DIY Couples Halloween Costume Ideas 2019!

hello my love of rosebuds and welcome,back to a brand new video so as you guys,can tell by my pumpkins and my scary,pillow I am so excited for this,Halloween season it's also when my other,favorite seasons which is Libra season,because it is my birthday month so this,is like the most festive month of the,year for me anyways to kick off this,Halloween costume video series I am,starting off with costume ideas for,couples so you guys could do it with,your best friend your girlfriend your,boyfriend a stranger if you want I don't,know just any other person works if you,guys are new to my channel welcome my,name is Norma rose and don't forget to,subscribe down below and hit the,notification bell which you would want,to do because I'm gonna be posting a lot,of Halloween videos so stay tuned and,also if you guys are returning and you,guys are wondering why don't don't this,is my intro is not my intro I officially,cannot use that song anymore so I'm,going in trouble is until I figure out,what I'm gonna do yeah I think that's,all I have to say let's jump into this,video okay so we're gonna start off with,one of my favorites witches Ariana,Grande and NASA so for those that don't,know Ariana has a very popular song,called NASA so I thought this would be a,perfect couples costume,Connor is wearing a NASA astronaut,outfit that we got on Amazon I think it,was like 40 dollars and I'm of course,dressed like ariana grande so I'm,wearing an oversized and NASA hoodie,that I got from Old Navy some thigh-high,boots and of course you're not ariana,grande without a very long Ari ponytail,this costume idea is just super simple,and I feel like you could also use the,clothes even after Halloween well I mean,except for the astronaut costume because,you're probably only gonna wear it once,oh and Connor also had NASA vans which,was a perfect addition to this costume,next up we have my favorite couple from,some of my favorite horror movies you,know the contrary and Annabelle and you,know movies like that so here we have,Edie and Lorraine Warren and of course,you guys could see Connor does not know,how to carry a haunted doll like you,can't be swinging everywhere like that,it's gonna haunt you,Connor is in a gray suit because Edie I,don't know he kind of just wears suits,and just that formal attire I've tried,to match Lorraine to outfit as best as I,could so I'm using a blue colored shirt,with a black dress over top and some,black booties and you know I just look,like a 90 schoolteacher but it's fine,and of course you can't forget the,Annabelle doll which by the way a fun,side fact the real Annabelle doll was,actually a Raggedy Ann doll so that's,why we decided to go with this one,versus the one from the movie because,the one from the movie is really scary,and I just didn't want that in my,apartment just sitting there you know,I accept we have the costumes from the,movie us if you guys haven't watched it,yet it's definitely a good one to add to,the list especially for this Halloween,season so for the costume it's super,easy honestly you're just wearing a red,jumpsuit one brown glove and you're just,holding gold scissors we got everything,from Amazon so you know we got that good,two days shipping and you know don't be,fooled guys this jumpsuit was so hard to,find in my size for someone that's like,5 foot so I definitely had to resize it,and if you guys have to do that too then,I'll show you guys how the first thing I,did was cut off the sleeve and then from,the side seam I marked 2 inches up from,the edge I added pins to keep everything,in place so that I could cut a straight,line down and I definitely overdid it,with the pins like this is just way too,many pins but you guys get what I'm,doing you know I cut along the line,leaving a half inch of seam allowance,from there I sewed along the line with a,straight stitch to make my new side seam,so the crotch was way too low so I,brought up the crotch as well and,instead of making the line go all the,way down to the ankles I just gradually,tapered down the line towards the leg,from there you're gonna do the same,thing pin it in place and then sew along,the line so if the jumpsuit is still too,long for you like it was for me,you could also remove the space in,between the two buttons and that's,exactly what I did so I just folded up,the empty space and then I pinned it,down in place I did this to both sides,in the front as well as the back,once you feel like the fit is pretty,good you could go ahead and top stitch,it with a straight stitch also sorry,guys if I'm zooming through this,tutorial bits because it's it's a twirl,within a tutorial and I already did a,whole video on how to resize your,jumpsuits and another video so I will,definitely link that up at the top and,down at the bottom if you guys want to,watch that one as well,I also reshaped the sleeves because it,was still too big so I removed space,from the bottom and I also redrew the,sleeve opening at the very top after i,redrew my sleeve I cut it out and then I,sewed the bottom edge to make my new,sleeves