not two not three but we,are making four themed Halloween treats,and all of the treats that we're making,today are super easy and super delicious,I can't wait and a big thank you to grow,with Google started,okay the first treat that we're making,today we like to call halloweeno poppers,but they are mummy jalapeno poppers,they're delicious super easy and savory,in a large bowl we're gonna add some,shredded jack cheese a stick of cream,cheese You're Gonna Want it at room,temperature some chopped green onion,garlic powder little salt and pepper and,I'm going to be posting all of the,ingredients and their measurements in,the description down below so if you,want to follow along with me yeah then,using a spatula we're going to mix,together until well combined this is why,you want your Cream Cheese room,temperature look how easy this is mixing,together I would tell you a Halloween,joke,but it's too cheesy,The Filling is looking good looking,we get our little pet little peps ready,now this recipe you use about five to,seven Peppers but these are Big Peppers,so I'm just gonna be using five and what,we're gonna do is we're gonna cut them,in half take a pepper on top of a,cutting board and a sharp cutting knife,be careful don't get your fingers and,you're gonna cut it the long way I call,it hot dog all the way down then using a,spoon we're gonna scoop all of the seeds,and the inside of the pepper out into a,little bowl over here it's super spicy,unless you really want to scare someone,this holiday you can leave them in,boom like so then you're gonna do this,to the rest of your peppers once you've,scooped out all of your peppers I just,placed them onto a baking tray with a,piece of parchment paper we're gonna,fill them with our delicious filling to,do so very easy just gonna take a,spoonful and scoop it right on top and,press flat and you want it to fill to,the top to the line not really over we,don't want to overfill them because,we're going to put some cool stuff on,top nice and full but not overfilling,like that perfect now we're going to do,this to the rest of our Peppers peppers,are stuffed and now we're gonna roll out,our dough and we're gonna wrap them,around so they'll look like little,mummies so what I'm using is,refrigerated Crescent dough you can just,find this at the grocery store it's in,the refrigerated section this is the,stuff that's so easy to use I love it,it's pre-made and that's what Halloween,treats are about you want it to be fun,delicious and easy that's what I'm,talking about so let's get this popping,oh geez okay so you're supposed to give,it a tap and it's supposed to pop open,okay there we go oh that's what I'm,talking about so take a little bit of,flour I'm sprinkling on top of a cutting,board because we're going to be cutting,strips then you're just gonna let this,little sucker plop right out and these,pre-made doughs have little lines in,them so we're going to press them,together today their job is to make,Halloween treats and you know if you,don't want to that's okay because,what mummies look like they're really,old if you want them a little textured I,think that's okay once you've got your,dough rolled out and you've pinched the,seams together we're just gonna take a,pizza cutter or you can use a sharp,cutting knife just eyeball it we're,going to cut thin strips to wrap around,our cute little Peppers over here I'm,gonna try to get 20 strips so on this,halfway line I'm gonna try to get 10 on,this side and 10 on this side here goes,nothing they're about a quarter inch,thick and if they're a little bit,different in size and shape that's okay,because these are gonna be creepy little,mummies once you've got your strips of,dough cut you're gonna put two onto your,pepper you're gonna start at the top of,the pepper so I tried to think of this,this the forehead you're going to wrap,it around the top of the forehead and,you're going to leave just a little bit,of space for the eyeballs like I'm gonna,put two little eyeballs there and then,bring it to the center and now we're,gonna pick up a second strip and do it,again you can crisscross them,wrap them around you can really have fun,with it it's okay if it's a little messy,I think it makes it look cuter now,you're gonna do this to the rest of your,peppers our peppers are basically ready,to bake but before I pop these in the,oven I'm gonna cover them with a little,bit of egg wash if you've never made egg,wash before it's very easy it's just one,egg a little bit of water you mix,together and then with a little basting,or baking brush we're just gonna paint a,little bit on top of the dough of each,pepper helps the dough turn a nice,beautiful golden brown so just paint a,little bit of this on top of each pepper,now they're ready to bake You're Gonna,Pop these into the oven at 400 degrees,and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes,until they turn golden brown once your,peppers have baked and they're out of,the oven you're gonna do this while it's,still warm because you want your little,eyeballs to stick now this is the last,step the final decoration step we're,going to be adding two candy eyeballs,onto each pepper just like I've done,over here on the sheet I have a couple,more to do just got these at the store,any little candy eyeballs will do and,you're going to put them in that place,that we saved a little bit of room and,you want to do this while it's still,warm because you want the cream cheese,to stick to the candies and stay there,do that then they're ready to serve and,here are the mummy jalapeno poppers that,we made today they're super cute or as,we like to call them hashtag halloweenos,these are super adorable simple to make,and delicious in fact this one's not,even gonna make it to the dinner table,because it just fell on the floor or,something I don't know,oh my gosh it's so good you can't go,wrong with cheese bread and a little bit,of spice and when I say it's a little,bit of spice it is a little bit because,remember we hollowed out the center of,the pepper so it's really light it's,very mild I absolutely love these now on,to our next Halloween treat the next,recipe that we're going to be making are,these cheesy witch brooms the thing that,I like about this treat it is so easy to,make here's all the ingredients right,literally pretzels string cheese and,chives one of my favorite snacks is just,cheese and crackers and I think this is,a really fun twist so instead of cheesy,crackers it's cheese and pretzels so in,front of me we're going to start with,the string cheeses I want a cutting,board and as you can see now these are,the string cheeses that are two-tone the,two colors we got our mozzarella and a,little cheddar oh my gosh it matches my,outfit oh okay I didn't plan this but,literally these match my outfit I'm so,excited about oh my gosh I should have,literally done a photo shoot with this,string cheese now First Step here is,we're going to line up our little string,cheeses we're gonna make two cuts using,a big sharp cutting knife just be,careful don't get those fingers and,we're going to cut it into thirds there,we go one cut and two cut perfect now,we're gonna make some cuts into the,string cheese that will look like,bristles of a broomstick like so I'm,gonna be using a smaller knife to make,it a little bit easier so you're going,to take a string cheese and you're gonna,cut about halfway into it then you're,gonna do the same on the other side and,then so now you've got four sections and,you're going to cut each section in half,again you're just going to cut it a,little bit at an angle make those little,bristles this is going to help it stand,up almost looks like a little octopus,I've seen a little kids treat where they,did a little like little octopus cheeses,and that's kind of kind of the same idea,only we're gonna make broomsticks now,we're going to do this to the rest of,your string cheeses rest of your string,cheese yeah this is no now that we've,cut the cheese,we've got all of our cheesy brooms,and we're just gonna push it in the top,like this and only about halfway oopsie,because if you push it into,for your cheese is gonna split too far,oops so when you do this you'll just,have to have a little cheese and,crackers snack to yourself,all right let's try again round two,boom,beautiful look at that little broom so,once you've got your little pretzel,stick in there I'm gonna take a little,chive we're gonna tie a knot in the air,okay then we tie around I can do this,then we cut off the little excess and,there you go little witch's broom right,there now you're gonna do this to the,rest of your little cheesies and,there you have it cheesy witch brooms,it's a new take on cheese and crackers,it's pretzel and crackers and I really,love this treat because it's so easy to,make literally only three ingredients,you guys look how cute they are I love,them they remind me of little magic,brooms like they're standing up and,they're like sweeping on their own like,this,we've made some Savory treats now onto,some sweet treats the next spooky,Halloween treat that we're gonna be,making are these graveyard dirt cups,what can I say I like pudding I like,cookies and cream and this combines,everything I love into a little cup,little dessert size it's perfect for a,dessert for Halloween so we're gonna,start by making the pudding mix in a,large bowl we're gonna combine the,chocolate instant pudding mix and two,cups of milk then whisk together until,firm this usually takes about two,minutes so not very long at all you,don't even have to use an electric hand,mixer because it's not long and really I,like to get a little bit of a workout,when I'm having a dessert it makes me,feel like I've earned it I'm like whew I,did all this work I deserve a little,pudding cup with cookies in it,why does my laugh sound like a witch our,chocolate pudding is looking good now,the next step we're gonna make it a,little creamy a little fluffier we're,gonna add one and a half cups of whipped,topping we're going to fold it into our,chocolate pudding so we're just gonna,scoop it into here and if you've never,folded before let me show you how to do,it now you're going to take a big,spatula you're going to scoop underneath,all your pudding you're going to fold it,on top and then turn the bowl so it's,under over turn under over turn under,over turn and you just keep doing this,until it's evenly combined once mixed,together I put all of the chocolate,pudding into a Piping Bag just to make,things a little bit easier and this is,ready to go but I'm going to set it off,to the side this part is Bittersweet,we're going to take these cute little,chocolate cookies and we're going to,scrape out the filling now I love,cookies and cream this is a winning,combo forever but today we just want the,cookie not the cream I know some people,who twist them,and we'll do little games like they'll,say like who's gonna get it so we just,twist all of them apart oh these are,perfect because these are coming apart,perfect I'm not planning oh okay okay,there we go so all the ones with no,cream we're gonna place them into a,little bag over here and you just want,crushed cookies now you can scrape out,the cream oh the cookies and cream,you're breaking up the iconic Duo we're,just gonna put the cream in the bowl and,then put the other cookies in the bag oh,what I've got a little cookies there's,many