5 Halloween Drawing/Art Ideas: More Ways to Fill Your Sketchbook

hi everyone and welcome back in today's,video I'm going to be sharing some,Halloween inspired drawing ideas I'm,going to be working in a couple of my,sketchbooks and so you can use these,ideas in your own sketchbooks and I hope,this video will be helpful to those of,you wanting a little spooky inspiration,this video is also a collaboration with,visual mind she has a really lovely art,channel and does sketchbook videos art,journal and watercolor tutorials we've,both come up with 5 Halloween drawing,ideas so once you've finished here you,can go over to her channel and have 10,ideas in total for your sketchbooks,anyway now that's it let's get started,the first page is a combination of a,watercolor background and a black card,cutout to start with I'm using my,mixed-media sketch book all the supplies,that I'm using in today's video will be,listed in the description box below if,you want to look up the brand of,anything that I'm using I began by,masking off a rectangle in the middle of,my page with masking tape then I laid,down a layer of water and dropped in,different autumnal colors I decided to,go for warm tones of yellows Browns,oranges and a little bit of red you can,choose any color scheme you like I find,that sticking to three colors tends to,help avoid making mud when you're doing,this technique so I just stick to,yellows and Browns and oranges and,sticking to warm colors I find tends to,help or just sticking to to cool colors,you can choose as I said any color,scheme that you like I just dropped my,colors onto the wet paper and then I let,the first layer dry and then I applied a,second layer you can keep applying paint,in layers until you have the depth of,color that you want water color tends to,dry lighter so I had to create three,layers of this wet interwork technique,until I had the depth of color that I,wanted I was going through a washy,background with lots of texture and,colors mixing together this gives the,background lots of interest and it,contrasts with the simplicity of the,cutout so once the watercolor was,finished I took a sheet of black card,and drew a very very simple cat-like,silhouette on one side of the card with,a white pencil you can do any silhouette,that you like,pumpkin would work well I think a ghost,in a tombstone would look really cool a,spider,this technique would also be nice I,think if you were making Halloween party,invitations you could make a few of,these designs up and use them on cards,with a simple watercolor background and,a cutout then once I'd drawn my cat I,cut the cat out and one thing to,remember when you're drawing your design,is that the design will be reversed when,you flip the paper over I carefully cut,the cutout and then I glued it onto my,page I added a few whiskers with a white,paint pen and doodled a few circles in,the background but that was about it for,this page this is a very easy page to,make and it could also be adapted for,cards and other crafty projects so for,this next page I'm going to start by,sketching some spider webs I wanted for,spider webs one at each corner of the,page I begun by drawing five or six,radiating lines out from that corner,point and then drew half circles,connecting those lines to create the,webs and then I hung a few little three,little spiders down from the top two,webs it's very simple little spiders,just a round ball and a few legs spiders,can be either very simple or very,complicated and I went for very simple,little balls with legs for this design,once the frame was complete you can go,ahead and write in your favorite,Halloween or spooky quote it could be,something from Eleniak a pole it could,be a quote from a film like hocus pocus,it could be anything that brings up,Halloween for you I used a brush pen to,ink all the lines and then I also used a,grey Copic marker to add a little drop,shadow around the webs and the letters,you can easily customize this page of,your own words and it's fun to doodle,the web stand the spiders next I worked,on a Halloween witches recipe page and I,love this page because you can create,your own recipe and think about all the,ingredients or which would stir into her,cauldron I started out by drawing the,cauldron a circle I drew a circle then I,flattened out the top of the circle then,I added some legs and some handles and,then some bubbling brew inside of it and,then I added seven ingredients around,the page sort of scattered randomly,around the page I added some eye of Newt,then chicken feathers bat wings black,roses forest mushrooms pond water in a,bowl,and then a little candy corn for,sweetness I lined everything the black,fineliner and then used a few Copic,markers to color everything in I also,added a banner to the bottom of the page,and at under title and then wrote down,what ingredient was around it you can,choose whether or not to add the text I,like to add the text as it makes the,page look a bit more like a recipe card,and if someone else looked at the page,they could quickly see what everything,was because I felt like some of the,ingredients were not that,self-explanatory so having the text,there is just helpful I find and you,could always go ahead and add cooking,instructions as well if you wanted so,what would be in your witch's brew I,think that this potion that I drew turns,frogs into flying frogs with actual,wings and that's why there are chicken,feathers and bat wings in the potion and,the witch needs flying frogs because,well she runs an instant messaging,service for all the other witches who,live in this witch community and the,business is doing so well that she's,kind of run out of bats and other flying,animals so she has to make flying,animals with a potion to keep up with,customer demands so that's why she's,turning all these frogs into flying,frogs so she can expand her instant,messaging business okay anyway that,story aside this is just a fun witches,brew recipe page and you can customize,it however you want,so now I'm going to be working on some,little pumpkins and I made a video last,year a full autumn drawing ideas video,and I drew a page of goofy pumpkins and,this year I also wanted to do something,again with pumpkins because they're so,fun to draw and I wanted to put a little,bit more of a Halloween spin on it so I,started out with simple circles then I,drew some lines inside the circles and,added a stalk,they're very simple to draw these,pumpkins then I outlined the pumpkins,with a brown fine liner a waterproof,eyeliner I wanted the lines to be hardly,visible when the pumpkins were finished,if you wanted bolder lines you could,outline with the black pen if you wanted,I then I added some color using,watercolors and use different shades of,oranges in the,and I also mixed in a little gold,shimmer paint as well to give them a,little bit of an extra Sparkle I added a,few green leaves with a paintbrush and,some more little stalks as well and then,once everything was dry I could decorate,the pumpkins and I used a brush pen to,draw on the different carvings I think,if you wanted to test out different,faces before carving a real pumpkin you,could experiment with a page like this,and it's also just fun to draw out,different cut out faces on these little,pumpkins and in the end I also added the,words focus pocus to the bottom of the,page