I had a blue shirt I don't,so normally so you can have this open,with the blue shirt add more blue in to,make his Pete the cat is blue that's all,I'm pressing but above all else,definitely find an easier way to make,cat ears,that's all I have to say I'm gonna leave,at that he's got out,so this is wednesday addams just need,simple pigtails and a simple black dress,with the white color I don't know if,elementary students will get it but I,think junior high and high school,definitely would it's a classic nowadays,I got this at Kohl's,and I like it because it's super soft,nice length can wear it's work you wear,it out however I want it is very,versatile,speaking of versatile I'm actually going,to use this dress for my next costume,let's go so this is viola swamp from,Miss Nelson is missing we have the same,black dress from Wednesday Addams just a,little partial black lipstick she has,super rosy cheeks so a there's a lot of,blush or even just red lipstick rub that,on hair and just messy buns to the side,this book is really big with my first,grades and I just read right to my third,graders and they thought it was just as,great so this is definitely maybe for,Halloween and if you're like me you love,any excuse to put on a onesie everyone,knows Halloween is the first day that it,is absolutely freezing and since all,teachers know Halloween is just a crazy,day in general you might as well be,comfortable for the day well everything,around you is turned to chaos also I,highly recommend investing in a onesie,because you will wear it a lot more than,you think,you got Halloween you got pajama day,you'll wear it at home because it's,super warm trust me you won't regret it,all right I have one more bonus costume,for you but it requires the most detail,the most precise actions in order to,pull this off but I think you can handle,it so I'm You know you do.,- So do that for an English major.,- Well how about a math teacher?,What would a math teacher dress up as?,- Well, I had a hard time with this, and then I was thinking,"Why not dress up as a famous mathematician?",Give a list to your students, before Halloween,,of the mathematicians they need to investigate,,then tell them you're going to dress up as one of them.,Like, try Pythagoras, or something.,And they have to interview you,and try to figure out who you are.,- That's half the fun.,- Yes! And then the one who wins gets a prize.,- Candy!,- (laughing) Yeah, yeah. An apple.,- Candy, candy corn, yes, it's the one month,you can legally eat candy corn, and don't get me started,on how the Christmas-colored candy corn is okay,,because it's not legal, it's not.,- I figured you'd be a candy corn eater.,How about those little cheesy pumpkin things, too?,- Oh, no, no, no, no.,- It's the candy corn.,- Yeah, the autumn blend, that is not acceptable.,Okay, so, you're a history teacher,,you could dress up, gosh, as anybody.,How about Abraham Lincoln,,delivering the Gettysburg Address?,And this kind of question-and-answer thing would be good,,but you could think of any historic character,,or any character currently, character, I say,,but real person, in the news right now.,- Oh, that'd be a great idea.,- What about science teachers?,- I had a hard time with this too,,and I was always thinking of Bill Nye the Science Guy,,I remember watching him.,- Yup. All you need's a white lab coat, people!,- I know, and some big glasses.,And then you came up with the idea,of, you know, buy an Albert Einstein wig.,- They're out there.,- And then you could be Albert Einstein.,- Really, you just any kinda gray-ish wig,and then you just kind of rat it a little bit.,- You could conduct a science experiment with that.,- Yup. How about Marie Curie?,All you need is a plain black dress,,and then you can...,- And walk around with a test tube,,and tell them you're gonna spill it on them or something.,- Is that what she did, she threatened,to spill stuff on people?,- (laughing) I don't know.,- (laughing) She was not a virologist, come on.,(laughing),- So that's pretty cool, but what about famous teachers,from books, movies, and TV?,- So, there are tons of them,,and we're gonna rapid fire 26,of our favorite teachers, here,,and we're gonna show you what they look like and point out,maybe some of the elements of their costume.,- I'm adjusting my hat, it's starting to bother me.,- Get a little itchy? It wasn't a high quality hat.,- Yeah, from Walgreen's. All right, so you start.,- How about Miss Honey from Matilda?,Oh, she was adorable, easy costume to put together.,- Okay, Miss Crabtree, Little Rascals.,I