HALLOWEEN 2020 IDEAS- DIY GOODIE BAGS | Sally Funakoshi

welcome to day 8 of 10 days of halloween, with just two days left of the giveaway, clues by the end of this video, make sure you have collected eight words,so far,if you haven't it's not too late go back, and watch all my halloween videos so,that you can figure out what the secret, message is,learn all about how you can win by,watching my special announcement video,or read all about it in the description, box below, today's craft might be my favorite one,of all,i will be showing you how to make, broomstick goodie bags,i made these tags to attach to the goody, bags which i will show you in a little, bit, for the bag you'll need some ribbon, scissors brown paper bags, sticks and a whole bunch of goodies to,fill the goody bags with, well hey these look familiar i have some, snacks, along with other halloween themed toys, for the tags i used some construction, and cardstock paper,i wrote a little halloween message on,the tags and then i cut them out, once i had them all cut out i used a,hole puncher, and punched a hole in each of them so,that i can string some brown twine in it,so that i can connect it to the goodie, bags,so using string yarn ribbon or,like me i'm using brown twine all you, need to do is fold it in half,so that you create a loop at one end and, then you're going to,pull that loop through the hole from the, back side of the tag, pull it out a little bit and then you're,going to string the two strings from the, opposite end, through the loop and this will make it,easier for you to attach this,to your goody bag and it'll also help, keep the goody bag tag, front facing and it won't turn on its, side or flip over for each goodie bag, you'll need, two brown paper bags for one bag you're,gonna have to open it up fully, and then with your scissors you're gonna, cut strips all the way from the top, down to the base each strip should be,about three quarters inch thick, you're gonna cut strips around the, entire bag,all of these strips are going to,represent the bottom of the bronze stick, and it's going to be the outer layer of,the goodie bag we'll actually be putting, another bag inside of these strips and, then i will show you how to do that, with this second bag so with the second, bag, you're gonna keep it closed you're not, gonna open it up,and again you're gonna cut strips the, same, width but you're only gonna go down just,a little bit, about two and a half to three inches, down from the top,by the end of this you should have, created a fringe at the edge of this bag,and this bag is the one that you will be,filling with all the goodies,so start putting in all those treats and, toys and make those children, happy, now that you have loaded up all your, halloween goodies,go ahead and set this bag aside now, bring back the other bag that we had cut,up,open it fully so that all the strips are, lying outwards, place the bag with all the goodies, standing upright, right in the center matching base to,base, then grab one stick and stick it in the, middle of the goodie bag, standing straight up and then as if you, were tying a ponytail,go ahead and gather all the strips, together,be gentle and work with one side at a,time, next you're going to grab a ribbon and, you're going to secure everything by,tying it into a bowl,it's very helpful to have all of your, ribbon pre-cut,and ready to go for this part especially, because when you're,assembling one hand is going to be,holding all the strips together so you, only have one hand available, once your ribbon is tied go and grab, your, little halloween tags and just like a,necklace,i'm going to tie it around the neck of,the broom, this may have taken a little more effort, and time, versus using a regular goodie bag but, let's be real, this goodie bag is one of a kind and it,is so cute to do for close friends and, family,or just your children with only two days, left, did you make sure you found today's,secret word i will see you tomorrow,in day nine of my 10 days of halloween, you

