hey guys mix media girl here I'm gonna,show you guys a pretty quick and fun,Halloween painting all right and we're,gonna be just using white green yellow,and black I'm kind of a down to my last,bits of certain colors so I'm gonna just,make do I'm gonna be using a foam brush,here for the background and let's see,this is simply acrylic got from Walmart,so I'm going to start with some of that,in the middle as well as a little bit of,yellow the key here is a circular motion,so I'm going to start in the middle and,go out okay I'm gonna get a little bit,darker yellow and then I'm also gonna,get in there with some green this is a,lighter green this is definitely not the,usual way I do this but I think this,should work and then we're gonna go with,a darker green okay so once again,keeping in our circle here we're going,to add in the green and the darker green,okay now you want to fill in any spots,that have white add more pink as needed,I'm gonna go in here with some more of,the darker green okay,I've now gotten the entire background,covered I'm gonna go in the middle here,with a little bit more white and I'm,flipping over to the clean side of my,brush you can also just use a clean,brush and I'm going to just go all the,way out now and blend this all together,look at that magic okay so we now have a,killer background with a moon per se all,right we're gonna now go ahead and add,in a graveyard so we basically just need,well yep we just need a bunch of black,down here and you can wait till the,background dries if you want or you just,keep going I'm gonna just keep going cuz,I don't want this to be the world's,longest video and you can use either,your foam brush to do this because it's,it's black it should be fine or you can,use a different brush if you want so,right now we're creating a ground here,okay and you can totally do the edges as,you go along if you'd like now I do have,extra black paint here so I'm gonna now,take just like a medium flat brush and,what I'm gonna do is just add in some,gravestones as many as you want I,usually like to do maybe three alright,one more over here for now,and you can make them a little more,exciting like if you want to add in a,part here give me a cross you can write,rest in peace whatever you want on there,okay alright and then we got just a,couple more steps here,you can of course stop at any point that,you're happy but we're gonna go ahead,and add in a tree because I love trees,and I feel like they just add some,dimension you know they really bring the,piece together alright so we start out,with our main branches now this is in an,graveyard so this is not gonna have a,ton of branches and it's gonna be kind,of a scraggly little tree the key part,with branches is make them a bit thicker,towards the tree trunk most trees have,branches like that and then go thinner,as they go out and then the easiest way,I've found to end off trees or branches,is in a V so see how this ends in a V,here we're just gonna leave that like,that,and a few more under this one move out,you can definitely definitely overdo it,on branches so I'm going to try to keep,this one real simple kind of making the,bottom here blend in with the ground,and there you have your tree okay so,let's add a little more interest to,these gravestones,all right I think that's good you can of,course keep going and in anything else,you want you could add in another tree,more definitely more gravestones you,could add in some stars very easily you,know whatever you want,have fun create with it but I just think,this is kind of a cute simple little,Halloween painting great to do with kids,with friends etc or just you know by,yourself if you're having fun alright,guys I hope you guys enjoyed this please,do not forget to subscribe and we'll see,you next time

when you,painting on top of the orange choose,light light yellow can be alimony and,color hair if you're painting on top of,the moon paint with dark orange this way,you will demonstrate a difference,between background and these reflections,small twigs of course I recommend to,switch to the brush see you know it can,be number 1 or 0 any tiny brush you have,around you color have to be not too deep,not black it's important if you will,paint black tiny tweaks around a pumpkin,it will look similar as a pumpkin so the,pumpkin here I'm gonna be look Harry a,little bit you know if you're painting,tweaks behind it with a lighter,shade it's looking like a trees behind a,pumpkin really you can see a difference,here I believe also if you're painting,on top of the light areas here like,bright bright yellow it's a moon please,paint with a light orange mixed with a,black if you're painting on top of the,saturated orange you can add even a more,black into this next and only if you,painting on top of the violet background,there you can use just pure clear non,black about a pumpkin a large detail I,can recommend you to paint it's a,reflection on a boring part of the,pumpkin it's just giving some tiny extra,value to this lovely smiley pumpkin I,think it's looking good enough already,and everything I have to do its cat eyes,well I really was thinking to skip it,you know maybe painted with a bright,yellow or maybe I don't know with a rad,but I believe Emer 'old green it's the,best color here I have an emerald green,next to me somehow I think maybe my,daughter took it anyway I mixed green,and cobalt blue that's it it's a small,hint of green but look how beautiful,it's looking here all orange burning,that really saturated colors and a tiny,and green dots