seam,I'm gonna wear this costume once so free,touching the sleeve isn't too technical,for me I'm just gonna totally eyeball it,all I did was place the sleeve on top of,the body and then I just redrew a new,armhole shape from there I cut it out I,put the sleeve into the hole and then I,matched up the edges and pinned,everything together,once everything is pinned I sewed with a,straight stitch to make my new seam and,you know that's pretty much it this,costume is so simple and so easy I love,that a big group of you guys could do it,I feel like if there's a big group just,holding hands wearing red jumpsuits it's,just so creepy and I feel like everyone,in 2019 will know exactly where this and,lastly from one of my new favorite shows,we have Sabrina and Nick from the,chilling adventures of Sabrina as Nick,Connor is just wearing an all-black,outfit so he's wearing a black,turtleneck a collar jacket slacks and,some shoes and then for me I am wearing,a red long-sleeve top with a lace collar,top that I put underneath and I also,thrift to this one I'm wearing a black,skirt tights and some booties the book,of the beast is optional but if you guys,wanted to see iy your own here's a quick,tutorial so all you're gonna need is a,large book I picked this one up from the,thrift store for only $2 you're gonna,need some cream and brown colored,acrylic paints a mini Styrofoam ball,gold foil paint and some black paint as,well paintbrushes and a glue gun so,first take off the book cover prep your,book whatever and then you're gonna,paint all over the book with some brown,and reddish paint I actually mixed a few,paints that I had because one I'm just,too lazy to go to the store and actually,get brown red paint and two I already,had the paint so might as well so at,first I painted the book with a regular,flat paint brush and then I switched,over to an old makeup brush that I had,and I swirled the paint onto the brush,and actually liked the way that this,looked better than the original paint,brush it just kind of made it a little,bit more splotchy and had that antique,vintage look but you guys are free to do,whichever one you want to do,while that's drying you guys can cut,your ball in half blue one half of the,ball to the front of the book,you're gonna glue on the very center but,a little bit more towards the top of the,book I also added hot glue around the,edges of the ball just to blend,everything together then with a pencil,you're gonna draw a circle around the,ball and then draw an upside down star,within that circle then for that 3d,effect you're gonna add glue to the top,of the pencil markings so if you guys,google the book of the beast it kind of,looks like a ribbon clay type of thing,but you know your girl doesn't have that,she has hot glue though but if you guys,wanna be a little bit extra then you,could also pick up some clay from the,craft store and use that instead next,you're gonna draw a border along the,edges of the book and then carefully,paint that border with your gold foil,paint for the little corner designs,I actually just eyeballed them and kind,of freehand at them because it seemed,pretty easy enough it's just little,curves and little s shapes but feel free,to draw it out with the pencil first if,you guys want to be more precise,I guess I forgot to film this part but,you guys want to poke a hole in the,center of the ball with a toothpick to,make that little white circle then,you're going to add a small strip of,black paint to the center of the eye,with your brown paint cover any unwanted,pencil markings and then add eyelids to,the top and the bottom of your eye I,mixed white paint and the red of brown,paint that I already had together and,with a toothpick I added veins to the,side of the eye finally paint your star,with some gold foil paint and that is,pretty much it as you guys can see from,the final clip I actually painted some,areas with a darker paint that way you,could give it a little bit more of a,vintage look,so for Sabrina and Nick's costumes,honestly you guys could wear whatever,you want it doesn't have to be exactly,what I was wearing because they kind of,just wear normal clothes just with a,color scheme so as long as Nick is,wearing black and white with a,semi-formal type of outfit you're,totally fine and then Sabrina always,just wears black and red so as long as,you incorporate those colors into her,outfit you can have a Sabrina costume,sorry I just socks they go up to mid ankle with,your white converse in his classic,scoops the whole costume with Steve on,the front tie and here's a high hat with,this costume it'll look like you came,just out of stranger things okay so you,guys can see I'm matching Steve's,costume with my long white socks and,white converse that are not very clean,because I read up a lot and then of,course you can't forget about my sailor,shorts and on top I have my ice cream,vest with Robin name on it and my hat,this is ahoy at this cute little red tie,ice cream cone all the typical Robin,things you guys know what I'm talking,about,update I'm now Curious George,I even have banana