10 FREE Halloween Crochet & Amigurumi Patterns That Will Get You in the Spooky Spirit! 👻🍬🎃
these amigurumi and crochet projects are, going to get you into the spooky spirit, this Halloween season, some of my favorite memories as a kid,are from Halloween and does anybody else, remember the plastic costumes that we,had back in the 1980s where it was the, plastic mask and it barely had a hole, for you to be able to breathe out of but,we all had them every single kid had, those Halloween costumes and those bring, back so many good memories for me but, today I'm going to be sharing my,favorite free Halloween crochet and, amigurumi patterns with you these are, adorable and they're all free I'm very, sorry you're going to hear pickle my cat, going crazy around here and if you, remember pickle was really really sick, and I updated you all on the community, tab about him because he has FIP and,we're doing the treatment for it and,he's doing amazing and he's going crazy, here in the room right now so you may,end up hearing him from time to time but,we're gonna start with the one that I,made first and it is so so cute pickle, what are you doing oh my goodness hello, pickles oh don't drop,it when I was on the hunt for a fun free, pattern for Halloween this one, immediately caught my attention and I,think it's because it reminds me of one,of my absolute all-time favorite movies, that I like to watch around Halloween, and that's Young Frankenstein, that's Frankenstein,if you don't remember it and maybe, you're too young for this but it was a,Mel Brooks movie from 1974 starred by,Gene Wilder and I love this movie so,very much and it just kind of brought, back memories oh my gosh there went, pickle it brought back memories, especially of the scene where Dr,Frankenstein and the monster do their, little dance and I just love that one, finally, different so funny but anyway I think,it's something about that little smile, and that little green that just made me,think of the monster and I just think it,is so much fun this is the crochet,Frankenstein candy pouch by repeat, crafter me and I just think it is,absolutely adorable I love the little, face I love the little scar up here and, that cute little smile but also I love, that it has a little drawstring and it's,meant to be a little tiny candy pouch, and I'm not sure if it would be strong, enough to keep me from getting into the, candy because I don't need to eat any,Halloween candy this year but I just, thought it was really cute it's really, fun it worked up super quick and I used, one of my favorite Yarns that I already, have in my stash which is the paint box, wool mix Aaron and I use the colors, spearmint pure black and paper white and, you'll find a link to this pattern in,the description box below make sure to,check out my brand new Halloween, amigurumi adoption kit it contains three, brand spanking new Adoption certificates, gift tags and a keepsake fake letter, template you'll find friendly ghosts, cute little bats a scaredy cat and a,haunted pumpkin house you'll find a link,to the Halloween amigurumi adoption kit,as well as all of my other amigurumi, adoption kits patterns and printables in,my shop oh pickle, pickle, you can't get out of the way, this is the little candy corn family and,it's from yours truly I designed this a,couple of years ago I got super into, this design and created names and, personalities for each one of them it,was just so much fun so this is the dad,and his name is Christopher corn and he,is a devoted husband and father he loves,DIY projects and he loves to golf on the, weekends this is the mom Candace corn, but everybody calls her candy haha, what I'm sorry that was a really that, was a really dumb joke but I it amused,me candy loves baking and she is very, well known for her Boston cream pies, this is little Caroline corn and she's,the baby of the family and she spends, her days giggling and blowing, raspberries I actually named her after,my younger daughter Caroline because, somehow this little candy corn reminded,me of her when she was a baby it might,be that big purple bow right there but,it just resembles my daughter somehow, but I have the free pattern and a video, tutorial for you and you'll find it in,the description box below if you don't,know Katie from the yarn Society let me,introduce you the world of the yarn,Society is full of the cutest and, sweetest little amigurumi toys and this,Charlotte spider is perfect for,Halloween I love that she made it in,soft pastel colors because it's not, really scary and some kids get really, scared of the Halloween decorations and, this one would be perfect for that child,or adult that's a little bit on the, timid side and they don't really like, all the scary stuff and one thing that,Katie said in her tutorial was that she, ended up designing this because her, daughter was really scared of spiders so,she decided to make this little, crocheted spider for her daughter to,help her get over her fear and it worked, but make sure to check out all of,Katie's beautiful designs she has so,many free patterns and tutorials and, you'll find a link for both in the, description box below this next pattern,is also a video tutorial and it's the, witchy hat from Roz by play hooky with,me I love this one so much because I'm,just gonna be honest with you I love to,dress up I think it is so fun to put a,costume on and pretend to be somebody, else for a little while but this one, would be super fun if you are dressing,up for Halloween or if you're gonna be,going out with your kids,trick-or-treating or maybe you're going,to be handing out candy at your house, and you just want to have a little fun, festive costumey kind of thing on this, little witchy hat would be so much fun,and I think it'd be really cute if you, added okay there's pickle again pickle,is playing with a candy corn family, pickle don't eat the candy corn,I'm trying to eat the baby corn don't,eat baby corn no no I would put a big, orange bow right there around the brim,of the hat and that would be so cute so,festive and you could have it for years,to come and you'll find a link for it in,the description box below the next, project is the ghost Advent calendar by,stringy ding ding I love this one it is,so cute my kids would have absolutely, pickle pickle my kids would have, absolutely loved this project when they, were little and who am I kidding they, would actually probably really love it,now and it's a little ghost and it's,separated into 31 different days so that, kids can start getting really excited, and okay sorry there's pickle this is,the perfect project to help kids get, super excited about Halloween but, actually I don't think most kids need, help getting excited about Halloween but,it will help them to count down the days, until Halloween because it has 31,different little pockets and you move, the little candy stick all the way each, and every day I think this one is really, clever and stringy ding ding has a lot,of really adorable patterns on her, website so make sure to check the link,in the description box below the next, project is the zombie from Spin A Yarn, crochet this one is so cute and I love, all the details on this little project, you've got the eye popping out and you, have the little brains and what's great,is that she actually has a video, tutorial for how to make those brains, and I watched it and I was like wow that,is genius because it gives it that, little detail that just makes it look so,amazing and Jillian from Spin A Yarn, crochet has so many adorable projects, hers are so professional looking and, they just look so cute and I love cute, spooky Halloween projects I don't love, super scary ones but this one just is a,little bit spooky but it's still really, really cute the next two projects are, from one of my very favorite crochet, designers and that's Amber from Divine, debris if you know Amber's work you know, that it is Whimsical and it is full of,personality and her be witchy wall, hanging is so much fun for Halloween I,love adding little decorative touches, around my home and it's a bonus if,they're handmade and this one has the, little kitty cats on the bottom and you,may already know but I'm kind of,obsessed with my own little kitty cat so,I thought that was such a cute little, detail but she also has a lot of other, fun free patterns on her website but I,also love her ghostly mushrooms while, hanging I think this one is so cute and,it combines that cozy cottage core with, the little ghost and this one is just so,much fun Amber's personality really, shines through with every design that, she makes and her crochet projects are,the best the next project are the, crochet witch gnomes by Jen Hayes,Creations Jen has a way with gnomes, let's just get that out there right now,she has lots of different gnome, variations and they are all so adorable, and these little gnome wedges are so,cute I love their long braids I love, those little striped stockings they're,wearing and look at the shoes Jen's,patterns are so well written she has and, attention to detail and you are going to,love these patterns one of the other, things that she has is she has a,separate pattern for the little broom, how cute is that I love the little, witch's broom she also has a cauldron, that she just changed the color but it's,originally her pot of gold pattern so,make sure to check the link for all of,those for the witches the broomsticks, and the little cauldron they're all so,cute and I just love Jen's designs she, really does do them so well and they're,very professionally done the next spooky,Halloween pattern is the