just because I had a little extra,space and I like to be affected so for,my final page I drew my witch sona and a,witch sona is basically a self portrait,of yourself as a witch so I started out,sketching a rough face and then I gave,her a witch's hat and I slipped an iris,flower into the headband of the Hat,because I think that my magical item if,I was a witch would be an iris flower,and I also gave her a Copic marker,earring because well why not I like,using the markers so I came to a Copic,marker earring and then I lines the,portrait and then added some color using,Copic markers keeping a warm earthy,color palette I liked the combination of,the orange with the olive green and then,behind her in order to complete the page,and to send to her a little bit,otherwise she's just sort of floating on,this white page I added a simple block,of color,now you can doodle your self-portrait,and give yourself any magical,accessories you think you'd have like a,wand some jewelry or a pets of some sort,like a cat or a bat you could draw,yourself in a hat or not wear a hat you,can sort of just really play around with,what you would have if you were a witch,and still design your own little,character and once you're done with this,drawing you could use your little,character as your pooch your avatar on,your Instagram or your social media,accounts so it's quite fun to change up,your avatar the different seasons and,for the autumn Halloween season you,could draw your witch sona and use it on,your social media and if you'd like some,more instructions on drawing faces if,you're not comfortable drawing portraits,self-portraits and drawing faces and,eyes and hair I do have some other,tutorials on those subjects and I'll,link them in the I cards if you'd like,to watch drawings I'm just using what I,have around on my art desk but you can,exchange you could just use colored,pencils you could just use paint these,are just some ideas to get some,creativity flowing if 50+ Halloween Doodle Ideas! SPOOKY DOODLE WITH ME | #MadeWithRush

everyone its man don't welcome back to,my channel today we are getting a little,spooky just in time for Halloween,I wanted to wear a costume for this,video but fortunately it didn't have,time so you're just gonna have to deal,with this but anyways I've done a bunch,of these videos in the past where I do a,lot of different doodle ideas I have I,think three by now there is a Christmas,one and then a couple of just regular,doodle ideas videos so if you haven't,seen those I'm gonna link the playlist,down below but today we have doing all,things Halloween and I'm really excited,about it because Halloween is one of my,favorite holidays of the year before we,get into it I'd like to quickly thank,Adobe for sponsoring this video I,actually partnered with them for their,new video editing software called Adobe,rush which I actually used to make this,video so I'm gonna talk a little bit,more about them later in the video but,without further ado we have quite a lot,of doodles to get through so let's get,spooky,alright so the doodles we're gonna start,off with are the magic and Wizardry,doodles you guys know that this was my,bullet journal theme for October so I,just kind of recreated some of the ones,that were on my cover page we have a,broom witch's hat a wand some potions a,lot of different things oh yeah and a,crystal ball which actually is one of my,favorites I didn't really tailor these,towards like Harry Potter it's just kind,of magic and Wizardry in general I might,do a Harry Potter specific one in the,future because I know that the new movie,is coming out but we will see anyways,I forgot to mention that the pen that,I'm using is the tombow food a nosegay,brush pen you guys know that this has,been my recent favorite for doodling I,use the hard tip and that way the ends,don't really fray because it is a,plastic nib number eight was a moon and,number nine is a melted candle which I,think looks a little spooky number 10 we,have a,a mystical looking key which I thought,was pretty cute as well and then for,number 11 we have a little crystal oh I,added all the little sparkles around it,because I feel like that adds the magic,touch number 12 is a rarities called an,hourglass that's what it's called and,then of course I had thrown a little,hint towards Harry Potter in there with,the glasses and the lightning bolt I,also did this spell book and I think oh,I thought I was wrapping up the magic,section but there was this little black,feather which reminds me of like a,Crow's feather number 16 is the final,one out of the magic section which is,this old-time parchment roll that looks,kind of like it was ripped out of an old,spell book or something number 17 of,course we have to do the pumpkins so I,drew a bunch of different options here,we have just a regular pumpkin one,that's carved out into a jack-o'-lantern,which is basically the same thing except,with a face on it,we have these various ghost faces 20 is,a skull number 21 our bones to go along,with the skull and then number 22 is a,spider and to go along with the spider I,did a bunch of different variations on,spider webs oh this is the candy section,so we have candy corn lollipops wrapped,candy chocolate bars anything to do with,trick-or-treating oh and a caramel apple,of course and the number 26 we have a,cauldron too that probably has some,weird potion mixing up in it oh yeah,here is the other option of the,spiderweb doing it in the corner is,pretty fun as well number 28 and 29 are,tombstones and coffins which are,actually pretty easy to make but they,definitely add to the spooky vibe and,then to go along with the coffin just,because I feel like there's a vampire in,there or something we have a silhouette,of a bat these are also pretty easy to,make because you just color it in,I also did a silhouette of a cat which,was probably one of the more difficult,so let's I feel like I still ended up,making,not really look like a cat I'm not the,greatest at drawing animals but I tried,guys a black cat is definitely very,Halloween though it reminds me of like,Salem from Sabrina and the Teenage Witch,for any of you who watched 32 we have,these creepy looking zombie eyeballs and,then 33 similar to the candle we did,before but this one is actually on a,candlestick holder I did another cat,just because I wasn't really satisfied,with the other one but still ended up,not really looking like the cat in my,opinion we have a classic owl and then a,pumpkin except this one is actually a,container that you know children use to,collect their trick-or-treating candy oh,I want it I wasn't satisfied with the,options of pumpkins I did so I did a,couple different ones you can definitely,play around with the different faces on,the pumpkins and the shapes of the,pumpkins just to give a variation of,different jack-o'-lanterns number 38 as,you can see I'm drawing the silhouette,of a creepy haunted house on a hill and,I drew like clouds and the moon in the,background,number 39 and 40 we have a ghost and,eight zombie I just did the zombie head,though not the whole body I did another,ghost I was really showing you guys all,the variations of those that you can do,a creepy looking tree with some leaves,falling and then I did a little nod to a,Nightmare Before Christmas because,that's a classic in my opinion I did a,little skull and