DIY Haunted House 2021

all right hey everyone this is uh,halloween 2021,i'm making this video um not only to,document what i did,but to hopefully help other people,come up with,ideas for uh future haunted houses,okay,so,i made my haunted house,out of pop-up tents,and other decorations,so as you can see i have a smaller like,a 10 by 10 or 12 by 12,attached to a big 20 by 10.,then over here is,some stuff i really handmade,as you can probably tell,and of course this is all during the day,i'm gonna have the lights and everything,running for the nighttime version,uh which i'll add to this video,so first,um,this is the spider tunnel,so this is the entrance it's a spider,tunnel,i made this,out of pvc pipe,see these are just little wooden stands,i drilled holes and put ground stakes to,keep these parts in because there's a,lot of tension,and then basically it's just pvc pipe,that runs,up above,uh and then here's the other end,and i screwed in,the tent legs as well,that's like a 35 pound weight,um so this part is all black tarp,uh spider webs um,i hope it looks really good during the,night,some lights,then you come up here,and from here i have a step pad,that goes to mr dark,um,he's not on yet,youtube,so he's a new animatronic i got from,spirit this year,i just got really lucky to find him,so next after you come out of the spider,tunnel which i made again with just,some wood some pvc pipe,um,and oh and also pretty much this whole,thing is,held together with like zip ties,yeah zip ties pretty much,so then from here,uh you you go inside,this is just a skeleton with like a,plastic thing around him,i put some dangling chains,a lot of tarp i used a lot of tart but,it's actually relatively uh,affordable,and then like i said this is all just,big,like a heavy duty pop-up tent i got off,amazon,and it's really holding up well we've,got some pretty strong wins too,so black quiet,so after some little entrance hallway,you go into the clown room,this is all uh,background background stuff i got from,spirit as well,in the clown room,as you can see it's all just in my,driveway,the clown room,a little transition area,to go into the other main room,and then as you can see i i mounted a,big black light in the middle so i did,it using just a like a chunk of oak,or pine,like the wax pine and it's really easy,really lightweight but it just held up,between,these rods uh i drilled holes,ran zip ties,to attach it it's it's really not going,anywhere,and this is like the uh torture room,lots of chain,uh,unzip ties everywhere,uh,michael myers,animatronic,scary stuff,it's a fog machine,this is actually uh,attached to this cool little,uh dropping device i found it spirit,it's like 30 bucks,so basically the head drops and then,yeah it drops and then it slowly comes,back up,another black,light are some,lights as well,then from here it's kind of the,transition,outside,um i have a step pad,for her,it's like,umbrella girl,okay and then,the other,thing that i really had to consider was,how to make like an entry slash exit,so i used just the main entrance on one,side,open it up,knocked,uh both these sides back with zip ties,and then i just hung like a white,piece of,lace rope whatever,and i attached it to a little hook up on,the side of my house,and i just ran the tarp,and as you can see uh it made a pretty,good divider,obviously this isn't a permanent,structure,but for one or two nights it works great,it,clearly divides the entrance,from,the exit,so as you come out of the tent,son he's eight made that proud of him,um,some more stuff,from here you just follow the path,and you're done,this,is how i made a haunted house,using,uh pop-up tents,a bunch of zip ties,um decorations,um black plastic,uh cheating,you just get in the real big roles,and a lot of imagination and time,that's it and i will attach,another video of everything once it's,turned on,oh my gosh,oh,yes,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh,what are you doing,where's dad,you're welcome,right,you

Creepy DIY Halloween Decorations From The Creators Of 3 Over-The-Top Haunted Houses

take this and dip it in glow-in-the-dark,paint if you want it just in that circle,could you get it into that circle right,there put a little bit like that,very good Joe when the lights go off how,eyes are gonna globe all right so I came,up with this idea I wanted my house to,really look like a haunted house so I,mean looking at a haunted house you know,what's the first thing you'll see the,boards on the windows this is what I did,I came up I went to my local hardware,store and I picked up insulation foam,the pink or the blue stuff which is what,we have right here okay and it'll keep,you warm in a pinch exactly you get,thinnest stuff it doesn't have to be,this thick it could be a little thinner,look good all right so now what I did,what we did here was we painted at a,base color what we're gonna do is we're,gonna do a dry brush technique so we're,gonna go with some grays and some,lighter colors right now and we're gonna,actually create the effect of wood grain,so the best brush to use would be this,it's a dragon it's a cold a dragon brush,so this is what we're gonna do,we'll go with it we'll go to a medium,tone like a grey and we'll slowly drag,it across like you drag bodies,we're gonna put more on we're gonna put,more on we're gonna put more now by,wiggling it when you wiggle the brush,that's also gonna help create the wood,graining effect now we're gonna actually,dip with another coat we're gonna use,the same brush yes we're gonna do so,much you wanna do so I get perfect okay,bring it from this edge Oh Wiggly a,little bit a little bit there you go,okay now we're gonna do is we're gonna,dry brush real quick over it's gonna,blend some of this together all right,there we go wait one more thing one more,thing we forgot nail heads,oh just the nail head exactly you're not,gonna do that,so you're gonna just do a couple of nail,heads over here as though it was put in,and it's wet so we put it on this tree,edges and then we stick it on the doodad,right there like that,so here we're gonna start with a,portrait and what we're gonna do this is,my dad as you notice from the from the,intro I want to include him because this,is really his tip we're gonna make his,eyes follow you using an optical,illusion it's really really simple I,believe all of you folks can do this at,home okay so what we're gonna start by,doing is we're gonna cut out the eyes,right here okay I actually have a,pre-cut the eyes are gone here we're,gonna cut a ping-pong ball in half okay,and we're gonna use the ping-pong ball,for eyes so we're gonna take this exacto,knife right here okay any knife can do,you can even use a kitchen knife if you,have one my kitchen knife you've used,the exact okay I have a razor a kitchen,set thank you so we're gonna cut this,real quick now you always want to cut,away from you of course because you,don't want to hurt yourself,once you get about 3/4 of the way done,you can just stop and it'll snap open on,its own so now you've got two eyeballs,and you'll notice that they are concave,on the inside this is going to be what,creates our illusion okay now my eyes,are green in my dad dad's eyes are also,green so we're gonna use this green,marker but if you want to go for a,demonic effect you can use a red marker,alright so now we've got some green for,the iris and we're gonna use the pupil,is gonna be black okay and dads are,their eyeball yeah Thank You Rachel,we're just gonna put the eyeballs right,here and tape them on tape of mine,I can handle tape or you can put in a,frame like this,carve a foam pumpkin you can pick it up,at any craft store they're nice to have,because you can reuse them every year,you don't have to go really build on,there's one that you did but you love,okay we don't have to throw it out we,can make it back for the kids cuz we,have a two year old now and she doesn't,know how to carve yet but she can pick,out her own eyes or oh no it's her own,mouth so you can put a bunch on the,table you can have your kids pick up any,eyes they want they can put them on you,can chase them and then you can cut them,out but anything their pom baby right a,lot of people use um you know different,nice at house the the best what I have,is a box cutter it actually cuts really,pumpkin knives that you get at the,grocery stores like these to use because,for like the detail like the detail,right and the good thing about using the,fake punt pumpkins is that you don't,have to a big mess can I show them some,of these yeah this would be our finished,product of the pumpkin oh these are,amazing and then how are we gonna,illuminate though you can take one and,you're gonna crack that and shake it up,and the nice thing about this is you can,put whatever colour you

Halloween 2020 Party Decor + Props! | Haunted House Tour (⚠️SUPER SCARY!)

hey guys it's vaughn and today i'm,really excited because i'm going to,share with you guys my,halloween decoration house tour i'm,calling this a haunted house store,because that's basically what it is i've,created kind of this elaborate,layout of decorations because one i'm a,halloween enthusiast i've kind of,created kind of my childhood,halloween fantasy with these decorations,but also i'm having a halloween party,this is probably the creepiest halloween,decorations you guys will see on youtube,probably in the history of youtube,so i am giving you guys a disclaimer,right now if you are watching this video,with small,children if you are faint at heart if,you really don't like really really,creepy scary halloween decorations,this is not the video for you so i just,want to warn you guys now so no one is,caught off guard,alright so if you guys want to see super,creepy halloween decorations then stay,tuned,okay guys so here we are we are in my,foyer we're going to start the tour,right here,it's got to jump out at you because it's,the first thing you see when you come in,so we've done some light decorating on,the staircase we have our,life-size um skeleton creature here i,actually got this thing from walmart for,25,so if you guys are looking for life-size,posable,skeletons definitely check walmart at,the top of the staircase up here i have,like this miniature kind of ghoul,hanging,i got my lanterns you guys will see,lanterns all throughout the theme here,because lanterns are so creepy and cool,if you need them to be and i have my,hanging ghoul here you guys i have my,creepy girl who's sitting on top of a,tombstone,and she's really cool because you,actually plug her in,and she speaks she says really creepy,things i'll show you guys later what she,says,but it's really cool because her eyes,light up and all that so i thought this,was perfect to put by the front,entrance because it's motion activated,so as people are coming in she'll be,like,freaking them out so that's going to be,really fun and i have another bone,character right here sitting on the,bench i wanted this bull to hang,because i wanted to kind of cover up,some of the more like welcoming pleasant,kind of decor and you guys will notice,that throughout the theme but i want to,cover up some of that homey stuff so,you're really convinced that you're in a,haunted house you don't want to see a,bunch of like,bright lively things also a lot of the,decorations that you guys see we have,from last year and we had it outside so,we decided to bring it inside we did not,decorate outside at all,so everything was brought in for the,party and then this,girl this creepy swinging girl you guys,i am so,excited about this piece most of the,ghouls that you see the girl on the,tombstone the hanging ghouls,i got from party city but this,particular figure i got from,spirit halloween and she actually comes,with a swinging mechanism to help her,swing but i opted out of that because,i'm like that's a little too much that,is not necessary,so we decided to just hang her from the,top of the staircase so she's hanging on,to those bouncers up there,and she looks mad creepy and i love this,right here in the walkway it's going to,creep people out it's going to be so,awesome,i just love that she's kind of like,life-sized,so that makes it even more believable,and creep people out because of the fact,that,she looks like she can literally just,hop off this thing and be a real life,person so,it makes it even scarier all right let's,go into the dining room,so this is probably my favorite part of,the house as it relates to really any,type of seasonal decor you'll notice,that i removed all of the,chairs out of here because it was just,not necessary,and it was kind of thrown off my bike a,little bit but also when we do the party,i really don't want the chairs here i,want people to be able to,come in here and get the food because,this is where all the food and drinks,are gonna be so i put the chairs in the,garage they're fine,um i left one out and i covered it with,a,bed sheet you guys so i covered this,chair so that it could look a little bit,more dark and gloomy and i put one of,our life-sized,skeleton figures on it and it looks so,creepy and it's kind of like inviting,you to come,over into the dining room and get,something to eat all i did also you guys,was on the back of this chair i added,some of the creepy cloth,and you'll notice that i have a lot of,creepy cloth all throughout the house,and i love,this stuff because it really makes,things look creepy,you can also use this for like pirates,of the caribbean type of scenes or just,anything where,you're trying to convince people that,the scene is old something's old,something's aged,so this creepy cloth is awesome just to,keep in mind to check the dimensions on,it before you buy it because,sometimes you'll open the package and,it'll be a lot smaller a lot less cloth,than you thought,so anywho let's come here to the table,you guys i have it set,like this for now but it's going to,change for the party so i just added a,creepy,lantern here which is really cool once,it's lit up i have this cantaloupe that,i got from,hobby lobby and we added black candles,to everything i swapped out all of my,white candles for black because black is,so much creepier,i got the candles from amazon this is,one of my,older thrift store finds i usually use,these gold handle holders for christmas,but i decided to bring them in for this,spread and it worked,so well as you guys can see because it,gives you kind of like that elegant,old castle gargoyle um 18th century,type of decor especially for something,creepy like this so i think it worked,out great,a lot of this stuff the bones and this,stack,of skull heads they actually lights up i,got all that stuff from walmart,even these little hanging skeletons here,i got from walmart these glasses are,really cool,and creepy as well and i'm actually,going to be using these for the party,they're not just for decoration,i think i got these from home goods i,actually got these from my aunt felicia,glass vases i guess you could call them,this is more for like you know seasonal,decor you could use it for anything and,i decided in this case to stick some,limbs in it so i had these around the,house as well,i think it was super cool to put the,hand down in there because that way it's,not just laying flat,it's standing up straight and it also,looks kind of scary because in a glass,jar so it makes it seem like,it's like in a lab or something like,that so i thought that was pretty cool,i also added lots of spider webs you,gotta have spider webs for your creepy,haunted house,scene so i put spider webs all over this,chandelier you guys i hate dealing with,these spiderwebs they're a must-have but,i can't stand putting them up because,it's like so difficult,and it's also kind of rough taking them,down but,i had to have them so i