31 WORK APPROPRIATE HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

hey y'all welcome to my channel this,week's video every Monday Wednesday and,Friday is gonna be a different list,video of like different Halloween,costumes so this video obviously is,going to be work appropriate at,Halloween costumes my work does a,Halloween costume contest and the winner,obviously wins a prize I'm very,competitive and I want to win this thing,I work with a bunch of like older people,so a lot of these are kind of silly,things that like older people would,understand each video I do I have 31,costume ideas because there's 31 days in,October and Halloween is on 31st he,likes looking out the window first one,is Where's Waldo and I think this one is,really easy because you can just wear,like black jeans or like regular jeans,whatever and just like a red and white,striped shirt and maybe some what are,they called suspenders if you want it,and maybe a beanie and I have a pair of,glasses that look just like well not,just like but I have a pair glasses that,look very similar to Where's Waldo and I,feel like a lot of people would,understand that one I googled a lot of,ideas on like Pinterest and stuff and I,saw people be like the pink energizer,bunny or whatever it's called and I feel,like that one's really easy I was also,looking for a lot of like easy,do-it-yourself kind of costumes so the,pink energizer bunny was one even though,I couldn't make this one scary I could,still be like a clown and maybe get like,a clown wig and just dresses like a,silly like circus clown kind of similar,to Where's Waldo I also thought of doing,the monopoly guy if you know the game,Monopoly I'll insert a picture but the,guy looks really easy to do just get,like a black hat and we're all black and,maybe like a white shirt and I just feel,like that one would be really easy and,get a cane the next one I have is either,a crazy dog or a crazy cat lady you know,me I'd have to do a crazy dog lady but,last year for Halloween my little cousin,she actually dressed up as like a crazy,cat lady and she wore like a bathrobe a,hot glued a bunch of little stuffed,animals on there I got her I decided to,take the flannel off but I'm just gonna,like not talk about every single one cuz,I feel like this video is gonna be,really long but the next one I have is a,bag of jelly beans I saw this on,dangerous and I love it you just get a,bunch of little tiny balloons and make a,plastic bag and make yourself a bag of,jellybeans I thought it was so cute and,everyone would love it sometimes I wear,my hair in braids and one day I came in,with like pigtails like braided pigtails,and someone call me Pippi Longstocking,so obviously older people would,definitely understand that one another,thing to do with hair is I thought of,being a troll this one would also be a,lot of work because I would hairspray my,hair kind of all up and like spray it,like a color pink and I'd just be a,troll just like the jelly beans I,thought of making myself into cotton,candy and I saw where people actually,like taped on like cotton to them and I,could do like pink makeup and stuff,however you do it it's super cute and,that would just be so much fun to like,make it would take a lot of effort but,cotton candy would be a really cute idea,any kind of rock star would be cool like,case you could be kiss or just any kind,of rock star really into your hair kind,of funky that would be so much fun you,could be really any kind of animal you,couldn't make it like sexy like people,do like sexy cats or sexy bunnies or,whatever like you'd have to be like a,basic animal but that could still go,over really well and it's pretty simple,I feel like any kind of superhero,everyone would understand what that was,and be really easy especially since my,boyfriend's really into sports he has a,ton of like athletic and jerseys I could,wear and just carry around a basketball,or a soccer ball or whatever I say,superhero and athlete ups any superhero,or any athlete a mine would be a really,fun one like you get like the white,gloves in the black and white outfit I,feel like that would go really good,everyone knows the minions you could,always be a minion that would be super,easy just wear a bunch of yellow and,maybe some overalls I think that's what,they wear my grandma actually wants me a,mini one year and I love that I'm so,here for it they're so cute and just fun,if you've seen them maybe grace you,could be a pink lady or like the guy,version like the greasers is that what,they're called rosie the riveter would,be really easy and everyone know what,that is a scarecrow everyone know about,it is and you'd be super easy and fun to,do I feel like you could be any kind of,princess like any Disney Princess I feel,like everyone know what it is do they,even make like adult size princess,costumes or is it just for like little,kid,MARY POPPINS would be another easy fun,wine unless you believe in the,superstition of like not opening an,umbrella indoors I feel like for Mary,Poppins you'd have to carry around an,umbrella or maybe you don't I just don't,know if you like I just don't know if,people would understand it if you didn't,carry the umbrella Dorothy from Wizard,of Oz or really any Wizard of Oz,characters I feel like you could do and,make it work appropriately like I think,I said in a previous video I think I,want to be a pumpkin this year just,because whenever people like,trick-or-treat on the actual day of,Halloween I want to match Jack she has a,pumpkin costume so you could be a,pumpkin and getting a little headband,with where they called like the stem and,maybe even do some like makeup if you,wanted like I feel like that's super,simple a lot of people on my work last,year they dressed up and they just wore,like t-shirts like to be that like some,people were The Incredibles and they,just were like an Incredibles t-shirt,like that's all I did and I'm like no,this is Halloween like you have to go,all out like that's just me that's just,me but here I am also me and my mom we,wore like cow onesies so I mean that was,like a step further I feel like from,t-shirts but it was still super basic,and we didn't really try that hard but,this year I'm trying I'm not doing,anything with my mom cuz I don't win,this thing on my own last year someone,at my work she was identity theft and,she wore a basic t-shirt and then just,had like a bunch of like hi my name is,blank stickers on her and she had a,bunch of different names and she wore,like a black beanie like people wearing,to rob things or whatever she had like a,bag with like a money sign on it and she,was identity theft I thought it was so,funny you could be a mad scientist I,feel like that'd be super easy just get,like the lab coat the white lab coat,maybe even like some goggles that you,have from like high school I know some,people still have them then do some,makeup and do your hair all crazy like,you got burned you can't make this sexy,like I know a lot of people want to do,but you can do like a cowboy cowgirl,that would be super simple and everyone,know what you are,a hippie it would be a really good idea,I remember middle school high school,everyone was into hippies,for Halloween I feel like it's super fun,I don't remember any of the Harry Potter,movies but I know everyone knows what,they are so you could dress up as Harry,Potter do his little scar or whatever,where he wear the glasses to match him,you just be Harry Potter and I feel like,everyone know what you are and it'd be,fun and easy you could be a typical,angel devil whatever this one is kind of,like the identity theft and I saw this,one on Pinterest and it's called a,social butterfly and basically you're a,butterfly of butterfly wings and like on,your shirt you have the different like,social media icons like snapchat,Instagram whatever I thought it was,really clever but that's one of the,things that like people would have to,ask you like what are you and as soon as,you tell them they'll be like oh just,like the girl with the identity-theft no,one knew what she was but as soon as she,said what she was everyone's like love,that and this is number 31 this is the,last one this is also my favorite one I,think it is so funny and it is corn on,the cob I love corn on the cob as you,can see in the picture she's just,wearing like a hoodie and she is like,corn kernels and I Easy Halloween costume ideas with Cricut DIY Quick costumes you can make in under an hour

Hi, everybody. ,I'm Corinne Blackstone, and welcome to my craft room.,Before we get started, be sure to check me out over on Instagram.,I post lots of fun crafts and tutorials over there as well.,So you don't want to miss out on those.,Now, today's video, there's actually going to be three parts to this video.,So this is part number one. ,And we're going to make super easy Halloween costumes using your cricut.,And what's great about these costumes is you can reuse the shirts,because you're going to be able to take the vinyl off. ,We're not going to use any TV. ,These are super easy, super inexpensive.,You can really make these costumes in just a few minutes.,And that way you're ready. If you forgot you needed one.,Your kid comes up to you and says, Mom, I'm supposed to dress up for this party.,You've got it. ,So let's get started. ,We're going to use a couple of different types of materials.,We're going to use some felt, some vinyl, and it's going to be really fun.,It's Eminem's one might be the easiest one to do.,It's so simple, and all you need is the letter M from the logo.,So all I'm going to do is head over to Google and I'll show you how to find it,over in Google. ,All I simply did was I searched Eminem's font and I couldn't find anything.,So or at least from the website that I trusted.,So all I'm going to do is use this Eminem's font image right here,,this picture, and I'm just going to save it from the save,image as and I'm just going to save it as a PNG.,I'll put it on my desktop. ,I'm just going to save it as Eminem and we'll head back over to design space.,So over in design space, simply click upload,,then click upload image and click Browse.,You'll go to find that image that you just saved.,I just use my click access and choose Eminem,and you'll see that it brings up the image. ,I'm going to choose Complex and click Continue.,Now I really only need one of these, so I'm just going to use the crop option,and I'm just going to crop it from this am all the way to just that and sign,because I don't need more than just this and then just click,apply and continue and you want to save it as a cut image.,Go ahead and click upload and select the image,and add it to your canvas. ,Then all you've to do from here ,is simply size it to how big you need it for your shirt.,So because we're doing an adult large, I tend to go about 9 to 9,and a half, maybe a little bit bigger because it's just a single letter.,Now, there are two options to do this. ,If you're going to use a TV, make sure you mirror it.,But you can also use adhesive vinyl so that you don't waste in a shirt,on a giant arm. ,I'm going to use adhesive vinyl for this one ,since we're using TV on another one of our options.,So let's go ahead and get this cut out. ,We're just going to cut this on the Starcraft HD, which is a permanent vinyl.,We're going to cut it in white ,since that's the color that it is on the candies.,And we're going to get it applied to the shirt. ,And you can have a super simple, ,quick and easy costume with a shirt that you can reuse.,We're going to cut out the white vinyl for our Eminem costume.,And honestly, I think of all the costumes, this one is probably the easiest,because you just need a big M and a colored T-shirt and you're done.,So it's super simple. ,And again, because we're using adhesive vinyl for this, you can save the shirt.,You don't need to keep the M on it. ,So you can just pull it off ,when you're done and wear the shirt again or use it for another craft.,It's going to go ahead and cut out ,our big and get it weighted and show you how to put it on your shirt.,I've got my. ,I know it's hard for you guys to see. ,Typically, this comes on a blue backing,,but this is an older role and it has the white backing.,But just, you know, Starcraft HD white is a blue backing.,So what I'm going to do is grab some transfer tape,and I'm sorry, I know that's super loud,and I'm going to smack my back down here.,And this is super simple.,Like this is a really easy costume, so you're going to be able to do this,super quick, just perfect if like you forgot that you needed to dress up,or you just want something that's going to take you with zero time,and effort, this is a great option.,So I have my shirt, so I've got my shirt here.,It's just a kind of green, heavy cotton, super easy to work with.,And then I have my m. ,So what I'm going to do is just like if I were to do any other kind of vinyl,decals is get my vinyl off of my backing.,Very,,very simple. ,Just peel that backing off. ,You can toss that away. We don't need it.,And then all we have to do is figure out where our M is going to sit on our shirt.,So for this, I typically go usually about 3 to 4,fingers down from the sleeves