POPULAR CANDY MADE HEALTHY | 5 DIY Halloween Treats

POPULAR CANDY MADE HEALTHY | 5 DIY Halloween Treats

hi guys it's Olga so Halloween is coming,up the time where everybody likes to,overdose on candy,so should you miss out on all the fun, just because you want to eat clean I had, this crazy idea I wanted to recreate, five popular candies and make them, healthy so that's exactly what we're,doing today I think you guys are going,to be blown away by the results as much,as I was let's get started the first, candy we're going to recreate is,Snickers as you know Snickers has, multiple delicious layers we're going to,start with the nougat layer first to,make it you will need almond butter, maple syrup or another liquid spinner of,your choice and coconut flour line a,baking sheet with parchment paper then, combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and mix well, next place the mixture on top of,parchment paper and press flood with, your hands to form a rectangle you want,it to be about half an inch high I like,to fold a parchment paper like this to,even out and smooth the sides now that, you've got yourself a good-looking,rectangle we're going to place it in the, freezer to set for about half an hour, meanwhile let's prepare the caramel, layer you will need dates water coconut, oil vanilla and salt we're also going to,top this layer with some peanuts I like,to soak my dates in hot water for a,couple of minutes before blending this, really makes the process much easier so,after you're done soaking the dates, combine all the ingredients except for, peanuts in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth by the way if,you're ever need to make caramel for, another recipe definitely try using this, combination it works really well this is,the consistency you're looking for when, your first layer has said remove it from, the freezer and spread the caramel layer,on top as always check out fab lunch,Starcom for exact measurements, and directions for all of these recipes, once you're done with a caramel layer, place the peanuts on top of it and press,on the peanuts with your hands to smoosh, them into the caramel so we've got all,of our peanuts placed nicely on top of,the caramel layer now this goes back, into the freezer for about five hours or,overnight when the time is almost up,prepared the chocolate layer to coat the, bars here is what you will need cacao a,cocoa powder coconut oil and maple syrup, combine all of these ingredients in a,bowl and whisk until well incorporated, the best way to code your candies with, chocolate without making a mess is to,place them on top of a cooling tray with, parchment paper under it,remove the rectangle from the freezer, and cut into six full size bars or,twelve minute ones dip each bar in,chocolate making sure that you cover all,of the sides and place them on top of,the cooling tray now let's freeze this, candy one last time for 15 to 20 minutes,to let the chocolate harden and your, homemade guilt-free Snickers already I,can't even describe how amazing they, taste if you eat it right away out of,the freezer it kind of tastes like,Snickers ice cream absolutely amazing, this was definitely my favorite candy, out of the five once I tried it it was, very hard to stop eating it but we have, four more candies to make so let's move,on to the gummy bears or gummy hearts in,this case to make them you will need, orange juice because we're making orange, flavored gummies water lemon juice maple, syrup and vegan jello I found this brand,at Whole Foods combine all ingredients, except for jell-o in a small pot and, heat over medium heat whisk until, everything is well incorporated and, start gradually adding the jello while, continuing to whisk, place a silicone mold on a baking tray, and fill it with the mixture as you can,see I made a huge mess here but now that, everything is cleaned up let's place our, hearts in the freezer for 20 to 30,minutes to set and our gummy hearts are, ready you can definitely create other, flavors by using a different juice I,also tried making strawberry and, raspberry flavored gummies and they, turned out really good next on our list,is chocolate peanut butter cups oh yeah, here are the ingredients that you will, need vegan chocolate chips and peanut, butter, that's it line a muffin tin with cupcake, liners next mult your chocolate chips, and a double boiler mine is a DIY which,is basically a pot with boiling water, and a bowl on top of it make sure to,stir the chocolate chips as they're,melting to make sure that you don't burn, the chocolate once I see that most of,the chips have melted I like to reduce, the heat to low next put one teaspoon of,melted chocolate into the liners and, spread them with the spoon to make sure, that they cover the entire bottom now, let's place them to set in the fridge, for 10 minutes after 10 minutes in the, fridge your chocolate should be hard now, let's add one teaspoon of peanut butter, into each tin you don't have to spread,it because you don't want it to reach, the sides completely back in the fridge, for another 10 minutes, and the final step is to add two, teaspoons of melted chocolate chips on,top of the peanut butter this layer you,do want to spread to cover all of the, peanut butter and the sides place the, chocolate cups in the fridge again for, about 20 minutes and your chocolate, peanut butter cups are ready to be,devoured,I loved this candy I think it's the, easiest one to make out of the five and,it tastes in my opinion better than the, original one,and I don't even like peanut butter that, much the next candy we're going to make,is two whistlers you will need dates, water lemon juice beet juice freeze, dried fruit I'm using banana and, strawberries and salt add dates, lemon juice and salt to food processor, and start blending you also want to,gradually add your water blend until you, reach a smooth consistency next add the, beet juice which we're using as natural, food color and the freeze-dried,strawberries which are going to give the,Twizzlers a strawberry taste blend one, more time until everything is combined, how pretty is this color now let's grab,a star piping tip and place it inside of,piping bag or a ziploc bag place the bag, into a tall glass and add the mixture, that we just made place parchment paper,on top of baking sheet and start piping, the batter onto it from one edge to the, other you want to apply uniform pressure,in order to create straight lines now, that you're done you want to place the, tray into a dehydrator but since I don't,have one I just preheated my oven to the, lowest setting which is 170 degrees,Fahrenheit I'm going to dehydrate or,bake my Twizzlers for about 5 to 6 hours, when you're done this is what your, homemade Twizzlers shouldn't look like,my mom actually really really like this, one and the last candy we're going to,make today but definitely not the least, tasty one is Twix first we're going to,make the crust the ingredients for the, crust are oats, coconut flour coconut oil maple syrup, and vanilla pre-heat your oven to 350,degrees Fahrenheit add oats to a food, processor and process for about 2 to 3,minutes until they turn into oat flour, combine all crust ingredients in a bowl, and mix well, grease the baking tray with coconut oil,and add the batter, press the batter with your hands to form, and rectangle that is about half an inch, high then grab a fork and make a few, holes in your crust once you're done, you're going to bake the crust for about,12 to 15 minutes until it becomes golden, let the crust go down while we prepare, the caramel layers you will need almond, butter maple syrup coconut oil vanilla, and salt combine all the ingredients in,a small pot and heat over medium low, heat while whisking for about 5 minutes,so now you know two ways of making, healthy homemade caramel one using dates, like we did for our Snickers and the, second one is this one honestly both of,them taste incredible when your crust, has cooled completely pour the caramel,on top and spread with a spatula put the, tray in the freezer to chill for about,an hour, meanwhile you can prepare the chocolate, layer using the same method as we did,for the Snickers bars once the caramel, layer has set pour the chocolate on top,and spread with a spatula again, return the tray to the freezer for, another hour now that the chocolate has, hardened you can cut our big rectangle, into individual bars make sure that, you're using a sharp knife and be,patient I actually asked my dad for, systems with this as you can see by the,way on Friday I will be sending out my,newsletter for October and there might,be a bonus recipe for another DIY candy,in there so if you haven't signed up for,my newsletter yet check out the link in,the description once you're done with, the cutting your twigs is ready and I,have to say everyone in my family loved, this candy a lot so if you're going to,choose just one of these recipes to make,a probably go for this one you will not,be disappointed thank you so much for, watching I hope that you guys enjoy this, video if you love candy as much as I do,please give this video a thumbs up I,would really appreciate it also let me,know in the comments down below what, candy you're looking forward to trying, the most check out the bunch calm, because I'll have all the measurements, and directions posted for you there I,also included some extra tips to make, sure that you can de turns out perfect I,love you guys very much I wish you very, fun and safe Halloween I'll see you in,my next video bye