crochet mini, ghost by Vincent from not bad Vincent's,patterns are so adorable and what I love, about him is that he is not the, traditional amigurumi designer we don't,see a lot of young men being amigurumi, designers but that's what I really love, about him and he's been very candid, about how crocheting has helped him, through a lot of tough times in his life, and I love that about him I love that,he's very open and honest about where,he's been in life life and how crochet, has helped him through those difficult, times in his life and these little, ghosts are so cute and you can change, the little face and it makes them look, really completely differently I had to,look up what chibi means in Japanese and,it just means small little and cute and,I think these are definitely that, they're small they're little and they're,totally cute the last pattern is,actually a collection from amigurumi.com,and I thought these were so cute, especially if you wanted to make all, them but one of them is actually my,favorite so you have a ghost a witch an,owl a pumpkin a cauldron a bat and a,broom and I must say that that little, broom is about as cute as it can be I,love that it has a little smile I love, that it's got a little hair bow up here,in its little broom bristles it's just,so cute so Halloweeny and I think these, would be really fun to make for your, kids or just as Halloween decorations to,have around your house I hope you, enjoyed these free Halloween crochet and, amigurumi patterns please give me a like, subscribe to the channel and I will see,you next week happy stitching and these Halloween patterns, membership started only $5 a month and,you can even get a free trial, learn more at club crocheted calm, alrighty now that that's done with let's,get hookin, hey there I'm Louis and in this video,I'm gonna be showing you how to crochet,a little amigurumi ghost for this, pattern you're going to need the, following materials I'm using all, worsted weight yarn in just colors white, and black you will also need just a,little bit of black just like a little, thread you also need a size G 4,millimeter crochet hook if you're using, worsted weight yarn like I am and you'll,need a pair of safety bead eyes I'm,using 6 millimeter safety bead eyes you, also need a darning needle to sew the, piece closed and to sew on the face but,the great part about this pattern is,that it's almost a no sew pattern the, only thing you need to sew on is the, face there's no pieces to sew together I,like to avoid doing that if I can, alright well without further ado let's,get hooking alright so we're gonna start, with our white yarn because that's,pretty much all we need and we're going,to start with a Magic Loop method for a,Magic Loop method you wrap your yarn, around your index finger three times, grab it ahold of it with your middle and, ring finger and do a little finger gun, like this take your crochet hook place,it under the two front loops right there, and grab a hold of that last one pull it,under those two fruit two front loops, and then grab that same yarn that you, just pulled under the loops to pull, another loop through to make a chain and, lock it into place and we can take it,off of our hand now for this pattern you, could also use the chain two method if,you feel more comfortable with that,we're using the magic loop of course,so for round one we're going to single, crochet seven times into the magic loop,or into the second chain from the hook,if you're doing the chain two method so,we're just going to go into the loop, pull a loop through yarn over a second, time and pull that second loop through, the two on the hook to make a single, crochet we're going to going to do that, six times in a row for our first round,so there's one two three four five and,six okay that's gonna be the end of,round one now we can close this loop up,there we go for round two we are going,to do a an increase into each stitch, around now to keep track of where we are,we're going to use a little stitch, marker we're just gonna use a little bit, extra yarn I'm gonna use this maroon, yarn that I just had leftover from my,last pattern I recorded and we are going,to do an increase into each stitch, around so we're gonna find our first, single crochet that we made we can do,that by counting backwards so we got one,two three four five six so it's gonna be,this stitch right there,go ahead and get our crochet hook under, that stitch and we can actually actually, let's take that out we're gonna take our, marker here go in between those two and, then take a crochet hook and go into, that stitch and then we'll single, crochet into that stitch to kind of lock, this this stitch marker in place so for, round two we're doing an increase into, each stitch around that's going to be,six increases total for an increase you, just do two single crochets into the, same stitch so we did our first single, crochet right there let's go ahead and,do another one go into the same stitch, pull it loop through there we go and, there's our increase we're gonna do six, increases so there's our first one two, there's our third increase and by doing, six increases you're going to go up from, six stitches around from our first round,to twelve stitches around so by the end,of round two here we should have twelve, stitches all the way around here's our, last increase okay we could take our, stitch marker pull it up a little bit,and just pull it over to the side this, little tail end here we can either use, this to sew on a keychain but I'm not, going to be adding a keychain to this so,I'm just gonna go ahead and cut it,really close since we really don't need,it and it's just gonna get in the way ok,so we'll hold all this to the side our, stitch marker is also a little long so,I'm gonna go ahead and cut that a little, closer to okay so for round three that's,gonna be around two so for round three,we're going to do a single crochet into, our first stitch so we'll go into this, first one right here just do a single, crochet and then we'll do an increase in,to our next stitch okay so a single, crochet and then an increase and you can, repeat that six times total okay so,let's do our second repeat single, crochet and then our increase there's,our second repeat there's gonna be our, third and do a single crochet and then,we do our increase and by doing six, repeats of this you're going to bring, your stitches up from 12 stitches around,to 18 stitches around so we should have,18 stitches by the end of round 3 here, crochet and then an increase and then, one more single crochet and then our, increase okay we can pull a stitch, marker up I can get grab it there we go,pull it over okay so for our next four, rounds that's rounds 4 5 6 & 7,four rounds in a row we're going to do a,single crochet into each stitch around, that's it just a single crochet in each, stitch all the way around four rounds in,a row so that's pretty easy,we're just do,our single crochets all the way around,if you like this pattern if you like the, videos that I make please like them down, below and share them with a crochet, group or a friend that crochets it,really helps out the channel I'm gonna,go ahead and make these four rounds of,single crochets now and I'll be back in,just a second okay so that's going to be,the end of round seven and our four, rounds of just single crochets now we,are on round eight for round eight let's,pull our stitch marker over for round, eight we're going to start by single, crocheting five now if you don't want to,put your arms on your piece in round, eight here we're going to be adding arms, and I've done a lot of these patterns, without arms so I'm gonna there's our 5,single crochets let me put this to the, side and explain what I'm doing here so,I've done a lot of these little ghosts, with no arms that's how I used to do it,all the time but then the other day I,made one with arms and I thought it was, just so cute that I'll add it into the, video if you'd like to make yours, without arms then just make this whole, round round eight here of just single, crochets otherwise continue the way,we're doing it right now to make arms so,let's continue right here we've done our, five single crochets now we want to do a,bobble stitch for a bobble stitch this,is how we're going to make the arms,we're going to yarn over and go into the, next stitch right here, yarn over a second time and pull a loop, through yarn over a third time and pull, through two loops on the hook and then,we're going to repeat that process four, times total so there's our first one, let's do another repeat we're going to,yarn over go into the same stitch that, you just worked into yarn over a second, time pull through yarn over a third time, pull through two loops and there's our, second repeat ok so we've got to do two, more yarn over into the loop pull, through yarn over and pull through two, there's our third repeat one more time, yarn over into the stitch, pull through yarn over pull through two, okay and then you should have five loops,on the hook by the end of your bobble, stitch there and to finish this up we're,going to yarn over and pull through all,the loops on the hook okay so there's,our first arm done little bobble stitch, okay so let's just recap we did five, single crochets and our bobble stitch, now we're going to do seven single, crochets OOP there you go so just do,seven single crochets so that's one two, three four five six and here is our, seventh single crochet and now we'll do,another bubble stitch okay so I'll go a,little bit quicker this time since we,already did it once yarn over into