6 Easy DIY Halloween Carnival Activities for Kids at Home
i put a spell on you,and now you're my hi guys welcome back,to my channel,welcome to d luna diy mom,so happy halloween everybody uh today,i'm going to be showing you guys how,i made some diy halloween carnival games,for my kids here at home so since this,year we're not going to be,trick-or-treating,i decided to make a halloween party and,have,lots of activities for my kids to be,entertained the entire day,hi guys so let's get started first of,all i use,the diy pvc soccer ball that i made for,my son,and i'm using that as a knit to catch,all the,bean bags that my kids are going to be,tossing inside the ghost,that's why i was using my measuring tape,so then after i measured and cut the,dimensions that i needed,then i went with a black marker,and traced the ghost first i thought i,was going to make,three holes but instead i just made one,big,hole for its mouth so my kids can throw,the bead bags through,only one hole and then i,did the same thing for the background,that i was going to use,to cover the entire,goal soccer goals that i was going to be,using,once i cut the ghost then i went and,traced it again,with the black marker so it can be more,defined,and then i colored in the eyes black i,was going to use,like some googly eyes but instead i just,wanted to make it simple,and i didn't want to look for those big,googly eyes so i just,colored them in,so i found this background at the dollar,tree,it was like a next to the school section,and i thought it was it would be great,for,this ghost game,do,i use the glue stick to glue,the ghost to the background and,that was it,next i went over to the soccer goal and,i used double tape to tape the edges of,the pvc,to the background and,there you have it i got a beanbag,tossing,so for the ring toss i went over to the,dollar tree again i got the foam board,and i got six of the cones,and then i got also some,orange uh letter stickers,so so then i labeled the game,with the letter stickers putting ring,toss on it,next i use the yellow paint that i got,from walmart,the acrylic paint and then i start,painting the,lower bottom of the cones i did those to,all of them,and then i went on with the white,acrylic paint,and i painted the top part,so,after painting all the cones which did,take a little bit of time because i had,to reapply,the acrylic paint over and over again,until,it was well defined then i went over,with,my hot glue gun and i glued,them onto the foam board,so,so here i opened a glow-in-the-dark,necklace,uh packet from the dollar tree just to,show you how it was going to make,an actual ring glow-in-the-dark ring,with it and my kids were gonna start,playing,uh the ring toss game,so for this game i needed a big,construction paper,so i can fit all through the,foam board so i could put it on most of,the part of the foam board,so then i used a black marker to,kind of draw a pumpkin and then i used,the,green construction paper to draw the,stem,and then i started to cut some faces,with black construction paper and,i put some a little bit of magnet on,the eyes and the nose and the mouth,and i did the same for the little pieces,of,the eyes the nose and the mouth so they,can attach,to the board and,that was it,so,so,so,hopefully my kids have fun with this one,i'm going to try to see if i can,blindfold them,and try to see if they can put,the face on the pumpkin and we'll see,how,long they'll be entertained with this so,that's all for that one,a really fun one that my kids,actually tried out and they were really,entertained with this,so we're really looking forward to,playing this for,our halloween party here at home so you,just,draw some little pumpkins you cut them,out,you put paper clips on them and i went,to the dollar tree,and got the rod set for fishing,so i just use my hot glue gun to put,a magnet at the end of the fishing rod,so they can attach to the paper clips,and that was it it's super simple and,really fun,so,so,this game i used some clear,cups you can use any cups you want i,just,happen to have those in hand from other,parties or,other get-togethers i had before and,this game did cost me a little bit more,money because,i bought the foam board and then i found,i bought all the goodies that i was,gonna put,inside of each of the cups,so i made sure i got like halloween,goodies like stickers,and rings and fun little games that they,can,be glad to to find like surprises,uh because i didn't want to put candies,because i'm,trying to avoid to get so many candies,this year,because they will go in the trash,eventually so,i don't want to waste a lot of candies,so this is a great way,to get excited and get into the,halloween spirit,so as you can see here i bought a packet,of,gift wrap paper but there was only a,limited amount of,orange so i used the one that was,the orange and white as well so,i tried to put some dimension on it so i,put some of the cups that had those,on the edge of it just to make it,look like i don't know more decorative,hey,after i did that to all the cups then i,used my hot glue gun,and i started gluing,all the cups the bottom of the cups to,the foam board,so,lastly i cut some construction paper,and i decorated the background of the,foam board,and that was it hope you liked it see,you in the next video