DIY DOLLAR TREE EASY HALLOWEEN GIFTS & TREATS

DIY DOLLAR TREE EASY HALLOWEEN GIFTS & TREATS

hey everyone it's sarah jane with she, gonna chief welcome to my channel so mr.,buns and i are in my kitchen for today's,video because i'm going to be using my,stove i'm going to be working with some, food and popping some popcorn to put, together some fun halloween gift, increase ideas using a majority of,Dollar Tree products now I'll have, everything listed in the description box, below that I use to make each item I,hope you guys enjoy this video let's go,ahead and get started alright so the, first DIY is my favorite I'll be using, three of these pumpkin tea light holders,I think they are so cute and three of,these tall glass candles now the first, step is to melt the candles and I'm,going to do that by placing them in a,pot filled to half the way up with water,on low heat it will take about an hour, for the wax to melt completely and after, about 45 minutes I help the wax at the,top of the candle melt by pushing it,down using a craft stick then after the, candles were all melted I used a craft, stick to retrieve all of the wicks next,I took each wick and hot glued one to,the center of the bottom of each pumpkin, and then I wrapped the top of each wick, around a craft stick after placing the, pumpkins on a cookie sheet with some, aluminum foil I very carefully started, pouring the melted wax into each one now,I'm only using one melted handle per, each pumpkin but you can of course add, more wax if you would like once that was, done I let the candle sit for a few, hours and here's what they look like, once they were completely cooled I then, trim their wicks and here's what the wax, looks like on the inside of the pumpkins, there are no air bubbles or holes and, that's because I melted the wax very, slowly so yes that is a very important, step in tears of the pumpkins look once, they are all lit up they are absolutely, adorable and the total cost for each one,was only $2 I think these would make an,amazing Halloween gift or just make one,for yourself and add it to your,Halloween decor I think you will love it,the next DIY is just a fun gift for, anyone who believes in the paranormal or,as a ghost enthusiast like me I'm just, taking these two small bottles and I,emptied out all of their shells and then, took two white pom-poms and place one, inside each bottle after I put the corks, back I cut out one of these orbit a,bottle tag, that I made hole-punch the top and tied,it around the bottle using some jute, twine I just think this is such a neat, gift and you could even print out your, favorite go story to go along with it,okay so next I'm going to be using these, cupcakes you can of course take your own, from Dollar Tree products but I'm super, busy so I just picked these up from,Walmart and you guys they are delicious, and what I did was just take this free, sheet of grape stone printables cut them, out and then hot glue them to some, toothpicks after I had four done I stuck, the toothpicks into the cupcakes like, this and just like that you have some, super affordable and incredible looking, cupcakes for your Halloween party your, kids your co-workers whomever you want,to give them to they will just adore, them and I also wanted to show you how,you can use stickers for this to really, any Halloween stickers that you want I,just use these felt ones that I had on,hand from the Dollar Tree hot glued them,to some toothpicks and stuck them on top,of some more cupcakes and I think they, look so adorable now we'll make another, gift using this really cute treat bag, some ghost peeps a bunch of these snack, sized Hershey's bars and, some graham crackers I just placed, enough of everything inside one tree bag,to make three Halloween s'mores and then,I took these free printable tags that, say s'more treats for my peeps cut one,out hole punched it and attached it to,the bag using some ribbon I then took, one of these felt bats from the pack of,stickers that I used on the cupcakes and, placed it on the bow like this for a,little added Halloween Flair next I'm,going to be using a blow pop in two, coffee filters I just wrapped the coffee, filters around the sucker like this, until I made a ghost shape I then took, this sheet of free printables cut out,one of the tags and placed it around the, ghost using some ribbon I then gave my,ghost some eyes and a mouth using a,sharpie marker the in tears how the, little guides turned out so simple but,so fun and I also wanted to give you, guys another printable option so I made, these ghosts and here's how the suckers, look together, and I have two more super-easy ideas to,share with you guys for the next one,I'll be using this plastic witches, cauldron and the witches treats label, from the sheet of free printables I just, cut it out and hot glued it to the front,of the cauldron now you can put whatever, you would like in here but I'm adding, some popcorn I just imagine using this, for a scary movie night my favorite, scary movie is the Blair Witch Project, and this is perfect for that and the, final idea I wanted to share with you is,just a really cute free printable just, print it out pop it inside a frame and, place it next to some delicious treats, and you've got yourself a Pinterest for,the candy bar first super to you alright, guys well that's it for my Halloween, gifts and treats ideas using a majority,of Dollar Tree products mr. bones let me,know that his favorite one was the orb,in a bottle he's just really into ghosts, right now I mean technically he is one,my favorite was the pumpkin handle for,two dollars to make this I feel like it,is such an affordable and really cute, gift ideas I hope you guys will make one,let me know your favorite though in the, comments section below I'm just always, interested to hear your feedback I hope, you all enjoyed this video and until my,next one I'll see you then

Easy $5 & Under Halloween Gifts!

Easy $5 & Under Halloween Gifts!