that's Hallo allemaal. Ik ben Jane en vandaag gaan we een supersimpele spooky kat schilderen.,Dit is een van de schilderijen die we deden bij de schilderfeesten die ik gaf in mijn galerie. En het is erg makkelijk.,Het perfecte schilderij voor de absolute beginner en zelfs voor je kleine,kunstmonstertjes om met je mee te schilderen. Zorg dat je kijkt naar de videobeschrijving,hieronder, voor een opsomming van de materialen die ik hiervoor gebruikte. Maar voel je ook vrij om,creatief te zijn en zelf kleuren te kiezen die je mooi vindt bij dit schilderij.,Laten we beginnen.,We gaan een heel simpele, uitstralende achtergrond creëren vanuit,het midden hier. Ik begin met wat geel en vervaag het in wat phthalo,groen en misschien wat phthalo blauw in de hoeken. Ik ga mijn 2,5 cm,platte kwast gebruiken. Natmaken in mijn pot en het overtollige water afvegen. Ik ga aardig wat,basis-geel op de kwast doen. Als je denkt dat je moeite gaat hebben met het,mengen, kun je een sprayflesje gebruiken om de achtergrond vochtig,te maken, dat geeft je wat extra tijd om te werken.,Ik begin door de punt van de kwast recht op het doek te zetten.,Ik doe het niet plat, gewoon recht op het doek.,Ik zit hier in het midden en hier iets boven het midden, ik ga nu gewoon,beginnen met het tekenen van een soort cirkel.,Als je wat verder naar buiten komt kan je de kwast plat houden.,Ik gebruik de gele kleur best ver naar buiten,,dat doe ik omdat de phthalo groen erg sterk is, en ik wil mijn geel niet verliezen. Ik wil dat deze,achtergrond best fel van kleur blijft.,Ik gebruik veel verf tegelijk, dat geeft me wat meer tijd,om mee te werken.,Hoe dunner je verf, hoe sneller het opdroogt.,Oké, hier is mijn geel. Ik doe wat meer geel op mijn kwast en ik,pak wat extra groen op elke hoek. Ik begin iets buiten het geel,en werk het voorzichtig naar binnen.,Onthoud, wanneer je je kwast plat duwt leg je veel verf neer. Dus,hier gebruik ik amper het uiteinde van de kwast om de kleuren te laten versmelten.,Maar hier, waar ik wat meer verf wil gebruiken, kan ik wat meer,druk uitoefenen. Dus onthoud, wanneer je moeite hebt met het mengen,,let op de druk die je uitoefent op je kwast. Als je te veel verf neerlegt,gebruik je waarschijnlijk te veel druk op je kwast.,Je kunt het zo ver in je geel brengen als je wil, als je maar niet precies naast je geel stopt.,Wees niet bang om die kleuren flink in elkaar te laten vervagen. Meer geel, klein,beetje meer groen, en we beginnen hier. Nogmaals, we beginnen buiten het geel,,vervagen het, en met minimale druk op de kwast, breng ik het in het geel.,Ik ga ongeveer 7 cm het geel in., , ,Ik pak wat meer groen, en ik ga deze kleur niet helemaal,tot onderaan gebruiken, want we gaan daar toch een schutting plaatsen, maar ik,wil zeker weten dat het groen ver genoeg naar beneden gaat zodat ik niet,mijn schutting te hoog moet maken om witte plekken op het doek te bedekken.,Maar als je de kleur ook onderaan wil doen en later nadenken over je schutting,,dan is dat ook prima, het is niet moeilijk om deze kleur te bedekken met de schutting.,Ik heb nu nog steeds mijn geel en groen en ik pak nu wat phthalo blauw,hier en vu de hoeken op zoals ik eerder deed. Ik begin buiten het,groen, en dan vervaag ik het met zachte druk in het groen.,Erg lichte druk.,Oké, ik pak mijn föhn erbij en droog daarmee met name de onderkant,,zodat ik, wanneer ik de schutting toevoeg, niet de groene kleur erin mee trek.,Laten we beginnen met ons hek, het wordt een erg simpele schutting. Maar als je,het meer zoals het hek in de Summer Flowers video wil doen, dan kan je,absoluut die energie er in stoppen. Maar ik wil dat dit een erg,simpele video is die je met kinderen kunt doen, of als je net begint met,schilderen, je dit met minimale frustratie kunt doen. Zie dat ik ze,niet vermeng met elkaar, ik pak het er alleen op. En dan een klein beetje zwart op,de hoek. Misschien ook een beetje op de andere hoek. Nu ga ik beslissen,waar mijn schutting moet komen. Ik maak het waarschijnlijk zo'n 7 tot,10 cm hoog, en ik gebruik de rand van mijn kwast om de bovenkant van het hek,te creëren. Ik zet het recht op het doek en breng het recht naar beneden.,Kies een volgend plekje en herhaal.,Elke paal kan een verschillende lengte hebben.,Als ze te veel op elkaar gaan lijken, wissel dan je kleuren,een beetje. Mijn kwast was een beetje nat. De kleur loopt een beetje uit. Dat is niet erg.,Het laat het hek er misschien oud en verweerd uitzien.,Maar kijk, door de kleuren niet in elkaar te vervagen krijg je een beetje een hout look.,Ik ga niet telkens opnieuw over de planken heen,,alleen aan de zijkant hier zodat het mooi bedekt. Laat de kleuren doen wat de,kleuren willen doen.,Weet je, als je een plank hebt die er niet goed uitziet, of het,voelt alsof het niet op planken lijkt, pak dan gewoon een andere kleur,,doe die er overheen, dan zit daar misschien een nieuwe plank.,Ik ga die uitlopers even aanpakken.,Meer ga ik niet doen aan deze schutting. Ik pak mijn föhn,en droog het, zodat ik straks met het tekenen van de kat niet met mijn,krijt door de natte verf hoef.,Laten we beginnen met de kat. Ik heb deze witte krijt.,Bedenk eerst waar je je kat wil hebben, ik wil hem aan,de rechterkant, een stukje uit het midden. Het grootste deel van zijn lichaam wil ik,hier. Voordat je zijn lichaam tekent, denk aan de plaatsing ervan. Je wilt niet,de onderkant van zijn lichaam precies op het puntje van het hek plaatsen,,want dat gaat er niet uitzien alsof hij op het hek zit. Het gaat,er uitzien alsof hij erboven zweeft. Maar je wil zijn lichaam ook