oh,there's those bright The Summer's old,the Mr bright Moonlight I would talk,time to decorate for this is Halloween,are you ready let's wipe your nose bye,say bye hello everyone thank you so much,for clicking on today's video this one,is going to be short and sweet and fun,and I hope it brings you a little,inspiration and a little excitement for,it's Halloween fall season so if you,guys know me then you know I am a huge,fan of Halloween I don't think there's,anything better than Halloween other,than Christmas of course but I always,get an early start on decorating and,life has been crazy lately and I just,figured I had the time to do it this day,and I just spent the afternoon doing it,and I'm really glad I did even though it,was what like September 17th or,something because my kids have been,enjoying this so so much and I love like,walking into the front door and seeing,all the decorations so,um it may not be your jam to decorate,that early but you know by the time you,guys see this I think it'll be,appropriate I'm going to start by just,power washing the entire porch getting,all the cobwebs and dirt and things like,that off and then we're going to get to,decorating if you did not go out and buy a bunch of,new stuff this season I pretty much,worked with everything I already had the,only thing I purchased were some,pumpkins and some mums that I recall oh,and a new fun little guy who's going to,be sitting in my chair but that's it I,like to pick things that I'm gonna like,for years and that are pretty just,standard decor and that I can mix and,match things I either find in the dollar,spot or one of my favorite things to do,is clearance shop at my grocery store,and they're like seasonal Decor aisle or,Hobby Lobby or something like that when,they have the end of the season sale so,after Halloween you go and you scoop it,all up for like half off it's amazing so,I just didn't really want to purchase,anything new knowing I had exactly what,I needed this year,my feet,I've got it right and I got it wrong,but I learned my lesson hanging on,come sit here with me by the fire,and let it go for a little while,so be,starts falling let my fingers walk over,your head,we,hit you,and always in your head,when I was young at the control,Monroe,and heavy metals seem to be,the only thing that was for me,and I saw the angels,and I still remember parts of it,a little yellow gloriously,sake,all this time,foreign,last year I bought heirloom pumpkins at,like a fancier health food store I won't,name them and they were super expensive,and I spent so much money on them which,was dumb on my part but I actually got,these from my local grocery store and,they were I think 5.99 a piece and it,didn't matter the size which compared to,what I paid last year I was thrilled I,only got a handful instead of a porch,full and one of my mums was on clearance,and I think it was just because it kind,of grew in a wonky shape it was like,eight dollars and the other one I paid,full price but I really enjoy setting up,like the straw bales and the pumpkins,and the mums like this because it,creates height and some spaces for me to,like work with and set up my Halloween,decor but then once Halloween is over,all I have to do is take away the decor,and my porch is ready for fall so it,works out really well,um yeah and I just like the setup,leave,oh my soul tight early light clear,say my name,say it twice this layer of,everything,in water,foreign,go on the longest journey far away,forget every word we've ever known,the sunrise sunset hopes and dreams,time I can tell,me,some of you might remember when I made,these little bats on my Cricut last year,I just put them in a baggie with my,little sticky tack and I'm using again,this year on my door I love these little,things they were so easy to use and I,think they make such a big impact when,they're up so if you guys are looking,for a craft and you I mean if you have a,Cricket it's great and but even if you,don't,um just get some cardstock and cut your,little heart out and just make sure you,save these things because you know,they're only used for a season and as,long as you're packing them up they work,really well the next one,foreign,y so I'm just going to show you guys,what my porch looks like during the day,and then what it looks like when the,lights you know in the sun kind of goes,down I didn't do it when it was,completely dark but I love the way the,lights twinkle and everything I hope you,guys enjoyed today's video thanks so,much for watching and I will see you hey guys and welcome back to my channel,today we are going to be decorating my,front porch for halloween and i am,so excited to take you on this adventure,with me i'm going to be putting up a 12,foot skeleton in our front yard i am so,excited to take you along,on that journey with me and then we are,going to actually be,redoing our porch so i'm thinking we're,going to do a couple skeletons i'm,thinking some witches brooms,i'm thinking some spiders but i'm,thinking big spiders not little spiders,like last year,and definitely not over the top spooky,you guys i have four little babes and i,definitely don't want to scare them,um so we're gonna make it fun we are,going to do a couple new things but i'm,also going to link,everything down below so don't forget to,check the descriptions because i will,link everything i have and if i miss,something,don't forget to ask me in the comments,down below you guys because you know,i'll hook you up,now to get started i'm going to actually,clean the porch i'm going to actually,remove all of the fall stuff i'm,actually going to be doing a video,on how i pack up my stuff when i'm done,using it so i'm going to show you guys,that,not in this video but in another video,and then,we're going to clean everything and then,we're going to get set for halloween if,it is your first time here,my name is lauren i am a mama of loud as always,there's a ton of construction,so we've got our mums here they're,looking kind of okay we're going to,clean this hay up i'm actually going to,reuse this i think i don't know though i,don't know,and then we're going to take this down i,think i'm going to put a giant spider,here,which is brooms are good i'm going to,switch that out i might i don't know i,kind of love it might keep it,um not entirely sure we're going to do,here but,it still looks pretty cute got an,extension core because you know it's,halloween we're going to need at,and then my kids got this at target the,other day and we couldn't,help but put it up it's so funny it's a,partying ghosts,and then i'm definitely going to stick,with my pumpkin theme this,year i've got to run to the store and,pick up a couple more of those,and then i'm thinking like big spider,up in this area or big spider up in that,area,so maybe spider spider,maybe a spider over there i'm not sure,all right guys let's do this,so as always to get started i am going,to pack,up my ball stuff on this porch and get,it clean,i am kind of a little bit regretting,taking my hay,out of the plastic but i think i'm going,to reuse it on the stairs,i am not including that in this video,but i am going to include it,in my thanksgiving fall porch decorate,with me,but dang man this is gonna be a little,bit of a mess to clean up,so i'm gonna wipe everything down with,my mrs myers cleaning day,this spray is my jam you guys you know i,love this,and i have to tell you a full disclaimer,i did actually wash down the front porch,two weeks prior to filming this,so things are pretty tidy but i'm gonna,give it just another wipe down because,it just makes everything look super,shiny,and then we're gonna get rolling,for those of you who aren't feeling some,cleaning motivation today,i got you skip ahead to about six and a,half minutes and we're gonna get,decorating there but i have to tell you,i needed a little cleaning motivation,the other day was watching a couple of,my favorite youtubers,and i put on some really great music for,this so it would get you guys inspired,to get your porches,cleaned and get decorating for halloween,but if you're not feeling it,no problem just skip ahead to six and a,half minutes,i get a lot of questions about these,rocking chairs i have them linked down,below they are available,on overstock right now and i'm pretty,sure they're on sale they were about 150,bucks 160 bucks something like that but,definitely check those out if you guys,want to pick up these amazing rocking,chairs they're super sturdy and i just,love them we've had them for four years,and they've been so good to us,okay guys so i got these two at target,this i actually got at home goods,it's the martha stewart brand and they,light up and i think they're going to,look,really cute here and here and then i,already introduced this guy we've got,some of these giant spiders here,and then these i picked up at,the dollar store last year,and i love them but i can't figure out,what to do with them so we're gonna,hopefully be using these today and then,we've got a ton of pillows a nice,welcome sign,these are really cute they light up,and then here,this great sign,from home goods which is broom club ride,or die i love this,a couple more spiders bring a giant,spider web,and then a ton of other spider webs,these are also from the dollar store,we'll figure those out next i'm probably,going to put them where the giant,skeleton is and then in here just a,bunch of ghosts,i keep thinking that i,could have done something but now cauldron here this is where i,think i'm going to put candy even though,i know we're not really doing halloween,i'm still going to put some out this,year but,i'm loving how this area is turning,that you'll out your way back to me,cause i've been stone cold,since you left me here so come home,why won't you reappear things that i,said,came,i really love these skulls it kind of,reminds me of my husband and then my two,boys and then me,and