hey guys halloween is right around the, corner so today i'm going to be showing, you guys how to do some, budget friendly gifts to get to your, friends co-workers,or anyone so these guys are gonna be,five dollars in under and of course you, have to have your candy ready,i got all this candy at the dollar tree,i got some, butter fingers some smarties some, peppermint patties per angel's request, and,my favorite reese's peanut butter cups,oh my gosh i,am obsessed with some reese's peanut, butter cups they are so delicious,i love peanut butter you guys go ahead, and let me know know down in the, comments below, what is your favorite candy, let's go ahead and get this video, started this diy is super, simple guys and i absolutely love it,so on my last starbucky run i got my,coffee and i asked for a grande, water with a domed lid and that is free, and i also got a five dollar starbucky, gift card, and unfortunately they didn't have any, halloween themed gift cards but they did, have, fall themed ones so i got this one says, fall sweet, fall and i thought this was really cute, and i had this tissue paper um i,think i got this tissue paper last year,i don't remember, but you could use actual orange but i,really liked this color because it,reminds me of,how against my latte,so i'm gonna put the gift card in here, and i'm kind of just gonna, ball this up and throw it into, the cup and then i'm going,to crumble up this white tissue paper, and this is going to be guess what it is,guys,if you guessed it you're a genius you're,right it's going to be the whipped cream,it's going to be the whipped cream on,top,i am obsessed with whipped cream guys oh,my gosh, like extra whipped cream for me please, you're probably wondering like, why in the world do you have mod podge, well let me open this mod podge,oh my gosh i cannot open this,i'm struggling finally this, gun mod podge opened, angel had to open it for me anyway what,i'm going to do,is i'm going to dab mod podge around,on the white tissue paper it doesn't,matter how or where, just dab a little bit on there and i,have this, brown goldish glitter and i thought this, was, absolutely perfect because every time i,ordered psl's i asked for, extra pumpkin spice on top and this is,so perfect,oh my gosh so what i'm going to do is,just put some on top, this really really looks like a pumpkin, spice, latte now oh my gosh guys i'm obsessed,so look how cute i'm gonna let that, dry and then i'm going to stick the, straw in here, check out that pumpkin spice heck yes i,love pumpkin spice lattes those are so,good and there you have it guys a,simple and cute little gift with a five, dollar gift card in there i love this so,much guys if i received this i would be,so happy, but i'm gonna give this to my friend she,has a love for pumpkin spice lattes like,i do,and i know she's definitely going to,appreciate, this, this next gift guys i am obsessed with,it oh my gosh look at this cup,it is absolutely gorgeous,oh my gosh so i love the design it says, trick or treat, the little glittery sparkles all around,it,omg so i found this at my local, grocery store at publix for four dollars, and 29 cents guys under, five dollars that is insane, and they have different cups with, different designs, here but i fell in love with this one,and the straw,is super halloweeny and cute orange and, black,i love the sparkles all around the cup,oh my gosh guys if i received this for, halloween as a gift i would freak out,i found these at walmart for 97,cents i got it because i wanted the, black loofah, this one i'm gonna keep for myself, but this black one you know to go for it,with the halloween theme, the orange and the black straw i'm going,to put it,down into the cup and it was only 50,cents for this one you know once you do,the math, you get two packs for 97 cents all right, and then i'm going to top,it off with some reese's peanut butter, cups just two of them, you know so you can say hey i gave you, some candy for halloween, and then there you go i really do love, this,so much guys i feel like it's such a,practical gift,i love to give things that people can, actually, use and enjoy you can use the cup you,can use the loafer, and you can enjoy the chocolate so this,is definitely an a plus in my book, this is your standard little goodie, halloween bag,you can find these at dollar tree, walmart pretty much anywhere and you can, find a whole pack of them, for like a dollar so what i thought, would be really cool, because this is part of like my daily, routine nowadays,is using germex i got this at walmart, for about a dollar fifty, and then what i'm going to do is put it,into my little treat bag,so like i said before you guys i am all, about, you know having useful gifts along with, little treats so who does not need, germax nowadays you know, and i'm gonna just stuff it with some, candy, some smarties some reese's,and then i'm going to just put the, little, tie around it oh my gosh guys if i got, this i would be so happy because like i,said,i use germax every single, day now and then i have this pretty, little orange ribbon that i just found, laying around my house, and then what i'm going to do is tie it,make a cute little bow and i think this, would be so nice to give to like a,teacher,or you know anyone really, but there we go just like that how cute,is that and so cheap guys, this is awesome,i got this candle at the dollar tree,it's,copper sand and i'm going to transform, this candle into,a candy corn candle so i have my acrylic, paint i have my orange paint,i'm not sure if i'm going to use this, yellow or not since the lid,is a goldish yellow i might just use, that as the top,and then the white and i have mod podge, here because i'm going to be using, glitter as well so i'm going to go ahead, and do,is i'm going to go ahead and start, painting, this white at the top here,so you can actually remove that paper, that says the name of the candle, but i'm kind of lazy so i'm just gonna, leave it there,it really should not affect it but what,i'm going to do is i'm painting this, white here in the middle it doesn't have,to be perfect because i'm going to just, put glitter, over it so you really won't see this, part, and now i'm going to start painting the, bottom, orange,so now that it's dry i'm going to go,ahead and put another layer of,white and orange around the candle jar,and a better way to do this is to put a,piece of tape around,it and do one layer at a time, that's what i should have done but,i'm doing it kind of fast,so i'm going like i said i'm gonna put, glitter underneath it so,it really shouldn't matter a ton but if,you want a more cleaner look, definitely use the tape so now i'm,putting another coat of orange on here,i'm really focusing on this orange, because i do not have orange glitter,to cover this up so that's why this, orange has to look, nice and orangey and then after this, dries,i'm going to start glittering the white, part,so the orange looks nice and orangey and,i'm going to wait for this to dry,now now i'm gonna move on to the white, part of the candle jar,i have my mod podge and i'm going to,generously, put this on to the white part, and i'm gonna do this, and then i'm going to sprinkle my,white glitter on here, and this might take a while so let me,pop off this, lid and pour it on here, there we go that's a lot better, and i'm going to do that all the way, around, this jar and don't do the mistake that,i'm doing that i can already see that,i'm doing,is i didn't clean my paintbrush good, enough so some orange is actually, getting on to my um,white part so be careful with that, and i'm just gonna go all the way around, now i'm just doing some orange touch-ups,on here, and i think my white glitter looks, pretty nice i like it,it looks pretty cool i just wish i would, have been more careful with the,uh the paint brush i should have cleaned,it off more and it would have had a,wider look, but i think it still looks pretty great,so i put the lid on the candle, and now it looks like a little candy, corn and that was only a dollar, and i'm going to put that into the gift, bag,i have these little oreos that i got for,a dollar fifty on sale at my local, grocery store, these will also go in here and,i actually did not realize that these, butterfingers, are they are not individually wrapped,so i'm going to have to replace these,i'm going to eat these myself, but i'll replace that later i'm going to,put that in there, and then just put the tissue paper in,here, and there we go a simple little gift you, have a little diy in there, along with some delicious little treats, last but not least is this little candy, corn gift,i got this tin at walmart for 98,cents i love all the little candy corns, even though i'm not a huge fan of candy, corn, candy i can only a few at a time i,thought the candy corn, theme would be so so adorable,i got these socks at party city for 99,cents guys that is so,crazy 99 cents for these socks, and then i got this loofah in a two-pack,i already, separated the loofahs but i like that, this one because it was, orange so i'm gonna stick that into the, little tin,and it really is nice because it gives, the gift, some height and my favorite reese's i'm,gonna put that in the back, and then i'm gonna fold these socks, just like that you can see the candy, corns,i'm gonna put that just like that and, then i'm gonna just stuff, these yorks in the back and then some in,the front,oh my gosh guys this gift was so fast, and super cheap only about three dollars, and fifty cents,it's so adorable and i really like that, the bucket is candy corn, and the socks like how adorable is that, guys this,is super cute, all right guys i hope you enjoyed this, video each one of these gifts worth five, dollars or,under so definitely budget friendly,i had so much fun doing this guys omg i,would be so excited if i got this little, wannabe psl with the five dollar gift, card,oh my gosh i just love starbucky but you, could also do this with like any, other restaurant that your friend or,whoever you're giving this to would like, you can do it with a mcdonald's cup or,anything you know with a five dollar, mcdonald's gift card, and if you know me you know that i love, socks,so getting like halloween socks yes, please, and germax is definitely,a hot commodity right now guys so i,thought that would, that was a really cute idea to put in,there along with some candy, and here is a little secret guys,i'm keeping this for myself,i just i am obsessed with this cup, although it would make an amazing gift, for myself this is gonna be my go-to,halloween cup gift to myself happy, halloween, and then my little diy candle jar,i feel like i kind of rushed this it was, taking forever to dry i was like hurry,up and dry,so i shouldn't have rushed that and i,feel like it would have came out a lot, better, although i still really like it i feel, like my lines could have been a little, more precise, but anyway i hope you guys enjoyed this, video, stay safe and have a happy halloween, guys thanks for watching, bye

