🎃 Pumpkin Painting/Decorating | Halloween 🎃

hello and welcome to little learners,it's one of my favorite times of you,autumn which means Halloween is on its,way but how can you decorate your,pumpkins without carving them you want,to stay safe of course with those little,fingers around well I've got four,designs to show you so let's begin it's,a good idea to wash your pumpkin first,just to get any of the grit or grime off,of it don't worry if it's got lumps and,bumps all pumpkins are beautiful so we,are going to be making a skeleton first,so I am going to be using some black,glitter this sponge brush although you,can use any kind of brush I just find,the sponge is quite easy to use and I'm,also going to be using acrylic paint in,white and black now you could try using,water-based paints but they just don't,work trust me I tried The Critic paints,are available completely safe but you,just have to be aware that they can't,stay in clothes so don't wear your best,outfit to when you and your child are,painting your pumpkin so I am painting,my pumpkin completely white and then I,am moving on to the detail using a few,different sizes of paintbrush so first,of all I'm drawing two circles for the,eyes,you really don't have to be precise with,this that's the beauty of it which means,it is totally child-friendly,then I'm going to draw a long thin smile,because I want a happy skeleton I'm then,painting some vertical lines across the,smile line we've just drawn to create,the skeleton mouth effect again these do,not need to be precise,now we move on to the black glitter as,you will know if you have watched my,videos before glitter is my favorite,part of any craft so I just put a bit of,PVA glue on my paintbrush just a very,thin layer painted my black eyes with,the PVA glue and then used a sponge,brush just to sponge on some glitter,using my hand fur and fallout although,it wasn't really needed in the end and,once it's dry you have a sparkly eyed,skeleton pumpkin moving on to our spider,pumpkin I am painting the entire pumpkin,black and once it's dried I am getting,out my yellow acrylic paint for the eyes,but wait I forgot the glitter cover the,pumpkin completely in PVA glue apart,from where the eyes should go I used a,couple of pieces of circular card to,cover up the eyes and then cover the PVA,glue in black glitter once you've done,that and while it's drying you can start,doing the yellow eyes or any color that,you like and then I just used this small,circular sponge to make the pupils of,the eyes which I decided would be white,then we move on to the legs we will need,eight I'm going to be using black pipe,cleaners for the legs at the very end of,the pipe cleaners you'll notice that,there is a little bit of wire because,wire runs completely through it you can,use the end of the wire just to poke it,into the top of the pumpkin and they,stay attached really well so you don't,need to glue them or take them into,place and there you have it if i zoom,out there you have eight legs that,bounce around I think it's one of my,favourite pumpkins to be honest okay so,now moving on we are going to be making,a witch for our which we are going to,need a pointy nose because we are making,a stereotypical green pointy nosed witch,so I've cut out a triangular piece of,card and just folded a little tab at the,end made a little snip so that I can,fold it in half and it will adhere to,the pumpkin like so I've also cut out,two circles one that I can make into a,cone and then one that is slightly,larger for the base of the witches hat,if you have colored card that's great if,not you can just use your acrylic paints,to paint the card which I will have to,do because I don't have any colored card,left so I painted my entire pumpkin,green and you can see in the background,there I have painted the Hat and the,nose ready for the next bit of the craft,so I am just putting in the eyes there I,used a sponge brush and then just tidied,them up but of course they don't need to,be precise at all I then PVA glued the,little tabs I made on the nose and held,that on to the pumpkin it did keep,falling off so I just put some PVA glue,around the top of the nose as well just,to make sure that it really stuck on,there and of course the PVA glue will,dry clear,so it's not a problem I then had this,kind of shredded tinsel which I thought,would look really nice for the hair so I,put some PVA glue on the top you could,use maybe wool or string or you could,cut some strips of card for the hair,anything you want really and once,everything is dry you can add the Hat,some pupils to the eyes and a nice smile,because we like a happy witch on this,channel I of course added some glitter,to the Hat because I cannot help myself,and watch you check out that nose I love,it,okay so for our last pumpkin creation we,are actually going to be using some,medical bandaging kind of crepe bandage,anything you can get your hands on,really in the local pharmacy and the,only painting we're going to do with the,acrylic paints is some black eyes we're,then going to completely cover the,pumpkin in PVA glue and then wrap the,bandaging around in just any which way,you like you can fasten it with some,tape and then just kind of move the,bandages around so that you're happy,with them make sure that the eyes are,poking through leave a little gap for,those put some PVA glue on the bandages,and then of course finish off with some,glitter on the bandages and on the eyes,I'm using white glitter and silver,glitter,and there you have it a very quick easy,and cute little mummy pumpkin so that's,the end of our pumpkin creation video,today I am so pleased with how all of,these turned out and they are all,completely child-friendly really easy,for children to do even small children,with Customizing Pumpkins