or from the collar.,And then I usually just try to kind of even it out in the middle here.,And then all I'm going to do is press it down and you can absolutely uses,squeegee. ,That was some bubbles that are in the transfer tape.,But I'm going to use my squeegee just to press this down,on to our fabric ,and just having get that press down.,Now, when you peel this, you're going to want to go slow.,I grab a corner and I just very slowly peel back my transfer tape.,Now you'll see that it does stick pretty well, but definitely take your time,because it doesn't really love to stick to fabric.,So like down here I have a little lift in the corner, so,I'm just going to hold my finger on it as I pull away from my fabric.,And then same with over here, I'm just going to kind of hold down,my vinyl as I go and you're just going to use your whole arm helps.,You can kind of use your whole arm just to hold down your vinyl.,And now we're just going to ,get this all the way off, all the way up to the top,,while like you are now ready,to dress as an Eminem for Halloween,and you're not going to waste this shirt because this will come right off.,Definitely the easiest costume in the bunch is the Eminem.,I simply just cut out the big AM and stuck it on the shirt.,So simple, so easy. ,And again, great for group costumes because everybody could be a different,color. ,Eminem and it's reusable because this is just adhesive vinyl.,I will say ,it's not super uncomfortable on the shirt, especially for wearing it as a costume,,but it will last the day and it'll be perfect to take off and reuse your shirt.,I think this is probably the easiest of the bunch and the quickest.,So if you're looking for something to make really fast, the Eminem is the way,to go.,We're going to make the ,crayon from scratch because it's super simple.,So I'm going to show you how to do this. ,So the first thing that I want to do is I'm going to go into images and I'm,going to just search for a squiggly line, which I've already searched for.,If you scroll down a little bit, you can use any squiggly line you want,,but I think this one is the closest we're going to really get to what we want.,But there are tons and tons of options.,So I would say choose whichever one you want to do, then add it to the canvas,and then I want to open up a another shape.,I'm going to use a rectangle. ,And what I want to do is I'm going to make the rectangle,as long as our squiggly line. ,So it's six inches. ,Now I am going to unlock it because I'm going to change the proportions,a little bit. ,So I just want to make it six inches wide,and that's going to make it as long as our squiggly line.,And then I think I want to make it a little bit taller.,Our squiggly line is about 0.82 and this is about two inches.,So what I'm going to do now ,is I want to right click and I'm going to send this to the back,just so I can see what the line is going to look like on our rectangle,,because we don't want it to be really, really big,,but we also don't want to be really, really small.,And I want to make sure ,that this little weird edge where it kind of cuts off isn't on there.,I think that looks like a pretty good size, but maybe we'll make it,a little bit thinner at the top and at the bottom.,I think that looks pretty good. ,So now what I want to do is I'm going to select both items,and I want to align them and I want to center them vertically.,That just gives us a really nice centered piece,so it doesn't look super awkward. ,And then all we need to do is click on the slice option.,Now this can take a second to work when you choose Slice.,So just give it a second,and it will eventually slice it out.,So now you'll see if you move this piece.,We don't need it. ,And then you take out the purple. ,We don't need that either. ,And then we don't need this gray.,We have the top part of our crayon.,Now we'll just need to select it and duplicate.,And then I want to flip it vertically so that it's the opposite direction.,And that's the bottom of our crayons. ,Super easy to do. ,Now, I'm going to spread this out a little bit ,just so we can get kind of a better idea of how big it's going to be.,And we're going to open up another shape. ,This is all just using shapes and lines.,I want to use an Oval Summit to open up the oval.,And this one is kind of at an odd angle.,So just to save myself some sanity, I'm going to rotate it 90 degrees.,I'm going to keep the proportions locked and I'm just going to make it bigger.,You want it to take up quite a bit of space in between your two lines.,It doesn't have to be huge, but you do want it to take up some space.,I think that looks like a pretty good size.,So I want to duplicate this circle or oval again.,And then I want to make this one a little smaller.,And I want to make it so that we're going to have an edge.,So what I'm going to do is kind of do this and figure this out.,Now, what I'm going to tell you right now is you'll see,that it's never going to be a perfect border.,By doing it this way. ,So there is another option. ,I'm going to go ahead and reduce the size of my oval just a little bit.,Then I'm going to use the offset option,,and I'm going to change my offset to be maybe let's try 2.1.,Maybe let's do one point. ,.15. Let's see if that that's a little bit better.,So now I'm going to click Apply. ,Now you'll see that the border around it is even on all sides.,We're going to slice again because we want just that border of our oval.,So I'm going to go ahead and click slice again, give it a second,and we can get rid of all of the inside oval pieces.,And now we have this fun oval.,Look, go ahead and just change it so it's the same color.,Now, I will say I think it's a little too circular for my taste.,So what I'm going to do is I'm going to unlock the proportions,and I just am going to kind of mess around with it.,Make it a little shorter, little longer, little thinner.,And I think that looks a little bit better. ,Now I'm going to select everything and I'm going to, again, align them.,And this time I'm going to align them centered horizontally,just so I can get a better idea of how it looks.,I think that looks pretty good. ,So what I want to do is you can put a color in here.,You could do somebody's name. ,But for this, we'll just use the word crayon just to make it easier.,So I'm just going to put the word crayon in there.,Now, I'm curious how you pronounce crayon.,So I'm from Ohio and we call it a crayon.,But I do see other people who pronounce it crayon,and other people call it a crown, which I'm not sure where they get the O.W.,from, but I'm curious as to how you pronounce it,,because I just find it interesting so many different ways.,So now I'm going to go into my fonts and I'm going to use some system fonts,for this. ,You can use whatever font you want, but it really doesn't matter.,It's really up to you if you want it to be exact.,Like the Qur'an font, like the Creole isn't.,You could probably find that, but I'm just going to use one,that's pretty easy to read. Just looks fun.,Nothing too crazy. ,This is one of my favorite ones is closer and I am going to rotate this and I'm,going to do another 90 degree rotate, but I think I want it to go the other way.,I kind of think I want it to read up and down. ,What do you think instead of like this?,What if we do it the other direction?,Kind of want it to go the other way. ,So let's go ahead and well, it's rotated again to 70.,Gives us what we want. ,So that's pretty cute. I think that works.,Now it's really up to you. ,You could add an offset to the word crayon if you wanted to.,But I really think I want to keep this pretty simple,because we're putting this on just a bright colored shirt.,So what I'm going to first do, because I'm going to have these two cut,together, is I'm going to attach those.,Then I want to size everything so that it's going to fit on our shirt.,Now I'm putting this on an adult large, so I do need to make it pretty big.,But you'll see here, like it's getting really long,and I don't necessarily want it to be super duper long.,So for that fact, we can kind of mess around with proportions and things.,We can make this a little bit smaller.,We can kind of just play with it and work on how we want this to be,,because I don't want it to be really long, but I do want it to be,a little bit taller.,So that's just something to keep in mind when you're making,this is just to figure out about how long you need it to be.,So for an adult large, usually I want to go about 9 to 9,and a half inches and I just wanted to cover as much of the shirt as possible.,Once we put this on the shirt, we can space this out a little bit more.,Kind of figure. ,Out how big we can make stuff, but it's just it's really kind of,you just play with it and figure out what size you want to do.,I think that looks pretty good. ,Now, we're going to cut all of this ,on black and we're going to put this, like I said, on a colored shirt.,So once we hit make it, you'll see that it's going to put this,in a couple of different places. ,It's not going to keep it all ,in that same proportion that we have it, because I don't want it to cut like that.,I want to be able to save some space and not have to worry about it.,Now, the way to design space set this up.,We could absolutely cut this on one single 12 by 12 sheet.,Do you see this guy? ,I can turn him by using this arrow.,He can turn him sideways. ,Use that arrow, put him over here right next to the Qur'an.,And then I have plenty of room over here. ,So what I'm going to do is go to my second map, click,on these three dots and choose Move Object.,I'm going to select the first design here, the first map confirm,,and now you'll notice that I'm going to be able to grab this one,and I can do the same thing. I can turn him sideways,and then I can just fit him right next to this guy.,Now, granted, that's not exactly straight, but it doesn't really matter.,But look, I can fit that entire costume on 112 by 12,sheet of TV, so it's a lot easier to do it that way.,You can move things around to make them fit. ,And these look like bacon right now, which kind of makes me laugh.,So we're going to cut these with Starcraft HD.,I can't wait to show you how cute this costume is going to come out.,It's going to be so adorable. ,We're ready to cut out the Qur'an parts which fit,all on 112 by 12 sheet because we move them around.,So I'm going to use a roll because I've got a big old roll of map.,And honestly, I think the map final looks really good when it comes,to using it on t shirts.,Now, I did cut this really bad the last time I cut this,,so I'm going to trim this little edge off just to make this straight again.,I did a really terrible trim job when I was cutting this.,So it's okay. ,No big deal. I'm just going to lose a little bit of vinyl.,Not much. ,And this is pretty inexpensive, ,so I'm not concerned too much about losing that little bit.,So now I'm going to take my role and I'm going to go ahead,and lay this on to my mat, but that as straight as I can,and I don't cut my role off, I'm going to leave it on.,I'm going to hold the roll down here at the end.,And that way I don't have to lose any vinyl.,So we're gonna go ahead and get the little crayon of design all cut out.,We're ready to do the Qur'an. ,I think this one is adorable and super simple,,so you can either reuse your transfer tape,that you just used on your M&M or you can absolutely get a new piece.,I'm going to go ahead and just reuse part of this just on the lines,,and then I'll see if I can fit the oval ,on some of the extra sections.,If not, no big deal. ,Not real worried about it, but I am going to start with just one of the lines.,Going to start with the top one. ,Who's going to peel that off? ,And then what I want to do is I'm going to go ahead and cut the lines,away from the oval just to make life a little bit easier for me.,And again, this is a super simple costume that you can throw together,like the night before if you need to, and you're good to go.,You're going to look really cute. ,It's going to be super easy ,and simple, and you can literally do this in just a few minutes.,All you'll need is a blank colored shirt.,It's going to cut the lines apart just so that I can apply them one at a time.,So let me get the first line up. ,So one line, I'll go up here. ,Now, obviously, I could have made this bigger. ,It's really up to you and how big you want them to be.,I kind of don't like them if they go all the way to the edge, especially,using adhesive vinyl, because I find that it crinkles and creases really bad.,So I just kind of prefer them in the center of the shirt.,It's just personal preference, but you could absolutely make them cover,the whole shirt. It's really up to you.,But when I use adhesive, ,I do find that it does tend to get a little bit of a wrinkle,and if it's in a certain folded spot, it may not hold up all day,because it's constantly being like bombarded with movement.,So I'm just going to kind of get this level ish,,just take a look, see if it looks centered.,This is not the easiest thing to get completely straight,,but it looks pretty good and there's no wrinkles.,So again, I'm going to bring