niet te ver naar,beneden plaatsen, want dat ziet er ook raar uit. Dus ik wil beginnen met waar de,onderkant van mijn kont gaat zijn. Dus ik plaats hier een beetje een,lijntje en teken daar een cirkel vanaf.,En omdat dit krijt is,,en je kunt verven waar je wil, hoef je je geen zorgen te maken of dit,precies op de juiste plek is. Zijn oren gaan heel simpel zijn., ,We gaan een soort U tekenen bovenop zijn hoofd. Het zal er eventjes uitzien als een,raar demonisch ding... En vanaf dat punt gaan we,recht omlaag naar de zijkant van zijn hoofd.,Recht naar beneden in de zijkant.,Eens kijken waar we de staart gaan positioneren. Zorg ervoor dat de staart vanuit,het midden van het lichaam komt. Niet vanaf,hier, dat zal er raar uitzien. Dus kom vanuit het midden van zijn,lichaam... een beetje naar beneden... omhoog... en we geven hem een mooie, grote krul. Hij heeft een behoorlijk,elegante staart.Zorg voor voldoende afstand bij de krul, zodat wanneer we de spin,toevoegen, de spin niet tegen de rest van de staart hangt. Je wil dat de,spin een beetje los van de rest hangt. Ik heb hier mijn schuine kwast,,je kunt gebruiken wat je zelf prettig vindt om mee te tekenen. Als dat geen,schuine kwast is, dan gebruik je geen schuine kwast. Ik pak wat zwarte verf., ,Ik heb deze kwast in mijn potje natgemaakt. Je hoeft je geen,zorgen te maken over de lijntjes, want,we vullen het straks toch met zwarte verf in. Dus ik doe alleen de lijntjes en je kunt,de lijnen aanpassen wanneer nodig.,Als je zoals ik over krijt verft, let er dan op dat je verf iets,meer uitdroogt. Dus als je je kwast wat vochtiger wilt houden,bij het invullen, dan doe je dat., ,Ik denk dat ik die heupen iets groter wil maken.,Niet veel., , ,Nu teken ik voorzichtig de staart uit. Als je hier een,schuine kwast gebruikt, wat niet per se hoeft,,maar als je een schuine kwast wilt gebruiken, wanneer je langs,die krul hier gaat, rol dan tijdens het verven je kwast heen en weer.,Zie je hoe ik die draai? Want onthoud, de punt van de kwast sleept altijd.,Dus als ik hier begin, mijn kwast wijst naar beneden, en als ik rond ga,rol ik het zodat het aan het einde omhoog wijst. Ik doe het hele stuk,hetzelfde. Naar beneden wijzen... en omhoog... Maar als je een rond kwastje wil gebruiken,,als dat prettiger voelt, dan is daar niets mis mee.,Deze kwast voelt voor mij het prettigst., ,Maar voor een camera schilderen is wat moeilijker,,want soms, om te zorgen dat jullie het goed kunnen zien, zie ik zelf niets.,Ik schilder soms blind, voor jullie.,Ik voer de druk hier wat op om de lijn wijder te maken,,want ik wil dat de staart aan de basis wat breder is.,Ik zal straks die vorm nog wat verbeteren, laten we hem nu eerst invullen.,Ik gebruik de 1,2 cm platte kwast. Het is dezelfde kwast als die ik,voor de achtergrond gebruikte, maar dan smaller. Dit is,een van de kwasten die ik binnenkort voor jullie beschikbaar zal hebben. Als altijd,,bevochtigen in het potje en afvegen aan de rand. Ik pak wat zwarte verf.,De reden dat ik deze kwast gebruik in plaats van de schuine kwast is omdat de haartjes,steviger zijn, en de verf wat beter in de textuur van het doek duwt,dan de zachte schuine kwast. Op die manier heb ik er minder moeite mee,en neemt het minder tijd in beslag.,Invullen over de krijtlijnen. Het krijt heeft geen,invloed op de verf, behalve dat het het zoals gezegd misschien iets droger maakt.,Maar wat de kleur betreft, daar heeft het geen invloed op.,Als je een donkergekleurde krijt gebruikt met witte verf, dan zou je het misschien,een beetje zien. Maar wit krijt met zwarte verf maakt geen verschil., , ,Ik maak de staart nog wat netter en dan laten we hem drogen., ,Nu pakken we een dunne lijn kwast en we gaan ons,spinnenweb in de staart maken. Ik pak wat zwarte verf, en zie hoe,ik de kwast heen en weer rol. Dat zorgt ervoor dat de punt mooi scherp is,in plaats van hem platter te maken, zodat je het makkelijker als een potlood kunt gebruiken,en een mooi, strak lijntje krijgt. Dus kies hier een punt, waar je maar wilt.,Het zou zelfs hier kunnen. Teken een kleine cirkel, het zou zelfs tegen,de rand van de staart kunnen, waar je maar wilt.,Ik ga het hier doen en teken een kleine cirkel.,Dat gaat het midden van mijn spinnenweb zijn.,Nu laat ik daar wat lijnen uit komen.,Ik houd mijn hand plat op het doek en gebruik het penseel als een potlood.,Ze hoeven niet precies dezelfde afstand te hebben.,Gewoon een grappig spinnenwebje.,Nu verbinden we ze met wat schelpvormen.,Ik begin hier en ga omlaag en weer omhoog.,Dat doe ik rondom.,Nu ik bij deze ben aangekomen, pak ik het iets anders aan.,Ik neem mijn schelpvorm in het midden,,en naar beneden, en weer omhoog. Zo is het een dubbele vorm.,En de reden daarvoor,is dat ik nog een web,daar vanaf ga tekenen,en omlaag naar de staart.,En voeg er zoveel toe,als je wil. Je kunt helemaal losgaan en dit hele ding opvullen, of je kunt er gewoon,een paar doen. Wat je maar mooi vindt.,Als je lijn een beetje breekt,,pak dan wat extra water op je penseel en meng het er weer in. Dat betekent alleen,dat je verf aan de droge kant is., , , ,Voordat we beginnen aan onze spin, geef ik hem een dun draadje,om aan te hangen. Ik gebruik nog steeds mijn dunne lijn penseel. Ik houd mijn hand,tegen het doek en in plaats van op deze manier een lijn te tekenen, laat ik de,controle een beetje los en zal het een beetje heen en weer gaan.,Wat ik ga doen is mijn vingers stil houden, mijn hand op het doek, en laat,de zwaartekracht mijn arm naar beneden brengen.,Volgens mij is dat de makkelijkste manier om een rechte lijn te tekenen.,Ik