my two girls and it also looks,really similar,to how i did my front porch last year,where i tucked all the cinderella,pumpkins,i did three and then kind of super glue,didn't super glue hot glued,some bats up them but i love how this,turned out,i need to get a little bit more stuffing,for around the skulls i might even add,some um spider webs there but,so far this is looking so cute,already packing come with me,i'm not really asking we'll get away,to a place where we don't know,so while i was decorating i got a,surprise delivery,from farm girl flowers which is my,favorite favorite favorite flower place,i only send these flowers,to anybody i know they're the best and i,got a beautiful arrangement from one of,my closest friends shiva we went to,college together,and i love you so much for sending this,girl it,is like made my day it made my house,smell amazing,what i love about farm girl flowers is,they always are wrapped in burlap,a beautiful little gift sometimes they,come with stickers or pins,and i just love it so if you have a best,friend out there send her a sweet little,note like shiva did for me,and definitely use a farm halloween,if you guys saw my entryway decorate,with me for halloween this year i did a,little bit of a tutorial on how to,spread out the um spider webs so,basically what you do and,here i'm actually doing this much,thicker because it's outside but inside,uh you'll see that i pull it a lot more,but what i like to do is,cut it into a piece that's about the,size of the area you want to cover,and then keep pulling the spider web,apart,and then cut away the pieces that you,don't need and then just keep pulling,and pulling and pulling,that's what gives it the like really,real effect of the spider web,but girl no matter which way you go,these things are such a pain in the butt,tattoo,i wanna get to your clothes gotta get it,right now,i wanna push all the limits with you,right now,so watch your feelings the city,screaming we're not coming home tonight,we're living quick in the world gotta,get it right now,people talk and tell what you wanna hear,now,we're living quick in the world them down below but the,salem bruco i mean that,is amazingly perfect with our theme,today,we only need,i'm just going to add a little bit more,of this spiderweb around the front,window here,and just really kind of bring in that,halloween vibe i don't want it to be too,decorated so,i want to add a little bit of spookiness,so i'm just going to do a little bit,more throughout this area,and then i'm going to be adding a giant,spiderweb,and i'm not quite sure what i think,about it i cannot wait to get your guys,advice and see if you like,home it we're living quick in the world,gotta get it right now,i got a lot of questions on this mat,last year this one i'm throwing down the,gingham one i actually got from hobby,lobby a couple years ago but they still,have it and,the other mat i actually picked up at,michael's and i can't find one i love,just as much and then these pillows i,picked up at the dollar spot at target,so there was the cutest skeleton rocking,chair old lady you guys probably saw on,my instagram at mrs lauren nicholson,and i didn't get it because i already,have a ton of rocking chairs and frankly,i don't have the storage to be storing,all of this halloween stuff i mean the,12-foot,skeleton is enough but i ended up just,putting one of these,other kind of cheap ones i got at target,and i think it turned out great,now i'm just going to add a couple,little pumpkins and then we're going to,get started on this giant spiderweb,i love how this looks with a couple more,witch's hats here and now i'm gonna hang,this giant spiderweb you guys have to,tell me in the comments down below,if you like this i'm considering taking,it down it's still hanging right now,but i kind of wanted to set it so it's,kind of skewed off to the side with one,giant spider and then four baby spiders,for,um just kind of make it fun for the kids,they haven't seen this part yet so when,they came home and saw it they were like,this is the best i love it,and i thought it would be kind of cute,but i don't know i don't know that i,love it tell me in the comments down,below do you guys,like the giant spider web or no,i'm just going to add a couple finishing,touches just to do some amazing storage in your house,because this box is,really big um but i did pick this up at,home depot,and i know that it's a bestseller for,them and we had two in our county and,they sold out i'm it,especially with this giant fountain it,just fit perfectly,and i can't tell you all of our,neighbors came over,and it was so much fun we're thinking,about covering in flowers for dia de,eslos thank you,we are outside today because we're going,to be working on some Halloween,decorating Transforming Our fall front,porch into a spooky outdoor decor,display and I'm so excited I'm a little,sad to be saying goodbye to our fall,display just because I do think it's the,best one we've ever had and I've Loved,this setup but I'm so ready for all of,the spooky decorations and just,decorating in a really fun way for,Halloween I know some people say it's,tacky but we love Halloween at the South,Derek's in the shed just messing around,trying to dig out our Halloween,decorations you see my Skelly here he's,gonna have to bring out what are you,looking for babe,extension cords okay well we've got a,bunch of stuff in here most of this,stuff is waiting to go into a garage,sale but uh we have all of our like,outdoor decorations back there so,Derek's gonna be pulling some out okay I,am so sorry to just cut that last clip,abruptly I was clearly still talking but,our neighbor actually let her dog out,and as much as we love Kuma she is in,everyone's business barking incessantly,and very loudly so I didn't want you,guys to have to deal with that in the,background of that clip but really all,that I was saying is that Derek was,sorting through the shed and making sure,that we had pulled out absolutely all of,the Halloween decor that we've been,collecting and all of the lights,everything that we thought that we were,going to need and while he did that I,came back to the front step front porch,area and I am going to put away our fall,display this was a little bittersweet,because I really loved what I came up,with for fall this year it's unlike,anything else that I I've ever done I,did film that and share the video,already so if Halloween isn't your thing,and you prefer more fall Decor I'll spooky,season and Halloween decorating I,seriously look forward to it all year,long it's basically like a second,Christmas and so we like to do it big we,collect Decor all year long and season,deals and clearance finds and all of,that and we just try to make our display,better and better every year I love the,way it came out this year though and I,am just beyond excited to share that,with you,usually we would probably use a leaf,blower for this I'm sure Derek would,prefer that but all this mulch is like,soaking wet and kind of stuck to the,sidewalks here because for the last how,long has it been babe five or six days,six days we've been dealing with,residual hurricane weather and lots of,rain and things so I have all of our old,plants like from our fall setup over,here and I'm thinking I might use them,on our back patio because we don't,decorate our back patio for Halloween,so I might do like the fall setup out,there because I really loved this this,year especially,these plants these greens I don't even,know what they're called but they were,so pretty with all of the moms and then,we have a ton of stuff over here too,like all of our patio furniture and,things because it's still soaked it,didn't rain at all yesterday but it's,still just soaked so we're trying to,kind of dry it out since there is so,much sunlight today all of our spooky,Decor Derek brought out here and I'm so,excited about it we have a pretty good,mixture of things that we had previously,and then a few new items like all of,these pre-carved light up pumpkins are,from last year our poseable skeleton I,actually used him inside last year but,Derek had an idea to use him out here so,we'll see if that works out and then,this is our door knocker,we also have quite a few pumpkins from,last year but then also some new,planters that I found at Target this,year look at how cool these are I think,I'm going to try to reuse our white mums,in here we did pick up some huge,beautiful purple mums because we have,some purple Halloween lights and so we,thought that that would complement that,better than the like orangish red moms,we had,in this guy we found him at home sense a,few months ago now and I just thought he,was so cool I couldn't leave without him,I actually posted this in my Instagram,stories because Derek didn't want him,and I said tell me I should buy this and,like 100 said buy him so we haven't,decided on a name you guys let me know,what you think his name should be but,I'm just so excited I'm thinking that,we're either gonna use him like right,next to the front door or in the space,over here and then in this whole front,flower bed we're planning on doing like,a little graveyard so we've got a ton of,tombstones this is a mixture of things,we already had some that we picked up at,the end of season clearance last year,and then a couple from this year we've,got these like,fence steak things that we got from,Target this year just a bunch of stuff,so we do need to take some things out of,the wrappers we're about to do that now,and kind of lay it all out so that we,can get an idea of what we're going to,do and if you want to see all the,specific things that we're using I'll do,my very best to link absolutely,everything that I can down in the,description box,okay so I know that you are about the Cs,sorting through everything taking a lot,of things out of their packaging,unwrapping them taking off price