put them all,over the chandelier and i think it,really adds a nice touch to the table,now come on back here i want to show you,guys what i did with the buffet table,now before we get started on the buffet,table i want to show you guys that i do,have these strobe lights all over the,floors you probably notice it in the,foyer,next to my little girl sitting there,these are going to look really cool once,it gets,dark and the lights are down and you,kind of see this kind of creepy,flickering light so i'm going to show,you guys that in the end so keep,watching because in the end i'm going to,show you guys what all this looks like,at,night and it's going to be optimal at,night trust me but here is my buffet top,i kind of have to set up for the party a,little bit you guys because i got my,little,plastic dollar store creepy glasses out,already and then some of the shot,glasses that i got i did get this creepy,tree,from walmart it's so nice when it's lit,up i'll show it to you guys at night i,got another one of my limbs over here,on the back here i got some spider webs,and some creepy cloth hanging now you,guys know that this was um,an area of family photos they were black,and white but i wanted to kind of,take the attention away from the family,photos a bit because that's really not,creepy enough so i found these,photo decals at party city you guys i,pretty much just have those,covering some of the family photos there,and then the other ones you can't see,because they're covered by spider webs,and creepy cloth and in the middle here,i'm just using one of these,styrofoam tombstones this one has a,gargoyle at the top which i think is,super,cool so i have that one kind of in the,middle covering that photo in the middle,now over here i want to show you guys,these props that i got off amazon,they're like fake,poison containers these are so realistic,looking you guys it's real glass i love,the labels and the little cork at the,top,and these also come with screw-on lids,so you could use these for,actually holding like real liquid that,you plan on drinking we are not for my,party,but they're really cool to have so i'll,put the links to everything i can find,in the description box you guys,i'm definitely gonna be using my,stainless steel ice bucket and i already,have it set,up for the party so i ordered these,blood bags off amazon that you can fill,up with any type of,bread drink it's got the nice straw,right there these,actually come with straw closures and,like i said i got them off of,amazon and i'll put the link below for,you guys but we're definitely going to,have these and i plan on having them,like,sitting on top of the ice for the,party's gonna be so cool okay now let's,move over into,the formal living room all right so this,is the formal living room you guys at,first i wasn't even decorating here but,i decided let's go ahead and do it,so i started off with some spider webs,on the channel there as you can see,this door leads into the family room and,i didn't want to use it,for this occasion i didn't want anyone,opening this door because i have some,decorations on the other side,that i don't want move so i decided to,do something creative,and trick people into thinking that this,is all part of,the vibe so i found these wood planks,that kind of gives it that boarded look,and you guys they sell these at walmart,and they're really affordable,it comes with its own adhesive so i just,kind of have those attached on there and,i also,found this like caution tape at spirit,halloween store,and these fake chains on the doorknobs i,got from,it was like a pack in walmart so i just,laid those on there so that it can,really have that,look of really trying to keep people out,as though something creepy is happening,on the other side,over here i just decorated with some,more creepy cloth and spider webs i,found this beware,you know blood dripping um effect at,walmart so i put that up on the mirror,you'll notice i have the spider webs and,creepy cloth kind of attached to the,wall i'm using my 3m,hooks to do this you guys i didn't use,nails or tape and i found these,pillowcases on amazon i bought these,like,early in september can't go wrong with,80s horror i love that this one has like,all the,best of the 80s you know you got your,jason your freddy,your michael myers you got your leather,face so i thought this was really really,cool and then you know charles lee ray,you know my boy i grew up on this um,this 80s horror stuff so,gotta love it so that's the sitting area,there now let's talk about this,coffee table in the center here these,limbs are really cool because they are,black limbs,okay i'm really excited about these,because they look so realistic,these bottles that i created you guys i,made these myself it was super easy,all i did was soak off the labels on,these and then i spray painted all them,to be black because i didn't want them,to,look like wine bottles even that's what,they are so painting them black just,kind of made them look a little bit more,arbitrary,then i added the creepy cloth and some,twine that i had laying around,and for this one i'm actually going to,make it look like something is spilling,out of it so i do have this,glow-in-the-dark slime,that i'm going to use i'm not going to,use it until the day of the party,because i don't want anne to mess with,it,and i don't want any accidents but i'm,going to have it looking like it's,pouring out of this bottle,and then i have this hand here just kind,of on the bottle as though someone just,chopped it off so i got my,meat cleaver right here so i'm just,going to create kind of a creepy,scary kind of deadly scene over here i'm,going to have my lanterns lit it's going,to be so cool,now let me show you guys the family room,follow me,so here in the center coffee table i,just added a tablecloth that i got from,i think party city i don't even remember,then i have a ouija board you know i,could not have,a halloween party without having a ouija,board we probably won't play with it,it's just here for decoration and then i,added some more black candles,another limb and i brought in some more,of the gold candle holders and then you,guys i found this book,on amazon this is so much fun this is,handbook for the recently deceased you,guys may recognize this from the 1980s,beetlejuice movie and actually one of my,friends is supposed to be coming to the,party as beetlejuice so she's gonna,really love seeing this,and then i haven't done much to the bar,i will do more for our party i need to,stock up my wine as you can see,this is the cool thing i wanted to show,you guys i found this welcome to,camp crystal lake frame at the spirit,halloween store and i have a,fun idea for this but you have to watch,my halloween vlog to see,more 80s paraphernalia i got this elm,street,street sign i wanted to serve the drinks,out of some cool,containers so i found these glass jars,on amazon with the cork i added some,twine and these stickers,basically the stickers i ordered from,amazon in a separate purchase but they,are made to look like a little witch's,potion or something so i'm going to make,these drinks,different colors like green red purple,to make them look like different potions,over here by the fireplace my favorite,part i wanted to,incorporate the fireplace without having,to turn it on because i don't want it to,be too hot in here plus i want it to,decorate,inside you can't have the fire going for,that so i went ahead and found some,red string lights on amazon and i popped,those in there so they could look like,fire and be creepy,then i have this guy this is a little,ghoul,right looks like a zombie and the mouth,is actually capable of blowing out fall,it connects to a flock machine but we,probably won't do that for the party i,haven't decided yet and then i got these,two pieces here that look like the,opening of a fence or a gate,so i just have those propped up there,with some spider webs and then i got,some more tombstones up here,and strobe lights one of my favorite,aspects of this,decorating in this room are these little,bats that i got off amazon you guys i,really love these they look like bat,silhouettes and i love the idea of,having them,um position to where it looks like,they're escaping from the fireplace i,think that's really cool,so i have them going up the wall kind of,some of them on the bookshelf unit here,and then they're,up on the ceiling kind of dispersing out,like they're flying,out of the fireplace i think that's just,the coolest thing,this bull hanging on the door it's kind,of tucked into the door jam that's why i,didn't want this door to open from the,other side but i think that's,a really cool addition as well right,watch when i turn the light off this is,what happens,love it,this place is kind of scary for you,all right you guys that's it for my,haunted house halloween decoration tour,i hope you guys did Super Easy Halloween DIY - Haunted House Shaky Bridge

welcome back to the circus guys,today we're going to be doing a diy i,built a moving,walkway for my haunted house with the,intention of giving people this,off-balance creepy just kind of,uncomfortable vibe it's a diy that maybe,took an hour that you can do for your,own home hunt the most expensive thing,out of this whole project was maybe a,couple cans of spray paint make sure to,give me a thumbs up if you want more,diys like this one i do want to,apologize first because a lot of this,was filmed on a cell phone but all,that let's get to what you really want,to see,so one of my neighbors actually had a,bunch of this extra wood from a project,he was working on it wasn't,expensive wood i imagine that you can,get it for literally a couple bucks,what i did is i cut the pieces down to,what i felt was like a walkable plank,size and i have a size 13,shoe so it fits my shoe comfortably i,also got an old dog bed,i pulled the outside off and i took the,foam that was the dog bed mattress,at that point i cut it into strips that,were about,one to one and a half inches shorter on,all sides of the planks,and here you can see me just putting the,wood planks on the foam,to see how it would feel which it's very,uncomfortable but it's walkable i then,cut,notches into the board and painted the,boards with different color blacklight,reflective paint,because this will be used in a section,of my home haunt that is riddled with,black lights,i expect these to glow and really stand,out just to push the confusing factor,onto everybody that's visiting behind,i then got some 3m industrial strength,spray adhesive,and attached the foam mattress pieces to,the bottom of the boards,and here you can see me walking on it to,make sure that none of the boards,touched the ground,it was all absorbed by that phone and i,weigh about,240 maybe 250 on a bad day,and it can hold my weight so it will,definitely hold a trick-or-treaters,weight i then got this reflective rope,from home depot it was pretty cheap and,i did this,over the top over the bottom technique,so each piece was wrapped with rope and,attached to each other so i didn't have,to worry about the planks flipping up or,going anywhere crazy i stapled the,out of them they're nice and secure,and always held together here you can,see one of my daughters walking on the,boards it's definitely holding her,weight,she even gives it a little bounce just,to show that it's definitely absorbing,weight,now because of the nature of it being,shaky i'm actually going to build some,hand rails on the side as well because i,don't want anybody falling,busting their tooth on the,ground then i get sued you know what i,mean and that'll be done really quick,with some pvc and more reflective spray,paint so that's it that's all it takes,this is something you can do,to improve your home hunt and really,bring it up to the next level as always,we're going to be doing our subscriber,shout out and this time it's going to,lenny,lenny is one of those subs that's almost,in our discord every single day he's,hilarious he's a really good guy and,he's from southern california like me so,he's got to be pretty badass,props to you lenny thanks for the,support and as always i appreciate you,if you want to be one of my subscriber,shout outs it's real simple,just subscribe and comment below i read,every single comment on every single,video i appreciate all of you,and as always happy haunts,you

2018 BACKYARD HAUNTED HOUSE WALKTHROUGH #diyhalloween #hauntedhouse #hauntedtrail

hey guys I am back with the 2018 haunted,house or haunted trail I wanted to share,this with you guys I am so sorry I have,been I haven't uploaded anything this,entire month,I opened tomorrow will be opened last,night actually for the first night on,but of course tomorrow's Halloween so,it's our official main opening so I,wanted to give you guys a walkthrough,and still let you guys see it because I,have had a bunch of you asking me I've,just been so busy lately I haven't been,able to film my progress but I want to,let you guys see it so I ordered a,banner this year I designed it and,printed it out um so that's I've been,really happy with that it's worked out,really well,so here people will come up here I have,a um a big light that's up back behind,here and then I have a speaker that's,playing some music for people to hear,down the street here so here I have kind,of like a barn looking kind of set up,something I know right now got like a,cat up there getting after the crow in,here,right now it actually looks hilarious um,I made this dummy in here and there's a,strobe light right there so down from,the road you can actually if you get at,a certain angle you can see him standing,here with the strobe light and it,actually looks really creepy so that's,pretty cool so they come through here,I'm pretty sure I have some extra,cemetary stones I'm gonna put on either,side of these flags and then put a bunch,of caution tape I mean that I should,david tiki torches up so that'll be cool,so they come up here this looks pretty,much like it did last year,this entrance and they will enter in,here let me turn on let me turn on the,lights real quick okay I got the lights,on so they enter in this side and the,moment ooh sorry my camera's giving me,some troubles or something so they'll,come in this part,this is back and in here is kind of like,in a an electrical room and I really,just got a bunch of wires all over the,walls I'm hanging from the ceiling this,is something I'm really proud of I think,it's pretty neat so this is up here like,some pipe and it goes down to right,there and that so that's this PVC pipe,that I spray-painted with metallic paint,to make it look the metal and there is a,scaring chamber on the opposite side of,this wall so this piece of PVC pipe,actually goes down there and fog pumps,through it so fog leaks out of that,which is really cool I'll show you that,in just a second so also right here I,have like this electrical box I still,have to print out a label right here,that says I'm high voltage but in here I,don't know for you experienced hunters,you know this is I bought a em it's,called a flash cracker,so it's an electric firecracker so what,it does is it makes these allowed sparks,it's really loud in it so that's scares,people like a lot and so on the other,side this wall I have electrical,switches that control everything that,happens in this room so what people do,is they walk in here and once they're,all in here the fog is leaking down on,them the person on the up opposite side,this wall they flip on this switch so,this thing starts going and this strobe,light right here it flashes and so while,they do that they simultaneously turn,off the red light so it's kind of like,it short circuits in here the light,turns out and then the whole room goes,black and so that's really