using,just one of my desks i'm gonna be,swapping the old desk with the new desk,i'm excited because it's bigger if,you've been on my channel you know that,i well you might not know but usually i,like to desk i like doing like the l,shape because i like having my workspace,where i'm actually working like on my,laptop or my computer and then the other,space just putting everything over there,if i'm working on it tried to have it in,the window area and it just was not,working it was working out but with my,couch being behind it just felt a little,too claustrophobic i work from home i'm,always sitting down it's not that great,it's not that great for my health right,now i got a little treadmill i gotta,tell ya i'm excited about putting that,treadmill underneath my desk and being,able just to stand up stretch my body,and not just have to sit down so much,because sitting down i do feel,constricted last time i moved my desk,set up this is what it's looking like i,preferred the window setup this is okay,i'm just not crazy about the little,cubes over there right now kind of hard,to get under there and whatnot also the,level of the desk i can't put my cart in,but i can't raise the desk because it,cuts off the cubes with how big the desk,is i know it's going to take up,this whole space from this bookcase,right here all the way,to those cubes so what i'm gonna do i,think is i'm gonna move this back into,that corner and then the new,flexi spot e7 desk is going here since,it is a standing desk i know depends how,high,the desk is going to be when i'm,standing because i don't want it to hit,this obviously this wall i think i'm,going to do i don't know really what i'm,going to do guys a little before and,after i get my life right guys i need,help look at all this stuff,oh,i've gotten,all of the pieces out of the box raven,has been so so helpful that's the table,top over there instructions here and,again if you guys are curious i have the,e7 i can put stuff together like this is,fine but my brain just cannot my brain,has a hard time,taking information that's on paper like,it's better if someone just tells me so,i'm gonna start putting this together,raven you're gonna have to move though,i'm so sorry,so,here's a little update on the desk,situation i'm just trying to decide if i,want it there's raven she's saying hello,can't decide if i want to keep it on,this wall where it's at currently or if,i want to put it back on this wall right,here i haven't decided because like i,mentioned earlier i'll be using the desk,probably standing up the majority of the,time just want to make sure that i don't,know i'm not covering anything important,on the wall like that doesn't really,have any kind of effect i also like it,here because i like having,my vision board like directly where my,computer screen is at but the only thing,is i don't know what to do with this,little cubesat thing,i'm gonna try to move,this desk over here again swap out the,cubes over here see how they look,because eventually i want to get some,drawers that are kind of like this but,they're the longer,wider ones that sit lower i want to get,like a few of those whenever i'm able to,i don't want to rely on where the desk,ends up being,based on these it's like nice to stand,up it just feels more relaxed honestly i,also like it because when i go to craft,i like standing up or sometimes i also,like sitting on a stool where my desk is,a little bit higher which is why i've,hung onto my old desk for so long,because they are adjustable but you have,to get on your hands and knees every,time moved in and i kind of,regret hanging them up but,i know i can move them but it's just i,feel like it's,too much work there'll be like the holes,and whatnot but,this little shelf this is like the cut,off like this little shelf right here is,the cut off for like the desk space here,i might or just let it sit there for a,while like maybe a day or so and see how,i like it hey guys so it's been a little,bit since i last vlogged about my flexi,spot desk so far i've kept it in the,corner where i last,left off with everything i am happy with,it so far i really like it i've already,seen like how you can adjust it you can,also set so i did one first set which is,like this and it,it's like the perfect height when i have,my desk chair can also do one for,standing and i've honestly been using,both like in the mornings i start with,it standing i also really liked stan the,standing because i don't know when i,edit hard for me to focus so if i can,like move around while i'm editing it,editing a video or like a podcast,episode or something just sitting down,like it kind of drives me,nuts so far i think i'm gonna leave it,against this wall it's kind of dark in,here so i went ahead and moved the cubes,over here for now i'll probably,eventually change this up but i was just,putting this i just put this all here,just while i was trying to get my desk,situated i don't have to worry about any,of like the photos getting covered up,behind if i were to hang up some,halloween wall decor we have my printer,down here still playing with some,trinkets this is my normal planner i,have a few notebooks here,this is like important paperwork like,bills,maybe some contracts and whatnot and,then i have more little notebooks here,and then this one down here is my,therapy notebook because i don't know if,you guys know,i started therapy,that's been,that's been something so,down here i have this is my youtube,binder which i haven't really used,recently because i've just been,i don't know kind of busy doing all of,my youtube and like my patreon and stuff,like that so i need to get into the,habit of using that again here is my,halloween happy planner and then this,little binder is just like specifically,for videos that go on to my channel this,is just a little mug that broke,a while ago so i've been using that as,just a little thing to collect the odds,and ends here's one of my favorite signs,i think i got this from gordman's,there's not one out here in,massachusetts there was back in kansas,some more odds and ends just have like,some halloween washi tape i have some,paint markers some gel pens over there i,want to get like some baskets or,something,i don't know normally this stuff was,just hidden by my desk to where you,can't really see it some old halloween,happy planners that i've made throughout,the years that i personally use this is,like my microphone and headphones,and then down below is just a lot of,like camera equipment like just old,cords and stuff that i need to go,through i can't wait to go through this,whole unit this is like all of my,halloween craft supplies well most of,them anyway,but i can't wait to go through that and,just organize it because it's honestly,pretty cluttered and messy let's see,look at all this it's just,there's a lot you know so i just kind of,need to go back through it and organize,it,as we get deeper down here the drawers,get out of control,i definitely am looking forward to,organizing all of this still have my,bulletin board a few more little,chalkboard markers i don't really know,where i got it from i can't remember but,also this candle,it smells amazing i have not burned it,yet i talked about the room spray in one,of my older vlogs and it smells so good,it's like intoxicating midnight amber,from which city wicks which is a local,candle shop here in salem my wax burner,here i got this a long time ago from,dylan's which is can be known as kroger,some places and some halloween happy,artwork that someone was so kind to make,me i have a little mirror i usually like,to do my makeup at my desk and just kind,of like enjoy my coffee catch up on any,youtube videos or anything like that and,i got this from amazon and it's nice,because it has a,ring light to it as you can see it has,like a,natural setting and then it goes into,warm and then cool and whatnot and then,it just charges into your computer,forgive my computer right here because,i'm trying to,i don't know,just having issues honestly i'm trying,to figure every i'm trying to make,things work without,getting new things i have my water,jug this is newish i got this from,amazon some little bath and body,products over here you guys have already,seen this in a haul pumpkin carving,diamond shimmer mist and then my,favorite sweet cinnamon pumpkin,and then in this little pumpkin,basket i have some hand sanitizer this,came from bath and body last season,i have my air pod holder,this is from amazon as well some,chapstick some more hand sanitizer also,have this pumpkin spice and vanilla chai,lotion i also have this little yankee,candle