🎃14 DOLLAR TREE HALLOWEEN PARTY IDEAS

hey guys welcome back to my channel and,though my makeup looks a little bit,crazy today I mean my sisters and my mom,are actually on our way to a witch fest,but I thought this makeup was kind of,fun and I thought this would be a good,time to do a little bit of an intro for,this video so in today's video I'm going,to be giving you guys a bunch of ideas,of ways you could throw the cutest,Halloween party for your kids using only,items from Dollar Tree so to start out I,want to show you guys a few different,decor ideas and ways you can spruce up,the house and give it a lot more of a,Halloween feel for the party okay so for,this first one I think it's important to,have a really cute spooky fun front door,that's really welcoming for the party so,I am going to be doing a mummy front,door just using some white streamer I,actually only ended up using one pack of,this so you only need one for the door I,also grabbed one of the tan creepy,cloths and then some of these large,eyeballs so basically all I'm doing is,cutting a whole bunch of these streamers,at the same length and then I'm just,taping them on either side of the door,here at the top I thought it would be,cute to add some of this creepy cloth,and I cut it just so it would fit around,the eyes so I did end up putting the,eyes just on the door and I didn't like,how plain it looked but I happen to have,some of this yellow and black craft,paper and I thought that if I just taped,those together that it would add a,little bit more to the eyes and the last,thing I did was just cut a few bats and,I stuck them all around the face do you,feel one kiss,this next one is another creepy thing,that you could stick in the front that I,think will just creep out the kids a,little bit as they come into the house,using to laundry baskets from Dollar,Tree I'm just giving them one really,good coat of black spray-paint and then,I go over it a little bit with the,metallic this is just stuff that I had,on hand so you don't necessarily need to,have both but I thought it would look,more like a cage and that's what I'm,creating with this then using one of,these creepy skeleton ghost things from,Dollar Tree I am just going to tie it,inside of the cage and then I'm going to,use some hot glue and glue it shut for,the last part of this I'm just using one,of the Dollar Tree chains and I'm using,this to hook to one of my little plant,hangers that I have sitting outside,okay this next one I feel like is a,necessity to have at any Halloween party,but I am just using two orange,tablecloths and then one of these a,little wall decor backdrop things and,this one's just the brick one so I am,just sticking this on to my window and,these actually just stick to the window,I use hardly any tape for this but I,just wanted there to be a little bit of,an opening and then I am going in with,this cute witch garland to finish off,the top and then I also cut up some,black streamer and then twist them,around and tape them at the bottom so,they need to have that really cute twist,to them so again this is just going to,be a cute area for all the kids to take,pictures up in their costumes,this next one is really cute I grabbed a,few of these witch hats from Dollar Tree,and then some of these bats and I am,just going to be hanging them for my,ceiling with the bats all you need to do,is tie some string around them and,that's literally all you need to do but,with the witch hats there is an extra,step so I tied a string to a paperclip,and then using a needle I just drove,that thread through the top but because,it's tied to the paperclip,that's what secures the string to the,Hat,this next one is one of my favorite,really simple DIYs I just grabbed a,couple of these black cobweb bowls two,of the little skeleton hands a,candlestick and a skull all I'm doing is,hot gluing all this together you can use,e6000 that is a little bit more secure,it just takes longer to dry but for this,video I just went ahead with some hot,glue,there is no area for me come from,and here it is all finished I think this,will be a super-cute candy bowl that you,could easily display as your centerpiece,at your party,this next one kind of serves as two,purposes it's a really cute decor idea,but it will also act as a place to store,candy or treats or anything that you,want at the party so using each of these,items I am just going to be making a,whole bunch of spider bowls that I will,have all over my table and I will have,different treats in each of them,and while you're on the subject of,treats we are going to be moving on to,all the cute fun treat ideas I'm just,mixing a whole bunch of treats from,Dollar Tree and I'm making my own little,Halloween Chex Mix Bowl this next one is,a really cute idea for drinks and using,some of these cute mason jars and using,some leftover black poster board I am,just going to cut out little faces and I,am mod pausing these on to the glasses,these next ones are some of the easiest,things to make you just need some,dum-dums some white napkins and some,rubber bands and then a sharpie and I am,just making cute little ghosts with this,my mom used to do this all the time,she always had these around the house,and sure enough when my kids saw these,they got just as excited as I remember I,got when she would make these for us,another idea with some suckers would be,using some bigger suckers so it can be,any kind that you want I'm going to,twist some little spider legs on there,and then glue some eyeballs to make,these cute little spider suckers,this last food idea is probably the,easiest all you need is some Reese's,peanut butter cups and some pretzels and,then you just stick these pretzels in,and you got some cute little witch,brooms,moving on to some game ideas I just,grabbed five of these cute little witch,hats and I'm gluing them on to a poster,board and we are going to be playing,which pitch with this I've grabbed a,couple of these glow sticks and this is,what we are going to use to toss over,the witch hats,now for this portion of the video I,asked my twins to help me demonstrate,how these games are to be played,this next one is pumpkin bowling and,just using some toilet paper from Dollar,Tree and a Sharpie I am just drawing,some ghost faces on and then we are,using a pumpkin to bowl I found this,really cute skeleton and we are going to,play pin the bowtie on the skeleton so I,am just cutting up some poster board and,making a whole bunch of little bow ties,I do think another cute idea would just,be to take all of the bones apart from,the skeleton and then just leave the,head on the door or wherever you're,playing this game and then have each kid,try to put the body part on to the wall,I think that would be just another,really fun way to play this game I saved,the best for last this is my ultimate,favorite idea growing up as a kid my mom,used to take treats around to all the,neighbors so that they could hand them,out to us as we trick-or-treat it,through the neighborhood now if you,aren't familiar with your neighbors or,you need an alternative way to play this,you could easily have someone standing,behind each door in your house or,throughout the yard whatever you want to,do and have the kids go,trick-or-treating inside of the house,again I remember this being my ultimate,favorite thing and it's like my greatest,memory at our Halloween parties I always,remember thinking how do our neighbors,know that we're coming I had no idea,always surprise me how they knew that we,were all going to be coming,trick-or-treating because it was always,like the 15th of the month you know it,was nowhere close to Halloween so again,if you didn't do anything else I think,that this is a must do for hi you guys and welcome back to my,channel or welcome if you are new here,my name is candace and today we are,doing my halloween party prep for 2021,this is one of my favorite videos to,make for you guys we do have a halloween,party annually every year um probably,for the past five or six years now so,it's really fun it's a fun event that i,i throw for our family and friends we,have a lot of activities for the kids,tons of candies and food and stuff like,that so i'd like to kind of share with,you guys some of the things that i do in,case you're having a halloween party and,you need some ideas of some activities,and stuff that you can have at your,party as well so you guys i had to put,my witch's hat on like come on,so cute oh i would wear this all year i,love it okay um stay focused sorry,so today i'm going to share with you i,have a haul so a whole of all the items,that i use some of the items that i use,for the party that i got new this year,um that will be from