crossbones symbol and,then a vampire head I feel like this was,the section where I drew a bunch of,different heads so there's the zombie,and then now I'm doing the vampire I,should have done a Frankenstein actually,I just thought of that now and then this,is a section where I wanted to show you,guys some doodles that you can do if you,guys want to play around with lettering,or different banners so this one that,I'm doing is the serif font I feel like,any serif font looks very Halloween,especially if you make it look a little,a symmetrical number 50 which is the,font that I'm doing right now is a,really cool font where it looks like,it's drooping which I thought was pretty,cool,then we've made it past 50 these are,just a couple bonus things you can do,some cute banners where the letters are,hanging off that kind of look like,spiders hanging off of a spiderweb and,then the final two that I did was this,worn out sign that says beware but you,can obviously change out whatever the,sign says and I also did a font that was,made out of Bones which I thought was,pretty cool so here are all of the,Halloween doodles that I thought of we,did it we made it through all of those,Halloween doodle ideas I hope this gave,you some sort of inspiration I'm feeling,very Halloween right now but anyways as,I mentioned at the beginning of the,video I wanted to quickly talk about,Adobe rush because that's actually what,I used to edit this video I always get,tons of questions about the editing,software that I use for my videos and,recently I've been loving Adobe Rush,Adobe actually made rush with social,media in mind so everything's very,optimized and easy for people who make,videos whether you make videos on,YouTube or Instagram there's a bunch of,cool features like editing across all,devices like I can edit on my phone and,my iPad which is super cool you can also,change the orientation of your videos,super easily you guys want me to do an,in-depth demonstration or tutorial or,another video about Adobe Rush let me,know I can definitely do that for you,guys but I highly recommend brush if,you're looking for a really efficient,and easy to use editing software,especially for any beginner editors out,there the interface is super easy to use,and pretty self-explanatory and I had no,issues when I first opened it up I,edited something right Doodle Ideas for when you're bored 🖊️

take a moment to grab a pen and some,paper and i'm going to show you another,easy doodle you're going to start off by,making a shape it does not matter what,the shape is it can be anything and then,you're going to build off of this one,with more of the same type of shape,whatever it is that you drew you can,make this as big as you want just keep,going then you're gonna go back and,basically repeat the whole process by,making lines inside of these shapes that,just gradually get smaller this is the,best part because you can just,completely zone out and relax your mind,and unwind and just kind of get lost in,this little doodle and that's all there,is to it there's your design,doodles for your,it notebook me,i know you don't want me around,your smiles,here's a quick and easy doodle you can,doodle even if you're not a doodler you,can really draw on anything start by,doodling a big c and then do a smaller c,inside well you've already got a,crescent moon put a vertical line on the,right and then a little jagged line in,the middle the mountains are very easy,to draw just lines down for the ridge,lines and little details from there,scribble in a little pine tree now,you're an expert doodler but even if you,weren't,hey guys so i'm bringing back the quick,doodle tutorials this time cottage core,edition here is how i draw a mushroom i,start it with a cylinder base add a,rounded triangle for the top and then an,elongated oval inside at the bottom,connect it with all these lines add,polka dots and there you go let me know,what i should draw next,cause right now you,know i'm obsessed with you,then,you're,as pretty as a picture,has anyone ever told you before,i had no idea muslims couldn't draw,living things but i have something for,you,grab a pen we are drawing a night circus,ice cream cone okay this is way easier,than it sounds trust me draw five sides,it's gonna look like a ring pop but it's,not a ring pop,and then beneath these five sides draw a,cloud shape,i like to add a lot of swirls to my,cloud,i love swirls and i got a little carried,away on the right side so i just,balanced it out over on the left side,here,i did allow myself to get messy with,these we are still drawing beautiful,trash after all,then beneath this cloud we are going to,add the cone and of course make those,lines bold everything looks better when,it's bold,i'm filling in some stripes and shading,in each side,and of course we can't forget a set of,cherries on top,i'm loving this combination of sharp,angles with messy swirls,last i'm going to add a star pattern in,the ice cream and if you like this art,style follow me on instagram savannalore,me heard me wishing i shouldn't start,but now i'm 20 something i still know,nothing about who i am,try this,start with three dots,draw three triangles on the dots,connect each line and extend,but now what,let them merge,keep going,this is going to be a good one,hit the plus button,foreign,wanna add the melting effect to your,doodles,remember to alternate widths sizes and,create the drop effect by widening the,ends,you should try this really easy and cute,doodle idea make a string of dots then,just connect each dot with a bunch of,lines like this more lines the better,make each shape that you connect it with,just slightly different from the rest,when you're done you're left with this,really cool effect,do,you

5 Ways to Fill Your Sketchbook - Halloween Edition! 🎃

foreign,hey guys it's Megan and in today's video,I'll be showing you five Halloween,themed drawing ideas these prompts would,be great for anyone doing inktober or,just as a fun way to get into the,Halloween spirit I actually don't have a,whole lot to say today um all the,supplies will be linked down below and,let's just get into it okay so idea,number one is to draw a person with a,pumpkin as their head I've seen people,do this for like photo shoots and oh my,gosh as cool as this looks like I could,not do it it's like you go through all,the trouble of scooping out all the,pumpkin guts which if somehow you've,never done that before um that is an,experience in and of itself you get,through all that sliminess and then,you're telling me that you're gonna put,your head in there like I don't think so,I don't know like these people they just,must not be claustrophobic that's all I,gotta say like I said it looks so cool,if you can do this like I'm jealous but,I could never what if you got stuck like,what would you do I ain't letting nobody,near my face with a knife that's for,sure and most of these photo shoots are,outside and I'm sorry but if I got one,of those freaking spotted Lantern flies,in there with me I would not make it I,don't know if any of you live in like,the tri-state area but like these things,are everywhere wasn't the pumpkin head,thing like a meme or something okay so I,just looked it up apparently it was from,a YouTube video of some guy on the news,in 2006 which that is crazy comment down,below when did you start watching,YouTube like