car jar this is in it's harvest,but they call it autumn splendor it's,one of their softer fragrances but it's,so good it's like cinnamon,clove i kept this by my desk because,i like smelling it and it just puts me,in a good mood i got this from a thrift,store or actually i got this from bath,and body a long time ago it was on,clearance this crystal if any of you,guys know what type of crystal this is,because i need to,i need to look it up and i just haven't,but it's supposed to bring creativity to,you and joe's mom got this for me i,think for christmas,it's so beautiful it's like super heavy,and,she knew that i was having a hard time,with like,not a hard time with halloween happy but,she knew i was like overwhelmed,and i was just needing like a little,breakthrough a little create a creative,encouraging thing so she was so nice and,got this for me these little cards i,think i got these from,hobby lobby,they're just little kindness cards and,it has like different little,postcards and i just like to send these,to,my friends and i'll just write little,notes on them just as like a little hey,thinking of you hoping things are well,happy halloween yeah i got this from a,thrift store a long time ago it's really,really cute a little stress ball do you,guys remember when target had these,candles this is just a,small little one it was like three,dollars,like six seven years ago apple pumpkin,smell someone had sent these to me they,sent me two and then you guys have seen,my little pumpkin ceramic guy here he's,so adorable he's like a little paper,sack like you know when you use a paper,sack as a lantern that's what that,reminds me of a little tombstone that,was also from target a long time ago and,this little paper mache jack-o-lantern,when i worked at,the vet clinic back in kansas when i,like first started,there was a one of my old co-workers had,given this to me i need to get some more,things to organize this cart i got the,cart from either target or,michael's i think some notepads,planner stickers,i feel like you guys have seen this,drawer i kind of need to go through it,planner stickers so it says don't forget,this is a halloween one and then i have,these little ghost sheets talked about,these before in my planner layout video,i need to go through and put all of the,stickers like the planner stickers i,feel like butter super cute and you can,just organize,your stickers simply gilded why do i,always call it simply guided probably,get to organizing once,halloween is done kept everything the,same up here on the shelves,eventually i do want to kind of,rearrange the stuff just ended up there,just because there's no other,space for it Halloween Makeover | Decorate My Workspace with Me!

hi guys welcome back to my channel or,welcome to my channel if you're new here,so as you guys can tell we have a,different setting today so as I,mentioned in my previous video I was,going to take you guys along with me to,decorate my work cubicle,so hence why we are in a different,setting so I'm not gonna mumble much I'm,gonna get right into it so you guys can,see kind of my train of thought and my,process of when I decorate my work,cubicle as I mentioned I basically I,want to say a hundred percent of my,decorations from Dollar Tree so that,video will be up previously and I've had,some decorations that I've had already,for two three years now so it's a mix of,new decoration to all decorations so,yeah I am so excited so let's get,started alright guys so here is my work,cubicle don't mind the Christmas lights,I am way too lazy so I don't take them,off I usually leave them on for the year,because it's just a pain and a hassle to,take off so as you guys can tell we have,a pretty big space to work with so this,is my half of my cube this is not my,half so I have this half right here to,work with as well as these two panels,right here so let's get started alright,guys so here we go here are all the,decorations that I've kind of,accumulated over the years so as I,mentioned a lot of these items are new,items a lot of these items are items,that I've had before,so my first Trina process is to take a,look put everything out see what I have,and then decide kind of what the theme,is what I want to go for I have an idea,but again it all comes together kind of,last minute so I just take a look at,what I have and as I mentioned all of,these items I have bought previously or,this year from Dollar Tree so they do a,really good job I mean you can get a,really great selection so I don't know,if you guys can tell but my decorations,are very heavy on skulls just because,that's what Dollar Tree has so let's,start,okay guys so we have the first kind of,outline of what we want so I want to do,kind of a graveyard scene here on this,side and then on the other side I wasn't,even expecting this but this fit,perfectly on this side so as I mentioned,I don't have the whole cube I just have,this half right here so I thought how,perfect so this is like a window um,stencil decor item but look how,perfectly that fits right there oh how,cool all right let's continue,alright guys are you guys ready time for,the big reveal Oh guys I am so in love,with how this came out so I showed you,guys kind of step by step what my,thought processes but now let me,verbally kind of explain what I was,thinking here so I know from the get-go,that I wanted this graveyard scene this,was going to take up the most kind of,area what I actually might do is I only,had one of these tombstones right here,but I think they have more a Dollar Tree,so what I might do is buy at least three,more so put one more on this side put,two more on this side to kind of fill it,out and so I put these chains here kind,of like guarding the graveyard with,these spiders I just thought how epic is,that I thought that was a great little,addition and then I just draped over,this black fabric just because as I,mentioned I do have my Christmas lights,underneath that and I didn't want them,showing too much so just to cover that,up and give it more of like a spooky,area of i'b and then I got these little,skulls that I did end up using I,honestly didn't know if I was gonna end,up using them but I did and I am happy,with how that came out so this is that,side in the graveyard side and then the,next side I actually did not think it,was gonna come out the way it did but,look how cool this is guys what I did,not think this was gonna come out as,cool as it did,honestly this helped me window decor,whatever you want to call it was just so,perfect it legit matched up like exactly,what I needed and so then I added the,skulls I added the two skeleton hands,and just oh guys how cool is that how,cool and then I added these two chains,as well and that's not all so I also,ended up adding these kind of caution,tapes that says enter if you dare and it,has these skulls I just thought why not,you know I did end up buying the caution,tape and that tape so just so you know,give it a little bit more something so,that's that how cool so I do have a few,items left,not too much I think I used up pretty,much all of my items and I really love,how this ended up coming out I was not,expecting it to look so good so kind of,my thought process is you know spooky,eerie graveyard and then this is kind of,a skeleton coming up in you know having,its way with you and just doing what it,wants and you and blood writing help me,that was kind of my thought process when,making this again it's super random guys,I don't really you know I don't plan,this like a year in advance or anything,ahead so yeah I don't spend like,hundreds of dollars on decorations but I,thought why not I thought it was cute me,and another colleague loved to decorate,our cube so I can't wait to see what she,has so yeah this is all from Dollar Tree,I want to say probably this what I have,up is probably less than ten bucks,because the skulls were a dollar the two,stenciled the two drawings were a dollar,the spider kind of chain things were a,dollar the black cloth was a dollar so,you know this is like less than ten,bucks right here easy simple nothing too,complicated nothing too ridiculous so,yeah that's what my cubicle looks like,for Halloween this year all right guys,so what'd you think,did you like it HALLOWEEN HOME OFFICE DECOR | DECORATING MY OFFICE FOR HALLOWEEN 2022