the 99-cent store,target and walmart so that'll be coming,up right after this intro so stay tuned,for that if you want to skip the haul,and you're just here to kind of see the,setup and some ideas i'll give you a,time stamp of when that stuff starts in,the video,um but i'm really excited to share that,with you so i'm going to share with you,i do like a candy table every year so,i'll show you how i set that up how i,decorated a craft table for the kids um,i'll show you kind of the layout of the,food area we use the island so it's all,spread out on the island but i have some,decor that i use that's really fun for,the kitchen and for the food area so,i'll show that i'll show you all that as,well,um during our halloween parties we do a,lot of activities like one year we had a,magician so i always try to have like,some kind of something for the kids to,do i think this year we're gonna do like,a big blowup slide outside that they can,play on and then of course the craft,table um i like to have little things,for them to do that way if the parents,are kind of relaxing wanting to sit and,chill and the kids need some,entertainment they have plenty to do,while they're here at the party so i am,so excited to share all these ideas with,you make sure you hit that thumbs up,make sure you are subscribed to my,channel and let's get into this video,okay so let's go ahead and get into,the halloween hall so i have multiple,stores here um we have a little bit from,the 99 cent only store a little bit from,walmart,and target and like one thing from,amazon that i'm going to share with you,guys so i'm just going to get right into,it because as you can see we've got,quite a bit of stuff to get through so,we're going to start over here at the 99,cent only store so i haven't been there,in so long and you guys they had such,fun stuff now not everything is 99 only,when i went some stuff that was like,4.99,2.99 the majority was 99 only but don't,let the name fool you so um some things,that i got from there are these fun,little backdrops so this is like a brick,a gray brick it's kind of like a spooky,little brick,wall that you i'm gonna put over the,candy,um table that i'm gonna make it just,kind of gives it this spooky a little,decor in the background and then i also,found this door cover which i thought,was really cute let me try to get the,glitter off there there we go um but,it's a halloween door,cover it glows in the dark and look how,cute it is so i'll probably put this,over the office door just to kind of,hide that room in there just because,it's kind of a catch-all and a mess it's,usually where i store like the bends and,stuff that i'm gonna put everything away,on so i'm gonna try this out on that,door but it looks really fun so i got,this,these were 99 cents um these fun little,glow creatures so this is the spider,ones,and these are the centipede are they,centipedes or millipedes i don't know,but um super creepy they glow in the,dark i'll probably put these just around,maybe on the candy table or where we,have,the food set up i know it sounds creepy,but they glow in the dark and they're,super fun so those will be cute,i found these little skull shot glasses,they have them in silver,white and i believe there were black,ones or purple ones too,these were 99 cents i believe and it,comes with three and they're just,plastic,perfect for your party guests though if,you don't want to like use a bunch of,glass stuff and then these fun little,wine glasses or drink holders they have,the skeleton hands,and then i ended up finding this balloon,kit,it says happy halloween it has the bat,and a bunch of little balloons i,actually have some helium left over from,my kid's birthday,so hopefully if there's enough in there,that i can,blow these up with it but it was really,cute this was 5.99,now these were from amazon it was just a,set of,spiders they're actually they came with,actually three,big spiders,um and i put them outside but it's just,some faux spider web some little a bunch,of fake little spiders and then these,two big spider webs over here so i'll,put those somewhere in the house just,for extra decor for the party to make it,nice and spooky,so now we're moving on to walmart,these no i'm sorry these are target,dollar squads they may have these again,i've had these since last year i hope,they still work they're a dollar they're,just some glow sticks and orange and,purple so i'll put those on the craft,table or the candy table for the kids,um i like i have a ton of candy at our,parties but i also like to have items,that are non-candy because not all kids,can eat candy um so i definitely always,try to keep some fun stuff for the kids,who aren't able to eat candy or if they,have like a diabetes or anything like,that so um these are some items that i,found these were at walmart 98 cents,halloween sticky stuff they're those,little,creatures on a string that stick to,everything they look really fun so i got,two packs of those that came with six,each,oh i got three packs of those so those,are fun and then these fun little,stretchy skeletons it comes with 12 and,they're all different colors and you can,stretch them and pull them and they were,only a dollar,um these i found last year at the end of,the season,and they were five dollars i may have,found these two years ago but i didn't,put them out last year so this year i'm,gonna put them we're gonna have a craft,table so that the kids want to do some,crafts throughout the night they can um,these are just they were five dollars on,sale i love a good sale um but they're,just hanging little halloween ornaments,how cute is that and you can,color them or paint them we are going to,use paint markers i'll show you those in,just a little bit but i got two sets of,those so those were a fun find from,walmart always check that clearance,aisle after the holiday and get stuff,for next year these are the cauldrons,that i made my kids halloween baskets,out of this year i'm gonna use them for,the candy table so they will hold candy,or they may hold this fun little mist,maker that i found at walmart so you put,it in a bowl with a little bit of water,and it missed so this will be fun to try,i may,do this and maybe have it in the middle,where all the food is and kind of have,it misting or somewhere fun i don't know,we'll see we'll play around with it and,see what works,so now we're moving on to target i got,the majority of the stuff from target to,make our halloween charcuterie board um,the craft table the candy so let's just,get into it so for our charcuterie board,i'll just go through and show you we're,going to do a mix of cans sweet and,salty that's how i love to do my,charcuterie boards but this is more of,like a snacky one we're not going to,have any of the meats and the pepperonis,and the cheeses i'm mostly just little,snackies so we've got some cashews whole,cashews lightly salted,and these are really for decor unless,someone enjoys them and they can eat,them i don't like them but they're,really cute to have on your security,board like look at that face come on so,i got two of these there's three each so,there'll be six little pete pumpkins,that i can decorate the board with um,these are for the candy table so i got,two packs of each of these and this is,the design for this one it just says boo,and this has a cute little spider lady,on it look at her come on um these are,from targets i believe they were three,dollars a piece and i believe they come,with,three so those are for the kids i can,fill up their candy bags save it for the,night before they go home kind of like,their take away gifts and then anything,from the craft table that they make they,can take home so these and i also end up,getting some more of these i share these,on my instagram at the beginning of the,month i'll share my instagram,name on here somewhere on the screen so,you can follow me there because i share,some fun stuff over there too as the,kids are using it but they really like,these so i went ahead and got two more,of these it comes with four little,wooden,um,figures and you can paint them but for,the party it's different if it's just my,kids and me we can paint whatever but,for the party we're going to end up,using these,paint markers from the mondo llama,um,it's just a little easier so you don't,have to have the water and the paints,and the paint brush you know what i mean,like,they'll still have fun making it and,maybe i'll have like some glitter pens,or something also i have some of these,are in glitter that i bought for school,for my kids school project so i'll have,those out too but it's just a little,easier so you can do the paint marker on,this,or on this so instead of having to deal,with