neat and then,when that happens the person in the,scaring chamber behind the wall they,there's this door right here they will,use this latch right here and open it up,which I'll show you that but I want to,show you guys this fog here so let me go,switch the fog machine and let you see,it so I thought I'd go ahead and,actually come back in here in the,scaring chamber there's the fog machine,if you see on the opposite side of this,wall,there's the room in there so here I have,all of the switches these some of these,on the bottom control other lighting,parts which you'll see in a little bit,but this switch right here it controls,the red light in there,you can see turning on off there and,then this one when I flip this the flash,cracker in there which let me get the,camera where you can kind of see it,that's it going off right there,so that really scares people here's the,latch that they can flip open this door,the person in here and then so right,here they control the fog machine and it,is still not heated up yet so let me,heat that up okay finally that felt like,forever so pretty much what they do they,flip the switch here bump that a little,bit and if you look there it is coming,out in the room through the two pipes so,let me give her a little puff again in,so it really fills up the room and it,looks really cool so let me jump back in,there so once this is kind of what the,room looks like when they first walk in,so pretty much what happens I've opened,the door as you can see but the light,will go out the flash cracker will scare,them and then once this door opens it's,really dark you can kind of see the blue,tint coming from in here that is because,this is an LED backlight strip across,the ceiling this is they have to kind of,push the door up and themselves and they,come in here and then there's all these,masks on the walls they don't get,jumpscared in here it's just kind of,like a buildup right here is a flying,crane ghost that I built some of you,will know that is so pretty much it's,kind of my own spin on it but,unfortunately I'm coming out here,yesterday morning that getting ready to,open for the first time in my motor,broke so I ordered another one and it's,coming but uh,yeah I have still I'm gonna be repairing,that tonight and getting it working but,um it would lift up so it looks like,it's flying in the end of the hallway so,that's pretty cool and so they come,around this corner here and I kind of,just have some got a strobe light on,these signs here and they'll push back,this door and in here it's kind of like,a surgery military kind of I don't know,this my own kind of take on something it,does look really cool in here at night,so we have the siren light going and,just all the old Hospital stuff,obviously I got a new thing this is an,actual hospital bed it is really awesome,all the hydraulics and everything I,still work I don't really have a use for,that but still it's really cool and then,just here's some other stuff so in this,room when they come in there is a guy,which is actually me I am standing up on,this bed I've got a pretty cool on,costume I'm standing up on the bed right,here I've got this metal pipe and so,when I'm standing up here I'm going to,get up here I'm like right here with my,bar raised and then there's another guy,who's standing right there he's kind of,dressed up in like a military outfit,he's got a leather jacket he's got these,bullets hanging over him a gas mask and,a gun and a hat he's standing right here,so they come in I jumped down right at,him and then bang this much louder than,that and that really gets them and then,while I do that I grab right here which,I'm really happy with has been a good,scare this year this is an air,compressor so right here under this I've,got it covered up just in case it rained,so here's an air compressor let me pump,it up a little bit I'll let you guys see,this so I just got some psi built up in,there so pretty much I've got this and,when you pull on it it just makes that,sound which I go up behind the people,and I kind of do this on the back of,their ears and kind of behind their neck,in that um that sound and that feeling,and then we don't touch people in here,we're not allowed to do that but it does,kind of feel like something's tickling,your neck when that thing goes so that,really scares them so they come around,here open this and then in this hallway,is exactly what it looks like on the,camera it is pitch-black they come in,here and it is just they can't see a,thing you see the light down there at,the end of the hallway there is actually,a bunch of curves like back and forth as,they walk down here do they have to feel,their way all the way through this,this is totally dark in here I'll have,to fix that to the roof kind of fell in,and so that's the people that went on a,last night that really scared them,because you can't see it all nobody's,gonna jump out in this part but um it,still gets them so they come through,here we come around this corner and we,have the traditional doll room set up so,we come in here and this is this light,is red but uh we have the baby doll here,in the other side of this wall is this,another scaring chamber that post right,there sticking out of the wall an actor,can pull on that and make it look like,the baby is trying to pull out of the,cage and then right here we have our um,drop panel as a normal so somebody's,back there there's a little peek hole,where they can see so they get,jumpscared right there and then they'll,come around this corner we're gonna have,somebody directly there and they will,follow the person through this curvy set,of hallways here here's the jumping,spider,I'll have that set up so in here it's,got strobe lights and they the person is,just staying right behind it and,following them kind of like what we did,if you go watch the Halloween night 2016,video at the very end of it there's that,white hallway where the guys following,you that's kind of what we're doing in,here so then they come out here,and we're going outside,I'm sewing this part we still got a lot,of stuff set up but we got all this,signs and everything and they come,around here we have this piece of PVC,pipe that's going right to see it right,there I'm going in and that we have a,fog machine on a timer so there's like,all this fog in this area and it's,really neat so they go in this little,shed in here I have got a bunch of,there's a flickering light bulb I've got,a bunch of antiques just all kinds of,old bottles and stuff like that it's,kind of dark in here but um signs and,hubcaps and just a bunch of things so,then they'll come out here kind of come,in here it's kind of like a house or,something we have these floating candles,they actually um they light up and this,TV will also be on it has like a you,know static it'll just be doing that and,they come around this corner right here,at this table we have an old radio,that's there and it's um playing like,Hank Williams music so that's a really,cool we have a floating phone there as,well and there'll be a person there,hopefully if I if I can get somebody,there so they come out here we've had to,move these lights so just the rain,wouldn't affect them but we've got to,strobe lights facing out in the woods,here so you can see the body hanging and,stuff and they walk by this area which,is lit up by this light and right here,as they come to you about this point,yeah there's a chainsaw guy he is gonna,chase them down this area and so they,will run down here and he'll chase them,out of the woods and so then we walk,back,of this stretch we got this area which I,really like um it's kind of a new a new,thing I've worked on on this year so,they have to come in this is the,ceilings low like I'm having to crouch,right now and they have all these,curtains they have to go through get a,strobe light there and this whole area,is just totally filled with fog there is,the scaring chamber I was talking about,so that's the drop panel mechanism right,there and so we have a fog machine that,pumps fog in here and then we have an,actor that like grabs onto these bars,and gives you a good scare while you're,in here come out this way and we have a,strobe light there that kind of goes,down this area and so have all this he,is on a zip line that goes from right,there up to the tree and so he also,controlled by the person in the scaring,chamber on the opposite side of this,wall they can pull the table and he just,glides down it comes down farther than,that but with the strobe light going,which is at a really slow pace it looks,like he's teleporting at you and it's,pretty cool we're gonna have a scarecrow,guy he's standing right there um kind of,in the corn yeah I just got all this,corn and stapled it on there so then,they go this way well maybe how no so,they come in here we have another strobe,light in here and so they'll come in,this area and then I know that they'll,get jumpscared here somebody will pull,back this curtain so here's a good view,of the scaring chamber this is the thing,that controls the baby,there's the dropping panel this controls,the whatever the zip line there a pulley,there and up there at the tree,and then there's where they do the fog,so then the people will come through,here this is kind of our finale section,all this is glowing under a blacklight,we have these arches still doesn't even,look I mean it looks pretty lame on the,on the camera but we have a bunch of,balloons on the ground as well pretty,dark right now so as they come in here,we have a clown music playing kind of,like something kind of like that um and,it is really dark in here you guys,really can't see but kind of right here,let me brighten up my camera I didn't,really do anything at all whatever,that's fine there's like it says tickets,you got like a ticket booth kind of,thing and we have a clown which is,actually me I'm pretending I pretend to,look like a fake person I ring the bell,once they get about right here and I,jump out at them and give them a good,scare and then they come in here I turn,this black light so this black light in,here makes some stuff glow it's it's,really dark in here right now but as you,can see kind of vaguely we have these,streamers and party flags hanging from,the ceiling this is just kind of a large,expanse of room right up there let's,cover with a bag right now but that's,our laser light you've seen it previous,years and there's it's kind of go on the,ground right there but it it goes in,this direction in this entire room and,we fill it with fog so you have all,these laser beams going and it's really,awesome these props move around like,this guy right here he looks some man,you can't even see him at all that's,fine though he looks like an actual,clown standing there there's his hands,but uh suggest you guys turn up your,computer brightness or your phone,brightness when you're in this room when,you're watching this video so we have,two guys in here one of them's me the,other ones and just another guy that,looks like a scary clown he's got like a,like a teddy bear mask kind of thing and,this is actually on the other side of,this wall that's the area with the fog,machine that controls all the stuff that,I showed you previously,so pretty much in here the two clowns me,and another guy we are just getting up,in their faces and I have a black we pop,a balloon behind him and just kind of,scream out and and totally freak him out,and then they have to kind of figure out,how to get out which is right here and,they walk out of the gate and that is,the entire 2018 haunted house for you,guys to see it will exit this way and,come out that area just as normal but I,still have some things I'm gonna be,adding but uh that is pretty much what,we have how of course I'll give you a,Halloween night walkthrough I want to,apologize again guys for not giving you,all these updates while I was building,I've just been so busy with work in,school I've just been finding whatever,time I can work on it um but I hope you,guys enjoy please subscribe you know,leave any Turning my House into a HAUNTED HOUSE! DIY Halloween Decorations & Props

hey guys what's up it's Raven I'm,transforming my whole house into a,haunted house for Halloween I'm making a,bunch of DIY props and styling some,store-bought Decor to really set the,scene for this haunted house party that,I'm throwing later on in the month and,I'm decorating the outside of my house,so I can set the vibe for the,trick-or-treaters when they come on,Halloween night so if you want to see,how I pull everything together just keep,on watching,if you haven't seen part one definitely,go watch it I'll have it linked in the,description everything I show in that,video a haul of all types of decorations,and DIY supplies that I bought and just,kind of set the scene for what I'm,planning on doing so far I have made a,little bit of progress with setting up a,few of the store-bought decorations,around my house but I still have more,stuff to set up and a lot more DIYs to,make so that's what I'm going to show,you in this video,for these eyeballs that I also just got,from Walmart I got them to go in this,jar because I have like this little,setup going here but this needs,something spooky inside of it the,problem is the way that they're weighted,it like wants to be facing down which is,annoying I want you to be able to see,the iris okay the next thing I want to,go ahead and put into place are these,leading tapered candles I think I'm just,gonna put them and these candle holders,which are actually like real pieces of,Decor from my real house but they just,happen to go with the theme but in order,to give it the bleeding look I need to,light them and let them start melting a,little bit I also almost forgot that I,also have these candle holders that I,got from the Dollar Tree for a dollar 25,each so I put them in here for now,because I don't want to get red wax,dripping on my nice candlestick holders,over there I'm letting them melt in the,Dollar Tree ones for now you can see,that it's white on the outside but red,on the inside so when it drips it gives,it a drippy blood effect very vampire so,I'm gonna just like let these drip for a,little bit so it can have that used,drippy look and then I'll just like set,them out for decor and I probably will,never ever light them again okay so here,is my jar of eyeballs I had to really,like shove them in there so I'm wearing,even use a little piece of tape to like,arrange them how I wanted them and then,here are my bloody candles after letting,them melt for a little bit nice little,spooky display deciding what I'm gonna,do with that in the meanwhile I got this,pack of fake wooden boards from Walmart,for like three or four dollars and I,want to board up a window of my door I,think putting it on the outside I wish,they were double-sided they really,dropped the ball with that one because,then it could show from both sides of,the glass but I think putting it on the,outside makes the most sense you know,because if you were boarding up some,windows you would do it from the outside,so let's see I mean it doesn't really,make a lot of sense because it's like,what are you boarding up what are you,doing in reality what would be the,meaning of this but I think it looks,spooky a little boarded up window moment,you know then I have this which is also,from Walmart I was gonna like put a,little command hook and hang this maybe,on the outside I don't really have,another good place because it's a,welcome sign so you want to be welcomed,into the home but I don't really have,like another good place to hang it,besides the front door I don't want to,hang it outside the front door I'm gonna,take some of this,this is from Walmart they also had it at,Target and like everywhere