DIY Tuesday: Baby Halloween Crafts

hey guys and welcome to my first DIY,Tuesday this is a little series I'm,going to be doing I'll be either doing,it every tuesday or every other I'm not,quite sure yet but this is the first,project that i want to show you i have,flour here which you're going to need a,half a cup of that a half a cup of salt,and one-fourth cup of water we're going,to be making little halloween ornament,type things it's all of a keepsake so,let's just get right into it okay so the,first thing we're going to want to do is,preheat our oven to 200 degrees okay so,once we have all of our ingredients,we're going to put them in a mixing bowl,you,alright once you have needed your dough,for about five to ten minutes you're,going to want to sprinkle some flour on,the surface that you're working on so,that way it does not stick to the,surface and you want your dough to be,about a half an inch thick you can also,do smaller the thicker you make it the,longer you up to bake it so I'm going to,make one that is only the size of his,foot,you,ah,ok so my dough is ready and I'm going to,grab my baby so we can stamp his foot in,there you can also do the hand you can,do both it's completely up to you ok so,i got my little guy and we are going to,put his foot right on in the dough push,it down in there mmm but you put in here,perfect good job heated now I'm going to,just push it down a little bit more so,we can have the outline a little better,on there i'm at the fill in that crack,kind of hard to see on camera but,there's this little footprint alright so,the last thing we want to do before,putting this in the oven is we need to,make a hole in the top so that we can,hang it and i'm going to do that using a,strong alright so there's my hole and,now we're going to get it in the oven,once your ornaments keepsakes whatever,you want to call them are finished,you're going to get a cookie sheet out,to line it with foil and spray it with,pan so they do not stick,by the time you're finished with,everything your oven should be preheated,and you're just going to want to slide,those guys in we are now going to set,our oven for four hours,alright so I just pulled these out of,the oven they were in there for like,four or five hours and they are now nice,and brown they're still hot so I'm going,to let them pull off and then we are,going to paint them ok so my hand and,foot are dry so now since this is,something that we're doing around,Halloween I'm going to paint the hand,and a foot orange this is optional you,can just leave it that color or you can,paint it's totally up to you so I'm,going to start painting,you,alright so here is what it looks like,painted and i'm going to write on here,Peyton's first Halloween and add some,ribbon and it will be in ornament to,hang up either during the holidays like,around Halloween time or you can use,this to hang up on your Christmas tree,it's totally up to you so I'm just going,to do that now,you,alright so here is the completed project,you can hang this on your door up in the,house somewhere you can save it for,christmas and hang it up on the,Christmas tree but that is the finished,project so we're going to move on to the,next one for these next projects you're,going to need white paper orange paper,black paper paint brushes green paint,yellow paint orange pink and white paint,and of course your little one okay so,we're going to start with the orange,paper white pink and a paintbrush so our,first step is to paint our little babies,piggies Randy pay okay come here it's,gonna be hard to film,you,will stiffen up there you do the same,thing with the other foot right next to,it one tier both feet pincher can,automate sure that they're filled in,because they're supposed to be ghost,you,okay so once you fill in your ghosts are,going to want to put them in a safe spot,so that they can dry once these dry,we'll come back and finish the project,so our the Argos feet are nice and dry,so we are going to finish up the project,we are going to draw little faces on our,ghost we're going to give them some eyes,or you can even googly eyes it's,completely up to you,okay so with the orange and white paper,and paint you're going to be taking a,butt print of your infant I did not,videotape this for a privacy but you're,just going to take their pants off paint,their butt and then sit them down on the,paper and then once the straw dries I'll,show you what to do next Peyton's book,print is now dry so i am going to use,markers to draw on the stem and the,leaves however you can use paint you can,use crayons you can use a combo of all,of them you can do that however you want,so we're going to draw on a stem,you

BABY'S FIRST HALLOWEEN | crafts for 7 month old