paint brushes and water and mess,and spill this is just a lot more fun,they can do it quickly decorate however,they want and take it home with them,so moving down here i ended up some last,year i actually made these,um by scratch this year i am just we,have a lot going on with the kids after,school activities so i'm going for the,easiest route these look so cute i love,the color um the pretzel rods from the,hide and eat brand from target these,will go on the charcuterie board,these will also go on our charcuterie,board dark chocolate almonds i like to,have a little chocolate in there a,little salty a little sweet these,cookies will also be on our sharkery,board and so will these my son loves,these cookies he's obsessed he'll be so,excited when he sees them but i like to,have some bigger items to put on your,short cuteery board to take up a little,more space still fun and cute but um if,you have a bunch of little stuff here,there it's gonna look super crowded kind,of overcrowded so,um some marshmallows these are great for,a sharkery board because you can fill up,any empty space just fill in with,marshmallows they're,white so they kind of go with whatever,thing you're going for as you can see,we're doing like an orange theme a,little bit of chocolate popped in there,um so,i got some oreos to go on the,charcuterie board so i buy them in this,kind of pack because i'm not going to,use an entire pack of oreos on my board,and that way i can use like two of these,if i need to refill them i can and then,if not my kids can take these to school,or have them for snacks throughout the,week as well so if you can buy things,like this without having to buy a huge,pack,um and you can just use them,individually it makes it a little easier,so i went ahead and got those,so this is not for the party i'm,actually gonna let my kids make these,this weekend but i found them at target,let me get you closer mad scientist,gelatin kit berry gelatin mixed with,decorative candies it comes with six,petri dip dishes,that you can make this spooky little,jello it looks so fun so it makes six,i'm excited to try this with them we'll,probably do it this weekend for a fun,little,just something to do and eat and snack,on so i bet they'll like that,how much was this i will share prices i,think that was five dollars i'll share,prices,i'll pop them up on the screen you'll,probably already notice that by now but,i will um,so these are for the craft table as well,i believe these were five dollars excuse,me um they are the mondo llama brand,create your own frame kit how precious,are these,it comes with everything you need little,eyeball stickers,the little foam skeletons and ghosts and,i got three of these so that'll be six,um that way if someone wants to do a,frame if that someone doesn't want to do,one of these or if someone wants to do,one of these and they don't want to do a,frame or if they want to do this or if,they want to do all three i don't care,you know what i mean live your life so,these are super fun and very easy no,mess just stick,the stuff on your frame take it home put,your picture of you and your bestie in,it and,yolo okay and these are just some oh,these junior mints are going to go on,the security,i can't even save it,sure cute reward there it goes um just,to give it some more of that dark,chocolate in there and also,graham crackers,and mini chocolate doughnuts,so this is for our candy table and these,two these will go on the charcoal board,as well,so it's going to be,a very large circuitry board but for the,candy table and we're going to have,reese's kitkats twix i get a variety of,the non-chocolate candies with the,lemonheads nerds the sour bite fruits,and the sour bright crawlers,and then sour patch and swedish fish,rolos that i already got into delicious,um so this will just be a little bit for,our candy table also we have cupcakes,that are going to be made so tons of,sweets you guys it's one day of the year,we live it's going to be so much fun we,have friends and family coming so,super excited so yes i will post um,whatever i can link which i believe is,just going to be able to do this i mean,i can probably find some stuff on target,that i can link for you um so you can,use a link down below and then prices,for you all so,all right,there it is,i also wanted to show y'all our,halloween pajamas this year so the whole,family got some me and my husband and my,kiddos and they're just these cute,little,very simple skeleton pjs these are from,target i got them from target.com,um i didn't see any in store but you may,be able to find them at yours like how,to get mine offline so this is my son's,my daughter's,hubby's and me we'll probably wear them,this weekend,and do like a fun halloween movie in the,media room do some snacks popcorn,and wear our pjs so super fun it's a fun,little tradition that you can have with,your,family it's super simple but the kids,really love it,okay so i'm starting the candy table,area so i always start with doing the,what the backdrop first,basically the wall because once i have,the table up there it's kind of hard to,measure where you want everything to,make it look even so i'm just using,those 99 cent store um decorative items,to outline this wall and then getting my,candy table to set up all the treats,oh,i don't know where to go,is,so now i'm going to focus on the table,itself as you can see i use random items,to give this table some height and some,dimension and then i just use another,black tablecloth over it and kind of,keep it wrinkly just to give it some,texture i'm also going to add some of,those faux spider webs just to make it,look a little more spooky and then start,adding the candy and the um non-candy,items,foreign,is,this is,oh here we go,in this overflow,i don't know what's wrong cause i'm,already,oh,okay so this is our candy area this year,you guys i kept it very simple i didn't,go too crazy um basically i just used,this like brick paper from the 99 cent,store you can see it's y'all it was 99,cents so you're gonna it's not gonna be,the sturdiest of paper or wall decor,which is fine it's just for a halloween,party it does not have to be perfect,this is not the met gala we're just,having fun and then i just outlined it,with the keep out um streamers i have,these three little cardboard skeletons,i've had those for many many years they,have lasted,so many halloweens and then i ended up,adding these fun little spiders that,kind of give it like a 3d effect,so i just used painters tape when i was,hanging up the stuff that's super light,i used painter tape on these because,they are kind of light as well um i may,on these i use like a like a poster,board kind of,i don't know if you can see it's kind of,thick but it's made to hang posters,it's a little more sturdier because the,spiders were a little more heavier um,but you can use if you have so we have,like that eggshell wall and the paint,will come off if you use the wrong type,of,tape or whatever so just make sure you,use the right stuff for your type of,paint in your type of wall so i just use,painters tape i may have to adjust it,and redo it if it starts to fall um but,as long as it lasts for the party that's,all i care about sorry y'all i have,hocus pocus going on hold on let me turn,that off okay sorry i had to turn off,hocus pocus i always watch it when i,decorate um but this is the little candy,table that we have set up so,because we're gonna have i mean it is a,lot of candy normally i do a lot more,but we're gonna have cupcakes this year,and cookies and the charcuterie board,tons of sweets so i just kept it kind of,simple um i have these two like taller,clear jars,on the side and this is holding like,this like the actual candy candy and not,the chocolate because sometimes i feel,like you can if you put the candy candy,with the chocolate one starts to taste,like the other does that make sense i,don't know if anyone's ever had that,happen but so i keep them separate one,here one here and then i have the,kitkats and twix in one little spiderweb,bowl i believe i got these from the,dollar tree,one year or the dollar spot i may hold,on let me see well i'll i'll look in,just a second and try to see where i got,those from um and then the reese's and,the rolos over here and then this i got,from the dollar tree last year and it,lights up so it's a fun little light-up,element for the kiddos,um i put those glow-in-the-dark creepy,crawlies over here my kids love creepy,crawlies you guys like they're not,scared of them they think they're so,cool so i figured they would go good,over here on the candy table and then,our fun little skeleton guarding our non,candy items these are like our glow,sticks,our