hey it's me boo,it is officially pumpkin season got,something in my eye i figured since,pumpkins are in the air not really,they're just you know everywhere why not,paint on pumpkins cool story um,i did paint a pumpkin last year but um i,didn't actually make it a part of a,video now i could paint on real pumpkins,good good idea the problem with real,pumpkins is they rot and they,stink i threw away my pumpkin last year,and i didn't even really know how far,gone it was until i picked it up and,dropped it and it just,it exploded with the nastiest gunk that,i've ever seen for me it's just kind of,like demotivating to be painting on,something that i know is going to die,that way so i thought this year you know,let let's not paint on this time bomb,solution come on guys i got some lovely,pumpkins,fake,i can use it year over year for fall,decor and it's never going to rot on me,and be disgusting i got quite a few of,these oh look at this one chunky these,are actually pumpkins that i bought last,year to paint on and then i realized too,late that it was too late so they've,been sitting in storage for a year this,one got a little boo-boo so we'll see,maybe these will be in the mix maybe not,also have these mini ones from last year,as well i think it's fair to say i've,got enough pumpkins here to paint so,let's get busy,yes pumpkins and halloween,what is that don't do that i know spooky,and scary isn't typically my aesthetic,well not intentionally but i was,thinking maybe i should at least make a,small effort to do something in the,realm of spooky,ness so um let's see um spooky well what,kind of examples do we have here spiders,stuff okay let's just cut this tag off,it's uh stuck in the pumpkin that's,annoying i'm noticing that this pumpkin,is slippery smooth so i'm gonna grab,some sandpaper and just rough it up just,a little bit to prepare it for paint,these are supposed to be craft pumpkins,you'd think they would consider making,the surface paintable but hey maybe,that's me expecting too much i don't,know oh and i found a sticker,let me peel that off it's actually,really pretty holographic wow,i just stuck my gum in it now for my,design i feel like there is something,missing on the top so i'm gonna grab,some air dry clay i've almost used this,entire package i'm doing so good i'm,gonna grab a hunk of that and start,messing around with it i am forming an,ear stick it on there it's a beautiful,ear let's add another there we go got,those on pretty nice i'll just let that,dry for about 24 hours look at that time,flies the ears are nice and solid and,this pumpkin looks like it was a maid to,wear these ears so in case you didn't,realize i'm going for like a pumpkin cat,it's not just a pumpkin with ears it's a,cat i went with a cat because i was,trying to think of an idea for what to,make this pumpkin into and i thought,back to last fall jordan and i decided,to carve pumpkins no makeup hair's a,mess awkward as anything but rockin that,georgie sweatshirt we each had one,pumpkin to work on and we immediately,got to work on our own designs and then,we realized about halfway that we had,both chosen to carve cats we also both,kind of struggled to figure out how to,do the ears i tried carving in the ears,but it doesn't really work because the,ears are on its face and jordan just,left them out entirely but then the cat,has no ears so i decided to revive the,cat concept but this time resolve the,dilemma of the ears interesting stuff,now for the face oh don't look there it,goes i'm just gonna sketch out the face,and i'll start adding some little blush,that looks wack switching to red oh boy,that looks less like rosy cheeks more,like cheeks have been ripped off there's,blood there's blood everywhere i know i,said i was gonna try spooky but not this,way it was never supposed to happen like,this let me try this again i'm going to,blend it out smooth things over a bit,yeah that's better okay so for the eyes,i'm going to paint some nice large,spooked eyes,are you scared yet no and here's where i,realized one of the eyes is just a tad,bit bigger than the other one uh oh just,kidding i did make one eye much larger,on purpose i thought that one big bug,eye would look,spooky and i'm gonna make that eye,bright green i am using poscas but i was,also trying to get a blendy look which,is not that easy with poscas but i just,didn't feel like mixing up three,different colors of paint for one,eyeball so i'm just doing it this way,the other eye i'm gonna do something,really scary it's a dead eye oh avert,your eyes hide the children well you,know i'm trying okay let's finish out,the outline of the rest of the facial,features there we go i'm going to add a,little bit more detail to this eye i,want it to be very haunting and then,next i'm going to add some,yucky stuff oozing out of its face and i,don't understand why,why why i could have made this you know,blood,but i'm sorry i'm just not ready for,that so i just went with some nice,bright green glowing goo i don't know,what it means i wouldn't say i achieved,scary does it scare you because i think,it's kind of cute and she kind of,reminds me of someone it's winifred this,is totally winifred it's winifred in a,new form winnie what happened to your,eye honey i actually really like it,though i think it's cute okay moving on,to the next pumpkin this big boy and,look at that i just plucked the tag out,of that one real easy okay sand that up,a bit that feels nice and ready pull,that little sticker off i'm moving away,from the spooky thing now clearly i've,already mastered that i've sketched on,some nice loose squares all over the,pumpkin and i'm gonna get out my custom,mixed acrylic paints i have all these,colors left over from past projects and,i really need to use these before they,go chunky and this is perfect oh got a,little eager there this is a great,opportunity to use up all of my leftover,colors because i want this to look like,a totally random selection of different,colors just all thrown together i'm,going for like a patchwork look not a,pumpkin patch but a pumpkin of patch is,as if the pumpkin is kind of like,quilted i'm just going to continue