different ways to make cookie,crumbs you can throw these in a blender,if you don't have a blender you can just,put them in a little baggie like this,take a rolling pin and crush them up,break them up into chunks we want fine,chunks if you're fancy you could use a,food processor that would be great I do,that with graham crackers too when I'm,making like edible sand but if you just,want to keep it simple this is fun also,stress relieving,we've got cookie crowns okay so here I,crushed about 30 cookies to get this,much now we're gonna assemble the,graveyard cups for dessert I have these,clear cups so that you can see the,beautiful layers so I'm going to scoop,about one and a half tablespoons crushed,cookie into the little clear cup and now,on the piping bags we have our chocolate,pudding I'm just going to cut little,hole at the end and we're just gonna do,this this makes it a lot easier I'm,telling you using a Piping Bag and if,you don't have a Piping Bag at home you,can use a sandwich bag and cut a little,right at the tip then another scoop and,then pudding and then Crush cookie look,at that this is like chocolate heaven,right here now you're gonna do this to,the rest of the cups the recipe makes 12,of these and then we're gonna add some,decoration our dirt cups are ready,they're beautiful they're layered and,now we're gonna work on the decorations,this is the fun part the part that I,really really love and in front of me I,got these delicious these are one of my,favorite cookies you can find these at,the grocery store basically a shortbread,cookie with a little bit of chocolate in,the middle and we're gonna make them,look like a tombstone so in a Piping Bag,a little bit of black icing and we're,gonna pipe our IP,Rosanna is Pansino,just kidding a rest in peace so we're,just gonna pipe at the top half of the,cookie I'm using a Piping Bag with a,metal tip for a little bit more control,just makes it easier we've got our,tombstones ready over here and I've got,all this spooky candy I found little,candy bones candy pumpkins candy worms,and we're gonna assemble it all to look,like a spooky graveyard then I'll hear,the graveyard dirt cups that we made,they're so cute if you love cookies and,cream you may love this treat for,Halloween I've seen my friends make a,big tray like make a big graveyard,display but what I really love about,this tree is that they're individual and,they're the perfect size for a little,dessert like after dinner we've worked,hard now we can have a treat here we go,let's take a taste,oh yeah look at those layers,oh my gosh it's so good this is better,than a chocolate mousse pie what I also,love about it so much easier to make now,on to our last recipe the last Halloween,treat that we're going to be making,coffin toaster pastries now this is a,treat that you could make in the morning,for Halloween the thing that I love,about these easy they're easier to make,in my opinion than scones one could say,that these are to die for,First Step we're going to roll out our,pastry dough it's basically pie crust,it's in the refrigerated or frozen,section wherever the cool section is I'm,going to put a little bit of flour on,the work surface in front of us so that,it doesn't stick usually it's pretty,good about not sticking but this is just,an extra precaution I don't want to mess,it up and you're just going to gently,roll it out I love this because it saves,a lot of time sometimes when I want to,make a homemade pie but I don't want to,make the dough I'll just pick these up,at the store next step we're going to,take a little cookie cutter I ordered,this coffin cookie cutter online and if,you don't have one of these you can just,use a sharp cutting knife and cut out,whatever design you want to do whatever,shape you'd like but I've got the cookie,cutter so I'm just gonna do and I'm,gonna cut out as many as I can we've got,all of our pastries cut out I put half,of them onto a baking sheet lined with a,piece of parchment paper and the other,half are over here because these are,going to be the bottom and these are,going to be the top because we're going,to sandwich them together next step,we're going to take a little bit of egg,wash if you've never made egg wash again,it's just an egg and a little bit of,water and a small painting brush we're,going to paint around the edges only,because that's where they're going to,stick together and I put the the least,good looking ones on the bottom because,no one will see them you want to save,your prettier ones for the top and if,you have any ones with like cracks in,them or imperfections you just put those,at the bottom they make a great tee and,then in a little Piping Bag over here I,have some jam now you want to use a red,Jam whatever one is your favorite you,can use strawberry jam or raspberry jam,you just want it to be a red Jam so it,looks like bloody so we want it to look,like a vampire is you know gonna pop out,of these coffins anytime you're gonna,pipe a layer of the jam gonna leave a,little space at the top and the bottom,just like so we're gonna take one of the,top pieces place it on top line it up,press together with your fingers and,then using a fork we're gonna crimp all,around the edges press down this is how,my mom used to make peanut butter,cookies,now we're gonna do this to the rest of,your pastries coffin toaster pastries,are assembled now we're going to add a,little decoration detail you're going to,take a little toothpick and poke two,holes for our vampire bite about here in,the middle is where I'm gonna be poking,two of the holes our little vampire is,gonna be trying to get out here and here,there's our little bites I'm gonna put,those little holes in all the pastries,just like so they're gonna do this to,the rest of your pastries now these are,ready to bake we're gonna pop these in,the oven at 350 degrees and bake for,about 20 to 25 minutes once your toaster,pastries have baked give them plenty of,time to cool and then we're gonna pipe a,little bit of icing on the top just like,this one we're gonna pipe a little,cobweb on the top because this is a,spooky coffin it's been sitting here for,a while there's a vampire inside we,don't know how old he is so don't open,the top he's probably very hungry like,me and then in a Piping Bag I have a,little bit of buttercream icing it's,just vanilla with a number two tip at,the end for a little bit more control,when we decorate and then we're just,gonna start in the corner I'm gonna pipe,four limes one two three,four and then we're gonna connect them,up down up down one in the middle and,one at the top then we're gonna have a,little spider come down here,and then we're gonna need a body of a,spider so it's a little bit bigger,you're just gonna put a lot of pressure,a little bit for the head then little,legs off to the side we want four on,each side,three,four then you're gonna do this to the,rest of your pastries and there you have,it coffin toaster pastries these are,homemade Halloween treats that I would,definitely have for breakfast look how,cute they are okay now I get to have a,bite,oh my gosh it's so good,um,yum oh right that does it for the video,here well hello there and welcome back to my,channel today we are going to be doing a,major cook with me for halloween i'm,going to share all my favorite little,recipes that i love to make for my kids,whether it be for their lunches or for a,halloween party i got you covered today,so we're gonna be doing about probably,12 different recipes today i'm going to,be throwing together a wonderful cook,with me,and decorate with me and then i'm going,to take you to raley's where we'll be,getting my favorite halloween must-have,which is,penguin dry ice that's right guys we are,going to be using penguin dry ice to,make our halloween extra spooky this,year so before you guys get ready to set,that table and invite all your friends,over definitely head out to any type of,grocery store you can actually head over,to penguin dry ice their website and you,can actually look up by your zip code,where you can find it it's super easy to,find but we're gonna be using it today,and i cannot wait to get started with,this video i wanted to say thank you to,penguin dry eyes for sponsoring today's,video and let's get cooking,so the day of any type of party i like,to get everything i need done either the,day before or the morning of so this,particular day i want to get everything,set up ready to go before i start,cooking i already know all the recipes i,have and what i need to cook them so i,already have that kind of prepped up in,the kitchen but i want to get the table,where i'm going to be prepping and,serving everything for our guests,totally done and ready to go so by the,time i'm done cooking everything is hot,and i can just throw it on the table to,get started i'm going to be using some,gorgeous mesh i found,on amazon i will link it down below and,then this adorable little house which i,love,that i found from michaels and then all,these other little parts i've either,always had or i have either acquired,this year if it's new and i can find a,link i'll put it down below if not i,will,point to the right direction of,something similar so what i like to do a,lot of times when i'm doing a nice kind,of buffet of any type i like to layer,things high and low and kind of tuck,things in especially since it's,halloween i want to be super spooky so,i'm going to be tucking all kinds of,things in and then i'm using a lot of,space for my penguin ice it's a big part,of this video today is i love decorating,for the holidays especially halloween,things are so spooky and i love to take,my decor to the next level that's kind,of my jam so,i like to use the fog to kind of create,a really spooky feel and it's going to,really bring this whole thing together,so before i get started cooking i'm just,going to put all the finishing touches,on this table and then i will drop the,ice and it will become the most epic,halloween table ever but before we get,into that let's get cooking,so to get started i'd like to do my,cupcakes a day or two ahead of the event,i'm having or if you're making these,cupcakes for your kids school or whoever,i would suggest doing these a couple,days in advance before any type of event,one thing i love to do is buy white,frosting from the store i like to put it,in my own piping bags that way if i want,to do a couple different colors i'm not,making a ton of frosting at home and it,also holds a little better so i would,highly suggest if you are buying like,let's say i'm using a dark chocolate,black frosting here i couldn't get my my,frosting this dark so i would use the,piping bags that you get at like target,or walmart or wherever and then put it,in your own piping bag that way you can,put your own tips on the end just a,little hack i like to have i throw them,in the refrigerator and i use them for,about a week depending on the different,things i have going on all our kids have,different activities at school so i like,to just kind of have them on hand but,anyway i'm going to be using a vanilla,cupcake with some white frosting and a,chocolate cupcake with some black,frosting i'm going to be making these,adorable ghost cupcakes i love this this,is actually a really really easy recipe,just use any type of store bought,cupcake get them all done and you're,going to be taking a little bit of,fondant