tags,things like that really we just wanted,to get everything spread out on the,driveway here so that we could easily,see what we had what we were working,with and go straight to it instead of,having to like dig through bins and,things like that but I wanted to take a,second to let you know that only a few,of the things that you are seeing here,were purchased this year most of what we,have we've been collecting over the last,few years and especially even some of,the things you see us taking out of the,packaging we got at the end of season,clearance last year because it's been,since last year that we've been talking,about what kind of display we wanted to,set up this year we seriously do look,forward to it every year we love talking,about it daydreaming about it and it's,just something that Derek and I share in,common and can be excited for together,but I just wanted to mention that,because I don't want any of you to think,that you have to go out to the store and,spend hundreds of dollars to decorate,it's okay to slowly build up your,collection over time that's definitely,what I do we found this tree at,Michael's the other day after how long,were we looking for one babe,a month Derek had decided that he wanted,one of these and then by the time he,decided we couldn't find any this was,the last one at Michael's hold on for a,minute it's a light up LED spooky tree,it's got purple lights and this these,little fabric pieces that to me look,like bats Derek said he wanted to take,them off but I like them so we might end,up keeping them but anyway it's a five,foot tree which means it's gonna be,pretty substantial I think we're gonna,put it right there to kind of like have,an end to our graveyard instead of just,like a random drop-off type of thing but,anyway we are super excited to unbox it,and see what it looks like all put,together as we were setting this up I,was so impressed with the quality of,this it's the first time that we've ever,purchased an outdoor Halloween,decoration from Michael's especially one,that is pre-lit and I don't know what I,was expecting but I definitely wasn't,expecting this it was super easy to put,together very tall and substantial and,just really high quality for only paying,like 45 dollars I know as it gets closer,to the season they can be hard to find,in stores but I'll go ahead and leave a,link down in the description box I'd,highly recommend if you are looking for,something like this we were gonna go,ahead and put that tree in place and see,how it looks,but one of us lost the rubber mallet to,be able to put the stakes in the ground,who you think it was Derek,anyway,so while Derek's looking for the rubber,mallet that he lost,he brought the um,ladder out for me and I've got these,decals that I'm gonna put up in the,window if you've been around for a while,and watched us with our front porch,decorating you know that this window,always causes us so much trouble it's,just such a struggle to try to figure it,out because we don't technically have a,porch here so this is really a flower,bed that we've just cleared out and that,means like all of our Decor just kind of,comes to like right here and then we've,just got all of this wide open space and,can never figure out what to do with it,so we picked up some of these this year,I found them at Michael's and all the,Halloween things are currently 50 off so,they were like three dollars and fifty,cents but anyway I got two packets of,these they're just these little spiders,I feel like you see like the bat version,of these a lot they just kind of stick,with this little like Sticky Thing in,here,but anyway I got two packages I'm not,sure how many I'm going to need but I'm,going to position them across this,window and then also possibly over there,what do you got Derek down the mountain,you found the Mallet okay so you're,gonna be able to put the tree up I'll,still do the window while you're doing,the tree,while I was putting these up I was,asking Derek's opinion about where he,thought that they should go and how they,should look originally I wanted to put,them on the inside of the door but,you'll see me close that here because I,realized you would be able to see the,sticky things if I put them on the,inside and I definitely didn't want that,so they had to go on the outside they,are made out of cardstock I don't know,why I was expecting them to be more like,window clings but they are not that,material they are card stock and they go,on with these little sticky squares they,were super easy to set up get positioned,all over the windows and I love the way,that they added to the display the only,thing I'm nervous about is the material,I'm not sure how they're going to hold,up in the weather but for being only,three dollars and only needing to last,one month I think that we shouldn't have,too many issues,foreign,hey thank you,thank you,so sorry for the bad lighting it's just,the position of the sun right now but,this is what we've got going on in our,front step area I really love this how,all of these spiders turned out I did,add some around these parts of the door,I know it's hard for you to see in the,daytime because our door is black but,then also over there and I love our door,knocker we got him last year and he's,just so fun I also really like this,doormat that we got from Kirkland's and,it was surprisingly affordable I think,like nine or ten dollars for that,although it may need a layering rug,because it's just not quite big enough,but I am having some trouble with this,so these purple mums didn't stand as,tall as I thought they would and don't,stand as tall as the other ones so I'm,wondering if I should switch those out,and then also just the positioning of,these pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns we,need to have at least one jack-o-lantern,over here because we're gonna have some,in this flowerbed area that's going to,be a cemetery so they need to make sense,but Derek said he wasn't like the,biggest fan of all these pumpkins over,here in the positioning of things so you,guys let me know do you like this would,you change it up how would you change it,up any suggestions we are totally open,to your ideas the good thing about this,is it's super easy to switch it up if we,decide that we want to do something,different but this is what we've got,going on right now so we're about to,start working on this area which is,going to be our little graveyard,Cemetery I know that it might seem a,little strange to see me setting up,flowers in a spooky Halloween display,but trust me you guys it definitely,added to it and it would not look the,same if we didn't have these when I was,talking about getting some flowers and,using Planters Derek was like what do we,need flowers for Megan we're going for,like spooky creepy Halloween,but with the way that our house is set,up we really needed something to,establish like in a beginning and an end,of our display mostly because we don't,have enough decorations to be decorating,like our entire house all of our bushes,the entire yard so this is just what,made sense is that we needed a start and,stop point we also have a ton of purple,lights and that purple tree that we had,gotten some spotlights that you'll see,later on but everything else was like,orange because of the jack-o-lanterns,that we have and the other decorations,so we needed something to make those,purple lights make sense and the purple,mums were it they are beautiful like,stunningly gorgeous in-person very full,and Lush and they really did just bring,everything together I loved it plus we,were going for a little Cemetery display,this year and I know flowers are in real,cemeteries so to me it definitely makes,sense I love the way that it turned out,but the last thing that Derek was,wanting to add in here was the skeleton,we actually found this I think two years,ago at Walmart and it's just a like five,foot posable skeleton but Derek had the,idea to get this garden stake and sip,tie him to it so that it looks like he's,standing in the cemetery it definitely,balanced out some more height in this,area next to the front step and front,door he did exactly what we needed him,to and he just looks so cool definitely,one of my favorite parts of the entire,display and a really Nifty little DIY,hack if you are wanting to have a,skeleton in your display but not wanting,to pay like fifty dollars full price for,a glow-in-the-dark or a light up one,although the glow-in-the-dark ones at,Target this year were really cool and we,are hoping to find one at the end of,season clearance,foreign,how cool is this we just attached our,skeleton to this like Garden yard stake,to stand him up and he is perfect right,there Derek had the idea to zip tie this,little skull in his hand which is just,so cool it would be really cool if he,like had lights in his eyes or lit up or,something like that but for just working,with what we have I think this was a,pretty genius idea Derek's over there,just winding some purple string lights,around our bushes so that we can light,everything up all of these little,pre-carved jack-o-lanterns take,batteries and will light up and then the,tree over here,um we just need an extension cord and it,will light up too along with this dude,and his Jack-o-Lantern so we're almost,all finished and I'll be able to show,everything to you at night I'm so,excited to see it all and then also,let's all give me a pat on the back for,getting our spider up there on our drain,spout I am terrified of heights and had,to be pretty high up on the ladder for,that one I just tied a string around his,body and then pretty securely like,double triple knotted it and then used,zip ties to Wind Through the string and,around the drain spout and then some of,his other legs are wound around it as,you can see to keep him more secure and,then that second leg right there is also,zip tied so he's not going anywhere