this is school Monday,yes wait Kirill No thank you sir no oh,I'm holding you do that I have my black,flats and brown tights to go with dots and then we,just bought a package that had these,ears and a scuba do color in it because,you know is the iconic scooby-dooby-doo,costume that's a great look that's all I,have to say I'll freestyle robbery ready,yeah my name is I can't rap here on the,street and we're wearing dark suits and,we're doing really sweaty they're just,all out of this heat no swag money rat,boy,you're not a gonna be doing a tier list of,couples costumes we are indeed a couple,are you like looking at me to comment on,that like no corroborated yes yes we are,yes yes we are dating no i was gonna,comment about the sound of our dogs,eating in the background we have dogs we,have dogs you know what if you're,forgetting about it,doesn't want it so that's not,just doing dog things,we don't feed them can they die yeah,that's what you want are you pro puppy,death daddy,wow wow it's the puppy death for me wow,yeah let's get into the tier list here,are our tears bottom tier we have frat,party because it good spoop now and then,so let's get into it first couple's,costume for the tier list,the cop inmate pairing i have always,been baffled when i see this one i'm,like,dressing up as a cop for halloween is,just lazy like that's just a job,and then dressing up as a prison in me,listen we in the sam and ryan cinematic,universe do not condone kink shaming but,like if if this kind of dom sub thing one of,my,like,top three halloween costumes i've wanted,to do for so long and we absolutely,killed it agreed,and it's a costume that i really wanted,to do,and,ryan agreed to,and i got the costume stuff for it you,were you were a great participant but to,me this definitely falls into creative,girlfriend well right i mean and also my,like,so you always dreamed of going to a,halloween party or event as christine,and the phantom or you just really,wanted to dress up as christine and i,was also there both,like i've always wanted to dress up as,christine daya i just love her and,phantom of the opera is one of my,favorite musicals and movie and i've,always wanted to do it as a couple's,costume with a partner who would dress,up as the phantom for me you know what i,mean not with you,for me,creative girlfriend yeah i mean,yeah,there's a world where this could,probably graduate to spoopy but,considering our particular experience is,literally you did all the work and i,sort of begrudgingly put it on and was,like okay musical theater i get it,yeah i think i almost said spoopy girl,creative girlfriend is a great place to,put it let's move on the twins from the,shining this to me,is a one classic halloween costume that,is really scary because the shining is,horrifying and these twins are so eerie,but the fact that you would have a,partnership where it's like yeah we are,both gonna be the twins we are both,gonna wear the dresses we are going to,commit to being these scary soup twins,right that's not just a creative,girlfriend right there like he put on a,dress yeah like he he committed to,the costume like that's spoopy yeah that,is the spirit of halloween just commit,to the costume my only question with,this is,and i'm genuinely asking does one of the,twins wear a watch,sometimes you gotta know what time it is,on halloween girl you have an iphone i,guarantee you or you know what else,doesn't have pockets well okay so here's,a crate ready for this what hey what,time is it someone at the party knows,walk into the kitchen peep the microwave,my guy oh you gotta watch on still,okay,frat party no,no i think spoopy it's still spooky,it's a great idea any,amalgamation of genders or orientations,could pull this copy off with flying,colors,uh and like,this is in the theme of halloween like,this is a terrifying movie and these are,terrifying characters so i agree,spoopy's a great place for them,up next we have sunny and cher ye olde,sunny and cher you know them you love,them they made a musical about them did,they well i mean the share show,oh dude,i was thinking about mamma mia,because i was thinking about cher and,mom and me here we go again the share,abba album anyways sonny and cher,i mean,good costume idea definitely better than,you know like oh,we're mummies a solid pop culture,reference like iconic and recognizable,but it feels a little easy feels a,little safe i feel like anytime i see a,sunny and chair costume,i think that,the girl because i empathize with this,really just wanted to dress up as cher,because like the long black wig the,sequined kind of see-through bodysuit,like it's such an iconic costume and,then,sunny just has like a bowl cut and a,mustache yeah i mean so yeah okay so,we're we're viewing it seems like most,of these through like the,heteronormative lens yeah like a boy,girl couple yeah okay yeah because like,i guess i can't personally think of many,if we're going off the trope straight,guys who are just like dying to dress up,as sunny,yeah so are you saying creative,girlfriend well i don't know i think i'm,leaning towards creative