i love this i just think it's,really fun to use i've used it in many,of my videos i used to be super super,afraid of fondant i thought it was,really hard to use and now i know the,trick to it it's really about,temperature and how you roll it out,once you kind of get this in a circle,we're going to cut just a simple round,you can use a cup or really anything i,just picked up whatever was near me and,you're going to want to make just a,simple circle,then when you have your cupcake what,we're going to do is use,probably,three times as much frosting just in one,little area on top of the cupcake kind,of forming a peak and then we're gonna,take the fondant and put it right over,the,cupcake and it's gonna make the perfect,little ghost body then from there we're,gonna put on two little black eyes and,we're gonna set those aside to dry,i just gotta know if you're gonna leave,so once you have those little cuties,finished and you're gonna let those dry,we're gonna set them aside and we're,gonna get started on our really spooky,graveyard cupcakes this is a super easy,recipe so we're gonna take the chocolate,cupcakes that we've already made and,covered in black frosting we're going to,ground up just a little bit of oreos i,just take the filling out of the middle,and ground it up i've done this for lots,of other recipes and what i like to do,is really get this nice and coated,with the oreos this is going to create,kind of a dirt effect which i really,love i i seriously you can throw like a,little tractor on top make a little,tractor birthday party i just love how,oreos can really transform a cupcake but,we're going to just dump all of those in,there and then i'm going to be using,these really cute little tombstones i,found at target and i'm going to be,writing r.i.p on them and i'm going to,be adding some really cute touches to,this nice and spooky to go with our,ghost cupcakes,i wish i had a little more time with you,baby,time to figure out what this could be,i just love how these turned out they're,so cute and just really create a really,spooky vibe and i love those little,bloody bones i just think they're so,cute so now that we're done with those i,have a couple little cupcakes left over,so what i'm gonna do is just put a,little bit of white frosting on them,and add a little bit of kind of i have,this like really,great red frosting i picked up at target,and i found these really cute kind of um,knives that i want to add in here and i,thought it'd just be kind of fun to have,like murderous cupcakes so we're going,to put a little,knife in here i'm going to add a little,bit of bloody frosting on here and just,kind of call it a day if you're looking,for something super simple this took me,about three minutes to make so i highly,suggest this if you're looking for,something really easy,so now that we're done with these i'm,gonna let them dry and set them aside,and get started on our graveyard,brownies this is actually an insanely,easy recipe just make any type of,brownie i did this in a 13x9 pan,and i'm going to be using my tombstone,cookie cutter and i'm going to be,cutting out as many tombstones as i can,once i'm done with that i'm going to be,melting down a bunch of black,chocolate melts in the pan behind me and,i'm going to be adding them to each of,these you could honestly,just leave these the way they are and,take a little bit of white frosting and,write r.i.p on them but when i finish,this recipe and you definitely have to,wait till the end of this video because,this whole thing will come together in,one whole vision,but um i wanted to be able to have them,stand up on their own if they were just,a brownie they'd get a little bit weak,so i'm going to be using this um,these chocolate melts to actually,fortify the brownie to make them nice,and strong so i can stick them up into a,spooky graveyard,once you have them all brushed out and,they've had a little bit of time to dry,go ahead and take your black,frosting and write rip or any kind of,fun message you would like on top,so our next recipe is beyond simple,we're just going to be adding a little,bit of that leftover chocolate milk to,some oreos i'm going to be stuffing in,some cute little bat wings and some,eyeballs and just make these little,vampire uh oreos i love this it's so,simple but the way it all comes together,on the tablescape just looks so,delicious,so our next recipe has to be one of my,favorite if you guys have been following,my channel for halloween you know i'm on,a whole hocus pocus kick so i wanted to,attempt the hocus pocus spell book and i,absolutely love how this turned out i,don't know if it's just the way this,brownie just kind of melted but it does,totally look like human skin so anyway,we are going to be adding a little,eyeball i'm using the black frosting to,kind of create the look of,winifred sanderson's,spell book and i added in,some really fun details the snakes on,the side,and then some fun stitching to kind of,look like it's bound by human skin or,whatever they say in the movie so i just,kind of,took the tip of this and i actually,instead of going through,the frosting i kind of created going,over the frosting which i think really,created more depth to,this brownie but tell me in the comments,down below what you guys think,i just love how this turned out you,could probably do little mini versions,of these it's so easy to make but i just,think they're so cute so the next recipe,is our mini pepper poppers i'm using a,mix of jalapenos and just some little,mini bell peppers to do these obviously,our kids aren't going to want to eat,jalapenos but i'm going to show you kind,of how to do them they're really simple,i'm sure you guys have seen them all,over the place but i'm going to be doing,the jalapenos use gloves with these,because when you hollow out the seeds it,releases all the spicy stuff that gets,in your eyes it's just yucky so you,definitely be using um gloves you're,going to also need gloves later in this,video,because we're going to be using some dry,ice but i'm going to be using a little,bit of cream cheese mixed with some mild,cheddar you could use any i know kobe,jack is another really great one but i,prefer cheddar with my jalapeno poppers,and i'm going to be using a little bit,of pepper i'm going to mix all of that,up and then evenly,put the,mix inside each pepper i love this it is,so easy to make and it's so delicious,once we're done with that i'm going to,be taking some crescent rolls and just,making some little strips to create our,i know mummies did you wrong wish i,could take your pain away cause i hate,seeing tears streaming down your face,i know you're strong won't feel this way,for a long time,just let it out,so when you're adding your crescent roll,strips it's really great to leave a,little opening around the eyes i will,show you a trick on how to tuck the eyes,in there later but it's so easy if you,just kind of leave that opening there,and then if it breaks don't worry about,it just kind of connect it underneath,because that's going to be the really,crunchy part that's so good so go ahead,and wrap all of these to create cute,little mummies and then we're going to,bake them prior to baking them we are,going to put a little bit of egg wash,which is i use two eggs with about a,half a cup of water i mix it all up and,then i'm gonna paint that on the peppers,and bake them for about five to ten,minutes depending on how long it takes,until things are nice and golden and,cooked,so once they're done i'm just going to,go back to my little eyeball kit and i'm,going to tuck in the eyeballs what i,like to use is a little toothpick to,kind of pull back,the crescent roll and tuck the eyes in,that's what gives it a really authentic,look i've noticed if you push the eyes,all the way to the open part they just,kind of look strange so you want to kind,of tuck the eyeball underneath to give,it that really cute look,so our next recipe is so simple it's a,jack-o'-lantern stuffed pepper this is,really the simplest recipe i think we,have today but you're basically going to,take you know those kits you get for,your kids to cut their pumpkins,yeah super simple we're going gonna grab,those and we're just gonna cut our,peppers like they're pumpkins this could,not be easier while this is happening,i've got some ground beef some rice and,black beans on the stove and i'm gonna,be mixing that all up and throwing it,inside of these i really like that,mixture it goes well with this and it,also is kind of when you pack it down,inside it keeps it from falling out so,what i'm going to do is cut the top off,of this scrape out all of the seeds and,kind of the white part that's inside,and then we're going to be filling these,up but before we do that we're,definitely cutting in some really cute,spooky faces,so a couple tips i have here is make,sure before you get started with a bell,pepper that it is a bell pepper that can,sit upright on its own it's not one,that's gonna topple all over and then,when you go to cut the face in try to,find a flat side i found a couple bell,pepper i was actually very lucky this,particular day,we have six people in our family so i,had six bell peppers and i was able to,find a bunch that were nice and big that,could sit up on their own and also be,large enough to have a nice face now if,they're super um kind of,a little wonky on the sides you're going,to have a hard time cutting a face into,them nicely so just bear that in mind,when you're looking for bell peppers but,i'm going to go ahead and do green ones,orange ones and red ones once i'm done,i'm going to add their little hats back,in and i am going to start packing them,full of their yummy yummy filling,another tip here that you could use is,if you can cut these ahead of time go,ahead and chop them up into little bits,and throw them into your ground beef and,rice mixture i'm using a spanish rice,and i'm also using taco seasoning in the,meat so it has a very taco salad vibe to,it and taste but if you wanted to you,could actually reuse all of the stuff,that you're cutting out of the bell,peppers within this i gave mine to my,chickens as you guys know we have,chickens and i just wanted to kind of,spoil them this day so i gave them my,little trimmings but you could do either,or but i just think these turned out so,cute don't forget to pack them down when,you're putting them in there that's,what's going to keep this from falling,out the mouth,so our next recipe is also super easy,we're going to take some of that,leftover rice and bean and,meat mixture and we're going to be,making some monster tacos i like to use,the kind of stand-up tacos this makes it,really fun and easy and i like to use,things that are malleable so that i can,kind of make them do what i want but,since i want the top of this to be super,dark i'm going to be starting my taco,with the light colored cheese i'm going,to be adding in the lettuce,then i'm going to be adding in our meat,and bean mixture then i'm going to set,them aside to put our spooky eyes on in,a little bit,for our next dish i'm going to be making,a spooky cheese plate i am so excited,because this is the easiest thing you,can do so if you're doing a halloween,party and don't want to do all the extra,kid stuff this is a simple go-to,to kind of wow any guests coming over to,the house,to get started i'm going to be making a,witch's broom stick so i'm