or,at least we hope he's not going anywhere,if you guys saw last year when we were,decorating for Halloween we had him up,here in some spider webbing and tried to,use like floral wire to get him to stay,up there it did not work out every time,there was wind rain anything he would,like blow out and then knock against our,window and,it just didn't work out so we're loving,this setup so much better and it really,ties in all the rest of the spiders that,are like crawling across the windows in,the house and coming towards the front,door I'm just I'm really loving it but,this I think is going to be everything,for our display this year do we have,anything else to do babe,yeah I think this is it so I am going to,give you just a quick overview of what,everything is looking like and then I'll,show you at night time with everything,all lit up okay so I really wanted to,give you an overview of the completed,display in daylight because it does look,really cool and also in my opinion,really realistic or at least as,realistic as it can look with like,plastic jack-o-lanterns but anyway I,love it I love the way that this Vision,came together and even in the daylight I,am just enjoying it so much I'm so proud,of it and our neighbors are loving it,too but especially at night time look at,this it just brings all of the spooky,Vibes it really feels like a complete,well-rounded display and everyone is,enjoying it and so we're so excited to,be able to have this for ourselves but,also to be able to share this little,festive display with all of our friends,family and our neighbors it's just been,the coolest thing we have been trying to,collect the pieces for this for three,years now and slowly but surely we've,just had all of the patients sought out,all of the deals and it's just so,satisfying to see that Vision come to,life of course we'll continue to build,off of it because we really do enjoy the,outside decorations and seasonal,displays but we are pretty dang proud of,this and I'm so excited to be able to,share with you so I hope that you guys,enjoyed watching it that it gave you a,ton of ideas motivation and Grab Dollar Tree Hula Hoops & Placemats To Make Quick Outdoor DIY Decorations For Halloween Or Fall

hey it's Megan welcome back to the,channel my friend in this video I'm,sharing quick and easy fall and,Halloween outdoor decorating ideas,this idea was something I'm so happy,that actually turned out right and I,think you're gonna love it too my motto,was go big or go home and I don't think,I had to go home just grab three hula,hoops take your first hula hoop and Link,that together with your second hula hoop,using some zip ties,then take your third hula hoop and place,that on top of the first two and just,use two more zip ties to secure that in,place then you just want to paint your,pumpkin because we're making a pumpkin,whatever color you think pumpkins should,be I think mine should be rustic orange,so that's the paint color I used now,when I first started this DIY I had no,idea what I was gonna use for the stem,of the pumpkin I was thinking in my mind,maybe I should cut down some Twigs I,knew for a fact I didn't want to spend,any extra money and I decided and I I,really love how this turned out to use,the bottom of some solar lights a few,months ago I did a huge video solar,light hack so I had a bunch of these,left over the tubes are the perfect size,the same thickness as the hula hoop it,looks great but you can use whatever you,have on hand you don't need to spend any,extra money either after you attach your,stem you're pretty much done all you,have to do is display it you can hang it,over a fence or if you have a super huge,door you could use it as a wreath I just,displayed mine in my yard using a Dollar,Tree's Garden hook and I did have to use,a zip tie to secure it to the hook so it,wouldn't fly away if it got windy,optional add a bow and that is it I've,received the best compliment a DIY or,can get on this DIY which is where did,you get it how much did it cost I've had,neighbors ask me that and you all know,as a diyer it feels so good to have,someone think you bought something,instead of made it yourself especially,when it's Dollar Tree this next idea is,just more of a tip I decorate with real,and fake pumpkins I love foam fake,pumpkins but they blow away so easily in,the wind and if you want to secure them,so you can still decorate with foam,pumpkins outdoors and reuse the same,pumpkins over and over and over again,every year to scraps and Dollar Tree,barbecue skewers stab them into your,ground or in my case my hay bales and,then stab them into your pumpkin Tada,they're not going anywhere and here's,another really quick tip for you so pick,up some of these solid black MDF boards,from Dollar Tree these work just like,chalkboards glue them to a steak you,could even use a Dollar Tree broom if,you wanted to and here's why we made,this now every year now I love to hand,out candy I hand out all kinds of candy,sometimes I run out early and even if I,turn my lights off I've posted notes to,my front door that says sorry we're out,of candy kids are super excited they're,not reading whatever you tape to your,door put something directly in front of,your door that says sorry we're out of,candy or we'll be back at 6 p.m we have,good candy we do have good candy I want,all the trick-or-treaters I can get I,think it's a great little tip works way,better than my Post-It note to my door,sign I've used in past years now here's,another really cool and quick idea that,works for Halloween or Christmas really,grab some placemats paint them whatever,color your heart desires I painted mine,orange because we're making a,Jack-o-Lantern then just take some,fabric you can use felt I used Dollar,Tree trees at faux leather because I,just had that on hand but felt would,work just the same or you could paint on,a Jack-o-Lantern face glue your two,placemats together but do not glue them,all the way around make sure you do,leave a space at the bottom so you can,take a dowel rod or a Dollar Tree,broomstick to shove that in and glue,that as well,we're making a sucker,Halloween fall version and this turns,out really cool I actually made a second,one that I think is maybe even cooler I,don't know you'll have to let me know,what you think,then just take some clear wrap wrap that,over cut that down to a few inches below,the head of your suckers or the head of,the jack-o-lantern and use some clear,tape to kind of pull all the excess in,the back tie it off with a zip Tire you,could even use tape here it really,doesn't matter and then optional add a,bow now I made a second sucker where I,painted my place matte black,and instead of doing a Jack-o-Lantern,face I used the Dollar Tree mesh tubing,to make a swirl effect it's 3D it was,super easy to glue down because the,placemats already have a swirl pattern,on them so I could just follow that and,I really love the way this one turned,out way better than the jack-o-lantern,actually the candy like swirl turned out,better in my mind and I already have,ideas for Christmas for this one,if you pick up one of Dollar Tree's,trash cans or you can use any planter,that you already have on hand and then,paint that whatever color your heart,desires once again my heart desires,rustic orange by Rustoleum it's the same,paint color I've used for this entire,video so if you're wondering what paint,color I used it's rustic orange then,grab some witch's feet also from the old,DT and cut those away from the ring now,you see how limp those feet are just go,ahead and stuff them up with some pool,noodles or plastic wrapping that you get,with packages or even some grocery bags,you don't need to buy anything to stuff,these witch's feet glue them to the,bottom of your planter or your trash,basket and then cut out some a,jack-o-lantern's face using Dollar,Tree's contact paper or paint it on it,doesn't matter whatever you want to do I,don't really like hand painting I hate,waiting for it to dry but you could,totally hand paint or use a Sharpie to,draw on a jack-o-lantern's face just the,same add a costume child's witch's hat,and you are done now mine is really,lightweight so to keep mine secure in,the hay bales I use the same little,barbecue skewer trick we used on the,foam pumpkins I just glued the top of,the barbecue skewer to the underneath of,my wastebasket or my pumpkin,grab one of these pails these pumpkin,pails I believe these are sold at,Walmart and Dollar General you find them,everywhere around Halloween and then,poke out some drainage holds add a globe,solar light so it goes upwards and this,is a really cool way to light up your,yard you can line up your driveway with,this or you could hang this from a tree,and another little cool quick tip I,found is I have larger solar lights from,Walmart in my backyard and these fit,perfectly over top of the jack-o-lantern,no hot glue is needed and this looks,really cool using one of Dollar Tree's,plant hangers or Shepherd hooks again,it's a really pretty way to light up the,night,all right so have you all seen in stores,these Garden floral foam they're not,foam these floral wreath tree forms I've,never seen mine in stores so you may,think I'm crazy but I just ordered 30 30,of them or 40 of them online from Dollar,Tree so I have a bunch of these Mama,jamas to use up if you paint them white,and pick up some mesh ribbon from Dollar,Tree you can just wrap your tree up to,make it look like candy corn the cool,thing about this mesh ribbon is it's,really it's going to stick to anything,you don't even need any hot glue the,only thing I did secure is I just used a,Bobby pen at the very bottom to keep the,yellow ribbon from fraying another cool,thing about this ribbon is it's,see-through enough so if you put it over,a solar light the solar light still gets,enough light where it's going to light,up at night and you can see through it,like