don't know this person.,- Well, this is kind of a reach, but remember,,your costume doesn't have to be recognizable by everybody.,Sometimes the coolest ones are,the small group of people would get it.,- I remember The Little Rascals, but, you know.,- How about Dumbledore from Harry Potter?,So, a lot of what she's wearing would work just fine,,just give yourself a gray beard.,- Mm-hmm, and, like, a tam, or something.,- Yeah, a tam would work.,- Oh, that would be perfect.,- But not necessary.,- Mr. Collins, from The Wonder Years.,- We love The Wonder Years, what a great show that was.,How about Miss Bliss from Saved by the Bell?,- Or Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid?,- Now, he wasn't a teacher in school,,but he definitely was a teacher.,Pat Morita played, of course, Mr. Miyagi.,How about Melvin B. Tolson from The Great Debaters?,- And how about Mr. Feeny, Boy Meets World?,- That's right. What about Ms. Canfield, Leave it to Beaver?,- That's a stretch too, for your students,,but they might really like to watch Leave it to Beaver.,Professor Jennings from Animal House.,- Now, that may only appeal to a handful of people,,but wow, would that be cool.,- That would be hysterical.,- Yup. Mr. Kotter, from Welcome Back Kotter.,- Yeah. That's a great one, I like that one.,- You just need the curly, you know, Gabe wig.,- Mr. Holland from Mr. Holland's Opus.,- That's right, you need your Richard Dreyfuss glasses,,and, like, sweater vest, and you could pull that off.,- Easy to dress for that.,- How about Mr. Cooper from Hanging' with Mr. Cooper?,Now that might not be as well-known to some of you,,but I think that one would be dang cool as well.,- I love this, the economics teacher,from my absolutely favorite-est movie when I'm home sick.,It's called Ferris Bueller's Day off. I love that movie.,If you haven't seen that movie, you have to watch it.,- Anyone? Anyone?,- Anyone?,- The Hollist-Smoot Act?,Yeah, played by Ben Stein,,who was a speech writer for President Nixon.,- I did not know that.,- He's a very intelligent guy.,How about Dewey Finn from School of Rock?,You can pull this one off.,- Oh, that would be so fun.,- The Jack Black character.,- Charles Xavier from X-Men.,- That's right, you'd need a wheelchair,,you'd need a bald wig, but everything else,I think would be easy to put together, so, so fun.,You could even make the cardboard X's and, like,,attach them to the wheels of the wheelchair.,I think that would be really, really cool.,You could even actually put just wheels and X's,on just a chair in your classroom,,you wouldn't need a real wheelchair.,Then you could just sit in it.,What about Jamie Escalante from Stand and Deliver?,- That would be so inspiring to see that.,- Oh, yeah, that'd be really cool.,- Miss Frizzle, from The Magic Schoolbus.,If you have red, frizzy hair, that's a plus.,- Or a red frizzy wig, you can get them right now.,I've seen people even take the Ariel wig,,which is a little bit longer, and just put it in curlers.,- I could just spray mine with red paint, and it would work.,- Merlin, from Sword in the Stone.,Again, similar type of thing.,- Catherine Watson from Mona Lisa Smile.,- Love that movie. We're showing a picture of her right now,,but you could totally pull that off.,How about Miss Binney,,from Ramona, excuse me...yeah, Ramona the Pest?,- And Mr. Garrison from South Park.,- Okay, okay.,- Mm-kay, mm-kay.,- How about Professor Bhaer, from Little Women?,- Professor Keeting, which, of course, I am very similar to,,from The Dead Poets Society, remember?,- Suspect test results, of course,,but that'd be another, just, great teacher, of course.,- Professor McGonagall, and while we're on the subject,,Professor Snape, who I was tested to be like, evidently.,- That's right.,- Not pleased with that at all.,- I guess you're just not empathetic enough, like Minerva.,- No, we're not, okay, so we polled our Reddit folks,,out there at the subreddit "Teachers,",and we have a few people that had some great ideas.,The question was, "What are some of your favorites?",So, teachers out there, this is what you had to say.,Mrs. Butterworth said, she's an art teacher,,and hers is Frida Kay-lo, did I say that right, Kay-lo?,- I'm not sure, I think it's Kahlo.,- Kahlo. Um, basically, just wear a dress and a shawl,,put flowers in her hair, and paint the unibrow.,She loves to do that.,- She said the kids really get a kick out of it,,I bet they do.,- It's historical, it's topical, it's awesome.,- Well, we heard from an elementary TA,,and he said he's going as Fly Guy.,- Fly