DECORATE WITH ME | Halloween Kitchen Decor ideas

so,what is up you guys and welcome back to,another,decorate with me so today we are,continuing the decorating process and,we're kicking it off,with a parcel delivery which has very,much to do with exactly what we're doing,is a beautiful fall day today,and carl and i are going to not,finish off the decorating process,because it's never done,but we are going to put another dent,in the kitchen decoration specifically,we're gonna go into the living room as,well but this needed to,kind of kick off with a pretty good,delivery that i think will,help you out a little bit so once i got,everything out i was super excited to,put this together and it honestly took,like two seconds so,this is the exact measurements of my,current,tiered tray in my kitchen so my other,one is just plain wood color i wanted,this one to be black so this actual tray,comes in white black and regular,brown wood and i actually love it it's,very very similar,super quick to put together very happy,with the size,not too tall it actually just fit right,under the counter so it's absolutely,perfect so you basically just unscrew,the bottom,put that knobby thing through both,pieces,and then you screw on the bottom that's,it and you're good to go and it's got,some little feet on it,very good quality straight off of amazon,i will link it down below and like i,said it comes in three different colors,so you can use it,all season long and just match your,kitchen decor so i actually moved our,kettle and then we also had this little,reclaimed wood,little tray in one of the corners of the,kitchen i took that,off and i found a new spot for it and,then i just cleaned off all of the,counters,and then like i said that tiered tray,just slid,right under perfectly and i'm just gonna,be honest i hadn't measured before i did,this so i was,really happy that it fit but it was,perfect and it totally matches the other,tiered train is just perfect,and this super cute little soup pot,listen this is not stove top friendly,but i do keep it on the stovetop as,decor,and it is a dupe of a very expensive,version so i'm going to try and find it,online i don't know if it's available,online but,i found it at home sense or at home,goods i will try and find you,the exact same version because the,expensive version of it was like,300 i think i paid 30. so just retract,to zero,all right so this was the game plan for,this tier tray i wanted very much black,and orange,some of the little hocus pocus feet were,not fitting on my tiered tray but we,figured it out so,the other tear tray i very much wanted,to do like a more black and white,theme so i was really just trying to,gather together the pieces that i knew,would,go together and themed together and also,fit on this bar card so it's very much,like a gather the items together and,then go from there,and i got the cutest little dangling,feet not gnomes because i knew that i,wanted to gnome and i did find a gnome,but i just thought these little dangling,feet characters were,so perfect and i definitely wanted to,feature the orange ray done,pieces on this tray and then that basic,witch ray done mug fit perfectly the,little hat fit right under there,and then i definitely wanted to feature,the this is halloween everybody scream,mug which i love that it's double,printed on either side because then do,you see how i just flipped it around,you're good to go you don't have to just,pick one side and then the little open,mouth bat,he's like a candy dish i'm probably,gonna put some pods or something in him,maybe some candies i feel like i need to,make a trip to the candy store to do,that,and then i also got these little,pumpkins that were literally perfect for,the bar cart so i grabbed the orange one,and then i had this,mickey little succulent holder,no joke you guys i've probably had him,since july i was so excited to buy him,and then i added in my little gnome that,i absolutely love listen that bat needed,to stay on his hat there's nothing i,could do about it and then i started,wiping down,the rest of the counters cleaned off all,of the counters i ended up going back to,that other tiered tray so don't worry,but i just needed to get all of the,decor so at this point there was still a,ton of decor,on that countertop it was just packed in,the kitchen with a ton of decorations so,i knew that i wanted to,put that tray somewhere in that corner,either,under the kitchenaid mixer which i had,just painted so it now matched the,kitchen and could stay out,or next to it so i wasn't quite sure so,either way i was wiping down everything,i wanted to move,the tier the tray out of the way and i,wanted to move the kitchenaid mixer out,of the way and just scrub down that,whole area,all right so next to that orange tiered,tray,the orange and black theme tier tray i,put our new kettle which was perfect so,this is,either our coffee kettle or our tea,kettle and then these little,tiny redone mugs were perfect so these,are actually espresso mugs and usually i,don't put out the slurp one because i'm,like oh my god it's so like it's not,cute the other ones say sip,like no for halloween we need it and,then i have these little candies,that i'm pretty sure i got at michael's,and it just went so perfectly so,moving on to the tiered tray that i,always had this is the wood one that i,ended up getting at a home sense,pretty much exactly the same,measurements as the one that i was just,styling that i found off of amazon so,i always have these little mickey sugar,cubes in the,cream jar i almost want to cut out a,little s,letter and put scream i feel like they'd,be really cute i didn't i just thought,of that just now i feel like they'd be,really cute,and then i wanted to put the not so,scary mug on here i had the matte black,sugar container which was the beginning,as well as the spooky mug and the boo,was the beginning of raydon last year,this is how i found ray dunn,and then i put the whipped hopper i will,link the wick top of the whipped topper,for you guys i love these whipped,toppers like they're so freaking cute,and they're literally made for raydon,mugs but they also fit the donuts,dumbbells and dreams mugs,and then the little dangling feet,skeleton which i got a him and a her,and then i knew that i wanted to display,the is it a mickey or a mini,i think is that eyelashes or a hat is it,a mickey or a mini you guys pretty sure,it's a mini,yeah there's a bow it's a minnie mouse,she's fabulous oh yeah witch hat yeah,okay well you know what,neither here nor there totally totally,mickey's preference if you wanted to,wear that,and then the little girl oh my god how,cute is the skeletons i love the,dangling feet skeletons is kind of like,halloween gnomes and then another little,open mouth dude,and listen these are at target and they,always sell out apparently i've never,been able to get one especially because,i'm canadian,and i also decorated above the tiered,tray area we're gonna get to that but i,did like a whole hocus pocus theme,and then next to the tiered tray i have,a little marble type of tray,where i put the trick-or-treat plate,fits perfectly and then i also put some,dishes,we quickly went into the powder room and,decorated that as well,with a little ghost and a hocus pocus,light up little kind of treat bag and,then i ended up putting some black,branches in there also,which we're gonna get to in another,video alright so finishing up with the,tiered tray so i had,a ton of mugs that i had to figure out,this one was more,black and white with a touch of orange,the other one is very very orange so one,thing i did is i had these super cute,straws from last year,that totally i feel match the theme of,the,minnie mouse mug with a little touch of,purple and just like very halloweeny and,very hocus-pocusy,so i cut them all in half and i filled,those short espresso,raidon mugs with them and it was just a,cute filler like organized chaos is,really the theme that i always go for,and then i just filled the other ones,with those same little pumpkin candies,and there's a ton of different candies,like this at michael's in the baker,section or bakery section,so the little hocus pocus feet ended up,fitting on this mug because,they're yeah on this tear tray because,the shelf wasn't as short,those bat little stir sticks were,perfect by the way okay so this is that,area that i was saying that i had a plan,so that last little tray i wanted to,make a full harvest area so the other,ones are very halloweeny i,had the two donuts dumbbells and dreams,mug one of the pumpkin spice and one of,the,fall is the best time of all so i put,the two final toppers on those i had all,this,cute pumpkin spice stuff and some little,pumpkin sticks so it needed its own,little moment,was i quite sure as to what i was doing,yet no way jose,no clue but it all came together so,i had all these different you know i,have the tea kettle and all of that so i,split it between,the living room area and i just got this,little gnome tray and then,so i put it on the coffee table with my,little miniature wheel barrel,and some of the items of the harvest,area and then i also,touched on that in the kitchen so that,mini hay bale that i had bought that i,shared in the hall this is where it,ended up,with some little pumpkins the autumn,delights,candy these little light up pumpkins,were so perfect for that big mouth,mickey candy dish this thing was way,bigger than i thought it would be but,he's he's fabulous and it's so perfect,in that room and then i,i added in i had to a little,confectionary soaps co pumpkin pie,candle,love that candle they have like all,disney themed candles if you haven't,heard me talk about that company enough,yet but absolutely love and then i used,this,little tray for the remotes as well as,the fireplace remote,and we were pretty much good to go i,added in these pillows on the side,of the bar cart and just any of the,extra decor that i hadn't made space for,yet and i put away all of carl's,halloween toys he love you guys he loves,that snake if you didn't see the disney,hall yet,you need to watch the end it's so funny,so now all we need to do is really go,get,some candies to fill up all of these,dishes so so i have these,hanging cauldrons as well as this little,skeleton guy and,i'm just so happy with the way that,everything worked out so the fall is the,best of all and pumpkin spice,little space worked out really well i,have a pumpkin patch little dish as well,as a butter dish with a little ceramic,pumpkin on it,the pumpkin canister and pumpkin spice,season signs like,a lot is from michaels i've got a,pumpkin tea kettle back there which i,was obsessed with finding last year so,i'm super HALLOWEEN KITCHEN DECORATE WITH ME 2022!!