the, stitch pull through yarn over pull, through two if you want to learn more, about how to do a bobble stitch go to,club crochet comm slash bobble there, should be a link in the description, below or on screen now and I teach a,little bit more detail about how to do,bobble stitches the different variations,of a bobble stitch and how to do color, changes within your bobble stitch, alright so there's our second bobble, stitch done seven single crochets then, another bobble stitch and to finish up,our round see we're on round eight to,finish up around eight now we'll do four, more single crochets one two three and, four now look over look at our little, arms they're pretty good pretty cute, alright we'll pull this stitch marker, over now we're on to round nine for, round nine we're just doing a single, crochet into each stitch all the way, around pretty easy squeazy,I'll show you how to work a single, crochet into this bobble stitch in just,a second it's pretty easy if you look at,the top you can see the little DS okay,so just you're just gonna go under the,V's like you would a normal stitch there, you go that's it,let me know what you think of this, pattern in the comments below as well if,you can that that also helps and if you, have any suggestions for patterns you'd,like to see in the future please let me,know in the comments below it's always, nice to see a comment I think I reply to,pretty much every single comment that,it's ever posted here if I don't reply,to it I definitely read it I read every, one of them so don't be too mean alright,so there's our end of our round nine all, single crochets okay now for round ten, that's where we're going to start making, the ghostly parts of this pattern so for, round ten we're going to work all of our, stitches into the front loops only of,round nine that's the round we've just, made this round nine by the front loops, only I mean only these front loops okay, instead of going into both loops we're,only gonna go into these front ones, alright so we're gonna start by doing a,single crochet into the first front, loops we're gonna take crochet hook you, might need your nail here to get under, that front loop like so and we're just, going to do a single crochet into that, front loop boom easy enough okay now,we're going to do a half double crochet, and a slip stitch into the next stitch,if you're reading along you'll see that,I put them into little brackets that are, like that though if a stitch is in one,of those brackets that means that it's,both stitches are worked into the same, stitch so in this case it's a half, double crochet and a slip stitch so,let's first do our half double crochet, for half double crochet we're going to,yarn over go into the next stitch right, here again we're working only into that, front loop so make sure you just get, into that front one and then we're going,to yarn over pull a loop through then, yarn over and pull through all three, loops on the hook to do our half double, crochet and now we're also going to do a,slip stitch into that same stitch for a,slip stitch we're going to go into the, same stitch that we just worked into, yarn over pull a loop through, pull that same loop through the one on,the hook okay that's going to be the, half double crochet and a slip stitch, now we're going to repeat this process, doing a single crochet than the half, double crochet slip stitch nine times in,a row so let's do our second repeat here,I'll do a single crochet knit the first, one again we're working only into those, front loops and then our second one,we're going to do our half double, crochet and then a slip stitch there we,go and we'll just keep doing that, process that was our second repeat, here's our third half double crochet and, slip stitch okay single crochet and I'm,not even keeping count you could keep, count to make sure that you're doing the, right amount of repeats but if you got,it right if you have your 18 stitches, around you should you should end up,right tour right to the end perfectly,I'll show you what I mean in just a,second and do a slip stitch then a,single crochet half double crochet this, month in October I know I said this in,the beginning but I'm doing a new ghost, pattern every single week this month,it's quite an undertaking I'm filming, them all today so I'm going to be very, exhausted by the end of it and I'm not, going to tell you which one was the, first one I filmed and which one was the, last I really hope you like them though,I spent a long time trying to figure out,the perfect way to crochet all these and, here's our last repeat right here we're,doing a single crochet and then a half, double crochet and a slip stitch okay, there we go that's the end of round 10,there now before we get to round 11,we're gonna pull this loop out and we're,going to add our face we're gonna start,by adding our eyes so let's grab our, little safety bead eyes right here,1 & 2,okay we're gonna take them and here is,the perfect here's where I like to add, these safety of you guys let's show you,on the finished one right now if you go,to the two next to each of the arms and,go up three two stitches so one two and, then go over one more okay so let's go,like that go up to the arm we're going,to go one two and then over one so right, there okay and let's see where the other, one was the other one is again one two, right here and over one one two then, over one right here okay and obviously,I'm holding it upside down right now, there you go you can see the little, little eyes we can go ahead and lock, those in on the inside there we go one,and two now I'm going to show you how to,make the mouth I've made a few different, kinds of mouths and faces in the past,I'll just show you how to do a simple, smile but I've done a bunch of different, ones there's this little angry face we,got this guy who's like looks like he's,in he just stepped on a Lego or,something this guy's got a little bit of,a sly smile alright how I got the one,but let's just do a normal old just a,little smile this one's really quick and, easy so first off you're going to need, some black yarn I already have some cut,you actually don't need this much you, really just need like like that much, realistically barely make any at all you,can use a full strand of yarn if you, feel like that's what you want to do I,like to split my black yarn in half so,what I'm gonna do is I'm going to take, the top of it right there I'm just gonna, grab two little strands I'm just gonna, pull them apart very slowly to make half,of that so it's even smaller we're going,to take the end of that we'll take our, needle, here I'm gonna thread it on to our, needle and this is this I really like, making these mouths so first I'm gonna, come up from right next to the eye right, there and I'm gonna go straight across, two stitches one two right here and just,go straight back down you can sit there, like that so he'll have this little flat, face but we want to make it into more of,a smile so what we're gonna do is we're,gonna come up right through the center,of this stitch, okay so right through the center of the, stitch in between that mouth okay so not, through not through right there right, there, but right through the center right like, that I'm gonna come up make sure you, don't tie the yarn on the inside by,accident and we're going to go around, the mouth on the top of the mouth like, that, and back down through that same Center, okay just pull that in and now we can, pull both of these ends tight and you,see it makes a little they'll smile now, smile we can just double knot these two, ends on the inside and that is going to,be how we make our face pretty pretty, easy I love doing these faces they're so,quick and easy, like I said before I don't like sewing, pieces on if I don't have to sometimes, that's inevitable and it ends up making,it look better if you sew pieces on but, making just a simple face like that it's,just so much easier okay so let's,continue on in our pattern we are on,round 11 if you're following along in,the written pattern and we're actually, not going to bring this stitch marker, over but we're going to use it to find, out where our first stitch is you can,see right there that's gonna be our, first stitch right to the left of that, stitch marker now for round 11 we're,going to be working only into the back, loops from round 9,okay so we worked in the front loops for, round 4 round 10 we worked into the, front loops of round 9 around 11 working,in,the back loops that we didn't work into, last time into our first back loop right, here we're going to do a single crochet, and into the second one and third we're,going to do a decrease not an invisible, decrease or seam crochet 2 together,we're going to do a sharp decrease for, that we're going to go into the next, stitch and pull a loop through like,we're doing just a regular single, crochet then we're going to go into the, next next stitch right here pull a,second loop through and pull that second, loop through the two on the hook and, that's going to make a sharp decrease, that's gonna really flatten it out okay,we're gonna repeat that six times in a,row so let's do another one we're gonna,do a single crochet into the first one, here's our second repeat and then a,sharp decrease so we're gonna go into, the next loop pull a loop through into, the next next loop pull a second loop, through pull that second loop through, the two on the hook there's our second, decrease okay we're gonna beat that six, times total here's our third repeat and, this is gonna bring you down, you should have 18 stitches that you're,going