Guy?,- It's a favorite library pick in their class.,- And the kids will love it.,Another librarian is going as Belle,,of course, because Belle loved books, right?,- And the TAs are going as Minions.,- I love it.,- Isn't that funny?,This year, another teacher wrote that her middle school team,is dressing up like the emotions from the movie Inside Out.,- Awesome, which you can do with a...,- That'd be so much fun.,- Complete color outfit, and colored face paint,,you've got it, that's awesome.,- They could act out certain roles, it would be so much fun.,- Yes, it would. A redhead, um...,Oh, "Ado About Nothing" is the user's screen name.,Redhead ninth grade English teacher,switched between her contacts and her glasses,,they're very similar, because teachers at her school,aren't allowed to wear costumes,,but she goes as "Hipster Ariel,",because of her red hair.,- And that is kind of unusual,,that teachers cannot wear costumes at her school,,most schools will let you.,- And we're showing a picture of the Hipster Ariel meme,,but her kids get it, and it...,and I'll tell you something about all these costumes,in a minute, that hopefully will drive it home.,- And then another teacher has curly red hair,and teaches science, so of course she goes...,every year she says she's going to be Miss Frizzle,,but she's never been able to find a science-ey dress,for the costume, so she needs to do it this year.,- She needs to do it, we're counting on you!,We want to see some pictures.,Elementary PE teacher...,- This is a funny one, you're gonna love this one.,- Dressed up as a "Regular" classroom teacher, right?,Slacks, collared shirt.,Most of the students were really confused by it.,And he said the best was, during dismissal,,when some of the first graders ran up,,to yell out "I never want to see you with pants on again.",(laughing),- Or, "Hey, you've got clothes on today, what's up?",(laughing),Parents were going, "Oh my God!,Let's get these kids outta here!",Okay, and then there's another one,,that a couple of years ago, a teacher,,he was teaching U.S. History to eighth graders.,- Yup.,- I'm Just a Bill.,Some kids thought he was a doobie.,- Well, because he's a rolled-up piece of paper, yeah.,That's maybe a little bit too much, uh...,- Too much info.,- Too much culture for those kids.,But I love it, I'm Just a Bill.,We were talking School House Rock, and things like that.,(school bell ringing) - Dang it, there's the bell.,So here's the last idea we have for you.,Remember that, when you dress up,,when you show some character and some personality,,it connects you with your kids.,You're so much more effective as a teacher,when you have the ability to show a little of who you are.,And this, at your school,,may be just one of those opportunities.,- It makes you more human.,- It does.,- Or less human.,- Yup. hi everyone it's Rayleigh and welcome,back to our Channel today I am going to,be showing you over 20 different,Halloween costumes which I made last,minute from things that I already owned,over the past week I have been looking,researching Halloween costumes hopefully,there is something in this video for,anyone panicking about Halloween,costumes or not wanting to spend money,on them that you see and maybe like I,think that's all I've got to say,let's get started,Number One Max Mayfield Max Mayfield is,really really easy especially because,she exists for four three seasons which,means you have a variety of outfits to,choose from this is one from season four,she wears a brown jacket on top of a,dark green top I believe it has stripes,in the actual one and some jeans some,baggy jeans to be specific she also has,her hair in two plaits and she has,headphones on now the only headphones,I've got here are my white beats but her,headphones are black and they're wired,up to a cassette tape player which you,can find in some charity shops if you,want to go all out of this costume I,would say turn the volume up on full I'd,play running up that hill by Kate Bush,on repeat everywhere you go for the,whole night people wanna know who you,are because I mean anyone who's seen,stranger things knows that that's a,soundtrack for season four so yeah this,is Max Mayfield costume number two,Hogwarts,this costume relies on color and school,uniform attire you can be a Hogwarts,student if you know what you wear to a,normal school if you have something of,one of the house colors so that's dark,green dark blue dark red and yellow,depending on what house you want to be,in a tie might be good I would say shoe,wise you want to go for a school shoe,for