out my squeegee,and I'm just going to kind of press it down to the shirt and then just simply do,like I did with the M&M and just peel back,the transfer tape.,So this one's real easy because it's a really solid shape.,Simple, simple, simple.,Now, what's cool is we can go back and grab,our crayon word here and we can reuse this chunk of transfer tape.,So put that over it and then we can use the piece that we kind of cut off.,And that should cover just about the whole thing.,You can absolutely piece together transfer tape if you need to or want to,just to save yourself a little time, money, materials, all of that.,I'm all about saving on materials and money when I can.,So this is a great way to do that, to reuse transfer tape as much as you can.,Now, all I'm going to do is get the Qur'an over off.,Now this did cut a little deep, so this may be a little harder,to get off of my backing because I do see that it cut just a smidge too deep,,which that happens sometimes, especially when I change out my blade.,So a lot of times what I'll do is I'll just go back and try a different side,and peel it and see if it'll come off a little bit better now, because this does,have some letters we might need to get some help from our pen. Pen?,Totally. Okay. Absolutely. Fine.,Just take your pen pen. ,And you can help kind of peel that backing away from your vinyl.,It should come off pretty easy, and then you can just keep going.,Now, it may do it to every letter, but because this is a pretty quick,word, there's not a ton of letters.,This should go pretty fast for you, but just kind of get your pen, pen,between that backing and the vinyl and then it'll come right off.,All right. ,Drop that off. ,No problem. Took a second, but it's fine. ,And then from here, you can kind of decide how you want to lay this down,,what direction you want the word to go. ,Really very much up to you. ,How close do you want it? To the lines?,Also up to you. ,There's not really a right or a wrong way to do this.,And then I just kind of use my hand to generally center it again.,It may not be perfect. ,It's Halloween, it's okay. ,And that's the other thing is if you don't get it ,perfect, nobody's really going to notice except for you.,So again, I'm just going to use this squeegee ,and then I'm going to go through and I'll pick up,the different pieces of transfer tape.,And again, you do want to go pretty slow,when you get to the latter part, but we'll see how well it sticks.,Sticks so good. ,And then this is just a random piece that was left behind and then always do,is put our last piece on, which is just the last strike.,So I'm just going to peel the backing away.,Now, again, this part cut a little deep, and I want you guys to see,see how the backing is sticking to my vinyl.,I wanted to give you a better look at that rather than the tiny look.,So what I'm going to do is I should be able to get my pin pen, if not my nail,,but my pin pen for sure, to kind of get this going and off of my vinyl.,And once you get it started, it comes right off the rest of it.,It's just that initial corner beginning part,where it gets stuck that you'll just need to worry about.,But once you get it started, it comes right off.,No problem. ,So, again, I'm going to lay this down.,And I'm just ,going to try my best to get it even.,It might not be. ,That's okay. I'm not really concerned.,It'll be fine if you already can bust out a ruler or level,or whatever you need to to make sure that your lines are straight and even.,But truly, once it's on the body, it's not going to be noticeable.,And then I'm just going to peel that off,,and then I'm just going to kind of smooth out,everything just to make sure everything's stuck on.,And you simply have a cramp costume.,So simple, so easy. ,The pink crayon was always one of my favorites.,Growing up, I always colored with pink, so I wanted to be the pink crayon.,Now what's fun is that this is a great group costume idea.,It would take very little time to make all the decals,and stick them on the different colored shirts, ,and you could even change the Qur'an word to somebody's name.,So be great for classroom, super fun and super easy.,And again, you're not wasting a shirt,making this costume because this all will peel off.,No problem. And you can reuse the shirt later.,This cow costume is so simple that literally anybody can do it,and it's all done with circles so it can be done completely free .,So I'm just show you how to do it. So, so simple. So,what I'm going to do ,is go into shapes and open up a circle.,Now I'm going to need several circles for this.,So the first one thing we're going to do is I'm just going to duplicate the circles,a bunch, just so I have quite a few to kind of mess with.,The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to start with my cow ears,and I'm gonna use circles for them ,and we're just going to fold them a little bit ,so that they kind of have a little bit of a shape.,So I like to make my cow ears pretty big.,I usually go about four inches ish.,So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take another circle,and it's going to go inside of this circle,,and that's going to be the pink of the cow here.,Now, you can make it as big or small as you want. ,It's really up to you. ,And I do like to change the color just so I can get a visual,of what my ear is going to look like. ,Now, I like to do one white ear and one black ear,,so I'm going to go ahead and select this and duplicate.,I'm going to change the background of this circle.,So the very back circle to black that way,,it just has kind of a little interesting look.,Now you'll understand how these turn into cow ears once you see it all assembled,,because we're going to do a little bit of like a fold to them,to create the ear shape.,So you can go ahead and just kind of stick these over to the side.,We're not messing with those anymore. ,The next thing we need to do is make our cows blotches.,So what I do is I like to take my circles and I just sort of make them bigger.,I make some smaller ones. ,I might unlock them and make them kind of long.,I make like little edges over here.,You can just sort of do whatever you want to do to make your cow splotches.,And I'll show you how this turns in it to a cow swatch.,So right now, it just looks like a bunch of shapes kind of shoved together.,Select all of your shapes and click weld.,It's going to take a second to weld ,and it all does is it just turns the circle into a blob.,Then I'm just going to change it to black. ,And you have a gas blotch, so simple, so easy.,And then you can size them however big you want them to be.,So it really kind of just depends on how big you want your splotches.,Now you're all you're going to do is just use circles to do this,so you can make as many splotches as you want to.,You can make them different shapes, different sizes.,It's up to you and how you want to do it.,So again, I just take my circle and duplicate it a whole bunch,and then I just sort of play around with it,and kind of see like, Oh, do I want a different sized splotch?,What do I want to do? ,Like this one, let's make kind of a long splotch,and maybe will add like a circle over here and then maybe we'll kind of add,like a longer splotch over here and we'll just do this.,So it's really just kind of about how you want it to look.,There's no right or wrong way to do these.,You just make them however you want. ,Then once they well, that this one kind of looks like an airplane.,Once I weld it, I can just turn black.,And now I have a cast blotch. ,Now, if I don't love the shape of it, I don't have to start from the beginning.,I can unlock it and I can kind of play with the shaping like that.,So now I have just a different style swatch ,so if you don't like the bottom part down here, easy,,take one of your circles and just kind of cover it up.,Select it.,And weld it. ,And now you'll kind of see that you have like a totally different shape.,So you can just play around with these however you want.,Whatever you want to do with them doesn't really matter,and just make your own cow splotch shapes.,I'm going to make the swan kind of have some little splotches.,This one will be a little bit more circular.,It's really up to you and how you want it to look.,Like I said, there's no wrong way to make a cow swatch.,I'm going to make these with adhesive vinyl,so that they can come off the shirt when we're done using them.,Now, again, I can make this bigger, smaller, whatever I want to do.,So I'm going to make a couple extra splotches just so I have them,,and then we're going to be able to go ahead, cut these out.,These will be cut on adhesive vinyl, and then this stuff is all going to be felt.,So because I'm going to cut this in felt, I'm going to just change,the color of this to purple, just so that I kind of,remember that I'm cutting that circle on felt.,We're ready to cut the felt for our cow costume.,So I'm going to show you a really quick way to prevent your matte,from getting super dirty with all the felt stickies.,So what I'm going to do is I'm going to put this over,some transfer tape and I'm going to cut out my transfer tape.,So it's about the size of the film. ,It doesn't have to be exact, but you do want to be a little bit bigger,than your piece of film.,Now, I would just recommend using a medium tack transfer tape.,Any transfer tape really will do, but the medium tack works perfectly,fine for this. ,Now choose which side of the film you want to cut on. ,Now, I've got a lot of junk on the side, ,so I'm going to go ahead and put my transfer tape on the side of my felt.,So all I'm going to do ,is peel up my backing off of my transfer tape,and you don't have to peel all of it off at once.,You can just kind of start with a section and then I'm going to take my belt,and I'm just going to lay it on to my transfer tape.,Now you can later transfer tape on to your mat and then put your felt on it.,But I find that this way for me just works a little bit better.,I have a little more control over where the film sits,,so I just prefer to do it this way.,But really, you can do it any way that you want.,Now what you're going to do is take your mat,and you want to put your felt down on your mat.,Now you're probably going to want to trim some of your transfer tape off.,And don't worry, that's okay. ,I'll just use an X-Acto knife ,just so that it doesn't get stuck to the machine, because it will.,And you want to make sure ,that when you're running your breath air that you don't pull it up like I just did.,So let me go ahead and cut that off, because that's the other thing is,I would like to break this down, ,but sometimes the transfer tape can get in the way.,So I like to cut it off just up here at the top,,just along this line, so that it doesn't get stuck on the machine.,And then I also like to cut it over on the side.,This side doesn't matter to me, but definitely down here on this side,I want to cut just because the machine,can kind of get stuck on it.,So I just like to really make sure to trim all of the this off,again, it really up to you and how you want to do it.,But that's just the way that I find works best for me.,Let me go ahead and peel this one off.,All right. ,Like I said, I'm not too concerned about the stuff on the side,,but I do want to use my rare and just bring this all down.,I don't want to touch the sticky part and then we can load it into our machine.,And then I'm going to show you ,how to change the tool really quick, ,because we're going to be using a different tool for this as well.,Now, we need to change out this tool here, which is your find point blade housing.,You're going to change that out for the rotary blade.,Now keep in mind, you can do this with the explore or the joy.,You can cut felt with both of those. ,But I prefer to use my maker with my rotary tool.,It just works a lot better in my opinion.,I just prefer it over the other options.,Now this is ,just going to cut a simple circle, so it's nothing too crazy.,I'm going to let it cut off the black circle. ,Then it's going to do the pink circles and then the white circle,,and we can create our cow ears. ,I'm going to do this on a 12 by 20 format,because that's just going to save me a little bit of material.,I don't typically love using the 12 by 20 format,,but this will save me some material because otherwise it was going to do,this on two separate 12 by 12 sheets.,So that seemed a little bit annoying.,So what I'm doing is I'm just going to line up my vinyl on my mat,and then I'm going to roll it down my mat.,And a lot of times, because this is pretty long, it can be kind of precarious.,So you have to find a way that works best for you. ,I've just realized this mat is not super sticky.,I'm going to get this door out of my way. ,And I think that's part of my issue. ,So we might need to switch mats, but we're going to try,and just see because the bottom is way stickier than the top.,So I'm just going to see if it'll work.,It seems like it will. ,It seems like it'll be fine. ,I'm going to cut from this end anyways, just to be safe.,I'm going to go ahead and trim off my vinyl. ,Normally I wouldn't, ,but because I have to cut from