to be working into but after this, round is over, you should have 12 stitches so it'll,bring you down to 12 stitches around, okay keep going and boop-boop-boop okay,I think this is our last one here and, this last one can be kind of hard okay,so let me just look you can see under it,you might have to really pull it open to,kind of see those stitches where you, want to work in - one two three okay so,let's start there first one one oh wait,we already did our one so that's one, there's our single crochet here's our, half double our decrease here we go this, one here's our last one right there yeah, that one's hard to get into well loop, through pull everything a little tighter, pull that through the two loops on the, hook okay, now you should have 12 stitches around,if you want to count it now we can stuff,it slightly you don't need to stuff it a,lot but you do want to stuff it a little, bit right here it'll make it easier in,the end if you just stuff it a little, bit right now just go ahead and stuff, that you want to make sure you get over, the eyes oh you're stuffing him probably, pretty good alright now let's do our, last round we are on round 12 for round,12 we're just going to do that sharp, decrease in each stitch around so that's,six sharp decreases in a row we're gonna,go into the next loop right here we're,gonna go into both loops now and do our, sharp decrease so there's one go into, both loops in the next stitch two and, then decrease pull them in there's our, first decrease here's our second pull it,in third, fourth fifth one more this one's a hard, one you got one we got a two and we'll,pull it in three, there we go and now you should have, stick six stitches around we can cut our, yarn and just pull that all the way, through now we can pull our stitch, marker all the way out and just pull it,Boop,it's all out just tweak it around so,that those stitches close up a little, bit more let's just use our stitch, marker we're just gonna stuff them up,with the stitch marker and any any, thread that we don't really need anymore,we'll just go ahead and use that to,stuff them up first before we finish up,the stuffing,I love these crochet hooks because the, rubber on the back here is really useful, for stuffing if you don't have one of,these try using a pencil it really, though the eraser of a pencil really, works a lot well their stuff them as,much as we feel is necessary we don't,want to go we don't want to over stuff, them so that the stuffing shows through,so you just want to be kind of yeah just, enough so he's squishy and but still, hard, alright so now the finishing touch will, seal them closed I have a video for how,to sew clothes that'll teach you this in,a little bit more detail I'll probably, put that on screen right up here or in,the description below but I'll also show, you really quick in this video so we're,gonna thread this on a needle okay we're,gonna go over we're going to count put, numbers to our stitches okay so this is,our last one right here so we'll call, that one six so six five four three two, one, and then this one right here we're gonna, call our zero stitch and that's going to,come into play in just a second we're,gonna go up to our third stitch so we go,dissin or zero we've got one two three,I'm gonna go into the top of the third, one go all the way over and come out of,our zero okay and don't pull that too, tight just yet,now we want to go down through four so,if this is three we want to go down, through the next one over it right here, four come under and then out through one, once you have your needle set up like, that you can pull this loop tight and, then we can there's our second one okay, now we want to go down through five, right here and come out through two okay, and again we got our needle in there so,now we can pull that tight go through, and then the last one we want to go down, through six the only way the easiest way,to know where six is and this is why you, don't pull it tight it's because you, just go down one over to the left of,where that last one went into we'll just,go ahead and pull that out the side, somewhere we'll pull this tight pull the, needle out and pull that tight you can, also come back down through the same, stitch you went through and go down, through the middle to make sure you have, like a little knot if you like to think,so you can cut the yarn really close and, that's how to crochet a classic little, ghost amigurumi thank you so much for, crocheting this little guy along with me,like I said in the very beginning of,this Easy Beginner Crochet Ghost 👻 Halloween Crochet Ideas
Easy Beginner Crochet Ghost 👻 Halloween Crochet Ideas
foreign, welcome to another yarn scrap Friday, crochet tutorial with me Laura and in,today's video I'm sharing this adorable, teeny tiny little ghost which is perfect,as a key ring or even earrings and great, for Halloween so let's begin shall we,okay so for this tutorial you're gonna, need some black yarn and some white yarn,so you can also make different colored, little ghosts if you want to and this is,a really quite an easy beginner friendly, project so do give it a try if you're,quite new to crochet and with that I'm,using a three millimeter crochet hook so,this is a sport babyweight yarn so it's,a yarn weight of two you can use any, yarn that you like and hook that's,suitable for the yarn you're using also, going to need a pair of scissors and a,yarn a tapestry needle as well that's,one with a big eye at the end carry your, yarn and also it's a good idea to have a,tiny little bit of stuffing as well so,or you can use yarn scraps for stuffing, okay so let's begin okay so you can, either use the magic circle or chain, four method so we're going to do the, chain four method which is a little bit, easier for beginners so we're going to,do our slip knot and if you're,completely new to crochet do check out,my beginner tutorials and then coming, back to this video so we're going to,chain four one, two, three, and four chain four let's put our hook, into our first chain, bring the arm through the first chain, and straight through the loop on your, hook and you've got a tiny little Loop,of chains, and into the center of there we're going,to work seven single crochets this, pattern's in US terminology so in UK,terms it's going to be double crochet,we're going to start off with a little, chain one though just for leverage don't,count that as a stitch so putting your, hook into the center not your first, chain which can look bigger into the, center, grab the yarn and just wrapping it,around the chains work a single crochet, and we want seven of those so that's one, two,so if you're working a magic circle just, work seven single crochet into your, magic circle instead,I'm just carrying the tail end as well, which helps bring in the circle at the,end to the hole at the end, four, five, six, and one more, seven okay because I carried that tail, you can just pull in that hole a little, bit and then we're going to slip stitch, into our first, single crochet,so bring the yarn through there and, straight through the loop on your hook,to do a slip stitch and I'm sorry I'm,working with white yarn which doesn't,show up best on camera so ghost why do,you have to be white maybe I should have, made a pink one,uh okay so then what we're going to do,is a little chain one again don't count, that as a stitch and going back into the, same single crochet just slip stitch, into get back into there we're going to,do two single crochet, you can do an increase so one single, crochet and another one in the same,Stitch two,and we're going to work two single, crochet in each Stitch around so we're,doubling up our Stitch count from seven,to fourteen so two in the next Stitch, one and another one two so two single, crochet in each Stitch around, okay, two in the next Stitch one and two, okay it's just coming up to the end of,the round sometimes it looks like, there's an extra Stitch here this is,your previous slip stitch or what I call, the fake Stitch so be careful not to,work into that check you have a stitch, count of 14 then find your first, single crochet, and slip stitch, into there,to join the round okay so it's the end,of round two now we're going to do two, rounds of just one single crochet in,each Stitch around so do a little chain, one don't count that as a stitch, starting in the same Stitch as your, previous slip stitch that first single, crochet we're going to do one single, crochet I'm just going to do one single, crochet,in each Stitch around so we're keeping a,stitch count of 14. I'm going to do that, for two rounds okay two rounds of just, one single crochet in each Stitch around,so I should do that then I'll come back, take a little time, just going up to the end of the second, round and then we're going to slip, stitch to join be careful not to work, into that fake Stitch, dreaded fig Stitch, and there we go so that's the end of our, should have four rounds now so we just, did two rounds of one single crochet in,each Stitch around, okay what we're gonna do now is we're,going to tuck our tail end on the inside, because it's annoying, all adds to stuffing as well and we're,going to do a little chain One to begin, and we're going to do one single crochet,in the first seven stitches so go back, into the same Stitch you just slip, stitched into do a single crochet and,we'll do one single crochet in the first, seven so one next Stitch,to,two next stitch three, next Stitch four, next Stitch five, next Stitch six,and then next Stitch seven okay so one, single crochet in the first seven, then we're going to chain