what was your first,YouTuber that you remember watching,because I'm pretty sure like the first,actual YouTuber that I watched was Fred,you know what the guy that played Fred,of Lucas I actually still watch his,channel I love him I swear in these,videos I always talk about the most,random things but the thing is like I,followed the same exact coloring process,pretty much every single time like no,one wants to hear me say I outlined my,drawing with the who who fineliners,colored it with a Hulu brush markers,then filled in the background with some,acrylic paint every five seconds which,is what I did for this drawing like I,said links are in the description I,didn't really use a reference for this I,mean I did but I combined like 10 of,them and I guess that's kind of what,you're supposed to do isn't it I had a,lot of fun with this dress I drew a,bunch of roses all over the bottom and,it just kind of like made it all fancy,the background I don't really know how I,feel about it as usual I was just kind,of winging it but honestly I think it,ended up being a little bit too much,that's the thing about me like I always,get so focused on these little details,that I'll forget the big picture and,come to think of it that seems to be a,running problem in my life but anyways,here's how the finished page turned out,even though the background might have,been a bit much I still had a lot of fun,with this page the second idea is to,draw yourself as a vampire you could,also do a zombie or a witch but I,already did those in other videos okay,so I recently decided that I need to get,some new clothes and in my quest for a,new wardrobe I keep learning about all,these different Aesthetics I feel like,there used to just be like the visco,girl one but now there's like a million,of them and there's literally one called,Twilight core which is actually so funny,to me because this is literally just how,I dressed in eighth grade except now,they wear flared jeans I definitely said,this before but I used to work at a,movie theater and the number one comment,that I would get from people was always,oh my God you look like Bella from,Twilight personally I think I just have,a little bit of a you know uh resting b,word face I don't know if you can say,that word on YouTube but that's neither,here nor there but I decided to re-watch,Twilight the other day because it was on,one of like the streaming services and,you know what the more I think about it,so that night at like 3am I decided to,look up a Twilight makeup tutorial what,do we think,do I look like freaking Bella from,Twilight I'll comment down below I guess,I'm sure I'll get roasted um also I,didn't do anything to my hair this is,just how I I wake up and it looks like,this,um I don't think I actually look like,Kristen Stewart I think I just look dead,inside anyways for the drawing I based,the outfit off of a vampire Halloween,costume that I wore one year I wanted to,give her skin sort of a blue tint to it,so I lightly went over it with a blue,colored pencil and the reason that she's,holding an owl is honestly just because,like the reference photo that I used the,girl was also holding an owl but like,you know I was alive in 2012. I still,have quite a few owls what should we,name him comment down below I did the,lace detailing on her dress with a blue,posk pen and for the background I tried,to do this sort of like gradient night,sky type deal I started with a dark blue,at the top and I worked my way to a,light blue at the bottom I painted a,white circle and dabbed on a bit of blue,paint with my finger to create the moon,in the upper right then I dipped a small,paintbrush into some more white paint to,create stars all over the sky and once,everything dried here's how the finished,page turned out I kind of messed up the,Shadows on the face like that definitely,could have been better but I sort of,like how I did the background and I kind,of like the dress too idea number three,is to design a spell book now what made,me think of this idea was the fact that,apparently they made a second Hocus,Pocus movie I'm recording this voiceover,on September 30th so it came out today,on Disney plus okay so either I'm like,out of the loop or they just don't,advertise movies like they used to I,think it's a little bit of both because,I had no idea that this was even a thing,until last week I was talking to,somebody the other day and he was like,so have you done anything fun lately and,you know being me I was like no like I,literally have no friends okay like I,have friends it's just that we're all,busy and tired and like no one ever,wants to do anything so like pretty much,I don't have friends but anyways he was,telling me how he'll just like go to the,movies by himself and he's just like you,should do that and I was like you know,what I should do that because that is,one of the few things that you can do by,yourself that's not like really awkward,so I went to see what movies were,playing and there was literally nothing,they're just putting everything directly,onto streaming services now which like,that's nice but there goes that idea,anywho I actually had a lot of fun with,this drawing for the cover of the book I,drew a gray cat with a witch hat and,wrote the word spells on top I wanted to,make it look like the book was sitting,on a table so I drew some pencils a key,and a candle to fill up some of the,white space I actually just used markers,for this one I didn't use any paint or,anything I colored the background Brown,added Shadows to the objects with a,darker brown then used a third shade of,brown to create a wood grain pattern and,darken some of those shadows and here's,how the finished page turned out I think,that this one was actually my favorite,from this whole video originally I was,going to cut the page so that the book,could open but I think I like it just,how it is idea number four is to draw a,haunted house I think I talked about,this in my last Halloween Sketchbook,video but when I was in Girl Scouts we,used to do this thing where we,essentially got to like work in a,haunted house and it was so much fun we,got to like decorate the rooms and make,costumes and stuff there was always lots,of fake blood involved um 10 out of 10.,what was the point of that story I don't,know like working in a haunted house,very fun you can make this as simple or,as complicated as you want I didn't get,too crazy with it I mean this page is,only so big but I still managed to fit,quite a bit of detail in there for,disclosure this was Loosely based off of,a drawing by draw so cute but I did,change pretty much like everything about,it except for the shape of the house I,don't usually draw a ton of buildings so,it was fun to do something different,like this again as usual I colored the,whole page with my huhu brush markers I,was a little bit indecisive about what,color that I wanted the house to be at,first but eventually I settled on making,it purple with some black detailing on,the roof and on the steps and I ended up,giving it a red door the insides of the,windows are yellow it's supposed to look,like the lights are on but I don't,really know how well that came across I,thought that it might look cool to have,silhouettes of different things in the,windows so I went back in with my fine,liners and Drew some Halloween themed,objects I drew an owl a chandelier