hey everyone so today we are decorating,my kitchen for Halloween it is time and,before we get into this I wanted to,mention the sponsor for today's video,which is Squarespace and I'll talk more,about just hanging out,decorating together this is our first,Halloween decorating video it is our,first stop this year and in the kitchen,this year I wanted to do a full on,Halloween in your face Halloween,exploded in my kitchen is what I want it,to look like so we're gonna do a lot of,jack-o-lanterns fall leaves ghosties uh,all that kind of stuff and over on the,Facebook group if you're in the,Halloween forever Facebook group if,you're not I'll link it in the,description box for you uh but over on,the Facebook group somebody posted their,Halloween kitchen I think the name of,the Instagram is glass Manor or glass,dot Manor or something like that if I'm,remembering correctly but anyways they,had posted a photo of their kitchen over,on the Facebook group and I was so,inspired so if it's you out there if,you're a glass manner out there I was so,inspired by your kitchen decor and,mainly the main info I got from it,there's a whole fall Vibe on top of the,counter or not counters cabinets like on,top of the cabinets there's a bunch of,leaves and decorations and I was just,all excited because I have space above,my cabinets to do that to decorate there,and I just have never done it and,oh okay my dishes are done thanks for,the song but I'm all excited to put the,stuff on top of the cabinets this year,so we're gonna start there and I'm gonna,start with the fall leaves let me let me,show you I got this stuff from Michaels,and I bought it on sale and okay those,of you out there that are like cool you,should have gotten it from Dollar Tree,I know I looked at the ones at Dollar,Tree and it looked like a string with,like one leaf on it and I need some real,orange yellow redness like real lots of,leaves anyways we're gonna take these,packages off well I guess I should see,if they're gonna work first of all so I,can return these in case they don't,um but I guess I could use them for,something else if not but what did you,um if you decorated your kitchen did you,do a theme or is it just Halloween in,general themed or I don't know what's,what I'm doing here,um or like what kind of thing did you do,let me know I don't know does that look,good I feel like this isn't really,showing like I kind of want some of it,to kind of come off and some of it to,kind of go back a little bit what does,that look like good,does it look really good I don't know,let's look all right that's what it,looks like I feel like it's not draping,over enough like you can't really see it,can you,oh,we're running this,over the top,oh,I don't like this,can do,that oh that looks nice,around the side,anyways I got some battery operated,twinkle lights because,I can't,turn every little twinkle light on,anymore I used to do it I did it until,somebody literally I'm so thankful for,the spooky family always pointing stuff,out because like otherwise I would have,gone through life,just turning on every single,jack-o'-lantern every single little,twinkle light possible until I realized,they have remotes you know,ones that you turn on from afar so I,don't have to climb up and almost die,every time I get on the counter and,light up these guys so I'm gonna put,some of these twinkle lights,in the one that doesn't light up this is,an OG Target jack-o-lantern that didn't,have any,electronic devices or batteries,basically to light it up I'll link these,in the description box for you because,they're,how the heck anyway putting this in the,mouth of the jack-o-lantern and then,that way,I can light it up with the touch of a,remote now we got to put them up,on top of the cabinets of Doom basically,but I don't know what I want to put here,yet in the center,the picture the inspo picture had a sign,there that was really cute but I don't,know that I have a sign or maybe I put,something else there like a,I don't know yet what we're putting,there but I think on the outer edges,we're going to put some just regular,decorations so I want to put some of,these jack-o-lanterns there,foreign,I might put this,oh God,I'm nervous,like,oh,well let's move on to the other side and,then we'll figure out what's in between,what do we think I have this little cute,little mummy guy,he looks so cute out there that little,mummy guy,does that look cute there,you like that but I feel like we need a,stand,I think it's cute it looks really good,it's gonna be too tall,is that too much is that too tall and,then maybe we put something right here,like there's a little bit of a space,there,I don't know what yet and then I think,over there we can put,a spooky house this spooky house,I don't even know if you can see what,I'm doing up here,because uh oh,let me see him bend down ever so,slightly,I put the spooky house up there I love,that okay there's definitely something,missing I don't know if I like that,ghosty there do you like that ghost,there or do we think another spooky,house like make it you know me and my,balance I also have this spooky house,right here this one is from Michael's,the other one I have uh Voltaire sent us,a couple years ago,it's a different vibe,but it's orange and it's a spooky house,we still need something right here,and I feel like it looks really good in,between the house and the jack-o-lantern,there's that Dead Space there I wanted,no pun intended uh but I was thinking,this witch and then it's gonna need a,pedestal but I like to keep my old,candle like any candles I burned or even,ones I haven't burned yet and use these,to kind of boost up different,decorations especially since on top of,the cabinet it kind of has this dip,everything seems to look like it's,sunken in so I just took some Museum,putty where's my museum putty I'll show,you what it looks like this,took some of this Museum putty and then,I stuck it on the bottom I'll link it in,the description box but if you have cats,or kids or you're afraid of something,being knocked down it's really good like,look at that it's not doing anything you,don't see the base of this anyways,you're just gonna see her so that the,witch would go perfectly up there though,what do you think all right so if you,think I'm gonna do a jack-o'-lantern,maybe just one Jack O'Lantern in the,center since I can't get a whole lot up,here,foreign,ERS hanging out,but what's that big space in the middle,right,what's that about,I thought about putting this big,cauldron there but it makes me nervous,to put it I mean we can try,but,it's not the worst I've ever seen that,little area is just hard to reach you,can always put some other things up,there up here,that's kind of cute with the cats okay,now I'm gonna do the other one we're,going for maximalist Halloween over here,anyway we're leaving it for now ouch I,haven't dropped anything yet knock on,wood,and not even myself okay it's between,this jack-o'-lantern Lantern guy and,this jack-o-lantern cauldron guy,I don't know if that one's gonna work,okay,what about this guy,now what's next,help all right we're moving on to here,last little bit,this pumpkin guy because it matches the,other side we're pretty much out of,everything I have this cake stand stand,up there,this guy on the other side,the phallic one,dangly leg guy in the middle,looks cute,okay I think I like that I don't know,what we're putting on the other side,y'all all right we're trying too hard to,make this guy work,this guy here,I just feel like he doesn't really,belong,we have,this,kind of,bag thing,this guy,and then put something taller,this,is that cute,a trick-or-treat I can't believe we went,through this whole thing without one,branchy to read,maybe we could add some,oh my God I'm not gonna be mad,no but this guy here,all right so we're gonna move on to the,rest of the kitchen just the countertop,area not really sure what I'm doing yet,but,we'll get there we'll just we'll play,around some things you know we always,figure it out I do think I'm gonna move,my coffee bar I have a camera right here,sorry about that I do think I'm gonna,move my coffee bar which is in the,corner I think we're gonna do this here,we're gonna do our very own special,spooky coffee bar it may end up being a,coffee slash adult beverage bar but I'm,not sure if we can fit in both so I,think I'm gonna do the spooky coffee bar,I'm gonna do that for members so if,you're a spooky family member uh that,will be up if it's not up already it,will be up shortly uh within the next,couple of days and then I'll do the full,on spooky coffee bar we'll put that,together uh and uh if you're not a,spooky family member,um I'll have the membership down in the,description box if you don't know what,I'm talking about it's basically like,patreon but here on YouTube and you get,a bunch of different perks all right so,we're gonna move all this stuff out of,the way and then we'll continue all,right so I think we're gonna start here,because I actually know what I'm putting,here I'm gonna put these jack-o-lantern,head guys that I got from TJ Maxx last,year uh Jack O'Lantern head witch hat,pedestal situation I'm gonna put this,next to the sink area these were on The,Mantel for our halfway to Halloween,mantle and they light up so I feel like,this is gonna look perfect here,so we're gonna put one on either side,also while we're over here I'm gonna put,my Mrs Meyer's apple cider scent hand,soap and the spray the all-purpose spray,this is my,um it's not my favorite my favorite is,the orange clove if you know you know,orange clove this is where our coffee,Corner was,there I have a couple options all right,hold on one second I gotta go get them,one option is this big old Jack,O'Lantern guy which I kind of like,what do you think about the big old Jack,O'Lantern guy would you really like him,too but that's kind of a big spot back,there so I feel like we might be able to,put,that Jack O'Lantern guy somewhere else,and,I usually have my Amazon thing plugged,in so I'm gonna put that where it,usually goes I can put my black and,white striped canisters which I normally,keep them there,because I don't like keeping too much,Decor by my stove just because I don't,want it to melt or get