DIY Halloween Treat Bags | 31 Days of Halloween

DIY Halloween Treat Bags | 31 Days of Halloween

hey you guys what's up welcome back to,the 31 days of Halloween today I have a,really fun DIY for you these are just, some fun Halloween treat bags so whether, you have school-aged kids and you'd be,bringing something like this to school,or you just want to be the coolest house,on the block handing out these fun, little things this videos for you so the, first one we're gonna start out with is,really easy and it's not even, technically a bag but it's just kind of,a fun little treat so we're gonna be,taking a few lollipops we've got some, tissue paper and also some like curling, string so what we're gonna do is,literally this is so easy I feel silly, even sharing this one but just putting, the tissue over the lollipop to make a,little ghost and we're going to be tying, that orange string right around the base,of the lollipop and just tying it into a,cute little bow,I'm just gonna be repeating this for all,of the lollipops you can see it gives, you this really cute little ghost shape,so once I've done this to all the ones, that I'm going to turn into little, ghosts we can move on to decorating, there's a few things you could do I mean, really could get creative these are just, the things that I would do they're,pretty quick and effective just take a,little sharpie and you can draw on too, little ghost eyes and then a mouth and, then I do have one more idea for you if,you've got some extra free time or,you're just wanting to go the extra mile, you could also hot glue on some little, googly eyes this one I tried to draw, eyelashes on to make it like a girl, ghost and that just like didn't really, work so hot probably wouldn't recommend, that but adding the googly eyes seemed,to kind of like mask that little mistake, and it's also fun so even though this is,literally just gonna get ripped off and, thrown away it will absolutely make the, kids days and I think this is a really, fun little DIY so the next one is kind,of a candy pinata and we're going to be,turning it into a mummy so what we're,doing here is we're just gonna be taking, some cleaned off toilet paper rolls that,I have saved up for this DIY and then,we're going to be cutting a piece of,tissue paper in half I'm also going to,be tying a little string together so I'm,making this tiny little loop with the, curling string and then I'm going to be,adding those fun little curls with some, scissors I love doing this it's so,satisfying does anybody else love that, once you've got your little loop made, you can go ahead and tape that inside, the toilet roll and basically what this,is going to do is act as like a little, pull string so that the kids can open, the pinata so we're just going to be,taping that in on both sides, next I'm going to be taking that little, tissue paper that we cut up in the, beginning and threading that through the, loop that we just taped down and I'm,going to be situating that on the toilet, roll so that you don't see any of the, brown you want it to cover as much as,possible and I'm just going to be,securing that on the side with some, regular tape if you want to you know, take the time to hot glue so you don't,see the tape that's totally fine but, tape honestly it does the job it's very, quick and easy to do with the tape so,that's what I chose to do here I'm doing, that at the top and at the bottom you, want to make sure to leave the bottom of,the roll open though so you can't stuff,it with candy for this one I'm going to,be turning it into a mummy I do have one, other design that you could do for this, that I'll show you here in a little bit,but I am just adding two little dots of,hot glue and some googly eyes for our,Mummy's face, and then for the mouth I'm literally, just sharping on a cute little smiley, face so you could do whatever you want, here you could do a regular smiling you, could do some teeth you could do eyes, nose and a mouth honestly whatever so I,lost the clip or either didn't click, record of me stuffing it with candy but,I'm sorry about that I have it in the, next one I'm showing you but once you, have the candy inside I'm just taking a,little square of the tissue paper and, taping that up on the bottom and then to,add the little mummy strips I'm adding a,little thing of hot glue in the back and, then kind of swooping that around to the, front so that it looks like the cloth, wrapping up the mummy you could also use, that crepe paper for this but I didn't,have any of that so I just used a tissue, paper and it worked just fine but anyway, you can just do that as much as you want,to to get the mummy effect and this is,my first little idea for a candy pinata, this next one is the same concept but,I'm kind of turning it into a pumpkin so,I've got actual like wrapping tissue, paper here I'm gonna be tying up this, loop again and in case I didn't explain, this well enough in the beginning that, loop we're taping that in but loosely, enough so that the kid can pull that, from the top and then have access to,their glorious little pinata full of,candy so that's what that whole thing is,about if you wanted to you could get, creative and put like a little tag or,something on it that says pull me,whatever you think would be cute so I'm,just rolling that up in the orange, tissue paper and taping that down and, then this was a little bit trickier I,did have to cut little slits be sure not,to cut your little loop but cutting, these little slits allowed me to fold, down the tissue paper while leaving my,loop open so it was a little tricky to,do this I kind of didn't think that, through before I started this but it,ended up working just fine once you have, those all cut up and then flipped, downwards you can just tape that shut so,again just make sure the loop is out so,that they can pull the top and have it,and then for this one I'm just turning,it into a little jack-o'-lantern you'll,have to excuse my artistic abilities, here I was trying to like hold it up to,the camera keep it in focus and also, draw on a little check like your face,so this isn't my best work but you could, see idea,so again just char being on a little, face you could really do whatever you, wanted here just get creative and have, fun and then here we go,stuffing it full of little candies I,just thought this was so fun and I,really think that kids would love this,so if you have like some kind of event,to bring to the kids school this would,be really fun if you don't have like a,huge class of kids because this is a,little bit time-consuming but still, really fun so here is my last little, candy pinata and then the third one is,just a classic goodie bag I got these, really cute little cellophane wrappers,at Michael's for like a dollar or two,and you can just stuff it full of candy, you can stuff it full of little like, treats I mean I don't know what kid, doesn't love these little spider rings, but I thought it would also be cute to,show you some like non candy options, because there's so many allergies out, there these days sometimes it's fun to,have a little special treat for kids, that can't have all of the candy who, might have an allergy or something like, that just to still make them feel, special on Halloween so you could do a,totally non candy bag as well I found, these at the target dollar spot for a,dollar just some fun little ideas that, are not candy that you could also stuff, this with to have for those kiddos that, have allergies so those are my ideas, this one again super easy just keeping,it simple kind of adding a little fun, touch with that little curling wrapping, stuff though again just just to make the, kids feel special it's all about the, kids for Halloween right so here are all,my finished ideas I hope you guys, enjoyed this thank you so much for, watching don't forget to Like and, subscribe and I will see you guys, tomorrow