girlfriend but,i've also seen this costume it's not,very so many times it's not very,creative so that's what i'm saying is i,i think it's was like,and the guy was like in a hospital gown,with his butt out and blood all over him,then we'd be in frat party territory,yeah but since you know,it's a nurse doctor,party city i think that's a great place,to put her,yeah,yeah be more creative just be more,creative,up next,we have,justin timberlake and britney spears at,the i believe it was the vmas or the mtv,awards the denim look the denim outfit,now i'm always a fan of a pop culture,reference,halloween costume,this is one that,would take a lot of culture reference,from like 20 years ago i know,but i mean i don't know it's iconic like,you look at it and you know it's justin,timberlake and britney spears,the thing i i've seen it a few times,which makes me lean recycled but,think about how hard it would be to find,a full denim suit denim cowboy hat and a,denim gown like that to me takes some,creative girlfriend energy like level of,commitment to the costume so why not,push it all the way up to spoopy,because,i've seen it a few times okay so it's,like it's like spoopy tear creativity,and hunting it down but we've seen it so,many times that it's also recycled so,you do the math what's in between spoopy,and recycled on our list creative,girlfriend that's where she goes,do you agree,yeah,you don't really care about this costume,not not not a whole bunch no moving on,all right this is a pop culture,reference that has exploded recently,harley quinn and the joker yes last year,and the year before i feel like ever,harley quinn yeah i feel like this is,another example of like,i'm,i'm a girl i want to be harley quinn i'm,dragging my boyfriend to this party so,he will be the joker although i don't,know because i feel like boys want to be,the joker yeah no boys definitely want,to be the joker i see joker costumes all,the time and it's one of those things,where they are,classic but they're classic in the sense,that like,i feel like it's when you don't really,have an idea for a halloween costume and,you're wandering the aisles of party,city took the words out of my mouth,because you said i see this costume all,the time and i'm like where,party city,and again like i think harley quinn and,joker they're good costumes totally and,they're recognizable it's it's fun,you'll probably feel really cool in them,but because they're so popular i feel,like,they've just been mass-produced at party,city yeah if you're like at a party in,west hollywood and you see like a rich,couple who hunted down the pieces and,really beat their faces to match the,look then we're in spoopy territory but,more often than not you find people who,found us at a party city and like barely,yeah it's not like cosplay level right,it's party city level i agree for the,most for the most part that's what we,see so we're putting them in party city,all right up next surprise it's another,one that we have done it is skeleton,this one is tricky to me because i think,we killed it and we didn't put that much,effort at all into the makeup,did we kill it or are we just pretty,really attractive yeah i think we're,just i think we're attractive it's one,of those things where the skeleton,costume like just doing the face paint,really simple,i do think still works or you can go,all out on it like do really cool skull,makeup like a latex suit or just a,really cool all black ensemble like,it's it's a great base level costume,that you can take really far because,right we literally just wore black and,painted our face that's all we did yeah,yeah but we looked good yeah but i mean,when do we not t ah so now we're just,talking about us for some reason going,out and buying a costume feels like less,work than like doing the intricate,makeup and like wearing that around like,i don't think that's like a frat party,thing i don't think that's like a party,city thing no but it's definitely not a,top tier moment so i guess it's in the,middle is that like a recycled we see it,a lot too it's an easy thing to do it's,one of those things where it's not a top,tier moment unless like you're a makeup,artist and you go all the way yeah so i,think it lands middle of the road we see,it a lot it's easy it's a last minute,thing you can do or you can really,commit so recycled penny,last but not least,beetlejuice and lydia beetlejuice and,lydia beetlejuice and lydia,see what right in there yeah beetlejuice,beetlejuice juice,alex brightman comes,right,i,how i don't know how alex breitman give,us free stuff,i love this costume because i feel like,it's so,iconic it's recognizable and yet i don't,think it's,overdone yet we'll probably get LAST MINUTE COUPLE COSTUME IDEAS FOR HALLOWEEN