damaged or have,any splatters or anything I put this,little ghosty guy here because he's,close to the stove but not too close to,where anything's going to get them,maybe this tree,I don't know,this is weird about this little,area I feel like you need a,Jack-o-Lantern or something I don't know,how I feel about that I mean I like this,I just don't know how I feel about it,there there's also this pumpkin head,clown Guy where are my other pumpkin,head clown guys I found my pumpkin head,clown guy,I think it's kind of cute because it,kind of looks like a circus right,maybe like that and then something here,this guy's an option okay another option,is to put like a little sign,I have this one that says hold on let me,move this over a little bit,this is Hocus Pocus I don't know,I feel like I just need to move on okay,then here I love this witchy thing,for just a little,it's just like a little witchy,silhouette maybe some branchy trees back,there maybe if I put a branch tree back,here it'll kind of,fill in,some of that space back there how does,that look does that break it up a little,bit a little bit,like that,maybe another little ghosty over here,I don't know if you put a little,Cemetery here,and then we have our little spooky,corner there I feel like that's cute,that's cute okay we're on to something,now I also have my little Joanna Parker,salt and pepper shakers I got this year,uh from got these from Home Goods if you,saw the haul and I kind of wanted to put,them here,since it's kind of by my stove I can use,them I feel like there's a lot going on,but I don't mind the Halloween chaos I,kind of like the Halloween chaos look,I'm not gonna lie all right moving on,over here this is how it is all year,round with this skull guy,I like the skull guy,but there's not a lot of color and I,feel like we need to bring the orange in,you can put this guy here which I think,he works there I also thought about,moving this guy,somewhere else,these canisters by the way are from,Jonathan Adler um but I thought about,this guy,this,but I can also do to break it up,put the skull here,there's a spider carcass right there,I'll just let them rest there for,aesthetic purposes and then there we go,we can kind of put them by the knives,could do a branchy tree,that's an option,to kind of break it up I can do a little,bit of this,just kind of pull in you could do it,that way or,I can do,these guys,which I think are kind of cute these,little jack-o-lanterns it pulls more,jack-o'-lantern in I feel like we're,getting somewhere,all right I think we're done but we are,done decorating I'm so excited all right,I'm gonna show what the kitchen looks,like in the daylight so you can see,everything what it looks like what we,did all that kind of stuff then I'm,gonna show it lit up at night and it,looks so spooky I'm HALLOWEEN KITCHEN DECORATE WITH ME | NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS DECOR

hey guys welcome back to the channel oh,my gosh today we're doing a kitchen,decorate with me i always do my kitchen,in a nightmare before christmas theme,and i started with my tiered tray that i,put over in this little corner but i,realized that i'm literally blocking the,frame basically the entire time i'm,working on it so we're just gonna speed,kind of through this real quick and you,can see the final product because,um yeah you can't really see that what,i'm actually doing because i didn't um,frame it properly so sorry about that,but next up i moved over to the other,side of the counter,and i put my jack notebook over there in,the corner with his you know little,formula for christmas which is really,cute,and then i have a jack skellington,cookie jar but i always take the top off,and just store it in the cabinet and i,actually use it as a utensil holder to,replace the one i have here,which i absolutely love,um i keep the top just in case i ever do,want to use it as a cookie jar or,anything like that but i love using it,as a utensil holder for sure,so it just adds to the spooky look and,everything which is kind of the whole,point of this video wow i also have my,little spatula and spoon,um that kind of match the vibe more,nightmare before christmas kitchen,things i love it,next up moving to the other side of the,stove i have these three little ceramic,worms wart frogs breath and deadly,nightshade canisters from sally's little,cupboard of all of her,witchy,concoction stuff,so i just set these out,and put the package back together,because i do actually,save all of the packaging for this just,so i can keep it super protected and,also makes it really easy to pack away,um at the end of halloween boo,so i end up moving these later on but i,just unbox them and put them here just,to start,then i had to switch out the little rug,in front of the stove so i put that one,in the washing,pile and i put my everyday is halloween,rug out which i absolutely love,i love the green and purple vibes in,here i just feel like it's really fun,and different from the orange and black,that i do in the living room,this spot is over to the right of the,sink i actually still have not even,painted this wall right here it's just,bare drywall which is probably not good,but um,you know,house things they all add up you know,how it is so i decided to clean off this,counter a little bit because i noticed,it needed a little wiping down,so i was just spraying some windex and,wiping it to get it nice and clean,before i tried to style it for my,nightmare before christmas halloween,spooky decor,i'm really putting in some elbow elbow,grease here there definitely was um,something sticky there and now i can't,remember what it was,all right with the counter all clean we,can finally get to styling it,once again i'm blocking the frame you're,so welcome,so i have this really cute little,calendar clock looking thing um that,says how many days till halloween but,you can also set it to say how many days,until christmas which is fun um so i,just set that over in the corner with my,jack skellington cheese board again i'm,gonna move all this stuff around but i,like to just get everything out kind of,put it in general areas and then i kind,of nitpick and put things you know,exactly where i want them from there,so i also have these really gorgeous,jack and sally candlesticks that i got,from,um our candlestick holders sorry from,box lunch on clearance and they're so,cute i love them,but i actually want to get like real,candles to go in them i have some fake,black glittery ones,but i just feel like if i got some real,ones that would like take it to the next,level,then i put my little halloween town sign,above the stove,added the black sparkly candles into the,candlesticks like i was talking about,and decided i was going to restyle this,whole little area,i asked siri how many days there were,until halloween,but there is a slight problem with this,little calendar thing,there are a few dates here and there,that you cannot make with the,calendar um so it's a little bit,annoying i think that i'm looking for 90,days until halloween at this point but,um i don't think there were two zeros,or something like that but there are,like a couple there's not many but,there's like literally a few dates that,are like under 100 that you literally,cannot make with how they've done the um,like die if you call them that um so,yeah i put it to 91 instead of 90,because i couldn't find two zeros i,think,um which was unfortunate oh maybe i did,find a zero okay never mind,but there is a day i swear there was a,day recently that i was trying to do and,i could not,the numbers were not lining up there,weren't enough numbers so anyways um i,never actually hung these up last year,and um i absolutely loved them this year,so these are like some blinking,jack-o-lantern lights but they look like,the jack-o'-lantern that's at the very,beginning of nightmare before christmas,like you know what i'm talking about the,one that has like the kind of almost,toothy looking,smile like the scarecrow well it's jack,in his little costume or whatever but,you guys know what i'm talking about the,very beginning of spirit halloween at,the very beginning of nightmare before,christmas when he's like the scarecrow,and,the big pumpkin head you guys know what,i'm talking about i think so anyways i,hung these up these are from spirit,halloween and they have a couple,different settings you can have them,just stay on or you can also click a,button and they will blink which is,super fun so,i cleared out some of the extra spatulas,and stuff in,jack's head because i wanted to,stick the like battery pack part of this,in the back of it so it was nice and,hidden away and i really loved that i,did that so here i am just kind of,playing with the different settings and,seeing how the button works because i've,never actually unboxed these even though,i've had them for,since last halloween,and i just decided to turn them off for,now because with the blinking and,everything they were going to be,very distracting but i wanted to give,you guys kind of a look at them because,they're so,fun like i'm just i'm obsessed with them,they're so cool,then i brought the little calendar over,to,next to the stove because i just wasn't,vibing with sally's jars being,over there i didn't feel like the height,was like working well with jack and the,spatulas on the left side of the stove,so i decided to rework some stuff and i,ended up putting the candle sticks on,either side of the clock and putting,that on the right side of the stove um,i'll be honest i don't totally love it,but i like it better than what was there,before so we're gonna keep it and then i,used my jack,cheese board as kind of a display item,and then i put sally's jars on it,i don't get me wrong i absolutely love,this jack skellington cheese tray and,everything and actually like spins out,and has utensils underneath it,the only thing is that like the wood,vibe of it doesn't really match the rest,of my decor because the rest of my decor,is very like kitschy and like true to,the look of nightmare before christmas,so,i don't know i kind of feel like maybe i,just shouldn't have used it but it's,also so unique but also i completely,covered up his face so you can't even,tell that