hey guys welcome back to the channel,today i'm finally decorating my little,office area this is kind of my little,reading nook and everything i'm actually,working on a video to,show you guys how i transformed this,from a dining room into a home office,space as you can see this one wall is,really torn up still and that is because,i've,sanded it and taken off the chair,railing and plastered it and sanded it,some more and i'm actually going to be,doing wallpaper on that wall so i,apologize yes it looks really jank right,now but,after i put wallpaper in here soon it's,going to look amazing,so anyways i got these two,gorgeous black bookshelves i believe i,got these from yes wayfair got them from,wayfair and i absolutely love them i,love the original decor i had on them,and i definitely love how they turned,out for,spooky season so,i had a pile of all of my halloween,decor that didn't really go into my,hocus pocus theme in the living room or,my nightmare before christmas theme in,the kitchen,and so i was just pulling from that,decor and my original idea is i kind of,wanted this to be what i was calling,catacomb chic very focused on like bones,and skeletons and skulls and all of that,fun stuff but it kind of slowly morphed,into what i've been calling like a,haunted apothecary vibe like,mad scientist but old and dingy dark,academia i feel like you guys know the,vibe that i'm talking about,and i definitely feel like there was,some stuff that i don't feel like fits,that vibe um so i want to you know see,where else i can put that stuff maybe,next year and kind of improve upon what,i did this year but i still love how,everything turned out i've got my three,little cauldrons up there on the top,that that's from home goods i believe i,got those last year and there's just,some little black plants in there,super cute um like for instance i would,love if those looks more like rusticy,for this you know specific,decor situation but,you know,we can't have everything i'm working,with what i got right now and then i've,got the two school stack stack thingies,on either side of that,and those are also from home goods but i,got those this year,i've got some old creepy books that i,decided to stack up and then i'm kind of,just trying to place things,around in different areas one of the,kind of philosophies for bookshelf,decorating that i've seen a lot is to do,things,on either side and then on the next,shelf things in the middle and then on,the next shelf things on either side,just to give it like some balance but,you can still make it sort of off kilter,and everything the other thing i'm,trying to do is still create levels,these each individual shelf on these,bookshelves are not super tall um,they're about a foot tall so i did have,like some candlesticks and stuff that i,wasn't really able to put stuff on um,but i still thought that it turned out,pretty nice but yeah i'm just trying to,create levels,and give it like that scattered,randomness that still looks very,properly decorated if that makes sense,um,and i kind of you know move things,around a lot until i get it how i like i,feel like i've talked about that in,previous videos where decorating is,really just kind of playing with it you,know,moving things around until you like what,you see,so i have some school,some cool skeleton keys oh my gosh i,can't talk that i was displaying there,um a lot of the stuff that i got from,home goods this year i've got little,skulls that have little um succulents in,them i've got a few of my harry potter,books on this display just because i,love the coloring of them like those,jewel tones is are so fun,i've got this little like cat,windmill,candle holder thing that my meemaw got,me so i'm trying to put that together,it's like very delicate and you have to,take it apart to put it back in the,packaging,so i was sticking that up there just,really like i said trying to figure out,where i wanted to put everything,so this is a little bit later as you can,see i have definitely moved some new,things around,and i'm really liking how it's starting,to come together i got some stuff from,spirit halloween that i switched out on,the bookshelves like the um skull you,see there and like the hands and like,the little raven looking head,um but one thing i wanted to do was i,wanted to kind of put tea lights all,throughout this so it really kind of,gave that like flickering,you know dimly lit,candlestick atmosphere,i love that globe but i don't like how,it looks lit up because it's like almost,too perfect i guess so i decided to not,keep that lit up so i just placed tea,lights all around kind of trying to hide,them and like i said giving that,flickering effect as much as possible,and then at last,oh wait i just realized this went back,in time,interesting i'm doing it i did a really,bad job of editing this video i'm sorry,you guys you know what i'm doing 61 days,of videos so some of the editing might,be a little bit jank,so anyways i wanted to take some black,creepy cloth and drape it on every,individual shelf because i just feel,like it really needed that added texture,to give off the vibe i was going for so,i basically cut out like custom little,sections,and i started by cutting out enough to,go over the entire top shelf and kind of,drape over the sides a little bit,and so i'm just kind of sticking that,under my decor and yes i do realize it,would have been way easier to start with,this but i didn't think of it till later,so,it is what it is,then i started cutting,um the creepy cloth,as,oh my gosh i started cutting it by like,the length of each individual,bookshelf,and then just like kind of taking off,the decor and sliding the creepy cloth,underneath,um to kind of like i said give it that,look,and it took me a while to get through,all of this like it definitely took me,like a solid almost hour to,cut all of this take everything down put,it on there put it back like it was,definitely a feat but i do think it was,so worth it because like i said i really,feel like it just added to the the,design of everything um,so much for sure creepy cloth is such a,good go-to like,if you need to cover a pretty surface,that doesn't match your halloween decor,you can trust creepy cloth if you want,to drape it from your ceilings or your,doorways creepy cloth like creepy cloth,really is the answer to everything um,during spooking season for sure,i was really trying to make these white,bottles work on this display,but i just felt like they were too like,perfect looking you can tell i'm like,rearranging them a couple times and it's,i think just because they just didn't,fit the look they really didn't like,they were too perfect they needed to go,somewhere else and don't get me wrong i,love them i bought them from joanne last,year,and i do think they're really really,cool and pretty,but i just don't feel like they matched,kind of like the color palette and,design i was going for,with this particular display so,i end up moving those where you,basically can't even see them,which is kind of silly but you know what,i mean the integrity of the design is,that it's actually fully decorated,there's not any parts i guess that are,hidden away and not fully decorated i,guess well those two left shelves on the,back,right there that are hidden by my chair,um,are definitely not 100 decorated so i,guess i can't say that the integrity of,my,halloween decor is totally,you know 100 percent,all right just needed to add a few more,shelves worth,of creepy cloth i ended up moving,that little,glass ball around and i ended up turning,the lights on which i end up turning,back off again later because i keep,trying to convince myself that i like it,when it's on but i just don't,and this is when i started pulling out,some of my spirit halloween decor,because i'd filmed my haul by then and,so i started to add this stuff in um as,well you can see it there on the corner,of the chair,and so i wanted to kind of spruce things,up a tad and add in the new decor that i,felt like really went with the overall,look i was going for,then i needed to get behind that chair,to add in my last couple of pieces of,creepy cloth i ended up putting some,stuff on that bottom shelf so it would,be out of the way and unseen a little,bit better and then i just added some,creepy cloth kind of just to the corner,of it um since you can kind of barely,see it,and i added this black school jar that i,have,then i just added creepy cloth to the,last last last two,shelves,i feel like i've been talking about,adding creepy cloth to these shelves for,an hour so i hope you guys haven't,clicked off because you're bored,i was trying to figure out a spot for,this little trinket box,box that looks like a set of books from,spirit halloween,and i couldn't quite find the right spot,for it i do eventually find out where i,want it to go but i kind of wanted them,to be vertical but they just can't,because they're um like it's like a,literally a trinket block that box that,entire red bruise book on the top comes,off and you can put things inside of it,which is cool but then you can't stain,them up you know vertically instead of,horizontally,so i ended up liking where i put it,though and i also like that it kind of,matches like the general,like color palette like feel of like,those kind of like gemstone colors um,of my harry potter books so i felt like,it just matched really well,and then i finally gave up on those,white jars as you can see and i added in,this really cool skull that has like the,top hollowed out so you can use it kind,of like as a bowl,um or maybe even a planter if you wanted,to from spirit halloween,and then those little skull hands or,skeleton hands are from joanne and they,were like super cheap but you want to,say like five bucks each which is,well now that i say that out loud it,sounds more expensive five dollars for a,skeleton hand,hmm i can't decide sometimes like if i,think something is overpriced or not,because,i don't know,i'm having an existential crisis over,the price of those hands,oh my gosh you guys this DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN DIYS 🎃 (easy affordable hacks try this 2022)