three we're,going to create some tiny little hands,so chain three one,two and three we're going to slip stitch,in the same Stitch as our previous, single crochet so go back into there, just do a slip stitch, then we're going to do one single, crochet in the next two stitches so,single crochet, the next Stitch, single crochet,in the next Stitch and we're going to,repeat that again so chain three one,to,three and slip stitch in the same, previous, single crochet as your last single, crochet okay slip stitch into there and, then you should have uh five stitches, left so we're gonna do one single, crochet in the last five,so,one two, three, four and five and then slip stitch to,join, okay so I've got some little hands, appearing so the next round is a little, bit more complicated probably the most, complicated for beginners but uh give it,a try start off with a chain one and,we're going to do one single crochet in,the first seven just like before, starting in the same Stitch as your, previous slip stitch so the first seven, one, two, three, four, five, six and seven and that should bring you,up to your chain three,so what you want to do now is you want,to skip your chain three and skip the, tiny little slip stitch that you did as,well and find the next proper single, crochet,so but what you want to do is just Bend, forward, the chains because you want them on the, outside so the first thing to do is find, that single crochet which is here, and then just bring the arm through and, when you've got the two loops on your, hook then just pop your, chains to the front of your hook give it,a nice tug and then complete your single, crochet and that should get your little, hand easily on the outside, then you've got another single crochet,so we do one single crochet in the next,Stitch, and that brings you up to your next, chain three so we're going to skip the, chain three and a tiny slip stitch find, the first proper single crochet and to,do that you just want to find the two, vertical bars just underneath it to help,it appear,so put your hook into there, bring the arm through and again once, you've got the two Loops we're just, going to pop that chain three to the, front give it a nice tug and finish your, single crochet then you've got both, hands on the outside, then you should have four stitches left, after that so do one single crochet in,the last four, two, three and, four, then slip stitch to join, okay so if it looks something like this, then what we're going to do is we're,going to single crochet two together I'm,going to do that four times we're going,to start closing our little ghost up now,so do a little chain One to begin, and single crochet the first two, stitches together starting in that same,Stitch as your previous slip stitch and,we'll do normal decreases so as opposed,to the invisible decrease so we're going,to put our hook into that first Stitch, bring the yarn through into the next,Stitch bring the yarn through yarn over, pull through all three loops, okay we'll do that three more times into, the next Stitch bring the yarn through, next Stitch bring the yarn through pull, through all three let's do that twice, more, pull through all three and one more time, just getting those little hands out the, way, you might want to flatten your work to,make it easier to see the stitches,to the next Stitch, into the next Stitch, pull through all three, okay and then what we want to do is one, single crochet in the next three, stitches so,into the next Stitch, one single crochet, into the next Stitch, one single crochet, and one single crochet in the next,Stitch, okay so one single crochet in the next, three then we're going to do two single, crochet in the next Stitch,so two single crochets and increase so,one single crochet and another single, crochet in the same Stitch, okay and we'll do that in the next,Stitch as well so two single crochet,in the next Stitch as well one and, two, and then you should have one stitch left, and I don't so that's very interesting, why don't I have one stitch left, okay so I decided to go back and find, out where I missed a stitch I missed a,stitch you should have one that's Stitch, left and in the last Stitch we're just, going to do one single crochet,so one single crochet in the last Stitch, and then slip stitch to join in your, first decrease, okay,so what you want to do now is just bring,up a loop and get some stuffing and,we're going to stuff, our little goes it helps to use blunt, scissors, and just put some stuffing inside your, little ghost, okay so once you've stuffed your ghost, rejoin your hook and we'll do a little, chain One to begin so don't count that,as a stitch and we're going to single, crochet two stitches together three, times this time so starting in the same,Stitch it just slips it into, and then into the next Stitch, yarn over pull through all three to,single crochet those two stitches, together,do that twice more so into the next,Stitch and the next Stitch, pull through all three and then one more, time, into the next Stitch, into the next Stitch pull through all, three, for a decrease then we're going to do,one single crochet in the next three, stitches so,one single crochet in the next Stitch, one single crochet in the next Stitch, and one single crochet in the next,Stitch, then we're going to do three single, crochet in the next Stitch so three all,in the same Stitch, one, two, squeeze in another one into the same,Stitch, three so you've got three in there, then we finish up with should have two, stitches left and we do one single, crochet in the last two,so one single crochet in the next Stitch, and a single crochet in the last Stitch, slip stitch to join in your first, decrease, and then we are finished,so we can cut our yarn leave a little, bit before, sewing pull that through, sewing and maybe if you want to add a,loop at the top to turn it into a key, ring what we're going to do then is get, your yarn needle and we're just going to,drawstring close and almost sew it,closed flat as well,so we're going to go into, the next Stitch, out through the next Stitch, give that a little oops give that a,little tug, into the next Stitch, out through the next Stitch, into the next Stitch, thank you, help through the next Stitch, okay give keep giving it a little tug, then moving it round into the next,Stitch, out through the next Stitch, and then when you get to about here,we're just going to sew over to the, other side, and then again, sew over so we sew it closed flat, give it a nice tug and the last two, squeeze in another, little Stitch there we go and then we,can just hide our tail end, maybe one more time, hide your tail end,by sewing over somewhere, and then, just pulling slightly, cutting or turn end and then giving it a,squeeze the tail end should be hidden on,the inside so there we go that is our, completed Little Ghost what he needs now, though is some eyes and a little mouth,if you want to add that so we're going,to get two strands of,the black yarn, these scissors are very blunt, two strands of black yarn, and into the middle of there we're going,to tie,a knot into the center just one this, time,do that for the other strand as well, and what we're going to do is get our, yarn needle, thread that on,and sewing about two rows up one stitch, over from the hand,we're going to go in just come out, somewhere else, okay and don't pull it completely tight, the knot should catch on the outside but,not completely so,we're going to thread the other end but,you want to sew slightly over so the, knot catches on something on the outside,so I'm just going to SL sew slow so,slightly over, had too much coffee this morning,it should catch really nicely on the, outside, like so and then we can just cut our, tail ends you may want to secure this a,little bit more maybe sew it a bit more,I'm just good for the sake of this video,I'm just going to cut those tannins hide, them on the inside do it for the seam, for the other eye but this time we're,going to create a little mouth with the, leftover tail end so again about one two, three stitches over,so one end in,knots gone on the inside so you have to,be careful, then, sew slightly over catching some of the, yarn the fabric, okay so it's a little eye, then choosing the longest tail ends,we're going to sew back in and, create a tiny little mouth, somewhere, just a little straight line,so over to back here, back out to the other side,it's got a bit of a wonky smile well, even with a wonky smile I think he's,cute, and then I'll just cut the tail ends, like those on the inside, and there we go there is our tiny little, ghost with his cute little wonky face,to go with a little bit neater more,Smiley ghost this side,so I hope you enjoyed that tutorial I,hope you managed to follow along and, make some cute teeny tiny ghosts do,share them on Instagram if you're on,Instagram with a hashtag happyberry, crochet and a huge thank you to my,member Plus members and my patreon, members for How to Crochet a Ghost for Bunting
How to Crochet a Ghost for Bunting