some,pumpkins this random Banner that's not,really Halloween themed um I just,couldn't think of anything else,a cat a skull a cauldron and a mouse if,you want to get really fancy with it you,can use an X-Acto Knife to cut open the,doors or Windows on your house I just,did the door this time I just flipped my,Sketchbook open and put a cutting mat,behind it to protect my work surface I,found a scrap piece of paper added some,double-sided tape to the edges then,stuck that behind the door and now you,can draw whatever you want on the inside,I ended up drawing this little chibi,style Wednesday Adams I'm pretty sure I,draw her almost every year so I had to,stick her in this video somewhere I also,added some ghosts behind her to fill up,the space and colored the background,yellow to match the windows you know it,sort of looks like she set the house on,fire but I feel like for Wednesday Adams,that's kind of on brand anyways here's,how the finished page turned out I think,this one is so cute and as we know I'm,always a sucker for interactive elements,like this let me know in the comments do,you have a favorite Halloween movie The,Last idea is to make one of these,handprint skeletons I know I got this,idea from Tick Tock but I don't remember,who it was from because I was originally,gonna do this back in March but for for,some reason I just didn't but anyways,for this one the first thing you're,going to want to do is paint your hand,and press it down on the page I painted,my hand black but of course you can do,any color that you want you might notice,that this handprint is a little bit,different from the handprint in the next,clip like I said I did this originally,back in March and I could not find the,clip so that's that on that full,disclosure this skeleton is definitely,not anatomically correct but what I did,for this was I looked up a couple,pictures of skeleton hands then I used,my handprint as a guide to figure out,where to draw the bones I used a black,fine liner to draw the bones where there,was white space and a white gel pen to,draw on top of the paint this was,definitely one of those things that,looks more complicated than it actually,is for Real when I started this I was,like oh my gosh what have I gotten,myself into but I think that having the,handprint to use as a guide helps a lot,my family doesn't really decorate that,much for Halloween but my mom she has,one of those big plastic skeletons that,she got from Target that's been sitting,in our living room for like a couple of,years she does put a Santa hat on him,for Christmas but like he's just,chilling in there there's really not a,whole lot to say about this one but I,think that it looks so cool like I would,actually use this as wall art How To Draw Trick Or Treat

hey our friends today we're going to be,drawing a bunch of words trick or treat,we hope you're excited and you're going,to follow along with us now for this,lesson we we usually just use a marker,but we're also going to use a pencil yes,which you also need eraser or a big,earring a big eraser by itself and we,also need some paper paper and something,to color with color width at the very,end you ready to start yes now we're,first going to use our pencil and we're,going to write the words out trick or,treat on our paper but we want to make,sure that we press extremely light so,that we can erase them now because these,are just going to be the guidelines yeah,now let's first write the word or right,in the middle of our paper now press,really light and i'm kind of writing the,letters close to each other,there we go now we're going to write the,word trick above it now you can write,them uppercase or lowercase it doesn't,really matter but i'm going to write,them bigger than our,word or so i'm going to write trick,t r i,c,k and we want to make sure that we spell,our words correctly yeah that's always,embarrassing when we make a nice drawing,with words and we misspell something,now we're going to write the word treat,underneath t,and we're going to we want to make sure,we can't draw it bigger,than our first word or so t r,e,a,now we're going to switch to our marker,and we're going to outline each letter,i'll watch this i'm going to draw i'm,going to outline our t first so i'm,going to go around it like this,and we're doing,bubble letters you could also do block,letters if you want so there's the first,letter,now i think it's cool if you actually go,over the next letter because we're going,to use overlapping good job so now let's,go around our the letter r so i'm going,to start here underneath i'm going to go,around like this,and it's going to just connect into the,t look at that it looks 3d yeah is that,cool now let's do the eye,so we're gonna go all the way around the,eye,and then the little dot at the top i'm,gonna go like this oh it looks awesome,okay now let's do the c,i'm gonna connect it to the eye and then,imagine it going behind and coming out,the bottom,and then connecting back up to the top,oh we're almost done let's do the k i'm,gonna go all the way up and around,now the fun thing about the the,technique that we're doing to do these,little bubble letters is you could write,any word yeah this works for any word,you could even do your name now let's do,the or,i'm gonna draw a big circle that goes,around the whole thing first,then i'm going to do a little circle,that's inside,so make sure you don't trace the pencil,we're going on the outside now let's do,the r,okay go around the whole thing first,like that and if it's close enough you,can connect it to the o and make it look,overlapping too and then we first get at,the very end we gotta go in and,draw the little circle inside the r,yeah all right now let's jump down here,and draw around the letters for the word,treat so we're going to do the same,thing for the t,around it,and then the same thing on the r this,one could be a little different on mine,because,it's not overlapping as much so i put a,little bump at the top,yeah just like that that's cool now,let's do the letter e i'm gonna go all,the way around it kind of like we did,with the o,and also the r just go around the whole,thing first and then go back in and add,the little circle,and the top and now let's do the a,all the way around it now i know we're,going really fast so what can our,friends do if they need more time pause,the video yeah you guys can always pause,the video,if you need more time,especially if you're really trying to,follow along with us i think the cool,thing about this lesson though is that,you can use your own creativity once you,know how to do one letter you can really,just do the whole thing without even,following us now we're going to go,around the last,t,and we're going to use a lot of,overlapping on this one i'm going to go,up connect it to the a,connect the top part to the a also all,right jack we did it we finished going,around and outlining our letters what do,you think the next step is erase the,pencil marks yeah we're going to use our,erasers to erase the guidelines inside,each of the letters now you can use the,one that's on the end of your pencil or,if you have a separate one you can use,that too you ready to fast forward yeah,now that we're done erasing all of the,guidelines let's add a few more,decorations around the words let's do a,skull first i'm going to draw it right,over