anyone who has never had to wear,school shoes think Doc Martens and to,level it up you can have props so this,is an old,um German dictionary and this is a wand,this is the Elder Wand these do,definitely help the house I'm imitating,is,Slytherin slash Ravenclaw but I think,this costume works really well and I,really like it okay hugots,next,Danny from The Shining he's the little,boy his outfit is again really easy if,you have a red top and dungarees so he,actually has a red long sleeve top we,don't have one he also has Converse,except they are red this costume is,great for anyone who has a bob and a,fringe because that's what he has I,don't this is my attempt to replicate,the ball it looks away from the front,but yeah this is the costume of Danny,from that film,I'd say I did a pretty good job okay,that is Danny from The Shining done on,to the next one,possible,this is one of my favorite ones just,because I think I got it spot on the,only thing that maybe could be tweaked,is the top her top is high neck I don't,owe it a black high neck top this one,actually isn't cropped it's just tucked,the Kim Possible's outfit cargos a lot,of girls nowadays own Cargoes a lot of,boys own cargos you can definitely find,them in charity shops because that's,where these are from Kim Possible also,has a brown belt this is a black one,it's on a loose setting and it's,diagonal across her body to do that you,can just tie it put it through one hoop,put it on the loose setting and she has,gloves I believe her gloves are dark,Navy to Black they do look thick in her,thing as well I've got Willy ones her,hair is a side part it's also straight,so you want to add that but yeah Kim,Possible,I take his gloves off,Katniss Everdeen little disclaimer there,are many versions of Katniss everdeen's,costume and this is not the most iconic,one but this is one version I think it's,from when she first goes into the Hunger,Games she has a black coat it's I think,it's like a raincoat type thing she,obviously has a pin I think it's on her,arm though I made a really really bad,version just for reference obviously,it'd be better to have the pin she also,has darker cargos in this but she has,cargos and then obviously iconically she,has her side braid,which is what I've recreated so yes can,is everything would obviously be a movie,with backpack on with bow and arrow if,you just have one laying around this is,a version of Katniss Everdeen and I,think it's I think it looks like her,okay that is,Katniss Everdeen I actually really like,this one this is one of my favorites,next one,School PE teacher so this one came to me,as I was doing Katniss Everdeen and Kim,Possible this outfit is pretty simple,you're gonna need a lanyard and you're,gonna need keys on the lanyard and also,if you're really really good at this you,want a whistle on a lanyard as well,sugar bottoms you want your coat to be,like this length as well hair back in a,ponytail don't want your earrings in and,trainers I really like this one I think,it was quite a fun idea and you could,definitely switch it up a bit it's warm,as well so for the UK so yeah there's my,pea teacher outfit on to the next one,foreign,costume is meant to be Wendy Darling,from Peter Pan from the animated version,so she has a blue bow in her hair we,don't have any ribbon so I made one and,she has a blue dress and she does have,like the puff sleeves on the blue dress,which I have here because I know a lot,of people don't like going really really,direct to the characters they're doing,they just want to dress up nice I think,this one is a good example of how you,can do that so yeah if you want to do,Wendy from Peter Pan you need a blue,dress and a blue bow okay next costume,get it so this one is hairspray very,very similar to The Wendy costume in,that I've used the same dress for,hairspray essentially you want to be,dressing 60s there is a very very,particular hairstyle that they do a lot,in Hairspray it would be good to do that,but they do wear a lot of bands in their,hair the sleeves were big and skater,skirts were massive so this is a,petticoat for me I didn't put a skirt,over top just because I wanted to keep,this really really simple and,demonstrate that you can do it so we're,leaving this like this I thought it'd be,funny to carry around hairspray I mean,in the ads they have it I would say this,one also doubles as maybe a general 60s,very very,floaty very very fun these are only two,layers you know I've got one and two the,next one is a bit of a stark contrast to,this one but I'm really excited about it,hey yo this