what's up guys I'm coming out to you,with some last-minute,easy couple costume ideas so I really,hope you find this helpful these are,some of my favorites so I really hope,you guys enjoy and let's get started,okay so for this first costume you could,be at Mia Wallace & Vincent Vega from,pulp fiction and if you don't know who,these two are you definitely should,watch this movie it's a classic it's so,good it's definitely one of our,favorites and it's a very popular couple,costume because it's so easy a lot of,the stuff you can probably find in your,own closet already so it's perfect for a,last-minute costume so for Mia's costume,the basic thing you need is a white,button-down shirt now you could go for,the classic collar one which is what she,wears in the movie but I wanted to,change it up a little bit just in case,there is other Mia's out there um so I,went for this off the shoulder one from,Windsor which I think matches her vibe,very well and then for the rest of it,you just need some black jeans I just,wore some I already had in my closet,along with some strappy black sandals,but you could also go for black pumps,and then you need a black wig unless,your hair is already like this which is,epic,but I got mine off of Amazon and then I,wore some red lipstick and carried,around fake cigarettes for perhaps for,Vincent the main thing is an all black,or dark-colored suit so easy as well for Marty's,costume all you're going to need is a,white and black button-down shirt a red,vest and a denim jacket that's kind of,like his main top on part that's gonna,kind of like stand out for the rest of,it you just need some light washed denim,jeans and some like vintage looking,sneakers he wears Nikes with like the,red stripe but I just had some white,ones already that I just wore or of,course you can wear converse another,thing is he wears aviators or some type,of like sunglasses and then I have,bought a Casio watch like an old baby's,watch from Amazon like that like always,I'll have all the stuff links you can,buy it super easily and then if you can,skateboard which I can't but you can,carry on a skateboard or skateboard all,night which would be really fun so,moving on to a Doc's costume this one is,also very easy and Pat actually had a,lot of the stuff in some closet um so,you only need to buy a few things so,starting off with the main parts of his,outfit you need some some sort of like,khaki colored pant um and then like a,floral or patterned shirt doc always,wears this kind of like crazy stuff,underneath his lab coat you could go for,like the one suit lab coat if you wanted,to but this one is just a little bit,easier so we just bought a lab coat off,of Amazon and then a crazy like Einstein,mad scientist wig with some glasses and,it looked perfect like he definitely,recognizable especially if you stand,together I just think it's so fun and,you can make this a group costume too I,think it would look really epic,for the third costume we went for a,classic storybook row and we did Alice,and Mad Hatter couple-costume,we took inspiration from not only Tim,Burton's Alice in Wonderland but also,Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler I love,how they both kind of modernized it and,made it a little bit different from the,classic one this also makes it super,easy to pull from your own closet hence,being perfect for a last-minute costume,so for Alice's outfit I just wore this,off the shoulder denim dress which I had,all through the summer and that's truly,loose to make it more Alice I tied,around a white apron which I got from,Amazon along with my socks which are,just like a white with black bow socks,and they're like up to the knee but I,scratched them down into like my,everyday fall booties just to make it,like I said a little bit more modernized,I guess and then I wore a black choker,and then a blonde wig which I already,had from my stranger things video um but,you can go ahead and wear like a classic,Alice weight with like the bangs and,everything if you want to and then,lastly I found this little rabbit purse,from Amazon it has like the Queen of,Hearts on it I thought it was perfect it,kind of tied the whole look together and,plus you can keep stuff in it which is,awesome and then for Mad Hatter this one,was really easy to put together,also because Pat had a lot of the stuff,so he just wore some black denim jeans,with like rips and then along with his,um Brown like lace-up boots which,matched the brown hat which we bought,from a Halloween store and then around,that we tied a like a fun printed scarf,that I already had owned and then he,wore a green printed top from ASOS which,he can wear again and then to mix prints,because Mad Hatter we had put on some,like striped suspenders which again he,already had making this so easy for him,and then for the hair I just bought some,orange temporary hairspray from the,party store and sprayed that all over,his head and we even smudged some,eyeliner onto it under his eyes to make,them look even more mad and after that,the costume is complete I absolutely,love this one I think this one was her,favorite just because of how fun Easy Last-Minute Couples Halloween Costume! | Couple Costume Ideas