this and I'm going to go ahead and do that,,typically I would just leave it on the roll,,but I've got plenty of black vinyl, so it's okay.,Not the end of the world if I end up wasting a little bit.,I totally didn't cut that even close to straight, but it won't matter.,It's fine. It's not going to cut that spot.,And I do need to make sure I replace my blade.,So I need to put my fine point blade back in.,Go ahead and load this. ,Now, I do need to move a plug ,that's behind my machine because it is going to walk into that.,So if you guys shake a little bit, it's because I moved your plug.,I'm going to go ahead and let this cut out our spots,and then I'll show you how to put them on your shirt.,For our shirt. ,I'm actually using a cricut brand sublimation shirt, so it's 100% polyester.,Not typically my choice. ,Don't love the way this bit, but it was the only white shirt I had available.,So we're going with it. ,So I'm gonna go ahead and cut out my little spots.,Now with these again, you could use transfer tape if you so desire.,You do not have to. ,That's the nice thing about doing this kind of a costume.,You really don't need to use the transfer tape.,So I'm going to go ahead and peel this off ,and you can cut as many spots as you want. ,I cut three just to get some spots out,,but you could absolutely cut way more if you want to.,It's very much up to you and the way you want your costume to be.,You cut smaller spots. ,You could cut bigger spots. ,Doesn't matter. ,Totally your call. ,So I'm just going to put the three spots that I need on to my shirt here,and then I'll show you how we're going to do the ears on the headband,and you going to have this really super cute, super simple cow costume.,Now, again, you can kind of put the spots wherever you want them.,It's really up to you. ,But again, I hate the way these shirts fit, so I'm trying to kind of figure out,where to put it without it, like fitting in a strange spot.,But I think that works. ,So again, I probably would cut a few more spots, ,but I think for what we're doing, this is fine. ,I have our little cow ears here. ,We're just going to use hot glue on these. ,And I absolutely love my ryobi cordless glue gun.,This thing is fantastic, works great, is an excellent choice.,So what I'm going to do ,is I need to glue the paint to the white and the pink to the black.,This is super simple. ,I will recommend putting a line of glue around the outside of your ear felt,and not just in the inside of it, but,you can put a little dab on the inside just to hold it down a little bit better.,And then I flip mine over and I just grab it by the very edge of my fingers.,And then I want to try to make sure to get this pretty well centered in to my felt.,It doesn't have to be perfect, ,but you do want to try to get a relatively close area to the center,,do the same on the black, and while the whites drying,will do the black, ,because you do want to let these dry a little bit before we do the next step,,because if you don't, it can cause them to maybe fall apart a little bit.,So again, we'll just try to get this centered as we can.,So now the that one is going to cool off.,We're going to work with our white one and we have a head band.,So what we'll do ,is I'm going to take my white ear and I'm just going to do a quick fold.,So all I'm doing is just folding it like a little taco almost,just at the very bottom, and that's just going to give it a little of shape.,So all I want to do is I'm going to put a little bit of glue right here.,Just on one side is fine. ,And then all you want to do is just pinch it together.,Now the glue is warm and you will feel it through the felt,,but it's not hot, so your fingers are not going to burn.,But once it's pretty well stuck together, you can let go of it,and just give it its own moment to kind of cool off.,If you see it starting to ,separate it all, just re pinch and now it's completely cool.,So it should hold its shape by itself just fine.,Now you're welcome to add a little extra glue.,If you want your ear to be a little smaller, you can do that.,It's really up to you and you'll do the same thing on your black ear.,So again, I do a little taco fold just to make sure that I have it where I want it.,And then I just place a little bit of glue,right on that fold area ,and again, just create that little taco fold.,Now, the pink ,being a little bit thicker does fold really, really nicely into the ear.,And again, I'm just going to hold this and pinch it.,All right. ,Once those little ears are gone, ,I like to just compare, make sure they look relatively even.,They look pretty good. ,And we're going to put them on to our headband.,Now, cow ears sit a little bit more sideways,than they do sit like straight up.,So this is not correct. ,Placement for a cow ears would be more like a mouse.,So for a cow ear, I place them a little more sideways.,And what I do is I like to put my headband kind of straight on to me.,So you'll see that my headband is pretty straight to where I'm standing.,And then from here I just sort of hold my ears,and just get a look at where I think they should go.,You want to keep them relatively even.,It's not always super simple, but what I do is I then pick my headband,up with an ear just so that I know exactly where that ear was sitting .,I put a little bit of glue on my ear and then I just push my ear on to my headband.,Now, from here, I'm just going to hold this down,just to give it time to adhere to the headband.,That way ,it gets enough time, and you'll notice that I only put,a little bit of glue right where my pinch is.,I'm not going ,any of this part of my ear down because I want my ear to still stick out.,That's pretty. ,Right. So I think we're good. ,So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to use ,that placement of that year to help me place my black ear.,So I'm just going to hold it down, kind of figure out where it goes.,I think that looks good. ,So I'm pinching my ear. ,I'm going to take a little bit of glue. ,And this one I won't have to do like left handed, which is not always super simple.,And I'm going to go like this. ,The little glue here, put this guy back,again, left handed, not always easy. ,And then I'm just going to hold down my black ear.,And again, you can kind of move them a little bit if you need to shove them,forward a little and just sort of judge him as need be.,And we're just going to hold this down for just a little bit.,And I think those are good to go. ,So now our cow costume is finished.,Archilochus You gave out super fun.,Like I said, I absolutely hate the way this T-shirt feels.,Hey, do it fits. I hate everything about it. ,So I would recommend getting a T-shirt that you actually like.,But since this is all I had on hand, this is what we're working with.,But I do think it does a really great job.,It looks super cute. ,The cow prints. ,I would definitely make a few more, ,but you get the idea and look at how fun little headband came out.,The little ears are adorable and so simple to do, and likely it's already stuff,that you have in your crafter, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.,I think the spots are really fun and like I said, you can take these off,when you're done using the shirt as a costume,and you can reuse it elsewhere.,So be sure to not waste your shirts when making Halloween costumes.,Now, I wanted to show you before we end this video that we can reuse these shirt.,So I'm going to take my cow costume and all you're going to need to do,is feel your vinyl off of your shirt.,Now, it may rip a little bit, but that's totally fine.,But you'll see it comes off absolutely no problem.,It leaves no residue. ,You can just simply wash your shirt after you peel this off and you're good to go.,You have a shirt that is ready to be used again.,So that's what I love about these costumes is you're not wasting material.,You can see the shirt is back to 100% normal, just a plain white shirt.,That's why I love these types of costumes. ,You're not wasting materials. Easy Low Key Halloween Costumes to Wear to Work or School

inexpensive low-key Halloween costumes,you can wear to work or school,more like if you're shy or something,hey everybody it is quicken and I am,jumping off with this year's Halloween,content just something about sink water,that is really good anyway this year I,wanted to bring you some Halloween,content,I love making Halloween videos I,celebrate Halloween in my private life,and it is something I have gotten into,the spirit of every single year I know,it's cliche coz all year all of us love,Halloween but I want to tell you that,this is a very niche pocket although we,all love Halloween I've spent the last,week asking people you know are you,getting ready for Halloween are you,decorating your house you have your,costume ready and a lot of people said,no so just you and me guys who knew that,this was actually a niche pocket this,video I want to talk to you about,Halloween costumes and I wanted to,create a video all about Halloween,costumes that you can wear to work so,all of us have pretty unique jobs I just,wanted to create these costumes that are,easy to wear to work because they kind,of look like clothes so in these,costumes you kind of have to use maybe,your imagination but they're also really,budget friendly comfortable and they,have the ability to be re worn because,they are just clothes so when I say kind,of like hot costumes you can wear to,work,I imagine somebody who is like a barista,without like uniform you know something,more casual like a server or for me like,in a service industry job where you,don't have a uniform so I've actually,worn all these costumes to work to test,them out for their mobility and how they,stand up and because I made this video,be all the videos I make are real these,are not costumes that I have no,intention on wearing I'm actually,wearing one of my costumes that I wore,to work this week as a youtuber or,somebody like and somebody who,celebrates Halloween I end up with a ton,of costumes,so I actually have worn this version of,the stranger things wall in this,long-sleeve version available in the,long sleeve if you want to see a,tutorial on how I made this costume not,only is this a costume,additionally bonus costume that you can,wear to work but it is something that I,have made on this channel so I can show,you the tutorial making this costume was,a ton of fun and I still think it is,timeless and cheaper then the duplicate,costumes they are trying to sell at,Party City I see a party City I was the,first one I invented stranger thing,other than the actual TV show so I have,this style just with like a little skirt,and then I have it like tucked kind of,loose just to like show my own personal,style because I feel like the wall isn't,a person so you might as well just like,be yourself in it in my original video I,did have a more chunky version of the,lights this is a lot more subtle these,are like little Christmas lights I,actually got from a Christmas party that,I decided to keep because I think that,they're really cute and special and I,knew that I would wear them for this,costume so this is definitely a dialed,down version but in my opinion a little,more work appropriate because you're not,bringing a ton of attention to yourself,and that's what makes these costumes,work but the right people know that it's,a costume and they might be like nice,so moving on the first costume that I,wore in like my series of costumes that,I wore to work was a witch's costume so,the best thing about this witch's,costume is I just use clothes I already,had that I have felt were like witchy,and they're not necessarily like,strikingly goth clothing but kind of,like a like a campy or like a working,winch like I think Kiki's one of our,favorite witches and I was also really,inspired by like inktober a lot of,people were doing like these comely,witches which I thought were really,so that's what I was inspired by one of,the best aspects of this costume is one,if you start feeling nervous at work or,your boss tells you that you can't wear,a hat you can always take the hat off,and you're really just wearing kind of,like a cargo girl style clothes the,other thing that was great about this,costume is I found this hat at the,dollar store hi yes I come here often so,what made this costume work for me is,you can see that this costume is like,the Hat sort of does that which like,isn't really like a cute hat like a cute,which I feel like it's the difference,between like a witch and a wizard you,know what I mean I actually just poked,holes through the back part of this hat,put them in with bobby pins almost like,your graduation cap sort of thing almost,and I cross the bobby pins in the back a,cross bobby pin is always gonna be,stronger than a single one so that's how,I made this hat work at work and I,promise you I wore it all day but,between this hat and these like booties,I really think that the whole witch look,came together really really well and,wearing it was fun and definitely like a,part of the fantasy and having just like,this pointy hat all day just like really,made sense I felt really good about,myself so the next costume