you can see the light through it,does that make sense it's light enough,where you can use a solar light under it,it's gonna light up the entire candy,corn all right so check it out y'all,this year I'm doing something kind of,different for Halloween I never,decorated for Halloween before I'm going,very fun,youthful juvenile maybe tacky some may,say but I'm just going all out fun and,here's what I've started I just finished,all of this yesterday I want to make a,few more candy corns I even went back,and spray painted a dollar tree wreath I,had orange to match the rest of my look,and I welcome back to my channel today we're,gonna be doing a bats worm on my front,porch and I'm gonna be showing you a,porch reveal after for Halloween I had,so much fun doing this if you guys have,ever wanted to do a bats worm we are,gonna do one today I'm going to take you,through two different ways one is gonna,be using the little glue dots and the,other way I'm actually gonna be using a,low heat hot gun I know it's probably,gonna trigger some people but it,actually has no damage to my house and,it looked amazing so please stay tuned,it's your first time here my name is,Lauren and I love doing DIYs for my,porch and for my table scapes and just,other fun things that I hope for you joy,you haven't already hit that subscribe,button and if you like this video please,hit the like button let's get started so,before I get started on my bats worm I,kinda just want to stage the front so I,can see exactly what it's gonna look,like before I put the swarm in I'm using,some pumpkins I found at actually Whole,Foods and some cute little filler,pumpkins I got at Michaels and I'm just,gonna kind of frame the front but I'm,also gonna end up changing it later so,you'll see that in the comments below if,you like cooking with,when you're doing your decor in the fall,or if you don't like these nap - I have,some fake ones mixed in and some real,ones but I'd love to know what you use,yay so it's bathroom time so I put all,of these baths on Amazon and they were,really really inexpensive they came with,little glue a couple other little things,in the bags but I wouldn't head and laid,them all out I'm going to see the,surfaces where I'm going to be laying,these a place where make sure the,surface is nice and clean too it'll tear,the balls,so to get started I'm going to use the,larger vats I'm going to fold them,you'll see that they have these little,areas where you can fold the bats to,kind of make at the base arch and they,get a pop off the wall so I'm going to,go ahead and put a little dollop of a,low heat hot glue gun right on the back,of the wings but make sure that the,wings propelled it out and just the tiny,phase and a little bit right on the back,there,so before you actually start your swarm,you should really think about the,direction you wanna go I'm going to be,sweeping mine up and around the house,and it's the way I indicated its gonna,look like,big ones that it becomes small so,they're gonna give that,for starters I'm just gonna put all the,big ones in and I'm slowly gonna start,filling in all the little ones,so now start taking all of your bats,from biggest to smallest and just start,filling in the areas to give it the,shape,there you have it,this was so much fun to do again I got,all of the seven,these were super inexpensive I am,three different packages,see all the bats are different shapes,the packages come as,years,yeah,that's actually told that we didn't lose,any bad so I was pretty happy with my,bullying method so now I'm just gonna go,ahead and just decorate the porch,medical my finishing touches I got a lot,of this stuff at Michael's in the Hobby,Lobby as well as target dollar spot,that'd be where saina actually got out,of the Dollar Tree and I'm going to use,some of my leftover bats and just kind,of leave them to the elements around at,the bats worm just to kind of make it,feel like it's popping off the wall and,give it a little bit more an authentic,feeling than just this flat linear piece,so I'm going to do on the pumpkins I'm,also going to be doing my own breathe so,make sure you stay tuned watch that,I absolutely love how this grapevine,wreath turned out and loved it with the,little bats all over it's so cute oh hey,teddy,so I'm just gonna hang a little bit of,this,spiderweb along,and then actually Tucker couple little,spiders,if someone could come in the comments,down below an easy way to work with,these spider webs I would just love it,because news,I got these trick-or-treat science at,and I love how,tied to porch together you guys I'm,loving how this turned out,a little nervous because I had never,done anything like this before,especially with these different shades,of green and the Buffalo print,but I had to tell,stay tuned I'm going to transform the,other part of my porch to stop to this,thank you guys so much for watching this,video if you happen to like it please,hit the like button if you'd like to see,the content from the adhesive to,subscribe back and thank you so so much,for stopping by and checking out my,front porch Halloween decor,so much fun doing that for you guys I,hope that you put comments down below,you know if you do the same and,you

HALLOWEEN FRONT PORCH DECORATIONS | DIY Witches

i don't know if you guys are going to,take me seriously in this hat but i had,to wear a costume since it's a halloween,video hey everyone i got an exciting,video for you guys today since i've been,living in the uk this is the first time,that i live in the house not a flash so,i thought it's a good time to decorate,my front porch with halloween decor we,moved here on the 30th of september last,year and that time obviously decorating,my front porch was not on the top of my,list a few weeks ago i made over our,front porch if you haven't seen that,video go check it out i'll be linked in,the description and i chose colors that,i knew would go well with halloween,decor and also even christmas decoration,which you will see in november or,december i bought most of the decor off,of amazon i will link everything in the,description i started out by putting up,these paper bags on the doors they came,with stickers so it was really easy to,apply them,wow,do,i also got some spiderweb the key is to,stretch it out well so it looks really,real,it came with some fake spiders i put,some on the web,i got this waterproof fabric which is,fine for exterior usage i cut it to size,and i placed it under our door mat i,could have bought a new door mat with,some halloween tags or design but i,didn't see the point i wanted to put a,halloween wreath on the front door and,of course you can buy a cheap one but i,wanted to make my own to show you guys,how easy it is i needed a foam wreath,you can't buy any size i went for a,small one and i also used these,halloween ribbons some black tool and,glue gun first i wrapped around the,wreath with one of the ribbons i used,some glue to secure it,then i just made some bows as you can,see and i glued them to the wreath the,good thing is that these are wild,ribbons so they are quite tough,and here's the end result i placed it on,our front door,okay so the main decor was the witches i,actually saw an image on pinterest and i,wanted to create it of course there are,multiple ways to do it as you can see on,the image the bodies are just stuffed,with something and i was wondering for a,while how to actually execute this and i,thought i'm just going to buy manokines,which cost a lot by the way so,we went to a shopping mall it's an,outlet shopping mall and,gab closed down so they were selling,everything even their mannequins from,the windows which was great because i,bought like a child one and a woman bust,for only 20 pounds which was such a good,deal and they were quite sturdy so that,was great i went there with my mom and,we thought we can just walk home with,those,because we didn't go by car we don't,live far so i was like that's fine of,course everyone was looking at us like,idiots carrying those mannequins but,that's fine we stopped for a second,because i wanted to take off my jacket,and there was some,teenagers coming our way and one of them,was like oh can i hug him can i hug him,and he was talking about the child,mannequin i was like just go away yeah,please and then the other one actually,grabbed the child mannequin and he was,like oh this is mine this is mine and he,ran away,i was like what the hell is going on,and,of course i ran after him he didn't get,far because he couldn't and i grabbed,one end and he was holding the other end,and we were pulling it from both sides,i thought he was just gonna drop it but,no he was actually fighting for it i was,like what the hell is going on and i was,like you don't need this he just wanted,to have fun because it's a joke for him,and he didn't expect me that i'm gonna,run after him as a woman,and he was actually shocked by that but,i was like you don't know who you're,dealing with eventually i was able to,take it away from him but you guys can,imagine how weird this can be being on,the street and fighting for a mannequin,people i'm sure were looking at us i,don't know but i just didn't believe,this was happening if it's on the street,and he wants to take it and i want to,take it and they are fighting for it,that's one thing but i paid for this you,know like and you just want to steal it,basically and you would just drop it,somewhere in the middle of the street,because you don't need it you just want,to have fun eventually i was able to,take it away and he ran away,but i was like this is really happened,like,you guys can see how much i do for you,guys like and for the videos like,i'm willing to fight for,mannequins on the street obviously after,this i was like i'm not gonna leave the,mannequins outside because people are,just gonna steal them but i still wanted,to make it to show you guys how you can,do it as well