hi everybody welcome to another yarn, scrap Friday and the Halloween theme is,continuing this week where I'm gonna do,this over two videos we're going to be,making a little pumpkin and we're going,to be making a little ghost and this is,to make into some bunting so and in this, second video I think we shall make the, ghost, okay so to make up case we're going to,be using some white yarn obviously and, again this is if you've been making the, pumpkin it's the same weight yarn it's a,DK light will stick weight yarn that, you're yarn weights of three and you're,also going to need two strands of black, yarn as well this is also a DK light, walls - great yarn as well so just a,couple of short lengths of black can be,use for the eyes and we're going to be,using a 3.5 millimeter efore crochet, hook and you're also going to need a,pair of scissors and a yarn needle as,well okay so let's begin guys the first, thing to do is we're going to take our, white yarn and we are going to chain, seven to begin we're going to chain, seven so I'm going to do a little slip, knot okay and we're going to chain seven,so one two three four five six and seven,so we're going to chain seven and we're,going to do two half double crochets in,our second chain from hook now we don't,count the loop on our hook, there's off first chain our first stitch, there's our second one that little,v-shape and in there we're going to do,two half double crochets so we're going,to yarn over it's in us terminology and,I'm going to put a hook into that second, chain bring the yarn through and then,we're going to yarn over pull through, all three do a half double crochet I,want two of those in the same chain so,we yarn over again and go back into the, same chains and one again do another, half double crochet okay so you've got,two in there then we're going to do one, half double crochet in the next four, okay next for chain so go into the next, chain do a half double crochet don't,normally work with white yards is quite, hard to see so I do apologize so one, half double crochet in the next chain, and one half double crochet in the next, chain right so and half double crochet,in the next chain and a half double, crochet in the next chain okay so one, half double crochet in the next four, chains quantity 4 that should leave you, with one chain at the end and in there,we are going to do 5 half double, crochets now when you work into your, chains along here and it's a good idea, just to work under one bit of yarn, because you want to work into these, chains again and if you work under one,bit of yarn that side it makes it easier,to see the chain again on the other side,so we're going to work into them twice,so in this last half double crochet,we're going to do five in this last, chain we're going to do five half double, crochets so one then back into the same, chain again two, back into the same chain again three you,can see your work starting to turn as,you turning clockwise as you add all, these half double protease at the end so,three and then back into the same chain, again four and one more the same chain, again five okay so we've got five half, double crochets in there and now we're,working it back in the opposite, direction you should be facing this, direction and hopefully because you're,what worked under one but if you're on,this side it should be fairly easy to,see your chains to work into them again, and what we're going to do is we're,going to do 1 half double crochet in the, next 4 we're going to mirror these this, site here so find your next chain along, should just lift it up a little bit so,there's the last when you worked into, that is the last one,it's just able from there but your hook, you should get the next chain along do 1,half double crochet in there ok then, next one,I'm half double crochet in there and if,you're new to working into your, foundations trice like this I've done a,video in more detail so I'll put a link,in the description to that tutorial it's,quite an old one that so one two and, then next chain one half double crochet, then the next chain thanks for my long, there's an X on there it is one half, double crochet so you've done one half, double crochet in the next four one two, three four and that should leave you, with one chain at the end and in there,we are going to do three half double, crochets because we did two here at the, beginning but we need it to match the, same as this same we've got five done, this and which means we need to do three,in this last chain so go into the last, chain and do three half double crochets,so one all in the same chain two and, three you should end up with this sort,of oval shape like this, okay and then what we're going to do is,we're going to slip stitch in our first, half double crochet that we didn't if,you can't see just might want to pull, your stitches down pull your stitches, down just so you can make sure you see, this half double crochet at the top I'm,going to put off hook into that first, half double crochet we did bring the, yarn through straight through the loop,on your hook to do a slip stitch to join, the round okay then what we're going to,do is we're going to do a little chain, one we're not going to count that as a,stitch so to dig in all that as a stitch, then going back into the same half, double crochet just slip stitched into,we're going to do two half double, crochets so go back into that same half, double crochet just slip stitched into, and do half double crochet and then go,back into the same stitch again to do,another one if your two half double, crochets in there we're going to do two, half double,Shea's in the next stitch as well so to,the next stitch one and two okay, two in there then we're going to do 1,half double crochet in the next five, okay in the next five go into the next, stitch do a half double crochet one next, stitch two next stitch three next stitch, for next stitch five okay so one half, double crochet in the next five then we,are going to do two half double crochets,in the next four stitches okay so in the, next stitch we do two half double, crochets so do one and another one the, same stitch two it's got two in there, two half double crochets in the next, stitch and two to England then two half, double crochets in the next stitch one,and two then two half double crochets in,the next stitch as well one and two okay,so you've done two half double crochets,in the next four stitches and then what,we're going to do is we're going to do 1,half double crochet in the next five, same as a slider so next stitch 1 next, stitch 2,next stitch three next stitch 4 so yeah, next stitch 5 so one half double crochet,in the next five ok 1 2 3 4 5 and that, should leave you with two stitches and,we're going to do two half double, crochets in those last two,so next stitch we do two half double, crochets one and another on the same, stitch - okay so you've got two in there, and that leaves you with one stitch,we're going to do two half double, crochets in there as well okay one and, another one the same stitch okay so you,got two in there and it looks like, there's another stitch there but if you,use to my videos you will know that is,what I call a fake stitch so make sure, you don't work into that stitch skip, that little fake stitch skip your chain, one and find your first stitch proper, stitch half double crochet put your hook, into there and do a little slip stitch, every go to join the round it should, look a little something like that as if,we're starting a shoe but then what,we're going to do is we're going to,chain one in a chain one again, don't count that as a stitch and we're,going to go back into the same stitch we,just slip stitched into put your hook, straight into that same stitch you just, slip stitched into and do a little slip, stitch so bring it straight through the, loop on your hook okay then we're going,to do one slip stitch in the next five, stitches so go into the next stitch and,do a slip stitch next stitch into a slip, stitch too, next stitch slip stitch three next, stitch slip stitch 4 and the next stitch,5 okay so one slip stitch in the next, five and then what we're going to do is,we're going to create some little arms,so well one arm and we're going to chain, four so one two three and four, chain four I'm going to do a slip stitch,in the second stitch in my hook so again,we don't count bleep on a hook as our, first as our second hook into there and,the arm through then straight through, the loop on your hook do a slip stitch, then we're going to do a single crochet,in the next chain one single crochet and, then that should leave you with one, chain and in there we're going to do a,half double crochet,it's a last one do a half double crochet, okay half double crochet then we're,going to do a slip stitch in the next, seven back on this main body so go,straight into the next stitch here do a,slip stitch that's one the next stitch, two, next stitch 3 next stitch for, next stitch five, make stitch six,and the next stitch seven okay so one, slip stitch in the next seven okay then, what we're going to do is we're going to,do a single crochet in the next stitch,so next stitch do one single crochet, then the next stitch we're going to do,one half double crochet half double, crochet in there then in the next stitch,we're going to do three double crochets, three double crochets in the next stitch,we do one and go back into the same same, stitch two and back into the same stitch, again three so you've got three double, crochets in there, okay one two three and then we are going,to chain four it's working on the tail, now chain four one two three four is it,it sounded like this bit the bottom, chain four and then in the second stitch, from hook so don't count eleven hook one,two that second one we're going to do a,slip stitch okay so a slip stitch in,there then the next chain we're going to,do a single crochet then in the next, stitch we're going to do a half double, crochet then a half double crochet in,there then we're going to do is find the, last double crochet these three so,there's your last double crochet we're,going to work into that stitch basically,I'm going to do a double