is left a,little bit to interpretation if you,watched stranger things or your friends,watch stranger things or you work,somewhere that maybe like like a coffee,shop or something where somebody might,walk in and like recognize your costume,in the fandom then this costume is,really grateful to you so I was kind of,inspired by 11 in season 2 but almost,like 11 in season 3 which doesn't exist,yet and hear me out so the first part of,this costume is the Hawkins,middle school like AV Club shirt and,there are a lot of shirts kind of like,this going around like I know hot topic,has like a Hawkins middle school shirt,with like the tiger on it and I wanted,to get a shirt that I could also,continue to wear so it wasn't disposable,like some Halloween costumes tend to be,if you didn't know I keep all of my,Halloween costumes around except for my,eleven and my Dustin costume which I,actually donated but other than that,very specific thing I do like to keep my,costumes around so I wanted to get like,a soft shirt but also this shirt plays,well with like just like a vintage indie,kids outfit anyway so the idea behind,this costume is like Elevens gym uniform,so the idea in of this is either like,you are a Hopkins student or you can be,11 and I'll tell you how I made mine,specifically 11 so the entire costume,would be this shirt and then I have some,vintage like gym shorts that I got from,like a vintage thrift store and it,doesn't matter you could get Sophie,shorts but I wear these regardless so,you can see that the the height of them,is a little unique and then obviously I,have 11 iconic socks which I got an,American Apparel but now since stranger,things is so branded you can get them at,Target and like that stranger thing,section or you can get them on Amazon,Amazon is where I got this t-shirt and I,will link that below so the idea is that,you are either a student from this,middle school or you are 11 and I'll,tell you how I turned it into 11 so I,did get the 11 tattoo and this is just,an ink box tattoo and if they take 24,hours to develop so this is still,developing so I just feel like it's a,pretty subtle like nod to stranger,things but because and here's all the,plot holes because each character that,has these special powers has their own,number,you you couldn't be like a different you,couldn't be like twelve or thirteen or,nine which i think would be really cool,but you can just give yourself whatever,caffeine you wanted but the idea is that,you are like a student at Hawkins or you,are eleven maybe in the third season,where she's maybe introduced middle,school and has hair and just wants to,fit in and go to gym class but also like,has this tattoo as like a ten year old,or something,and you can bring it all together a,leather jacket flannel teeth those,eighty buck,80s vibes going and from Footwear I just,used some high-top vans because I feel,like their iconic but I also use them in,my Dustin costume so it kind of brings,continuity to the character universe,that I've created,so my next costume is a costume that,I've always wanted so it was kind of,like a fantasy that I wanted to like,indulge in but also a really easy,costume to wear to work and then,something I could turn into pajamas,which is all I've ever wanted pajamas,and that is a skeleton bodysuit so I got,my style 10 bodysuit from Hot Topic,but after checking it out there are more,affordable versions of this bodysuit on,Amazon and you might get them faster if,you can't go to a hot topic in real life,and what I really liked about this,bodysuit is one I've always wanted one,every year I'm like damn I want that but,obviously I can only wear it for,Halloween like I can't just like roll to,the spot in this although like in my,mind it's almost like gothic long-johns,the way I pulled this costume together,it was one I really just wanted this,body suit and I had to justify it,because I know that I'm being something,completely different than all this for,Halloween so I got this body suit to,wear to work but I were to work in just,like the way I usually dress so when I,put this body suit on the weird thing,about it is you feel kind of naked,and it is because it's like form-fitting,but also there's just something about,this that made me feel like it was all,out there so the way I neutralized this,and if you have a like I think my old,boss my old old boss when I worked at a,coffee shop I think she would feel weird,about this costume if I didn't like pull,it all together the way I did so the way,I wore this to work I put on a pleated,skirt over top and then wore a longer,sweater on top of it that was like a,nice pumpkin kind of color it's for fall,and this costume was kind of the biggest,hit at work as well Kalin definitely,thought it was inappropriate that I was,dressed like a witch but when I was,dressed like a indie girl skeleton she,was like all right so you could probably,choose to wear this with just like a,long sweater,I recommend dressing up this like,full-length skeleton costume in your own,clothes to make it your own but it has,that twist that you're like a spooky, but like still at work and it's,chill I think one of the nuances of this,costume is making it seem like Halloween,and not I always dress like this if,you're not worried about like creating,that like difference then go for it but,towards the end of the day I'm wearing,this for Halloween Halloween costume if,you're not worried about that,if you wear your skeleton play suit all,year go ahead girl you're spooky and, so that that is all of my so a couple of years ago I uploaded my,halloween costume to youtube where I use,two iPads to blow a hole through my,stomach so the internet seemed to like,it and that was a cool feeling so I,decided that every year I'd try and come,up with just awesome innovative costumes,because I felt like most of the options,out there kind of looked like this ah so,this year we've got 24 new costume ideas,that we've been working on all year that,we are really excited to show you guys,so first of all we perfected the digital,Halloween shirt that I invented last,year,so you still download the free app,called digital duds then you blow Kate,and play your animation but now after 40,prototypes we've engineered a design,that can hold any sized mobile device,including an iPhone 6 plus so you just,slide it right in front and then it will,hold it secure in place and then when,you want to take it out it takes less,than two seconds and you're wearing a,normal t-shirt so that means you show up,the party and blow people's minds it,just jeans and a t-shirt but on a,moment's notice you are gonna be able to,nail that selfie so we've got some new,really cool Halloween designs or you,could go this route Plus this year we,got permission from Marvel to make some,shirts like them,but we took it a step beyond t-shirts,this year and created some really,awesome and not at all creepy masks like,this so again you just locate and then,play the animation and then slide your,mobile device right in and then you are,instantly the most epic undead guy at,the party so we also created this,pulsing brains on me,a clown with an oral hygiene problem a,cyclops with an attitude and one of my,personal favorites the cyborg and for,anyone with the fear of drowning we have,this option but I also teamed up with,the guys for more costumes again and we,made what we're calling no real morph,suits which is basically like putting on,someone else's skin in less than 15,seconds my buddy Trey tried this one on,at which point he was basically,streaking fully clothed,and finally we teamed up with YouTube,prank video genius magic of her ha to,create a series of four prank illusion,costumes like the severed hand I showed,earlier and while we think this is,pretty awesome we're all about testing,and collecting data so we're hop took,this out into public to see what other,people thought so another costume that,we created with excuse me is what we,call,so here's some footage we made this,costume where you can basically walk up,to the party in two pieces and finding,we have this jacket which doesn't really,look that special and until you sneeze,so this year keep it simple show up for,the party in jeans in the t-shirt or do,any one of these awesome costume ideas,which means you won't have to show up as,last-minute generic costume guy so to,get any of these costumes plus a couple,more I didn't show you you can click,here at more suits calm or just use the,link in the description as always I hope,you guys have an amazing and a safe,Halloween now go down the native party,Oh unite give me kisses

easy halloween costumes using ONLY my closet

Honestly I feel like I'm coming out of retirement for this because if you didn't ,know this whole YouTube channel was started on the premise of Halloween costumes like Becky ,and I met in college became friends want to do a Halloween costume together as best friends and ,we couldn't find any inspo on the internet that we really liked so we made this video ,hi and it just kept going from there every year we would do lots of Halloween costumes until we ,kind of slowly did it because it kind of seemed like people were a little less interested in ,Halloween maybe especially with the pandemic years but I'm so excited about this idea because it is ,taking things that I already have in my closet you already have in your closet other people already ,have in their closet and turning those into some pretty cool hopefully Halloween costumes ,we're gonna put them together today together together we're gonna put them together today ,these are the perfect lazy and sustainable Halloween girl hacks and I'll let you know at the ,end of the video what I'm gonna be for Halloween you might regret it honestly maybe one of those ,costumes you look back on in like five years and be like why did I do that why did I do that ,so first up we have the classic white dress shirt for this one I think the first thing that ,comes to all of our minds is Risky Business Tom Cruise sliding in also have I ever seen Whiskey ,Business I feel like I have because I have seen the scene but like I don't remember any of the ,rest of the movie but I'm sure you have all the things you need for this costume you have ,your white dress shirt I would wear some shorts underneath with some socks and he looks like he ,has a Candlestick his microphone is a Candlestick so we're gonna add in a Candlestick too foreign,Along the movie lines we have Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction this would be a good ,couple's costume as well but this is super easy you just need to add some black pants ,she does wear bare feet for some of it but I think she also wears black flats which I ,don't know if I have I'll find something this works great if you already have black hair ,if not maybe you have a wig I definitely have a whole chunk of wigs throw in some ,red lipstick a faux or real don't smoke cigarette will help also sell this first,pandemic costumes make me a little sad but this one is a really easy one you just need to throw ,on your white dress shirt some kind of Blazer or just something to dress you up on top did you ,just wear sweatpants on the bottom and you are a classic work from home Zoom call ready look ,I love it when people do a Britney Spears costume from any of her iconic outfits every time I see ,somebody dressed up as Brady it just it warms my heart I feel like obviously this year is even a ,bigger year for Brittany let's go with the class of Britney Spears with the white dress shirt we ,can do a hit me Baby outfit her skirt was actually I think just like a black skirt which I do have ,a black skirt but I think that my school girl skirt sells it a little bit better so I'm gonna ,use that one she's also wearing some knee-highs of course we gotta complete it with the pigtails DIY ,something to represent the little pink pom-poms and pull on some kind of Cardigan thank you,but let me know which Brittany would you want to be if you could be Brittany ,like snake Brittany Red Jumpsuit Britney's good Brittany but also like a girl group of Britney's ,so iconic it's a good group costume and last up for a white dress shirt option is Mary Poppins ,this one's so cute you just need some red to represent a bow tie a black bag black skirt ,black tights black shoes an umbrella wow what a great costume if it's supposed to be raining ,gloves black hat really sells it if you have something that works and it's just it's cute and ,wholesome also a good couples or group costume I just stole this hat from Becky it was just at the ,office and she's wearing way shorter gloves but I have long ones from my dance days so ,okay while we're going through all these ideas I think it is important we talk about a few tips ,when it comes to Halloween costumes first of all everything in this video all these costumes I'm ,putting together are either pieces that I already owned that I'm borrowing from my friends or family ,that I'm diying or that I'm thrifting so I'm not gonna buy anything new for this video or to create ,these costumes because I think Halloween can be very wasteful so we want to do it in as much of ,a sustainable way as possible