what's wrecking family so you guys asked,for halloween diys and that's what i'm,bringing to you today dollar tree is,getting it a bunch of halloween decor,right now and though it looks like fall,behind me it's actually 91 degrees,outside so let me know the weather near,you is it feeling like fall at all,anyways let's begin the video the next,time you're in dollar tree pick up one,of their mop heads they carry them on,their own or you can buy the one that,has a handle attached to it this part is,optional but hear me out it looks way,better if you untwist the fabric that's,twisted on the mop creating thinner,pieces you want your mop to be stiff so,use a max hold hairspray and spray one,side once it's dry flip the mop over and,spray the other side i used suave max,hold hairspray i then spray painted my,mop using a brown spray paint you can,use acrylic paint if you like it's just,more time consuming and i also like that,the spray paint helps stiffen the mop,even more once the spray paint has dried,i brought the mop inside and used a,light brown paint to create some,highlights we're trying to make the mop,look like a straw broom i've included,some rope on top of the mop to make it,look more aged now this is how you're,going to get your broom to move go to,five below and pick up a remote control,car for five dollars you'll need to use,something flat like a square block to,attach the mop and the card together,flip your mop over to reveal the plastic,piece that is underneath the mop and,then use a heavy duty glue like e6000 to,attach the wood block to the mop and to,the car i also use some hot glue because,it just dries more quickly and makes,things go a little bit faster you can,use the mop handle that comes with the,mop if you like but i decided to use a,wooden dowel that i got for around a,dollar and fifty cents from walmart just,because it's very lightweight i also,painted this doll a brown color and then,glued some rope to the top of it to give,it a more antique reason you have to,stiffen up the mop is so that the fabric,doesn't keep getting stuck underneath,the car wheels it just kind of floats,with the car this is an original idea,that i had to think real hard on how to,make it work it does work it cost me ten,dollars to make when it retails for,eighty dollars on amazon and make sure,you follow me on tick tock because i,plan on doing something similar using a,roomba,every year dollar tree gets in these,ghosts if you have a ceiling fan you can,do a cool hack with these what you're,going to do is you are just going to tie,them to the ceiling fan i'm using twine,to attach mines to the ceiling fans and,guess what,that's it you just tie them to the,ceiling fan then turn the ceiling fan on,it looks like there is ghost flying,around your house and don't worry the,ghosts are very lightweight so they,won't be bending any of the fans on your,ceiling fan this is an easy hack to do,and it looks really really cool if the,fabric is a little bit too long for you,you can always trim that down,the next time you're in dollar tree pick,up two cocoa plant liners you won't,believe what you can make with these,you're going to place them inside of,each other to basically make a pacman,head shape and when you have that shape,down you can then glue them to each,other hold the cocoa liners together,until the glue has completely dried and,then move on to gluing another section,when you're in dollar tree pick up a,broom handle you're going to trace the,broom handle on the bottom of your,coconut liner and create a hole using,some scissors you're then going to push,the handle through that hole now it's,time to paint your coconut liner i'm,using a lime green color on the coconut,liner i recommend using a paint sponge,to paint this it makes it so much easier,and do a stippling motion versus a,stroke the edge of the coconut liners,has what looks already like a lip so i,painted that area red i also used black,paint i mixed it with my green paint and,with my red paint to shade different,areas and then i used the black paint on,its own especially in the inside of the,mouth our mouth needs teeth i'm going to,be using craft foam i got from hobby,lobby but dollar tree also carries white,craft foam it's just hard to find,sometimes i glue them inside of the,mouth just using hot glue and i don't,like to keep them all white so i use,some shades of brown paint to just dirty,up the teeth a little bit now i got a,pool noodle from dollar tree i cut it,down to about three feet and i push my,broomstick through the pool noodle now,i'm going to be using a planter i got,from dollar general for ten dollars,we're flipping it over and we're using,our drill to create a big hole at the,bottom this way we can place our,broomstick through this hole you don't,want it to be too big otherwise the,broomstick is gonna fall right over i,placed some gravel and stones at the,bottom of this the stones were from,dollar tree and the gravel was from,walmart you just want this to be,weighted at the bottom so it's not easy,to tip over i ended up painting the pool,noodle i just used a darker green black,and brown paint once i have that done,it's time to attach some fake greenery,now this greenery i got at hobby lobby,you can use dollar tree greenery but you,end up spending more at dollar tree than,you do just going to a craft store and,getting it on sale and when i glued the,greenery to the coconut liner i held it,in place while i wait for the glue to,dry that's how i made these almost five,feet tall venus fly traps and i made,them for under 25 i only needed four,dollar tree products plus the greenery,from hobby lobby which was eight dollars,and then the planter which was ten,dollars,okay for this project you want to pick,up some gift boxes from dollar tree i,went with two of these cylinder shapes,and i'm removing the lid you're also,going to need some craft foam i,purchased this big pack from walmart you,get 50 sheets for a little over five,dollars i'm starting off with the bigger,cylinder and i'm taking the lime green,foam and cutting it out to go around the,cylinder i'll also be cutting a piece,that's going to go on the top once i,have those pieces cut i use some glue to,attach them to the cylinder boxes i used,foam glue on the bigger pieces that go,on the sides just because sometimes hot,glue can mess with the shape of foam so,i didn't want any weird lines going,through the pieces on the side i'm going,to be making three different tiers the,bottom one is supposed to be a little,frankenstein so i use my black foam to,create some hairs stitches the eyes and,the mouth now for the second tier i go,ahead and glue the box on top of my,frankenstein and this one i turned into,a ghost so i used white foam for this,and then black foam for the features i,decided i wanted to do one more smaller,tier i didn't use a box for this but,dollar tree does carry small boxes you,can use in the craft supply section if,you want instead i just took the foam,and created a cylinder shape with that,foam and this is supposed to be a tiny,little pumpkin you guys know i love to,make fake sweets on this channel and i,usually do these with spackle i decided,to do one that's done without spackle to,give you guys some options i'm gonna be,using pom poms from dollar tree as the,icing for this as well as some ribbon,and this ribbon i got at hobby lobby on,sale for a dollar