going,around filling the entire pumpkin with,different colors on each patch got all,the colors roughed in now watch this,boom cleaned up got another couple coats,over all of that and we are ready for,the excitement,so not only is each patch gonna have a,different color but they will each have,a completely unique pattern on every,single,one of course the very first one that i,make is the rainbow patch possibly the,most special of all the patches and it's,stinking cute moving on to the next one,now did i realize at this point what i,had committed to by deciding to fill,this entire pumpkin with like 30 unique,patterns no no i didn't i was blissfully,unaware look at me just taking my sweet,old time making this pattern not a care,in the world you fool i love this black,and white dot one though it's so cool,also i need to pick up the pace so,here's where i've decided i'm gonna make,sure to throw in some simple patterns as,well you know let's do some good old,rainbow stripes real quick and easy i,changed the red to pink because i,realized i used pink in the first,rainbow and i wanted consistency but uh,all the rules eventually went out the,window and down the toilet yeah that's,right both i started on this little,green patch then i thought,now let me take a look at this last one,again i added an outline girl you're,scaring me you gotta move on now is not,the time to fixate on tiny details okay,back to the strawberries this may be one,of the smallest patches on the pumpkin,but it's definitely one of my favorites,so cute okay next now i will say that i,really enjoyed the process of making,this pumpkin mostly the misery,definitely didn't start until much later,and i think i had so much fun with it,because i really didn't do any planning,i wanted it to look truly random so i,just totally made this up as i went love,the sum outlined some not look moving on,to some cherries one thing that was,slightly annoying is that because i,wasn't planning it or sketching it in,advance i kept creating slightly awkward,spacing it's not perfect and i don't,like it let's say it's part of its charm,the cherry patch was inspired by the,strawberry one but it's less good still,cute though i also did try to,incorporate quite a few black and white,patterns to kind of bite through that,color just right,because if everything is super colorful,it kind of just mushes into a sea of,color but then if you throw in some,black and white in there then you have,created true chaos this one almost looks,like black and white sprinkles which,reminds me,sprinkle patch oh while i move on to the,next couple of patches this is the,perfect time to mention that this year's,halloween merchandise is out and,available on my store i have three new,designs this year including the one that,i'm sporting in the intro the link is in,the description if you want to check,those out speaking of what's in the,intro some of you have been confused,about why i had this whole video a,couple weeks ago packing up my old art,room i said i was moving and then since,then i've just been right back in my old,art room well um this is my new art room,can't you tell the difference i mean,they're so completely and totally,different,okay so yeah that's right all that drama,over moving and i essentially have the,same background but as i've mentioned,before the rest of the room is in fact,very different than it was before i will,do a tour of it some of you are politely,harassing me about it i promise i will,show you it i just need a few more weeks,to get everything set up so please be,patient okay back to the pumpkin i've,made this flower patch that i absolutely,hate oh it is so ugly oh that that's,just making it worse it looks like,spiders and snakes i hate it i cannot,emphasize that enough it needs to go,well while we're waiting for that mess,to dry let me head on over to the,neighbor and see what we can do howdy,neighbor i couldn't decide which style,of watermelon to make so i made both oh,this is ready go over that again all,right back to the watermelons and then,again with this and then the watermelons,i'm getting dizzy let's finish those up,and i did end up doing a black and white,floral patch on that purple again but,just did it a little bit differently,it's still not my favorite but you know,i was just striving for not hideous this,time and i think i've achieved that i'm,just very talented i went on to this,drip patch which is kind of different i,mean not different from me i do rainbow,drips all the time but it's definitely,not the traditional look for a quilt,patch it looks more like a uh,a quilt patch and this is the point,where i'm like okay i've been working on,this all day it's time to do some,simpler patterns so hearts yes cute,little triangle banner oh amazing and,now i have made my way down to the,bottom of the pumpkin so these patterns,are gonna be much less visible so we,definitely don't need to do anything,super crazy down here do you hear me we,can simplify this was like two o'clock,in the morning and i,i needed to stop but i had put so much,work into this freaking pumpkin at this,point so i tried my best to finish this,out strong apparently my idea of,finishing out strong is these uh beans,or amoeba i don't what it what is that,this is my brain at three in the morning,finally each and every patch is filled,with its own unique pattern and boy what,a feat that was to finish off the design,and really create that patchwork look,i'm gonna outline each patch and then,draw little stitches every so often to,make it look like they're all sewn,together and that really made a huge,difference in the look of it oh my gosh,it's so good it's so good i didn't draw,a pattern on the very bottom patch don't,come at me it's it's the base and it and,it's a solid color we want the base to,be solid because it's it's three o'clock,in the morning okay and then it was done,and oh my gosh i mean this this is a,look okay it's a huge chaotic clash of,random patterns and