else,creepy drape for this lamp I slightly,rearranged this stuff I'm gonna end up,draping a bunch of this stuff everywhere,I still want my house to be functional,in the meantime so I'm not putting up,too many things just yet I'm gonna put,up more decorations like just for the,party but there are a few things that I,can definitely do right now I really,want to switch these out for just like,some black sticks like if I could find,some dead branches and spray paint them,black and just have some little tall,branches coming out of here that would,be perfect I don't have trees so I don't,have any dead branches in my own yard I,even tried to just like buy some fake,ones in the store I couldn't find what I,was looking for I'll keep looking but I,really want to put some different like,Dead spookier haunted like this is,looking too normal so I need to replace,these and I don't really tie this whole,little vignette together then we have,this other vignette over here I moved,these two objects over here because I,felt like I needed to like spread out my,crops around the house so I think I'm,going to end up using these over here,okay I have these gold candle holders,that again are just normal regular,everyday home decor that I already had,and these regular candlesticks but I,think they do really go with the spooky,Vibe actually okay we're getting,somewhere it's it's giving vampires okay,so I have an extra empty one of these,like little cookie jars from my pantry,and I saw something kind of like this on,Pinterest and I've gotten all these like,skulls and stuff from the Dollar Tree I,don't have any little like a bunch of,small skulls would be good for this it,looks like he's like in distress I can,even put like some yucky looking water,in it to make it really look like a,specimen jar,foreign,I really want to dive into the DIYs,today and try to knock out as much of,that as I can but first I still have not,made or sent out official invitations,for this party and it is October 6th I,like to send out invitations with plenty,of time you know in advance because I,have friends who come from out of town,they need to make travel plans and,babysitting plans and all types of plans,so if I want people to be able to show,up I've got to give them a good heads up,so I really need to send all these,invitations like today I haven't even,started on them the past two years for,my Halloween party I've used Cameo to,hire certain people to make like little,videos to go with the digital,invitations first year was the 2000s,party so I had Soulja Boy second year it,was a movie themed Hollywood party so I,had Kel from Keenan and Kel this year,it's a haunted house theme so I looked,on Cameo to see if there was any like I,don't know actors who have played,vampires or something that would go with,the Haunted House theme I'm not really,finding anything so I don't think I'm,gonna be doing the celebrity invite this,year here just because it doesn't really,like go with the themes like in anything,I would want somebody to be like dressed,up like a vampire dressed up like a,zombie or something and make a little,video but like I don't know I just feel,like that's not really the mood this,year so what I am thinking though is I,can record my voice and then I can go in,on the editing software and change my,voice to sound like a monster voice I,want to try it and then I can use that,as like for the invitation video you're,invited to Raven's haunted house party,and then if I put a voice effect on it,your body to read this haunted house,party,funny I think I might use that I think I,might use it I'm gonna like say all the,information for the party and like make,a little video and a little graphic on,canva to go with it I always use canva,to make custom graphics and invitations,and stuff and then I use Evite as like,the actual link where you click through,and rsvpd and say how many people are,coming with you so I can keep track of,like how many people Evite is really,good to like keep the guest list,organized and keep track of who's coming,but I always like to make a special,little video or graphic just to make it,cool so let me do that and I'm gonna,show you okay I just finished the,recording I downloaded like spooky scary,background noises and stuff look listen,to it I'm very proud of this,foreign,ERS unless of course you don't want them,anymore,oh I am so proud of myself I just put,that together in like 20 minutes the all,the Talking part is my voice with you,know the voice change the little boo and,the laugh I actually found that like,downloaded it and it just so happened to,like sound the same as my voice so it,all goes together then I added like,thunder and lightning scary ambient,noise the little witches cackle the,children screaming because I was like,ladies bring your witches get it fellas,bring your foes witches and foes you get,it I said no little trick-or-treaters no,kids this is an adult party unless of,course you don't want your kids anymore,because the scary monsters can eat them,for you you get it okay so now I've,gotta make like the graphic that goes,with it and that will be like playing in,the background so canva has a bunch of,if you just do an invitation template,and then you search on their template,for whatever you want whether it be,beach pool Halloween haunted house,vampire they have a lot of like pre-made,things where you could just go in and,change the text to whatever you needed,to say boom there you go I tend to like,to customize it so I might take details,from a few of these different ones on,here and then kind of mix and match and,combine them together and add my own,little custom details to just make it my,own so I definitely want like the,haunted house element in the background,I think I might change this font here,because it's not as you know scary it,looks a little bit more childish so I,might take a font off of this other one,and maybe take some of these other,details and like drag it onto this one,just to kind of combine it same thing,with this one and then kind of change,the colors so let's see what I come up,with okay I just finished the invitation,video I'm gonna play it for you now,I regret to inform you that you are,officially invited to Raven's haunted,house party put together your creepiest,costume and join us if you dare for a,scary good time ladies bring your,witches fellas bring your foes this,Gathering will have plenty of booze so,please no little trick-or-treaters,unless of course you don't want them,anymore,so now I'm going to send that video out,to all of my guests along with the,Pinterest link to this board that I,created with costume ideas I want,everybody to dress up in you know scary,spooky type costumes to go with the,theme I mean they can wear whatever they,want honestly but I think it would be,cool if everybody specifically chose,more spookier type costumes so I put,together a Pinterest board of all these,different costume ideas for guys girls,singles couples some that are just like,quick easy DIYs some that are more,detailed some that are like not as scary,for people who are not into that but,like still go with the theme I just,wanted people to have options so I'm,actually going to make sure that I check,and see if there's like any more ideas,that I want to add all right so for the,giant candlesticks these are the basic,materials and so this is going to be the,tray I'm doing too,okay so now I'm just going to trim and,arrange these as needed to be the,candles on the tray I'm just going to,attach them with hot glue,so this is the general idea a bunch of,giant candles on a tray now to make them,look like they've been melted I'm going,to use hot glue to add the drippy,texture I also have a caulking gun left,over from our previous project that can,give that goopy look and I thought it,might be better to use some of this,instead of trying to use so much hot,glue,so I have all of my hot glue drips,really thick drips going around the rim,and then some drips dripping all the way,down on all of them and then the,caulking going around the edge of this,one I ran out of coffee to get some more,to finish this one that's kind of the,main idea to make it look drippy and,used and waxy and creepy I'm gonna paint,the whole thing black like the plate,everything black but I just wanted to,show you to make it look like it's a,real candle Dollar Tree has these little,LED tea lights but they also have the,stick version and most people use these,and just kind of like sit them on top,but that doesn't look very realistic to,me because it's like you've got this,whole little circle part just like,poking out and the hole on the inside of,the noodle is not big enough to shove it,in there but these ones fit in there so,so they make it look like The Candle is,lit now obviously this is too tall for,like these little short ones can't use,that so I'm just kind of experimenting,with how I can like the light up part,honestly I don't need every single,candle to be lit to give the effect some,of the candles can just be not lit,honestly you can do this and just have,it as a decoration without any of them,being lit because they're just like,melted used candles they don't have to,necessarily be lit those are kind of,like two options to make them light up,you could of course put real candles in,there as well and light them but that's,definitely a fire hazard this is plastic,the hot glue is going to melt I would,not recommend that unless you're just,gonna do it quickly for like a picture,or something but definitely something,like this,foreign,or whatever I had an idea or I kind of,saw it on Pinterest I may not lie I,thought if I take these plastic skulls,and these plastic bowls maybe I could,make a little thingy like the thing,you're seeing on the screen now,oh,okay for the top this bowl actually fits,on the head like a little hat or like,you know the little lace veil and then,that helps me balance the top one on it,okay,slay so you can see like this is more,balanced with the bottom one so it's,overall more balanced purr,once again paint the whole thing black,okay so Zaya helped me add some arousal,Dazzle to the border of the plate some,spiders and gems just for some fun so,here's pretty much the finished product,and the other matching one over here and,then like I said I will figure out how I,want to make them light up depending on,which Dollar Tree lights I want to use,and stuff like that or I might just not,have them light up because I mean,they're cute as is I have them here on,the table for now and then I also,included my little candle holder I put a,candle in there turned out pretty cool,if I do say so myself it's very,lightweight plastic from the Dollar Tree,but it looks like a real thing so I just,put all that together as like a big long,tablescape for now now for my next,project I'm gonna make these paper bats,I bought some glitter cardstock paper,this chunkier glitter that's like really,reflective this finer glitter that's,also so pretty reflective but just in a,different way then I also have just,plain black cardstock paper and I'm,going to use my handy dandy Cricut to,cut out the shapes for me the first time,I did this I did not have my own Cricut,Machine and I just drew the shape and,cut it out with scissors which is,totally doable but I want to make a lot,of these so the Cricut cutting them for,me is really going to come in handy so,on the Cricut software I just searched,bat they have tons of stuff you can use,just already on here and there's like,different little versions so I'm,actually going to do like a few,different ones just to have variety and,see how many I can cut out with like a,few sheets of paper so here's all my,little bat shapes I'm doing slightly,different sizing as well because I just,want like a variety okay first test cut,cute it's so cute I'm gonna make a whole,bunch of these okay so I'm gonna get,started with some of these glitter bats,that I cut out I'm still gonna cut out,more and just do some with regular paper,but I'm gonna start with these I have,these little sticky glue dots they're,like balloon dots double-sided sticky,things you can also use double sided,tape whatever is not going to damage the,surface and I want to make it look like,the bats are like flying out of the,fireplace and like maybe circling around,the TV or something so I'm gonna start,like placing a few,so we've got some going on just plain,black cardstock paper different sizes,different styles this is working really,well the only thing that did not work,was this thicker chunkier glitter paper,I could have probably made it work but I,just messed it up and now that I messed,up the paper like I'm just kind of over,it so I'm just not gonna use this paper,for this just sticking to the thinner,finer glitter which worked out really,well and then the plain so I'm just,putting one little sticky dot on the,back of each one it's just paper so it,doesn't need anything crazy and I want,it to be easy to take off later as well,foreign,here are my bats flying out of my,fireplace I think you turned out super,cute this little thing with it some of,them are glittery some of them are not,cute I'm doing the burning bones to go,in the fire pit because I'm using the,lid to the fire pit to trace out the,sides we like the pile to fit inside the,fire pit,thank you,okay now this is dry I'm going in with,some red first,then black,okay now that the paint is dry I'm gonna,cut it out it's stuck to the cardboard,so I need to cut it out I can't like,peel it off,foreign,nervous that the lights are not going to,show through oh my God it looks perfect,I was not expecting it to look that good,it actually looks like what it's,supposed to look like that's so cool and,it's gonna be dimly lit it's gonna be a,nighttime party so it'll be like dark,around it which will make it look even,better I love that that's so cool,God okay cool,okay so here is what this big spider web,is looking like over my front door I,only had to use a few Hooks and I,actually ended up sticking really well,so that worked out I was struggling with,it I think it was last year I tried to,do this and I couldn't figure out what,would stick to this textured wall but I,found a certain type of adhesive that,works put some different spiders in,there I took the light bulb out of that,main light right there because I want to,see if I can get like a spooky light,bulb to replace it with so we'll see,about that so I found these red light,bulbs at Home Depot I got two of them,let's see if they work okay obviously,it's middle of the day but I think it'll,look really spooky at night we'll have,to test it out and then I got a second,one for this lamp on the console table,just to you know add some Ambience to,this overall spooky setup okay so I want,to give y'all a tour of what all the,decorations are looking like as of now,so I have my Cemetery with some zombie,hands poke it out of some of the graves,these ones are glow in the dark so I,have these here a little skull fence,going across the cemetery then we have,the bones family the skeleton family,this is supposed to represent me bougie,and Zaya I have a hula hoop I was,standing up at first but I kept falling,over so I'm sitting down now and Zaya is,riding the tricycle I use zip ties to,hold it in place so it wouldn't like,blow over in the wind and then the next,thing you see is the front gate which I,added some Razzle Dazzle to the top I,added these fats which are with magnets,and then I added this little chain to,make it look like it's like locked up,and spooky then you see these signs and,the plants I have my lanterns which have,strobe lights inside the lanterns which,I can turn on at night to make a cool,lighting effect and then I have these,little black pumpkins I