costume is Eminem Eminem,costumes are really really easy to do,especially in his like early parts of,his career just baggy clothes a lot the,more iconic outfit that he's done,features white T-shirt gray jumper I'd,say I have a microphone here this one is,from an Xbox,360. there you go his Eminem,so that's the Eminem costume really easy,to do really really fun really good if,you don't actually want to do a costume,and feel like doing something kind of,funny next one,Blossom this is a very very very popular,Halloween costume this is Blossom,Blossom has red hair Blossom's whole,outfit is really really easy to do also,she does have white tights she's a black,waist band a bow in her hair and shoes,that are very very similar if not I like,to marry James okay that's Blossom on to,the next one,suddenly the world I used to know I see,it differently Beth Harmon this,Halloween costume is so so easy if you,wanted to go all out you want to get,some eyeliner in just from the top,height and you want no mascara on the,bottom eyelashes either obviously Beth,Harmon has her Bob cooler than mine,because mine took about two minutes to,do there are a lot of outfits the best,Harmon wears but I think a long coat one,that you can find in charity shops is,definitely something that fits the time,and the attire so this coat is very very,very long but I really really really,like this as an outfit for Fifth Harmony,I think it's cool and maybe trying,someone to chess I just want to,illustrate the length and style of the,coat to all of you fully it's an outfit,in itself okay that's Beth Harmon and on,to the next,a princess this interpretation of,Princess looks kind of medieval kind of,villainy I am well aware that not many,of you are going to own any of the any,of this a princess gown but I did want,to put it in the video just to,illustrate that charity shops are really,really good I found a literal,princess gown in a charity shop it was,about 30 pounds I think I also put the,corset in just to show you because a lot,of stuff and charity shops might not be,your size might be too big and I saw the,problem with a corset so yeah this is a,princess gown so you can be a princess,Halloween the bottom I mean there are so,many layers and when this hits the light,beautiful yeah and this one came with a,scarf this outfit I think is very very,Merlin the show people do different,things for Halloween and this could be a,really really cool idea having your hair,styled nicely does the trick like up,sparkly headband is also good just hair,down if you don't want to do any of that,yeah,very fun outfit on that note on to the,next one,Sherlock Holmes I do want to disclaim,these colors aren't Sherlock Holmes but,this is one we owned this is the same,coat as Beth Harmon except the collar is,pulled up that is a very very key thing,and one of these caps those two things I,would say I won't make this Sherlock,Holmes if you've got short hair keep it,as it is if you've got long hair I would,say put it back and you maybe want,magnifying glass,next,costume is Belle props books or a red,rose actual costume you just want a,yellow dress and you also want your half,up half down in a bun with a yellow,scrunchie little bubble and yeah that's,Belle obviously Belle is a ballroom gown,I assume not many people own Ballroom,gowns okay on to the next one,Rachel from Friends this outfit is,inspired by one of Rachel's outfits from,friends she wears a white long-sleeve,top and plaid skirt I think let's get,sort of red in it she also has knee-high,socks she also has her hair up in I,think a ponytail but my hair's really,really long so her ponytail is like the,same length as my messy bun and then she,just has black shoes on so yeah this is,Rachel from Friends,next outfit,Blair wool door disclaimer blur does not,have,like a frizz curly hair I just thought,it'd be funny to put a brown wig on,because she's got brown hair and I don't,a really really easy way to get her,costumes is to do sort of fancy preppy,School attire Blazers are good polo,shirts are good and she always wears,headbands jewelry quite bright colored,ones though this one's maybe a bit muted,she also has curtain fangs and brown,hair I think this one's actually really,cool okay on to the next one,foreign,Hollywood star outfits in my opinion,tend to be kind of like high fashion I'm,going for the does this look really good,does this look really bad no one knows,if you're going for this kind of like,high fashion model of Duty slash on duty,look big coats clothes with a good,silhouette work for this coats that