it's a,cheeseboard anyways so maybe this was a,completely lost cause and this was,really silly but oh well,i had some black leaves that had fallen,off of the bouquet that i typically put,in my living room like the spooky black,and purple bouquet so i actually used,those and opened one of the jars and,just stuck it in the deadly nightshade,and jar because i thought that would be,cute to kind of look like there was,something you know overflowing and,coming out of it i thought that was kind,of fun,so i really liked how this little little,corner of my kitchen turned out,then i moved on to my mug cabinet,because i actually needed to put all of,my spooky mugs away so i moved some mugs,up to the top shelf there to kind of get,them out of the way,and then i was just gently pushing them,back so i could move more mugs up to the,third tier,i don't really pull the mugs on the,third and fourth tier very often because,i can't really reach them well but every,once in a while i'll you know climb on,the counter and really rearrange so that,i can use my mugs,but for right now i don't really care,about any mugs except my halloween mugs,so those are the ones i'm going to be,using for the rest of spooky season so i,have my scary teddy mug and my zero mug,both of these are from spirit halloween,of course and i love them,i love figural mugs if you guys don't,know already i collect them so love them,this gorgeous blue and black kind of,iridescent looking mug i got in salem,massachusetts i have my oogie boogie,figural mug also from spirit halloween,as well as this adorable little cauldron,mug that was actually only five dollars,from target so target has some cute,halloween mugs,i have my dr finkelstein figural mug,again from spirit halloween you already,know,my little skull glass this is actually,from at home and that's like my go-to,water cup for the entire spooky season,my oogie boogie dice mug which is also,from spirit halloween shocker,this sally pumpkin mug which is from,target,gotta make a little bit more space and,i've got my jack pumpkin mug which is,also from target,i also have this gorgeous glass witch,house mug that i got when we visited the,witch house in salem last october,and the all the spooky mugs are put away,i also switched my soap dispenser for my,jack and sally soap dispenser and then i,started unpacking the dishware yes i'm,that extra i have halloween dishware i,do switch out my dishware because i,absolutely love these plates this entire,set is from target and it is seriously,stunning it's got a beautiful like,spider webby border and then jack and,celery are on the big plates um jack's,house is on the mini plates,oogie boogie is in the middle of the,bowls and then zero is on the front of,the mugs so super cute plate and dining,set,absolutely obsessed i took those over to,get washed just because they had some,cardboard on them,and then i put some of my oven mitts,away i hope you guys enjoyed this video,if well happy halloween everybody and,welcome back to my channel today i'm,going to be doing a kitchen decorate,with me where i'm going to transform our,kitchen into a wicked witch's little,spell kitchen started,so to get started i'm going to try,something i've never done i'm going to,put a piece of art up here i found this,a really incredible skull with all kinds,of gorgeous jewelry it gives me all,kinds of like coco chanel vibes but i'm,going to add this up above which i think,it turned out perfect it reminds me of,the santa clause i used during christmas,which i'm actually really excited to,start decorating for christmas but um,before we do that we gotta we got to,slow down and do a little bit more,halloween and definitely i'm gonna be,doing some fall stuff for thanksgiving,so definitely stick around on my channel,if you're getting,excited for those two holidays and if,you would like some inspiration so i'm,just gonna throw a couple little bats up,here and just give it a nice little,spooky vibe i also wanted to get all of,the things from the corners kind of,pulled back and then just kind of layer,on some pieces really remind me of which,is i'm going to use this vinegar and,olive oil and then i'm just going to,stack some little cauldrons and i've got,some sage and a couple other little,things just to kind of like if you were,a witch and this was your kitchen what,are all the spooky things you would have,to cast your spells,so in this corner i kind of wanted to,create like a little stockpot of all the,things which is might use like skulls or,maybe some bones i'm repurposing some of,the uh i've got a little bit of that,moss i'm just gonna kind of repurpose,and make it look like a spooky graveyard,and then just fill the cauldron up with,a bunch of bones i picked up at i think,i got these at either michael's or,target,i love how simple this turned out and i,especially love these little spiders,kind of coming out from beneath the,cauldron i think it looks really cute,you can't really be a witch if you don't,have little cauldrons to cook up your,spells in so i picked up these really,cute cauldrons i actually had them in my,cook with me for my halloween party,video definitely check that out i'll put,a link down below with um a link to that,video but anyway i'm gonna repurpose,those cauldrons and put them in here and,just kind of create a little spooky area,for um those to sit and then i'm gonna,be doing a tablescape which is my,favorite i was gonna do a giant,tablescape like i did last year but,honestly if you guys haven't seen that,video definitely check it out it's in,the links below it is so over the top i,didn't know how,i guess i do know how but i i didn't,want to try to over top that or kind of,compete with it it's just too good so,definitely go back and check that out,but i am going to be doing a tiered tray,which i didn't do last year so i wanted,to create a tiered tray that had all the,potions that a witch would need i went,on amazon and found the the set of like,these um colored candles i went and i,found a bunch of really cute little,they're i don't know what they're like,stones that which is used when they make,their spells so i'm going to add like a,little area for those and then tuck in,some skeletons and,some moss just to give it a spooky look,tell me in the comments down below do,you do tear trays,i don't do them for every holiday but i,do find them kind of fun and whimsical,for certain holidays but tell me the,comments down below if you use them,hey,these little jars of stones are so cute,they're pre semi precious stones i'll,link them down below just in case you're,looking for something like this for,whatever reason but i just think they're,super cute my girls love them too so i'm,sure they'll find a nice home with the,girls,so to kind of add on to the tiered tray,i want to do a little bit of like a,spooky village and kind of just what,what a witch would possibly have in her,kitchen so i'm going to be doing a nice,black crow inside,this little cage this this tablescape,ends up reminding me of the one i did,for st patrick's day tell me the,comments down below if you guys watch my,st patrick's day decorate with me when i,surprise my kids but i it really does,have so many fun intricate little parts,to it that i absolutely love how this,turns out i'm going to add this giant,crow to the top and then i'm also going,to add just kind of what would look like,maybe,the hocus pocus village and then just a,couple i have found these really cute,spiders i want to just add those all,over the tablescape plus it gives,something for the kids to play with,while they're waiting for breakfast we,usually just eat breakfast in here and,then i also have some really fun little,bats i'm going to add on here too,so for the table setting i'm going to be,using these really old kind of victorian,looking chargers i found on amazon,forever ago i'll try to find them again,it was a really long time ago and then,these really beautiful plates i found at,home goods they've got great skulls on,them and i also have a little,plate for their like toast and then a,bowl which i'll probably put like,oatmeal in or something for the kids in,the morning but i think this turns out,super cute i'm so happy i found enough,of each of these sets to be able to,complete this tablescape but i really,love how this turns out my husband loves,these plates he says we should use them,all the time but i think that'd be a,little weird,so for the napkins i'm just going to use,some basic little ribbons that i bought,from michael's a couple years ago and,i've just used them over the years for,different crafts but i did find a couple,bags of just a bunch of random like,bones and things from walmart and i,actually um prior to filming this i,spray painted them gold i thought it'd,be kind of fun to just tuck them in to,the,napkin just to kind of create another,element of spookiness but also a little,bit of glam,so for this area i wanted to create kind,of like a little snack bar of candy for,the kids during halloween and i'm also,going to be adding some of the leftovers,from our halloween party so i will,definitely link that down below so you,can see all the fun recipes i think i,did like 12 recipes that are fun to make,for halloween both sugary and,some that are savory as well but i just,took this tree again i used that in my,st patrick's day decorate with me but i,just added some bats on it and then i,filled all of these little canisters up,with i have eyeballs and some candy corn,and just a couple other little things,but i really think this turned out super,spooky the kids came home from school,and thought this was crazy and love all,the little intricate parts of is part two of my Halloween,decorate with me and today I am,decorating my kitchen,I had so much fun decorating the space,and cannot wait to share how cute,everything turned out,this is a look at my kitchen before I,start decorating for Halloween with all,my fall stuff out,I'm adding a few items to the fall Decor,that I already have out and then I,purchased a few new items to decorate,for Halloween with,I will try linking all the items that,I've used today down below in the,description so check that out if you,would like now it is time to