those classic games hi I'm,Brittany with family fun everyday where,our goal is to make it simple for you to,create lasting memories with your family,so if you want ideas for those everyday,games that you can do go ahead and,subscribe so you can check out all of,our videos in the future,so now back to those four creative,twists on Halloween games the first one,is with donuts on a string the twist,here is that it's spiders on a web I,know I am NOT a fan of spiders but I do,like this game and you'll know why it's,because of the donuts but instead of,using glazed doughnuts we are using,chocolate doughnuts that's right oh I,love chocolate mmm so good,so in this case we're also going to get,some chocolate licorice and each donut,needs three pieces of licorice,you're gonna divide each one into thirds,so you have nine pieces eight of those,are going to be your legs which you can,just put in around the side of the donut,once those are in you can use some,frosting to attach some edible eyes then,once it dries for a little bit you're,just gonna use some gift wrapping string,to be able to hang it on a spiderweb,once all of those spiders are ready,you're ready to hang them up whether you,use a broom or we used a stand go ahead,and decorate it with spiderweb holiday,lights to give it that festive look and,then the twist when you play the game is,that those spider legs are poisoned dumb,tongue that's right we don't eat them,not need to ever want to eat a spider,except for our chocolate one so you're,going to try and eat as much as you can,around the donut while leaving those,spider legs in place go ahead and get,creative on how you're doing that and,you can keep playing until you have just,two spider legs left once you're left,with two then you're done and you're,gonna wait and see what everybody has,just two spider legs left whoever ate,the most of their spider is the winner,it's a lot of fun a little bit messy but,we had a blast doing it now,to twist number two is with multiple,mummies you've probably seen the game,where you wrap someone up in toilet,paper to create a mummy look well we're,gonna do a twist on that we're actually,gonna use crepe paper because it's a,little bit stronger you're gonna wrap,the first person up just like you would,with a normal toilet paper mummy game,but after this one you're gonna have a,team really you want to divide into two,teams and then you're going to have each,person wrapped up as a mummy to start,then once that is ready you're gonna try,and unwrap the first person directly,into the second person so they're gonna,be spinning in opposite directions and,then what's the second persons are at,he'll unwrap into the third and so on,until you've completed your line of,people you can have the winner in a,couple different ways one could be,whichever team completes all of their,players first or you could play that,whoever has the longest piece of the,crepe paper left intact is going to be,the winner because you're bound to break,it a few times when that happens just,have them hold the next piece and keep,on wrapping or wrapping up into the,other person so those two ways to be,able to play are a lot of fun our third,twist is unmeet cakewalk so in a classic,cakewalk you put numbers on the ground,everyone goes around it and then once,the music stops they stop you call it a,number whoever is on the number wins but,in this twist instead of putting numbers,on the ground we're gonna use pumpkins,so I drew two sets of pumpkins and then,you put one set of the pumpkin on the,inside and then the other set of all the,pumpkins is used to create the circle,around the outside again you just play,music while people walk around in the,circle,and then once the music stops they pick,up the closest Jaclyn or race to the,center to see who can find the match the,fastest and if whoever finds the match,is the winner or if you want to make it,a little bit longer for a more grand,prize at the end you can have whoever is,the last person each round to make their,match be out of the circle while,everybody else plays and then again the,last person in the round is out of the,circle and you keep playing until,there's just one person left so that is,our pumpkin patch match twist on a,classic cakewalk twist number four the,final one is on bobbing for apples but,in this case you don't have to get your,face wet oh but you do get to dive,face-first into some food just like,bobbing for apples instead of planting,your head to face-first into water,you're going to do it into a pancake,that's right this is a pancake pumpkin,carving contest so in this case you can,just dye your pancakes orange and green,to make them look like pumpkins and then,everyone gets one on the plate and they,have 60 seconds to carve a pumpkin using,just their teeth you can do a,jack-o'-lantern face or you can do a,shape like I did a bat when we played so,ever you want to do and in the end you,can judge in various hey everyone ominous honda here and,welcome back to another video,today we're going to be taking a look at,my progress so for on my 2020 haunt,this is the clown room i've been working,on it for about um two days now,and i just moved the animatronics in,very recently and if you're following my,instagram,you will have known that and um yeah i,just put these uh,the animatronics up today i moved this,in yesterday this is the custom made,ticket booth and i will show you how to,make it uh in a few minutes this is,chuckles,i got them in yesterday as well i just,finished assembling them a few minutes,ago,so keep in mind uh it's not finished yet,i just need to add the,lighting and some of the props before,i'm done but i just wanted to show you,the progress,so far that i have made on the room and,uh what else,what else i am going to do on it so i,figured i might as well um,walk you through the whole room and show,you what i've done,so first things first over here we have,this uh table