good morning,and happy halloween can you say good,morning,oh my gosh she's cute it has been over a,month since i've uploaded just life i,have so much to fill you guys in on it's,insane but today is halloween that's why,she's got her ghosts on what do you,think,yeah,say hi say hi everybody so anyway today,i want to take you guys along with us i,know i have so much to fill you guys in,on but i'm going to talk about that on a,different video otherwise this video is,going to be super long so nothing crazy,planned today we have some halloween,crafts that we're going to do that are,solely for me and not for collins,because clearly she doesn't know what's,going on and then we are gonna get her,costume on and head over to my mom's,and trick-or-treat or her house,just we're gonna ring the doorbell and,leave her at the door and go and then,the cowboys play tonight so that's,really it guys oh my goodness what do,you have there my mom got her the cutest,little cup it says collins on the front,we're still learning how to drink out of,sippy cups but and then you can see her,little jack-o'-lantern that says collins,on it my mom got her that too as if,she's actually gonna go,trick-or-treating this year which she's,not every morning starts with me putting,her in that chair and me making a cup of,coffee oh,we're out of coffee,it's supposed to be here today,it's supposed to be here today but it's,not here yet,what am i supposed to do amazon says,it's not supposed to be here until we're,arriving by 10 pm tonight which is,really not gonna do steven just went to,church so,he'll just have to stop at starbucks on,the way home it's really tough but,thanks for being here for me this is,literally,all day long,she doesn't even care she's savage,savage,you can't put that on the island anymore,are you ready to go play with mama,what do you think you want to go play do,you want to go play let's go then coop,say hi bubba,are you okay,oh my goodness she's thrown up like looked really cute but i didn't,do those i didn't do it like that you,know,like i can't tell it's a pumpkin anymore,because of the squibbles,are you trying to hurt,me quite frankly yeah,are you trying the car where are you,poop,there's the coopster,collins,steven we're on the way to my mom's we,figured we'd get her in our costume once,we got there in the driveway because,otherwise she's gonna get okay we surprised my mom and,dad in the costume and now we are across,the road at a park a little lake and we,just swung with her over there and check,it out,ellie,colley say hi,you say hi with your nellie and poppy,yeah i peed on my shirt right now i have,one that is zero to three months on we,can't buckle it,oh my goodness,you jump in yeah,are you having fun,you ready,say one two three,you go go again,that's about the extent of a park trip,with a seven month old did you have fun,wait okay did you get mama dang you,ready to go home we're ready we're ready,when you are falling,oh my goodness you're so cute,all right guys we made it home collins,is about to,eat and get a bag,i don't know what's going on,why you be fussy,she took like a 30 minute cat nap on the,way home um which worked out great for,bed she'll be ready for bed around 7 30,or 8. but we gotta get ready for the,trick-or-treaters my love and she didn't,wake up happy so thanks for watching,guys i know it's been a while it's been,over a month because the last update was,her six month update and she's seven and,a half months tell youtube,uh i was gonna do that in the update,video but i guess i can just we moved to,africa,youtube no we did not honestly just like,the perfect storm of the most random,things so i'm sure in my last video i,said something about steven's arm pain,we finally got a second opinion and they,were like before we do surgery for,tennis elbow let's just get an mri turns,out stephen i had an osteoid osteoma,tumor yeah he had a tumor in his elbow a,really rare tumor,non-cancerous yes thank goodness um,i know it sucks benign but anyway so he,had surgery on his arm and that he,couldn't hold her for like a week,afterwards and that was a mess and then,collins got 18. sick for the first time,eight teeth yeah,she got sick twice,within a month,because you want to hear about it wait,follow the uh or watch the seven months,yeah if you want all the details but,anyway,so just basically like a perfect storm,life all the things and,whoa you really started into your new,job and,busy oh i gotta do a new job update too,you didn't like falling back like that,you were really,you will go outside i have no idea,what's going on she's sassy we might go,outside because she's happier outside,you want to go outside let's go show you,how happy you are,let's see what happens when we open the,door she's already happy do you know,where we're going okay anyway i'm,sidetracked thank you for spending,halloween with us you got to see our,little flamingo and our little halloween,craft and we Baby's First/Children's Halloween Craft!!