gummy throwy things i found these,eyeball pink um,ping pong balls and there was some,play-doh left in here from last year so,if you would like to save your stuff,that doesn't get used and you can use it,every year eventually it'll all get used,you know when the kids make their gift,baskets so,i love doing that but this is what we're,doing this year for our little candy,table,turned out cute i like it,do,so,okay so here is our super sweet a little,bit of salty charcuterie board for our,guests for the halloween party so,basically,i just kind of throw things on here you,guys there's really no rhyme or reason,for me i don't get too crazy with it i,do have um just to add height i'll have,like some little glass bowls i did use,the glass pumpkin and put that autumn,mix and a few marshmallows in there just,to make it look a little more full,and then basically i just go from one,end to another and kind of fill around,places the stuff that is like the looser,items you can definitely use that to,fill in,empty spots um but we just have some,cashews the oreos going around the bowl,some marshmallows to fill up space,these are my son's favorite cookies so i,got some over here and some right here,graham crackers to kind of balance out,some of the color um these fun little,peep,marshmallow pumpkins just for some fun,little faces they look really cute and,then the spider web cookies and the,ghost we got some ritz crackers to kind,of bring in more salty these are,chocolate donuts and the bag that they,came in it wasn't the best so,whenever i,make this for the party on the actual,party day i'll probably use some better,donuts i'll have to look maybe a dark,chocolate those are milk chocolate um,and then these are those pretzel rods,that were from the target hide and eat,brand,and yeah so this is it oh and then the,dark chocolate almonds and the junior,mints just to kind of get those,to kind of break up some of that orange,so i think it turned out really cute i,really like it the kids love it all the,guests love it it's just a fun where you,can grab and go,if you have a sweet tooth or if you want,something salty,super easy and fun,it's 2 am and i can't fall asleep cause,i'm not tired,i'm thinking about the days we used to,shine when we were young,i,so just to kind of give you an idea,on what we do,for the halloween food so basically i,just have two runners that i doubled up,and i made it go all the way from one,into the other,over here is where we'll do we're gonna,do chili and frito pie so we'll have our,chili cooking in the crock pot over here,because there's a plug so it always,stays on this side um i keep these over,here just for like,to help with the mess i guess like if,you spill the chili or whatever it's,fine i don't really if it gets on this,it's not a big deal just wash it but,this kind of helps to kind of save if,there's spills or anything like that and,it also helps um,like where you can put you know chips,and you know an appetizer here chips and,a chips and dip or appetizer here the,cheese and cracker tray,or the fruit tray whatever it just kind,of like little markers for,whatever you're doing and then i added,our little,bubbling cauldron i got this from at,home a few years ago i've also seen it,in orange so it's really cute look at,the dishes back there i have to do y'all,sorry,um but it's really cute so i thought it,would be a fun little centerpiece for,our halloween party,and then of course our charcuterie board,and but we'll have other desserts over,here as well,and then it's kind of just line up and,get your food so make sure you guys this,is where we're gonna wrap up today's um,halloween party prep with me um i was,gonna share the craft table with you,guys but i cannot find the 5 Adult Friendly Halloween Party Games!

hey guys and welcome back to another,episode of vlog today is the 15th I've,been kind of planning to do this video,for a while and I figured that today is,the day I would do it since I didn't,really have time to film much here's my,video of 5 fun Halloween party games for,adults this isn't to say that kids,couldn't play these games but I just,think that these are games that adults,would also find fun which is kind of,hard to find sometimes none of these are,really board games one of them does use,cards but beyond that these are games,that pretty much anybody could play,without having to purchase really much,of anything maybe some stuff from the,dollar store so game number one is,something that I've seen suggested on a,lot of websites and honestly I would,love to buy this but I think that it,wouldn't really work that well in our,house it's a game called murder in the,dark basically what this game is is you,take the Joker the ACE the king and the,Queen from a deck of cards and then you,take random number cards to make up the,number of the rest of your guests and,you hand out the cards at random people,who get the cards look at what they got,and whoever got the Joker is the,murderer,and then the ace is the detective the,King is the detective the first,detective dies and the Queen is the,detective at the same detective dies and,then once everybody knows who they are,they keep it a secret they don't tell,each other you turn off all the lights,in the house or most of the lights in,the house that's pretty dark and,everybody just sort of wanders,and when the murderer gets somebody,alone in a room secretly they whispered,to them you're dead from this point on,I've seen it two ways one way as they,count backwards slowly from ten scream,fall over dead then the lights get,turned on and the detective and they get,one chance to try and guess who the,murderer was,if they're incorrect then they are also,dead and the next detective gets a,chance to solve it if all three,detectives fail to solve the murder then,the murderer wins the other way I've,seen it played is that when the murderer,catches somebody in a room and they,whisper you're dead that person stays,quiet and they just freeze in place or,lay down on the ground quietly and they,stay that way until another guest finds,them and then they yell out and the,whole process goes the murderer actually,gets a chance to commit more than one,murder which actually makes it harder,for them to get away with as well game,number two is a Halloween scavenger hunt,one that you would use your cell phone,camera to take pictures and or a video,of things instead of actually collecting,them and for adults it's kind of a fun,idea if you can have everybody like,drive around town if you find landmarks,recognizable businesses statues and,instead of just saying you know go here,take a picture of pumpkin make like,riddles so people have to solve them put,the riddles in a different order on each,team's list so that they don't end up,necessarily at the same place at the,same time and if you're a little more,adventurous than just doing photos you,could do a video version where you need,to interact with an object or a person,or store or say go into a Tim Hortons,and buy a Halloween doughnut and then,have somebody eat it on video something,just a little more complicated than,simply taking a picture of a pumpkin,that way too you can use the photos,and/or video and put them up on display,for the night and,adds a little bit of fun customized,entertainment for the evening game,number three is a horror movie survival,game or have you learned anything from,horror movies you have a list of,questions and you can find all kinds of,these online I found one with a simple,Google search where it is different,horror scenarios you would divide your,guests up into groups or teams and they,have 30 seconds after hearing the horror,scenario to come up with their plan but,the speaker then announces to the rest,of the room to implement and survive,this horror scenario and then the judge,would award points based on how well,they think that person solved the,scenario some examples of questions that,may be in this game are what is the,number one sign that it is time to move,out of your current house or you hear,noise in house you decide to investigate,what caused it and discovers only the,cat what should you do game number four,this one is a little bit more,spectacular and I think that I might,actually play this game at my upcoming,Halloween party this year is candle,fortune-telling so what it is pretty,simple you get a bunch of different,colored candles maybe even just like a,pack of multicolored birthday candles,and stand them all up in a candle holder,of some kind you assign a different,value to each candle such as green means,wealth and red means,and purple means career who knows then,went into time you take your guests put,a little blindfold on them and spin them,around until they're a little bit,disoriented point them towards the table,and have them blow out a candle and,whichever one that they happen to blow,out is supposed to indicate what their,future holds for that year you could get,a little more in depth with it and try,and come up with deep explanations for,it but I think it's pretty fun idea and,game number five is monster guess who,this one is pretty simple and makes for,a good icebreaker if you're having a lot,of people over who don't necessarily,know each other you simply take a piece,of scotch tape and put it on your guests,back as they arrive at the party take a,marker and write on their back the name,of a classic movie monster or some type,of Halloween related persona that would,be recognizable they have to go around,and simply ask yes or no questions to,the other guests until they can figure,out who they are,what the name on their back is so it,might be like Frankenstein Dracula,Godzilla who knows it makes a pretty,good icebreaker game anyways so that is,my list of five fun party games for,Halloween parties for adults I,definitely would play any and all of,these and in fact maybe implementing,some of Planning My 2021 Halloween Party with Tips and Tricks - Plus I Make a Spooky Cocktail