left the,lanterns dirty and dusty just how they,work because I feel like dirty and dusty,looks more haunted normally I would,clean them before I put them out I feel,like the dirt works so we're gonna leave,it dirty I put up The Spar webbing here,with all different types of spiders I,have my little fake wooden boards on the,glass and then I added these little,spooky light bulbs which I might change,that because it doesn't make a whole lot,of sense it's like why do you have light,bulbs hanging on your door like what is,the meaning but they are sound activated,so they will make that sound and flicker,the light whenever activated by sound so,any loud sound will make it do that as,well as my little sound activated,tarantula that I hung above the door,it's also sound activated but it takes,like you have to clap your hands or yell,really loud or slam the door or,something to activate both of those,things,so it just falls down it doesn't fall,down that much but it's enough for you,to notice and maybe be creeped out a,little bit I didn't want it to fall too,low and like smack somebody in the head,or anything and then it just winds,itself back up it takes a while to wind,up I wish it the string was longer and I,wish it wound itself back up faster but,hey we all work with what we got and,then the last thing that I added here is,the red light bulb which looks really,spooky at night it just makes this whole,area have that red spooky lighting to it,and then mixed in with the strobe lights,here it gives a nice spooky effect I'll,show you guys that on the night of the,party then we have this little setup,here with the blood splatter I added,some spider webbing to the top of the,mirror and some little spiders I have,gray spooky fabric here I ended up kind,of switching that out because I thought,it contrasted better candlesticks spider,these little things a little spooky bowl,with some eyeballs and a rat then we,have the stairs I added some of the,black tattered fabric to the stair,railing I still want to add more stuff,to the stair railing like more spider,webs and stuff but it's kind of,Impractical to have it up for everyday,use because people obviously need to,like use the stair railing and it'll,just get messed up so I'm gonna put more,stuff on there for the actual night of,the party and then we have this table,which has spider webs the tattered,fabric some bugs a bird skeleton I ended,up putting this little sign here welcome,to the afterlife spider webs on this,spot with some spiders then on this,painting I added spider webs on top,spiders I was trying to put spiderwebs,on all of the like tops of everything,because I feel like realistically that's,where it would be then walking into the,living room I have my spider web table,runner on the coffee table which is from,Amazon a little spider a little skull I,attached This Bat to the fan and so the,bat is like flying in the middle of the,living room I think this looks really,cute and from this perspective when,you're sitting on the couch watching TV,This Bat kind of like goes in line with,these bats which is kind of a cool,effect then we have some tattered fabric,here some more spiderweb and spiders,here on the top of this painting I,definitely plan on adding a lot more,stuff to this glass here but that's,going to be more so like just for the,night of the party so I'm waiting on,that I added spider webs to these lights,and then over here on the dining table I,added the tattered fabric to all of the,chairs just because I had a lot of it,left over added a black table runner I,have my DIY jumbo candlesticks here with,this beautiful border that ziya put on,here and then I added some extra bugs,and I have my little Dollar Tree,candlesticks that will make it light up,and then my Dollar Tree skull candle,holder Tower thing and there is spider,webbing all over this life texture as,well with a big fuzzy spider hanging,down and then there's a few little,Easter eggs elsewhere I added this guy,popping out of this plant I added this,spider on the fruit basket I have this,little like specimen jar which I think I,want to like put like green water in,here and maybe put some little eyeballs,in here and just make it extra spooky,and maybe make a few more of them,because I have some more extra glass,jars like this oh I do have a few extra,little random things I had these things,which I just hung on my office door,because I didn't know where else to put,them right now and then I have these,ones in this bathroom which I have more,that I want to add in here like more of,those types of things and then I was,playing around with this other set of,stickers which I figured out do not look,very realistic on glass like on a mirror,or on a window it shows the Border a lot,so it doesn't look realistic but it,looks a lot more realistic on something,like this like a solid color thing like,not clear glass so I just ended up,putting that one there so I have a whole,pack of these that I'm gonna put all,over the house but I don't want to put,them now because that's more like,actually scary and realistic and just,for the party I don't want to have it up,all the time and like freak ziya out but,for now I put them in here where she,doesn't ever come in here so it's fine,okay so I'm working on the wine bottle,candle DIY my mom gave me these wine,bottles and if they're like different,colors or if they're just clear to make,them look more spooky you could just,spray paint them black I don't think I'm,gonna end up needing these extra ones,I'm just gonna use these darker tinted,ones and I think I'm just gonna leave,them how they are I don't feel like I,need to spray paint them but I am just,removing the labels this one I already,removed and I'm just using the blow,dryer technique so put your blow dryer,on high heat and it'll melt the adhesive,behind the sticker so you can peel it,off really clean,and then just get something to get it,going on the corner if it's not coming,up clean you need to put more Heat,usually I can get it off in one piece,this one was being a little difficult,but you can just heat up these extra,spots and scrape them off I also have,these smaller olive oil bottles which,have the labels printed directly on the,glass there's probably a way that I,could get that off maybe with like,acetone or something but I think I am,going to go ahead and just spray paint,these black to just cover that up easier,remember,then I'm just going to place the bottles,on a baking sheet with some wax paper,this is so that when I let the wax melt,it can fall onto here and then I'm,taking these red unscented candles from,the Dollar Tree you get two for a dollar,25 I thought red would look nice and,spooky they're unscented so it won't be,like overwhelming when I light these,oh,okay so what I've learned from this DIY,after letting the candles melt for a,couple hours is that if you want a lot,of wax build up on the bottle you're,gonna have to melt like a whole first,candle just to get the wax buildup then,put a second candle for the actual,candle because just from this one candle,melting halfway it didn't give that much,drippage but I don't have any more,candles maybe I'll go back and get more,candles to make it more drippy but this,is the effect you're gonna get just from,one candle I think they still look cool,they still look spooky and when their,mixed into everything else it'll look,fine but just a little heads up it takes,a lot of candles to get that much wax,buildup it is October 10th and so there,are still 19 days until my Halloween,party and then a couple of more days,after that until actual Halloween when,the trick-or-treaters and stuff come so,we still have quite a while so that's,why why I keep saying like there's,certain things I don't want to put up,just yet because in the meantime you,know ziya still has to live in this,house and not be scared of her own house,I still have people coming in and out of,my house that like I don't want to freak,them out and I don't want them to be,like what the hell so I'm saving a lot,of stuff just for the night of the party,and I'm just kind of like you know,trickling it out you know in the,meantime oh there's one other thing that,I didn't show you guys well I guess I,did show you guys earlier but my little,fire pit burning bones I ended up,putting it right there on the coffee,table because I think I am going to,incorporate the patio as part of the,like party area and then I still have,all of this DIY supply of mess left out,because I'm still working on more DIYs I,have a few main DIYs that I still want,to do I really want to do this DIY which,is a life-size spooky grandfather clock,wish me luck but I've started to collect,materials and recycle boxes and stuff,for that it's like all made out of like,cardboard and styrofoam and just,recycled materials so we'll see and then,I want to do this DIY which uses,balloons and a white yarn and a little,plastic spider so I have all the stuff,for that as well to make the spider egg,nests whatever you call it and then the,last main one that I want to do is this,DIY where you take a bunch of recycled,materials and you wrap it in black trash,bags with duct tape to make it look like,it's a dead body wrapped up but that one,I'm definitely saving only for the night,of the party because I can't be having a,dead body prop just lying around my,house in the meantime till then like I,do not want anybody to call the police,to my house and then other than that I,just still have a lot more of this,spider webbing stuff and little plastic,spiders that I can just kind of put like,I said I want to put some on the stairs,up on the balcony just hang it from,everywhere and then that'll pretty much,be the finished look hopefully I can get,all that stuff done just you know for,the party at least so yeah definitely,stay tuned for my next few Vlogs I'm,going to be showing everything about me,and ziya's costumes I'm doing a vampire,costume and very princess costume and,then of course I'm going to show you,like the rest of the DIYs and how,everything else turns out with the,decorations and then I still have to,show you everything for the actual party,as far as the Halloween themed food and,drinks and everything so I'm gonna Planning Another EPIC Halloween Party! (Haunted House Theme)

hey guys what's up it's Raven I am,planning two Halloween parties this year,one that's gonna be more cutesy and kid,friendly you know for the kids but,another one that's going to be a scary,creepy haunted house party for my,friends and I so I wanted to take you,guys along for the process of planning,these parties all of the prep the,Pinterest inspo the shopping the DIYs,that I plan on doing the food and drinks,everything like that especially for the,haunted house themed party because if,you know me I am a self-proclaimed,themed Queen I have been throwing a lot,of themed parties recently I've had two,Halloween parties in the past and I like,to go all out when it comes to the,details so for this haunted house party,I am going to be transforming my whole,house into a haunted house so if you,want to see how I pull it off just keep,on watching,so step one of party creating is,shopping of course I mean besides the,general plan you gotta go shopping and,get all the things I already showed you,guys some of the shopping at the first,initial stores that I went to in a,previous Vlog so check that out if you,haven't seen that I went to Walmart,Target Michael's at home but I did not,go to Hobby Lobby or the Dollar Tree so,that's where I'm going now starting with,Hobby Lobby they always have a lot of,seasonal stuff obviously and stuff for,DIYs I do have like a mental list of,certain types of decorations that I want,certain DIYs that I want to do like a,vague mental list but I kind of like to,just go to the stores see what they even,have get inspired by that and then kind,of like go from there y'all as soon as I,walked into Hobby Lobby I realized slash,remembered that I don't think Hobby,Lobby believes in Halloween I don't,think that aligns with their religious,views because they definitely got,pumpkins and turkeys for fall for,Thanksgiving but they didn't not have a,single skeleton ghost witch nothing,Halloween related every other store,already has their Halloween stuff out so,I'm pretty sure Hobby Lobby doesn't,believe in Halloween you learn something,new every day anyway I'm at Dollar Tree,now again I just want to see what they,have if anything I want to start getting,like little stuff for the kids so let's,see so right off the bat Dollar Tree,definitely has cute Halloween stuff,foreign,where Hobby Lobby lacked Dollar Tree,packed I literally was trying to Vlog in,there but then I was like wait hold on,let me put the camera down because,there's a lot of stuff in here that I,want to grab I'm gonna do a little bit,of a haul don't look at my hair don't,look at me okay so I definitely found,stuff for both the kids party and the,grown-up party I found a lot of good,stuff Dollar Tree always comes in clutch,can I just say that don't shoot Walmart,and at home during the holidays those,are like my three favorite places aside,from just like ordering things from,Amazon online which I still haven't even,looked online for anything this is just,like my first round of stuff let's just,go through so for the kids party it's,going to be four children Zaya Malachi,Alaya and Levi that's our little,tradition I just always get Sadie and,Taylor and the kids together so I always,just get stuff for four kids so from,Dollar Tree I got these for Halloween,buckets bigger buckets for bigger gift,baskets this time last year I did like,little smaller little goodie bags but,this year I just wanted to do something,a little bit bigger and cooler since the,kids are getting bigger so each kid will,get a different bucket and then to fill,the buckets I got some stuff so I got,four different little kids sippy cup so,we had like a Frankenstein a skull a,Jack-o-Lantern and a vampire I also got,these little stretchy gummy toy candy,filled orb so it's like a little toy but,it has candy inside and I got four,different ones one for each bucket I,also got a pack of glow-in-the-dark,vampire teeth this is way more than I,need but I'll put like one set of teeth,in each bucket then I got this pack of,Halloween necklaces perfect because it,came forward to a pack so I'll break,that into each bucket I got a pack of,these little Halloween spin top things I,got four sets of Halloween stickers all,different ones I got this this little,game thing I also got these little cup,Bowl things I'm sure these will come in,handy for one of the snacks that I serve,at the kids party as well as these cute,little candy trays a purple one an,orange one and a black one I'll use,these to serve snacks at the party I,always like to do something for the moms,as well last year I got some little,plastic wine glasses like this this year,the wine glasses say feeling pumped so I,got three for us three moms and then,I'll probably try to find something like,extra to like stick inside the wine,glass as a little mommy goodie bag these,little spiderweb bowls in Black they,were just in a different part of the,store not sure what I'm gonna use these,for because the holes are pretty big,like even if I try to put chips in here,like the crumbs are gonna fall through,so I'll have to see like maybe I'll use,it to just hold like candies or bigger,things I don't know but got two of those,these can be used at the kids party but,also I feel like I can use it at the,haunted house party too because it's,like not too cutesy looking also for the,kids party I got the these cute little,pumpkin skewers so I'm gonna serve some,sort of snack with these skewers and I,got a set of glitter bats and