start,decorating,foreign,baskets and that rack I already took,down a few Decor pieces that I will not,be using and then the rest I will be,adding to,like I said before this is one of the,first spaces you see when you walk into,my kitchen so I really like to decorate,it up,I found this cute Hocus Pocus sign at,Walmart so I'm just taking a placing up,here on this top basket,thank you,I'm taking the ceramic hint that I found,a Dollar General that I've had for a,while and just place it over here in the,corner I just love the color of it,and then I realize I need to bring it up,a little taller so I take this wood,piece and just put it underneath to make,it a little taller so you can see it a,little better,gosh,I'm adding in this acute black and,orange pumpkin and putting it right,inside the little Ramekin I believe that,I found this pumpkin at Dollar General,also,making this a black face that I found at,Dollar General I love the look of this,and I'm going to add it up here in the,corner,and then I'm taking these faux flowers,that I found at the Dollar Tree and,placing them inside,foreign,pumpkin candle holder I found at Walmart,I actually picked up a few of them and,used some in my dining area,but I'm just taking this one and placing,it up here over in this corner,cauldron mug I found a Dollar General,and I'm just placing over in the other,corner and then I am putting in a black,pumpkin and then adding some of these,pine cones inside that I found at Dollar,General that came in a bag so I picked,up some of these they have a little,glitter on them I just thought they're,pretty so I'm adding them inside The,Cauldron,this cute ghost Garland I found at,Dollar General and I am just taking it,and placing it on the little hook in,front of the cheese board,aren't these dish towels so cute I,picked them up on Amazon they came as a,pack of three and I just think they are,adorable,foreign,dish towel I am taking and hanging on,this rack and then I put the conversions,chart that I found at Target right on,top of it,I think down here turned out so cute,that little Garland with a ghost on it,and then the dish towel with the pumpkin,I just love it,foreign,foreign,this is what it looks like now that I am,done and I think it turned out so cute,it was fun just adding a few pieces to,the decor that I already had out and I,just love how it turned out,oh,I'm moving over here to my chicken wire,shelf and these are the items that I'm,going to be using on it,this chicken wire shelf I bought a,little while ago from Amazon they have,different colors in it and I chose this,one it is so fun to decorate and I'm so,excited to decorate it for all the,upcoming holidays,I really wanted to go all out on this,shelf and just decorate it for my kids,and make a fun a festive and I just love,how it ended up turning out,when I saw this happy Halloween sign at,Walmart I thought it was the cutest and,I had to grab it and I am just placing,it right in the middle,this mug I found at Walmart it says,focus on one side and focus on the other,and I'm just placing it over in the,corner,I found these mini Ray Den utensils at,Hobby Lobby they are on clearance in the,spring shop so I picked up one some of,black and some in white and they are so,cute so I'm just taking them and placing,them inside the mug,this little mini white pumpkin stand I,found at Dollar Tree and I am just,placing over here in this corner,this pumpkin Lantern I picked up a,Dollar General and inside was like a,bright yellow neon yellow almost and I,did not like it so I took some orange,and I painted it inside and now I love,it,this pumpkin waffle candle smells so,delicious I found it at Walmart I am,just taking it and placing it in the,front of the lantern,I'm just adding a few pumpkins and again,I picked up a bag of pumpkins at Dollar,General so I'm just taking them and,adding them right here in the front,this little plastic pumpkin jar I found,at Dollar General and I am just taking,it and I am placing some candy corn,inside let me know down below if you,like candy corn or not in my family it's,a mixture some love it and some do not,foreign,okay is this little ceramic ghost dish,the cutest I found it at Walmart and I,picked up two of them because I thought,they were so cute I'm just taking one of,them and placing it in front of the,happy Halloween sign,under this mug I decided to add a wood,piece so I can just bring it up a little,higher so we can see that mug better I,actually added two wood pieces to bring,it up High Enough,foreign,pumpkin dishes I found at Walmart and I,was so happy that they fit under here,perfectly and I did not have to do,anything to make them stay up or,anything at all so I was happy about,that,I found these a ghost he like candle,holders at Walmart and they were so cute,so I grabbed two of them and I'm just,placing them right in the middle,foreign,I'm taking this little orange pumpkin,and just placing it in the middle of the,ghost to bring in a little of that,orange color,foreign I love how this bottom turned,out I didn't want to do too much down,here so I'm really happy with how it,turned out,this little orange and black pumpkin,Garland I found at Dollar General and I,thought it'd be perfect to place right,up here around the top and I just love,it,now let's light this yummy smelly candle,and see how this chicken wire shelf,turned out,thank you,thank you,oh my goodness students this trial so,cute I am so in love with it and I think,my kids will love it just as much as me,over here I'm taking this jack-o-lantern,pumpkin jar it is ceramic and my husband,picked it up for me at Walmart,he thought I would love it and I do I,think it is the cutest so I'm just,placing over here in this corner and I,thought it would be the perfect space,for it,yes let's get spooky signed a Founder,Dollar General and I am just placing it,right over here next to the,jack-o'-lantern,foreign,I love how this corner turned out I,didn't want to do too much over here so,I'm really happy with how everything,turned out and I'm excited to add some,candy to that jar soon,on this little hook over here on my,cabinet I am taking this orange plaid,dish towel and placing it on the hook,and then adding in this cutting board,that I found at Dollar General a few,months back,thank you,over here on the counter next to my oven,I am keeping everything the same but I'm,adding in this fun sign that I found at,Walmart it says haunted Sweet Farm and I,just think it is so cute so I'm just,adding it right here in the front,foreign,foreign,and adding it to my oven,now on this top cabinet above my,microwave I am adding in some bats,I found these on Amazon they came in a,package with a lot in them and they have,different kinds so you just take them,and you put the little sticky on the,back and then place them wherever you,want,I love how these bats turned out I think,they're so fun and they bring a little,Halloween up here on my cabinet,I think this corner turned out so cute,it is not too much but it is a perfect,amount of Halloween,over here in this corner I'm going to,place this tear tray and I'm going to,decorate it for Halloween,this last drinking jar I picked up at,Dollar Tree a few months ago and I'm,taking it and placing these at paper,straws that I found at Dollar General,inside,I'm just adding in this simple pumpkin,over here in this corner and then I'm,going to add this pumpkin jar that I,found at Walmart,this 3D Halloween spider confetti I,picked up at Walmart and I thought they,would be fun to put inside this jar,aren't you so gross but so cute at the,same time,this wood beaded Garland I picked up,from Amazon a little while ago so I'm,just placing it right here up at the top,down here I'm taking this haunted house,Decor piece that I found at Walmart and,placing it right here down at the bottom,I'm taking this wood orange tag sign,that says October 31st and I am just,placing it right in the middle,I'm adding in this a little black,jack-o-lantern tealight candle holder,I found them on Amazon they came as a,pack of six and they each have different,faces on them they are so fun I used a,few of these in my dining room when I,decorated my table so if you have not,checked that video out go and check it,out my dining room Halloween decorate,with me,I'm taking this wood piece and adding it,in so I can bring up the jack-o'-lantern,a little so you can see it better,I'm taking a few pumpkins and adding,them down here at the bottom to fill it,in a little,foreign,this canister I found at a local thrift,store a few months back and I painted a,light and I'm just going to add it down,here and then put a pumpkin aside,I'm adding a few pine cones down here at,the bottom I just love the look of them,and they are gray fillers,foreign,this little pillow that I found at,Dollar General that says trick-or-treat,I'm just taking and placing back in the,corner,down here at the bottom I decided to,switch the white canister and the,haunted house to opposite sides and I,think it just looks better after,finishing the top,foreign,decorating this tear tray and this is,how it turned out sometimes doing a tear,tray can be very overwhelming at first I,wasn't going to put a chair tray here,because I just couldn't come up with,something cute on here so I was going to,do it but then I added it back in and I,am so happy with how it turned out,foreign,foreign,I picked up this black feather wreath on,Amazon so I'm going to open it and try,it out on my pantry door,foreign this is what it looks like now,that it is up and I just love it I love,those feathers and I love the black I,think it is perfect for Halloween,it is time now to start decorating my,table but first I'm going to clean it,off using this Myers apple cider cleaner,it smells so delicious,my kids are so excited for Halloween,hopefully this next week we can go out,and do some shopping and get some new,costumes,I wanted to share a cute picture of my,kids last year for Halloween minus one,kid because he is a little older so he,is no longer doing the trick-or-treating,but here they are they are just so cute,I'm starting out with this plaid black,table runner that I've had forever and,just adding it to the center of the,table,this cute tray I'm just placing right in,the middle and then going to add some,faux flowers and a little milk jug right,over here on the side,I am usually not into witches very much,for Halloween I have never had one but I,saw her at Walmart and I just had to,pick her up,I don't know what it is about her I just,thought she was fun and cute and not too,scary so I just placed her right in the,middle of the tray to be honest she is,the second one we have picked up because,the first one my kids would not put down,and it accidentally broke,this witch's brew candle I found at,Dollar Tree and I just thought it would,be perfect right up front next to the,witch,this little catch jar I picked up along,with that pumpkin jar that I used on my,chair tray and I'm just taking it and,placing it right here in the back with,some candy corn inside,I think this turned out so fun and I,just love that it ended up being a witch,theme and I didn't even plan for that so,I am just happy and I love it,and then decorating everything and I'm,going to finish everything off by,lighting this yummy smelly,jack-o-lantern candle that I picked up,from Walmart,foreign,I love so much how everything turned out,it is still so warm and cozy with those,little touches of Halloween added in,I love so much how the side turned out,over 🎃 HALLOWEEN DECORATE WITH ME 2021 | KITCHEN PART 1 | VINTAGE COTTAGE DECORATING IDEAS! THRIFTED