here on the left side we can draw,two ovals,now this is we're going to repeat the,same steps that we did for the coffin,now we're going to go around these eyes,with a circle but don't connect at the,bottom,then down here let's draw the teeth,we'll draw a bunch of views connected,there's a simple skull all right now,let's draw over here on the right let's,add a pumpkin so i'm going to draw,another watch this i'm going to draw an,oval that goes around like this but it's,overlapping behind the letter t,then we can draw the little stem coming,out of the top,and then let's draw a leaf i'm going to,draw a diagonal line i could draw a,curve we've drawn this pumpkin a couple,times already yeah it looks like an,apple,and we can draw i'm going to draw,eyes,and i'm going to draw a mouth,okay now let's add some bats too i'm up,here i'm going to draw the letter m,first,for his ears and then i'm going to draw,a diagonal line that comes out and down,and we'll do that on the left side too,now we can connect the left side over to,the right side by drawing upside down,u's,that's pretty simple right yeah let's,repeat that same step down here and draw,another bat letter m,diagonal line goes out and down,on both sides,and then connect the bottom with upside,down u's,and we still need to do one last thing,to this drawing what do we need to do,color it yeah it's going to look so much,better once we color this part we're,going to fast forward but at the end you,guys can pause it to match the same,color,we did a jack we finished coloring or,trick-or-treat words and it looks so,much better colored in i hope you guys,at home are gonna pause the video to,color your drawings also now you can,even add extra decorations what do we,add candy corn candy corns and even,lighter a spider i especially love your,spider it's going behind the word treat,and one last thing that we did was go,around each of the letters with a,thicker line to make How to Draw the Grim Reaper Easy 💀Halloween Art

hi dresser cutie 20 here today we're,drawing the grim reaper to celebrate,halloween it's the one time of the year,i get to draw something kind of spooky,but trying to make it cute as well if,that's possible so get your sharpie or,your pencil ready and your piece of,paper and let's get started,to draw this very cool character let's,first start by drawing eye sockets so,i'm going to come right here and start,basically drawing an oval at a slight,slant so i'm just going to come around,making the bottom a little bit,wider and connect,and same thing over here so we're just,going to do two draw two of them,so these eye sockets are meant to make,it look a little bit more friendly and,cuter,okay so we have these two,big ovals at a slight slant,and then we're going to come to the,center of that and then draw the nose so,right here it's kind of like an upside,down heart i'm just going to go ahead,and right here and draw that,and,i might as well just come in here and,shade this all in,black so you can see a little bit better,so of course you can draw your grim,reaper with those very,scary eyes if you like,i'm trying to make mine a little bit,cuter,okay so now that we have that in let's,come to the bottom of each eye and about,right here i'm just going to go ahead,and draw a curve,right underneath on both sides right,underneath kind of nicely centered,then from there is where i'm going to,start to draw the mouth area so kind of,like the center of each eye i'm going to,come down with a slight,angle,on both sides,round it off and connect at the bottom,of a curve,there and then we're going to just come,in here in the center maybe maybe just,three lines,for indication of the teeth,and then in between each eye let's just,add a little curve,right here in between,there,so then from there we're going to come,to the top above the center area doesn't,really matter maybe a little bit off,center i'm just going to say about right,here and i'm going to draw a curve close,to the eye socket,so this is kind of where the hood is so,i'm just going to draw a curve,close to the eye socket,and down so same thing over here,and,down,so then from there i just want enough,space because i need to draw the,cheekbone area so about right here i'm,going to go ahead following the eye,socket,go ahead and connect,this curve so same thing over here,there so we've created our skull inside,and then let's see now we can go ahead,and finish,this part so we're going to bring this,down,underneath,the mouth towards the center just slope,down,and go back up,right here,and then let's come to the let's see,let's come back over here and we're,going to thicken this up it says come,follow a little bit wider right here and,we're going to go up,so same thing over here thinner here and,then we're going to go up wider,to go up so as we come up right here,follow and then about top right here,we're going to make it taller,towards the center is going to be our,tallest pink area,and i'm going to bring this down,and then about right here to create the,other side,and same thing so in this area right,here is where we're going to create this,little tail,and bring it in,there okay so then in this space right,here you can just color it black or red,whatever color you want inside,i won't color it black yet because i,might want to make it red we'll see,okay so then from there let's draw the,body so let's say about right here,and here nicely in the center i'm just,going to draw a curve,and i'm going to come back in this area,and come down for a very simplified,probe,so i'll just bring this down,and this,so about right there i'm going to stop,because um i have this site that the,grim reaper is holding that's going to,be about in this area,and,well actually you know what,i'll erase just so,let me show it to you a little bit,easier so i'll bring this down,so if you're using a pencil just go,ahead and bring this down,and,let's say about right here i'll stop,and i'll come in here and zigzag my way,across,for the ends of our robe,to make it kind of raggedy right at the,bottom so you're just coming this way,and as you come to the center go the,other way,then from there let's draw this hand,first since it's a lot simpler just come,to the side,kind of follow,get a little bit,zigzag and then just a,curve in to simplify it,then on this side let's put the hands,about right here so i'm going to start,let's say about right here,go ahead and draw a thumb,it's an oval,and we're going to have another oval,going,this way,another one and one more so three of,them,right there and in this hand we're going,to draw,angle lying down,holding our sight so let's bring this,down,angling it about right here,so that's why i say if you're using a,pencil definitely draw the rope first,it's a lot easier,now just end it about right there,and this is going to go up and i'm just,going to,imagine it so let's say about right here,i'll give myself a point and draw,downwards because it's just much easier,for my hand,so just try my best oh my gosh,let's do that again,and so if you're at home definitely turn,your paper if you need to,to get a better angle to draw this line,and bring it down,there,okay so then as we come to the top right,here we're going to draw the blade so,i'm going to come,right here over,head and draw a big curve right over,now just give it a slight angle right,here come up round it off as well and,come across to thicken our blade,and back down,there and then you can pop out,an end right here,there,come in here and just thicken this,bottom part up,just give it a little bit more volume,there,okay so then in this area we need to,fill in the robe so right here for the,arms i'm just going to come down,and drape curve across,and let's see about right here,just go ahead and just draw a curve,there we'll end it like that to simplify,it,okay so um that is pretty much it,put a little line right here,and i'm gonna come in here with my,white out pen and just erase this part,right here,so you can see a bit better,and here,so they're all done i really hope you,love how this grim reaper turned out and,that it wasn't too scary and thanks so,much for 5 Ways to fill your Sketchbook: Halloween edition! Fall drawing ideas