last thing,these little LED tea light candles are,good to put inside of your,jack-o-lantern after you're done carving,it to make it light up on the inside so,I got four of those one for each kid and,then for the haunted house party I,actually did find a lot of good stuff,first thing I was really excited to find,were these little syringes I saw these,used a lot with the spooky Cocktails so,like filling it up with some sort of red,liquid like grenadine syrup and then you,squirt the liquid into your drink to,make it look like you're putting blood,in your drink so I got a bunch of these,to use for some sort of cocktail bloody,cocktail type thing I also found these,napkins which really went with the,haunted spooky theme so these are the,napkins for the haunted house party then,I found these plastic glasses with the,black skeleton and hands going around,them some with stems I cleared the whole,store out of the black ones with these I,was able to get five of them with stems,and three of them without stems I'm,gonna be going to a different Dollar,Tree location at some point to see if,they have more because I would like to,have at least I would say at least 12 of,these because I think I might use these,with these and I have 12 of these I know,I'm not going to be able to get enough,for everyone at the party because I'm,probably gonna expect to have 20 to 30,people at the party I doubt I'm going to,be able to procure 20 to 30 of these,cups but I'm gonna see how many I can,get by checking other locations I know,you can also order stuff online Dollar,Tree online is only bulk orders they,make you order like a hundred of each,item in order to order it I'll check but,usually it's a pretty big minimum like,too many than I need so I don't know,we'll see I also found these little,plastic eyeballs they're kind of like,just like little beer pong balls almost,they look like eyeballs I also saw these,used with cocktails or punch bowls if,you have a big bowl of punch and you,have just like little eyeballs floating,in the punch so I thought that would be,cute for a drink at the haunted house,party then I got two sets of these,skeleton hand like serving spoons like,tongs basically you're supposed to use,it as like tongs to pick up the food so,this will be perfect for the food layout,at the haunted house party I also got,this little Skeleton Man because I saw,where somebody did like a charcuterie,board and it had a skeleton laying on,the board and it kind of looks like all,the meat and cheese was like his guts,sit him in some food lay him with some,food something like that I got three of,these skulls this is just to kind of sit,around as extra decoration as well as,this sign that says beware as well as,all these big spiders got two bigger,ones and then two slightly smaller ones,I got these little danger beware keep,out signs I can stick these in the two,plants that are on either side of my,front door like stick them in the plant,pots that'll be cute I got these little,metal candle stick holders which are,actually kind of like this could be this,could be on a regular day I'm lucky,because if I buy simple black stuff I,can't use it around my house because I,have a lot of black decor around my,house so some of the stuff I might use,after Halloween but I have two spooky,candlesticks that I need a holders for,so this worked out perfectly I got some,caution tape and then I got a bunch of,black tablecloths I might use them as,tablecloths to cover up some of my,surfaces but I also feel like I might,use them as like curtains almost like,have it covering some of my windows or,doors or some kind of way like hanging,up to just give it more of that black,spooky Vibe around my house because my,house is so white trying to turn a White,House into a haunted house you really,need to incorporate more black so I,thought this might come in handy in some,kind of way we'll see just got a pack of,black silverware to have for the party,yeah that's pretty much it for Dollar,Tree this is all only from Dollar Tree,just now so here's a little Overlook of,everything that I just got at Dollar,Tree just now I got a bunch of stuff you,guys that really came in clutch and like,I said I'm gonna be going to another,Dollar Tree location because I know this,is not even everything that I could have,gotten I'm just going to kind of,consolidate this stuff for now and kind,of keep two separate piles one for the,kids party and one for the haunted house,party also while we're here let's go,ahead and do a Walmart Michael's and,Target haul because I never showed you,this stuff that I got a few days ago,like I said I feel like I always hit the,jackpot at Walmart as well as Dollar,Tree so first thing are these bleeding,candlesticks so essentially they look,white but when you light them and they,start dripping they start dripping red,so it looks like they're bleeding so I,have two of these which is why I got,those two candlestick holders from,Dollar Tree to put these in then I also,got some little spooky Decor pieces this,little hand that's kind of like Palm,readers astrology type hand again this,is cute like I'm gonna put this in my,office to just have after Halloween,because like I have a lot of these types,of things in my office and then I also,got this light up crystal ball this kind,of goes together and then also this,little glass jar with a bat on top I,don't really like this little label that,came on it so I was planning on taking,that off I need to remove it properly,but I'm gonna peel that sticker off and,just have this I could put some of those,little eyeballs in here and make it look,like I just have like a jar of eyeballs,sitting out some fuzzy spiders these,ones are more gray the ones from Dollar,Tree were Brown and then spider web this,stuff goes a long way as far as just,like overall making your place look,spooky you just like stretch it out and,the more you stretch it the more stringy,it gets and you could just like drape it,over stuff I've used it before in,previous years I have some left over,from previous years but I just got a lot,extra because I'm planning on like doing,this whole general area of my house so I,knew I was gonna need a lot of spider,web as well as stuff like this so I,don't know if y'all can see in the,picture how they just have this fabric,just kind of draped Across The Mantel,and then here's a different white one so,just draping across the furniture,draping across the cabinets I got this,black skull picture which I thought,would be really cute to serve something,at the haunted house party I probably,should have got more than one of these,if I remember correctly maybe they only,had one left so I might need to check a,different Walmart location to see if,they have more because usually if I'm,doing cocktails or something or build,your own cocktail I have like a few,different juices or something so I feel,like I could use this for that also for,serving food I got these trays I got two,of these ones that say Bon Appetit which,are very like on cleaning as well as two,of these plain black filigree Gothic,vampire looking ones I just got this,sign that says welcome to the afterlife,because I felt like I just hang this,somewhere in my house a lot of the other,signs and stuff like this were very,cheesy and cutesy but this one felt more,like a real haunted house so I got that,and I believe the last thing I got from,Walmart was just this little pink tutu,to start building ziya's pink fairy,costume with then from Michaels all I,got was this Set uh for spooky shifting,portraits so depending on how you look,at it it's innocent and then it's scary,so there's four different ones so these,will take a cool Gallery wall I could,probably also just go to the thrift,store get some frames print out some,spooky pictures to add to this to really,make a gallery wall of course the ones,that I print out will not be shifting,but I could just get like pictures of,The Addams Family pictures of skeletons,pictures of zombies and like frame them,to like add into this to make a bigger,Gallery wall so I'll probably do that,like just get thrifted frame spray paint,them black or something that'll be a,good quick cheap DIY and then lastly,from Target I got this giant 10 foot,black spider web just because I have,white walls and I putting this inside so,I wanted it to pop off of the white,walls even though real spider webs are,white and they did have a white one I,wanted the black one then I also got,this bigger piece of spooky fabric just,like the other ones from Walmart but,this one's black and bigger and then I,got these packs of plastic spiders like,a bunch of tiny little plastic black,spiders I don't know if y'all can even,see in there but there's literally 150,of them in here and then 25 these are,assorted bugs so there's like centipedes,and worms and spiders and so this is to,go with this stuff because once I spread,this stuff out it's really easy to just,like stick these on that you don't even,need to attach them they kind of just,like Velcro on because you gotta have,spiders for your spider webs and the,last thing I got was this big plastic,skull Bowl to either put candy in you,know I could put chips I could put some,sort of food that looks like a brain,that's what I should do make it look,like his brain is coming out and have,that be part of the food for the haunted,house party that's what I should do with,this but that's everything I got from,Target so that is my whole haul so far,but I still want to look online on,Amazon and stuff and I still want to go,to Spirit Halloween if I can find one,near me okay it is September 30th I am,so proud of myself because it's not even,October 1st October 1st is tomorrow and,I feel like I'm very much ahead of the,game I just spent the whole first half,of my day finalizing my Pinterest boards,so I have all my info saved and then I,went ahead and made a list from that,Pinterest board of actual list of here's,what I plan to do for decorations here's,what I plan to do for the food here's,what I plan to do for the drinks and,here's what I plan for any other little,random extra stuff there's my plan,that's pretty much how I do it it's a,combination between just being inspired,by Pinterest coming up with my own ideas,and being inspired by things that I see,out in the stores since I did already do,some shopping so I have my main plan,together for the party I also want ahead,and put together a separate Pinterest,board of costume ideas that go with the,theme when I did my birthday party I had,a dress code of neutral Resort Wear and,I put together a Pinterest board to,scent alongside the invitation so that I,could let my guests know like hey yes,there is a dress code but I wanted to,just give this to you so that you have,ideas of what to wear so you're not like,confused or stressed about what to wear,so I want to do the same thing for this,party and give them some Halloween,costume inspo I'm definitely going to be,dressed on theme I just placed my order,for all of my stuff for my costume I,wanted to go ahead and order it early,just in case certain things don't work,out or I need to replace or get extra,things all of my stuff should be getting,here within about a week so I'll be able,to actually show you guys but for now,here are just the pictures of the items,that I ordered I'm gonna be doing a,whole separate video about the costumes,that I'm doing this year because I still,have to work on ziya's costume and my,other fairy costume to go with Zaya's,costume so I'll probably do a whole,other video about diying those and also,be able to show you this vampire costume,kind of more put together in that video,as well so stay tuned for that back,again with another haul I went to a,different Walmart location and a,different Dollar Tree location because,every location has different things in,stock I've learned that over the years,you've got to go to a few different,Dollar Trees and a few different guadal,bars to get what you need so I don't,know if I should do it by category or by,store I guess by store would be the most,helpful I'm thinking that I'm gonna be,posting this video early enough in,October to where it might actually be,helpful if you're still shopping for,your Halloween stuff so let me just tell,you what I got from each store starting,with Dollar Tree again you can always,get party supplies from Dollar Tree like,cups plates forks knives little trays,and bowls and all types of serving stuff,for your food so I got black cups I got,some candy for the kids party I got this,it's not Halloween related but I use,this dry my makeup I needed a new one of,those I got latex gloves which you will,see will come in handy for a little DIY,I got this from the five dollar section,it's a light up statue it's a spell book,with a light up skull it's just a little,statue I thought it was cool I got a,glow in the dark Skeleton Man the other,one was not glow in the dark I got a,skeleton bird which I did not see at the,first Dollar Tree I got glow-in-the-dark,skeleton hands that you stick into the,ground so it looks like the skeletons,are coming out of their grave I got two,of those I did not see these at the,first Dollar Tree either more skeleton,hands which I had already got some the,first time but I just got more I don't,know why it says Spoons on here because,these are literally Forks but they're,little baby forks and I got these for my,eyeball cake pops that I want to make I,got these two sticky gummy blood things,that you can just like stick onto your,window I thought about getting fake,blood and like actually dripping it and,actually like you know get the blood put,my hand print on there right with it but,I don't know how messy that's gonna be,if it's gonna like mess up my windows if,I'm gonna regret doing that so I felt,like this was a much safer cleaner way,it's not as realistic obviously but like,it gets the point across it's pretty,realistic I got two of these metal pizza,pans and three pool noodles which are in,the garage which are for this candle DIY,that I want to do and then I got two of,these tombstones I got the most scariest,ones they had different ones that were a,little bit more cutesy but I just got,the ones that were actually more creepy,and then I got four of these face pieces,of this is what they're called they're,like little plastic things you can stick,it in the ground or use it for whatever,I got four pieces they like hook,together if you want to make it longer I,thought I could use this either inside,outside using it a few different ways to,give it that haunted house feel and I'm,glad that I went to Dollar Tree first,because after that I'm went to a,different Walmart location to look at,what they had and I noticed that Dollar,Tree had better deals on a lot of like,the same stuff so like the little,eyeballs that I got from Dollar Tree,they had them at Walmart but they were,like three times as expensive at Walmart,but these other Tombstone kits from,Walmart so like this one is a set of six,tombstones I also got this was six,dollars where did I buy this this was,six dollars at Walmart it's another,blood spatter window sticker thing to go,along with the other ones as well as,this one is like a whole door cover of,blood splatters this is just some spooky,spiderweb garland that was like a dollar,fifty so not bad I got these from,Walmart which I thought were super cute,they're little coffin boxes that say,Happy Halloween like little gift boxes,so I got these because I want to give,out prizes at my party for like winning,the game or winning the best costume and,stuff like that like I plan to give out,gift cards and stuff so I thought this,would be a cute way to package up the,gift cards and like put some candy with,it or something as the prize and