colors definitely,not everyone's style this is the type of,thing that people might describe as like,rainbow barf or oh it hurts my eyes but,personally i love it i think it just,looks so fun and wild and now,ow oh gosh sorry i just had to die for a,second now the last pumpkin i'm going to,do i actually chose one of the mini ones,that i've had since last year so i,grabbed some tan paint i'm going to,paint the entire pumpkin one solid color,if i can hold on to it long enough,that's okay that's good just finishing,that off now how do i put this down to,dry didn't think that through well i did,figure that out and now i'm gonna throw,on a second coat beautiful,looking swell i am gonna repaint this,stem with a lighter brown to give it,more of like a cutesy look and then i,notice there's this gap under the stem,that is unacceptable so i tried to just,like shove some paint into that crevice,and it actually worked problem solved,now for puffy paint i'm going to do,something so predictable so basic it's,not even funny i'm going to add some,pink drippiness like sauce all over the,top of this pumpkin ooh yummy um and,then i'll just toss out some good,sprinkles because this is gonna be a,dessert pumpkin of course but i had to i,just had to do it it took a small,fraction of the time as the other two,pumpkins but i still like it alright,that's all my pumpkins done i love how,different they each turned out and i'm,just so happy with the bunch of them,i'll definitely do this next year if you,guys want me to best part Custom Painting Pumpkins *DIY Halloween Autumn/Fall Decor | R Studios

hi everyone and welcome back to our,Studios this video is our annual pumpkin,decorating video in this video we're,going to be creating some cool Halloween,decor and we're going to be painting,pumpkins,so the girls have done painting pumpkin,videos for the last two years and I have,to be honest I've always watched videos,and thought I would really love to have,a go at that myself so yeah this year,we're all going to do it and you'll get,double the amount of ideas yeah,obviously this time of year it's,considered tradition to carve pumpkins,but,I find it really really hard to carve,them I think you do and all of my,friends do as well so we've always,thought that it would be a really really,cool idea to maybe offer an alternative,option I really enjoy carving pumpkins,and would have been very happy to do a,pumpkin carving video today however,painting them is slightly easier and,it's something that everyone can do,really quickly and they do actually last,quite a long time yeah they do,but before we get started we wanted to,announce the winners of our recent,painting by numbers giveaway before we,do that we just want to thank everyone,who entered who really you've,got Instagram,um but again congratulations,back on to today's video so I've just,put the um pumpkins that I actually got,these from Lidl by the way if you live,in the UK these are ghost pumpkins which,I've never seen before I think they're,just not ripe yet because pumpkins come,out like this and then go orange these,were three pound sixty so there were,more and they're normal pumpkins in Lidl,were,I think they're two pounds the little,ones they have some Ruby's got there,some really little cute ones I love this,one I like that one as well we're like,40 Pence so the challenge is basically,we pick a big one and a little one each,we go off and over the course of the,next few days we paint our own pumpkins,and we come back together and show you,guys and each other what we've done so,just in time for Halloween you can pick,girls which ones would you like so pick,big ones first who's going first you can,oh okay,um all right that's my favorite one,yeah,you can go like this me yeah,oh okay well I I didn't want to take a,white one so do you want a white one oh,I don't mind do you pick next go on,which one do you want so that count is a,big one not really this one yeah okay,did you want the white one Tracy I think,that you can have mine I did want a,white one because that yeah you have a,moment are you sure yep thank you and I,will have another one pick a little on,each everyone you picked that one he's,already got one yeah they don't look,real they're so nice it's really heavy,as well,um I won't go for another white one I'll,go for this one okay yeah so I'll go,with that one because okay since I've,got a trying to go with a while,my pumpkins are very different in shape,so this is very big and round almost,kind of like a football this pumpkin is,very very pumpkin shaped it's really,cute it almost doesn't look real it's so,perfect in shape I got the two white,ones well this one's white I think the,other one I would say is more like,yellow toned as you can probably see,I'll show you the difference,and I went on Pinterest because best,place to find aesthetic looking things I,had the idea of contrasting the white,one with something maybe dark or spooky,but I don't know if I want to do that,now especially because they're going in,our house,I think it'd be safer to do something,more aesthetic I think what I'm going to,do is try and have a look for some ghost,images on the internet and then,illustrate some ghosts onto the pumpkins,certainly that's what I'm thinking about,doing for the largest pumpkin for the,Big Pumpkin what I'd like to do is do a,more abstract design so what I'd like to,do with the painting is actually section,the pumpkin off and have two very,different colors the number one thing I,wanted to do on mine was I wanted to,make the match so I wanted to make them,almost a set so I found this so,basically obviously the pumpkins are,orange on this but I'm gonna do the,opposite so I'm gonna instead of doing,white painting or white drawing on an,orange pumpkin I'm gonna do orange for,the smallest pumpkin I'm not really sure,at the moment but it will probably be,something similar something related so,that they work together as a pair for,the smaller one I think all I want