hey guys it's Megan in today's video,I'll be showing you five different,Halloween themed drawing prompts that I,came up with these ideas are perfect for,those of you who are doing inktober this,year or if you just want to get into the,Halloween spirit but before we get into,it I wanted to quickly let you guys know,that I finally made merch I've been,wanting to do this forever,and I really hope that you guys like it,if you want to check it out I'll have it,linked in the description but with all,that being said let's just get into the,video,the first idea that I have for you guys,is to create a drawing inspired by a,Halloween costume that you've worn in,the past this was actually based off of,a real costume that I wore one year,don't ask me what it's supposed to be,it's honestly just an old wedding dress,with fake blood all over it,but this is one of my favorite pictures,and the story behind this is that I was,in Girl Scouts when I was younger and we,occasionally did things with the Boy,Scouts and they had an event called the,haunted trail where we got to set up our,own little haunted house portion so we,made our own props and costumes and the,thing that says no forgiveness in the,background is a sheet and it's tacked up,to the wall I got to hide behind that,and jumped out at people it was so much,fun I definitely made a few kids cry,which I don't know what that says about,me but I thought that that meant that I,did a pretty good job I didn't do,anything too special to color it in just,the same thing that I usually do using a,mixture of alcohol-based markers and,colored pencils to shade it a little I,didn't feel like trying to draw the lace,on the dress so I used these stickers,that I got at the Dollar Tree that was,one of those things that I bought,thinking I bet I could use that one day,and what do you know I actually did that,honestly never happens I painted the,walls with dark brown paint to match the,walls in the photo and used a white gel,pen to draw a few cobwebs in the corners,the most fun part about this drawing was,adding the blood I did that using red,acrylic paint and these new detail,brushes that our taser sent me my,favorite part was painting the tiny,handprints all over it after everything,dried I sealed the page with some matte,Mod Podge I've gotten into the habit of,doing this over some of the,quote-unquote nicer,pages in my sketchbook and it's worked,really well so far so here's how the,finished page turned out there's really,not much to say about this but I,honestly love it,the next idea is to draw your favorite,Halloween candy you can do this in a few,different ways you could just make a,page with some of your favorites like I,did or you can rank them from best to,worst you could even glue in real candy,wrappers if you wanted to I really,wanted to do an idea for this video,where I used real candy wrappers to make,outfits for characters but I didn't have,any candy at my house I feel like that,would be fun to do though on this page I,drew a pumpkin filled with some of my,favorite candies I initially only plan,to draw three types of candy but since I,did the pumpkin thing I needed to pick a,few more to fill it my favorite candy to,get was always three musketeers Kit Kats,and Milky Way's my least favorite was,probably whoppers and I always gave,those and a few of the other ones to my,dad I feel like I did a decent job,shading the pumpkin but by the time I,got to the candy inside not gonna lie I,was a little bit over it,oh yeah and for the record I think that,candy corn is kind of gross unless it's,the chocolate flavored kind but I needed,to fill up the space in there which,comment down below do you like candy,corn or do you not cuz I feel like,that's a largely debated topic for some,reason anyways I painted the background,purple to bring everything together and,here's how the finished page turned out,it's definitely not perfect but I like,that it's something that I wouldn't,normally draw another fun thing you can,do is to draw yourself as which I,actually did this last year but it,honestly doesn't look so great this time,I went for a slightly more cartoony,style making the eyes just black dots,inside of the classes and doing a super,simple nose and mouth the outfit is,actually based off of another Halloween,costume that my mom made for me when I,was 9 or 10 which again I had to block,out the face so that YouTube doesn't,turn my comments off but it's fine,because didn't look so hot in this,picture it was very sunny and I was,squinting I took a few artistic,liberties of course like removing the,long-sleeve shirt that I had,under the costume in the picture and,adding a red band around the Hat that,was always the problem on Halloween,where I live it was generally below 50,degrees and you were honestly lucky if,it didn't snow,I drew my cat peeking out from behind me,she's supposed to look like a ghost but,I'm not sure how well I achieved that,anyways since I was holding a broom in,the photo I decided to draw myself,stirring a cauldron full of something,which of course I had to make purple,I made the floor blue and painted the,background orange then I used a brown,pasta pen and a ruler to make shelves in,the background to fill up the shelves I,used some Halloween stickers that I had,so here's how the finished page turned,out I really liked all of the stickers,in the background but I'm not sure how I,feel about how I did the eyes the fourth,idea is to create art using fall leaves,I did a variation of this in my fall,sketchbook ideas video that I did last,year but this year I decided to do,something a little different go outside,and collect some leaves the ones that,are more flexible work the best take,some wax paper and paper towels and lay,out a paper towel a sheet of wax paper,your leaves another sheet of wax paper,and then another paper towel use an iron,to melt the wax paper together and when,one side is done flip the wax paper over,and iron the other side after it cools,peel the wax paper apart the next part,is optional but I like to cover both,sides of my leaves with Mod Podge for,stability cover one side let it dry then,flip them over to do the other side I,thought it would be fun to try drawing,on my leaves,I drew a simple mandala design with a,white pasta pen on this one and,obviously you can do whatever you want,on this you don't have to do a mandala,design I've seen people paint like,nature scenes or you could even do a,Halloween scene really just anything you,can think of my pasta pens are kind of,running