vul het een beetje op.,Voor de spin zelf gebruik ik dit platte penseeltje.,Ik heb hier wat prism violet, maar je kunt elke soort,paars gebruiken die je wilt. Dit is de eerste die ik greep. Ik pak wat wit en,meng het hierin. Ik maak me geen zorgen over perfect mengen, het mag een beetje,een marmer-effect hebben. Ik teken een cirkeltje of ovale vorm aan de,onderkant van de draad. Ik maak een erg simpele spin, maar als je,wilt, kan je veel meer aandacht aan zijn lichaam besteden, en dat is ook prima.,Ik wil gewoon een simpel beestje.,Misschien geef ik hem wat donkerder paars aan één kant,,nu ik die felle highlight heb aan een kant.,Ik pak mijn lijn penseeltje weer.,We gaan hem wat pootjes geven. Nogmaals, ik geef hem simpele,pootjes, maar ik vind die pootjes erg leuk omdat het hem,spooky en schattig maakt. Ik heb mijn zwarte verf en ik kom recht van zijn lichaampje af,misschien een centimeter.,En dan daarvandaan ga ik een gek,,wiebelend lijntje maken.,Het is prima als deze lijntjes,elkaar overlappen.,Het is een grillig, gek spinnetje.,En ik denk, in de echte wereld,,bestaat er niet zoiets als een schattige spin.,Maar dit is een schattige spin., ,Ik draai mijn penseeltje een beetje, en ik let niet op de zwaartekracht die mijn arm,naar beneden brengt, ik probeer echt te tekenen. En dat helpt me,met het verkrijgen van,dat wiebelige lijntje., , ,Laten we hem wat oogjes geven. Ik neem het uiteinde van,mijn penseel... dip het in wit... ik wil hier geen te grote klodder hebben...,Bedenk waar je de oogjes wilt hebben en raak het aan het het uiteinde van het penseel.,Misschien geef ik hem vijf ogen. Ik heb nog nooit een spin vijf ogen gegeven.,Ik heb dit schilderij veel vaker gemaakt. Ik heb hem altijd slechts twee ogen gegeven, maar laten we,eng en smerig doen en hem vijf ogen geven.,Wanneer dat wit een minuutje had om te drogen,,komen we terug en maken we de oogjes af.,In de tussentijd gaan we de griezelige kattenogen maken. Ik pak mijn krijt weer.,Wat ik eerst ga doen is bedenken waar het midden van zijn hoofd is.,Dus ik teken een lijn vanaf de rand hier... Dat is ongeveer in het midden van,de rand hier... en van het midden hier naar beneden. Onthoud, dit is geen,rechttoe-rechtaan vierkant raster, omdat zijn hoofd niet recht omhoog staat.,Het staat iets opzij. Bedenk waar je de ogen wilt hebben, en ik ga,hem grote, gekke ogen geven, die een groot deel van zijn hoofd opvullen.,En ik plaats het recht op die middenlijn. Zorg ervoor dat ze beide ongeveer in,dezelfde plek staan aan weerszijden van zijn hoofd. Als je het prettig vindt om eerst,zijn ogen met wit te vullen, dan is dat prima. Ik doe dat niet omdat,ik aardig wat wit meng met de kleuren die ik gebruik. Ik gebruik deze,2,5 cm platte kwast. Natmaken in de pot en ik meng een mooie felgroene kleur.,Ik pak wat van deze phthalo groen. Het is erg,sterk en zal je geel snel overweldigen. Meng het totdat ik een,groen heb die ik mooi vind. Ik meng er aardig wat van.,Dan pak ik wat wit en meng dat erbij.,Ik teken zijn ogen ongeveer waar de krijtlijnen staan., ,Mooi grote, ronde, gekke ogen.,En het is het wit dat me hielp,het zwart te bedekken. Als ik het wit niet had gebruikt, zouden het geel en groen erg,doorzichtig zijn.,Neem wat afstand en kijk of ze nog iets aangepast moeten worden.,Ik denk dat we hier een wat plat plekje hebben.,Zie dat ik de rand van mijn penseel gebruik,,niet de zijkant, zodat ik een nette lijn krijg hier. Je hebt betere controle met,de uiterste punt van je penseel dan met de zijkant.,Goed, nu pak ik diezelfde kleur en meng er wat extra,van dit in, zodat het wat donkerder wordt. Ik voeg misschien nog wat meer toe.,Ik wil de kleur helemaal bovenin de ogen iets donkerder,maken, en ik gebruik een lichtere kleur aan de onderkant om er wat meer,diepte en dimensie in te brengen.,Hier een wat donkerder kleur aan de bovenkant...,en borstel het zachtjes uit om het een beetje te mengen. Misschien wil je wachten,tot de eerste laag droog is, zodat die er niet vanaf schraapt.,Ik pak wat,meer wit, en meng een behoorlijk lichte kleur. Veel lichter dan de eerste kleur die ik deed.,En maak hier een kleine highlight.,Onthoud, het is de lichte druk,die je hebt de kleuren mooi te vervagen. Stevigere druk zorgt voor het neerleggen van de verf,,en lichte druk is voor het vervagen.,Hetzelfde idee als toen we met de achtergrond bezig waren. Ik oefen wat meer druk uit hier,om verf neer te leggen, en erg lichte druk om te vervagen.,Ik raak het doek amper aan.,Laten we naar onze spinnenoogjes kijken. Die zullen bijna droog zijn, maar ik heb,kleine puntjes van waar ik het wit erop duwde, dus ik duw,het met mijn vinger... en het is nog steeds nat, dus niet wrijven, maar ik haal,alleen de hoogste puntjes hier vanaf.,Ik tik gewoon met mijn vinger en veeg de,extra verf eraf. Nu is hij klaar voor zijn pupillen. Ik pak mijn lijn penseeltje,,en die is aardig droog, ik ga rechtstreeks in de zwarte verf en,krijg een heel klein puntje aan het uiteinde van mijn penseeltje. Ik wil dat het eruitziet,alsof mijn spin naar mijn kat kijkt, en hoe ik dat ga doen is met waar ik,de pupil plaats. Als ik de pupil in het midden van het oog plaats, lijkt het,alsof hij recht naar ons kijkt, en dat is griezelig, daar houden we niet niet.,Dus om hem naar de kat te laten kijken, plaats ik de pupil rechtsbovenin,,zodat het lijkt alsof hij die kant op kijkt. Dus ik raak het aan,precies hier en hier.. Als je witte verf te nat is, gaat het,zwarte puntje moeilijker. Dat is waarom we het eerst aanstipten met onze vinger.,Laten we nu onze kat wat pupillen