to do,is paint it another color because I'll,put that on a shelf in my room and it,would look out of place if it was really,really bright orange for the smaller,pumpkin I'm going to work with the form,of the pumpkin like I say which is,really distinctive and try and do some,kind of nice stripe design with it so on,the big one I'll do this it's got like,Leaf patterns and it's got a little dots,on the end and then on the little one,here I'm going to do that little flowery,design my first idea was quite similar,to this,I do like the look of how this turns out,and I like,these these are some of the designs,where they're kind of sectioned off into,two colors which I really like and this,is an example of somebody who's painted,the pumpkin Stripes I've just Googled,blue ghost images there's a whole load,of them here that look interesting but,there's one that's caught my eye I'm a,real fan of 80s Games and I think this,blue Ghost will look awesome,so I'm going to use orange posca pen,I also think these are pastel looking,ones so it should be nice in like a,pastel shade as well I have gotta got,colors this is like a red orange tone,I'm going to use some metallic paint,here so this is a copper one and this is,a more gold bronze one I'm going to be,using blue and then also because this,one is a bit more yellow toned I want,them both to be the same shade but I'm,just gonna paint over this one before,and then over it I'll do the orange,black and white black to dull and then,white to lighten I'm going to start by,painting both pumpkins in white I'm also,going to be using black and obviously a,white as well I've also got some poscas,I've got a gold posca and a black Oscar,finally black,all I need to do now is get started on,it so I'm really excited I'm gonna start,by painting this,this is my small one so far I've used,the gold as you can see here which I,think works really well I've decided I'm,not going to do the stripes on the,smaller one because the texture is quite,bumpy but I do have a really good idea,smaller one as you saw before it was,white we have some designs on there Boo,there's a spider so this is the little,pumpkin I did these little flowers on,them and little dots as well so this is,where I'm at at the moment with my,pumpkins,um this is the small one and this is the,larger pumpkin this is the Big Pumpkin,so far I think it's looking really nice,the gold again works well this one I did,my initial idea the drippy pumpkin face,this is what I've done with it it's so,nice I found that using the pasta pen is,so much easier than painting it because,it would be so hard to paint this I'm,probably gonna sort of touch that,because I've only given it a really,quick wash and then finish off the,details on the ghosts themselves also,probably create some sort of Shadows and,Halos here I've marked out a couple of,options that I'm going,to go black and on the front of my large,pumpkin I've decided that I'm actually,going to do a face like a ghost face,I've just got to add the other eye to,this and more designs to the other one,I'm just gonna carry on doing this now,until it's finished,we're back so we've been working on our,pumpkins in different rooms and we've,now all finished them so we're ready to,show all of you and each other our,finished pumpkin so you've got two each,yeah I mean it didn't take that long but,I have to say,um I did feel like a kind of carry on,for ages with it I've got lots of ideas,for other pumpkins that we could,decorate so the really nice thing about,painting pumpkins is we have them in our,house before Halloween so yeah it's a,little bit like the build up to,Christmas it's it sort of contributes to,build up to Halloween yes anyway let's,go first so whose are these on the table,because I was there mine I just thought,I'd put them there didn't know where to,put them no one told me yeah but you're,the only one with um pumpkins on the,table,okay sure so I'm gonna reveal it now,oh,nice pretty that's very pretty oh wow so,this is what it looks like I found this,sort of design on Pinterest I painted it,first White because I wanted them to,both match colors so I did that and then,I got a orange blossom pen and I did,this okay yeah it was but it was like a,pastely orange it's like a thick corally,color so it's quite nice and aesthetic,and I think it will look nice in my,bedroom as well yeah it's quite awesome,um yeah color yeah very minimalist,Autumn's like I mean I didn't know ever,to add more I didn't know whether to add,less no I like it I just thought I'd,stick with it that's really nice that,she looks really simple but really nice,I think it's effective yes you don't,need any more to it,very nice but you have another yes sir,you're gonna reveal this one ready,oh,that's cute,they match this is a flowery one this,pumpkin the stalk on it's like sideways,so it looks deliberate when you put that,there yeah it's like a snowman it's,really like an elephant yeah,um but this one's got little flowers the,original one I saw it was smaller,flowers but this one I kind of changed,up and I made them a bit longer and then,I added little dots around it like this,so it would match and they're both just,kind of like nature themed and the color,because they're the same they look like,a set and it's really cute did you use,posca for that one as well yeah the,exact same show them my paint of,pumpkins I hope you like them,um I do I like them they'll look in your,room next Okay so we've got different,pumpkins under these bags this time okay,three two one,Halloween I love it cool I don't know I,just thought it'd be cool to do,something that was tip typical Halloween,because I know this is obstacle but if,I'm doing Halloween house Decor it's,kind of got to feel Halloweeny is that,from the film scream or something,there's a new horror film called smile,and everyone's saying it's terrifying,but yeah this one's really funny I,really like it I like the red idea with,the white it's I think my pumpkin