out so I went over some of the,lines with white acrylic paint if you,don't have pasta pens you can just use,paint and a small brush another fun,thing to do with leave,is to make leaf rubbings for this part,you'll need some fresher more green,leaves because the lines tend to show up,better on those take a few old broken,crayons and peel off the wrapper tape a,piece of paper to your work surface,place a leaf on top and tape another,piece of paper on top of that rub the,side of your crayon all over the leaf to,reveal the design as you can see there,were a few marks on the paper on the,bottom which is why it's important to,have something under the leaves then our,computer paper works best for this,project so these make a great element to,glue in your sketchbook make as many,leaf rubbings as you'd like and when,you're done you'll have something like,this I cut all of my leaf rubbings out,to use as collage elements I arranged a,few of the leaves on the back of a,sketch book page and attach them with a,glue stick,I've been challenging myself to use the,front and back of each page in my,sketchbook so this is another great,option for pages that have bled through,I used more Mod Podge to attach the real,leaf to the center of the page I ended,up cutting off the stem because I didn't,want the page to be too bulky so I drew,one on with a pasta pen instead I put,something heavy on the leaf and let it,dry overnight if you're a little less,patient hot glue would work too and just,like before I covered the page with,matte Mod Podge so the cran wouldn't,transfer to the opposite page so here's,how the finished page turned out this,was a really fun process and it's a nice,thing to do when you want to make,something but drawing just isn't,happening the last idea is an easy issue,a to tackle inktober I know inktober has,already started but I thought this might,still help some of you guys out instead,of doing a full page everyday you can,divide one page into smaller sections,and fill it up that way I've seen people,do this on tik-tok usually with canvases,where they fill up a square every day I,decided to draw the characters from the,new Addams Family movie which people of,YouTube if you're watching this this is,not a kids video I just really like The,Addams Family I literally have a whole,Wednesday Addams collection,so naturally I had to draw her first the,proportions of the new character designs,gave me some trouble for some reason,Wednesday has a super elongated head and,I definitely didn't get it exactly right,this ended up being a bit more,challenging than I anticipated but I had,fun doing it I colored the characters,the same way that I always do using a,mixture of my oh-hoo-hoo brush markers,and some prismacolor colored pencils I,painted the background blue to kind of,match the movie poster and then I used a,straw dipped in darker blue paint to add,more detail I drew six different,characters and made a tick-tock to go,with each one if you want to see the,rest of them head over to my Instagram,or tik-tok they're both a twylar Meg's,I'll be posting them over there over the,next few days so Cat in a Pumpkin - Cute Drawings Halloween Drawings

hey how's it going today i'm gonna go,over how to draw a cat in a pumpkin,it's gonna be cute it's gonna be easy,it's gonna be for beginners and it's,gonna be step by step so,do me a favor grab a piece of paper grab,a marker grab anything,uh and then join along with me okay if,you need to pause the video go get that,stuff and come back you can do that but,let's get started,and let's get going so right off the bat,i'm going to start with,just a small curve,okay i'm gonna pull that curve,down it's gonna be for the cat's body,i'm gonna go on the other side here,duplicate that curve,curve it around,so you get both sides of the cat's face,and i am going to,make some small rivets because it's,going to have a piece of the pumpkin,on him,maybe about four you know think about it,kind of like if you're drawing like,water or something also,do me a huge favor hit that subscribe,button and hit that like button if you,do like halloween,also the subscribe button will allow you,to watch uh every one of my videos,hopefully,i'm gonna be posting three times a day,until halloween i want to stay motivated,so please do me a huge favor comment,say hi to me share the video that'll,keep me super super motivated if i know,that people are watching,all right and i'm gonna go back to the,pumpkin piece on his head,one side of it,the other side of it,i'm just gonna close that off i guess,we draw a little square here,as the stem,the top of the head a little dash for,the top of his head,now i'm gonna,draw a triangle there for his uh ear,small triangle with inside of here that,i'm going to put there,upside down u right here upside down um,yeah you basically for that one eye,i'm gonna do the same shape on the other,end,now i'm going to go over here and i'm,going to draw a w,and at the top of that w i'm going to,draw the nose it can be round it can be,an upside down triangle anything's fine,it could be just a dot,i've seen just a dot like pikachu tends,to have like kind of like just a dot,and then,i'm gonna go around here draw a little,hump and that's gonna be,top of the pumpkin here a little hump,little hump little hump,this is putting in the halloween spirit,please let me know,also let me know what you're gonna be,for halloween i'm very curious uh i,don't know what i'm gonna dress like for,halloween this year,i'm gonna extend that a little bit out,onto the cat and i'm going to pull that,line,back as if the cat is sitting inside of,the pumpkin,okay now i'm going to pull,one curve for the outside of the pumpkin,i'm gonna pull the other curve for the,other side,and do the small rivets again right here,more,more,okay,and i'm going to uh just kind of,well i was going to put a face but now i,i think i'd rather just do the,striations in the pumpkin,so i'm going to draw a thin line going,from here to here okay,and i'm not going to put much pressure,on it because i want the line to be,thinner i want it to be doesn't matter,if it is,and i'm gonna draw them along the back,here as well,and i'm going to go to the pumpkin piece,on his head and do the exact same thing,i'm going to draw little striations,to that point,and that is it that is a cat in a,pumpkin,uh halloween pumpkin so what i'm gonna,do is i'm gonna draw maybe a thicker,line,at the bottom to kind of ground the,drawing and give it like a base,like a strong base kind of a strong,visual base,but that is it hopefully you like that,if you like that do me a huge favor like,i said share that like it all that stuff,and comment like i really love talking,to you guys,um that is pretty much it also don't,forget i'm selling this,this is a sketchbook of mine of private,sketches that i had it is basically,tons of horror and fan art sketches i,crammed,this book full of them it is uh 24 pages,it's totally,packed uh back to front um but yeah,check that out mostly made up of dreams,uh it was gonna be 30,35 i believe but i ended up cutting it,way back uh so go check out the link in,the description if you don't find it do,me a huge favor and comment,and see where that description is i got,only like 10 more of those so,all right thank you so much i will talk,to you in the very next video,and uh let's stay spooky,foreign
