that is worked with teams,like amazon disney shopify and more so,let's dive right in hey it's najib from,teamland i know what you're thinking,halloween,how can we make it more engaging,especially if you're looking for a,virtual halloween team bullying activity,there are several options but first,we've got to realize what are the,crucial elements of the halloween team,building activity well one we have to,understand when it comes to halloween,team building it's towards the middle of,the,end of the year so that means people are,coming right after the summer break and,at the same time they're perhaps,stressed maybe they're thinking about,the holidays maybe they're thinking,about hitting their q4 goals,having said that when you're thinking,about team building activities whether,it's just for halloween or just for,october team building you want to keep,in mind a few different factors,one of the first things you want to,think about is,what is the goal what's the goal of the,halloween team building is it just to,really celebrate or,is it simply to have fun is it to get to,know each other or is it really to learn,something there are different goals of,team building activities and that's the,first thing you want to think about to,make a fantastic halloween team building,activity and by the way before i forget,stay tuned towards the end of the video,as i have a bonus tip that'll workshop or just,having a contest allows everyone to,really get the pumpkin and have it be,something interactive especially since,everyone's virtual this allows everyone,to really come together and if you want,to do it in the office you can kind of,bring all the pumpkins give everyone the,tools,and everyone can kind of do the same,thing and there is a voting that can,happen and the pumpkin carving contest,it could be a theme it could be let's,say the company logo or a another theme,like mansions or something else that,would really engage everyone to create a,pumpkin carving that is representative,of the theme and becomes a fun team,building activity for halloween,number two is decorating now you can,decorate your office you can decorate,your desk or you can simply decorate,your zoom background now a lot of people,might be using their video chat and you,can encourage people to address up for,the halloween now there is the costume,contest is one but the other is really,decorating the space now if you don't,want people to necessarily dress up you,can ask them to decorate their,background change their background or,perhaps,change their elements and things in the,background so for example in my case i,have a whole bunch of bookcases here so,what i could do is decorate it and show,up in our calls,but that is virtual if you want to do a,halloween team building in person then,you can ask everyone to dress up their,desks and that becomes a fun way to keep,everyone engaged and everyone walking,around and exploring each other as well,as meeting each other is a fantastic way,to get everyone excited and to keep,things a bit more lively and engaging,towards that time of the year number,three is murder mystery murder mystery,well if you have never seen or if you,don't know what murder mystery is it's,basically when you have a whole bunch of,people,they're in a scenario and a setting and,they're trying to figure out who died,and who was the killer or in this case,the murderer now they could be different,themes for murder mystery,and you could do it virtually and in,person now if you want to do a virtual,murder mystery for halloween team,building activity you want to think,about a few different factors what is,the platform and who is the host as well,as what is the storyline because every,person is going to have their tips,as well as resources to host your,virtual murder mystery for the halloween,team building the other thing to kind of,keep in mind is because it is a murder,mystery,the more people you have the longer the,time becomes so if you're trying to keep,it within an hour to hour and a half you,want to be aware of the time and you,want to be aware of the number of people,that are in attendance because,the challenge is once you have more,people it's going to increase in time,the other thing to kind of keep in mind,is with the murder mystery everyone's,really engaging and everyone needs to,participate so if someone you feel is,not really going to be engaging,throughout the actual event then it's,probably best not to,add them or give them an important,character but apart from that together and to escape in time and,has the spirit of halloween now with a,virtual murder mystery,compared to a virtual halloween escape,room there are two different factors you,want to kind of keep in mind one with an,escape room some people can be passive,and not really be into it and then that,way the whole team is able to move,forward whereas with murder mystery if,someone is passive and they have an,important character the plot might not,move progressively as equally so you,want to kind of keep in mind by having a,virtual escape room it becomes an a,simple way for everyone to really move,forward even though someone might have,to answer a call last minute and this,can be in different themes you can have,a halloween theme you can have a heist,team you can have a holiday team there,are different types of,team building,for the virtual escape room and you know,you could do it yourself you could get,someone like teamland to do it who has,different themes but in the end a,virtual escape room is great and you can,kind of fit it within 30 minutes all the,way to two hours and it's very adaptable,and there are different levels