hi everyone tabitha seller here welcome,back i'm so happy to see you guys today,today i have a really fun halloween,costume for you guys i'm thinking,something along the lines as you know,something with a couple,um something for your you and your,significant other or you and another,friend how much fun would it be if you,guys watch this video together and you,guys craft the costume together wouldn't,that be fun,so today i'm thinking um like a soap and,sponge i know you've probably seen it,before but you probably never made it so,let's go ahead and make one today,to start we're going to cut out the,pieces needed to create the soap costume,when cutting out your pieces make sure,that you cut it out in the white felt as,well as the foam interfacing pull out,your ironing board and with one of your,foam interfacing pieces place it on top,with the glue facing up it can be any of,your foam interfacings because we're,going to do this step to all of the,pieces place your felt on top of the,interfacing,then your pressing cloth and with a hot,iron press your fabric in place what,we're essentially doing is adhering the,felt to the foam interfacing the foam,interfacing will give your costume some,stability complete this step until all,of your felt and foam pieces are adhered,together now let's assemble these pieces,together,place your largest rectangle on a flat,surface with the foam side facing up,now take one of the medium rectangles,which is the side and you're going to,align it to the longer edge of the,larger rectangle that you've laid first,making sure that the foam side is facing,down pin in place and take it to your,machine and sew it at a half an inch,seam allowance the next steps are easy,because you're going to repeat the same,steps that we've previously done on the,opposite side of your soap so take your,medium rectangle place it on the,opposite edge of the front piece pin it,in place and sew it at a half an inch,seam allowance,take the larger rectangle and pin it to,both of the medium rectangles that,you've previously sewn together once,they're pinned go ahead and take it to,the sewing machine and again sew it at a,half an inch seam allowance we're almost,finished now we're going to pin the last,small rectangle to one of the side,openings it doesn't matter but this will,be the top part of your soap once it's,pinned go ahead again and take it to,your sewing machine and sew it at a half,an inch seam allowance now we need to,cut out a hole for our head so at the,top rectangle that you just finished,sewing,draw a circle i found that a six inch,diameter is just right,on the side of the circle draw a five,inch line once that's finished go ahead,and cut out the circle and cut along the,line that you just drew,now we need to cut out circles for the,arms i found that a 5 inch diameter is,just perfect for this,if you need it bigger go ahead and,adjust if necessary,i like the arm cutouts to be about one,inch from the top seam,now pull out your blue felt and write,out the word soap and block letters make,sure that the letters are all at the,same height of 8 inches,after you've written out the letters cut,them out,arrange them on the soap costume that,you've just sewn all by yourself,and hot glue the letters in place,and you're done how easy was that,costume now let's move on with the,loofah costume,now this costume is really easy and it,requires no sewing,starting out with the base of your,costume you'll need a t-shirt and some,white pants whatever t-shirt color,you're wearing that's the color tulle or,netting that you'll be using for this,costume i like to use netting which is a,heavy duty tool it's a bit more,structured and the holes are a tad bit,bigger i prefer this fabric because it,holds its shape better keeping the,netting folded in the way that it came,pin one end to your shoulder now take,the netting and wrap it loosely to the,opposite shoulder pinning it in place,now loosely wrap the netting around your,back side and pin it at your side,remember as you're going along you're,going to do this as loosely as possible,you don't want the tool or the netting,to be tight to your body,you're going to continue wrapping and,pinning wrapping and pinning until you,get to the bottom of your t-shirt,or until you feel like you're fully,covered in tulle,remember that as you're going along,don't overthink it luffas aren't perfect,so just have fun with it and go with the,flow another thing that i want you to,remember that as you're going along you,can go back and make adjustments if,necessary,this costume is extremely forgivable,there's no mistakes to be made here,once you get to the end cut your netting,and pin the end of your fabric in place,we're almost finished we need one minor,detail,the loafer rope,it's quite simple,fold your rope in half and stick a,safety pin through both ends of the rope,then pin your loofah rope to your,shoulder and that's it,both the soap and the loofah sponge are,fast and easy costumes to make but let's,see how they look together,oh my gosh how cute are we,you guys round of applause for my,husband for participating in this,how fun was the bunny but austin,powers and fun body it's a very fun sexy,outfit for everyone it's also one of the,ones that's really fun to get ready,especially if you're film button so it's,very fun again