it's a,coffin and I'm gonna be dressed up like,a vampire so like it works and there's,four of them which I think will be the,right amount I got a tube of vampire,blood for a dollar to do my vampire,drips for my costume I got this glass,skull decanter it's like you could put,potions or liquor in here and I like I,honestly for everyday use if I'm being,honest but I thought it was cool for the,haunted house party oh I got this stupid,little bat why did I buy this see when I,get home when I'm in the store it's just,like it's all a blur we just put things,in the cart but when I get home and I,look at it in my at-home lighting I'm,like why did I buy this this I'm excited,about it's a projector light thing and,it projects a red spider web and it says,it projects up to 18 feet big and IT,projects downwards onto the floor so I,was thinking from my haunted house party,if I can somehow attach it to the,ceiling fan and it points down then,it'll like project a big red spider red,like all across the whole living room,which would give them really cool,effects mix in with the other lighting,and stuff that I have planned I want to,do like strobe lights and different,lighting and like have it be mostly dark,but with strobe lights and then also,have like a fog machine going so I feel,like this mixed into that would be,really cool I got these gummy I goals,because I did not see them at my other,Walmart location so I just wanted to,grab it while I could I don't know what,I'm gonna use these for but I'll either,use them at the kids party or mix them,into the adults food I don't know and,then I got this for the kids party it's,a cutesy little jack-o-lantern,tablecloth and that is today's haul okay,so today is September 30th tomorrow is,October 1st which is technically the,accepted day that you can still put in,Halloween decorations out but since I,just got back from the store I feel like,we can be a few hours early because a,lot of the stuff that I bought is not,just for the day of the party it's stuff,that I can just have out for all of,October for spooky season to just have,my house decorated and then it'll,already be mostly decorated by the time,we get to the party so certain things,like these little figurines can just,already be put into place like that it's,subtle but it's there and then for these,bloody handprint things I was definitely,wanting to use some of them on this,mirror and then some in the main,bathroom mirror that party guests are,going to be using so it's kind of like a,little surprise I want to eat it,okay so here's the beware blood splatter,it's not bad it's a bit small for this,mirror I mean I guess if you think like,it was somebody riding with their finger,I guess it's the right size for that,it'll be fine it'll come together when I,get more decorations in this area I,think or I might move it to a different,thing I don't know but that's that and,then for these other two sets I can put,them in here in the powder bathroom the,party is literally 30 days away so why,am I already doing this but like I said,it's just spooky season in general it's,fine okay here's this mirror done I put,the help I put one hand print and then I,actually put the other hand print down,here because it's still looking it stuck,really well to the sink so I thought,that was kind of a nice touch look like,you're falling down or crawling boozy no,okay so this is the other window decal,looking handprint thing I got from,Walmart these splatters look more,realistic but I don't know if the way,they go on the window is gonna be more,realistic I just want to like test one,out I want to do like a lot of stuff to,this main window here and I don't have,it fully planned out yet so I'm gonna,wait but I just want to see how these,work I'm gonna tell if it was like a,white border or a clear border but it is,clear so that's what those look like,they definitely have a very visible like,border around it even though it is clear,it's like very visible so that makes it,look super fake but I mean okay so from,this direction like that looks more real,but if you catch it in the wrong,lighting like that it looks super fake I,wonder what it looks like at night time,though because the party is definitely,going to be after dark so it might look,better at night time there's that I have,a whole big sheet of them so I'll,probably just scatter these around,another thing as far as planning my,haunted how house party now I remember,I'm doing two separate parties I'm doing,a little kids party on one day and I'm,doing the adults haunted house party on,another day for the adults haunted house,party I'm thinking back to my Ravens,Resort birthday party and what really,made that party cool to me was the extra,aspects of people that I hired I hired a,DJ I hired a bartender I hired massage,therapists to do massages and I actually,hired help with the decorations like the,balloon people that to me took the party,to a Next Level and I kind of want to,bring that same energy to this Halloween,party not so crazy because it's like,this is going to be a smaller guest list,it's just Halloween it's not my birthday,so we don't need to go crazy with it but,I was trying to think of someone that I,could hire something special that I,could bring into the Halloween party to,just add that type of flair after,talking to my friends going through a,few options I landed on wanting to hire,some sort of performer so it's Halloween,it's a haunted house Halloween it's,adults only it's not for kids so we,don't want anything corny and cheesy I,thought about a magician but not like a,let me show you some card tricks kids,birthday party magician more David,Blaine Chris Angel creepy spooky oh my,God that's dangerous thrilling type of,magician because that goes with like the,scary spooky thing right or a fire,performer so if you've ever seen those,people who like twirl the fire around a,hula hoop with the fire swallow the fire,swallow swords like something dangerous,and freaky and thrilling like that I,think would be really cool because it is,adults you gotta do something that's,really gonna impress and freak out the,adults you know what I mean there's a,lot of stuff you can do for kids but for,adults it's a little bit more tricky so,I searched high and low online for,anything along those lines thrilling,magicians fire performers sword,swallowers oh and then I also searched,for tarot card readers Palm readers,psychics people who will do like,anything astrology anything fortune,teller I know that's like kind of,problematic like not don't want to be,proud problematic with it because y'all,know me I love astrology I love stuff,like that I actually believe and respect,stuff like that so I don't want to like,be disrespectful in the sense it's like,oh it's scary Halloween Palm Reader,let's like I'm not trying to make fun of,it like I would want it to be like real,but like also go with the spooky theme,so that was kind of a toss-up so I was,more so leaning towards the magician,fire performer thing searching high and,low y'all know I'm limited to what's,available in my area which is not the,best area for this type of stuff I found,one magician who is able to do thrilling,type tricks I explained to him the whole,vibe and what I'm looking for he said he,could do it he doesn't look sir if you,ever see this video I'm sorry from his,pictures and his videos he looks,friendly and like he looks more like I,don't know I'm nervous about it because,I just really don't want it to be like,corny like our little on my friends to,be like what the heck is this but I'm,leaning towards hiring this one magician,guy so we'll see stay tuned right back,and then the next thing that I'm wanted,to incorporate into the party this,doesn't involve hiring anyone but again,an activity you need something to do,like at my birthday party something to,do was to go and get a massage for this,I came up with a murder mystery game now,there's murder mystery parties that you,can have the whole theme of the party is,murder mystery people dress up to go,with it and it's like this whole big,long game we're not doing that but I did,find a different version of a murder,mystery game that you can play at a,party that's a lot more simple easy to,follow and it's basically just like this,thing you explain the rules in the,beginning of the party and you're kind,of playing the game throughout the party,and it gets people to interact with each,other and have fun and like there's,little like things that you have to do,and blah blah blah I think it's going to,be really cool because it's a haunted,house everybody's dressed up in these,spooky scary outfits it's like who's the,murderer is it the Frankenstein is it,the zombie is it the vampire I think,it's gonna be fun there's a few little,props and things that I need to make to,go with the game and of course I'm gonna,make them with the Haunted House theme,but but I'm excited for that so that's,another thing to stay tuned for the Vlog,of the party to see how the magician,turns out and how the murder mystery,game turns out is it going to be cheesy,and corny and my friends roll their eyes,or is it going to take the party to the,next level we gonna see okay so today is,October 4th so far I have made a tiny,bit of progress with the general,Halloween decorations around my house,not much I'll show you more of what I've,done in a minute I've made zero progress,with making DIY Halloween decorations,and I've made not too too much progress,with all of our costumes I purchased,everything for my vampire costume so,that's pretty much good and I just now,purchased a good amount of stuff for my,fairy costume to match desire and a,couple of things for her part of the,costume but I'm gonna have to make like,so pretty much so ziya's costume from,scratch I think to get the look that I,want and that she wants and I'm gonna,have to like make parts of my costume as,well but you know making a little bit of,progress with the costumes overall but I,just pulled up to Spirit Halloween like,I was saying I wanted to come to this,store because it's probably the biggest,most stocked store with the most,Halloween stuff I would guess I mean,I've never been to one in this area,before so I don't know we're about to,see we're about to find out what type of,stuff they have in there what are the,prices looking like is there anything in,here that I feel like I need either just,for my general around the house,decorations for my scary haunted house,party for the little kids party extra,stuff for our costumes we're just gonna,go see so let's see,foreign,Spirit Halloween in a second but they,put out more different stuff look at,these little like coffin bowls I don't,know what I'm gonna use these for but,I'm going to use them for something with,the food at the haunted house party and,they have these different eyeball props,which I already have an idea for these,little tiny spiders to just sprinkle,around this is for shots like these are,little tubes another one of these all,right y'all one last haul for this video,and then we're gonna get into making the,DIYs and setting up more stuff around,the house I've got a package from Amazon,this includes a couple little things for,my costume which I will show you guys,more on that in my next video vampire,teeth accessories jewelry for my Glam,pyre look oh this looks complicated this,is I think there's 40 of them in here a,little blood bags like blood transfusion,bags that I'm gonna put a red drink,inside of they're not real blood,transfusion bags they're specially made,to put drinks inside of like for parties,I'll put the picture here so you guys,can see what I'm talking about but I got,the blood bags with the labels and,everything it looks kind of complicated,it looks almost like it is a real blood,transfusion bag but I don't know,hopefully it's not too hard to fill,these up for the party I did also just,place a whole nother Amazon order today,just a few more decoration pieces a few,more little things for me and Zaya's,costumes but you guys will see all that,stuff later but then as far as what I,bought today from the Spirit Halloween,we in store I got this which is the big,mama version of the little Dollar Tree,skull fence pieces that I already got so,this is just three pieces like bigger,skull fence which I haven't decided if,I'm gonna use it indoor or outdoor we'll,see just to make my house look even more,like a haunted mansion and then I just,got two more things I got this little,automatic hanging spider it's actually,pretty big so you put batteries in it,and it's motion activated so like when,somebody walks past it it'll like you,know fall down and then it like crawls,back up the spider string which I,thought would be a nice touch because I,bought a bunch of spider web stuff a,bunch of little fake spiders so I'm,definitely gonna have a lot of spider,webs going on so to have one that moves,to catch people off guard that's gonna,be the ticket right there and the last,thing I really was like should I get,this but I couldn't pass it up this is a,five foot collapsible Black Coffin so a,pretty much almost full-sized coffin but,I liked it because I was planning on,maybe diying a coffin out of like,cardboard or something like that and,just like making my own little coffin,prop if I make it out of cardboard it's,going to be this big taped together,thing am I gonna keep it am I going to,use it next year is it gonna hold up is,it even gonna look good to begin with,this is something that's like hopefully,gonna look a little bit more realistic I,want to try it out actually and it's,collapsible it just folds up into this,little thing and it's like reusable you,know what I mean so I can fold this up,easily store it easily like pull it out,every year which I thought was smarter,than trying to like make a big cardboard,DIY thing you know now this was 37,that's why I was like should I really,buy this because I could definitely make,one like I said out of cardboard but,um some assembly required,oh okay a little disappointing not gonna,lie you have to put the little sticks in,it to hold it together I thought it was,gonna be black why is it like purple but,it like opens so somebody could get in,there if they wanted to I don't know,what does this work 37 Maybe not maybe I,regret this purchase after that I went,to Walmart to get more stuff that's,already like my fourth time going to,Walmart for Halloween stuff but they put,out new stuff which I already showed you,a couple of things that I got but I got,supplies to do this DIY that I saw on,Tick Tock I'll put the tick tock here I,got this bag of bones so it's like a,skeleton but all in pieces I got a pack,of orange string lights and then I got,my handy dandy Loctite spray foam which,if you know you know I have gone through,countless cans of this or DIY,decorations but I am going to be doing,this DIY to make Bones on fire it's just,a spooky looking thing of Bones being,burnt and my idea was to make it and,then put it in my little fire pit thing,that I have so it'll really be really,realistic like I have bones in my fire,pit either outside on the patio I,haven't decided yet if for the haunted,house party if the outside patio is,going to be like part of the party or,not or if everything's just going to be,inside but either way I'll either have,that be with like stuff on the patio or,I'll bring it inside and set it up,somewhere inside but I think this is,going to be a cool DIY coming up next in,my next video I'm going to be showing,you guys all the DIYs that I am making,for the Haunted House theme as well as,how I'm kind of styling all of my,store-bought decorations and just,transforming my whole house into a,haunted house so stay tuned for that

How to build a cheap haunted house! 2018!