that,allows everyone to really stay and,vote for the best creepy treats for,halloween and,totally up to you if you want to give,them,a week to bake it or a month and,everyone votes for that either ways it,becomes a fun way now if you want to,combine this with a charitable effort it,could be in a way where the,winner of the,baking contest they get to decide what,charity,that the company will donate to and this,becomes a way to not only give back but,also everyone to stay engaged now this,becomes a fun and simple way to keep,everyone engaged and have some sweet,treats at the same time next up,halloween team building games now these,are what you would look for if you're,looking for something that is very,lighthearted but that can involve,everyone now these,can be more inclusive such as a trivia,game,or even a bingo game or hey y'all welcome to my channel this,week's video every Monday Wednesday and,Friday is gonna be a different list,video of like different Halloween,costumes so this video obviously is,going to be work appropriate at,Halloween costumes my work does a,Halloween costume contest and the winner,obviously wins a prize I'm very,competitive and I want to win this thing,I work with a bunch of like older people,so a lot of these are kind of silly,things that like older people would,understand each video I do I have 31,costume ideas because there's 31 days in,October and Halloween is on 31st he,likes looking out the window first one,is Where's Waldo and I think this one is,really easy because you can just wear,like black jeans or like regular jeans,whatever and just like a red and white,striped shirt and maybe some what are,they called suspenders if you want it,and maybe a beanie and I have a pair of,glasses that look just like well not,just like but I have a pair glasses that,look very similar to Where's Waldo and I,feel like a lot of people would,understand that one I googled a lot of,ideas on like Pinterest and stuff and I,saw people be like the pink energizer,bunny or whatever it's called and I feel,like that one's really easy I was also,looking for a lot of like easy,do-it-yourself kind of costumes so the,pink energizer bunny was one even though,I couldn't make this one scary I could,still be like a clown and maybe get like,a clown wig and just dresses like a,silly like circus clown kind of similar,to Where's Waldo I also thought of doing,the monopoly guy if you know the game,Monopoly I'll insert a picture but the,guy looks really easy to do just get,like a black hat and we're all black and,maybe like a white shirt and I just feel,like that one would be really easy and,get a cane the next one I have is either,a crazy dog or a crazy cat lady you know,me I'd have to do a crazy dog lady but,last year for Halloween my little cousin,she actually dressed up as like a crazy,cat lady and she wore like a bathrobe a,hot glued a bunch of little stuffed,animals on there I got her I decided to,take the flannel off but I'm just gonna,like not talk about every single one cuz,I feel like this video is gonna be,really long but the next one I have is a,bag of jelly beans I saw this on,dangerous and I love it you just get a,bunch of little tiny balloons and make a,plastic bag and make yourself a bag of,jellybeans I thought it was so cute and,everyone would love it sometimes I wear,my hair in braids and one day I came in,with like pigtails like braided pigtails,and someone call me Pippi Longstocking,so obviously older people would,definitely understand that one another,thing to do with hair is I thought of,being a troll this one would also be a,lot of work because I would hairspray my,hair kind of all up and like spray it,like a color pink and I'd just be a,troll just like the jelly beans I,thought of making myself into cotton,candy and I saw where people actually,like taped on like cotton to them and I,could do like pink makeup and stuff,however you do it it's super cute and,that would just be so much fun to like,make it would take a lot of effort but,cotton candy would be a really cute idea,any kind of rock star would be cool like,case you could be kiss or just any kind,of rock star really into your hair kind,of funky that would be so much fun you,could be really any kind of animal you,couldn't make it like sexy like people,do like sexy cats or sexy bunnies or,whatever like you'd have to be like a,basic animal but that could still go,over really well and it's pretty simple,I feel like any kind of superhero,everyone would understand what that was,and be really easy especially since my,boyfriend's really into sports he has a,ton of like athletic and jerseys I could,wear and just carry around a basketball,or a soccer ball or whatever I say,superhero and athlete ups any superhero,or any athlete a mine would be a really,fun one like you get like the white,gloves in the black and white outfit I,feel like that would go really good,everyone knows the minions you could,always be a minion that would be super,easy just wear a bunch of yellow and,maybe some overalls I think that's what,they wear my grandma actually wants me a,mini one year and I love that I'm so,here for it they're so cute and just fun,if you've seen them maybe grace you,could be a pink lady or like the guy,version like the greasers is that what,they're called rosie the riveter would,be really easy and everyone know what,that is a scarecrow everyone know about,it is and you'd be super easy and fun to,do I feel like you could be any kind of,princess like any Disney Princess I feel,like everyone know what it is do they,even make like adult size princess,costumes or is it just for like little,kid,MARY POPPINS would