going to take,some you can really take any cheese i'm,using just a simple string cheese and,i'm going to be cutting it into thirds,i'm going to flip the block over and cut,it into thirds again so it kind of makes,the broom part,then i'm going to take a little chive,i'm going to wrap it around the top just,to kind of create that effect of a,broomstick then i'm going to cut a,little hole in the top of the cheese and,stuff a pretzel in it this couldn't be,easier and couldn't be more delicious,so the next one might be one of my,favorites you're basically going to take,just a basic brie roll we're going to be,using our tombstone cookie cutter and,i'm going to cut two tombstones out of,two different free,wheels now i will say when you go to cut,these off we want to keep these edges,we're going to be using them to stick in,all kinds of spooky silliness so don't,throw those away we're going to be using,them again so i like to use that,obviously you're going to see that the,cookie cutter is not going to go through,the,cheese by itself so you're going to want,to use a knife to kind of sharpen up,your edges,once you have that done you can pretty,much write anything you want on here i'm,going to write rip on one and on the,other i'm going to be adding some spooky,knives and more blood just to make it,kind of like a murderous tomb,i wanna do it all,with you by my side if you're in meet me,here tonight,be brave and come along,so just say yes choose to do whatever,comes next,so for the next thing i'm just going to,take these little mozzarella pearls i'm,going to be adding a little bit of olive,oil,and some crushed red pepper i usually,will do this anyway just because i think,it's super delicious but i'm going to,mix those all up and then i'm going to,be adding just some fun little halloween,toothpicks and i'm going to push those,into,those pieces of brie that we cut off,earlier and just kind of stage them,around the cheese place,so now that i have everything on the,cheese plate i'm going to add a little,bit more blood just to kind of create a,spooky effect and we're all done,the next recipe we're going to do is a,pumpkin shooter this is super easy and i,wish i had had time to do this with my,cricut i should have used some um,vinyl to just kind of create this,pumpkin face but i didn't have time so,you're gonna have to bear with me but,i'm just gonna use these little glasses,i'm going to use a sharpie that i know,will come off in my dishwasher and just,create some spooky little faces on here,and i'm going to be filling them with my,pumpkin soup recipe i will link it down,below i shared it with you guys last,year in my,harvest cook with me and it's a very,simple amazing recipe i also add a,little chipotle to it so it's kind of,spicy but i'm just going to be adding,some pumpkin faces on here and we're,going to get those on the table,so now that all of our recipes are done,i'm gonna show you how everything turned,out i just think these ghost little,cupcakes are so cute i absolutely love,them i'm gonna be using them in the,house i love these little rest in peace,ghosts that i'm going to be adding to a,really cute,uh graveyard i love these murderous,cupcakes they are so delicious and these,bats are so cute,and then this,literally is still sitting in my house,my kids refuse to eat it because they,love it so much,i thought it turned out super cute the,cheese plate was gone first so good each,little bite was devoured by all of our,friends and our neighbors and so to get,started i'm going to just be adding each,of these into all the little parts of,this tablescape i love this house again,i picked it up at michael's i just think,it's super cute i'm going to use it for,other things but i think it just turned,out really fun then i'm going to take,our graveyard cupcakes i want to add,them to this cute little tray i picked,up from michaels as well and just kind,of create what could look like a nice,spooky graveyard and then from there i'm,going to start filling in the rest of,this table with all of our bites tell me,in the comments down below what do you,guys think about everything how do you,think this tablescape turned out and are,you excited to see our penguin ice make,this table come to life,i wish i had a little more time with you,baby,time to figure out what this could be,so now that it's time to eat i'm just,gonna use a little dollop of daisy and,i'm gonna add some cute little bloodshot,eyes to these adorable tacos and then,i'm gonna use a little bit of hot sauce,down the middle just to kind of give it,a bloody effect but also something,that's not super spicy i think these,turned out super fun,i should do this for the kids and their,lunch,i wanted to add something where the soup,sits up high i didn't i was gonna put it,in the tear tray but it ended up looking,cuter here so i'm just going to use,these little cauldrons i picked up from,the dollar spot and then put our little,soups inside and then i'm also going to,use some larger cauldrons that i picked,up from michaels that are for actually,making soup and i'm just gonna add our,little bell pepper jack-o'-lanterns i,just think these look so happy every,time i look at them they just put a big,smile on my face,for the tombstone graveyard i'm going to,be adding a plate i'm going to be,pouring a bunch of oreos inside to give,it again that dirt effect and then i'm,actually going to be using some,toothpicks to put behind the tombstones,rather to create kind of a standing up,effect i didn't know how to get them to,stand up without using more of our cream,but i thought it'd be easier to do it,this way and it actually turns out,perfect,just,so now that we have everything in place,i want to do a quick once over so you,guys could see it before i get out our,penguin ice to really bring this to life,but i just think this turned out so cute,you really can not go wrong with any one,of these recipes they're very easy,nothing too challenging just simple,stuff you can make at home even if you,were just going to make these and throw,them in the kids lunches or just have,them during the halloween,season they're just kind of fun and,silly so again tell me in the comments,down below i'd love to know what was,your favorite recipe we made today and,let's just little cauldrons,and some spooky little this jack,lantern's awesome i just add a little,bowl in there that kind of houses the,dry ice and then i add a little warm,water to these one of the things i love,about penguin dry ice is how it can,transform any type of decor even if it's,not halloween but it's just something,kind of fun and spooky,i just love the way you can really go,any limit you want whether it be just a,little spooky or totally over the top,which is what i love,penguin dry ice is the way to go,again like i said in the beginning of,this video you can check out their,website i'll hey guys welcome back or if you're new,here welcome my name is tiffany in,today's video i'm sharing with you some,really cute and festive halloween treats,so if you guys want to see what i came,up with then please keep watching,all right first up is our candy corn,jello i'm just showing you what you need,you need yellow jello orange jello some,whipped cream and some candy corns and,then i found these really cute kind of,shot glass things they are plastic from,the dollar tree so what you're going to,do is you're going to go ahead and make,your yellow jello first you do have to,do this in phases it did take me about,two hours to do this in its entirety,because you have to pour the yellow,jello in the mold let it set and then,once it's fully set then you can add the,orange jello so here i am i'm just going,to go ahead and fill up these shot,glasses halfway with the yellow,jello right once i've got them all set,i'm going to pop them in the fridge i,did actually put them in the freezer for,about 30 minutes and it did speed up the,process quite a bit so here i am just,doing the same thing with the orange,jello i'm going to go ahead and mix that,up and then add it on top of the yellow,jello now if you add it too soon and,your yellow jello is not set it will,bleed through so do make sure that the,yellow jello is good and set so here i,am just filling up the rest of the shot,glass with the orange jello,all right once that's set we're going to,stick it in the fridge again for about,another hour hour and a half i did stick,them in the freezer it did speed up the,process,so here now we're just going to add the,finishing touches we're going to add,some whipped cream on the top,and then top it with a little candy corn,candy so these are really cute really,easy,um it did take quite a while but i did,the other projects while these set so it,wasn't you know i wasn't sitting around,looking at the clock i only made six but,you can make as many as you would like,all right next up we are gonna make our,witch cauldron brownies i'm just gonna,take a boxed brownie kit you'll need two,eggs and oil for this one some cream,cheese frosting and some bright neon,green food coloring and then a variety,of sprinkles as well as some pretzel,sticks,and i did buy this little mini muffin,pan it does make cute perfect little,size cauldrons so they're not you know,too large they are bite-sized so i'm,going to go ahead and mix up my brownie,mix according to the instructions on the,back,now i'm going to spray my brownie pan,with our pam nonstick cooking spray and,then i'm going to do about a rounded,tablespoon for each one,now don't worry if it's too full it's,not really gonna matter so here they are,i'm gonna stick those in the oven at 350,for about 15 minutes,while those are cooking i'm going to mix,together my cream cheese frosting with,the bright neon green food coloring now,the more food coloring you use the,brighter this will be so i did add quite,a bit i did want to make it super super,duper green to kind of make it look like,you know the ooze coming out of a witch,cauldron so here we go,now that the brownies are done i'm going,to take them out and put them on this,cooling rack to cool now i did not use,all of them you will see what i use them,for later but i am going to take a,tablespoon or a spoon whatever whatever,you have works and just make a little,indentation in each brownie,now we're gonna take our frosting and,the pretzel sticks,and our sprinkles we're gonna start,decorating our cauldrons,so i'm gonna take this little coffee,spoon i have it was a perfect size i'm,gonna fill it up with the frosting stick,in our pretzel sticks and start adding,those little bobble sprinkles i thought,the purple was really cool you can keep,it monochromatic and do just green but i,thought the purple added something,special,so i'm going to go ahead and fill up all,the rest of these and get them going,now i did want to make them look messy,you don't want it to look perfect then,i'm going to stick in my pretzel sticks,and then pop on the sprinkles,now i was like oh maybe this is good,like this but i had some little witch,hat sprinkles and then some googly eyes,so i decided to add that at the very end,you will see here,they do still have these at walmart i,did see them this year as well so you,guys can pick it up there,all these sprinkles i did get at walmart,i'm just gonna add the googly eyes and i,thought it added a really creepy touch,to it,all right next up is our graveyard dirt,cups i've got a bunch of