and fifty cents you,just hot glue them wherever you see fit,and if you want to go with tobacco you,most definitely can finally i just,painted on a little bit more features,for instance some more whites on the eye,and then i wanted to give my ghost and,the pumpkin some cheeks so i use the,light pink pink to do that and that's,how you make a foam and pom pom cake,instead of doing the spackle and of,course you can always add spackle to,this to truly make it look like a cake,either way this is adorable and so easy,to do recently on my channel i shared,with you guys how to make a giant,gingerbread house out of dollar tree,foam board i knew when i did that we had,to make a haunted house so i picked up,some black foam board from dollar tree,and i recommend having a box cutter or,an x-acto knife on hand to cut through,your foam board i like using an l,bracket just to figure out where to cut,exactly and get a straight line now i'm,not going to give you guys the exact,dimensions for this because it's a,little bit hard for me to do but,basically figure out a haunted house,design that you want to make i make sure,both the front and the back of the,haunted house are the exact same thing i,also ended up cutting out some little,pieces that are going to go in the front,of the house so it pops out a little bit,more i'm going to put fairy lights,inside of my haunted house so i need,windows so that you can actually see the,fairy lights so i just go ahead and i,cut out windows i don't try to make,every window the exact same size as the,window i cut before i just try my best,with it now once you have all your walls,cut you can then start gluing them to a,base a foam board now you're going to,have a lot of scrapped leftover pieces,of foam board cut those pieces into,smaller pieces that you're gonna use to,help support your walls so as you glue,your walls down you layer some of those,little scrap pieces to just help keep,everything nice and upright i used five,pieces of foam board to do this and let,me tell you guys it really was so easy,to do,now the truly fun part decorating the,house i got these black webs from dollar,tree and i just placed them on top of,the haunted house like i said i want to,put fairy lights inside of my haunted,house i got these from amazon i'll link,them down below they're remote,controlled which makes it really nice,because you don't want to have to put,your hand inside of there every single,time to turn them on and i put three,fairy lights inside of each kind of,compartment of my haunted house,dollar tree carries bat clips and,spiders that are perfect for this so i,decided to clip and glue some of these,pieces onto the haunted house and after,i did all this i was like you know what,this this needs a little something else,so i decided to dry brush some white,paint so basically what that means is,you take a brush dip it inside of some,paint remove most of the paint from the,brush and then do light strokes over,your project and this is going to kind,of create a very distressed look that's,how i made a haunted house using five,pieces of foam board from dollar tree i,love this thing so much it is so cool,and i feel like you can take advantage,of the inside of the haunted house and,maybe put some ghost or something inside,of there i truly love this diy and if,you recreate it make sure you tag me,because i would love to see it,every year i love to make potion bottles,on my channel i don't like to just put,labels on the front i like to make them,unique so i'm going to share with you,everything i stuck in my bottles for the,first bottle i got these bones from,dollar tree and i place the bones inside,of the bottle all of the bottles i'm,using are from dollar tree the second,bottle i'm going to be using the small,little skull heads that i got at,michael's i paid around four dollars for,them halloween and michaels is already,on sale for 40,off i then cut down some of these,broomsticks that i got from dollar tree,i had to cut them down to fit the inside,of this glass i got foam bones from,dollar tree so i put those in another,glass i decided to dirty up some water,with some acrylic paint and pour that,into the first glass that has the bones,so it would look a little bit different,from the one that has the foam bones in,another glass i'm going to be placing,some of these spiders that i also got,from dollar tree if you don't want to,buy a bunch of individual things for the,glasses i recommend getting food,coloring this way you're able to use,water and food coloring to get some,really spooky potion bottles finally the,last bottle i have to share with you,guys which is my favorite i got one of,those bigger ghosts that you saw me use,earlier and i cut some pieces down that,i filled up with some cotton at the top,and tied i'm making little ghosts out of,these and then i just painted little,faces on them i'm going to be putting,these inside of the bottle i did glue,the bigger ghost to the lid of the,bottle so that way they kind of float up,a little bit better i made some labels,i'll link down below for you guys that i,printed out on some sticker paper and,then i cut out just using my scissors so,here are the labels and what goes with,each bottle the skulls has a label that,says pickled skulls then the brooms have,a witch's broom label the ghosts have a,bottle of booze label the foam bones,have a label that says bone powder it's,not,powdery by any means but hey the,spider's label is spider venom then the,potion bottles that i made with the food,coloring the red one i did arsenic,poisoning then the green one is snake,venom finally our last label is dragon,bones and that's how you make these,really cool unique potion bottles don't,get me wrong i still like the bottles,where they just have a label on the,front and the bottle is like a solid,color however i prefer these these are,so much more interesting to look at and,they can be kind of funny if you can,find a cool play on words like the,bottle of booze one i love love love,making potion bottles on this channel,but like i said i like to do them in a,unique way,last year we used the dollar tree doll,houses to make haunted houses we're,gonna do something similar but different,i'll be using two of the pink doll,houses from dollar tree i'm removing the,windows frames doors,roof everything from it i'm just gonna,have the base of the house i painted one,house all yellow and then the other,house all orange i had to do a few,layers of paint to get an opaque look so,i did one layer of paint wait for it to,dry and then move on to the next layer,you don't want to keep adding layers,when the paint is still wet otherwise,you're not going to achieve the look,that you want dollar tree carries white,houses as well and i'm going to be using,this for the top of what i'm making i,removed again all the window frames the,door frame the roof and i'm just keeping,that all white but i did paint the roof,of this house black then the doors i,took out of the houses i painted yellow,orange and white,i'm going to be stacking the houses on,top of each other to do this i have to,remove the plastic corners that are on,the bottom of the houses that are going,to be stacked on top of each other if,you don't remove those pieces you won't,be able to glue them down flat to each,other so i removed those pieces and then,i glued the houses down and basically,i'm making a candy corn house you can,then put back in your windows and the,frames i only put back in the windows,that were white and i actually used some,of the windows from the,bottom houses,for the top of the roof then glued the,houses to a piece of foam board because,i'm going to be using spackle you put,speckle inside of a piping bag with an,icing tip and then you just treat it as,if it were icing that you're icing on,top of a gingerbread house dollar tree,does carry spackle but my favorite,spackle is dap spackle that you find at,home depot it's just creamy you don't,have to mix it with water you get more,bang for your buck i like it a lot more,so i just did like some different,designs on top of this i embellished,this with some fake candy corns and i'll,link the seller i used down below for,you guys i got it from etsy,then i used some puff paint from dollar,tree to create more detailed designs,that i really cannot do with the spackle,to make it look more like a gingerbread,house little designs that look like,lights and wreaths,and snow,it's just easier to use the puff paint,for these designs than spackle like i,said because spackle it's like,no you would have a very hard time doing,this with spackle so we are making