crochet so yarn, over and literally putting your hook, through the middle of this double, crochet as neatly as you can because,it's not a proper stitch there so you're,just going to have to push your hook, through as neatly as you can, something I don't do it's literally just, going for the middle of that double, crochet I'm going to do a double crochet, like so it's actually just going through, the center of that double crochet then, what we're going to do back on the main, body we're going to skip the next stitch,is skip one then in the next stitch so,skip one and go into the next stitch and,do a slip stitch okay see you created, your little tail,I'm going to do a slip stitch in the, next three so next stitch do a slip, stitch one next stitch two next stitch, three and then we've got to create our, other arms it's the same as this side,we're going to chain four one two three, four do a slip stitch in your second, stitch from hook,so 1 2 do a slip stitch always quite, fiddly then a single crochet in the next, chain then a half double crochet in that, last chain, there we go half double crochet in there, okay and then we should just do a slip, stitch in the remaining should have five, stitches left one two three four five so,go straight into the next stitch we,don't skip any do a slip stitch we're,just slip stitch into the end you should, have five so one stitch to next stitch, three next stitch four and the last one, five okay I'm like so and there's our, little fake stitch there so don't let, that trick you just well there's a,little chain one and then you should, find your first slip stitch and we're,going to slip stitch into our slip, stitch as neatly as you can there's,gonna be a little bit tricky okay, like saying there we go that is all, finished almost finished ghost but we,need to do those we need to create a,little loop on the top so we're going to,chain ten one two three four five six, seven eight nine and ten this is only if,you're making the bunting ten and we're,going to slip stitch into that same slip, stitch again normally just slip stitched, into a little slip stitching going on,there so go back into that same slip, stitch that you just slip stitched into, and do a slip stitch there we go,and you can cut a yarn just pull the, tail in through and then we just need to,need enough our tail end so I'm going to,sew back through that slip stitch again, get my tail into the back turn it over, and then just sew through a little bit,of stitching as neatly as you can in one, direction and then go back in the, opposite direction so at the camera and, then just trim it the excess off and we,can trim this one down as well okay okay, and also have to do now is to add some, eyes so this bottom hole here because we,worked the five double crochets ends up,being quite big so it ends up looking, like a little mouth we're going to,create a little couple of eyes there, just up here and here and to do that we,bring in our two short lengths of black, yarn and we're going to tie a knot into, the center of our black yarn so we're,not going to do that again so another, knot and make it land on top of the, other one and do one more so we do three, knots all on top of each other they all, need to land on top edge on you get that,or not in the middle big knot I'm going,to take one end of our black yarn and, finding these two little holes here be,good good spaces for eyes we're just, going to sew not right through the, middle but just slightly to one side one,end of our black and then do the same, for the other but again just do it the, other side just slightly over of the, hole just helps catch it and then the, little knot three knots catch on the, outside then we just turn it over tie a,couple of knots to hold that in place, and then trim the excess down like so,then just repeat that for the other, sides I'm just gonna repeat that for the, side and I'll come back to show you the, finished Coast and then we can just beat,it up the other side so we've got two, little eyes and there could be as little, mouth but you could always sew on a,little smile face whatever you fancy, until sort of circle of black where you, stick on something else it's entirely up,to you and if you haven't seen my,tutorial for the pumpkins go with this, bunting then you can check out that, video the links in description below and, over this video you can find out how to,make a little pumpkin as well which also, work really well as a little apple as,well so there we go,and I've repeated that lots and lots of,times lots of goats lots of pumpkins and,I'm going to crochet these all together,to make some bunting so I shall do a,little separate video because I haven't,finished making of these yet do a little, quick separate video just to show you,how I join them together as well so,watch out for that and otherwise I will, see you soon it's a more crochet fun, happy Halloween bye

Halloween Spider Web Crochet Crop Top | TUTORIAL | DIY
Halloween Spider Web Crochet Crop Top | TUTORIAL | DIY
hey guys welcome to my youtube channel,my name is kelsey and today i'm going to,be showing you how to crochet this, really cute halloween inspired spiderweb, crop top,all right so for this tutorial i'm going,to be using lily, sugar and cream yarn in the color orange,it's hot orange and then i am using,uh black it's lovely sugar and cream, this is just the cone yarn, that they have and you're also gonna, need,a four millimeter crochet hook this is a,g,clover ergonomic hook and then i'm using,a tapestry needle and then i also have, some scissors as well,so i'm gonna start with orange this is,going to be the, spider web so you can use any color you, want,i am going to make a magic circle,um if you don't like making magic, circles you can, chain four and then slip stitch into, your first chain to make a little loop, but i am personally going to be making a,magic circle today so i'm going to take,my yarn, holding my end piece and wrap it around,my fingers, and cross it like that so it makes an x,and then you're going to,go over under this one, like that the top right here and then,i'm just going to grab this yarn, and pull it through, and then from here i'm gonna chain, three, and that chain three is gonna be a,double crochet, and a chain one so now,i'm gonna be placing seven double, crochets,in the round with a chain in between, each of them,so that first chain three is counted as,a,double crochet and a chain one for me so,i'm gonna do,a double crochet chain one, double crochet chain one i'm gonna do,that, seven times so that we have eight total, including that chain three,so i have eight total one two three four, five six seven eight and i'm going to,make sure that i chain one after my last, double crochet, and then from here i'm going to be,connecting,my round so i'm going to,slip stitch into the second chain, just like that so from here,i'm going to be chaining two,and that is going to count as my double, crochet,so every time we are, going out a row our chain length in,between our double crochets is going to,increase by two so i did one here, which means on this row i'm going to be,doing three so i did my chain two as my,double crochet, now i'm going to chain three and then,i'm going to place a double crochet,in the top of my next double crochet, right here, like that so you should have a little, square now i'm gonna be chaining three,i'm gonna place my next double crochet,in this one right here, and we're just going to be doing this, all the way around so in between every, single double crochet you're going to,chain three, and then place your next double crochet,on top of the previous one so we should, have, eight double crochets in,three chains in between each of them, all right so i just did my last double, crochet, and i need to chain three for this space, and then from there i'm going to slip, stitch into the second, chain so that's one and that's two,and then that is going to complete our, round and every round from here on out,is pretty much the same,we are literally just adding two chains,to each space so my next round i'm going,to chain up two for my double crochet,i'm gonna be adding two chains to the, previous round which was three so this, one is going to be five,so i'm going to do one two three four, five, double crochet into my next one, then i'm going to chain five, double crochet, chain five, double crochet,i'm going to do this all the way around, until i get, right here my last double crochet i'm,going to chain five and then i will slip, stitch, into my second chain so there is that, round, finished, starting to look like a little spider, web,so this is three rounds it's one, this one would be two that one would be,three and i'm gonna do this for a total,of six, rounds increasing by two chains each, time,so this is one chain three chains five, chains and then my next round would be,seven chains,my next one would be nine chains and, then,my last round i believe would be 11,chains,and i'm going to do that and then i will,be right back, okay so here we are with my finished, spiderweb so the next part we're gonna, work on is gonna be,our top the bottom portion, and i'm gonna be using black i'm going,to make,a slipknot, put it on my hook, and we're gonna be doing a double, crochets,um you can start anywhere,on your spider web it doesn't matter you, just need to start,at a double crochet,so i'm going to start here i'm going to,yarn over and i'm going to be placing a,double crochet just right on top of the, other one here, and i'm going to be double crocheting, all the way across, these two chain 11 spaces, until i get to this double crochet