chocolate jello,some oreos that we're gonna crush up,these little decorating kits that i got,from party city,some mini gummy worms and some pumpkin,creams and then i found these really,cool plastic bowls they were clear they,were perfect dollar tree has a ton of,stuff like that if you're ever curious,definitely check them out now we're just,gonna crush up our oreos this is gonna,be our dirt,i'm just gonna smush it with a fork make,sure it's good and nice and chunky and,looks really dirty,now we're gonna take our leftover,brownies i'm just gonna break it apart,smush it in the cup and push it down,so you're gonna do that with all of your,cups,now i'm gonna fill the first layer with,pudding,and we're gonna spread out the pudding,make sure it's nice and rounded and,fills up the bowl,and now we're gonna add our crushed,oreos and then another layer of pudding,and then another final layer of oreos on,top,now i got these really cute little,tombstones with a little pin,and some like bones now i'm going to,start decorating my cups as you can see,i used some monster hands some pumpkins,some gummy worms just to make it look,really cute and then i put rap with a,cross on the tombstones and just stuck,it in there this one was super simple,your kids can even help with this one my,daughter really really loves these ones,and so did her friends,all right next up is our spider deviled,eggs what you're going to do is you're,gonna boil your eggs as you would,normally then you're gonna pop them in a,bowl of cold black water i am using,black food coloring i did let that sit,for three hours,so the more you crack it and roll it the,better it will turn out as you can see,here when i'm peeling it off it kind of,made like a spider web,it's really really cool i really like,this one i love making deviled eggs for,every holiday,it was super simple to do just get some,black food coloring stick it in the bowl,and forget about it for a couple hours,really really cool i love this one,so now we're going to make our deviled,eggs as you would i use,mayo and mustard salt pepper and paprika,in mind but you make yours however you,like,now if you like yours really really,smooth and creamy then feel free to bust,out the blender but since i'm making,such a small batch these are pretty much,for my daughter and myself i'm not gonna,use the blender,now we're gonna take some black olives i,am gonna cut them in half for the body,of the spider and then cut them,in little wedges for their legs as you,can see,and now we're just gonna fill up our,eggs,now here i'm just demonstrating how,we're going to make the spider so you,can take half of the olives pop it on,there and then pop on the little legs,and that is it guys,super simple yet super creepy when my,daughter saw these she almost didn't,want to eat them because they kind of,looked gross but that's the whole idea,you could even add some like green food,coloring to the deviled egg mixture if,you wanted to be even grosser,but,i thought these were cute they came out,really adorable,all right next up is our skeleton,charcuterie board,now i am using some beef summer sausage,some turkey pepperoni sliced cheese,mozzarella cheese an assortment of,crackers and then i decided to add some,grapes at the very end,so basically what you're going to do is,you're going to cut up your meat i'm,going to cut up my summer sausage here,and pull off the little paper,that surrounds the outside of it,and then start taking out all of my,cheese and cutting it to size,now you can even use like,prosciutto you can use lunch meat you,can use salami there's so many options,but this is for kids so i want it to be,super mild,so i've got everything set up now we're,just gonna go ahead and start assembling,our little guts in our skeleton i did,get this skeleton from amazon he was 15,bucks super good deal really cute fit my,cutting board perfect,so now i'm just organizing all the,cheese playing around with the placement,this was super cute and really really,fun to do i like this one so much it,came out so cute,this one is probably my favorite and,it's probably the most simple and easy,easy to do it takes literally five,minutes,all right last but not least is our,bloody popcorn so you're just gonna need,a bag or two of popcorn i've got these,red melting chocolate wafers and then,those bone those bloody bone sprinkles,from the little kit earlier i've got,this cute bowl and these skeleton tongs,from dollar tree,so here i am i'm just putting a plastic,tupperware underneath the popcorn just,to make it look more full,because i know we weren't going to have,a ton of people so i didn't want to make,too much but you're basically just going,to heat up your chocolate and then,splash it and sprinkle it and toss it,and kind of make it look like a bloody,mess honestly,i decided to put my little tongs in,there and get the hands really bloody,too it looks really cool added the,sprinkles on top and that was it super,simple but spicy Mexican eggs,this is a very classic Mexican style,brunch dish bold Kick-Ass flavors slice,the chili seeds in,garlic sliced nice and thinly,tablespoon of olive oil,I'm a big fan of brunches and if you get,it right a great brunch can see you,right through to dinner now to start the,sort of spicy fragrant tomato sauce get,your cumin in there,garlic chili roasted cumin red onions,already sounds Mexican,once that starts getting really nice and,crispy in with your tomatoes,let them embarrassed using good canned,tomatoes I do it all the time cooking at,home,Now by reducing that sort of come down,to a delicious paste leave that to,simmer,next canned beans called black beans,these are authentically Mexican but,cannellini beans or chickpeas will work,just fine just rinse them a little bit,of water,that is beautiful turn off the gas and,just let it absorb leaving the dense,beans to luxuriate in the spicy tomato,sauce will allow them to soften and soak,up all the flavor,next oil and season and oven proof dish,for my spicy egg crunch to baking,I'll just get some of that oil,around the outside,take your corn tortillas slice them in,half and then just stick them to the,side,these are a staple in Mexico,take one replace that in the center,get your mix,and place that on top of the tortilla,spread that out nice and smoothly lift,up those little flaps I want that crisp,shell on the outside,now your eggs and cheese get the base of,the egg and just make a little hole in,there and then crack,the egg into the,again use a little point,put your egg in there one,two,three,four five and one in the middle,gently crack and get the egg to sit,inside almost like it's a little dug out,and then one for the center,get a really nice rich delicious strong,Montgomery cheddar I want to grate the,tortilla shell as well so get generous,with it on the top and we'll season that,with these little babies,little chili flakes they're my little,secret weapon and they're going to spice,up that egg which is salt,such a pepper,sit that in the oven to bake for eight,to ten minutes and 180.,that smells incredible,just a little bit of coriander to finish,it off,and that for me is what brunch is all,about let's go,a fantastic fiery brunch to get your,party started,spicy Mexican eggs in a crispy tortilla,shell,mouth-watering Smoky pulled pork with a,spicy chipotle mayonnaise,that is the most amazing pork butt,butts away butts away now this is,incredible there's the shoulder yeah and,look there's the shoulder blade if you,go through here there's a knuckle there,that's connecting the top and that's why,that's cool a butt,the slow you cook it the more juice it,is and it's great for big parties,because you just come along and get your,fork and shred it a delicious Smoky,mayonnaise and you're away onions into,half and half again okay I'm Gonna Leave,the roots on okay because I want this to,sit underneath the pool,it gives a chance to cook evenly and,doesn't get dry in the bottom really,important okay now I'll peel the garlic,okay I would like you to crush the,garlic we're going to make a really nice,little paste,okay,come on come on come on nice good girl,one more Crush,come on Mickey,oh sorry,cut there now this,there's a beauty paprika smoke paprika I,love it so three nice tablespoons in,okay,two large tablespoons of brown sugar,salt please,and pepper good girl,so I'm going to form a nice paste now,olive oil in,mix that some thyme in there so we've,got a sort of fragrant rub time stalks,underneath,so that's even more flavor going on the,bottom,pull that all over it,now,this is where you've got to be really,quick,okay,rub that massage,look at that,just drizzle a little touch of olive oil,on top of that for me I keep the pork,nice and moist,lovely like some of the best party,dishes the marinating the pork shoulder,can be done days in advance so if I was,doing this for a Sunday and start,marinating Thursday Friday so it gets,even tastier right quite easy as well to,make it's very easy five and a half to,six hours in the oven at 140.,while our pork butt slowly roasts Meg,and I are gonna pimp some shop bought,mayonnaise,I don't like just plain mayonnaise,there's so many things you can twist,yeah there's so many things so many,exciting you can do with it right,salt pepper,and,a little touch of Honey sweetness yeah,sweetness but there's some heat coming,okay and I've got a little bit of you,know this Chipotle smoked Chipotle paste,I love that once you've made this,dressing you know it can sit in the,fridge great for open sandwiches yeah,can you use it for any sandwiches really,any sandwiches but goes brilliantly well,with pork now just have a little taste,I've never had this before it's so good,a nice spoon of mustard,so that's a nice spicy mayonnaise,after five and a half hours in the oven,our pork is nearly ready just time to,knock up a couple of tried and tested,party favorites first deliciously simple,cheesy crushed potatoes,cut potatoes into even chunks and,submerge in salted boiling water skins,and all,meanwhile finally die sweet pickled,gherkins or cornichons,trim and finely chop spring onions,and Grate some nutty gruya cheese,when the potatoes are cooked through,drain roughly crush and add your spring,onions and gherkins,taste and gently combine before a final,sprinkling of grated Greer,simple cheesy crushed potatoes are,equally delicious served hot or cold,now I want something sort of raw like a,slaw something quite refreshing yeah so,I'm going to make a really nice fresh,broccoli salad now these are called,florets that's the best part of the,broccoli okay the bit everybody wants,once they're off I'm going to slice the,broccoli,okay never had raw broccoli before it's,always been cooked when you dress this,with the dressing it's incredible now,little Seasons early on,yeah okay now for the dressing,fresh sugar in teaspoon of sugar please,die,a little small,cider vinegar there you go,finely chopped it up,in with the broccoli so,delicious,roasted almonds into the broccoli,carrots I love them that gives that nice,sort of chewy texture right lift up your,bowl please nice and gently,half of that in the middle please thank,you and stop and then mix that up with,me,okay,a little taste,so good and it's kind of salad that,doesn't Wilt a couple of hours later,it's still crunchy because the,broccoli's raw raw broccoli salad,with poly now let me the pork out for,this look at this Megan honestly