a,gingerbread haunted house type of,situation even though this is candy corn,so it's a little bit sweeter it's so,cute and easy to do you guys and it's,really fun because you can go like any,design it doesn't have to be just candy,corn i absolutely love the way that this,turned out i want to make some little,fake cookies to go along with this,right now at dollar tree you can find,halloween christmas trees i'll be using,nine for this project i remove the,bottom off of all the trees except one,and then push all the branches of the,trees to one side i'm going to share,with you how you can make one bigger,substantial fuller tree using multiple,trees dollar tree christmas trees are,very sparse they look kind of sad on,their own so you want to get at least,two to make a fuller tree i recommend,three but you want at least two what,you'll do is you'll use zip ties to,attach a group of trees together whether,that's two three four more than four it,just starts to look like funny so what,you're gonna do is just use those zip,ties and tie all your trees together so,i'm gonna do three rows of trees and in,each row there's gonna be three attached,to,each other so i have the top of my,christmas tree which is three trees and,then when i attach the middle of the,christmas tree i attach the top of these,trees that i'm adding to the bottom of,the trees that are already there and,that's how i attach all the trees,together all the trees are attached you,can cut the zip ties off and then place,the stands on the one piece that you,still left the plastic on,i'll share with you guys how i decorated,mine dollar tree carries miniature,ornaments that are great for these mini,trees i picked up three packs and i,mainly focused on the front of my tree i,do this with my christmas tree too i,don't put ornaments all the time all,around the tree i just make sure that if,i don't put it on the back i don't make,the front too weighted otherwise it'll,fall over on you i also added some of,these ornaments these i ended up getting,at home goods i got them last year they,were 9.99,so i placed some of those on my tree,right now dollar tree has candy corn,picks so i remove the candy corn off of,the pigs and then i glue them to the,christmas tree i purchased this ghost,pick from michael's for a little over,two dollars this is going to be my tree,topper and then i used one of the webs,from dollar tree as the skirt for my,tree that's how you make a bigger tree,using these small trees from dollar tree,this tree is about three feet tall and,it cost me 11.25,to make which is a steal of course the,price of the ornaments that's different,but the tree base itself was 11.25,right now dollar tree has foam skulls in,and what's nice about these is they are,easier to work with than the plastic,ones they get in so what i'm doing is,i'm taking this little like skewer it's,honestly a kitchen thing i'm making a,hole through my skulls and then feeding,a broomstick through the skulls i'll be,using five total i figure out how i want,these skeletons to look when they're,stacked on top of each other and i make,the holes according to that and i really,recommend using something,to create those holes instead of just,the broomstick because it's really hard,to create a hole with just a broomstick,once i have all the skulls on top of the,broomstick i went outside and i spray,painted them with a cream color i,decided to spray paint them again as i,said earlier it's just it's faster to do,for me but you can always use an acrylic,paint i then went in with acrylic paint,to add the details so the shading the,highlighting that i need the cracks that,i need i kind of just played it by ear i,started with black and i put those,inside of the areas i wanted to be the,darkest so the eyes and the nose i then,went in with like brown tones and tried,to make the skulls look a little bit,more dirty,and then i did like a grayish color,around the teeth just figure out what,works for you,i purchased this planter at dollar tree,i'm gonna be gluing some foam pieces,also from dollar tree to the bottom of,the planter and once i have those foam,pieces in i push my broomstick through,the foam so now it's standing upright i,placed the kitchen towel at the bottom,of this to dummy it up so that i could,put some stones from dollar tree inside,of here but not have to use as many,stones you need something down there,though that's weighted otherwise this is,going to fall over on you because it's,so lightweight to really spook this up i,put some webs from dollar tree on the,bottom of this and that's it that's how,i made this i don't really know what you,want to call this like tower of skulls i,i don't know but it's really spooky,looking,really wanted to do another diy using,the foam skulls from dollar tree so for,this project we're gonna need two of the,paper towel holders from dollar tree you,are going to push two heads through a,paper towel holder and then once you,have those two heads through there you,take another paper towel holder and put,it through the top of the skull now i,purchased two of these wood rounds from,dollar tree i'm going to be gluing my,paper towel holders to these wood rounds,using hot glue i recommend using,something else than hot glue i'm just,using hot glue because it dries quickly,and i'm filming i'm trying to do things,fast if you use hot glue like i did,though do not put anything heavy on top,of this and make sure you put more hot,glue on the bottom paper towel holder,that's touching that bottom wood piece,don't worry about it it gets covered up,or you can use something to cover it up,i then went ahead and i spray painted,this entire thing black i then went in,with some gold acrylic paint to,highlight areas of the skull that's how,you make this really cool skull stand i,wouldn't put anything too heavy on the,top of this especially if you use hot,glue i absolutely love the way that this,one turned out,this is a simple project you can get,these traffic cones in the toy section,of dollar tree and just paint them to,look like candy corn make sure you're,using a paint that is meant for outside,use so in this case you're just going to,use white and yellow paint and you're,going to have to do a few layers of this,because it's plastic if you use an,acrylic paint it doesn't really go on,plastic the nicest the first time around,so you have to do a few layers to get,that opaque look what you see right here,is my second layer of paint and you can,see it starts looking way more opaque,with the second layer of paint you can,use this outside to make some really,cute decor i think it's super unique,because i never really see people,decorate with candy corn outside the,other thing you can do is get styrofoam,from dollar tree the ones that look like,cones and paint that instead which i,prefer this way just because i don't,have to do a bunch of layers of paint i,just do one the way you get these to,stand outside without falling over with,any type of wind is by using bamboo,skewers from dollar tree i break them in,half i stick them in the ground and then,put the cone over the skewer and i go,straight down with the cone so that the,skewer doesn't poke out of the sides and,that's it these are so cute i want to,make more and have them all over for,halloween,for our next project you're going to,need some wood beads dollar tree carries,them they're unfinished you can paint,them black if you want or,you can buy them already colored and i,have this black garland i bought at,walmart last year when it was on,clearance i probably paid like a dollar,for all of this so i'm going to use that,instead,now i'm going to also be using some fake,apples you can get these at hobby lobby,for inexpensive price i think i paid,three dollars for a big bag of them,we're going to be making poison apple,garland so i'm going to be using these,yarn needles and i'm going to tie some,string through one of the yarn needles i,then i'm going to start putting some,beads on top of that and as i put beads,i'm also going to be putting some of the,foam,apples now i want to do this beforehand,because once i have glue on top of this,which is what we're going to be using,i'm going to have a hard time getting,the needle through the glue so i need,this big needle to get through the foam,of the apple and i use pliers to pull it,out so i push the needle through the,apple and then use pliers to pull it out,i used a mixture of red and green apples,now to get the poison apple face and the,look of it i'm going to be using hot,glue now when you're doing this you,don't want to hold the apple for long,just hold it to get the initial