you can leave it in your,garden or if you're doing a halloween,party it could be a really good,decoration item the woman mannequin,didn't have a high base so i swapped it,out with this wooden one which we had,first i just placed the black cotton,fabric on the body i tied it down on the,neck so it's visible where the neck is,then i did the same in the waist area,i also placed another piece of fabric on,the bottom and i tied it again actually,you can use any kind of black fabric i,just chose a plain cotton one,i placed the black tool on the body it,covered it well at the front and at the,back i secured it then i added another,piece of fabric so it's covered on both,sides too,i used like five meters of black fabric,and 10 meters of two for both mannequins,all together i needed to make the arm so,i cut the fabric on the side all the way,up to the armpit area at the front and,the back two i tied the arm with a,string and you will see i cut off the,excess,i secured the excess fabric on both,sides i did the same process with the,child mannequin i placed the first black,fabric on it and then the tool,so for the head i used a half meter of,black fabric i tied one end and i used,the stuffing from a pillow i placed it,on the fabric i pushed it down secured,it and then i tied the other end too as,you can see,obviously it doesn't need to be a,perfect head shape i didn't cut off the,excess because that will be the beach's,hair,then i simply glued the hair to the neck,i did the same for the trial but i just,did a smaller hand,then i just added the witch hat which i,bought off of amazon,if you also would like to make these i,suggest you to put some weight on Halloween 🎃 Front Porch Decor | Outdoor Halloween Decorations | DIY Outside Decorating Ideas 2022

hey y'all and welcome back to my channel,my name is Keely and today we're,decorating my front porch for Halloween,this is a long awaited video and one of,my absolute favorites to film because,you all know how much I love Halloween,I'm so excited to share all of these,DIYs with you guys today and all of the,fun and spooky Decor so go get your,pumpkin spice and settle in girl because,we are decorating the front porch and,we've got a lot to do,so the first step is to take down all,the fall Decor I've already repurposed,some of the Fall Decor from out here for,my indoor fall Decor if you haven't seen,that video go check it out I just went,live on my channel last week and you,don't want to miss it since we're,transitioning to all Halloween out here,I wanted a blank slate to work with it,is totally acceptable to leave your fall,Decor up and just add in some pumpkins,or whatever for Halloween but it really,lies in Halloween okay I love spooky,decor and I've collected so much of it,now that I decided to do a full,Halloween setup on the porch this year I,didn't feel like breaking out the,pressure washer though so bear with me,because I'm just gonna hose it off a,little bit and make it a little bit,cleaner before we get started,foreign,foreign,for the porch this year I'm going to,attempt to make a pumpkin Arch that,sounds exciting but it was a lot of work,so you've probably seen them all over,the Internet done by other people,naturally I saw that and I was like I,have to try so if you've ever thought,about making one you need to keep,watching this video because I have a lot,of tips and things that I learned,throughout the process to share with you,guys my first step was to get a few more,pumpkins of course to add to my,collection as if I didn't already have,enough pumpkins you should have seen my,husband's face when I told him we needed,more so I did get these blue bucket,pumpkins from Walmart because that was,all they had out so far Tim cut out the,faces and helped me out and I spray,painted them orange and black and then,we got started with the arch,next I set up this Arch I already had,from Amazon typically I use this for,party decor but I thought it might work,well for a pumpkin Arch here's my first,tip for y'all I should have gone with my,original plan of buying PVC pipe because,it would have been more sturdy and,probably easier to work with this worked,it really did but I feel like it could,have been easier if I would have used,PVC pipe,thank you,so we drilled holes into the pumpkins,and started to feed them on to the pole,first I just drilled holes through the,bottom and then I eventually started,drilling the holes based on where the,pumpkin was going to be on the arch so,that way they were all facing the same,way and then were like upside down or,sideways or whatever it took a lot of,teamwork for this part of the drilling,and feeding them on and all of that so,definitely recommend having some help if,you're going to take on a project like,this,foreign,just introduce myself if you're new here,my name is Keely I'm 31 years old and my,middle name is really rainbow I make,YouTube videos at home decor holidays,DIYs and become a part,of my little Community if you like,Halloween another holiday Decor you are,in the right spot I've got tons of fun,content coming up soon to share if you,didn't catch it at the beginning I'm,sure you can tell I'm pregnant so I'll,be sharing some pregnancy content too in,addition to all of my holiday stuff and,all of my home decor DIY projects my,next video will be more Halloween decor,I'll be decorating inside my house,sharing some fun DIYs and giving you,guys lots of spooky Vibes and I'm also,going to be decorating outside again too,sharing a huge front yard setup for,Halloween so be sure to make sure you're,subscribed so you don't miss out,foreign,once we got all the pumpkins on WE,secured the arch so it wouldn't blow,over with some fishing line again it,would probably be much more secure if I,used PVC piping I might not have to do,this but here we are,after getting the pumpkins all onto the,arch I added some leaves and some floral,to fill in between each pumpkin to make,it look more seamless and like it was,supposed to be there okay this is,definitely a trust the process sort of,project,I also added some lights that were,battery powered into the pumpkins so,they would glow a little bit through,their faces,foreign,at the bottom of the arch there are some,bricks to just make sure that it stays,up I want it to be really sturdy so I,also put some pumpkins and stuff in,front of the arch so I would cover up,those bricks so I added pumpkins and,Planters and other decor and stuff that,I had around to the bottom,foreign,this is a challenging DIY for me to do,because it required me asking for help,which I don't like to do y'all usually,I'm a strong independent woman and I can,just knock out the DIYs on my own but,this one wasn't going exactly as planned,and had to do a lot of modifications so,I did have to ask for help so by the,time I finished I was feeling a little,bit frustrated by this one I only tell,you guys that to be completely honest,because I know a lot of times on YouTube,it looks like projects are super simple,and super easy and that's easy to do as,a Creator because we don't always put in,all the bad stuff right but to be honest,they're not always easy I wanted to,throw in the towel on this one for sure,so I have to give a huge shout out to my,husband for helping me and making sure,that my idea came to life he was really,the brains behind this operation I do,like everything turned out but I just,wanted to let you guys know a little,behind the scenes because it's,definitely not always as simple as it,seems on video,thank you as always I will try to link,anything I got new for you guys in the,description I can link things like my,skeleton the door mats and this is a,really cute little ghost that you can,see on the left side of the door here I,absolutely love him I got him from the,at home store never been to that store,until recently and I have to go back,because their stuff was so cute anyway,I'm gonna link everything I can down,below for you if I missed something,don't hesitate to ask foreign,foreign,so then once I got all the decor put up,I decided to kind of clean up a little,bit because I have black mulch and you,can see literally anything that lands on,it so I pulled out some weeds and I,tried to move some leaves out of it the,best I could but just another Pro tip,for you guys I don't think I'll go with,black mulch again because it's just,really hard to keep up with considering,I have so many trees in my yard,especially during the fall I do love the,way it looks but I do not love the,maintenance so next year I think I'm,gonna go with fine straw but that's what,I'm doing here I'm just cleaning up a,little bit and blowing off everything,and cleaning out the flower beds a,little bit to the best of my ability,so here is the finished product in my,front porch the pumpkin Arch and all my,Decor you guys have to let me know what,you think I cannot wait to share the,rest of my foreign,and this is my daughter if you didn't already know her this is uh my only kid my only one my ,baby forever so she will be joining me in this video you would see her hands in this video ,just like mine but uh we decided to collab this video she really wanted to help me with this one ,because this year she requested or I guess asked us if we can decorate for Halloween or from porch ,and yard and we said yes so for this year we are actually committing to a whole Halloween ,decor and I was like perfect I never I've never done a DIY for actually Halloween so I'm really ,excited most times I just buy pumpkins and we just throw a couple of skeletons and we call it ,a day in this video I will show you some DIYs I came up with three of them that work perfect for ,um Halloween and I'm so excited to share this girl helped me with like half of each DIY because most ,times I record at night and she has to go to bed so there is that we hope you love this video as ,you can see she's really hyper she just came