this is where i plan to,have some table top props like these,guys here,uh the harlequin doll here as well these,are just some um,little clowns i found and i thought they,looked pretty good in here,uh so yeah we have this is like for the,um i haven't finished obviously with all,the stuff yet but uh this is for,chuckles,i've got the step pads adapter and yeah,i just plan to have a tabletop props in,here i'll give you a quick demo of,her right now,so yeah she'll be sat on this table with,some other tabletop props once i uh get,them in,so i'm on the wall here i just had these,um like i had like this pack of uh,carnival themed,wool items i uh put some of them here,we've got like a,spilled popcorn and a knife and then up,over here we have carnival cabinet area,where we have some balloons on it and,there was something here but i think it,must have fallen off,but um yeah over here we have the main,carnival wall with the animatronics in,front of it,this is the towering clown i'll give you,demo him and,the twitching clown in a second yeah the,walkers all the way along there,uh at the back here we have some things,that are hung up on the wall like the,others creepy clown here and then,here we can see but behind me have this,like um axe hand things it's,like there's someone behind her an axe,followed up pretty good,and of course here are the um two animal,products i have in front of here,there's twitching clown and then here is,my custom-made ticket i moved him in,here uh yesterday,as i'm sure you've seen on instagram,yeah here he is uh one of the,with the posters stuck up i think it,looks pretty good so,it is a old wardrobe i just converted,into a,ticket booth for now and uh yeah we got,the this,uh rod which hangs the clown on it uh,here's the front of it with the posters,and everything we have the beware,uh the tickets uh the circus itself,they've got to be there again on the,side,we have like these little freak show um,order tease here like we have a poster,of him and then we have a clown face,on the other side we have the same kind,of thing we have this like uh,creepy clown girl and then another one,over here,and then uh we do have i do have a um,the wall on the back that i can't really,show you right now because it's against,the wall,so i apologize for that but it is,exactly the same on the wall it just,doesn't have any of these on it,and of course as for the inside it has a,sticker at the back for the,i mean i think i mean and then the,actual client itself it's just a sunstar,clown i,found and i figured it would look pretty,good in here and then yeah,it's it's just there's nothing else in,there just the clown so you can see it i,will do a,demonstration of him now,so yeah he's pretty cool i have him on,um sensor,so yeah i thought i looked pretty cool,in there so he goes on continuous when,he's on the sensor and even the,slightest thing will um,activate him which can get a little bit,annoying so i just have them off for now,but as we move down here we have this um,like two-piece,wall covering with like these creepy,clowns on it i thought it,suited the whole scene so um this is how,it looks from,the back i think it looked pretty good,and then uh down here we have a chuckles,and the skeleton,i didn't really have a place to put,chuckles this year i don't i couldn't,really uh i was going to put it on top,of this,but there isn't any space for him so i,just kind of had him on top of his box,now,but uh next to him we have a skeleton,i just had that i got that from wilco,last year and yeah i just thought,let's put them there for now so um,without further ado i'll give you a,demonstration,of these two,i'm looking for someone to play hide and,seek with,you will hide if running,so that was all those phrases definitely,probably my favorite prop i own in a,minute,i just love this guy he's really cool,really creepy definitely very tall,and yeah just an absolute amazing prop,in um total,and then here's the twitching clown i'll,give you a demo of him,so there was that guy definitely a very,good prop uh he only has one,frame and that's just him doing that,maniacal laughter so,yeah he doesn't have any other like,phrases or anything but i still love him,he's really cool,he definitely differs in height uh to,this guy but i still love them both the,same,and then of course over here we have,chuckles i will do a demo of him for you,now,hello don't you,it just puts me in a great food,makes me want wanna break something,then falling,so there was chuckles it is a shame that,i won't be able to um hang him up,anywhere but i will try and do something,for him i yeah like i said i was,initially trying to put him up there but,um he was just too big for that so,i'll try and find some other way to 3 DIY carnival games for a fun and affordable party