hello everyone and welcome back to my,channel today i want to share with you,guys another,diy i'm going to apologize in advance,because i feel like all my diys i don't,really show you as i'm doing it but i,kind of talk about what i did,and show you guys what i did after i've,done it so,yeah i apologize for that because again,i didn't film me doing it but i wanted,to share with you guys a craft that i,did with caden,for halloween it's like and it's i just,think it's an amazing,thing to do because you can do it with,an infant or you can do it,with um your children your children can,be more involved than an infant but it's,an easy craft to do with an infant if,you want something to remember their,first halloween,so first off i want to let you guys know,that i spent,thr 350 3.50,on this project i think the tops you,could pay would be,5.50 if you yeah everything i got from,this project,um from the dollar store and i had two,of the items to make this so yeah,so what i want to show you guys was two,little canvases that i did,for caden's first halloween now we,haven't hung them up yet,but as you guys know i'm really into,like canvases and i really love like,footprints and handprints so,the first one i did is this one it is so,cute i'm hoping that this shows up right,when i edit this that all the words are,the right,but i did two of kaden's little,footprints first what i did is i painted,this canvas black,and i wanted it to have a little bit of,depth and dimension so i did take some,white,and kind of made like a white spooky,spot i don't know what you'd call it but,just so that it wasn't,i don't know i didn't want it to be like,all black i wanted to have a little,dimension and then yeah,basically all i did is i sat him in his,swing which maybe not everyone wants to,do it but this is the best way to keep,him still,but a little bit um i just took a,paintbrush and painted,um some white on his foot and then did,two little footprints this one obviously,turned out better than this one this one,is curling his toes so it's got some,funky toes,and i turned them into little ghosts and,i wrote boo,on them and this is one of two canvases,that i did i'm gonna hang them together,i just think,this is super cute now you could put,their name on it if you wanted,i wanted to have it very clean and just,look really nice because we are going to,be hanging this up,every year and i just wrote on the back,caden 2013,now um so all i bought for this was i,bought,two canvases as you will see the other,one and then i bought black paint white,paint and orange paint as you will see,on the other one so the canvases were a,dollar fifty each which is three dollars,then the paint was all a dollar each for,the acrylic paint,so i had the black and the white but the,orange was,um a dollar so it would be 550 if you,had to buy the black and white this only,cost me,350 though i don't know what is going on,but i just thought this is super,cute then the next one i did i didn't do,any footprints but i used his hand print,i painted oh look how cute this is oh i,just love it,i painted this canvas all orange and as,you see i tried to do like another white,spiral just kind of give us depth i,don't really like it on this one as much,i probably would have been nicer if it,was a solid orange but still,and then i used his little hand print to,make a spider coming down from these,little spider webs,and to kind of go with the like worded,theme i wrote eek because i thought that,these would look,super cute um next to each other on,the wall and then i thought another cool,little option would be to use googly,eyes as the eyes of the spider,but i didn't have any so i did,sorry i thought it was spider in real,life but it's outside um,but i just did the white with the black,dots and i just thought this was,super super super cute and again i just,wrote kate in 2013,so again this is super simple just,painted this time black and then pressed,it on,yeah and it just looks super cute and,this would be awesome if you have more,than one kid you could do two spiders,or whatever but i just think it's really,good because there's it's a craft that,you can do with your baby for their,first halloween craft or you can do with,children as,older so now i'm just going to show you,guys both them together oh my god see,look how cute they look they look,they go together they go together,they're like set you have to do both of,them you can't do one of them you have,to do both,but yeah we have a wall we're actually,going to offset them like this,and put them on this little wall,anyways i just thought that this would,be a really cute um,thing to hang up for halloween and we,can keep hanging it up and as we have,more children um we can do it with them,too or,do like a different version or variation,of it or,keep one up of ones and one others if,that makes sense but yeah i just really,want to share with you guys this really,cute,diy halloween decor children's first,halloween craft,that was really long but yeah i hope you,guys enjoyed it,next time i do a dui i will try to,remember before i do it and possibly,film me doing it which that's,probably more Halloween Crafts for Toddlers | DIY Decorations