are,trendy clothes that are trendy big,sunglasses I think sunglasses are,probably a key part of this outfit,especially at the big influential ones,under the coat I've just got a white top,and a very very low rise denim skirt and,now I've also got Mary Jane's on I,really like the Hollywood star section,it's really fun to do to just dress up,like this oh yeah also um cool hair this,is the wig I've put The Fringe forward,pulled some pieces out and put some of,it back I think it looks really cool and,yeah,Hollywood star on to the next one,fairy this outfit would obviously look,better with wings but I'm making this,video from the perspective of someone,who hasn't prepared but yes I would say,Earth Tones are good for fairies like a,pretty white dress I mean you can also,do like chinks and things crystal,jewelry as well I would say is good,fairies these are all Bangles and,there's this jewelry and another note,another thing I want to point out is you,will look more fairy-like if your ears,are showing if your face is being pulled,like that because it gives that like,elfish kind of appearance I'd say more,Wild and Free hair is also more fairy,looking maybe Sparkles and makeup is,also quite a fairy thing fairy is quite,an easy one to do I also kept that wig,on just because I thought it actually,looks kind of fits this quite well but,yeah very,pirate pirate costumes are very very,popular this year I think they're,popular last year as well actually you,really do want taller black boots I,don't have any of those a Shaggy looking,um white dress is good and by Shaggy I,mean this type of thing that pattern,like that sort of thing looks really,good for the pirate costume puffy look,really good and then a brown corset,Jewelry Wise I would say definitely put,jewelry on go for more gold and silver I,would say crystals are probably good,because you know your typical pirate for,example here are loads and loads of,rings there's gold,and that's silver and you can take your,pirate costume to the next level and,a bell and a sword and now you can say,you're Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of,the Caribbean uh maybe you want to take,some jewelry off as well if you're,particularly trying to be a little bit,of swan because I don't think she has,jewelry on in the film I actually really,like this one hair you could do whatever,I think Elizabeth Swann actually has it,has down most of the things she,definitely has a hat on and this fake,sword isn't something that everyone will,learn I know but I purchased it a few,years ago for some reason and now I own,the fake sword okay so I'm gonna out to,this video dressed as a pirate that is,the end of this video I really really,hope you've enjoyed that's my last,costume I hope it gave you some,inspiration DIY Dollar Tree Halloween Costumes

our friends I went to Instagram and,asked you guys if you wanted to see,another Halloween video and you gave me,an overwhelming yes so today I'm,bringing that to you two weeks ago I,shared with you some of my favorite,Halloween DIY hacks using things from,the Dollar Tree so we're gonna play off,of that idea today and I'm gonna share,with you some Dollar Tree costume ideas,so if you want to see what costumes I,came up with with some very simple DIY,using products from the Dollar Tree then,let's get started alright for our first,costume DIY you are going to need from,the Dollar Tree you think up balloons,and one of the gift basket bags,can you guess what we're gonna make with,us we're gonna use this to turn you into,a bag of jellybeans so to start you're,going to take the gift basket bag and,these come in groups of two if you've,never used these before they're just,like big huge clear bags so you could,get baskets inside of and you are going,to cut them both in half so that you can,make them big enough for you to go,inside of but I just cut mine in half,and then I taste them together down the,center to make one really big bag then,it's a bottom I taped off the,centerpiece and I left two little like,holes so that I can put this on like a,little pair of pants then you're going,to blow up the balloons and in order to,make them look like the jelly bean,shapes you can just sort of squeeze them,so that you're pushing the air towards,the front of them like where you tie it,off and this is gonna make them more of,a long jelly bean shape as opposed to a,circular balloon shape then go ahead and,just put this clear bag pant same sort,of on and fill yourself up with the,jelly bean balloons,okay so to get it to stay up I just,taped off each corner to pull