hi everyone i'm missy welcome to my,channel in today's video we are going to,be decorating my kitchen for halloween,and i cannot tell you,how excited i am to kick off this,decorating series happy october to you i,hope that you are having a great fall so,far,we love halloween our son was born on,the 27th of october and so we have,always just really enjoyed halloween and,i do feel like halloween itself has a,very ancient vintage vibe already so i'm,excited to get into this decorating,series i will be sharing these videos,with you throughout the month of october,and then at the end of the month either,on halloween or just before i will share,a full house home tour so if all of,these sound like videos that you would,enjoy we would love for you to stick,around and join our family but i'm just,so happy and thankful that you have,decided to watch this video today i,really appreciate it we are going to be,decorating the kitchen and at the end,i'm going to be making some binks,cookies some black cat inspired cookies,for our black cat catch so i hope you'll,stick around for that at the end of the,video i really just hope that you love,the video that it gives you some ideas,and some this monster mug that my,son got for me,i love this mug,and thanks to my awesome dear friend,jennifer she sent me this shirt here,that says mobster so i've got my mug in,my shirt thank you so much jennifer i am,all set and ready to kick off my,decorating videos for halloween,we're gonna go ahead and start in the,kitchen today decorating these two,shelves right here now this is my,favorite place right now to decorate in,my home so i'm really excited to add,some halloween touches and what i'm,going to do is you're going to see a mix,of things i've had from last year some,new thrifted antique vintage decor from,this year and some things from target,and some diy so it's going to be a great,mix of a bunch of different type of,decor so i really hope it does give you,some ideas for your home so we're going,to go ahead and get started today and,we're going to be placing,these books right here on the shelves,first now i got these last year from,home goods and i'm going to be placing,these ones right here on this end of the,shelf right here,the bigger book and then the smaller,book,because we're going to build a little,vignette here at the end i like doing,little vignettes because i feel like it,just makes it easier to decorate to do,it in little sections rather than,looking at the hole and then to balance,it out i'm going to go ahead and put,this book right up here now i had,something similar done for my decorate,with me for fall i had my cookbook up,here and so i really like the look of,that and i just want to kind of balance,out these books so i'm going to go ahead,and add these two books here that i have,thrifted this orange one and this black,to add in that halloween look,and i'm just going to slide them,right here,the side of this book right here and,also kind of just create a little,vignette on this side of the shelf this,little beauty right here was a target,dollar spot fine last year and then i,just put these skulls that i had in,there from last year as well,and i'm just going to be placing these,up on the stack of plates just to give,it a little bit more height here on the,edge and then we're going to go ahead,and put one more piece here to kind of,balance out this end of the shelf and,then we'll move up to the top edge of,the next shelf,okay what i'm going to do now is i'm,going to add my iron stone pitchers i,had them up here for fall and i put some,different things in them for halloween,some black sticks,some greenery right there and then in my,little iron stone pitcher i have like a,little,skull hand so what i'm going to do now,is i'm going to put my three pictures up,here on this corner right here and then,that way i have balance on all four of,my corners,all right you guys know i love,decorating with doilies i have mentioned,that several times and so what we're,going to do is we're going to take this,doily right here and we're going to,place it on top of these books right,here and just kind of finish this space,off,just add a little texture right here,on top,and try not to get too perfect with it,the more perfect i have found that you,try to be the more frustrated you get,and you just don't like how it looks it,doesn't need to be perfect it's not,meant to be perfect so just put it on,there and just kind of let it go,now on top of that doily i'm going to be,placing this clock now i love this clock,i shared this in my fall decorate with,me and i had to keep it as part of my,halloween so we're going to go ahead now,and just place this clock,up here,on this doily again don't try to get too,perfect with it and just create this,really cute little vignette right here,and now we're just going to go ahead and,fill in the rest of this little space,right here i have a super awesome piece,i'm calling it my black flame candle now,i'm not going to light it today i'm,going to save that for the home tour but,i found this little,oil lamp it is the perfect size and i'm,going to be like i said calling this my,black flame candle so we're going to be,putting that,right up here on some plates to kind of,give it just a little bit more height,wow,the next piece that we're going to put,on the shelves i had thrifted actually,to use for christmas i had seen some,people on instagram use these and put,lights in there and then it kind of,shines through the stars right here so i,was really lucky to find one when i was,out thrifting one day but i thought well,why wait i could go ahead and use this,for halloween so i'm going to be really,careful though because i got this,skeleton guy here kind of hanging off of,there i got him from i believe target,but he doesn't have any legs i had to,take the legs off to fit him in there so,not to scare anybody or little kiddos he,doesn't have any legs so he's just,hanging right there but i thought he,would be cute peeping out and then down,inside here i actually have some battery,operated lights and what i will do is at,the end of this video i will kind of,share everything all lit up because i,think that makes halloween decor so much,nicer i love all the lights so i will,definitely be sharing that with you at,the end so you will be able to see how,this is lit up so i'm going to go ahead,and use this on my shelf right here,just to kind of try to fill in this,space right here,and i have a couple here this one here i,got from the target dollar spot this,year,and we're going to go ahead and kind of,set him back here on the back,since this is a tall one,and we might have to play around with,these just a little bit and then the,next one that i have is this one here,and i got it from the target dollar spot,this year now these came empty i simply,purchased some sand and put those in the,bottle just to give it a little bit more,color now i would have liked to have,changed these labels out to something,maybe a little bit more vintage but you,know what there's only so much time and,i really want to get the decorations out,and enjoy them and just enjoy the beauty,of the season so i just went ahead and,left them the way that they were i,thought those would look just fine,so,okay so is that one let's put that one,right here,and then this one here,i got this year from the target dollar,spot as well,these were a dollar a piece,and then i just put some black sand into,this one,and i think i will put it here,so that it's kind of down here in the,front a little bit,and then the last bottle that i have is,this one here that says spider venom,and i put like some darker,gold sand and that one and we'll just,kind of put it,up here,i think that is looking really,cute and spooky and then the last jar,that i have is this one here and i got,it from target dollar spot this year and,then the bones that are inside of it i,just got from target this year as well,and i just put them in there just to,kind of add some variety so i have one,that's empty one with sand or some with,sand and then this one here has the,bones which went really well with the,skeleton here and the skeleton hand up,top so i wanted to kind of add another,little bit of that,here,on the shelf to kind of bring that all,together full circle,i think we are good guys so let's go,ahead now and we'll decorate this and,then we'll look at it all done,wow,so,oh,all right we're going to go ahead now,that we have the shelves done and we're,going to move to this little stand right,here now i think this can be a really,great piece for decor so what we are,going to do today is use more of my cast,iron skillets i used one over there on,the rod and i'm going to go ahead,and use this one here,thrift with me and i had not thought,when i got these about using them for,halloween but i think these are great,unique