geven, en dan zijn we wel klaar.,Eigenlijk is er een plekje op zijn oog dat ik wil fatsoeneren. Het voelt alsof er een,beetje een laag plekje zit hier, en als jou dat gebeurt hoef je alleen maar,wat zwart te pakken en je kunt er gewoon overheen verven.,Oké, dus we willen het eruit laten zien alsof onze kat naar beneden kijkt, richting,de spin, en ik weet dat je de spin nu niet kunt zien, maar in principe is,de spin deze kant op vanuit zijn ogen. Dus ik neem de rand van mijn 0.6 cm,rechte kwast en raak het zo aan. Dat is de richting waarnaar zijn oog,gaat kijken. En nog eentje aan de andere kant op ongeveer dezelfde plek. Ik gebruik,nog steeds de rand van mijn penseel, ik begin er een beetje boven en druk,dan naar beneden, waarna ik de druk verlicht. Dan kan je de onderkant van,die lijn puntiger maken wanneer nodig.,Hier hetzelfde. Druk omlaag... en verlicht de druk weer. En dan kan je,ze bekijken en besluiten of ze dezelfde vorm hebben, of dat je ze,moet aanpassen.,Met mijn kleine platte penseeltje geef ik hem wat,highlights en dan is hij klaar. Ik doe een kleintje hier... en een kleintje,hier. Het maakt niet echt uit welke vorm of welk formaat ze hebben, of waar je de,highlights plaatst, zorg er wel voor dat ze gelijk aan elkaar zijn.,Misschien doe ik er nog eentje hier.,Om je krijtlijnen weg te werken,,pak een licht vochtig penseel en veeg eroverheen, en zo zullen ze er vrij,makkelijk vanaf gaan. Veeg het schoon aan een keukenpapiertje.,Je hoeft niet te wrijven, sterker nog, als je op dit punt wrijft, kan je,wat verf meenemen. Dus licht vegen is voldoende.,Nu gaan we het tekenen en zijn we klaar.,En hier is je schattige en griezelige Halloween kat.,Vanaf dit punt zou je een hoop leuke dingen kunnen doen met dit,schilderij. Je zou ze veel highlights kunnen geven, je kunt hem in een,andere kleur schilderen, de achtergrond een andere kleur, zoveel details toevoegen,als je zelf wil, of laat het zo simpel als het nu is. Acrylic Painting on a Canvas Tutorial for Halloween | The Nightmare Before Christmas x Van Gogh
hey guys since halloween is just around,the corner i thought it's the perfect,opportunity to paint a scene from the,night before christmas with acrylic,paint in the style of van gogh and i,will also announce the winners of the,september giveaway,because so many of you guys requested,acrylic painting and canvas tutorials i,will be using all that for this painting,so first i lightly pre-sketched the,scene with a pencil and then started off,with painting the moon to create the,moon i first applied white acrylic paint,to create a big circle,then i mixed white paint with a little,bit of yellow to soften it,and now it's ready to be added around,the white circle,by the way do you see this movie as a,christmas or a halloween movie or both,comment down below,because this painting is going to be,created in the style of van gogh you,don't have to blend anything super,nicely instead we want to add visible,brush strokes to create dimension and to,add movement to the painting,so here i added paint one brush stroke,at a time without blending anything,together so you can see all the,different shades and brush strokes,i get a lot of questions about whether i,clean the brushes in between and if i,use water for my painting and the answer,is i rarely use water for my acrylic,paintings only if i really have to blend,something super nicely and the paint is,just way too thick to do that but i like,working with thick acrylics to give the,painting a nice texture and for the,brush i clean it in between colors but,if i want to make the painting more,interesting or want to add different,colors in a certain area i sometimes,just add new paint onto the brush so the,color underneath can shine through from,time to time when i apply the paint,i also like to start with bright colors,first and then add the darker shades on,top or around it this way you can clean,up any messy edges,so here i added black color paint mixed,with a little bit of purple paint all,around the yellow moon and then blended,out towards the lower part of the,painting,compared to watercolors where you have,to work from light to dark with acrylic,paint you can work from dark to light,because the paint is usually opaque so,you can always add brighter colors on,top to cover the dark shades below,and since you can't reactivate the paint,once it has dried you can just paint,over and over,and that's what we're going to do here,to keep the van gogh style i added,yellow and white color paint one stroke,at a time around the moon,i didn't wait for the paint to dry,because i wanted to create different,shades of color so some lines were a,little bit more gray some more yellow,but once everything is dry we will add,more clean lines,now for the hill i first roughly outline,the shape with blue paint and then,filled it in with different shades of,color the same way as with the moonlight,i used different shades of blue purple,and mixed in a little bit of black and,white from time to time,the fun thing about bingo style is that,you don't have to be super accurate when,precise with the paint application,so you don't have to add a certain color,exactly to one area and super precisely,you can add a little bit of purple and,black color paint here and there one,brush strobe at a time making it look a,little bit messy and it already looks,great,the only thing you want to pay attention,to though is the light so if a certain,area is brighter because the light falls,down on this particular area then you,should use more brighter colors,and the