that is,amazing it's beautiful that is,incredible,now that goes to the table like that a,delicious,before we go to the table just a little,bit honestly,don't tell mum thank you,good idea I'm gonna do it,that,so yeah you promised me you don't give,the recipe to your boyfriend that's good,this is my ultimate easy party dinner,melt in your mouth slow cooked Smoky,pulled pork with a spicy chipotle,mayonnaise,I'm quick simple size of foreign,hey everyone my name is sophie from,sophisticated organization,welcome back to my channel today's video,is going to be a halloween cook with me,and i'm especially excited because this,video is in collaboration with my friend,rebecca you can find her here on youtube,and on instagram at rebecca hughes,if you guys have not been to her channel,before you are going to love her content,if you like mine she is a mom she has a,lot of cleaning motivation,she does some cooking videos as well,some lifestyle content,but the two of us are collaborating on,this halloween cook with me video and we,were both,so excited to come up with a bunch of,ideas,so after you watch my video i would love,if you go check out hers,i am really excited to see all of the,little goodies that she comes up with,and what she's cooking for her halloween,dinner,so if you guys are ready for it we're,gonna jump right into this video because,i have a bunch of appetizers to cook,i have dinner and a special dessert so,let's go,we're starting with appetizers today and,the first recipe,we are going to make is a pumpkin,deviled egg,now they're not pumpkin flavored but,we're going to make them,look like pumpkins so i started off by,hard-boiling,six eggs and now i'm just going to slice,them in half lengthwise,and separate the yolk from the rest of,the egg,with the egg yolks i'm gonna add three,tablespoons of mayonnaise,a teaspoon of dijon mustard,a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar,salt pepper and,young paprika,the real key to making these pumpkin,deviled eggs is adding,extra paprika so paprika doesn't have,that strong of a flavor so you can kind,of load it up you could also add,something like sriracha,if you actually want some more spice to,it but really just adding something that,makes it a little bit more,orange looking as opposed to yellow,just like the movies,then for the top of the pumpkin i chose,to use green onions you can use,any sort of herb or green vegetable,really anything you want but you're just,going to slice it in a little small,piece to look like the top of a pumpkin,and insert it,into each spot of egg yolk okay,how cute are these they look like little,adorable pumpkins but they're just,deviled eggs very simple recipe and,because they're pumpkins they're,actually kind of fall themed this is,something you could use for thanksgiving,as well,our next appetizer is going to be mini,spider pizzas,now i didn't follow any particular,recipe for this i just chose to grab,some pillsbury pre-made pizza dough you,can use any brand,you could home make your own pizza dough,which i actually did in a video not that,long ago so i will link that in the,cards above,but the main thing you're going to want,to do is cut them into smaller,circular shapes so it's appetizer style,if you have a circular round cookie,cutter go ahead and grab that,i didn't so i'm using a glass and,i'm just turning it upside down i had to,give it a little bit more of a wiggle,to cut through that dough but it worked,out just fine,i get so caught up,deep down,now this dough recommends that you,pre-bake it in the oven before you put,the sauce on i do that when i home make,my own pizza as well,just so it doesn't get too soggy so i'm,gonna stick it in the oven for a little,bit,and while that cooks i'm gonna start by,cutting up some olives to try and make,my little spiders that are gonna go on,top,so this ended up being a little more,tedious of a process than i thought it,was gonna be,but to make the head you're going to,slice the olive in half horizontally,so you'll have one side that kind of has,a little star at the top of it,and that's going to be your head then,for the body you want to slice the olive,in half,lengthwise and then again for the legs,lengthwise and then,chop through it to make sure you have,four little strips on each side of the,body,to look like a spider that has eight,legs,is,i will put out all of the fire,if it gets too dark,i'll be,it honestly was a balancing act getting,the legs to stand up,the body and the head are super easy,just to stick on those mini pizzas,but the legs can be kind of precarious,so you want to,stick them in to the melted cheese a,little bit and that kind of helps them,stay,am running for you,i am,i'll be,next up we have jalapeno popper mummies,now i got this idea from a friend who i,believe got it from,pinterest and it's something she's made,for the past couple years whenever we,get together,for halloween and have a little party,they're so cute,and they are delicious this is probably,my favorite or second favorite of all of,these recipes,so i started by taking my jalapenos and,slicing them in half,then i just added eight ounces of cream,cheese eight ounces of jack cheese,and some green onions and a little bit,of salt,so the spice level of jalapenos really,varies sometimes they are,extremely spicy other times they're very,mild and almost tastes like a bell,pepper,but for this i really recommend that you,take out all of the seeds that's where,the true spice comes from in the,jalapeno,and if you have guests you definitely,don't want somebody biting into a,jalapeno with seeds that could get,really spicy and even if you do get a,jalapeno that's a little bit more on the,spicy side even after you've taken all,of the seeds out,this cream cheese and jack cheese,mixture,really kind of softens that spice with,all the seeds out you just add your,cheese mixture to the top and roll out,your crescent roll dough,now you're going to want to have them in,rectangular shapes so that's two of the,triangles put together,and cut them into long strips and just,wrap them like a mummy,you leave a little bit of room so you,can put some eyes on at the end which,you'll see me do in a moment,but just wrap them however you want,sometimes i had the lines crisscrossed,sometimes they were just going straight,around,it's not a science just have fun with it,you can do better,baby kick your shoes off you don't,time to give each of my mummies an egg,wash and this will just help it look,nice and browned and beautiful when it,comes out of the oven,the final step to make these extra,spooky and halloween themed,is to add some eyeballs on top this is a,set,of candy eyeballs that i got from wilton,but i will say they kind of tend to melt,a bit if you add them onto,the jalapeno poppers when they're still,hot so i would let them cool just a,little bit,and then add your eyeballs on our last,appetizer is,so simple to make they are bat tortilla,chips,so i make tortilla strips like this all,the time,to top taco soups taco salads,all sorts of things they're really easy,and really delicious,so all i do is i take a flour tortilla,i brush it with some olive oil and top,it with,taco seasoning i make my own taco,seasoning but you can use a packet or,just use some of your favorite spices,that are,in taco seasonings sprinkle it on top,and then,i'm using a bat shape today you can use,any cookie cutter,or if you're making them just in regular,strips you can do that as well,stick them on a cookie sheet and i just,bake them in the oven until they're,nice and crisp looking and this would be,perfect if you want to put some salsa on,the side,you can make some homemade guacamole any,of your other favorite dips,but this one's really simple and a great,way to make it,halloween themed,it's been so long i can't remember,it's like i've been walking here for,days,is,it's like i've been working here for,need days,look how cute they turn out when they,come out of the oven they're nice and,browned,perfectly crispy and great in your,favorite salsa or guacamole,on to the main event it is time for our,creepy eyeball pasta,and this is a super easy recipe again if,you can even call it a recipe,i made some green pasta ahead of time,you can find something with spinach or,anything like that but the green really,stands out and makes it halloween themed,then i made a basic red sauce with,ground beef,onions and mushrooms and try to,top the green pasta off and just keep it,in the center,usually when i make a pasta and a pasta,sauce i mix it all together,but i really wanted that green pasta to,stand out so,here comes the fun part we are going to,make eyeballs for the top of the pasta,out of mozzarella cheese,and olives now besides the mozzarella,cheese and olives you're going to need,two different sized,straws so all you do is push the straws,through the mozzarella discs that you'll,slice up,and make little holes in the center you,can make them off centered if you want,the eyeballs to look like they're,looking in different directions,and then slice the olives lengthwise so,you can really push that straw in there,and use the olive circles that you make,to refill that spot in the mozzarella,cheese,and ta-dah it looks like little eyeballs,to see,finally for dessert we have mini oreo,and cream,cupcakes so earlier i said the jalapeno,popper mummies may be one of my favorite,recipes,this one definitely rivals it these are,so good a,party favorite they're a crowd pleaser,these,are a must try the recipe starts off,with putting your cupcake liners,into your cupcake tray and then sticking,a mini oreo at the bottom of each,now i'm just going to mix my dry,ingredients together so i have a cup and,two thirds of flour,half a teaspoon of baking powder,a quarter of a teaspoon of baking soda,and half a teaspoon of salt,i'm gonna move this aside and start to,put together my wet ingredients,so we have half a cup of melted butter,that's cooled off just a little bit,a cup of sugar three-fourths of a cup of,any type of milk i just used almond milk,that's what i had,a teaspoon and a half of vanilla,a quarter cup of greek yogurt,and then one egg,now it's time to fill up the cupcake,liners with the batter and i'm using my,brand new cookie scoop i have a,mini one and a larger one and i was,lucky enough to get these as a gift so,if the gift giver is watching,thank you so so much this is a kitchen,gadget i've been,wanting for a while and it makes,cupcakes and,muffins and cookies so much easier and,mess-free so thank you,to make the icing for the top of these,cupcakes all you need is a cup of,unsalted butter,four cups of powdered sugar a teaspoon,of vanilla extract about a third of a,cup,milk or cream and you just kind of want,to balance it out and,test the consistency so that can kind of,vary some salt,and then if you aren't going to color it,like i did you can add some crushed,oreos to it as well but since i wanted,to add some coloring to this and,sprinkles on top,i chose to omit the crushed oreos,don't you see what's,to hang,there's so much that i'm still keeping,to myself,gel food coloring really helps make,frostings vibrant it helps make,cakes really vibrant and that's exactly,what i was going for,with these halloween colors so i have a,question for you guys does anybody know,why the orange green and purple are,considered halloween colors is it just a,coincidence,or is there a certain reason i've