vintage halloween decor so we're,going to go ahead and start by putting,these up here in this top shelf right,here,i have this book right here in my,collection and when i came across it i,thought it would be great to go with,these cast iron skillets because it says,on the side winona of the campfire,and i really thought that would be great,to kind of go along,with that so i'm going to go ahead and,take this book right here and i'm going,to use it as a riser for this black crow,and i got this this year at the target,dollar spot,and we're going to go ahead and we will,decorate the bottom down here and then,kind of to fill the space in because i,feel like i just don't have enough decor,yet or the best idea of how to decorate,this i'm going to throw over some creepy,cloth when we're done so let's go ahead,and finish the bottom and keep our,fingers crossed and how this is all,going to turn out,you'll remember if you follow me on,instagram that we went to antiques in,the woods in columbiana ohio and we saw,a really neat idea with the insulators,and i have been wanting and wanting to,try it and i thought how great to do,this for halloween so i've got my,insulator here and i'm adding a tea,light a battery operated tea light,underneath of this and it's going to be,so pretty in the dark,cool,so,uh,oh,i have you off the tripod here for just,a second because it's just easiest to,film this little part right here with,the camera in my hands now i wanted to,say that this is that cheese grater that,i have hanging here and i went ahead and,i put the lights in there,and i will show you kind of where those,are at,and how i operate them and i went ahead,and put the sticks in there as well,because i just had the hardest time,getting the lights and the sticks and,everything to stay in there it is in,there now but i wanted to show you what,i did and to let you know,and then instead of hanging a hand towel,off of the bottom like i did last time i,am going to make it a little bit more,creepy for halloween,and we are going to use,this cobweb right here kind of like,that's been hanging up there for a long,time so there is no towel anymore,because everybody has moved out and it's,just covered in cobwebs i guess the,spiders have moved in then i'm going to,show you this here with the lights,because i had a lot of people asked last,time so there you can see the wire right,there these are battery operated so this,is our cabinet right beside of it and i,just basically have,the wire running,down through right there,to the controls now this one is really,nice because it has a lot of different,settings and it has a timer so i don't,have to get in here all of the time,we're going to go ahead now and just,finish off this side of the kitchen with,a few touches and i've mentioned this,before i do like to try to keep my,countertops pretty cleaned off because,we do not have a lot of countertop space,so we really need the space to,cook so we're just going to add a few,halloween touches and one way that i,really like to do that to my sink is,with soaps and i just got this one here,from bath and body works and it's called,vampire blood,so we're going to just go ahead and add,this to the sink area just to add a,little bit of halloween,there and that's just enough for me on,the sink and then over here you'll see i,still have my gooseberry patch,homemade harvest cookbook i'm going to,go ahead and leave that up i don't have,a cookbook for halloween i don't know if,they even make one so i'm just going to,go ahead and leave that one up there,because it's still fall and i still,really enjoy that now the next thing,we're going to add is a diy project that,i shared recently on my instagram ohio,vintage home if you do not follow me,there it's really cute i shared this,piece though on the channel here it was,a little kitchen cabinet that had,roosters on it and i decided to turn,that into something for halloween so if,you will remember i'll go ahead and i'll,share a before picture right here so,that you can see the before if you,missed it but i turned it into this,little cabinet right here for halloween,it's kind of like an apothecary cabinet,so i painted this with black chalk paint,distressed it printed some printables,off of etsy i have a little key we're,going to put on here in some target,little potion bottles from last year,on our stove in the kitchen we have a,noodle board and we have this on there,because of our fur babies they tend to,be bad and get up on our counters so we,have that noodle board on there to keep,our stove covered so we do have to move,that every day to cook so i don't like,to put a lot of things on there for the,season but i do like to put something,and what i'm going to be putting on,there for halloween just might be my,favorite piece i have ever thrifted and,it is this little cauldron right here,this,is so heavy it is cast iron it is so,heavy i can't even say it how heavy it,is but it is absolutely beautiful look,at the gold on there,and on the sides so it is stunning so,this little beauty is going on my noodle,board and it will be really easy because,it's just one item to move and it just,will look so cute,just standing alone there on its own,because it is such,a substantial awesome piece so that's,going to go on the noodle board now,above the stove we have a little shelf,and i'm going to be showing you here,what i'm going to be putting up there,this time i will still be using my,little farm fresh from ray dunn but this,time i have these little,dryer balls in here and i got these from,the target dollar spot this year,and i got them because i was wanting to,add like in some bingo balls for,halloween decor and the closest thing,that i could find were these and i think,that they work out perfectly i'm going,to have them in my living room as well,so i thought i would add some in here,and then you'll see i've got,lucky number 13,right there so these are going to go on,top the shelf,right here above where my stove is again,just keeping it,simple but adding little,touches,of halloween so i think that all looks,really cute and then we're going to add,some towels to the front of the stove,now i am not crazy at all about these,towels these are just basic black and,white towels,and reason being is because i cannot,find cute halloween hand towels anywhere,i don't know if i'm just having the,problem are you having problem finding,halloween decor,or hand towels in general let me know,down in the comments because i have not,had hardly any luck and i have even gone,to like home goods tjs and all of that i,don't know if i just went too late,but we're just going to be sticking with,plain black and white and that's okay,because it goes with halloween but i,would like to have had something just a,little bit cuter,so,cool,so,hey oh look at cats then,i know say hello kitten that's gonna be,a wrap on my first decorating video for,halloween i really hope that you enjoyed,it and that it gave you some HALLOWEEN KITCHEN DECORATE WITH ME | EASY HALLOWEEN DIYS

hey everyone and welcome back to my,channel,for those of you that are new welcome my,name is veronica and i'm a wife and mama,from las vegas,and i make videos for mamas and,homemakers and all things cooking,cleaning and decorating today we are,going to be decorating my kitchen,and coffee bar for halloween i hope you,love this video as much as i do and if,you do,make sure you hit the thumbs up button,for me and don't forget to subscribe so,you don't miss any of my future videos,today i'm starting off by redecorating,my little desk here right next to my,kitchen first i'm going to give it a,good wipe down,using my favorite mrs meyer spray the,apple cider scent i just cannot get,enough of,and i'm going to keep it super simple,i'm just going to use,a little target dollar spot sign as well,as a little broom i picked up there,earlier this year and moving into the,kitchen,the only place i really decorate,counter-wise is,this corner here as well as a small,place on my kitchen island i do a little,vignette,just to keep it nice and simple i like,to keep my kitchen,functional because i do use it every,single day,morning noon and night,it only took one kiss to know that,you're everything in me,everything i mean,so tell me now because,when i'm decorating it's always really,important for me to give everything a,very good wipe down,so that's what i'm doing here before i,get any of the decor out,i was planning my fall decor i was on,the hunt for all things copper,and i couldn't find anything lo and,behold,now that i'm no longer on the hunt i am,finding pieces left and right,like this beautiful copper cake stand i,picked this up over at michael's,it's a part of their thanksgiving line,but i could not say no,so i'm going to utilize that here in my,decor,yeah everything about you,is the reason i can't spend one more,day without you,oh so tell me girl,cause i really wanna know,just be wild,i love decorating with different sizes,and shapes of cutting boards,unfortunately sometimes they can't,become a little bit difficult,but i do think that they add such a,level of,depth to any space and they help anchor,any decor you are using,so here i'm actually using a marble,cutting board,to anchor this skull as well as,the wooden cutting boards to anchor all,of the vignette,i've never felt like this what are you,doing to me,so do i,so the next thing i'm going to do is,just really quick,decorate this little candle stand and,i'm going to do that by using,some glue dots that are removable and,some fake spiders,so i'm going to go ahead and add glue,dots to the spiders and have it look,like they're walking up the candle stand,just to give it a little bit more of a,creep factor,this is such an easy way to add a little,bit of,halloween flair to even some of your,normal pieces,like i utilize cake stands all over my,home,for my farmhouse decor so i figured it,was a cool way to implement those here,as well,i'm here and i'm waiting but,i know i can't say that we didn't end it,for good reason still i'm hoping we'll,be meeting soon,so the next thing i'm going to show you,are some diy,spider nest wreaths i am actually making,a miniature version,of the larger wreath that i made in,another video which