same goes for the darker areas,and that's what i did here,i added multiple darker colors such as,black purple and blue to the hill and,then added dimension with white paint on,the right and left side of the hill,since the paint underneath was still a,little bit wet the white paint created,different lighter shades on top,the same goes for the smaller hills on,the lower part of the painting,i really like van gogh's style because,for me his art looks so alive it doesn't,look super realistic or super abstract,compared to other artists but his color,choice and the way he applied the paint,to the canvas makes all the objects and,people in the painting look and feel,like everything is real as he just,caught a glimpse of his surrounding and,you can still feel how everything moves,and lives in that particular moment,what do you guys think do you believe,that,they had over 100 artists all around the,world creating every necessary frame for,the movie in the end they had over 60,thousand painted frames,it's so crazy,you should definitely watch the movie,because it was so beautiful,and that's kind of the reason why i'm,slightly obsessed with him lately and,feel like painting in his style,okay once the moon was dry i used a thin,brush to paint jack i slightly sketched,them out first and then carefully added,the lines using black acrylic paint,i don't know if i had too much coffee,but it was kind of difficult to create,straight lines but again we are painting,in van gogh's style so the lines don't,have to be perfect,to be honest halfway through the,painting i felt like i should start over,because for some reason i didn't,completely liked it but i kept reminding,myself that i can just keep working on,it until i like it even though acrylic,paint dries quickly you can still paint,over everything so when you don't like a,certain area in your painting just let,it dry and cover it up with new paint,once the paint was dried i went ahead,and added the fence above the small,hills using black color paint white and,also a little bit of purple and then it,was time to add the pumpkins first added,round shapes with light yellow paint to,create the base,and then added the actual pumpkin color,on top leaving out the areas where i,wanted to add the face,and to make the face parts more bright,and glowy i added white paint on top,using a thin brush,and then i just went over a few areas,again to add more brush strokes around,the moon you can really let go and just,trust in the power of each brushstroke,try to experiment with different shades,and thicknesses if you don't like it,just paint over it,and this so in today's video we're going to,transform this plain canvas into a piece,of halloween wall art,so the very first thing i'm going to do,is draw the ghost now i don't want this,to be the ghost kind of from a distance,because i want the face to be fairly,large on this canvas so instead i'm,going to do kind of a close-up of the,ghost,and i think when i have the line kind of,come out to here instead of here so now,that we have the outline of our ghost,the next thing that we're going to do is,paint the background of the canvas,so for the background colors i'm going,to keep it simple and just use some,black and this light brown chalk paint,so i'm going to start with the brown,color first,now i'm just going to kind of go right,up to the edge of this,and this doesn't have to be completely,perfect because we can,reshape our ghost later but i just want,to make sure i get it at least to the,edge,if not a little past,where i want the shape of this to be,and then soon i will switch,to the other color,so now i'm going to start blending in,some of this black,i'm just going to get it coming in from,the sides,here and i want to make sure i get the,sides of the canvas as well,okay and then,to the fun part of starting to blend,these colors together,so to get smooth smooth lines you can,kind of drag the brush by just holding,on to the end of it,that will kind of give it,a nice smooth circular look,so i think i have this where i want it,so i'm just gonna let this dry before we,move on to the next step,so the entire background is not quite,dry yet,but the areas right around the edge of,the ghost are so i'm going to start,painting in the ghost,so for this i'm just going to use some,white chalk paint,and now we're just going to let that dry,so the white paint is almost dry but it,is dry in the face area of the ghost so,we're going to start working on that,next,so i have a piece of brown tissue paper,and i'm just going to fold it over,and cut out an oval shape and then this,will give me two pieces,and then using a piece of black streamer,i'm just going to cut out a circle for,the mouth,then using some mod podge i'm just going,to apply those shapes,to the ghost,then using a little bit of toilet paper,i'm going to just apply a little bit of,mod podge to this,and start forming it into a little ball,now i'm making mine a little bit oval,shaped,then i'm just going to apply a little,bit of mod podge right above the mouth,and a little bit more,this,oval,piece,and then i'm going to apply that,to the canvas,and then use a little bit more mod podge,over top of that,this will give us kind of a,three-dimensional,nose,okay so then i'm just going to let that,all dry so using some black chalk paint,i'm going to add some accents so the,first thing i'm going to do is add an,outline to the eyes,and then i'm just going to paint on the,nose a little bit,so next i'm going to paint some flame,shapes in the eyes,and then i'm going to add