DIY HALLOWEEN TREATS!

DIY HALLOWEEN TREATS!

Hey guys it’s Ro! Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday!,I have been going all out this year! So today we are gonna be making some DIY,Halloween Themed and Spooky Treats! So let’s get started!,The first thing that we’re gonna be making are these simple and delicious,Candy Corn Cookies. And even if you aren’t the biggest fan of candy corn,,I would give these cookies a try, they’re really good!,The things you will need, will be: 2 cups of flour, 3/4 cup of brown sugar,,1 cup of white chocolate chips, a bunch of candy corn, 2 tablespoons of,cream, 1 stick of unsalted butter, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of sugar, a tablespoon of,vanilla extract, a teaspoon of baking soda, a pinch of salt, 2 teaspoons,of corn starch and a cookie scoop!,The first thing that we’re gonna do in a big mixing bowl, we are gonna cream, our butter. Mix it together until it’s light and fluffy.,Now you’re gonna pour in the regular sugar and your brown sugar, and then,we’re gonna cream it together!,Now we’re gonna add one egg, the whole egg, and our vanilla.,Give it another mix!,Now we’re gonna add our dry ingredients, we’re gonna add the flower,,corn starch, a pinch of salt, baking soda!,Now we’re gonna mix it up one last time until it’s evenly combined and,we’re gonna slowly add our cream while we’re mixing.,Lastly we’re gonna add our white chocolate chips to the mixture, and, you can,mix these together with a spatula, or I’m gonna do a really quick mix, with the hand mixer.,Now that we’ve got our dough we’re gonna scoop it out and place it on our pan,,I’ve lined it with a piece of parchment paper so that it doesn’t stick.,So you just take your little scoop like this and go doo-doo!,We’ve got all of our cookies scooped into the pan and now we’re gonna, cover them with saran wrap, and pop ‘em in the fridge for about 2 hours.,Once the cookie dough balls have chilled, I like to transfer them to another, baking sheet lined with parchment paper to bake. I like to bake 6 at a time, so I’m gonna take 6 little, balls, transfer them over, leave a couple inches in between each one of them, because they will expand. And, with your palm, press down flat.,And, don’t worry about the Candy Corn, I have not forgotten!,What we’re gonna do is we're gonna pop our cookies into the oven at 350 degrees, bake for about,6 minutes and be careful because the baking sheet is still super hot!,What we’re gonna do now is place a few candy corns right on top, near the middle,,try not to have them hanging over the sides because they will melt!,Once we have all our Candy Corn in the cookies we’re gonna pop these, back in the oven for 4 minutes. Then take your cookies out of the oven,,give them plenty of time to cool on the pan and then place them onto,a display plate! Or take a bite for yourself!,Mmmmmmm! Mmmm-mmmm-mmmmm-mmmm!,The next thing that we’re gonna be making is this Jack-O-Lantern Bean Dip!,I love making chip dips for parties, because it’s just a fun appetizer that everybody, can enjoy! The things you will need will be: A bag of blue corn tortilla chips,,1 packet of taco seasoning, 1 can of refried black beans, 1 can of black beans,,1 stick of cream cheese, 1-1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of,sour cream, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, I’m using Crystal Louisiana because, that’s my favorite. 1/4 cup of chopped green onions, some olives and,1 tablespoon of diced, pickled jalapeños!,The first thing that we’re gonna do, is in a big mixing bowl, we’re gonna, add our cream cheese, sour cream, our taco seasoning, our jalapeños,,hot sauce, oh I love you! Green onion, and our beans!,Now take your hand mixer and we’re gonna mix our dip together until, everything is evenly combined.,Boom! Delicious!,Now that we got our chip dip all mixed up, we are gonna pour it into our, serving dish, I’m just using a pie pan, I like this white one I had, lying around, I thought this would be really cute!,Now I’m gonna completely cover it with a layer of cheese, it’s gonna be our,top layer! I’m using Cheddar Cheese, because when it melts that nice orange, color is gonna look just like a pumpkin.,Once you’ve got your layer of cheese on top we’re gonna pop it in the oven,at 350 degrees and bake it for 20 minutes.,Dips in the oven and over here I’ve got some olives, a small cutting board, and a knife. And you’re just gonna cut them into slices like this, for some little details, you won’t,need too many of ‘em. We’re gonna use them to make the Jack-O-Lantern’s mouth.,Our dip’s fresh out of the oven, it’s baked! And now it’s time to decorate!,Take your chips, and you’re gonna look for the flattest chip you can.,Like he’s a good one, this one not so good!,So these ones, I can have a snack. Oh!,Then we’re gonna stick ‘em on here, to make a little face!,Then for the nose, you're gonna take another chip, and I'm just gonna break off the, end, so it’s a little bit smaller, and that is gonna be his nose!,Now we’re gonna use those olives we sliced earlier to make his little mouth.,I just like to go up and down, up and down, up and down!,And there you have it! A Jack-O-Lantern Bean Dip!,The next treat that we’re gonna be making are,Mini Peanut Covered Caramel Apples.,The things you will need, will be: 1-11 Ounce bag of caramels, a rolling pin,,peanuts, some apples, I’m using some granny smiths. Some mini cupcake