i will go ahead and,link up in the corner for you as well as,down below,but this is a super easy way to make a,wreath you just need these grapevine,wreaths,some fake spider web as well as some,faux spiders,has the grapevine wreaths have the twigs,that are sticking out it makes it,really easy to get the spiderweb to,attach,so all i'm doing is stretching the,spiderweb to make it look,like it is a real spider web and,possibly like a nest of a spider,i'm wrapping it around and just making,it,as stretched out and spider webby as i,possibly can,once that is done i'm going to go ahead,and add on my fake spiders,and i like to put them sporadically,around to try to make it look as natural,as i can,cause without you everything stops,these little wreaths would be perfect,for my armoire,right here so i'm just going to attach,them by using some twine,and i just think they made it so cute,and creepy,all at the same time,oh,and now i want to show you another,really easy,but also creepy diy we are going to go,ahead and create,our own potion bottles i grabbed these,bottles over at michaels,they ranged anywhere from a dollar to,three dollars,and i printed these labels off of the,internet for free,i just googled vintage potion bottle,labels and they popped up in a pdf,i will go ahead and link that down below,for you so you can use the same ones if,you're interested,but i am going to go ahead and start off,by cutting all these labels out so that,i can figure out which ones i want to,use with each bottle,ever since i got a good look in his eyes,i just knew that,he was special he said he wanna take it,slow but i couldn't help that i wanted,to take it to the next level cause i,wanted that great love like standing in,the middle of a bone,fire you don't know how you got that but,you hold,tight knowing that you can't get burned,just tell me,shifting away from each,i have to deal other it but it's not,easy so tell me how to,let go cause you really seem to know,how to carry on,attach them i am going to use some mod,podge,so i'm just using a foam sponge brush to,put the mod podge on the bottle first,add on the paper,and then i do another coat of mod podge,on top just to make sure,it sticks and doesn't go anywhere,away from each other,and i have to deal with it but it's not,easy so tell me,it's one a.m and i ain't tired i can,stand right here and talk all night if,you want i ain't got no place to be,no one's waiting for me i won't lie i'm,into you,got like a million ideas what we could,do,and here is a look at the bottles now,that all the labels are on,and now we're going to go ahead and use,some paint to,make them look even creepier,for this project i decided to use both,gray,and black chalk paint to,kind of dirty up the bottles and make,them look used,so i'm just doing a quick dry brush of,the gray,over some of the bottles and some of,them i did decide to keep clear just,because i thought,it would look cool to have multiple,textures,and looks on each of the,just bottles about your voice i think,that every word you say to me is like,poetry,i just want you for my own it's really,easy to tell that you're the best girl,i've ever known,i don't care about what we do if i get,to be with you,what you want to do,me with the black paint i was trying to,splatter it,and epically failed when my brush hit,the ball,hit the bottle instead so i decided to,go ahead and spread that out a little,bit dry brushing wise,to make it just look smudged and dirty,and i was actually,quite happy with how this bottle turned,out,so after my mishap i did decide to add a,little bit of water to the paint so that,i could splatter a couple more,i wish i had a little more time with you,baby,overall i was super impressed with how,these bottles turned out and i loved,them all so much,unfortunately my bondos bottle became a,victim of my cat when she jumped on the,table,and it shattered on the ground and it,was just heartbreaking,but the rest of them remain and i love,them all so much,so now we are moving on to the coffee,station i am quickly,taking all of the fall decor down and,i'm gonna go ahead,and give everything a wipe down before,we get started with the decor,so the look i want to go for on my,shelves above my coffee station,is like a witch's apothecary so i want,to make sure to use all of my potion,bottles just to make it look like,that is where she would brew all her,potions,i am so excited for some of these,bottles especially these two,they're brand new my husband grabbed,them for me at tuesday morning i just,love the detail so to get this look,i'm really going to layer and try to,break up the like bottles just because i,don't want it to look like there's a,rhyme or reason,i just have a feeling in a witch's,apothecary they would,just throw things back up there when,they're done,mixing their creepy concoctions,just,but then i found something i knew,just like,gradually fades away,and the pain that you're feeling,gradually fades away because,that's what my mama said,that's what my mama,i want to be there and baby dance,i really love my collection of potion,bottles it has really grown over the,past couple of years,i have a collection of some diys as well,as store-bought but overall i just love,how these potion models are turning out,and i just love how they turned out in,this little space,now that my little witch's apothecary is,all set up i'm gonna go ahead and clear,out my tiered stand here,to get it all decked out for,free and halloween you will find a very,smarter life than,being pretty honey let's just face it,you can do better let me show you what a,good time looks like you can't do better,so much better,i'm decorating my tiered stand i do like,to try to keep it,functional as well as aesthetically,pleasing,so i do include things like little candy,jars as well as some of my coffee,accessories,and i will even include the coffee cups,that we truly use,so for halloween i have these beautiful,jack-o-lantern coffee cups that we'll,use,throughout the season and those will be,on this tray as well,kick your shoes off don't hide it,i don't fit into your bars,for my kitchen island i do want to use,this beautiful,tiered spiderweb tray this was one of my,very first pieces of halloween decor,my mom and i purchased this when we used,to host,halloween bunko night at our house but i,just love this piece because it is not,only,beautiful but it has a lot of memories,for me,so on the bottom i like to keep a,trick-or-treat bowl so i can throw candy,in it throughout the season that people,can help,themselves to and on the top i like to,keep it decorated so here i'm just,trying out a few things,i did decide that this wasn't working,for me the little boo sign kept falling,over,so i decided to move that and put things,in a different order,from,and just the last couple steps to finish,up my kitchen i decided to put these,skeleton hands in my utensil croc,and change out my dish towels for some,adorable festive halloween ones,i am very happy with how my kitchen,turned out this year for halloween,it was simple yet classy and it the tear tray with if you guys,can follow me for a while then you know,i typically will have a theme in my head,that i want you know to put on the tear,tray but i don't know how the tear tray,is going to turn out so on this front,side i usually have two things for those,of you guys that are new on the front,side i'm thinking to do like ghosts i,have these cute ghost mud pie salt and,pepper shakers i have this cute ghost,mug that came from target and then i,have this little guy which i don't know,where it came from i can't remember and,then i have this ray done boo mug so,i'll put those on this side and then,i'll just do filler and i'm using this,garland that i cut up into pieces i use,it all over my house you guys know that,i get it from hobby lobby and then i,also have some of this,like spooky mesh and then on the,opposite side of the tear tray i'm going,to keep my hocus pocus theme i have a,hocus pocus re done mug there goes that,hat and then i just have some which,pieces so these are witch's hats but,they're actually salt and pepper shakers,and then i have this little,this little pail,i have this i smell children sign that i,made last year and then for more filler,i have a bunch of pumpkins,you and i have lots of love just to top,it off,we can wind it up for days never let it,stop i just want your everything baby,maybe later we can dance never let it go,listen to our favorite songs on the,radio,losing up and lose ourselves to this,feeling oh i just want your everything,baby,i'll be deep under your influence,tonight,for those of you that are new here in,each one of question a couple weeks ago on,instagram if anybody was planning on,taking their kids trick-or-treating and,literally it was split 50-50 so there's,no right or wrong answer you do whatever,is best for you last year our kids,didn't get to go trick-or-treating,clearly so we are thinking about doing,it but i'm just not sure if anybody is,actually going to be passing out,that this candy,just you,am i there,and yours too,in my plan,just you,just you,i did it wrong and you did it right,that's what you said when,when i first started decorating the,shelf i had literally no idea how it was,gonna turn out i didn't even know what i,was gonna do with it but i absolutely,love how it turned out,out of silence,i,y'all know i have issues right because,as i'm sitting here editing this i'm,looking at the halloween decor and all i,can think about is christmas like slow,down shanty we have two more weeks so,i'm just forewarning you guys you will,be getting my christmas videos early i,typically put them out like the second,week of november i'm really thinking,about putting it out the first week of,november just so i can admire the,christmas decor as long as possible it's,a lot of work to decorate and i just,want to get my times worth if that makes,sense,stay alive because i feel ready,how many of you love watching,beetlejuice when you're younger i did i,absolutely love beetlejuice my favorite,halloween movie probably like so many,others is hocus pocus but hocus pocus,beetlejuice edward scissorhands,adam's family those are my favorite let,me know down below what is your