be another easy fun,wine unless you believe in the,superstition of like not opening an,umbrella indoors I feel like for Mary,Poppins you'd have to carry around an,umbrella or maybe you don't I just don't,know if you like I just don't know if,people would understand it if you didn't,carry the umbrella Dorothy from Wizard,of Oz or really any Wizard of Oz,characters I feel like you could do and,make it work appropriately like I think,I said in a previous video I think I,want to be a pumpkin this year just,because whenever people like,trick-or-treat on the actual day of,Halloween I want to match Jack she has a,pumpkin costume so you could be a,pumpkin and getting a little headband,with where they called like the stem and,maybe even do some like makeup if you,wanted like I feel like that's super,simple a lot of people on my work last,year they dressed up and they just wore,like t-shirts like to be that like some,people were The Incredibles and they,just were like an Incredibles t-shirt,like that's all I did and I'm like no,this is Halloween like you have to go,all out like that's just me that's just,me but here I am also me and my mom we,wore like cow onesies so I mean that was,like a step further I feel like from,t-shirts but it was still super basic,and we didn't really try that hard but,this year I'm trying I'm not doing,anything with my mom cuz I don't win,this thing on my own last year someone,at my work she was identity theft and,she wore a basic t-shirt and then just,had like a bunch of like hi my name is,blank stickers on her and she had a,bunch of different names and she wore,like a black beanie like people wearing,to rob things or whatever she had like a,bag with like a money sign on it and she,was identity theft I thought it was so,funny you could be a mad scientist I,feel like that'd be super easy just get,like the lab coat the white lab coat,maybe even like some goggles that you,have from like high school I know some,people still have them then do some,makeup and do your hair all crazy like,you got burned you can't make this sexy,like I know a lot of people want to do,but you can do like a cowboy cowgirl,that would be super simple and everyone,know what you are,a hippie it would be a really good idea,I remember middle school high school,everyone was into hippies,for Halloween I feel like it's super fun,I don't remember any of the Harry Potter,movies but I know everyone knows what,they are so you could dress up as Harry,Potter do his little scar or whatever,where he wear the glasses to match him,you just be Harry Potter and I feel like,everyone know what you are and it'd be,fun and easy you could be a typical,angel devil whatever this one is kind of,like the identity theft and I saw this,one on Pinterest and it's called a,social butterfly and basically you're a,butterfly of butterfly wings and like on,your shirt you have the different like,social media icons like snapchat,Instagram whatever I thought it was,really clever but that's one of the,things that like people would have to,ask you like what are you and as soon as,you tell them they'll be like oh just,like the girl with the identity-theft no,one knew what she was but as soon as she,said what she was everyone's like love,that and this is number 31 this is the,last one this is also my favorite one I,think it is so funny and it is corn on,the cob I love corn on the cob as you,can see in the picture she's just,wearing like a hoodie and she is like,corn kernels and I one the zombie horror you know,the terror of zombies moving slowly,towards you and no matter what you throw,at them they just don't Flinch and just,keep moving forward zombies,this game is exactly that feeling you'll,have Team a the humans on one side of,the room and Team B the zombies on the,other side give team a a bunch of,objects to throw at the zombies,team a wins if all the zombies are,eliminated and a zombie is eliminated if,they Flinch from an object being thrown,at them and Team B the zombies win if,they manage to reach the humans now the,zombies are across the room from the,humans so the reach of the humans they,gotta take a couple of zombie steps so,each time an object is thrown at them,they can take one step so the more,objects the humans throw to defeat the,zombies the closer the zombies get to,catch the humans and once a team wins,you can have Team a and Team B swap,rolls and then you can play again now,zombie flinching is a little bit of a,gray together this is a team,game but you'll need at least three,teams and since this is a Halloween,party I hope people came in costume in,this game each team tries to combine,their costumes to make the most,interesting kind of abomination they can,and then all the teams will vote on the,best Frankenstein costume choosing your,teammates is pretty important in this,game so tell your guests to take their,time picking their teammates because,choosing costumes is really important,for bringing an idea to life,number nine The Headless Horseman not to,be confused with nearly headless Nick,this fully decapitated individual has a,hard time navigating without his head,this is a team game where one team,member is blindfolded and has to,navigate an obstacle course with the,help of their teammates give each team,an oversized turtleneck and a pumpkin,they will have to balance the pumpkin on,their head as they navigate this,obstacle course with the verbal,directions of their teammates whichever,team can do the obstacle course in the,shortest time wins gobega gourd home,right,ah since you made it this far I'm gonna,give you a bonus game this one is really,special it's called a murder of crows,this