hello welcome back to my channel and,welcome if you are new around here this,week's video is all about Halloween,crafts I was hoping to do some kind of,crafty bits with Oskar to decorate the,house for Halloween as it is coming up,next week and I was looking through,Pinterest and so many of the activities,I just thought he can't do that he can't,do that he can't do that and so I,thought I'd do a video of 5 different,activities that your toddler can,actually do and participate in some of,them it's more just kind of handprints,and footprints and then you do the extra,bits but there's some other activities,that they can do a lot of so let's crack,into it and make this a very quick video,of 5 super easy things that your toddler,can do to do some crafting for Halloween,so I chose these activities because they,didn't require too many fancy things so,you just need paper some black kind of,Sharpie pens some felt tip pens scissors,masking tape and some paint I got these,ones from Ikea and they wash out really,easily some kind of paint palette I'm,just using a plate and if you have,rollers or sponges they're an optional,extra but you definitely don't need them,to do these activities,so first up is pumpkin printing we tried,it with half an apple a good tip here is,to actually slice it over half so that,you don't end up with the core so you've,got a nice flat surface you could also,use potatoes for this as well and we,also use these little sponges to make,little little tiny pumpkins as well but,again you could use like a new potato,sliced in half to do this and once,they're dry you just need to use some,felt-tip pens to add the pumpkin faces,and stalks,next up we are trying out the hand print,bat so what you need to do is get some,black paint and paint to your child's,hand except for their thumb because,obviously you're going to need eight,legs on your spider,so once you've painted it black then try,to hold the thumb out of the way and,position their hand which is a little,bit tricky because they're not used to,what's happening on the paper make sure,that you push down on their fingers so,that you get each individual spider leg,do this again for the other half of the,spider,so again repaint clean off the thumb if,it has accidentally got any paint on it,so that you don't get a nine legged,spider and then again just print the,other way so that you've got the two,hands facing out pressing down on all,the fingers,so once it's dry you just need to add,the eyes of the spider I've just gone,for kind of cartoon eyes and then,decorate the background with a giant,spiderweb and optional extra you can add,a tiny baby spiders,you,okay so this is a super fun and really,easy one to do so all you need to do is,get a piece of paper two blobs of paint,and let your child mix with their hands,I used red and yellow and he was able to,do a little bit of color mixing and to,get a bit of orange and then we did blue,and green and he just went all out,mixing leaves together with his hands,and then we decided just to give him all,the different color paints and do that,kind of George's marvelous medicine,big brown gloop which he absolutely,loved mixing around so we did that and,then let them dry and they ended up,looking like this not very much of,interest but then if you draw on top of,them some potion bottles so I did this,one was poison and then I did a witch's,brew and then I did some toxic potion,cut them out and you'll end up with some,lovely bottles and this worked out,really well if you did a lot you could,make it actually into some bunting,the fourth activity is creating a witch,and amar actually do two different types,so the first type you are going to paint,your child's foot green you could do,this with a paintbrush,if you don't have a roller just as easy,so one green footprint in the middle of,an a4 piece of paper just make sure that,you press down all their toes so that,you get the full footprint and then all,you're going to do is turn this into a,witch if your child lets you,and then which round 2 is again painting,your child but this time their hand,green and one big green handprint in the,middle of your a4 piece of paper again,make sure that you push down so that you,get all the digit outlines and then,turning it into a witch riding a,broomstick this time,you,okay activity number five you are going,to need some card I'm just using the,outside of my paper pad and then draw,some outlines of some ghosts and then,cut them all out and use some masking,tape to stick them down on a piece of,paper I've chosen to do like a long,strip banner kind of thing and Oskar,helped me it stick them down,obviously if they've got little details,or anything just make sure that,everything is stuck so that when it's,painted on top that they're not going to,peel up Oskar helped me stick them all,down and we got to this stage and then,we used rollers and stampers again if,you don't have these you could either,make your stampers out of potatoes and,things like that or you could do brushes,or you could do finger-painting,whichever works for you,I chose kind of nighttime sky colors,black dark blue light blue and Oskar use,the rollers and the stampers to just,cover the entire piece of paper this did,take a quite a while cuz