it like a,tight around myself as I could and then,I'm just using a string it's gonna go,around my neck like this and I'll tie it,off on that and that hold it all up then,I just printed out the Jellybelly,logo I'm gonna cut this out using a,little duct tape I'm gonna tape it right,on to the front then you are complete,you have made yourself into a bag of,jelly beans and this one only cost two,bucks all right for this next costume,from the Dollar Tree you're going to,need to get a pair of rubber gloves some,of the feather boas and a red winter hat,what do you think we're gonna make with,this one we're gonna turn you into,chicken or rooster I don't know either,one okay to get started you are just,going to need a white shirt any shirt,will do that you have in your wardrobe,bonus points if you have some yellow,bottoms if you don't usually just wear,some jeans sorts and black leggings and,be fine I actually got these ones at,Walmart for nine dollars so all right,they're still available I got in this,week's okay,using these feather boas I'm just gonna,sort of tie them around my waist all the,Boas have they ended pieces of string so,you can use the strange like really not,it also doesn't go anywhere I'll do,maybe two or three along the bottom and,then I'm going to take two and tie them,just like wrap them around my shoulders,kind of time around my arms so that they,look like little wings all right then I,found just a red winter hat on my dollar,tree doesn't work good at the top,chickens always have this like little,they're called one of those red things,on top of their head calls and then we,need chicken feet that's where the,rubber gloves come in so I'm just going,to put these on,to my feet if you're gonna be going like,out then you can get the extra large,ones and put them on Instagram I share,a little bit more about my everyday life,for this costume all you need to do is,from the Dollar Tree get a pair of,reading glasses and a bag of Smarties,okay starting with the reading glasses,you're just gonna pop the glass out,sometimes you can pop them right out,with your finger sometimes you can use,these little butter knife to make it a,little easier and they go then just,using a little duct tape I'm going to,tape the Smarties on to my pants now if,you have a pair of pants you're willing,to ruin you can definitely glue them on,but I don't want to ruin any of my pants,so I'm gonna use just heavy-duty duct,tape all right and then that's it you,get it I'm you know I got Smarties,I got Smarties on my on my pants,Smarties on my pants smarty pants I'm,smarty pants good for all those people,who love play on words you know you may,need the following things from the,Dollar Tree this one's a little more,involved you're going to need a,tablecloth some of the party supply is,like the crepe paper the streamers and,then in the kids section you can always,find dress-up stuff you can get one of,the little princess like crown pieces,it's like a crown and a wand and then,some fairy wings and what you are going,to make yourself into is the tooth fairy,so the first thing that we need to do is,make you a tutu now the Dollar Tree,sometimes does have two 2's but they're,for children and unless you're 50 pounds,it's not going to work so you can make,your own - - using the tablecloth and,these streamers taking the tablecloth,don't even open all the way up just go,ahead and cut some strips of it and then,open these strips up you're going to,keep one in its entire full length and,you'll use this to go around your waist,then take the rest of them and cut them,in half lay your long place out and then,taking these shorter pieces you're going,to fold them in half and just,loop them around the long waist piece,then every leg fourth one I'm going to,do the same thing but with a piece of,the streamer the crepe paper this is,just going to add a little bit more sort,of texture it's gonna make it look a,little mark - - like the crepe paper is,a little more fragile so you have to be,a little bit careful with it I find it's,easier if when you fold in half you sort,of crinkle the center piece together,first and then it'll loop a lot easier,when you're done it's going to look,something like this you're gonna have,two long streamers at either end and,just use them to tie this around,yourself like an apron then we will just,put on the fairy wings then just using,some white paper I just cut out two,toots so I took one tooth and I paste it,onto my wand and I put one on my crown,tear myself a little tooth fairy crown,then should complete the tooth