hi,everybody it's me jackie armand i'm here,with another video,um except this time we will not be doing,a craft video,this time we're going to be doing a uh,halloween planning halloween party,planning video,um a few of you,showed interest in wanting to know how i,go through the process of planning my,halloween,party so um i thought i would just kind,of give you a glimpse of it,and you can kind of see all of the stuff,that i'm going to make,for my party which will all be most,likely individual,craft videos um so you'll kind of get to,see a sneak peek along the way,of that kind of stuff normally,years past i have normally just written,down,all of the stuff that i'm going to do,for my party in just a regular old,notebook,but this year i found this uh,planner on etsy you can see,and um it is really awesome,i'm probably going to use this kind of,thing from free,from now on um i will link the,shop that i got this planner um,in the description of the video uh,basically it,is um a digital file that you will,buy it's only seven dollars and you buy,it and you download it,and then you can print everything uh the,pages and all that stuff um i in,and the nice thing about it is you can,print what you need there's a lot of,pages in here that,of things that i didn't really need for,my,personal preference but that's what was,cool about it,um and then if you have a,wonderful husband who works at the ups,store,uh you can get it uh,spiral bound like i have but,um they all she also has uh,things available um in the downloaded,um files that have,you know things for if you're gonna put,it in a binder,so she has like kind of things for the,side that where you can,you know write what it is and stuff like,that,but um yeah i'll put a link to her shop,because it's super cute this planner's,super cute and she has planners for like,other things too not just halloween so,um,it's awesome so anyway um i guess before,we get started,i thought it would be kind of a fun to,do like a,kind of a little something halloweeny,other than just,you guys watching me plan my party,um and so i thought we could make a kind,of like a spooky cocktail,uh before i start we start planning,the party and then uh so um i think,we're gonna go do that,and then uh we'll get to we'll get to,planning,so i'll see you in just a little bit in,the kitchen,okay from here in the kitchen um and,we're gonna make this it's called the,witch's brew,cocktail um i've never had it before so,but it looked,really neat so um what you'll need to,make this,is a martini glass or whatever kind of,glass you want to put it in,um a cocktail shaker,um some blue carousel,some vodka,ignore the giant size of this bottle,and then some grenadine now um,oh and then,some pineapple juice,now you could turn this into a mocktail,if you wanted to,um i would say instead of the vodka use,um like some sprite or 7up or something,like that,and then instead of the blue carousel,you can find blue carousel syrup,that doesn't have any alcohol in it at,the grocery store,it's usually with the um,other like cocktail mixes and stuff that,aren't alcoholic,so you could make it,without any alcohol if you want to,which that blue carousel syrup is really,good,in soda just fyi,we did actually use it uh like a couple,years ago,at a halloween party we did we did a,fallout,slash post-apocalyptic halloween party,and we um made the nuka-cola quantums,and we used the blue carousel syrup,and added it to some soda and,to make it blue and it was actually,pretty good,um okay so to start,you want um oh,i need the measurer,thing can you get it for me,okay,okay um so first um,you need to take your cocktail shaker,and add,ice this is ice,my name ain't ernie no more it's ice,to me,if y'all didn't thought that this video,was not gonna have any hocus pocus,references in it you're dead wrong,okay so um take our vodka first,and add it to the cocktail shaker,i'm doing this is for one uh,cocktail so i guess adjust accordingly,if you're gonna make it for a bunch of,people,um it says two ounces of vodka,you guys will soon notice that i am very,clumsy in the kitchen,so uh there's a reason,i don't have my own cookie,okay so we got the two ounces of vodka,uh one ounce of the blue curacao,and one ounce of pineapple juice,and half an ounce of grenade,that's good now,we're gonna pour it in the,it's like glass so cool looking,look at this it's like a dark,purple that's so cool okay,taste it,there we go,actually i just now that i was thinking,about i think i actually put a little,bit,extra vodka in i wasn't supposed to,i used instead of two of the little,i used a bacon a little so actually i,think i did,two and a half,ounces oops,it's good though it is really good,and it's cool if i had thought about it,i could have put some dry ice in here,and that would have been really cool,but i didn't think about it oh well but,okay,well now that we've made our cocktail,and we're on a spooky mood,uh we can go over to the table,and we will start working on planning,the party,okay see you guys over there hi guys,uh we're over here now on the kitchen,table um,with our spooky cocktail,and we're gonna start,um i'll show you the process of how i,uh fill this out and also like what i,have,already in here um and,i'll even give some advice,of things that i've noticed or have been,really,worked for me in the past as far as like,halloween parties if you're planning to,do,your own um along the way,so okay we'll get started all right,okay um so we first open up,we first open up our um and the first,thing,says preparations um,and costume and that's kind of where i,started i kind of had,um my started planning,my costume out i drew it here i wrote,all the things i need i'm,going to be doing a mrs lovett,this year and my husband will be doing,sweeney todd so i've got all this,it basically you can draw it out you um,can label what is what right here um,this has a little to do like things that,i need to do,like i need the i have bought the blouse,and so far that goes into the corset and,the corset,is in the mail and when that comes in,i'll probably work on the blouse and,i'll probably do a video of that,because what i need to do is i need to,dye it a darker,almost black color because it's and it's,kind of see-through and then,sew some black lace to it um and add,some red tool,on the inside um a neckline,so i'll probably do a video on that when,when the you know stuff comes in the,rest of it kind of is just,buying things which um i will say,that there is an app out there called,wish i don't know if you've ever used it,but um it is great for costuming it has,a really cheap,uh well i say cheap but inexpensive,because the materials aren't necessarily,cheap,um inexpensive things like corsets and,other stuff that you normally buy for,costuming that would normally be super,expensive,um like i just bought a corset on there,for this costume for 20,and the reason they're less expensive is,because they come directly from china,um and so it takes a while so you kind,of have to,if you're like me and you know your,costume,um months in advance then it's great for,people like,me because i can just get the stuff that,i need ahead of time,um but um,it has been really great over the years,for things i have not spent a whole lot,of money on a bunch of stuff that,normally i would find anywhere else and,it would be really expensive so,um,and so just putting that out there,wish really great,but also beware they do have