always,kind of wondered but,regardless i love the colors together,whenever i decorate for halloween,or host some sort of halloween party i,love using those colors as the theme,just because i think it's a little more,fun and less scary and spooky i'm,not the person to decorate with skulls,and fake blood and all of that stuff so,i like having this fun bright colors to,use,for halloween,now with my three piping bags filled up,i am going to ice these cupcakes,one by one and that's definitely the,downside of mini cupcakes,is it takes a little bit longer but look,how cute they look,who knows what you think about me,and i know i shouldn't care,i really tried my best but i can't make,you happy,and i can't stop time for you i,don't know but we couldn't work this,out because you know i tried the best i,could,i don't know how or what i could,the best i could,i can't stop time for you,i got these halloween sprinkles that,perfectly match the frosting from,target it's from their hide-and-geek,boutique collection,so i sprinkled them on top and a tip for,you,if you frost your cupcakes don't wait,too long before you add those sprinkles,on or else they won't stick very well i,definitely waited a little bit too long,so it's a little bit harder to get them,to stick but we hey guys today's episode is the one,you've all been asking for a Halloween,menu now here's my take on Halloween,food for me it has to look appetizing,and it also has to be delicious so you,won't find any food coloring or eyeball,soup here no instead I've used all,natural ingredients to create a menu I,think you guys are gonna love so imagine,if you will,you've been dropped into an enchanted,forest inhabited by an elderly witch,she's invited us for dinner and here's,what's on the menu we're gonna kick,things off with a homemade pumpkin punch,served in a real fairytale pumpkin then,I'll show you how to make my spooky bug,bites which are broiled dates with salty,gorgonzola cheese topped with a crunchy,walnut then it's spider bites created,with earth cheese and black olives for,our main course it's a yummy witch's,stew made with wild mushrooms roasted,chicken and fresh rosemary then I'll,show you my easy cheat for making cheesy,cornbread muffins then one of my,favorite recipes for a crunchy fall,harvest salad and for dessert,it's my wickedly good chocolate fallen,cake serve with an eerie chocolate,whipped cream and spooky meringue,mushrooms now before we begin I have a,little bit of exciting news to share,with you guys you may remember a few,weeks back I took a little bit of a,break well I was busy planning a new,project my good friends at King,Community have decided to give me my own,channel that's right I'm gonna get a,spinoff have fun is that the channel,will be called entertaining with Beth,and on it I'm gonna be sharing some of,my favorite recipes for holiday,entertaining as well as all of my tips,and tricks for keeping everybody sane,during the most hectic time of year the,channel will launch on October 29th and,will be part of the newly formed kin,Network so be sure to subscribe and,let's enjoy a my most favorite time of,year together and not to worry I'm still,gonna appear here on kin community as,well it's just now you have two places,to find me all right so let's get back,to Halloween and get this party started,I love the idea of a specialty cocktail,especially on a holiday like Halloween,and one of the things I love to do,around this time of year is create,punches they're fun they're festive and,everybody loves a good punch now one of,the things that I think is fun about a,punch is the way that you serve it and,for Halloween especially at the home of,a witch you wouldn't just use any punch,bowl,she'd probably use a real pumpkin so I,love these fairytale pumpkins sometimes,are also called Cinderella pumpkins I,get them at Trader Joe's every year but,I've also seen them at some pumpkin,patches around town I love them because,they look like pumpkins that grew maybe,a hundred years ago they're old and sort,of multicolored and they just look very,mysterious in eery the way to make a,pumpkin punch bowl out of a real pumpkin,is simple you're basically just gonna,carve the top of it like you would a,jack-o'-lantern,and I won't lie this takes some work you,gotta put in a little bit of elbow,grease but it's definitely worth doing,because the result is so cool you want,to start with a sharp sort of paring,knife just to kind of score it after you,get the main score done then go in with,a bigger chef's knife just to really cut,the pumpkin flesh and wiggle it loose,until it comes undone when that pumpkin,is open you will see it has the most,beautiful orange flesh to it you just,want to go in there and carve it out,clean out all the seeds and all that,sort of stringy flesh until you're left,with a really smooth bottom now these,pumpkins are so thick and that's the,great thing about them you don't need to,line them with anything in order for,them to hold liquid once you have it all,carved out you want to just put the top,on and at that point you can pop it in,the fridge until you're ready to use it,then to make the pumpkin punch here's,what you do,you get some of that pureed pumpkin now,you don't want to use the pumpkin pie,filling because that usually has a lot,of sweeteners and spices already mixed,in and we're gonna add our own spices so,just make sure you get something that's,called pure pumpkin puree you're gonna,put about 1/2 a cup of that in a blender,with some orange apple and pineapple,juice I know that sounds like a strange,blend but there are brands that actually,make orange pineapple apple juice and,what's nice about it is,color so I found a Welch's brand I know,that they make it but who also can get,the Safeway brand as well then you're,gonna add the juice of one lime and two,cups of ice blend it up until it's nice,and frothy,then you're gonna pour that into your,punch bowl and add about a half a bottle,of Prosecco Prosecco is just like a,light sparkling wine if you've never,used it lett cheaper than champagne then,to garnish it I like to use some star,anis cinnamon sticks and some apples so,I'll take the apples and slice them,vertically and then insert whole cloves,into them that way everything's sort of,floating on top it has a really great,sort of woodland feeling that makes you,feel like you're in that enchanted,forest and to sort of I like to use some,vintage champagne flutes I love them,because they are etched glass and,they're sort of mismatched and to me it,just feels like something an elderly,which would take out of her attic and,serve a nice punch in then to decorate,your drinks tray I turn to the produce,aisle of my grocery store and I get,things like pomegranates that I cut in,half just because the inside looks very,sort of spooky and eerie I love to take,really dark grapes those black grapes,and wash them and put them in the,freezer so that overnight they develop a,beautiful frost so when I put them on,the tray it looks as if they're dusty,and old so that's my pumpkin punch,couldn't be easier to make and I really,hope you'll take the time and effort to,make the pumpkin punch bowl I think your,guests are really loving,one of the things I think is fun about,Halloween it's just to give people a,little bit of a prank,just to startle and these appetizers do,just that so to make the spider bites,take your favorite cracker I like a,round cracker because I think it works,well with the shape of a spider,then take some force on cheese if you're,not familiar with force on cheese it's a,herb spread that you get in the cheese,aisle of your grocery store if you can't,find it you could also use goat cheese,just mix with your favorite herbs it,would be the same thing then take a,small ice cream scoop and take a scoop,of the cheese and place it on the,cracker and then the fun part the,spiders so you want to take some black,olives that are already pitted cut them,in half and one half becomes the body of,the spider you're gonna place that on,the cheese,then you wanna take the other half and,cut six little legs now I know most,spiders have eight legs but this is a,magical spider so it's only gonna have,six you're gonna take the legs and place,it in the cheese and you'll see you'll,have one adorable little spider sitting,atop a delicious hors d'oeuvre and then,the other murderer that I think is fun,that is equally delicious is something I,call a bug bite so I love fresh dates I,think they're delicious but they do look,a little odd in fact to me they've,always kind of looked like bugs so I,thought what a perfect idea for,Halloween so go get some fresh dates you,can find them in the produce aisle of,your grocery store cut them in half and,take the pit out then you're gonna fill,the date with some gorgonzola cheese and,put it on a sheet pan and pop them under,the broiler,it only takes probably two to three,minutes just to start to melt that,cheese it'll start to turn a little bit,golden brown and the dates we begin to,get soft pop them out of the oven and,place one walnut on top I love the,walnuts too because they also look a,little bit creepy and strange and with,the gorgonzola cheese that looks kind of,mouldy you've got a really creepy,looking word a nerve that's very,delicious,I love this too because it uses all the,great flavors of autumn it also just,reminds me of something that a witch,might cook up at her cauldron what,you're gonna do is you're gonna start,with some chicken you want to buy two,breasts that are bone-in skin-on and the,reason you want to do that is because,you're gonna roast it at a very high,temperature and the skin and the bones,will just keep that meat really really,moist so then when it's cooked through,you're not gonna have it dried out piece,of chicken so you're gonna pop that in,the oven at 400 for about 20 to 25,minutes just until it's done meanwhile,you can get on with making the base for,the students you're gonna saute up some,yellow onions some leeks just the white,parts not the green parts and some,celery just until those vegetables are,soft and fragrant then you're gonna add,the mushrooms so I love mushrooms around,Halloween time not only because they're,great in the fall but because it kind of,looks spooky especially oyster mushrooms,you look at them and you think hmm,that's safe to eat,they are totally available the grocery,store but they just look kind of spooky,and old you're gonna saute those up with,the vegetables just until they start to,cook down then you're gonna add dried,thyme from garlic and about half a cup,of white wine you're gonna cook that,just until the wine is evaporated and,reduced down then you're going to add,about six cups of broth now to thicken,the stew you want to take about two,tablespoons of flour mixed with some,water mix that up and add that to the,pot as it cooks that stool will start to,thicken thanks to the flour then you're,going to put about five sprays of fresh,rosemary put the lid on and let that,simmer for about five to seven minutes,basically what you're trying to do is to,release all of the oils in the rosemary,to impart a wonderful rosemary flavor to,your stew at this point your chicken is,most likely done allow it to cool just,so that it's easy to handle then you're,gonna remove the skin and cut up all the,chicken off the bone just kind of,shredding it apart as you go,add the chicken to the