face,down and then once you start to pour the,rest of the hot glue stop holding the,apple unless you want to burn your,fingerprints off unless you have those,glue gun finger protectors you can use,those but if you don't have those,don't hold it long because you will burn,your fingers make sure wherever you're,pouring the hot glue on the apple you,don't mind hot glue getting on that,surface so in this case i had these,little coasters that i was using if the,hot glue got on there it's really easy,to take off i like to use hot glue for,this because i like the 3d look it gives,it it makes it look more like it was,dipped into something you can always,just use paint instead and not do it,this way but i really do like the way,that the hot glue makes this look wait,for the hot glue to completely dry,before you start to paint over it i used,a lime green paint and a red paint the,red apples i painted with the lime green,and the green apples i painted with the,red color you are going to have to do a,few layers of paint and wait for each,layer to dry before putting on your next,layer the reason you're gonna have to do,a few layers of paint is to get the,opaque look unless you don't really mind,a bit of the hot glue still showing,underneath your paint now to hang this,on top of my fireplace i'm just tying,the ends of my garland to some command,strips and then i place that on my,fireplace now this garland is heavy,because of the apples so to get the,apples to stay where i want them to stay,put i'm using some glue dots that i got,from dollar tree i just place them on,the back of each apple and then place,the apple exactly how i want it to be i,made this garland a little bit too long,for my fireplace so please try to excuse,that this garland is so darn cute i have,never seen something like this before,i've seen the poison apples that you can,buy but i've never seen a garland of it,it's so cute to do and last year i made,the poison apples but i made them bigger,and it's the exact same thing as before,it's just easier to make the faces on,the bigger apples you use your hot glue,gun to create the face and the little,dip look to it and then once the glue,dries you can paint it i did shade,around the eyes and the nose with some,black paint on these apples to really,give it some dimension,i shared this project last year not,everyone has seen it so i want to,reshare it because it's really good you,can get some blank t-shirts at dollar,tree if you can find 100 cotton t-shirts,i recommend getting those you're also,going to pick up some of their diy wood,blanks then get an empty spray bottle,and bleach you're going to fill the,spray bottle up with bleach if you have,a piece of cardboard lying around put,that in between your t-shirts what we're,going to do is we are going to place our,wood blanks on top of the t-shirts and,spray the bleach on top of that what,happens is the design that's on the wood,blank transfers onto your t-shirts the,bleach just goes around it but still,leaves the design it's really really,cool,after they're done you can go ahead and,wash these inside of the washing machine,and that's it so easy to do and super,cool next up we're going to be making,the hocus pocus book from dollar tree,you want to pick up a blank book as well,as their faux leather that you're going,to find near all of the cricket items so,it's a long roll what you'll do is,you'll cut that piece down to wrap,around the inside of the book as well as,the outside once you have that cut down,just glue it into place with your hot,glue gun now we'll be using some fake,eyeballs from dollar tree you're going,to want to go ahead and cut those in,half all you have to do is find the hole,that's in the ball and then put your,scissor through it and that way you'll,be able to cut it in half once you have,it cut in half take the part that has,the iris and glue that onto your book,now this is the most time consuming part,of this diy but it is so easy to do you,just take your hot glue gun and you use,it to create the designs that are on the,book you want to do layers of this so in,the corners of the book there's these,little snake designs so you want to,start off with a layer there and that's,going to be the very base of the design,and once that dries start adding the,snake design over it so it starts to,give it that 3d effect another example,are the stitches and the wounds i,started off making the wounds and then i,waited for that to dry and then i went,over that with the glue again to create,the stitches and that's how i created,the 3d effect after you have all your,designs down it's time to paint,everything i recommend going over every,design except for the eyelid area with,black paint this gives it a really good,base and it gives the paint that you,apply afterwards something to attach to,after i have every area that i want,painted black i then go in with my,colors the only colors i used on the,book itself not the eye were silver,black,white and brown paint if you're into,highlighting and shading like i am all,you have to do is dip your finger inside,of the paint and rub it over the leather,it's really easy to blend it that way,versus using a paint brush and that's,how i shade it and i highlighted the,book the only other thing that was left,for me to do was to paint the eyeball,the eyeball of the hocus pocus book is,not yellow i went with blue i just used,some blue paint to paint over the iris,and then black paint to paint over the,pupil a little more i love the way that,this book came out if you cannot find,the leather from dollar tree i will link,my other tutorial down below for you,guys that one i use toilet paper and,anybody can find toilet paper i mean i,guess if it was 20 20 you might not have,been able to find toilet paper but now,you can moving right along from dollar,tree you're going to want to pick up,some of their hanging coffin signs and i,recommend at least using three but if,you want to use more,honestly the more the better and you're,also going to be using these chalkboard,signs again from dollar tree now i had,my husband cut down these signs to make,pieces that are going to go around the,coffin,again you do not need to use a saw or,anything like that you can use scissors,now go ahead and glue your coffins on,top of each other and the reason you,need a few of these is so that the,chalkboard has something to attach to so,once i have all of my coffins glued on,top of each other i can now attach the,chalkboard to the sides of the coffin,i used hot glue to do this but i really,recommend using a more heavy duty glue i,just use the hot glue because it dries,quickly and it i don't have to like wait,forever to finish,filming a video this part is completely,optional you can keep the imagery as is,but i decided to paint over that imagery,using some black paints,and i also painted over the edges of the,chalkboard now it's time to decorate the,inside of the coffin i got these skulls,from dollar tree and i'm going to be,gluing one on top of the other and i,just use hot glue to do this now as you,do this you're going to notice that,these skulls are kind of tipping over,because they're very lightweight they,don't have a base under them when you,stick them inside of the coffin the,walls of the coffin are gonna keep them,upright then i added some fairy lights,now i have to credit somebody for this,diy my husband if you guys like this diy,say thanks to matt in the comments,because he's the one who came up with,this he actually made a different coffin,using the wall shelves from dollar tree,we didn't have enough for me to do that,on camera so that's why i ended up using,the chalkboard signs i'm gonna show you,guys how i decorated his coffin i got,this little skeleton from dollar tree i,went ahead and glued him inside i added,some web and spiders from dollar tree,and then that's just how i decorated,matt's coffin so again thanks to matt,these are super DIY Halloween Desk Decor! - HGTV Handmade