without having to buy a bunch of new things that we are not gonna ,wear ever again thinking about your Halloween costume early is going to give you the best ,chance to make it the most sustainable the least stressful and also renting things I rented these ,boots last year when I was a disco ball and then my boyfriend went as like somebody from the 70s ,his shoes were also rented so we didn't have to buy anything we were just able to rent them make ,sure you're leaning into your face makeup I feel like you can take a simple outfit and just really ,amp It Up by what you're putting on your face or able to do with some makeup so don't sleep on the ,face makeup even if you don't usually do it like I don't like doing makeup and I don't think I'm ,good at it but this is the one time of the year we should try a little bit and of course if you need ,more info you can check out all the old videos we have last minute costumes we have full in-depth ,costumes we have old couples costumes probably shouldn't shout that out but I did yeah lots of ,Halloween costume content here on the sorry girls that is there for you guys to check out it'll all ,be linked below next up the handkerchief or scarf silk scarf something like that that you have in ,your closet there are some fun ideas I came up with that you can make using this scarf I guess ,not using just the scarf but like the scarf is our inspiration so first up we have a flight ,attendant so for this one I'm using a suit that I have that I thrifted obviously just like a skirt ,and any kind of Blazer situation button up would look great we're using our scarf around our neck ,in this moment and you can add on some pantyhose a little heel something to complete your flight ,attendant look if you have any like pin like any pin that would kind of like work I would add that ,bonus points if you are going to a party and you carry around some drinks that'll be ten dollars ,oh and you definitely gotta slick your hair back for this one they're always doing a ponytail or a ,bun or something Rosie the Riveter is another classic Timeless look and so easy to do she's ,wearing a lot of denim on denim I feel like also a jumpsuit would work it's really holding your ,arm in that position is really going to sell it as well as our scarf on the top of our head tied up ,I love the idea of a prior it just feels so like comfy cozy cool chill could be sexy if you wanted ,to be sexy which I know is important to a lot of people on Halloween for this one I'm pulling ,a lot of things out of my closet like you can do anything that has like puffy sleeves billowy ,sleeves big sleeves corsets are obviously the vibe I feel like big baggy skirts or I have big ,baby pants is part of the vibe maybe a little bit of like a little work boot they seem to wear boots ,on ships which I mean I would probably wear sandals but that's ,um that's us adding any jewelry I feel like Pirates have a lot of jewelry to wear and ,then of course we're wearing our scarf over our head this time tying it around the back ,a classic look if you have belts you can add the belts I don't really have that mangoes,another way we can wear our handkerchief is in a cow girl cow person outfit lots of denim I ,have cow print pants maybe we could do flannel if you have a cowboy hat you're going to really help ,to sell it cowboy boots any kind of boots and we're wearing our scarf around our neck again ,cowgirl Kelsey uh so if you didn't know we stream weekly on Twitch that's what ,you're seeing happening right here and make sure you guys stay to the ,end of the video because I have a maybe some of them find some things in your closet ,that work and again we're gonna wear this on our head to kind of bring out that 70s moment ,I feel like long straight hair is also a Vibe for this ,if you if you have it if you it's weird how much we actually just have in our closet,I just can't not sweat it's just way hot next up the little black dress this one has a lot of ,good classic outfits tied to it of course we have Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's I think ,you don't even need all the accessories to sell this but a little kitchen heel your hair in a bun ,pearls these Pearl Earring here literally from Tiffany's powon brand they're from an X but it ,doesn't matter right jewelry is forever sunglasses maybe a croissant I had to go get croissants today ,I just had to all these things are gonna help sell the outfit but even if you're missing a ,few of these places I think you're still gonna nail it pearls are good to have them,it's so good,okay I honestly thought a witch was too basic to include but I saw this picture of Kendall Jenner ,and I just thought she looked just very elegant and I was like wait maybe witches aren't overrated ,I'm adding this like sheer bodysuit that I have with my dress to change up the look a little bit ,and then I think if you have a good hat or DIY a Good Hat borrow a hat then we can really sell this ,look when I tell you I'm taking a hat and soda cone or gluta cone and I will make it a witch hat,and tell me why this looks better than any witch's hat I've ever owned what a little bit ,of makeup you can have fun with it at a belt you could be like a witch but make it everyday outfit ,there's lots of options with which and I think we can redeem it it doesn't have to be basic and ,boring anymore it can be just kind of like cool and effortless thanks for the info Kylie Kendall ,thanks for the inspo Kendall do you guys know the movie Mr Mrs Smith Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt this ,would obviously be an amazing couple's costume but with that little black dress you really just need ,like the Garter thing which I'm gonna try to use a headband for obviously I would not bring around ,any type of real looking weapon on Halloween but you can have fun with it maybe it's a piece ,of cardboard like mine um good enough and it's such an easy outfit and you get your vampiness,foreign,has never gone out of style when it comes to Halloween but we do have a new Wednesday in town ,with the new Netflix show her dress is a little bit different for mine so I'm trying to like make ,some alterations in order to make my dress look like her dress so maybe adding a black sweater ,a caller to really help sell my Wednesday look obviously the braids are also going to help sell ,it but I think this is such an easy classic costume and it's even more relevant this year ,foreign,we have done Medusa a long time ago on our channel so we actually have a full tutorial ,on how to do a headband but obviously there's so many different ways you can make or buy or ,rent a Medusa headband does Medusa have eight snakes does it always ate snakes 13 snakes,do I have to do 13.,and I think you can just pair it with any black clothing you have I'm trying to go for something ,that has flowy arms because I feel like that's a little bit more classic Medusa and maybe I'm ,just making it up but I picture the flowy arms so layer on some black make it cute make it glamorous ,and it's such an easy last minute costume I love it next up we have our leopard item and this can ,be like anything that's leopard print these costumes should work if you have like almost ,anything as long as it's like shirt and or pant related that is leopard and if you have even ,more things outside of that you're just gonna really nail these costumes wait why do I have ,so much leopard like actually what so first up we have Scary Spice we're wearing our leopard ,print we're layering it up I'm adding my chunky boots I have a karaoke microphone that I'm adding ,and of course we need to do like the scary buns those are so so classic sometimes she wears like ,cute little sunglasses too very 90s and that's our scary space look obviously I don't just say ,this but great group costume this would be like a life goal for me to be a Spice Girls group costume,speaking of pop stars Shania Twain another iconic leopard print wearing woman uh for ,this one I'm adding some black flare pants that I have and keeping that microphone adding ,some red lipstick and I do have a cowboy hat so why not throw that into the mix,Flintstones or I guess it could be like cave woman cave person but I kind of ,like the idea of Flintstones a little bit better is another one you can wear ,with leopard print so I think what's the kid's name it's like Penny Flint's penny ,penny Pebbles oh my God okay yeah Pebbles is adorable this is such an easy costume we really ,just need like a bone type of element for the hair accessory and then I think it's pretty easy ,again couples group costume you're good to go but also easy last minute if you want to go solo yep,this one might be too obvious but you could just be like a leopard or a cat ,just DIY make some ears and use some face paint and you're a cute little leopard,I was also thinking snow leopard would be a great costume obviously a lot of us probably don't have ,like white leopard print but I thought it'd be a good costume and then I thought I was spiraling ,and I thought that doing like animals would be a sick group costume so it's like you have a leopard ,you have a panther you have a snow leopard you have a lion those are all are they all cats I ,guess they are I mean I don't know it's pretty cool I like it okay and lastly I was trying to ,think of something to round out my leopard section in my Halloween research I came across this photo ,of Katy Perry dressed up as a Cheeto which I thought was so amazing so I think you could be ,on the leopard note take your leopard costume and then just add some sunglasses and maybe ,some more orange accents and carry around some Cheetos and you're like the Cheetos leopard dude,okay I bought these new,do we like it I kind of like it it's kind of good it's a good spin on your basic cat your ,basic leopard cat oh my God can you believe this is the last category we have and it is ,overalls do you own overalls yes or no but if you do there are some pretty good costumes that you ,can be Chucky a classic just throw on any striped shirt that you have if you have red running shoes ,or Converse then you are way ahead of the game but I don't so this is what I came up with wear ,your overalls which mine are my painting overalls but I don't know how much that matters especially ,because Chucky's overalls are like a little dirty obviously red or orange hair is really ,going to help to sell this costume and some face makeup a little bit but in the end Chucky easy ,Chucky don't carry around real weapons that's all I have to say ,speaking of paint on my overalls I was inspired by this and maybe you could just be a painter ,just hold a paintbrush or a roller and you are a painter do you have paint job is that too ,last minute that's like last minute level you have five minutes you are not getting ,into the party unless you're wearing something so bring a paintbrush and wear some overalls,foreign potentially our most iconic overall wearing character Mario or Luigi I have a ,little bit more well I have green and red I could be Mario or Luigi throw on a red shirt throw on a ,green shirt the hat is the harder part you might have to find DIY or make it or even just using ,a cap like a ball cap I think is better than nothing Andrea says You must only talk in an ,Italian accent this whole time is that a laugh I'm emphasizing my buttons with some yellow here ,and you're pretty much good to go you have gloves that's great too of course with our ,overalls we think of the classic farmer you can throw in some flannel a straw hats some boots,Farmer's speed cities and then this one might be a little bit Niche but did you guys see ,that movie X which I thought was so good there's the main character in it and she wears overalls ,it's definitely a little bit more risque but you throw on a handkerchief bandana on the hair you're ,really just wearing overalls at this point or some kind of like nude bandeau cover and carrying ,around in faux ideally and you're the girl from X if you haven't seen that movie I recommend it but ,it is like not PG and it's also a horror movie so it's not for everybody okay those are some ,pretty good ideas I think that you can make out of things that are already in your closet another ,classic clothing item is the pleather pant legging I'm sure a lot of us have this and there's a lot ,of things that you can do with it that might be the basis for my costume this year which is,Trek in the sky if you don't know what that is there's this filter on Tick Tock where Shrek Is ,Like Dancing twerking in the sky I kind of love how weird it is I think combining like weird and ,like kind of sexy on Halloween is a recipe for Success so I want to be Shrek in the sky which ,I don't know how I'm gonna do I'm gonna need to find a lot of pleather thrifts and pleather maybe ,I can rent a suit if that's possible and then we have the face makeup will I regret this guys the ,problem is we're having a party for Halloween in celebration of our 12 year anniversary and just ,it being Halloween I mean I want to be this but then I'm going to be at a party like green faced ,is this a smart idea let me know in the comments below um and then also I think if he's sick if my ,partner was Lord Farquaad because he kind of looks like Lord Farquaad sometimes so that 10 last-minute, lowkey fire HALLOWEEN COSTUME IDEAS you already have lying around the house