they,lots of things run small on there too so,you really check the reviews,and see what people say because,sometimes you have to order there are,times i've had to order things up,size um because they're chinese sizes,um i had another blank here for my,husband's costume that i'll probably do,later,now here starts the craft projects the,funds the stuff that i,love so what i've gotten already in here,um,i've got a hotel hotel style visitor,register,i kind of want to have a little area,where we've got a little,um you know mailboxes we've got,a little thing that holds the key holds,keys,um,lydia and uh what you want some,she says no way um,um uh and has like a sign in book,uh reservation signing kind of like,entrance to hotel is kind of,what i want to go for um the next,project that i want to do is a hotel,entrance sign i kind of want to have,this,um at the window that,uh is at the front of my,the door to my apartment um,it'll say the hotel which i'm thinking,might,just be like the armand hotel which is,our last name i don't know i haven't,decided,um and uh i'm gonna paint that on a,wooden board so that will probably also,be a video,um and uh,i want to kind of buy a no vacancy,neon sign which you can get on amazon i,have a few things,on amazon that i've got on a wishlist,um okay so,um here's some more projects that i've,not filled out yet and i thought i would,do,week one to kind of um,show you how i go about it um we're not,gonna do this for all of them because,it gets kind of boring i'm sure um,for a lot of you guys but i'm just going,to pull up my pinterest which most of,the stuff is on a pinterest board,uh-oh what happened,okay um so,this one project that i want to do is a,kind of a hotel luggage cart,i thought maybe i would put it out on,the balcony that's on in our,uh apartment um,and uh there was this tutorial on,on pinterest that was pretty easy um,so all right so basically,where i'm gonna write um i'm just gonna,write right here,all the things that i need for the,project,so i need a piece of plywood,a 3 4 inch,pvc pipe,a three-fourths inch dowel rod,fours swivel coasters,or casters,gold spray paints,four screws and a drip,all right so basically,and i'll kind of show you all the,picture um right here just to kind of,show you how it,looks um it seems that basically,you have these pvc pipes that are the um,sides of the luggage cart and then the,hula hoop is what this,top part that fits into the pvc pipe is,and then the bottom,is just a piece of plywood with some you,know wheels on it,and that's pretty much all there is to,it um,with that which is really easy and,uh that's kind of thing i like something,easy that achieves something cool,that looks like maybe it took a really,long time but it actually didn't,um and so that's just kind of how this,is i this is the kind of thing i like to,do,i have like a picture of it that i,printed from pinterest and,um this is just so that i can,when i go to do a project i can kind of,just check off the things that i need,for it and i don't forget anything,um and it just helps me,stay organized and like i said normally,i before all this,i just did it all in a spiral notebook,and it was,it was organized but it wasn't and this,is really nice,um i think i'm gonna use this kind of,thing from now on,but uh yeah so that's just pretty much,what i do i just go through and do that,i've got,like some fake elevator doors that i,want to do,um covering uh,these um the the laundry,the doors to the the laundry area that i,kind of want to cover,and it might also do um,serve a dual purpose as also like a,backdrop for people to take pictures in,front of because i like,having that too at my parties um,i'm gonna make some fake luggage which,there's a tutorial on that with using,just like cardboard boxes that you would,find at like hobby lobby,that have lids um and you just kind of,make fake luggage out of those which was,cool,um one of the biggest prod big really,big projects we want to try and do is an,endless hallway,if you've ever been in the haunted,mansion ride at disney world,uh or disneyland they have an effect,which uses mirrors and it kind of makes,it look like when you look down this,hallway that the hallway goes on forever,and it doesn't end,um this is probably gonna be the big,ambitious project that we do there's,always one really big ambitious project,that we try to tackle um,a couple years ago the fallout party it,was the,the vault door we made like a really big,vault door over the,uh front door of our apartment it was,really cool and that was kind of like,the big,thing um and this will probably be the,big big thing,um we'll probably put it leading into,our bedroom because,that will be somewhere that actually we,don't want the guests to go in,um because my cat will be in there,so she can't run out the door when,people come over,and i have a few extra pages here for,more craft projects if i think of,anything else,um this page is some spooky halloween,songs,i have a playlist pretty much already,done um,i sometimes will add or might take away,to it from it for,certain things for a party but this year,i think i'm going to use this page,because because i want to,do a party game which i usually just,like to try and do a party game,not something that is mandatory but,something that is,that guests can participate in if they,want to,and then other guests don't have to and,it doesn't interrupt any of the party,just goes while the party's going on,stop it um and so this year,my thought was that i would um,amidst the playlist of my halloween,party playlist,uh insert um,different like themes and scores,from famous horror movies uh,for scary movies and throughout the,night,um you know announce uh you know say,okay,uh get give the guests p pad and paper,the ones that are going to,participate in the party and just tell,them like,every 15 minutes or so um,we will a song will play uh,amidst the playlist and um,you have to guess what movie it's from,and,then whoever has the most right answers,surprised and that's usually what we do,um,we usually always have a costume contest,too and we have little trophies for that,um i'm thinking this year i'll probably,do,uh like i found some like big,keys that look like like old skeleton,keys that are on amazon and they have,like gold,silver and bronze ones and i might get,some of those for,and let those be be the uh,the trophies um so we've got the section,for halloween decorations,got what's going to go in the living,room outside you know i kind of already,told y'all some of that with,the crafts that i'm doing but and i'll,probably write this down,later they also have a page for the,floor plan for the decorations,and once i start making the the crafts,and everything,uh i'll probably start doing that i'll,right draw out the layout of my,apartment and,put um where everything i think is gonna,go,um so then we've got the party planner,this one's got the schedule of the party,like the party the time,you know here's the the little the,schedule of what's going to happen,during the party that will probably be,something,i fill out later um we also got a,section for the guest list again,probably later um,okay now this is what's really fun for,me too uh,food and drinks so we got,um you know food and snacks list,uh non-alcoholic drinks alcoholic drinks,now i always try to have about an,equal amount um or actually sometimes,more of a non-alcoholic drinks than,alcoholic drinks,um uh chris and i,tend to have a lot of friends that don't,drink a whole lot and so,um and we have a few friends that do,and uh so um we usually try to make some,kind of a punch or something like that,that is,alcoholic and then we have one that's,not alcoholic and then we have a few,alcoholic non-alcoholic drinks too that,people can drink,um because even those the people who do,drink,um we find you know you you'll do some,and then,especially the older,you get uh you don't,drink so much when you're out and,usually,we'll find that our guests will have a,few alcoholic drinks and then they want,to just,do non-alcoholic for the rest of the,night and the uh,non-alcoholic drinks tend to go faster,so it's,always a good idea to just have more of,those,um but i'm gonna go through,all of the food that i plan to make um,if that seems like something interesting,that you guys would want to see,tutorials on how to make some of this,stuff because a lot of it i,will will make ahead of time,that is another thing i have found that,is,has been very helpful over the years,with planning halloween parties,is um find,things that you can make ahead of time,maybe one or two things that you would,make the day of,um but otherwise,your best the the best thing that will,take so much