I chose quite a,big piece of paper but once it was dry,then you just peel off your ghost,silhouettes and you were left with your,white shape underneath,okay that's the end of this week's video,I hope that has inspired you to get,crafting with your toddler I warn hey guys,welcome back to my channel it's janelle,and everybody,this week we are back with some really,fun fall,halloween type of activities that you,can do with your little one,so these two ideas i came across and i,thought they were really cool so i,wanted to share them,with you guys just because they were so,simple to make,as well as the really fun sensory diys,that you can do and you could probably,kind of use the same concept,of these crafts and ideas but turn into,different projects for different seasons,so,i know there's different ways i'm going,to be turning these projects into,different ones for the upcoming holiday,season which i'll definitely be filming,some video,then you laughing at me some videos for,about those as well so stay tuned for,all those videos make sure you subscribe,and why are you laughing make sure,you're subscribing to our channel for,all those updates,and without further ado let's just jump,right into it and i'm going to show you,guys these two diys,for this first diy for the canvas you're,just gonna need some non-toxic paint i,actually find mine at the local dollar,store so just really make sure you,research that it is non-toxic,and then i also use some sharpies or,pens but you can do that either or,you can use paint or sharpies for the,last part and then this is the fun part,scary part is putting the paint onto,your child's foot and then laying it,down on the canvas,my trouble was ev just loved putting her,hand into the paint and,then rubbing it everywhere so she,touched her foot but,i mean in the end they kind of fun it's,a sensory activity as well,so you get the two feet done and then i,used her little big toe,a little big toe that sounded funny just,to make some small little pumpkins all,around the canvas as well,i started using green paint at the,beginning but then i really found it was,easier using a sharpie for the leaves,but i did use the brown paint to make,some stems on the pumpkin,and then like i said i used a green,sharpie green pen,to make the little leaves all over the,pumpkins,next we're going to make this really fun,diy felt pumpkin that,easily lets you create fun little faces,onto the pumpkin with your little one,so to start this diy i used a piece of,chalk just to help me,easily trace out anything that i want to,cut just because it can erase,or wipe off the felt very easily and i,started,this diy by just tracing it freehand,like not folding in half and i was like,why i'm not folding this in half and,making it completely symmetrical so that,is what i did,and then i got my perfect little pumpkin,shape,next using some green felt i cut out a,little rectangle for the stem,of the pumpkin you could also use brown,if you have this but i mean i just had,green so i was just making it all one,color,and then i also made some leaves going,with the same method that i did before,with the pumpkin,just folding it a piece in four times,just so i could have,four leaves that were exactly the same,size and also just cut down on time and,made it a lot easier,to get these leaves,once you have your shapes use a hot glue,gun to glue this down,i mean you could also keep these not,glued down and use it part as,the learning process making sure the,stem goes out the top of the pumpkin,letting your kid put the leaves wherever,they want so this is totally up to you i,just really wanted to,glue this down and another thought i had,if you wanted to make this a little more,sturdier you could glue the felt onto a,little bristol board or any,board that you find at the local dollars,or like a canvas and just make it a,little sturdier,and now the fun part to create some,faces so you can create as many as you,want i just did about three each so,three mouse,three nose three eyes but you could do,as many as you want or add more later if,you wanted to,and then you get to have fun with your,kid and there are so many different,things you can do with this activity,which is why i love it first of all it's,easy to make,but then you can like put the triangles,as the eyes,put the nose as a circle so there's so,many different learning,activities that you can do with your,child with this diy,lastly if you're looking for an easy way,to store this diy as there are a lot of,loose pieces that could get lost i'm,gonna link these really cool bags down,below,as it's really simple you just basically,put it in they lay flat and it's a quick,way to store anything,those were the two projects i hope you,guys really liked these ideas like i,said they're very easy,very quick to do which is why i was a,big fan of them,you're always laughing at me now what's,so,you're funny funny say hi,i forgot where i was now i think i was,just thanking you guys for watching the,video,and how easy these projects were that is,about it make sure you give this video a,big thumbs up and subscribe to our,channel,as we're back every week with more,videos yeah that's about it right,can you say bye there you go,bye bye,you