hi everybody Karen here welcome back to,our spooky halloween month here on HGTV,handmade remember kids Halloween is not,a holiday it's a lifestyle so today I,have five small Halloween projects for,you which would be perfect to keep on,your desk to bring a little bit of,Halloween flair to your calculus,homework or to your studying of this old,advertising book because this is the,type of thing I own these are perfect if,you don't want to decorate your entire,house but you still want to bring just a,little bit of Halloween into your life,so your first project actually brings us,back into the kitchen because it's a,really fun way to creep out your,co-workers with what you're drinking we,are making ice cubes with some spiders,and skulls in them to give your drinks a,little bit of Halloween flavor so I,started by looking online because I,wanted to find out how to make perfectly,clear ice cubes so that we can see all,the little toys that we're putting,inside it turns out the trick is to use,filtered water until you bring it to a,boil and then you let it cool down and,then you bring it to a boil again and,then you use that water to carefully,fill up your ice cube trays now when it,comes to the toys that we're putting,inside them I found these cheap kids,party favors at the craft supply store,I'm just going to cut off the ring so,that we're left with just plain spiders,and bats and skulls and of course you,should wash these before you put them,into anything you will actually be,drinking so once your ice cube trays are,filled up just drop one of your toys,into each one and if you need to you can,use the back of a spoon to kind of nudge,them around and place them where you,want and then just put them in the,freezer overnight and the next day,you'll have these really spooky,Halloween ice cubes so I just put mine,in some glasses and then i filled it,with water and then a squirt of red,flavor enhancer which makes them look,like,well very watery blood confession the,small ice cubes actually melted awhile I,was getting all of these shots but I,still think it looks really creepy just,having the skulls kind of floating,around by themselves in there hmm spider,water,he's like fruit punch oh and this is,probably completely obvious but just so,it said don't give these to children,because small toys floating in a drink,is pretty much the definition of a,choking hazard all right moving on the,classic Halloween DIY for your desk is,decorating a small pumpkin this year I'm,going to make mine super classy with,some gold studs I got this big pumpkin,at the craft store and it's a little,cheesy looking so I painted it white and,I painted the stem gold and then once,that was dry I just pressed my studs,into the pumpkin making a cute pattern,this was so easy it literally took less,than 10 minutes and since it's a fake,pumpkin and you can use it year after,year to go with it I also took these,adorable tiny little pumpkins and I,painted them with my favorite craft,supply liquid gilding paint I know I use,the stuff in like every single video but,I just cannot get over how amazing it,makes everything look after just a one,coat of paint so once that was dry I,also had three and miniature gold,pumpkins that look way more expensive,than they actually are next we have,something that's actually kind of useful,for studying and it is a black and gold,quilt n-nothing will get you in the mood,more than writing with a giant feather,you might also feel a little bit like a,pirate but it goes with our decor so,stick with me so to make these you'll,need some large black feathers and some,liquid gilding paint it's literally as,simple as just using a paintbrush to,paint on whatever,fine you like I did one where I just,paint at the top to get kind of a gold,dipped look and then I did one where I,painted the entire thing and I got this,gorgeous texture and then one where I,painted a little bit lighter and so more,of the black feathers showed through so,once you're done painting you can use,these as they are just as decorations or,you can grab a pen take it apart so that,you just have the ink cartridge and this,is actually going to fit right into the,stem of the feather but it's a little,long so just cut it down to size and,then stick it back into the feather and,you don't need glue or anything it just,slides right in there and now you've got,some beautiful feather quills that you,can use to do your homework or just to,decorate your desk but of course we need,somewhere to display our quills so I,took a miniature champagne bottle and I,spray-painted it with oil rubbed bronze,spray paint and then I took a gold chain,and I glued the end in place and then,just started wrapping it all the way,around the bottom of the bottle once I,got to the bottom I just glued down the,other end and then because I am a,perfectionist I gave the chain a light,coat with our gilding paint so that the,gold of the chain that would match the,gold of everything else that we've been,working on I finish it off with a gold,leaf sticker and a miniature chalkboard,that I just got at the craft store and I,write a festive little boo on there and,now we've got a really cute Halloween,holder for our feather quills or you,could use it as a candle holder or you,could wrap the bottom with twine instead,of chain there are so many possibilities,and now for our final project I think,it's time to bring a little bit of emoji,flavor onto our desk you'll need a piece,of cardstock and a pack of white post-it,notes put your post-its on the cardstock,and draw a ghost shape around them I,based mine off the emoji but you could,draw any ghost shape that you like cut,that out,when you flip it over you can start,shading it with a gray marker use a,black marker to draw an outline all the,way around the border and also to draw,on the two mismatched eyes then just use,double-sided tape to stick down your,post-it notes and if you want to you can,draw the mouth and the tongue onto the,top post-it note now you've got a really,fun post-it note display to keep on your,desk and whenever you need a posted you,can always just take off the top one,take the next post-it and then replace,the one with the melts drawn on it or,you could draw a whole bunch of,different expressions every time you,take a new post it if you were,procrastinating or if you are really,bored and also a quick bonus life pro,tip if you want a really really easy way,to dress up your desk just replace your,scotch tape with some fun Heather into,washi tape so I hope you guys liked,those fun Halloween desk decor projects,I know that not everyone has the time,and the resources to decorate their,entire house so just doing your desk is,a fun way to bring a little DECORATING MY DESK FOR HALLOWEEN!! (DESK MAKEOVER DIY!!)| Spooktober #2

hey everyone and welcome back to my,channel so today,i'm going to be decorating my desk for,halloween,halloween is one of my favorite holidays,and i like,the color schemes of the orange and,green and purple,so on my desk i have a couple things,that,i plan to decorate with so the first,thing is,this dark green lace that i had in my,craft box,and i plan to use this as like the,wrapping around the sides of my desk,and over here are these spider rings,from um last year's christmas,not christmas halloween party,and this um pumpkin light that was from,last halloween and,it has a light inside of it if you can,see it but,you can't really see it during the day,and the last thing is this pumpkin,banner that i made,and if you guys want a video about how i,made it i can make it if you want to,so first i plan on wrapping the lace,around,the um silver poles on my desk and then,maybe putting,the spiders on top so i'm going to start,with the left side of my desk,do,so this is how it looks after i did both,sides and i really like it but i think,i'm going to add,one more green spider at the bottom,i use tape to keep the lace intact,and so it being less noticeable since,it's clear tape,so now after i put on the green spiders,i'm going to,put the purple string at the top before,the banner to give it like an orange and,purple um color combination which i,believe is,one of the most halloweenish colors to,me,so this is the purple string and i cut,it in half,because it was a little too long at,first and it has like,frillies kind of on the sides so,i'm just going to put this on top of my,desk,okay so now that i put the purple string,on top,i'm going to put the pumpkin banner,up,so this is how it looks so far with the,lace,around the sides of my desk and the,spiders,and the pumpkin banner and there's some,things that i need to fix,i'm going to cut the purple string a,little more so now i'm going to give you,a quick,overview before i add the pumpkin light,to my desk,so here's the pumpkin light and i'll,probably put it,right next to the bunny that's on my,lamp,if i can keep it balanced and i like,this pumpkin light because,it just screams halloween and i think,it's a nice addition especially,when i turn my lights off or it's,nighttime i can just light it up,so that's the end of my video and i hope,you guys enjoyed,today's video and don't forget to like,and subscribe and tell me,what's your favorite thing to do on,halloween is,okay have a great day everyone bye,you