back from dance and she's all hyper we hope that you ,love these DIYs as much as we did making them thank you thank you so much for watching do not ,forget to click the Subscribe button and leave a comment down below thank you so much for watching ,now we're gonna jump into the video and let's get started yeah for our first project we are ,going to be using this five dollar sign I picked up from Target that was a great deal and I was so ,excited to find it here you can use some stencils or vinyl I will be using vinyl but in the color ,white and then I'm gonna use this cute skeleton from Dollar Tree and then some I'm just going to ,end up using the black paint so ignore the other paints okay so first things first I'm going to ,remove the hanger that comes here save it because we will use it later now we're gonna remove the ,tag in the back and here is my cute baby helping me remove the sticker now the next tip is to grab ,some painters tape and I am going to be creating a frame around it I really like the Grain on the ,side so I would like to keep it and I'm just going to cover the edges this is definitely ,optional I really wanted to do this just because of that it was a great addition to the project ,and once our four sides are completely covered with tape we are moving to the next step okay ,I will tell you right now I made a mistake I started painting this white and it was supposed ,to be black or I guess I came to the conclusion that I needed this to be black so we're gonna ,switch the paint and I didn't realize until I had completely painted it and waited on that to dry ,so yeah there's that but definitely this is an optional uh an optional step you can definitely ,leave it as is and just you know put the words on it and do the rest but I really thought that ,um this would look a lot better if I painted and especially because I'm going with black and white ,outdoor decor okay here is what it looks like once it's completely painted now we're moving to our ,friend the skeleton this part is again optional I don't like the shiny white color this skeleton ,has so I went on top with some chalk paint and I just gave it two layers of it just because I ,wanted to make sure everything was painted and then I'm gonna let it dry now here is what our ,sign looks like once it's completely dried and we are going to start removing the tape and let ,me tell you it was so pleasing seeing those edges completely sharp I was so excited it was like my ,favorite thing to do remove the tape off of this and then um once that is done here is our friendly ,skeleton as well because we are going to I decided to only use the top basically the arms and then ,the legs you can definitely glue this completely on there but that's not the style I was going for ,where I guess the idea I had on it and so I'm just trimming the legs and also you know the ,arms now here is what our friend the skeleton looks like right now I am going to take my sand ,place it right on top and now here are my one my wino my vinyl letters I spell welcome you can ,definitely spell Halloween whatever you want but this was a welcome from porch sign that ,I really wanted to create I saw some inspo from Pinterest and decided to create my own so there ,is that that's where the idea came from and then you know I'm just going to start placing these ,letters on top of my sign and we are going to leave our skeleton to the side for now ,um let me know uh what colors are you going for this year you know I'm very basic and I ,am going to go for black and white but are you doing any colors do you decorate for Halloween ,for us this is the first time we're doing this and it was more so of a request of my daughter ,and I was really excited honestly because I love making things and I was like yes let's do this so ,we're gonna go big on Halloween decor this year for our front porch and um yard I'll show you ,when we have that going and then um so here's a look of how this sign is looking I think it ,looks really good now it's time to add the final touches we are adding our skeleton and I am just ,going to hot glue this in place and pray that this stays on here the entire Halloween season ,I'm sure I could have used a better glue but you know hot glue usually is nice with me so or to me ,and you know I decided to just go with hot glue I glued the arms in the head and then just place the ,paint bottles on top to make them stay just push it down and then we are going to do the feet and ,I first wanted to use the entire part of this but I was like it's going to look weird and kind of ,play around with it and then I finally decided I needed to trim these legs and so I end up you know ,marking with a pencil where I need to cut and then just grabbing my scissors that's the best thing ,that this thing uh is made of plastic and it's a very flexible plastic and I was able to just ,grab my scissors and cut it now I'm just going to hot glue it just like we did the other part and ,this is almost it let me know in the comments down below again what are you doing for Halloween ,I would love to know and you know I'm always looking for ideas to see what other videos I ,can do so if you have any suggestions you know I am all ears I do try to get a video out once ,a week you know life happens and I sometimes don't make the goal but I do try to do my best ,now I hadn't glued the arms or I guess the hands and I decided to do that just because you know ,I don't want this to be flying around and then once that is completed this is the time to add ,the hanger definitely again optional I feel like I've said that a lot but it's definitely an option ,and you can do so many things with this this is just one idea out of like Millions probably ,and that is all for this project let's take a look at the end result ,for our next project I will be using two Dollar Tree skulls I picked these two but you will see ,the struggle here in a little bit I also am going to use two hands I show you this tiny ,little skulls but I don't end up using them and then I'm gonna use a wooden dowel and I will ,leave the information down below I'm also going to be needing a flower pot or just a regular pot ,and then I'm also going to be using some black spray paint I don't end up using the white one ,so ignore it and then some flowers yay okay what I'm going to do first is grab my two skulls and ,since this one is a cup and it's harder I am going to have to remove the top and I use the ,salt to do that I had an idea of having a big and a small skull I will say that created a lot more ,work that was not necessary so I would suggest if you are going to recreate this just grab the ,two regular gray brownish pumpkins because they're made out of plastic and they're easy to work with ,now I didn't realize I wasn't recording this part so I apologize I ended up cutting the hole on that ,bigger skull with my scissors without any trouble I just drew the circle cut it with my sisters and ,I was done now for the other one if you want to use that which I don't see why you would because ,it's just a lot more work I use this tool and this one is basically meant for riding on wood ,or like drawing a wood I don't know the exact name but I end up using that and then just sand ,the top because it was really rough and then just go back with the tool to kind of make it you know ,a little bit more smooth I use the same tool to create holes at the bottom because uh I'm sure you ,guessed or I'm sure you already know we're making some planters I was so excited about this project ,I really wanted to make it and I was like I have to make this work so that's why I was doing this ,extra work and I could have wait to the next day to go to Dollar Tree and just give me another good ,skull but I decided to just keep going right we don't give up here and then um I will say that ,you can use the glue gun to create these holes you don't necessarily need this tool specifically the ,hot glue gun works just as fine so just create some holes so we can have some water drainage on ,our um soon to be Planters now I'm gonna take my black paint and I am going to spray my uh skulls ,I will give it just one coat was enough for me and then I also took the doll and spray painted ,here are my skulls we're gonna let them dry and now once our skulls are dry we're going to use ,them in the hands as well I am going to sit these skulls on top of the hands now I am going to use a ,screwdriver you could hot glue them or use some other glue that is strong enough to hold them I ,still wanted to have the extra security so I added the screwdriver or I guess the screw on there with ,a screwdriver I added it and this is gonna be easier on the bigger skulls the gray ones because ,it you can fit your hand in it and you can add um you know the screw and be able to screw it in ,I did struggle under that other one but here is what it looks like and then I just added some ,hot glue to make it be secure I guess make sure that it's not gonna move and then I did ,struggle on this one a little bit but I did get it in there and I did also added some hot glue ,now I took my um drill and I'm going to create some holes uh for our soon to be plantar tier and ,I end up gluing this gold down to the hand just because even though it's secure there I don't want ,it to be moving around and then uh for the smaller one I had to go from the bottom because it was ,easier my hand and the drill did not fit through the top so I just flipped it around and started ,from the bottom and it worked just fine now once those are completed we're gonna put them to the ,side for now now I'm gonna grab my pod and excuse me or excuse my pod it's just so dirty but this ,is what we got to work with the Pod was actually from Dollar Tree I got it for five dollars from ,that new section they have over the summer and it was used and that's why it's dirty I grabbed this ,random cop that was dirty and I had it sitting around my work area it has some pain and then ,it dried and then and you know it ended up being like that but we're not gonna see it so it's fine ,and then I forgot to add the wooden dowel before I added the rock so I kind of struggle here listen ,we're learning as we are going we usually don't have everything planned out completely so a lot ,of this is like real action in like real time and then after I added some hot glue to the dowel and ,made sure that it was glued completely to the bottom I added the Rocks you can add anything ,just heavy enough to hold your wooden dowel okay now that we got that going I am going ,to start adding my hands with the skulls I will put the bigger one down first and then ,I was like how I'm going to make them stay in place so I'm gonna add some hot glue and ,then after I added hot glue I let it dry for a little bit and then I was like I need something ,else to make sure they're not gonna slide and I found these clips from Dollar Tree I ,had laying around and they're these pink ones and I'm gonna use those to hold the bottom I'll spray ,in them and then I'll just clip them on there now for the second one since it's going to go at the ,very top I just added a ton of hot glue and I'm going to have another little clip at the bottom ,now excuse my garage it's dirty but I really wanted to show you how I put this plant on here ,I just get it out of the little container that they come in and then I just put it inside my ,skull you know pretty simple um I will not be showing you the other skull because I did that ,one off camera and also I did the bigger pot I added dirt and then plants but I didn't have time ,to move my light and my phone and everything to record so I apologize for that now I did wanted ,to mention that you don't have to do the whole tier thing I want it to go big because this is ,going on my front porch and I needed it to be big but you can definitely just make the skull ,by itself it will look amazing as well and now I'm gonna stop talking and here is the end result,for this project I will be using this straw wreath I'm also going to use this cute Halloween flowers ,I fell in love with these ones I'm going to need this cute skeleton that actually lights on and ,it's really loud then I'm gonna use those little cute hands some tool some ribbon we are going to ,use this glittery Garland it's like purple and black and these bats that are also glittery we ,are not going to use those bones so ignore them and we're gonna use some black paint we are going ,to start with the black paint so I didn't have a lot of black paint so I kind of just use what I ,had left to spray my wreath here's Ashton trying to help me and then we're gonna let it dry put ,it to the side now I am going to start with the flowers I am going to start taking them apart and ,then I realized I have two of each two regular flowers and then two flowers with eyes and then ,the two branches with the spiders so I decide to create piles I separate each bunch and then I do ,that off camera now here is a wreath I think it looks really spooky I think it's perfect for what ,I need it for because I still wanted that um straw to peek through I didn't want this to be ,completely black and I think it turned out really cool now I started with the regular flowers I kind ,of started adding them around this wreath and then I ran into a problem I did not have enough flowers ,so once I start adding the eyes the flowers with the eyes I realized that I'm not gonna have ,enough to cover them so I decided to just leave one side uncovered and we will cover it later ,so I started arranging the flowers that I had already added to the wreath and kind of create ,that space that we're gonna need later and once that is completed we are going to start adding ,our little branches with the spiders so just spread those around I think it gives that little ,something that this wreath needed to make it look even more spooky you could even just use more ,flowers and cover this whole thing and call it a day here's Ashland helping me she loved using the ,um the Clippers or whatever those are called and she loves using these tools I just didn't ,want her to be using the hot glue gun because I burn myself and you'll see her later okay once we ,are done completing our wreath um we are going to start with our Garland this is a cute Garland it ,actually has some hints of purple and it gives that little pop of a little bit of color that ,because this is completely black I think that give it that little pop of color to to help it ,look even better so on this one I the thicker side so this Garland had like little strings on ,it we took those apart actually Ashlyn helped me with that she took them apart and we used ,each string and just wrapped it around so I was having trouble getting this to stick to the bag ,so I started using little pieces of paper to do that and be able to glue them into place so the ,thicker side that was actually attached to the Garland I just stick it in there because it's ,thick enough for that to stay there but the other pieces are thinner and that's the part that I use ,the paper for now here is what it looks like on the back and here is what it's looking like so far ,I think it looks super cute it will look amazing just the way it is but you know I like to be extra ,so here is our cute skeleton and Ashlyn actually dancing the skeleton around we are going to create ,a bow our skeleton is just dancing having its best life so I realized this tool actually glows in the ,dark it has really cute Sparkles I will say it's not out at all so I really thought it was gonna ,show up at night but you can see like little hints of glow which is still kind of cool maybe if you ,get more it will glow a lot more but I was really excited to use this so I use this to create a bow ,I just wrapped it around until I was done with the little uh what is that the little roll and ,then I just finish it in the middle and use the zip tie and kind of sip it together we're gonna ,put that bolt to the side and then I'm gonna use this other ribbon I'm gonna create three ,loops with this I guess you can call it so I'm gonna cut three pieces of this ribbon all the ,same size and then I'm going to start gluing them together to the back and then this is a ,very thin ribbon so I'm going to clip it in place so it can stay in place while it dries ,here is what our pieces look like I decided to glue these three these three pieces together ,on the little the on the center I added the tiny bit of glue just to attach them so I will be able ,to start painting them together and make it look like a whole bow so here is what I am doing right ,now now that it's dried enough I am going to start pinching I start on one end and kind of just go ,through it until I get to the other end once it's all pinched together I take another zip tie and I ,sip it together now I don't know I like doing this individually I feel like I have better control but ,if you are good doing this all at once you would only have to use once a time and you know sip ,your bows together so I have my two balls now now I'm going to trim you know what we don't need of ,that zip tie and then I'm going to glue this uh smaller Bowl right on top and then so it doesn't ,move around I decided to add another zip tie I know maybe too many zip ties but that's the way ,I work I work as I go and I don't really think about it much until I'm there and I'm like okay ,how are we gonna figure this out and this is what I come up with but you know watching this video ,I'm sure you'll learn things and you're like well I'm gonna do this I'm not gonna do that so I make ,those mistakes for you and then I decided to add another piece of ribbon to the middle to cover up ,um you know the zip ties because I you know you had to cover those you have to cover them and ,then I just grab a piece and I just kind of fold it in the middle each end to make it a little bit ,you know uh smaller and then I created a knot in the middle and then I glued this down but then I'm ,going to be unhappy here in a little bit again I work as I go and if I like it I keep it and if not ,I change it so I glue this down and then I'm like I don't know if I like this so I'm gonna add this ,other little piece that was left from that same glittery glowing tool and I wrapped it right on ,top and I was like I think I like it I'm Gonna Keep it and also it's supposed to glow in the ,dark so I really wanted to use that tiny piece that was left over it that's the truth behind it ,here is our Cubo now what I'm gonna do is place it on my wreath on the part that we left empty I did ,added a little piece of twine to hold my bow just because I'm gonna hold this on or I'm gonna hang ,this on my front porch and you know it can get windy and crazy outside so I want to make sure ,that that bowl stays in place and I didn't think that hot glue was going to be enough so I tied it ,and then I added some hot glue now I'm gonna do the same for my little cute um skull or I guess ,not skull it's a skeleton I add some I tied it with some twine to make sure it's not gonna go ,anywhere and now we have our cute bats uh I only have four of them so I kind of used it to fill ,in those spaces that were still empty so I just wanted to make sure that everything was covered ,up so when it's hanged on the door it all looks even once I was done doing that here is where ,I burned myself I was adding this hand to it and again I wanted to make sure or I want this to stay ,in place so I need to glue this because if I just stick them on there they're gonna fall right off ,and then I just go around place them wherever I think they look good and I think it's looking ,amazing let me know in the comments down below what you think about this DIY I think this wreath ,turned out amazing that is