does that look like a nosebleed,i guess halloween is happening this year,hey you it's katie you and today i am,bringing you 10 last minute but not lame,somehow still decently original and,quirky and won't get you these oh my god,you're so basic looks costume ideas that,you can 100,guaranteed half ass from things you,already own or your money back the only,props that i had to go out and buy for,this y'all were food props,you'll see what i mean but actual,clothing pieces and accessories i had,100 of these in my closet already so if,you're running on a little bit of a time,crunch i got you just keep on watching,costume number one which is what i am,personally being marie condo,i've been wanting to be marie kondo for,two years so i'm very very excited that,i can make this and put it in a video,marie condo is known for her very clean,lines and her conservative silhouettes,and so i feel like if you channel any,skirt with a very clean cut simple top,stack on a couple boxes and heels you,got her vibe down really really well i,personally used inspiration from her,netflix show cover photo where she's,wearing an iconic yellow skirt and a,white top unfortunately i do not have a,yellow skirt so i decided to flip the,colors marie kondo also has very,straight black hair and she also has,bangs i thought my bangs would be short,enough that i could style them but no,bro,you better stop,listen don't do what i did go get clip,on bangs just go around to people asking,them all night does that beer spark joy,does that candy spark joy does it really,does it really spark joy,will you accept this rose,the next costume idea is also super,super simple it's the bachelorette all,you got to do is throw on the fanciest,dress you own and get a bouquet of roses,from your local grocery store okay all,my friends are absolutely obsessed with,the bachelorette and the bachelor series,i personally can never get into it,especially in the beginning where,they're going on group dates of like 10,people at that point that's just,networking that's just literally like a,company dinner,not interested in that i usually hold,off until there's only three left and,she's deeply deeply in love with all of,them and that's where the steamy drama,comes in i'm telling you right now i'm,not going anywhere,until i,get a chance to share with you,so that's when i start tuning in,can you guess what this one is wait,peep the duncan still can't figure it,out all right,huh,huh still can't figure it out okay,worst ring light setup ever,i am charlie d'amilio,i love this costume because it is so,comfy leggings and a crop top and a cup,of coffee this is the uniform for,countless american teens across the,country so you don't even have to try,that hard i feel like what really needs,to sell it though is your behavior,throughout the night okay you cannot,stop wowing you cannot stop whipping you,cannot stop doing the running date at,any point in time,she puts her hair in like messy buns a,lot because she's just so quirky and,she's just so normal she's a normal teen,i don't like coffee let's see if i can,pull off charlie damilia's like,i can't do that,okay okay charlie watch out guys this,may be my favorite look,i'm boba,i can't stop smiling my cheekbones are,literally frozen if you were prepared,unlike me you would have secured a,headband to glue this to so you don't,have to hold it here just imagine that,this is just magically,balancing on my head like this,literally the only ingredients you need,for this boba tea is a white dress of,some sort because i feel like that,provides the most amount of contrast,with the tapioca pearls the boba and a,toilet paper roll that you can coat in,whatever color if you're actually,planning to go out and dance in this i,would recommend that you use safety pins,for the pom-poms i just used tape and,i'm not sure if that was the best idea,but it aesthetically gets the job done,tapioca pearls right so pearl earrings,pearl bracelet,there's symbolism okay for the next,costume we are using the same white,dress so unfortunately the first step is,going to be to remove all the boba,so sad the next outfit is 11 from,stranger things so we threw on the,highest top socks i own hers go higher,so if you can go higher go higher and,white sneakers she sports a navy type,jacket over her super baby doll pinkish,dress 11 has this superpower but when,she uses the superpower her nose bleeds,so we need some fake blood in here stat,okay we are gonna try to make fake blood,nose bleed with these two products i'm a,little scared,does that look like a nosebleed to you,sure sure sure and the last thing is 11,is obsessed with eggos it is the only,thing that disarms her so you know i had,to cop them from the grocery store and,that is the literal entire outfit you,just have to go around like this,super simple easy culturally relevant,everybody will know who you are,i'm realizing,i put these numbers on backwards,and um,i'm just going to ask you to ignore it,if you have watched the show you might,be able to guess who i am from the,number it's kang,she is a north korean defector slash,escapee and she's trying to freaking,reunite her family like that's all she,is trying to do can i live can i live,can i,live why y'all want to with me,why why y'all so mad at me what have i,done to anybody but to get money i think,this is another very very timely,halloween costume of it's going to be,super hot this year and it's super easy,to do so you might as well wrangle up a,few of your friends and become the squid,game squad you just need any type of,monochromatic track suit preferably,either like a cooler green or teal or,blue or if you want to be the guards you,can go for bright pink as well and to,feign the uniform numbers i literally,just cut it out so yeah i'm really,really freaking proud of this costume,it's so low effort but i feel like,nobody absolutely nobody will not know,who you are,but you can try harder okay be better,than me i am jess from new girl jess is,probably one of the most simple but,quintessential costume outfit ideas i,feel like you can do she's very often,seen in red and so i threw on the,closest thing i had to that which is an,a-line silhouette of a red dress and in,the intro,they hold like a regal,very very fancy picture frame and um,i obviously,outdid them um i literally made this in,real time,if i had done things properly like a,proper youtuber,i would have prepped this like yesterday,this is really embarrassing,can you guess,kermit the motherfreaking frog and guys,this is so on brand because kermit has,been a foundational building block of my,channel since day one he is an icon,kermit is pretty simple you just need a,lipton tea bag and an all green,monochromatic fit ding ding,i hereby raise a toast to our king i,accidentally left my kermit at home so,i'm really sorry that he couldn't be,present with us here today for this,toast and this award but he has truly,changed my entire life he has changed,the cultural fabric of this country and,today we honor him by dressing up like,him,all right the next costume we have is,cheryl blossom from riverdale,unfortunately i am not a ginger,unfortunately i was not able to secure,red hair coloring before this video but,um,this video is going up like 10 days,before halloween so maybe 10 days is,enough for you to dye your hair red i,don't know because cheryl is a ginger,she channels a lot of red tones,throughout all her outfits and one of,her most iconic outfit combos is that,red coat and all you gotta do is ask,super aloof and,go like that the whole night and i think,it's pretty believable honestly i have,very very low expectations and i'm kind,of pleasantly surprised i am a pantone,paint square everybody knows those,pantone paint squares that are super,super aesthetic i used to collect them,as bookmarks every time i went to like a,home depot we are honoring those paint,squares today by by dressing up as one,you honestly just need a fully,monochromatic outfit where all the tones,match pretty well and then diy or print,the pantone logo and if you are going,trick-or-treating honey,i can't prepare even my bag is a,matching blue and now that i think of it,this could be a really good group,costume because it's so easy to,coordinate you guys don't even need to,buy anything match whatever's in your,closet to whatever's in your closet big,brain am i right ladies and gentlemen,this is probably the most basic outfit,of them all but i feel like it's just so,quintessential and simple and so many of,us have the ingredients that i gotta,include it in case you forgot about the,cultural icon that is tinkerbell and for,once my puffy microphone actually comes,in handy because tinkerbell did have a,wand for tinkerbell you pretty much only,need a green dress your hair in a bun,and preferably white dainty heels but,your girl doesn't have that so we hey everyone welcome back to my channel,it's Sarina today we are going to be,focusing on 5 easy cheap last-minute,work appropriate Halloween costumes so I,was inspired by looking through,Pinterest and BuzzFeed articles and just,kind of surfing the web and trying to,come up with costumes that were really,inexpensive and stuff that we're really,like already in your closet um I wanted,to challenge myself as I flipped through,all of these ideas and stuff that these,have already been done but I wanted to,challenge myself and see if I could,figure out what I could do as far as,something that was work appropriate and,stuff that I already have in my closet,this is like genuinely I did not buy,anything in this video that I did not,already have at home so if you guys are,interested in the 5 easy Halloween,costumes that I put together that I knew,would be work appropriate I know a lot,of you ladies work in an office and,you're not gonna be going all hoochie,coochie to the office for Halloween two,things or two side notes before we get,started one if you're wondering we're,gonna get these got them in Hobby Lobby,- where did I get my shirt Amazon if you,guys are interested in that I'll,definitely link it in the description,box below if you guys want to check,those out secondly my background here,might be a little Wiggly why because my,German Shepherd is,right down here and I just don't have,the heart to kick her out of my filming,room so she's gonna be shuffling around,and she likes to snort and make all,kinds of noises so my filming room is,not haunted it's just my dog another,actually a for mention if you will,there's nothing easier than going out,and buying a pair of animal ears,sticking them on your head and going to,work the animal ears it's like a six,half point bonus Halloween costume for,you I know that some of you guys are not,SuperDuper into crafty stuff and you,guys are like busy moms busy career,women and you're like I don't have time,to put anything together just give me,something easy everybody has that one,co-worker ahem it would have been me,when I was in the office that is like,super into Halloween and they want,everyone to dress up and they're like,let's dress up and you're kind of like I,mean okay if it's easy so it's like a,lot of you guys are last-minute with,your costumes,and you guys are like yeah that one,co-worker that's like come on let's,dress up and we funk and you're like oh,right you know they get you in the,spirit last minute so you're thinking to,yourself I don't have time for this so,this was kind of where this came from,this whole idea of like last-minute and,in your closet and you know work,appropriate cuz I know if you guys are,getting your coochie coohcie Halloween,costumes out of the way you guys have,already done that on Saturday which is,like this Saturday before Halloween,which is like you're going to work what,is it Halloween's on a Wednesday this,year so if you're like at work and,you're like okay like what do i do,that's easy and then I don't have to,spend money on okay all right so the,witch this is the classic the easy the,timeless Halloween costume believe it or,not yes I did already have this mondo,gigantic witch hat in my closet because,I'm a Halloween nerd and because being a,witch is the easiest thing in the world,this is going to be just a giant,lightweight hot that sits on your head,and all you do is you throw some black,clothes on guys done,instant easy costume you know when,you're sitting at your desk if you work,at an office or if you're kind of,scooting around you you know you work,retail whatever this hat,is not gonna be uncomfortable you want,to get something that's lightweight,something that's not gonna mess up your,hair like crazy I think you can just,pull up on right when you walk in the,door at work I just wore this with a,long-sleeved work-appropriate mid-thigh,black dress this was like a dress that I,got from Target a few years ago and then,I threw it on with some leggings and,some black ankle boots this is the,easiest thing in the world and like I,said it's very Halloween if you want to,buy something ahead of time