pot and then,about half a cup of half-and-half and,stir and you will see you will start to,have the most beautiful looking stew to,serve ladle your stew out in some bowls,and then garnish with a fresh sprig of,rosemary and you will see you will have,a warm comforting delicious stew that's,also a little bit creepy but also,festive and fun the perfect complement,to go with the witch's stew is a cheesy,cornbread muffin now normally I don't,like to make things from boxes I like to,make things from scratch as much as I,can but we have a really amazing dessert,ahead of us and I wanted to make sure,that you guys made the dessert so I,wanted to make it easy for you and not,have a lot of baking so that's why we're,gonna use a box mix of corn bread but,we're gonna doctor it up so that it,looks on me buy your favorite brand of,cornbread mix and follow the,instructions on the back for how to make,it then you're gonna add about 1/2 a cup,of Swiss cheese 3 tablespoons of chopped,chives and then some frozen corn,all these ingredients will just make it,feel a little bit more like homemade now,normally when I make cornbread muffins I,will use foil liners or paper liners in,a muffin tin but to me it just didn't,sound like something that a witch would,use so we want to make these look as old,and authentic as possible so for this,just take your tin and spray it with,some nonstick cooking spray and don't,use the muffin papers I really like to,use an ice cream scoop when scooping out,muffin batter that way you know that all,your muffins will be the same size on,the top you're gonna add about a,tablespoon of chopped green onions and,some more cheese when those muffins bake,they'll start to become cheesy and that,greenery will start to peek through and,it'll look like something the witch took,from her garden and cooked up for you,and to serve I like to use my black wire,cake stand,I don't even put a napkin in it or,anything because I like to see the,pattern because to me it looks like a,spooky spiderweb pile those muffins all,the way up to the top and watch your,guests dig in,to round out this meal we're gonna make,one of my favorite salads this time of,year a fall harvest salad I love it,because it's sweet and crunchy and a,little bit bitter all at the same time I,love to use a large wooden salad bowl,just because it speaks to nature and,kind of works with our enchanted forest,theme,you're gonna put about a teaspoon of,honey mustard in the bowl and to that,you're gonna add some apple cider,vinegar just whisk that up until,combined and then slowly add some,grapeseed oil season with salt and,pepper and that's it you're gonna,Gretna's done and then for the salad I,love to use frisée salad not only is it,delicious but because of its pointy,edges it looks almost sinister perfect,for this menu then you're gonna take,some radicchio ridicul you will find in,the produce aisle of your grocery store,near the lettuces it's a small Italian,vegetable that has a nice bite to it I,love it for this salad and for this menu,because that kind of purpley red mixed,with a white also looks a little bit,creepy just slice that into thin ribbons,and add that to your salad then you're,gonna take some Belgian auntie,slice that up into ribbons as well now,for the sweetness take some apples and,slice them into matchsticks it's really,easy to do if you've never done it you,just slice the Apple vertically flip,them around and then slice the other way,and you'll end up with some matchsticks,then I also love to add some pomegranate,seeds just because they're red and a,little bit spooky to me they always look,like little bug eyes so I think it's,great for this menu and then for some,added crunch about a half a cup of whole,pecans so that's a I make the fall,harvest salad it's delicious and crunchy,and sweet and also a little bit spooky,too,I love this cake because it's crackled,and sunken and dark and sinister and,just looks like something a witch would,make,now I'll be honest there are three parts,to this cake none of it is hard but it,is a little time-consuming so make sure,that you do most of this work the day,before it's definitely worth doing,because the results are so impressive,and it's such a fun dessert for,Halloween so I definitely want to make,sure you guys have time to do it to make,the cake you want to start with a,springform pan much like you would if,you were making a cheesecake you want to,line the bottom with a round of,parchment paper just so your cake does,not completely stick when you try to,take it out of the mold then in a,microwave-safe Bowl you want to mix,together your chocolate and your butter,and just melt that at 30-second,increments you don't want to set it for,one minute and walk away because,chocolate can burn really quickly so I,always just like to do 30 seconds and,check it to make sure that it's melting,end up burning then in a sandy make sure,you want to beat together six egg yolks,and about half a cup of sugar what it'll,do is actually triple in volume so,you'll see you'll end up with a big,fluffy mass of egg yolks then you want,to add your melted chocolate and about a,teaspoon of vanilla stir that until it's,combined and then transfer it to a large,mixing bowl then clean out the standing,mixer and then you're gonna beat your,egg whites I like to add cream of tartar,to my egg whites just because it helps,them beat up really quickly and get,those soft peaks once you get to that,stage then you're gonna slowly add the,sugar you want to go slow because you,don't want it to flip your egg whites I,also like to use sometimes what they,call Baker's sugar or superfine sugar,you can get it in the grocery store,right next to the regular sugar and what,it is is just a finer sugar which is,softer for a recipe like this where you,don't want to deflate your cake once,that's done take about half a cup of,those egg whites and combined it with,your chocolate mixture you just want to,kind of lighten that chocolate mixture,and get it ready for the rest of the egg,whites then take the rest of the whites,and fold them in slowly being sure that,you don't deflate the batter then,transfer the batter to the pan and pop,in the oven for about 40 minutes,when the cake is done it'll get too cool,and start to crack and kind of sink in,on itself that's what you want that's,the look you're going for so don't be,concerned if that happens you should be,psyched so I love this whipped cream,recipe because it's not exactly a dark,chocolate and it's not white whipped,cream either,it's somewhere in between which creates,that sort of eerie ghostly kind of,chocolate which is perfect for this cake,it is dandy mixer you're going to add,two cups of heavy cream a quarter cup of,unsweetened cocoa you want to actually,use the Baker's cocoa not the cocoa you,would make like hot chocolate with then,two tablespoons of powdered sugar and,some another whip that all up just until,soft peaks form and then you're done now,for the meringue mushrooms this is what,you're gonna use to decorate the bottom,of the cake I love them because they're,eerie and spooky but they're also really,delicious so here's how you do it it's a,lot simpler than you may think,you're gonna whip together some egg,whites some salt some cream of tartar,and vanilla beat that all up just until,stiff peaks form at that point you're,gonna slowly add your sugar stir it till,it's combined and that's it you're done,you're gonna take that mixture and,transfer it into a pastry bag fitted,with a tip that's about a half inch,round you don't want to have any,decorative edges for this it should just,be the simple half-inch tip that's,completely wrapped then on two sheet,pans lined with parchment paper you're,gonna start to pipe out your little,mushroom mounds about the size of a,quarter but what I like to do is vary it,so mushrooms in nature don't grow all,perfectly the same size so sometimes,I'll make some bigger rounds mixed with,some smaller rounds and that's just,gonna make your mushrooms look all the,more authentic and then you want to make,your stems so just make sure you pipe,out about a one-inch line for your stems,because this meringue is really sticky,you'll see when you start to pipe it you,may end up with these little Peaks,you don't really want those cuz it'll,dry exactly like that so take a spoon,dipped in water and just go around and,flatten out all the little peaks that,may have developed then you want to top,it off with some cocoa powder a little,dab will do ya,then you're gonna bake at a very low,temperature 225 degrees for one hour and,what it's doing it's not necessarily,cooking it as much as it is drying them,out so right now that batter is really,sticky you want to get to a point where,it's actually hard that you can carve,them to it after the brains have been in,the oven for about an hour you want to,melt about a half a cup of chocolate,chips you're basically gonna use that,melted chocolate like a kind of glue,take one of the mushroom caps and carve,a little hole in the bottom of it and,then smear it with chocolate being sure,that you're putting some of that,chocolate in that hole then you're gonna,take one of your stems and fit it in and,you'll see you have the cutest little,mushroom so it's kind of taking about an,hour or two for those mushrooms to dry,and kind of set up so you want to just,leave them on a sheet pan just until,they kind of adhere to each other now,for the grand finale assembling the cake,so you want to take your sunken cake and,put it on a cake stand then you're gonna,take the URI chocolate whipped cream and,pile it high in the center then what I,like to do is dust a little bit more,cocoa powder and then some chocolate,shavings then you're gonna take your,meringue mushrooms and put them all,along the bottom of that cake just until,it feels like the bottom of a forest so,there you have it my wickedly good,chocolate fallen cake it's spooky and,delicious and really the perfect end to,this Halloween dinner,so if you'd like to make this menu,here's your game plan the day before the,party make the chocolate cake cover it,with foil and keep covered at room,temperature then make the chocolate,whipped cream and put it in an airtight,container and pop in the fridge you can,make your meringue mushrooms just allow,them to completely dry out before,putting them in an airtight container,make the witch's stew and place in a,container and pop in the fridge the day,of the party make the corn muffins keep,them covered and in their tins at room,temperature that way you can reheat them,easily when it's time to eat make the,vinaigrette in a bowl that you plan to,serve your salad in keep it covered at,room temperature carve out the pumpkin,for the punch bowl keep the lid on top,and pop in the fridge a half hour before,guests arrive make your appetizers and,pumpkin punch and you're good to go,if you like the theme of this party,here's how to get the look concentrate,on colors that are black brown and,eggplant to the,afterlife by ribbon for napkin rings I,like to use black velvet and lace the,combination together makes it look,creepy like Halloween but also dainty,like an elderly which might use I also,like to use a collection of bottles,different sizes and colors and fill it,with shampoo or some other solution that,makes it look like a potion and if you,really want to take this theme all the,way your