liners, I,found these cute little polka dot ones at a local bake store, a small cookie scoop, or a,melon baller, a plastic zip-top bag, and some wooden skewers.,The first thing that we’re gonna do is crush up our peanuts.,So we take the peanuts, pour them in our plastic baggie, then you’re gonna, take your rolling pin and roll over the top, to crush ‘em up!,Next we’re gonna scoop our apples to make little apple balls, this is very, similar to melon balls if you guys have ever done that.,So you take your little scoop, and your apples, got some apples over here,,and you just scoop it in there, get a little ball! And then bewp! Oh!,Just gonna pat it dry with a paper towel to absorb some of the moisture,,and put it right here, boop!,Once you have as many apple balls as you want, we’re gonna put them into the fridge, and then we’re gonna melt our caramel! Or caramel?,Caramel, caramel! Tomato-Tomato!,I just melted the caramel, you can do this over the stove or in the microwave,,whatever you’d prefer. And now we’re gonna skew, dip and roll!,This is very easy, you're gonna take the little wooden skewer, and skew one of,these cute little apple balls, then you’re gonna dip into the caramel,,let it completely cover. Then bring it up, let the excess caramel drip off.,Now you’re just gonna place it in the middle of the peanuts and roll it around!,I’ve lined the baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper and sprayed it with,a little bit of cooking spray, so that the caramel won’t stick.,Huhhh! Oh my gah! So good!,We’ve got all our little apples assembled and now I’m gonna pop ‘em,in the fridge for about 10 minutes to set.,Da-dew! Here are the candy apples that we made! As a final touch I put, them in these mini cupcake liners after they were done chilling in the, fridge, and then I just lined ‘em all up on a cute little serving tray!,Now onto our last treat, which happens to be a Halloween Themed drink.,Wah-wah-wah-wah-wah-wah!,Next we are gonna be making Monster Mud Slides!,For these drinks we’re gonna be making 2 different versions, 1 non-alcoholic,,and the other one spirited. For the spirited version, the things, you will need, will be: 3 ounces of Vodka, 3 ounces of Bailey’s Irish Cream,,3 ounces of Kahlua Coffee Liqeur, and 3 ounces of milk.,And then for the non alcoholic version, you’re gonna need 1 cup of milk,,2 big scoops of vanilla ice cream, 3/4 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 cup of,chocolate syrup, and, 1/4 cup of cold coffee.,And then to decorate both of these drinks, you will need: Some Reese’s Pieces, candy, Cool Whip, and some fun straws!,First we’re gonna make the spirited version of our Monster Mud Slide.,Over here I’ve got a blender and we’re gonna add 2 cups of ice into our blender.,And then we’re gonna pour in 3 ounces of each liquid here into our blender.,OK, so it’s gonna be two of these, because each one’s a ounce and uh, oh.,Oh geez! I am not a bartender, I am not a bartender! Oh my!,Ooooh! Feel the spirit! Oooh-hoo-hoo-hoo! That’s something isn’t it? OK.,We got all of our ingredients in here, we’re just gonna pop it on the, top, we’ve got your lid on, now blend it up!,Our drinks all mixed up now, so I’m gonna take it off of here.,And you’re gonna take your chocolate syrup, and you’re gonna line your, glasses with a little bit of chocolate syrup, this is very, very easy, you just, tilt it, like this, and then squeeze and rotate around.,Boop-boop-ba-doop!,Oooh! It just drips down, like a mud slide!,I let the glasses sit for about 20 seconds to let the chocolate drip down the, cup, and now we’re gonna fill ‘em up!,Oooooh! Yummy yummy! Now we are gonna set these off to the side and,we are gonna make our non-alcoholic version, and then we’ll decorate!,Now we’re gonna make our non-alcoholic Monster Mud Slide!,The first thing we’re gonna do is we're gonna scoop 2 big scoops of ice cream into, our blender. I’m a firm believer in big scoops of ice cream.,So if you get a little extra, that’s OK!,And then add your milk, your heavy cream. Ooooh! One of my favorites, coffee!,And chocolate syrup!,Look at this, doesn’t it look like emo Frankenstein Monster?,You just don’t understand Dad!,And let ‘er rip!,We’re all done mixing our mudslide, and, I just lined the glasses with, chocolate like I did before. Now let’s fill ‘em up!,Time to decorate, this is my favorite part!,Over here I have a little plastic baggie with a coupler at the end for, more control. This is totally optional, you don’t need to do this.,And then over here I have the frozen whipped cream, really important,,you want to use the frozen stuff so it will hold shape.,So I’m just scooping it, woop! Into my little plastic baggie, over here, and then on the,top we’re gonna pipe, it looks like a ghost monster.,Alright, here we go, you go all the way around, doo-doo-doo-doo-doo!,Fill in the middle! Make the ghost! Boop!,And then we’re gonna put a little Reese’s Pieces in the front for his mouth,,and you can pick any eye color you want, I’m gonna do yellow.,And a little straw, boop!,Ta-da!,Here are all the DIY Halloween treats that we made today!,We made our Candy Corn Cookies, Jack-O-Lantern Bean Dip, our Mini Peanut,Coated Caramel Apples, om-yom-yom-yom-yom-yom-yom!,And our spooky themed drink, we have Monster Mud Slides!,We have non-alcoholic and spirited!,I’ll be posting pictures of these yummy treats on Tumblr, Instagram,,Twitter and Facebook! DIY Halloween Treats