stress off of you,is making recipes that you can make,ahead of time and store,in the fridge or whatever and i was you,know kind of,spend a night every week leading up to,the party making a different dish,and putting it aside um,and uh um,same with like punches and stuff like,that but um,so okay so we'll get into the,food kitty,no oh,okay um so here we've got the different,recipes i've got pictures,of um what i want to do they're mostly,pictures from,uh pinterest uh because most ideas come,from my board my pinterest board,um i have found that um,one of the best things to do is um,uh not have that many sweets as far as,the ratio between sweet and salty things,or savory things,i found maybe two sweet things and then,the rest of the stuff you do is savory,and then,you know kind of have a bunch of little,snack foods,finger foods and then maybe have one,main dish um,which i'll get to go through all that,because sometimes i do have guests who,ask if they can bring something and i am,totally welcome to guests bringing,things i think it's great when,uh guests want to get creative and they,want to make some spooky food,and usually most of the time it's sweet,so,um then you're overloaded with a bunch,of sweet stuff and i've had that happen,before so i usually make one or two,sweet things,call it a day and then the rest of it is,mostly savory,especially guests who are maybe drinking,alcohol want savory,things to eat um so with the,the desserts i've got these bone sugar,cookies,um i've got these uh chocolate covered,cherry mice um i was kind of trying to,go with,also like you know going with the theme,the haunted hotel i thought,um i would think of things that were,maybe classy,spooky halloween or foods that you would,see it like a hotel dinner party,or something like that but with a spooky,twist so,you've got the bone cookies we've got,these you know there are mice,in a haunted hotel so you've got these,little chocolate covered cherry mice,um which i've made in the past and,they're pretty easy,um uh,and easy to make ahead of time like i,said um,then we've got this uh spooky cheese,board um,which i have also done in the past um i,had a uh,murder mystery dinner years ago and,had like a spooky halloween platter it,had just like a lot of dark,fruits and meat and,spooky looking cheeses i even took like,a brie and cut it into a coffin,and stuff and it was it was a hit so i,think i'm gonna do that again,um uh these like snack eyeballs which,are,like mozzarella balls with green eye,green,olives in the middle and then uh they've,got like prosciutto around it to,kind of make them look creepy um,and like a lot of these i've already,written over here,has like all the ingredients that i need,for each one,um and it says on here prep time,and instead of writing like how long it,is i've written like,what i'm going to do the day of and what,i'm going to do the night before,a couple nights before and keep in the,fridge,is kind of what i did so um,got these coffin sandwiches um,which you know speak for themselves,there are some things i haven't finished,writing in here,but then we've got these also,uh fig hearts which are basically dried,figs with,um goat cheese stuffed in them and then,you wrap them in prosciutto and put them,on a skewer and they kind of look like,hearts it's kind of creepy looking um,we've got this recipe called rest in,peas,it was something i found on the martha,stewart website,um it's like these croutons that are in,the shape of,uh tombstones and then they're in this,um dip that's like made with frozen peas,and stuff kind of looks like a,kind of a hummus-y texture and i i'm not,a huge pea fan but this actually looks,pretty good so i kind of want to try it,um,and then for like the main dish like i,said uh earlier,um it's always good to have a main dish,a lot of times,your guests especially if you're having,an earlier halloween party which,ours usually starts at seven um,we uh you know guests will be getting,off work,and if they work on a saturday which is,usually on a saturday but,um and then they're getting their,costume on they're coming right over and,so usually they're hungry,and um the finger foods and stuff just,like not enough,and i've just found in the past that,it's always good to just have like a,main thing,like this year i'm doing i guess the,smoky beef and black bean and corn chili,and it kind of just has like fall colors,in it looks,kind of spooky um that's what i think i,was going to do,um like a couple years ago when we did,the,um fallout party i made a rad rad stag,stew um when some and some biscuits,that was good um a year before that i,we i did a like voodoo swamp uh,voodoo on the bayou swamp party um,and i made a big ol thing of gumbo and,it just it gets devoured and it's always,it's good to keep your guests on full,belly too especially if they're drinking,um it limits the amount of people puking,at your party which i can say i've only,had,that happen one time out of all the,years i've had a party,so i think that's,awesome uh and then okay so for the,the drinks this year um,normally i'll make like a couple of,punches or something like that,um and i always allow my guests to bring,uh alcohol the alcohol they prefer or,whatever they want to do,um but i usually make like a punch or,two,um this year i want to do this it's this,little potion bar,is what it's called and i've had this on,my pinterest for,a few years and um i've always wanted to,do it but i haven't,had like a theme that it went with,really well so i hadn't done it yet,um but i think i'm gonna do it this year,and it's,like these little bottles um these like,beakers,that are very like you know mad,scientist you got the erlenmeyer flasks,and the,and the beakers and stuff and,you have some big ones that are filled,with like your bases,so what we've got for base is we've got,like apple brandy,is in one vodka's in another apple,cider's in another and then i think club,soda,is in one and um,and then those are your bases and then,you have all these other like little,smaller beakers and smaller,flasks that have these syrups in them,and there's like cinnamon syrup ginger,syrup honey,maple syrup pomegranate syrup and,rosemary syrup,is what this recipe had um and,basically those will have like numbers,on them,and uh you'll print out these little,recipes,that are quote potions that are probably,named they're named,you know something spooky or mad,scientist,mad scientist-y and uh,they'll be the you know instructions on,how to make the potion,and it'll say you know add this base and,then add,potion number two um and add potion,number eight,and stir and you know it'll stuff like,that and so guests can make their own,quote,potions and then of course you have like,a,um you know a guide that tells you what,is exactly everything and of course i,would label,the things that are alcoholic so that,guests know what's alcoholic and what,isn't,but this is a fun thing for guests to do,um there was one year i did something,similar to this it was a blood bar,um i think it was my first halloween,party i did this and i had like two,containers,and one had a gin and cranberry juice,and then another one just had like vodka,that was colored red,and i had them look like they were you,know um,these like hospital blood containers and,they had were labeled with like,oh positive and a b negative or,something like that,and uh and then i had all these other,little um containers of other things,that were labeled something spooky,and i had recipes for drinks that were,named cute things like um,like hemoglobin and they could make,their own and it had like you know add,some o positive blood and then add these,and it had all these other little things,you could make your own and i think,that was a really fun thing for my,guests to do and this is kind of a,similar,concept and so i kind of want to do this,this year i think that'll be fun,um but basically after that you've just,got like,they've got a little section for grocery,list um this is always good,the you know couple weeks leading up to,the party,i'll buy maybe all the ingredients that,i need that are,non-perishable a couple weeks ahead and,then maybe the week before,i'll get all things there like the dairy,products and stuff that can't stay in,the fridge for,super long um and,and then we've got the shopping list,this is probably,going to be where i write things that,don't necessarily,aren't in the craft section um,things that are small like some,decorations that i want to put around,things i need to buy,for decorations that are just going to,go around but they're not necessarily a,craft,that needs to be done um,one thing in particular like i always,like to make,hand out invitations even