want to have your own DIY carnival games,there actually it's actually easier than,you would think I know you're just in,the aficionado when it comes to DIYs and,these are phenomenal but so much fun,they're fun and they're easy and they're,affordable these were really don't it,because you want to know what my,material of choice was plywood wait I,had some extra plywood kicking around I,got three games out of two sheets of,plywood so about $40 investment and then,just some paint and really you can let,the creativity flow and kind of do just,about anything you want so because I was,using flat comes in four by eight sheets,you can see the larger boards here I,actually cut two feet off of the top at,the hardware store I just had it cut had,them cut it for me yeah there with the,leftover pieces the first game that I,created is right over here and this is,an airplane a paper airplane toss I love,it the idea with this is you set up just,a little table station you've got your,paper now everybody I found has a very,distinctive way of how they think their,airplane is the most aerodynamic way so,the challenge begin,everybody tries they're skilled at,building whatever that airplane is and,then you set up a marker line and then,just toss them straight or only the,points and you can do it points board,oh yeah the course of your party yeah,and see who that what tossing winner is,for something like that you want so I'm,going to try it,sure I mean Oh where's Nolan Nolan come,over here and give the airplane toss a,try,let's see your mom made it so let's see,if you can yell over here buddy we'll,get you there next here you go okay,airplane if you can get so my gosh like,so far oh go closer a little closer,closer,oh well that's pretty good you got a,couple more Helzer closer closer closer,and closer oh oh so close so closer like,lately lately close fried my doing,so now we get to the big sheet supply,way yes so I wonder what we're gonna do,here does the splash don't come on over,here so the idea with this you can go,right over to that side ready the idea,with this is the summer gets hot and it,does a great little cool off station and,I also figure cuz it's kind of along the,premise of a dunk tank if you want to do,this in your neighborhood for a block,party this is a good barometer to figure,out what neighbors dislike you likely,the ones to line up first - / - right I,wonder who we're gonna get to get done -,though this is gonna be a tough one,you know what here's a kid,other son the mechanics of this just to,show you really quickly we haven't,filled it with water yet it's all just,based on really simple brackets,yeah my hinge is and this just some,frisbees and some two-by-four really,really simple so I've done it within a,way that the hook is held here up top,with some chain and in the back yeah so,you just hook the bucket oh if I can get,the bucket right there yeah we're gonna,put some water you ready,I don't know how warm this is oh my gosh,watering sorry Everett so this is,amazing I I mean I would love to know,how many tries it took you to get this,damn well you know what not very many,okay so you figured this out pretty,quick pretty quick and I'll have full,instructions it'll be up on the website,with and the measurements you just kind,of play with the chain that's really all,it is wherever you screw the chain in,the back to hold this up and you're good,to go now behind you yes you've got a,bucket with some wet sponge ball I think,I'm gonna clear out of the way good your,aim is all right wet for you have your,gonna aim at the targets here and see if,this works,alright so I just have to get it into,frisbee get it out of frisbee,great you want to take it up a notch,from here cuz you know it's hard to top,a dunk bucket but it's awesome I know,you you and I we both of our photo ops,yeah so I've done this really simplistic,photo face board so anybody can pop in,behind you can have this as a station to,you know take some fun candid family or,okay why don't we get a couple of,volunteers we have Nolan we have our,intern okay pictures for the first part,and for the second half have some fun,with hi so I hope we stand a little bit,away yes I would okay,I love you if you guys that is so fun,think about this in your neighborhood,you can do siblings against each other,against each other it's so much fun if,you're the one throwing the pie yes put,it there

or some people Halloween is the biggest,event of the year for instance Travis,says he has more Halloween decorations,and Christmas decorations but judging by,where he's at this morning I'd say he's,met his match Travis I know man this it,completely just blows my house out of,the water so I've seen a lot of,Halloween decorations and a lot of,Halloween houses this one though is,definitely one of the best the National,Retail Federation says this year,Americans are expected to spend 8.8,billion dollars on this one holiday,alone about 30 percent of all that money,goes to decorations and it's because a,house is just like this one in this,quiet south Tulsa neighborhood you can,hear the wind blowing through the trees,the autumn leaves rustling on the ground,but one yard is screaming step two years,ago I did a couple of pirates climbing,up a tree and it was just a okay-okay,didn't really cut it for Laurie Conway,so she had a thought what do people get,creeped out about clowns everybody so,like a mad scientist in a laboratory,Conaway got to work on her front yard,carnival or rather carnival my mind,starts going and I start coming up with,ideas in the middle of the night it's,fun creepy at the same time yeah it's,pretty special to have a house like this,I love Halloween I love the fact that,you could get creative with it I love,the fact that you can get weird you can,get freaky you can get colorful and,that's exactly what Conway did clowns,sideshows games projections for a night,under a demented twisted big top,planning a block party for the,neighborhood what's your favorite thing,over here right now,I like the fortune teller I really like,it,what's your favorite thing over here,brahmadeva God pretty much makes around,people to match or vision but despite,all the creepy clowns the scariest thing,might be how much all of this costs I,shop at Goodwill through stores Facebook,marketplaces but you know I $5 it $2 it,$5 right here you know I'm trying to do,it on a budget we'll see we'll see how,that goes I don't want to