like,obviously you need a witch hat but a,witch hat is something that you're able,to buy literally the night before,Halloween at a costume store and they're,not gonna run out of witch hats okay,like witch hats are so classic and,they're all over the place so this is,the easiest costume in the world and,it's not going to bug you while you're,at work I really took these things into,consideration thinking what would I wear,at the office that is not going to be,bugging me all day long you don't want,to go to the office with some crazy,costume that's gonna be getting in the,way of your work so a witch is the,easiest thing in the world most of you,ladies out there have black in your,closet and you don't have to limit it to,black you can wear green pink blue,orange what ever colors you want the Hat,is what makes the costume we might as,well just go in order of ease here so,the number two easiest costume that is,work appropriate is Rosie the Riveter if,you throw a red bandana in your hair and,throw on some kind of a button-up shirt,everybody is going to know Rosie the,Riveter,this one is easy I for this DIY all I,did was I got a red bandana that I did,already have at home the original,photograph I think she's wearing a red,one with white polka dots but as far as,I'm concerned this does the trick it,looks exactly like the real thing and,everyone's gonna know you're Rosie the,Riveter as far as the shirt goes I,believe in the actual photograph she's,wearing a full-blown like denim or like,coverall jumpsuit but like I said as,long as you got that bandanna in your,hair everyone's gonna know you're rose,riveter so I went ahead and went into my,husband's closet because I surprisingly,I don't have a denim chambray button-up,shirt so I just went into his closet and,I grabbed one of his button-up like dark,denim looking shirts and I just took a,black skinny belt and belted that thing,and threw it on with leggings now if you,want to get like really into it you can,do like a chambray shirt and some,overalls that would work really well or,just do a chambray button-up shirt and,stuff jeans some blue jeans that's gonna,work for you,I've seen it on like BuzzFeed and like,Pinterest people have done like a white,collared shirt like it literally does,not matter as long as you have the red,bandana in your hair and you're going,around rolling up your sleeves and,flexing your muscles all daily,everybody's gonna know you're Rosie the,Riveter I also did Brandon Lee I don't,know if you guys can tell I cut out a,circle of white paper and then I drew a,little smiling face on there with a,sharpie and just kind of taped it to the,collar of that collared button-up shirt,because if you zoom in close to the,Rosie the Riveter photo crap there's,like a little more she's got like a,button or a sticker of like a little,like Women's Union pin on her little,collar so I just went how it went ahead,and I cut that out and I stuck that with,some scotch tape and just stuck that on,my collar and,I don't know this is just really easy,and really adorable so I definitely,think this is something you can pull out,of the closet and put it together last,minute and again a bandana is something,you're gonna be able to pick up at the,costume store super easily that's,something they always have and readily,like supply like at Party City you're,gonna be able to find a red bandana,throwing your hair so that is easy,costume number two not to mention it is,work appropriate I've got a little bit,of cleavage going on but you know you,can button it up for the office ladies,all right number three on the work,appropriate last-minute costume train is,the Oracle or the fortune teller the,gypsy fortune teller,this to me is super easy no all of you,might have this in your closet but I,know I did this is like then there's so,many options so all I did was I threw,all in like all my costume jewelry I,like haven't worn this stuff or seen it,in years I like went into my closet and,I dug in for my old costume jewelry box,and I was able to find a bunch of bangle,a bangle bracelets I had a bunch of old,rings and I went ahead and layered like,three big gaudy necklaces on top of each,other and then the dress is a random,muumuu and I got from Ross from like,literally like four or five years ago I,think when I was going on a vacation or,I was going on a cruise and I wanted to,wear it over my swimsuit as a cover-up,and then the top layer is just a blue he,moto style open like shrug that I got,from Target a few years back and I,literally just piled everything on,jewelry all that stuff and then I went,ahead and I got a green scarf that I,already had laying in my closet and I,folded that up a couple times and I just,wrapped it around my head and obviously,like you want to pull your hair out so,you look a little cute and then over top,of that I just put a like gold metal,headband that I actually never wear,anymore and I got off of Amazon for like,3 or 4 bucks and I just put that over,top to hold it in place now this is so,stinkin easy I did also I have some,tarot cards lying in a drawer somewhere,in my house so that's kind of fun too if,you want to bring your tarot cards,around like everyone's gonna know like,ooh okay you're a fortune teller so this,is a really cool look and it's really,versatile I mean you can wear a maxi,dress with this if you have any kind of,like crochet cardigans or shrubs or,shawls really I think what makes this,outfit really obvious that you're a,fortune teller is the layered on jewelry,and the scarf on your head so if you,have lots of jewelry I don't care what,color it is and if you've got like,layers of clothing that you can put on,everyone's gonna know that you're a,gypsy fortune-teller,so easy you don't have to do any crazy,makeup but if you want to incorporate,crazy makeup to this you can absolutely,if you Google Image Search a bunch of,pictures of gypsy fortune-teller makeup,there's some really talented makeup,artists out there that have created all,these really cool spooky looks so it's,really something that's versatile and,it's gonna be work appropriate you're,covered head-to-toe for God's sake in,all your layers so and this is also,gonna be something that's really,comfortable to wear to the office if,you're sitting at your desk and typing,on your computer I mean it's not really,gonna be something that's constraining,or restricting you you're gonna be able,to move around at work and do your thing,as a gypsy Oracle fortune teller all,right now number four this is getting,into my favorite which is like cheesy,territory really like puns plays on,words really cheesy stuff and this fits,the bill this is french toast so,literally I just I think I saw this on,BuzzFeed or something I just thought,this was the stupidest most adorable,like fun thing and if you wear this to,the office like everyone's gonna love,you you're like I get it french toast,that's very clever it's like the like,life gives you lemons like you're,walking around with lemons and your,shirt says life it's that kind of same,like funny cute thing that everyone in,the office is going to enjoy plus it's,work appropriate so what I use for this,is a black and white striped shirt,because for some reason that's like,stereotypically French I guess to to the,Americans or maybe the rest of the world,are not short now I did not have a black,beret but what I did have was a black,beanie that was round and I was like hey,that's that's as much of a beret it's,like that again I'm not gonna go out and,buy a beret so if you have a black knit,cap or knit beanie that's probably gonna,work for you just fine and another,stereotypical French thing is to have,the little WA the little scarf,around the neck so I actually just used,my same rosie the riveter bandana even,though it's like bandanna print I was,like I don't care it's just a red scarf,so that's like very stereotypically,French I just tied that on there and,then the toast I actually just went,ahead and I used I think I had some,scrapbooking paper or whatever you want,to call it cardstock in,my little craft supply closet because I,like to get paper crafty so you guys if,you guys are the same way you might just,have this stuff already in your closet,and you might not have to go out and buy,it and I did so I was able to just cut,out a little bread shaped toast out of a,brown piece of that card stock and then,I took a lighter brown piece and like,kind of mirrored that image only I,shrunk it down a little bit,tape the two of those together and then,I cut out of like a light yellow piece,of card stock which I was like I didn't,even know I have this I need to go,through my craft supply closet but I,just took a pale yellow piece of card,stock and I cut a little like splatter,looking thing and then I took a yellow,crayola marker and I just put like a,little square in the middle to simulate,like melted butter on toast,I literally just taped all three of,those pieces together and I taped it to,my chest that is literally it it is,super easy and I don't know I just think,that like the more like bunny and play,on words you get in the office people,love that so and then this is literally,like no restriction whatsoever I just,threw on some black leggings if your,office doesn't allow black leggings or,just allow leggings in general then just,throw in some black slacks or some black,pants anything is gonna work with this,really what makes the outfit is the Hat,the scarf the top and your toast it's,literally that easy so cheesy but I,think it's the cutest thing ever,now I saved what I think ended up be my,favorite for last and by my favorite I,mean it's like the cheesiest like,cheesiest of all five of them and that,is the scarecrow,I think this if like for some reason I,just think this is so funny but so,adorable and again it's something you,already have in your closet how many of,you out there have like a plaid check or,flannel shirt like raise your hand like,all of you I mean most of you not all of,you I know it's not everybody's style,but like and it's like not my style and,I even have two plaid shirts in my,closet so all I did with this was I,threw on some ripped jeans and I threw,on my little checkered plaid shirt and I,actually had a cowboy hat like a straw,cowboy hat,in my closet guy like literally never,wear this but it was like the brim of,the cowboy hat was like bendy so I was,able to kind of like bend it around and,construct it to look like it was like a,like scarecrow hat any straw hat it's,gonna do you can also do like a floppy,build hat like um just like any circular,around floppy build hat should work as,well like the felt hats or the wall hats,the straw hat looks like the most like,authentic scarecrow but I think what,really makes this look is the scarecrow,makeup which is so cheesy but it's so,easy to do,I literally just used a brown eyeliner,for this and I just penciled in two,lines coming out of my face here and,then I just simulated a little like I,don't know like kind of like barbed wire,ish like stitching up the sides of my,cheeks and then I went ahead and it,didn't wear any crazy lipstick I just,wore like normal lipstick and then I,just simulated more little stitches to,look like my mouth was sewn over like,the tops of my lips because I didn't,want to fuss with having like any crazy,lipstick on and then I took that same,brown thin eyeliner and I went ahead and,I created like a little rounded triangle,on my nose and then from there I just,kind of filled that in with a orange eye,shadow if you don't have an orange eye,shadow used like a peachy apricotty,blush if you have that I went ahead and,I did two little doll dots or two little,circles in that same orange to kind of,go over the cheeks and then I took that,little liner and I just kind of created,little freckles as well just so it looks,really cheesy very raggedy and a very,cutesy and you're literally done I did,also add a black crow to the mix because,I have black crows in my Halloween decor,from you know several years back so you,know I do need to buy anything for this,look and that makes it even better,because it's literally like it's cheap,you already own these things so I just,wanted to get creative and I don't know,this is so cheesy but I think it's so,cute so if you like already on a crow,and you like don't want to fuss with it,at work if you can just like stick it on,the Hat and,what to like you know be creative do you,you know anything's gonna work,especially for a scarecrow right because,like a scarecrow like I said the makeup,is what makes the look but like if you,think about a scarecrow like how many of,you guys have made a scarecrow yourself,in the past like when you're a kid like,for whatever reason it's literally just,old clothes that you have lying around,so you don't even need a plaid checkered,shirt I mean literally sky is the limit,and then also I didn't do a tutorial on,the makeup because I feel like the to,the makeup is like super,self-explanatory but if you are curious,make sure you google image search cute,scarecrow makeup and you're gonna come,up with literally so many options it's,gonna be kind of like that same cookie,cutter stitched mouth and you know like,stitch to