though i will,have like a facebook page,um i like to do handout invitations too,because i think it's fun,um that's like themed with the party and,um,you know in the past like i've done like,last year we did uh,or not last year the year before when we,did the fallout party we did like a,vault tech,um admissions letter which was cool,for my voodoo swamp party i made little,um voodoo dolls and i had like the,little invitation,pinned to them and that was fun um,and it's just like you know fun little,things that i guess my guests get to,keep if they want,to remember the party um and i think,this year i'm just gonna do kind of like,a,uh everyone like buy a bunch of little,those little decorative skeleton keys,and everyone's gonna kind of have their,their hotel room key and,and um it'll have like a tag attached to,it,and and i'll have some things in like a,little packet that,you know talk about the hotel or,whatever it'll be it'll be something,cute like that,and i'll probably write the things that,i need for that um in this section,um and then just the end of here is just,you know you got your to-do list,probably some like last minute to do,things that i need to do you got your,calendar october calendar um,you got your week planner which i will,probably,which you could print out a bunch of,these if you needed to do like,weeks in october but i i think i'm just,gonna use this for like the week leading,up to the party like,what things i'm gonna do every day,leading up,and then uh this is it's halloween,so it's supposed to be like the night of,halloween,but our party's not going to be on,halloween but regardless i'll probably,use this for the day of the party and,we've got your little schedule here and,i can write down like the things i'm,gonna do when i need to do them,like the day leading up to the party and,uh yeah that's pretty much it that's all,there is to it,okay well that's that um that's pretty,much my planning process,i don't know if that this was a boring,video to watch or not,i feel like someone like me with ocd,probably finds it really,fascinating to watch how someone,organizes something i know that that is,how i am,but uh uh i don't know,but um and maybe this helped a little,bit with,um for some of you guys who are maybe,thinking about starting,about planning your own halloween party,you just don't know where to start,um this is a good way to start um,like i said i'll leave a link to this,planner because it's really cool,this is awesome i think i'm gonna use,this for years to come now whenever i do,this kind of a thing um,and uh and i hope i offered some like,cool advice,um for things that have worked for me um,y'all kind of got to see a sneak preview,of,uh like the projects i'm gonna do um,pretty much all of these crafts will,probably have a video attached to them,so you guys will get to kind of actually,see how we make the stuff,too um so i'm kind of got to go see a,sneak peek,and if there's you know uh you know some,of this food like i said,i make nights before um,so if that's something you guys want to,see too,um you want to watch me do the tutorials,of how to make,the halloween food while i'm making it i,can totally do that so if that's,something you guys want to see too,you can do that um,and uh but yeah that's pretty much it,that's,how my planning process goes this helps,me organize,everything i have everything written,down and then i don't forget anything,um because there have been years in the,past that i had a project that i wanted,to do and totally forgot,about it 7 Fun And Spooky Halloween Activities

hello spooky friends i know we are all,excited for the 31st we cannot wait for,a halloween festivities but if you're,like me you probably believe that,halloween is the whole month of october,and not just the 31st and i wanted to,share a tradition that me and my family,do we do seven days of halloween spooky,fun activities to keep us in the spirit,of halloween and it's not about spending,a crazy amount of money either you can,get creative and use things that you,pretty much already have on hand,because i mean at the end of the day,that's pretty much what halloween's all,about yeah it's the spookiest time of,the year but it's about having fun the,most important thing about halloween is,having fun so hopefully after you guys,watch this video you're going to grab,your friends or your loved ones and be,like oh we got seven days of activities,to do before halloween so yeah let's,jump right in,turn your patio or backyard into a,spooky campfire sit around a fire with,your friends family or significant other,and tell spooky stories our favorite is,where one person starts the story with a,couple of sentences and then you pass it,off to the next person and they continue,the story with a couple of sentences and,it continues until you reach the last,person,not that we ever need a reason to dress,up but you don't have to wait until the,31st to dress up for halloween get,creative and do a spooky photo shoot and,create some memories all you gotta do is,pick a theme and then bring that idea to,life with some photos you can recreate,one of your favorite movie scenes or,pick a spooky theme having fun figuring,out the costumes getting dressed up and,then you let the photos begin for us,this year we're doing a theme of its,halloween night in ghost town and the,ghost children are out trick-or-treating,who doesn't love a good game night turn,your favorite games into spooky ones,play spooky trivia including horror,movies and all the monsters you can,think of in urban legends do a spooky,scavenger hunt with halloween items play,a murder mystery game or our favorite,guess the movie each round each team of,two gets three movies one teammate,guesses the movies while the other,teammate is trying to either act out use,one phrase or one word to describe the,movie on a one minute timer for each,movie we totally stole this idea from,blockbuster,not that we need halloween to be an,excuse to watch scary movies but it is,the best time of year to enjoy our,favorite scary or halloween themed,movies but don't just make it a generic,movie night get creative and make it a,whole experience instead of popping some,popcorn and throwing it in a bowl grab,yourself some popcorn bags put the,popcorn in there and then get you some,popcorn butter and add some red dye and,now you got yourself some bloody popcorn,you can create your own concession stand,set up a pallet on the floor if you have,kiddos and now you're ready to enjoy an,awesome spooky movie night,i actually really enjoy baking but this,is the time of year to get everybody in,the kitchen and have a blast making some,cookies cupcakes or whatever sweets,you're in the mood for have fun,decorating and get creative trying to,create a spooky masterpiece with your,baking we love shortbread cookies so,that's usually my base and then we try,making faces or anything halloween,related and then once they come out of,the oven we use icing fruit sprinkles,and whatever else seems fitting to,create some spooky cookies forget bacon,cookies for santa halloween bacon is,where it's at,whether you're an adult or a child,playing tag and hide and seek can be,quite fun make it spooky by turning off,all the lights and only giving the,person who is it a flashlight to try to,find the hider it's almost like you're,in your own horror movie trying not to,make a sound while the killer is looking,for you in this dark creepy house and,then he finds you and now you created,your own jump scare this is way funner,than you might think and then you end up,having a blast and being like ooh i want,to play this again,no halloween eve is complete without,decorating or carving some pumpkins this,is one halloween tradition i'm sure most,of us already do getting creative and,trying to see what masterpiece your,pumpkins will turn into it's not only,fun but it's something everybody can do,rather you're carving a spooky face,drawing on some cool artwork or getting,abstracted with some stickers we all can,participate in pumpkin decorating plus,it's bad luck not to have pumpkins for,halloween,hopefully you guys will give this a try,october 24th through the 30th and you,guys will have fun leading up to,halloween you'll probably make this your,own tradition and then add your own,activities in there but i just wanted to,share with you guys what we do to have,fun for halloween and hopefully you guys,enjoy it like i said before too you,don't have to break the bank you know,what i mean to do any of these,activities it's with a lot of stuff that,we have and not to be corny but that,takes the focus away from trying to,spend money and now you can focus on,what's really important which is,spending