gave,me that idea I think that this is nice,because that red definitely makes a,statement and I think that the actual,design really suits the shape because,you know it's quite short and like yeah,well it's like a pumpkin face isn't it,yeah it is turned into a skeleton so,this is my pumpkin and it is a workout,holding it but it is essentially a,pumpkin face dripping down kind of,skeleton okay so I have a baby one,coming up next is it the same thing I,have no idea are they pairing three two,one,this one's just like a white pumpkin,with Halloween things on it,oh spider there's a skeleton thing,that's some eyes hearing at you oh I,guess it has got eyes so this is mine I,really really like it I think it was a,cool idea I like the whole graffiti look,and I'm really proud of this I think,it's sweet and I'll put it on oh I love,the ghost on it I think that's I love,the ghosts yes I love the ghost as well,you could do loads of those onto mine if,you can all just turn around I put mine,on the table I can't remember what it,looks like,yeah,two one,oh very nice it's the Scarecrow from The,Wizard of Oz,well so I did this half of it in Gold I,wanted to do like quite geometric yeah,Stripes lovely yeah and then and then,when I've done it I'm like actually it,looks like a face you know like a mouth,yeah it's really good really impressive,yeah especially at first glance very,nice really nice I really like it I like,that one I like the gold I like the,white and like the black I don't see the,little I like the way that you,interpreted it into a face I like the,fact he's on the gold up there yeah,thank you that is mine and yeah I'm,really happy with it well done right,then are we ready for number two yeah I,don't know I don't know if I can fake,anymore,right you ready yeah yeah I'm ready,three yep two one,Prince or ghost's face,it is actually really clever yeah you,know like you get those bread wrap,things they all come together,so I did the bottom and I wasn't going,to do this I was going to do something,else however then I thought they look,like ghosts oh my goodness yeah you got,the bottom cough it's like proper sheet,ghost so we have ghosts and skeletons,skeleton pumpkins they match really well,really cool yeah really nice really nice,colors I really like the way that you've,developed,the way that they look based on the,process that you use rather than like,having an idea that I'm going to let it,goes it made something quite,um unique okay can you hear me let me,take mine off first so having seen all,of your pumpkins,and now just bringing mine out it looks,funny but it didn't look funny to me,when I was doing it so it wasn't on,purpose no so I'm expecting you all to,kind of laugh at it so don't you know,don't worry that's right are you ready,yeah three two one,Pac-Man,looks like a baby's bed,you know it does look like something,that someone would like give for a,little baby boy that's what I mean,that's what I'm saying it's like you've,all done these like,um Autumn pumpkins and I've just done,this kind of really baby blue I like it,I like it it's very you though Jamie I,mean,I do I do but I'm not sure how um how,much it fits in with the Halloween thing,it's a ghost I know it's a ghost it's a,good How to Paint Your Pumpkins | 5 Cute and Easy Halloween Ideas

hey everyone today we are making painted,pumpkins and this is a fun activity if,you don't want to carve jack-o-lanterns,this year and you want your pumpkins to,last a little bit longer especially if,you're decorating early you can try,painting them and you can be really,creative with all different colors and,designs you could use stencils in my,case I'm going to do black and white and,I'm thinking of a cat pumpkin an owl a,moon a spider and then a polka dot,pumpkin so I've got matte acrylic black,and white paint and then I have my,variety of brushes,and I also picked up some brown foam,brushes from Joanne Fabrics and these,will be perfect for making a polka dot,pumpkin,so the first thing you want to do is,clean your pumpkins you can use just a,wet rag to wipe them off make sure,they're all clean and ready for paint,and then hold on to this rag so that if,you mess anything up you can wipe the,paint off really quick and just start,over now that my pumpkins are clean I'm,going to start by painting my cat,pumpkin,if you want you could use a pencil to,trace where you want your cat to go how,you want that to look on the pumpkin and,then just paint right over that to give,you something to follow as you're,painting I like to start with a kind of,bowling pin body,so it's skinny neck and then it curves,out,and then I do a pointy football shaped,head and you could kind of tilt it to,give it a little bit of personality,I will say pumpkin takes on color a lot,faster than canvas does so this is a,pleasant painting experience if you're,used to painting on canvas I usually,have to do like two or three or four,coats to get that thick solid color so,this is really easy,so then I do triangles for the ears,so I do just a simple s,for the tail and have it get thicker as,it goes down,we can move on to our white details,I'm gonna do some retro diamonds,one thing I'll say about canvas though,is that it's flat so these ridges in,this pumpkin are a little tricky,thank you,now for the eyes I just do more pointy,little footballs in white,I do try to get them to match but that,is the tricky part,and then a simple rectangle collar right,underneath the head,so far I've only needed the wet rag for,my arm,finally we'll just do two little black,footballs for the pupils and then the,cat will be done,so heavy,so there is our cat pumpkin,the Crescent Moon I think will be an,easy one,basically just come around here and do a,c,or a banana,and since I want every pumpkin to have,some black and some white paint I'm,gonna make the Stars black and I'm gonna,do those as just little simple asterisks,okay our crescent moon and stars are all,done so that one is nice and easy if you,want a