right, over here, all right so i double crochet across, these two chain spaces, now i am at this double crochet here, and in this double crochet i'm going to,be placing five double crochets, whenever i get to my third double, crochet which would be my middle,i'm going to be placing a stitch marker, and then i'm going to,finish up with my last two stitches so,there would be our center, that's where it's going to turn and then,we're just going to do the same thing, that we did over here we're gonna double, crochet across, these two places i'm gonna be ending up,right over here so here we are,i went from here to this middle where i,did five, double crochets then i went from here to,here,so at this point if you want to do,stripes or something this is where you, should change your colors but i'm just, gonna keep going, with my black but basically we're just, going to be doing that row over and over, again,we're going to double crochet, across until we get to our stitch marker, and then add our stitch marker we're,going to be placing five double crochets,i'm going to move up my stitch marker to,that middle stitch and we're just going,to come back, down to the other side so for myself,i'm making a size small and,i am going to be doing seven rows of,this double crochet, with the five double crochets,in the center all right so i'm back,we have our spider web up here and then,i have my,seven rows like i said i'm making a,small for myself,so i did seven rows but,you can do as many rows as you need for,the length,of your top from this point it's going,to be flat,so this will be up by,your collar bones and it will be,stretched out like that,so just measure how long you need it and, just keep going, with your rose but from here,i'm gonna turn my work over i'm gonna do,double crochets across the bottom, just like you would start any of your, other rows,we are going to be stopping right before, our, cluster of five,so that would be right here, and that is where we're going to end i'm,going to cut my yarn, here we're going to need to keep the row, going on the other side over here,so i am going to attach my yarn,on the stitch to the other side,of my cluster of five, which is this one, from here i'm going to start my,row of the double crochets,so if you are doing stripes, that is the method you're going to want,to use you're going to want to go up,cut off your yarn and just keep going, down the other side because every row is,going to be a different color, but for me i'm going to be doing, something a little bit different,if you're using the same color,in order to avoid all of the cutting in,the tails everywhere, you can just do instead of row by row,on each side you can do one whole side, and then your other whole side, but if you're doing stripes you're going,to have to cut your yarn every row, anyway so i'd say that first option, would be the best but if you're doing, all one color this would be good,so i am coming up to the end of my row,and we're gonna be stopping two double, crochets, short from the end so,right here i have two double crochets, left so that is where i'm gonna stop, and if you're doing stripes like every, other row, this is where you're gonna cut off your, yarn and then you would reattach it,right over here in the third stitch, skipping these two,but since i'm doing all the same color,it would be easier,to just go ahead and turn my work, and keep doing this side so we're going,to skip these first two double crochets,so we're just going to slip stitch, and slip stitch and i'm going to slip, stitch into my third one,as well so we're gonna do three, slip stitches skipping all of those, stitches,i'm gonna chain two place double crochet, and that is gonna be the start of my row,so i'm just going to,double crochet all the way across, until i get to my other side, and then we're just going to be,repeating that so i'm going to,continue this pattern it's going to just, continue out this is going to be flat, this is going to be curved, but once i get to about here, when i have around 20 24 stitches left,i'm going to change this so that it,becomes, flat so that we can lace up the back of,our top really easily,i just did my last row,it has 22 stitches in it that was a,total of one two three four, five six seven eight rows um,and at this point i'm gonna start, squaring down my side,we are gonna be doing the same thing,we're doing over here which is skipping, two stitches each time we do a row,and that's going to add those steps to,the side as well, from here this is my bottom i'm going to,be doing what we were, normally doing which is slip stitching, three, chaining two and then double crocheting, across, the only difference is we're going to be,skipping, two on the other side as well so,coming up on the end here i have three, left, and i'm gonna be skipping these last two,so i'm just gonna place, one more and that is what we're doing so,we're gonna turn this,we're gonna do the same thing that we,have been doing across the bottom,so the slip stitch three, and then go ahead and start our next row,and we're gonna be doing this uh pattern, until we get down to our corner, and you should only have a couple, stitches left,so i've done one two three four rows,on my side i currently have, six stitches left i'm just going to do,one more row,i'm going to slip stitch my three,go up and then we're only going to be,placing, two double crochets because,we need to skip two on this side as well, and then that will be the end,of our side here what i'm going to do,now,is i'm going to do this on my other side, make sure that it all matches up and, then,we will be crocheting around our edges, putting on some straps and then we will,be,ready for halloween all right,so i finished both of my sides and, here's what it looks like, right now um at this point,i am still connected to my end piece, and i'm gonna start crocheting, around my edges in between each of these, steps we're going to be doing, two chains and single crocheting, into the top so i'm right here i'm gonna, start with two chains and then i'm going,to place a single crochet,in the end of my little bump there, and then we're gonna chain two single, crochet, chain two single crochet, and we're just going to do this all the,way across,so i went all the way across the bottom,i'm coming up on the end here but,um we're just going to chain, two and i'm just gonna single crochet, across these two, stitches here and then,we're gonna do the same thing that we,were just doing,up the side here once you finish, your side we're just going to be placing,a regular, single crochets along, this edge here, once you get up your side we're going to,be going around, our spider web we're just placing a,single crochet in all of our, chains as well as our double crochets, going to single crochet up to,this point where my strap is going to be,i'm going to place two single crochets,in that double crochet right there, single crochet across here, and do two right there and then i'm,gonna go down this side, gonna do single crochets all the way, across here and all the way down here, until i,meet back where i started,i have made it all the way around and,for the end here i'm just going to,single crochet across these two, stitches and you can,end it at this point but i,like to do another row of single, crochets all the way around my project, instead of doing another row of black i,think i'm going to go around my edges, with orange and then i'm just going to,single crochet, all the way around my top into every, single, chain and single crochet that i did, before,in my corner the last time i went around,i did two, single crochets right in that double, crochet here,so what i'm going to do this time is i'm,going to single crochet into the first, one, and then i'm going to chain one and i'm,going to single crochet into my next one,and when i do that,um it does kind of turn your work, very subtly but um whenever i go to put,on my straps i'm gonna know,to put it in this chain one so it is,helpful,in turning your work and it is also, helpful to,know where to add your straps later but,i'm just going to go across my top here,i'm going to do the same thing, right there i'm going to continue with,my single crochets all the way around, until here i went all the way, around finished off down here and then i,tied my ends off but now, that is the finished, top portion all we need to do is add the, straps,so i'm gonna find my chain one that i,did earlier which is right here, and put my hook in there i'm gonna pull,my yarn through, and then i'm gonna tie a knot, and this is where you're going to need, your tapestry needle,so i'll turn my work over and we're just, going to be weaving this end, down through so that it doesn't come up,it doesn't have to be perfect i've never, really had a problem with,my straps coming out so,there's that and now we're just going to,stick our hook back through that same, spot that we tied or not, pull through and we're gonna start a,chain, and that is gonna be where strap goes,so after you have your straps done we're,going to,lace it up so i'm going to flip it over,so that the back is facing me,and then i'm going to take, this one and it's going to go in,our first little, triangle right up here,i'm going to take this corner and do the, same thing, thank you guys so much for watching i,really hope you liked this halloween, tutorial, you can find me all over social media, those are going to be linked down below,as well as my etsy if you want to look,at that, thank you guys so much for watching, please like and subscribe,if you want to see more content from me,thank you,you