think about it,she couldn't think of a dollar amount or,rather didn't want to think of a dollar,amount but looking at the smiles on kids,faces and the number of cars that stop,by to snap a picture you could say it's,priceless every year I'm gonna keep,adding and adding until I'm broke and,Laurie has one more block party that she,needs to have before all of this comes,down you got to milk it for all it's,worth right and then once that happens,tomorrow night all of this stuff is,gonna come down but it's gonna go in,storage because she's gonna continue to,do this carnival theme every single year,because it's been such a hit with all,the kids in the neighborhood and people,stopping by to see it so something,really really cool out here to get into,the Halloween spirit and like I said,she's gonna keep it up and you'll,probably see even more stuff out here,next year,Cory is absolutely incredible in a,little freaky we'll get a tour of the,house coming up a little bit,thanks Travis

are you ready for all things fall i am,so excited to share these 10 fall and,halloween themed party games with you,these are in person i am coming out with,some zoom game so stay tuned for that,video let me know are you planning to,gather in person with your friends and,family or will you be seeing them on,zoom hello friends i'm seanan howell,welcome to my channel,join me in my mission to bring more joy,to the world through fun and games,don't forget to subscribe give it a like,and share this video with a friend who,you know is planning a fall or halloween,party the first game utilizes the very,popular trend of puppets or popper,fidgets in the description box of this,video you will find a link to the,pumpkin poppers i am using to showcase,today's game,papa pumpkin is great for two or more,players every player will need their own,pumpkin puppet as well as one coin for,the whole group flip a coin heads equals,pop one bubble tells equals pop two,bubbles the first player to pop all of,their bubbles in their pumpkin wins the,game,what's behind the pumpkin,i found this cute letter pumpkin sign at,the dollar tree in my most recent haul i,will leave that video linked in the,description box down below because many,of my supplies in this video,came,from dollar tree or walmart but you,could also use a real pumpkin,take turns hiding objects behind the,pumpkin and all the players have to,guess what are you hiding behind your,pumpkin the player who guesses correctly,gets a point most points at the end of,the game wins this game is especially,fun for preschoolers,pumpkin picking who's going to the,pumpkin patch this year i've got a,little pumpkin in my background right,over here for all the pumpkin vibes this,game is great for developing fine motor,skills set a timer for one minute,players pick up as many orange pom poms,with only two toothpicks,and they put them in their own clear,plastic jar the player with the most,pom-poms in their jar at the end of one,minute wins the game,spider toss create a web with a hula,hoop and tape here i used electrical,tape hang your hula hoop up hoop up and,players toss plastic spiders to see if,they can catch them in the web this,would be an excellent fall carnival game,every player will need their own stack,of orange jack-o'-lantern cups you can,have players create their own faces or,to make everybody's the same,pre-draw on the jack-o-lantern faces,before you begin the game how fast can,you stack your cups,set a timer for one minute,using toothpicks take candy corn from,your plate and put it to on the plate to,your left which will be a different,player's plate at the end of one minute,whoever has the most candy corn on their,plate is eliminated from the game play,until one player remains if you have,small children like i was playing here,with my daughter she's four,i let her use tongs kitchen tongs,instead of toothpicks because toothpicks,definitely makes the game more,challenging,pumpkin balance how many candy pumpkins,can you balance on your ruler in one,minute the bendier the ruler the more,difficult the game,bat hat this will make an easy carnival,game place ball caps upside down on the,ground indoors or out you can have as,many ball caps as you want or as your,space allows players toss a bat and see,if they can get it into a ball cap you,could put different points for,hats that are further away from the,player,smaller points for the ones closer,candy corn point up stand as many candy,corns pointing up to the sky as you can,in one minute the player with the most,candy corns pointing up wins the game,apple picking have you been apple,picking this year do you have plans to,go to the mountains and pick apples this,game is great for fine motor skills and,you'll need a pair of tongs for every,child i recommend this game for,preschoolers set a timer for one minute,pick up as many candy apples with tongs,and place them in a wicker basket or a,bowl the player with the most apples in,their basket wins the game i'll see you,in my next video thanks for watching bye

scar to stick,at and this is super easy just going to,stick the zipper on like that,so we're going to let this dry for a,minute so now we're going to paint this,little red you know we're going to make,this effect special look how smooth this,glide on my skin y'all already know this,paint is from my makeup kit so check out,my bio if you're interested,let's go in with a darker red to create,shadows and dimension,i can't wait for creative day that's the,day we could do any look we want i'm,looking forward to that i wonder if i,should add eye blood,or just add texture okay so i