simple painted pumpkin idea now,let's do our spider pumpkin so this one,is going to have a white spider web in,the back with a big black spider in the,front and I guess I'll just keep this,kind of simple maybe do like a a big,asterisk and then web it together,you want your bug to curve in towards,the center,so there's our web okay I'm putting a,little spider up in the corner of the,web with a slightly oval head facing,toward the center,and then a bigger round body behind that,and then of course eight legs two pairs,Reaching Forward and two pairs reaching,back,I'm trying to make the legs touch the,web for realism,Eric's gonna hate this so much,I'm gonna do one more spider down here,and same kind of shape,with that our spider pumpkin is done,very creepy I'm not completely convinced,that I can paint an owl but I am going,to try I'm going to start by painting a,black branch that the owl can be perched,on,now I'll make an oval head an oval body,that kind of comes to a point and some,points on the Owl's Head,foreign,now I'm going to give him some pointy,black eyes,and I wish he was centered on this,Branch so I'm gonna try and make up for,that by extending the branch that way,and adding some detail up here,foreign,owl pumpkin is all done so that means,all we have left is our easy polka dot,pumpkin this is just going to have black,and white polka dots made with these,round foam brushes and I think this,should be our easiest one,oops,there you go,oh well I guess this could be a little,tricky,in,The Ridges,I'll just use my brush to touch up some,edges,once the black polka dots are dry then,we can put all the white polka dots on,and I'm just putting them in kind of,random order and gonna overlap some of,them and see how that looks,foreign,pumpkin is all done so with that we have,finished our painted pumpkins I thought,the polka dots would be the easiest,pumpkin but it was a little trickier,than I thought just because these foam,brushes get really loaded up with paint,so you have to be extra careful to avoid,drips like try to scrape some of the,paint off when you're painting this and,then also just make sure the polka dots,dry completely before you start,overlapping them but other than that it,was pretty simple and straightforward,and I love the result very cute little,polka dots and now I'll put these on the,front porch and we'll see how they look,foreign,foreign

Painted Pumpkins + Pumpkin Painting Ideas + Painted Pumpkin Faces + Halloween Crafts

today we are going to paint a pumpkin,it's thumbs up toy time hi everyone,welcome back to thumbs up toy time today,we are going to paint a pumpkin you can,do this for Halloween you could do it,for Thanksgiving you could even do it,for Christmas if you want it are they at,holidays but Halloween is a good one,obviously for pumpkins it's a natural so,that's what we're going to do we're,gonna carve one later on in another,video but right now we're going to paint,one so this is one way of doing it where,you don't have to handle a knife use a,knife and it won't be as messy because,you don't have to dig out all the seeds,and we got a kind of a funny face we're,gonna paint here so that's something,else you can do and make it more,colorful so first we get started so we,just have a a small pumpkin obviously,this is not a large pumpkin it's a small,one so we're gonna have a small space,that we're gonna be working in and here,we have paints that we use just a simple,little tray so we got black green white,and red those are the colors we're gonna,be using today usually I would use a,black fine tip Sharpie to draw on first,draw the face but since it is a pumpkin,and it's orange really sad we're going,to use an orange pen which is a little,more difficult to work with but we're,going to use that and our brushes are,pretty simple as well you get these with,any cry at any craft store so just,simple brushes they're not expensive and,the paper using this happens to be craft,smart again this is from the craft store,I believe got this at Michaels along,with the other supplies which is a good,store for a lot of this so let's get,started and first we're going to start,with the face so we're going to draw and,this doesn't have to be perfect again,we're going to do the best we can and,this is just an outline okay,so we're going to draw eyes,and when we do go to brush we could,change these lines a little bit too if,we want to in fact we're gonna make that,one bigger you can already tell because,I'd like to see that bigger I do the,same thing here and we're going to put a,couple little circles here those will be,white spots will kind of go over that,later what we're gonna do these are,gonna be some ghoulish eyebrows and then,we need a nose right so we'll do all,simple nose not too big,since we don't have a lot of room to,work with yeah let's see let's draw our,mouth now this is the fun part here so,let's I've been thinking about how I,want to do this so I would go up and,this be kind of a big silly smile let's,draw a line let's give this pumpkin some,bad teeth all pumpkins have bad teeth,don't they are certainly does yeah and,you could put cheeks on you could put,freckles you do a lot of different,things if you wanted to we're just gonna,keep it simple for right now so there's,our face so now we're gonna get started,we're gonna use black first get this,where you can make sure you can see this,so you use our black first we'll dip it,in here,so you can see that then we'll get,started with the outline we do the,outline of the eyes and we're holding,this by,han not using a template so it's not,gonna be exactly perfect but that's okay,sometimes if you go faster it's even,better less time to think about it,we can fix that up make that line a,little sicker,there we go thick line looks good cuz,that way we'll stand out more so when,you see it from far away you can see the,face better yeah that's a good start I'm,gonna make big eyes on him this is a he,we're gonna do a she also right