fairy,look I just put on a ton of blush and a,ton of highlighter some bright pink,lipstick and that did it for a final,costume what you need to get at the,Dollar Tree is a black permanent marker,some green poster board and a colored,t-shirt what are we going to use this to,make we're going to use it to turn you,into fruit now obviously the color,options of t-shirts at your local Dollar,Tree is going to sort of dictate what,fruit you can be I was only able to find,red t-shirts at my Dollar Tree so I,could use that to make a strawberry but,I really want to make a pineapple one,too so I did a little looking around and,I found that if you go to your local,craft store or local Walmart you can,usually get color t-shirts for three or,four dollars a little more than the,Dollar Tree option but if you want more,variety you want to do a certain fruit,you may have to do that starting with,the t-shirt you're gonna add shapes onto,them to make it look look more like the,fruit book so for my strawberries I put,on little seeds for my pineapples I did,triangle shapes to make it look like a,pineapple,the reason permanent marker will work in,this case is because usually a Halloween,costume is a one-time wear and you're,not going to need to wash it I happen to,have some black fabric paint laying,around so I use that instead which will,hold up to washes you want to use this,again,it's gonna be a one-time costume,permanent marker will work totally fine,then using the green poster board I am,going to make the hats which will be,sort of like the stems and leaves of my,fruit so I start with a strip that's,gonna go all the way around my head and,then using another strip I'm gonna go,from side to side so it will sit sort of,on the top of my head sort of like a hat,for the pineapple I just looked up,pictures of pineapples on my iPhone I,made a little circle and then it took,medium and small leaves and just kept,taping in place until it looks like the,little top of a pineapple for my,strawberry I just made a little step,piece and then did one big leaf and then,that's it go ahead and throw on the,shirt throw on the Hat this would be a,perfect group costume idea if you want,to do something with a couple of your,friends there are couples costume and it,is super easy to create,that doesn't for my dollar tree costume,ideas but this is your first time coming,to my channel I would hey guys I'm Nikki and I'm Gabby and,today we have a super awesome video that,worked so hard we were so so hard for,you guys on this one you tell them what,do you it is boring Halloween costume,ideas we need a video so that way you,guys can put together these outfits on,your own with what you have in your,closet we don't want to drag the center,on so let's just get right into the,video,for the minion all you'll really need is,some denim or overalls a yellow shirt or,yellow accessories in a minion hat super,easy for Minnie Mouse you are going to,need some Minnie Mouse ears of course,and you can wear pretty much any black,outfit and red skirt for the emoji all,you'll need is a shirt with the emojis,on it which is super easy to find and,some yellow leggings for the,Bachelorette all you're going to need is,a few roses and a pretty formal dress,for the unicorn all you'll need is a,onesie which you can easily get on,Amazon or at a Halloween store it's also,super comfortable to wear for Chanel,number two you're going to need a,triangle crop top a choker any fur and,some knee-high socks and some platform,shoes,to be a nerd you're just gonna need a,skirt some suspenders a white top some,knee high socks and some nerd glasses,totally not being serious but if you had,a sister earth way and you guys could be,us for Halloween one dress glam and one,dress it should be a basic white girl,you will need a common Victoria's Secret,top some yoga shorts a Starbucks drink,and ups all you'll need for this is some,neon clothing some scrunchies some high,socks and you okay these to be a candy,corn you will need a candy corn,headpiece a yellow or orange top and a,yellow or orange skirt and some a white,shoes you're just going to need a Jersey,style top with some black paint on your,face to be a vampire you will just need,a black outfit anything red like my,shoes and a cape for a scarecrow you're,just gonna have to have a flannel a,floppy hat some jeans and some face,paint should be a beauty vlogger you,need to be completely done up on the,hips up and wear comfy clothes and,slippers at the bottom and have a camera,or the Twitter bird you're just gonna,need an all blue outfit a blue -