just a little,squiggle to the top of each flame,and then just a dot in the center of,each eye,so the next i'm going to add just an,arch above the eye,and then just a few dots,on the ends of those,and then i'm going to add a line under,the eyes as well,and then a few little dash lines like so,on either side,and then i am going to add a line under,here as well just to,add some definition to the mouth and,then i'm going to go around kind of the,outline of the ghost but i'm not going,to be strict on following the exact edge,and i'm going to have breaks in the,lines just to give it kind of an,artistic look,and then i'm just going to add a few,dots here and there,just to continue,that look,so next i'm going to add some accents,with the soft green colored,chalk paint so first i'm gonna add kind,of a little swirl,right up here,and then a few other swirls,on the ghost as well,so then i'm just filling in the shape,kind of with little,accents just to um,add some more of this neat smoky green,color here and there,and i think i'm going to add a few dash,lines just right through here,so then using this color i'm just kind,of highlighting,and following the curves of some of the,edges just to kind of fill in the shape,a little bit more,and then i'm going to add some,glow-in-the-dark,craft paint,so this paint dries mostly clear,so i'm just going to apply some to,the eye areas,so i've added the glow in the dark paint,only to this little tiny eye portion on,both sides so now we're just going to,let this dry so next i'm going to use,some of this nutmeg colored acrylic,paint mixed with some mod podge,to make kind of an antiquing glaze then,i'm just going to stir that all together,so then i'm just going to brush some of,this onto,the picture,so this will just kind of give a,vintagey look to the pictures so that,the colors aren't quite as bright,and then we'll just let that dry,so for a second antiquing phase i have,some water in this cup that i'm just,going to add some black acrylic craft,paint too just going to add a little bit,and stir it together,so then i'm just going to brush this,over the canvas,so after this dries i'm going to take it,outside and spray it with this clear,acrylic coating in a matte finish,i just kind of like using this because,it gives the finished pieces a nice soft,finish so after i'm done with that i'll,show you the finished look,you

Ghost Party Step by Step Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners
Hi, everyone! I'm Jane and today we are going to paint a super-fast, super-cute ghost painting for Halloween.,This is a perfect painting for the absolute beginner, as well as your little art monsters.,Make sure you check out the video description below for a full list of materials as well as a link,to our Art Monsters Squad facebook group. If you don't have the matte medium I'll be using in this painting, that's perfectly okay.,It's completely optional for this one. But, I'll tell you why you might want to pick some up soon.,Now let's get started,The first thing we are going to do is put a very simple background on here.,This is a brand new canvas. I haven't gessoed it or anything.,I'm going to take my 1" flat brush, wet it in my jar, wipe it on the edge, and I'm going to take a paper towel,and just wipe a little extra water off of there. I'm not drying it off.,I want to use this brush a little bit drier because I'll be using matte medium to help blend the paint but,also help keep the color open a little bit longer or wet longer.,That's so when we start adding the ghosts we get a little bit of that color picked up into the white,,which is going to help them seem a little bit more transparent and ethereal.,I am going to put a little bit out on my palette and I don't want to talk about why my palette is already messy.,Just pretend like it's not,As you can see, the matte medium is white and it's much thicker than glazing medium.,But it won't effect the color of your paint and it will dry clear.,So, I'm going to load up with matte medium and notice I'm kind of squishing my brush into it.,That helps suck the medium up into the bristles rather than just coating the outside.,I'm going to come in and grab some phthalo blue and you don't have to use phthalo blue,,you can use any color you like for this.,I''m going to add some black... whoa...maybe just a little bit of white.,Now I want to make sure that my background doesn't get too light because then otherwise my,ghosts will get lost. So I'd rather have it be a little bit darker than lighter.,Notice I didn't mix the medium in with my colors.,I'm just going to go straight up and down to cover this background.,I'm not trying to blend out and streaks or blend my colors together, I'm just covering the canvas.,A little more medium and I'm going to pick up a different color combination every time.,This time maybe just a tiny bit of black and maybe a little bit more white.,I first painted this painting a couple of years ago and,the inspiration for it was that scene in Beetlejuice,you know where they're looking through the window and the door at the lost souls that are,kind of moving upwards past the window.,I really liked that movement. So that's where the idea for this came from.,And the straight up and down brushstrokes in the background are one of the things that's helping,give the illusion that the ghosts are moving upwards.,If you don't have this matte medium, like I said, you can just use your paint a little bit thicker,You can use slow-dri blending medium, if you like,but I like the texture of this