now,we're gonna do heat what about a nose,sure what we're gonna do is,yeah,when we get into the mouth,make that line thick enough so you can,see it just follow our lines the best we,can again is gonna be perfect no it's,okay doesn't have to be just perfect,that way you kind of have your own mark,on it yeah it's a good start now we're,gonna go in we're gonna paint in the,eyes here and we want to be careful we,leave that little circle open just,enough to go in with some paint later on,that's good enough all we need is a,little one,you know,you see what we do with that little,circle later let's call the catch light,I'm gonna use it in drawing painting,photography and they call it a catch,like as it catches the light nehi it,kind of gives a reflection if you look,real close to the picture that maybe,your mom and dad have taken a view you,might see you catch light in there we'll,make that one little bit bigger let me,get to it yeah should we do uh let's do,the cheese so we're gonna outline the,teeth and religious paint and white why,don't we just paint in white,okay so now here we're gonna do just,some simple freckles oh that was like,pretty good already there we go,so that's what we have so far yep we hit,him right in the eye with that didn't we,that's okay,we'll figure that out okay so where,should we start we could do the eyebrows,what color should make the eyebrows,they're up here let's do those green,let's do those green just because we can,you can make these any color we want,yeah,and it paints a little sin I think there,might be a little too much water,get back with our brush see if he's,thicker you see that you a little closer,here,it's a little thicker I think the green,is just kind of a thin that's all we,could always let it dry if you wanted to,and come back with a second coat that's,something you could do,and there we go big bushy eyebrows see,this was drying a little bit already so,we're able to put on a little more green,but we'll let that dry Seaborn we'll,come back to it these are silly pumpkin,it's not necessarily scary pumpkins,then we're getting there what should we,do now,should we do these big eyes let's do the,eyes let's make sure painting is ready,to go see the paint over here okay now,we're gonna come in with all this white,first we're gonna do is outline this I,don't we'll do the best we can but not,exactly gonna be perfect that's okay,don't look nice everyone will get a kick,out of that all your friends and family,there we go,holds him up and you see him fill that,in you know come down and this line here,No so you went a little wide there,that's okay we can come back and paint,over there everyone with the black,always a little touch-up that's where,they call touch up and you can bet that,even the best painters in the world do,you touch up I'll just follow that line,and see that you know sometimes it's,hard with the light,we're gonna turn him sideways,yeah now here's the part that we talked,about before kind of even it out a,little bit see a little white spot it's,a catch light we're gonna fill it in it,just makes the eyes gives them a little,bit of life all right so then just not,black what's that like that's not too,bad,she'd do our teeth while we're here was,poor for pumpkins got pretty bad teeth I,hope you take better care of your teeth,they're important we may come in and put,another coat on there too right now this,will work line there right underneath,the lip line,do one more big bottom teeth one single,tooth I bet you he's limited in the food,he can eat don't you think we can't eat,a lot of fun stuff that you and I eat,that work enough it's coming along,better better look at that okay we're,gonna let that white dry you can see,it's already dry put him there okay now,we get to do the mouth that's a big area,I'll get our pain here you see that dip,it in the paint okay so let's go in,let's do our outline first okay go in,there in the corner go around the tooth,just like that,down while we're here we'll fill in this,spot,we'll come up here and follow this line,it's kind of curved line sometimes,actually easier to draw our paint and a,completely straight line there we go,draw that line across well we're almost,there,you see that that kind of dark,there we go just like that now we're,going to fill in that corner in the back,corner there,there we go come along pretty good for,almost there,put him down feel that White's doing,that white drying just a little bit more,so we're gonna get started okay so let's,get back to our white here now we're,gonna go in just kind of paint over some,of those thin spots it's all just to,make it the white little bit whiter so,it doesn't have that background color in,there so you be more of a bright white,that spot was still wet that's why you,still will send,I go over the other eye,back here in this little corner,there we go okay let's do the chief can,you see that I'm big cheese hair big,teeth with a big cavity we're gonna draw,the cavity no that little spot that's a,touch-up spot we did that intentionally,right just so we could touch it up that,gives us a chance to keep painting,longer here we go you ever do the,outline oh the other line we had before,fill this up you'd see that right,underneath it still look what see right,there how the red cams here I'm sticking,up are whitening okay how's he looking,it's looking pretty good okay now it's,dry it's not entirely dry it's pretty,dry we're gonna go in here touch up this,line a little bit there we go that looks,a little bit better I'm get up here can,you see that,yeah how's that,now we don't get carried away we do that,line there we do this line here where,else you were doing what about the lip,hair it's got a little bit of a little,thin spot here,right there,and see where the tooth came over,there we go I'm gonna do a little bit up,here see this but I'm sure you do right,here like that whole upper lip fat it's,not so thin,okay that way you can see it easier,how's that yeah it's