DIY Halloween Treats

Hey guys, it’s Ro!,Halloween happens to be my absolute favorite holiday!,So today, we are going to be making some spooky Halloween Treats.,Let’s get started!,The first treat we are going to be making are these simple,Chocolate Pumpkin Pretzels. The things you will need, will be:,Orange melting chocolates, one bag of mini pretzels, a bunch of,green M&M’s and a little squeezy bottle.,The first thing you’re gonna do is heat up your melting chocolates in a bowl.,I just put them in the microwave, and then pour half of your melting, chocolates into a squeezy bottle.,Then, take a pretzel and completely submerge it into the bowl of melted chocolate.,Using a fork, let the excess chocolate drip off and place it,onto a piece of wax paper. To make them look more like a pumpkin,,take your squeezy bottle and fill in the three holes with orange chocolate.,And then, finally take your green M&M’s and place them on the,top to look like a little stem! Make as many of these as you want!,Om nom nom nom nom! And put them on a plate to serve.,Our second treat that we’re gonna make are these Candy Corn Sugar Cookies.,The things you will need, to make these yummy cookies, will be:,Sugar cookie mix, or your favorite sugar cookie recipe, flour,,1/3 cup of butter, 1 egg, yellow food coloring and orange food coloring.,In a medium bowl, combine your cookie mix, butter, and egg.,Then, mix together until your dough is thick and smooth.,Doo-doo-doo-doo. Now divide your cookie dough evenly into, three separate bowls. Using your yellow and orange food coloring,,dye two of your batches of dough. Once you’ve worked the dye into, the dough, place it flat on top of a piece of cling wrap, and then wrap,it tight. Do this to all of the colors, and put them in the freezer, for about 10 minutes to chill.,While it’s chilling, we’re going to make a little bit of egg wash.,You’re gonna need one egg, crack it open put egg whites in one,,put the yolk off to the side, and mix a little water into your egg whites.,And we’re gonna use this little rubber basting brush to apply.,Once your dough has chilled, brush the egg wash on top of the regular, white dough, then place the orange dough on top. Use your egg wash again,,and then place on the yellow dough. You do this so the dough will stick, together when they bake. Wrap your dough up again and place in the freezer, for one hour to chill. After freezing, cut your dough into thin slices,,starting at the end.,Using a triangle cookie cutter, or a knife, cut out the cookies, and place them onto your baking sheet.,Bake these cookies for about 7 minutes at 350 Degrees and then place, them onto your favorite serving tray.,Ermahgerd! They look just like little candy corns!,Next, we are going to be making a Halloween themed drink.,One of my absolute favorite tropical drinks are pina coladas, so we are, going to be making those with a spooky twist.,Get ready for Pina GHOULavas! This recipe can be made with or without, spirit, it tastes good either way! The things you will need will be:,Coconut rum, if you’d like, 20 ounces of pineapple juice, raspberry puree,,15 ounces of cream of coconut, which is one can, 3/4 cup of water,,2 cups of sugar, 1/2 a cup of light corn syrup, 1/2 a teaspoon of red, food coloring, 1/2 a cup of heavy cream, 1/2 a cup of orange juice and,a bowl of ice.,Before we make our drink, we are going to decorate the rim of our glass,by making candy blood! In a medium sized saucepan, add your water, sugar,,corn syrup, it’s pretty sticky, you can use a spatula, and red food coloring dye.,Heat on top of the stove until a candy thermometer reaches 310 degrees.,Then you’re going to remove the sauce pan and wait for the bubbles to stop popping.,And then you’re going to slowly dip the rim of your hurricane glass, spinning,it around, into the candy, and letting the excess drip onto the glass.,While the creepy candy is setting, we are gonna make the drinks.,First, pour your heavy cream into the mixer, then add your orange juice, pineapple, juice, and creamed coconut. This is also where you can add a little spirit if,you’d like, 10 ounces. Now turn on the blender and mix it up!,bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbsh,Pour all of your belnded drink mixture into a large pitcher, and now,we’re going to make the drinks individually. Add one cup of your mixture back, into the blender with two and a half cups of ice and mix it up!,Using your raspberry puree, pour in a small amount, onto the sides and, bottom of the glass, then pour in your blended drink to finally our Pina GHOULavas.,wah wah wah wah!!!!!,For our last treat, we are going to be making a Halloween themed chip dip,,Frankamole!,The things that you will need for this recipe are: 3 avocados, 1 bag of blue chips,,sour cream, a red onion, some fresh limes, 4 garlic cloves and some black olives.,To make our guacamole I’m using a food processor today, but if you don’t have one, you,can just mash the ingredients together in a bowl, I’ve made guacamole, both ways and they both taste delicious!,First, add your garlic and then 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice.,And then a 1/4 cup of chopped red onion, and then mix them together.,Once mixed, slice your avocados and add them in and mix together until your, desired texture. Do you want smooth or chunky guacamole? It’s up to you!,Put the guacamole onto a big serving plate and shape into a big rectangle.,Now for the fun part, we are going to create Frankenstein’s face.,I put some sour cream in a plastic bag, and I’m piping 2 circles for his eyes.,Then, I’m going to cut our olives into different sizes to complete little, details on his face! Lastly, I’m placing a bunch of chips at the top of his head,in layers to look like hair.,Ta-da!,Here are all the yummy Halloween themed treats we made today!,We’ve got Frankamole chip dip, we’ve got Pina GHOULavas, I love pina colavas,,Candy Corn sugar cookies, and Chocolate Pretzel Pumpkins!,I hope you guys enjoy these treats and I hope you have a happy Halloween!,Bye-bye!