matte medium better,and I feel like it stays open just a little bit longer but it doesn't get sticky.,I had a bunch of people complaining that the,slow-dri blending medium was getting sticky,and I haven't experienced that at all with this one.,It's got a very smooth consistency.,So there's our background and before it dries we're going to add some elements here so that it really,streaks into the white. Let me show you what I've been doing lately.,I've been keeping two jars of water at my paint station so I can use one like this to clean the paint off,of my brush when I'm done with it and then another jar to rinse it.,That will help make sure that I get all of the paint out and the when I'm done,I'll just wash my brush with just a hint of Castile soap,I have this large round brush, it says it's a #12 but again a #12 in one brand,might be a completely different size from a #12 in another brand.,I'm just going to wipe it off a little bit on my paper towel.,The size and shape doesn't really matter. Whatever you are comfortable with, whatever you have.,Even if you have a very soft filbert that's about this big. That would probably work for this too.,So what I'm going to do first is just add some swirls in the background.,I'm going to load up with my medium, quite a bit of medium.,and it's okay that I'm picking up a little bit of those colors in there.,and then I'm going to get just a little bit of white, I probably have 75% medium to 24% white here.,Notice I didn't blend it. What that's going to do is, in some parts it's going to deposit more white,,in some parts it's going to deposit more medium and give a real streaky, blended, ghostly effect.,I'm just going to kind of start somewhere,and just start adding some swirls.,Go back over it to soften it a little bit.,A lot of these are going to be hidden but they'll show up behind our ghosts here and there.,Just kind of crazy all over the place. Don't let them too terribly white though.,Because then your ghosts will lost in them.,See how it's streaking that background together just a little bit?,If you get something that's too bright or has too hard of a line, you can just grab some medium,and go back over it.,That kind of helps streak it in with the other colors,Now I'm going to get my blow dryer and I'm going to dry this just until it's tacky.,I don't want it to be so so wet when I do my ghosts otherwise they'll look a lot like these swirls in the back.,But I still want to draw a little of that color in so I'm not going to dry this completely.,Alright, so some of it is quite dry, some of it is still pretty wet and some of it is tacky.,See how you can hear my fingers sticking to it. But I'm not pulling off any paint.,So again with my round brush and my medium.,I'm going to use a little more white than I did on those swirls,So let's start with a ghost down here,I'm just going to come from the top of his head, around and down.,Just really graceful shapes. You can let them kind of fuzz and blur out a little.,I'm just going to make sure his head is filled in nicely.,I like that the medium is making some of the white transparent so that you can see,the background through it and in places it's picking up the background and blending it with the white a little.,Each ghost, I'm going to put in a slightly different position.,So I'm going to do another one here that's angled a little bit more.,We'll give him a little curl.,If your background is too dry, but you still want some of that blending going on,just pick up a little of the black and the blue or whatever colors you're using with your white,and you'll get a very similar effect. I just think it's a lot less work to let the background pull in rather,than adding it back in.,If you end up with a spot and you are using the medium or you're having a hard time blending the colors,you don't like a streak in there. Again, just grab only medium and go over it.,That will help you get rid of it.,Let's do kind of a small ghost,...kind of get rid of that blob...,let's do a smaller ghost up here.,a little swirl lines end.,Normally, I wouldn't like a brush this soft to do this.,But, I do because it's kind of skipping on the canvas a little bit and helping me get that,fuzzy look without having to work for it too much.,A little more medium to fill that in a little bit.,Then let's say that there's maybe a ghost that's already gone off the edge here.,So we're not going to do the whole ghost, we're just going to kind of do his flowy bits.,My white was getting a little muddy,we'll do one more little flowy bit over here, just a little.,Alright, I cleaned off my brush. Let's do their faces.,I'm not using medium for this part. I'm just going to load up some black on the end of my brush.,For his face, I'm going to just touch where his eye is, put a little bit of pressure and then flick.,So I'm not drawing a line, I'm just flicking.,and his other eye,His mouth is going to be the same, but I'm going to put a little bit more pressure.,Same thing on these guys.,As they get bigger, I'll put a little bit more pressure to get their eyes and mouths a little bit bigger.,Then I'm going to sign it.,There's your super-cute, super-easy, and a little bit spooky ghost painting for Halloween.,I hope you enjoyed painting this with me and I hope you're excited about using matte medium for blending.,I think it's something that you're going to be seeing in a lot of my videos coming up.,You can also use matte medium not only for glazing and blending like this but also for varnish after,you've completed your painting.