what's up guys welcome back to the,channel we're doing something a little,different today over the last I don't,know three or four years that we moved,into this neighborhood I have been super,super super depressed about Halloween,because nobody does candy kids aren't,walking through the streets it's just,kind of boring and I never liked that,and actually grew up in this,neighborhood when I was younger my mom,lives a couple of streets up so every,year I'm always like I want to do a,haunted house I want to do something I,want to get the kids here and I never,really did anything and so I was laying,in bed last night and it is October 24th,today and we have a week until Halloween,and I was like I'm gonna build one so I,started youtubing googling and figuring,out how to build a haunted house or a,maze or something to get the kids up,here and we're gonna do that right now,again thank you so much for tuning in I,am Jeremy this is of course a,photography Channel but I'm also a dad,and we're also doing cool stuff so area,behind me is where we're gonna be doing,our haunted house or a maze a little bit,so the base is gonna start right where,I'm standing and it's gonna kind of go,up to the third car garage and then into,the house and the area right back there,it's where the candy is gonna be and,that's where the kids are gonna grab the,candy so basically they have to walk,through the house get the candy and,they're gonna walk through it again to,come out so I'm only have one entrance,one exit and I think that'll be perfect,I don't know how many kids are actually,gonna show up I'm hoping that kids will,start showing up and then they'll tell,other kids about it and we'll get way,more people but before we get started I,just went to Lowe's and this is,everything that I got that I hope will,work out all right guys this is,everything I just bought at Lowe's and I,think it's cool I spent about a hundred,and seventy nine dollars which I thought,it was gonna be more I thought I was,gonna be less I don't know what I,thought it's just it's around there it's,always more than you think,I bought thirty half-inch ten-foot PVC,piping PVC 40 which is like I don't only,one they had it's like the cheapest one,I think and they're super flimsy to,start and we're actually gonna be,cutting these into 5 5 foot segments so,basically cutting them in half and using,those to section off you obviously don't,want to put one long piece together with,another one because that's just too,Wiggly,we don't want it Wiggly we have black,plastic bags this is what we're gonna,put around the whole bone of everything,when they're done I have a little PVC,cutter here which I realize I didn't,have I have some elbows some tees and,these are 90 degrees I don't know,exactly what I'm using about a bunch of,everything and then we have some zip,ties to get the black plastic around,these things so basically all I'm gonna,do is I'm gonna do a time-lapse of me,putting this all together time how long,it takes and show you guys what we're,doing I'll answer some questions as we,go through but if you have comments or,suggestions or anything as you're going,through or questioning what you,guys can see thank you guys so much,let's get rockin right now,you,alright guys we are two hours in and day,1 is over for me because I have to gets,actual work work done but here's what we,got so far so we basically built the,frame on the floor got the entrance kind,of done I added two uses I ended up,adding some string and I ended up tying,it to the tree over here and put a,couple nails in the house and then put,some string around it just to kind of,reinforce it a little bit I keep,forgetting that I'm only doing this for,one day so here's what we got so far,alright so as you can see we have the,base on the floor here as we go through,this is the entrance we'll have a,doorway they'll have to go this way,they'll have to go this way then they'll,have to go this way and into here all,gonna have black tarp on it black,plastic and then this is actually where,they're gonna be getting their candy and,everything so I have to go all the way,and only way out is to go back through,so I didn't want to have an exit but we,basically have these really cool frames,I have a few nails in the walls already,so I think you can add nails to this and,then zip tie everything so it's a little,more sturdy these crossbars are just in,gonna be in little places just to keep,the sturdiness kind of available this is,all gonna be covered as well so I wanted,to just keep everything kind of nice and,sturdy add a little flagpole thing here,and so the tricky part now that I'm have,to figure out is how to keep going to,the end and do that so I have to get,creative and start doing stuff like this,so instead of having another one comes,straight down here we just have one that,comes out I don't have to connect the,tops together but pretty good so I'm,gonna have to get more PVC piping we've,used I think I probably have I would say,about 50 feet I haven't used yet,so I pretty much used 250 feet so far,for that so we'll continue tomorrow keep,it going what's up guys it is noon on,day 2 I've been actually doing this for,a couple hours went to Lowe's this,morning before my haircut and then came,back and I had two got buy more stuff so,I had to buy more of these corner pieces,here let me show you guys real quick,these ones,and it's like a tripod so it makes one,go in and then to go out to the side,basically as I'm building this I'm,having to figure out what I really need,to do as I'm going through so as you can,see right now it's kind of falling over,here on the side so what I'm trying to,do is just get the outside perimeter,done and then now what I'm doing is I'm,cutting these little specialty pieces,right into here here so that will,connect to that so that'll make it a,little tighter and as I go through I,have extra ended up getting 20 more feet,of pipe so so far I'm at 500 feet of,pipe I'm gonna try not to get any more,and try to use this the main pieces are,pretty much up the long pieces are up,it's 8 feet tall 8 feet tall is my,height for everything and I want to say,this is like 25 feet the longest length,20 feet everything's in five feet,increments one big tip that I have for,you guys as you guys are cutting,everything especially want to save it,for the next year it's cut everything in,foot increments what I mean is 1 2 3 4 5,foot increments and you can always use,t-bars or coupling to kind of put those,together so I have a bunch of these,small things right here that I'm gonna t,barring together and I don't have to use,the other end of the tee but it only,still keep it together if you have a,chance to buy things when you're,actually buying your pieces by t-bar,tees and the elbows rather than the,small single elbows or the coupling,because at least with these you guys can,use them you don't have to use all the,spaces you can leave kind of an open,open area like this one perhaps and if I,decide that I want to use it I can use,that so it's super easy just to cut a,piece and then add more onto it so I'll,keep time lapse you can keep it going,you,wrap it up for today I am going to take,some zip ties and try to zip tie,anything that I can around the perimeter,of the house here so all these little,perimeters all these little spots all,these little spots right here I'm going,to try to get this to zip tie around,somehow get creative I got a little,creative right here just to keep it a,little more firm this one's being pushed,out which is actually fine this thing,pretty well but that's the goal so we're,gonna zip tie everything I had to have,some slouching right here that I don't,like so I might actually take some,string I bought some string and tie it,to the basketball court basketball hoop,on the top so it'll lift it up and then,wind comes then it'll pull or I can,actually do it to the tree as well I can,actually do these ones to the tree,before we put the bags on with,everything so we're gonna do that and,then I'll be putting the bags on,tomorrow,guys haunted house is done it is,Halloween 2018 and I am finally finished,with it I got a little bit of help at,the end from the fam but I want to say,was about 20 hours 20 to 24 hours of,work and we finally got it done if the,wind wasn't here and I didn't have to,rebuild it two times then it would have,been about 16 hours but I would say when,I do this next year,I just need maybe a two-day head start,and I'm good this last week added a week,Head Start and what happened is,everything stood up and then just kind,of broke down so here it is I'm gonna,give you guys a walk through during the,day I don't think I'm I feel anything at,night because it's too dark to film,obviously from from the darkness but,I'll kind of show you everything that we,got and what we're gonna finalize it,with so you'll see from my point of view,let's do that right now I'm super,excited for tonight it is 4:15 4:30 at I,don't know time it is I want to say 4:30,so hopefully trick-or-treaters start,getting here in about an hour and a half,and this is my costume it'll be me doing,things all right take a peek all right,so this is the front of the house we,took some red spray paint and we kind of,sprayed the side but we got just some,random stuff that are going on here we,have a Lightning a scary person and then,a strobe light that hits that because,it's all about lighting in my world of,photography so we kind of took some,spray paint and some fluorescent spray,paint and just kind of wrote this got a,bunch more candy for the kids ro stuff,off to the side just in case caution,tapes gonna be the final thing I'm gonna,do right here when I leave with you guys,strobe lights down on the ground do not,turn back,hopefully you guys can see some things,here we got some red spray paint,pointing some animatronics I found this,thing at savers and it's just creepy and,I want to get a bunch of those next time,to make a room full of whatever we got,some dead Bob let's go back into here,again that scary thing from savers I let,the kids kind of go ham on the spray,paint these things are pretty chill,couple I just bought some old clothes,from savers some dead body and so at,night this thing will glow as well we,did get some black lights and I put some,black lights on the side to make,everything fluorescent I got this homey,chick people gonna have to go this way,oh my god kids are gonna get so scared,another little light there we got some,orange Halloween lights just to kind of,guide the way this dude you have to go,around I decided not to plastic this,part up next year I might plastic it all,up as well but for this year I think I'm,cool I ran out of plastic then found,plastic but whatever a couple homies,hanging in that,and then as we kind of go through our,front door we're gonna use this spot,right here to do a little scare I'm,gonna have the kids do a little scare I,got a bunch of babies that savers as,well and we just put blood in them and,screw them into the wall and then we got,some black lighting some webs and me and,my neighbor Brandon are gonna be sitting,right here on these two spots we're,notwe're that's gonna grab the candy,we're not gonna tell anything about it,but we're just gonna sit here and drink,beer and I'm gonna get a bucket of,Popeyes Chicken and we're just getting,chicken and drink beer and that is,literally my halloween while i sit in,here but pretty chill overall i'm very,excited about this for my first time,building a Halloween house made with PVC,piping black plastic PVC piping black,plastic a lot of duct tape what we ended,up doing was everything was falling,apart because these weren't glued in and,i want to glue them in so I actually,took duct tape and duct taped them so,the second time it blew over it was less,work to do because I need to tape,everything and then as you can see as I,went through again sort of duct duct,taping more of it zip ties are my best,friend zip ties pretty much tied,everything up everywhere and that's,basically it spray paint at the end,caution tape pretty pretty simple,overall this whole thing I bought,everything pretty much brand new cost,about $500 for a 20 I would say like a,502 6 No maybe bigger that I would say,like an 800 square foot haunted house so,this stuff I have for next year will add,more to it and it'll be awesome so I did,really well if you guys want to do a,smaller version of this same same,concept applies
