2019 Trunk or Treat: Car Decorating Ideas (for Church)
hi this is Tony from ministry two,children comm and I wanted to take a,quick walkthrough video with you guys,looking at some ideas for trunk-or-treat,because I know there's lots of churches,coming up gonna do trunk-or-treat and I,just wanted to help you find some good,decorating ideas so a couple places I,would start with this as I would start,with a Bing Bing that's the Microsoft,search engine or even DuckDuckGo you,know just kind of tired of Google Images,and just wanted to get some different,ideas but you know if you look here,you're gonna find lots of great ideas,right off the bat if you just search,trunk-or-treat decorating ideas and I'm,gonna walk you through some I've already,looked through some of this and I've,found some that I think are pretty cool,and I want to give you a hint as to what,those are but there's there's where I,started my search well I ended up on,this blog happy money-saver it's a it's,this lady here and she blogs about,different you know mom stuff saving,money around the house but she put,together this post of trunk-or-treat,ideas and I think she did a really good,job picking out the best ones so here's,the skeleton truck here's the the big,eyed monster how I read his name but you,know from Disney's Pixar,oh yeah Mike gingerbread house there's,an idea simple hey and scarecrow,you've got the trunk zoo or with a,little bit of imagination this could be,your Noah's Ark you've got a camping out,it's pretty easy,a little fire here this is a car that's,just turned into a giant mouth with,candy bags yellow brick road from Wizard,of Oz this is a giant green frog and it,looks like he's made out of tarps pretty,much now if you're a VBS decorator you,you can pull this stuff off but just,some black cat okay I Spy this one this,one I was really thought was,because it's like a game you know where,the kids get to play a little game to UM,just wrap that thing up in a blanket and,grease all right and oh yes Teenage,Mutant Ninja Turtle it just looks like a,couple blankets here and you're done,she actually had another blog post on,this too and I like the other of some of,these ideas pirate theme in the back of,your SUV here's a jail now this could be,a biblical theme you just put like,Joseph or something,Kars this one a little creepy for me I,think I would stay away from that trunk,I would not let my kids go near it and,what is it's a Wizard of Oz of course,Star Wars big jaws kind of thing,probably a little sharp teeth there but,not hard to take the same idea and make,it Jonah um here's some more I found and,this is more of a church website here,and she just blogged a few years back at,the different times they did,trunk-or-treat her and her family what's,her name shout out to Julie cowboy and,Indian looks fun looks fun sports theme,on the Lord's team one year they did,this looks like Jesus is our superhero,superheroes are always cool there you go,thanks Julie of course if you're on,Pinterest you know Pinterest is just,flooded with these ideas and if you can,manage to click through them all you're,gonna find some really cool stuff,Pinterest is just frustrating to me,lately because you know you click on,things and it's one you log in or half,the time you get there and it's not so,great but I'm gonna link to this page,trunk-or-treat Bible theme because she's,got a lot of great ideas here,this is Shelley Ann Thank You Shelley,Anne and here was a cute one oh yeah,this is why I thought would be great for,Noah's Ark because you,this I think I blew it up here oh it's,on this they all come from the same page,so I'll zoom in here this is the coolest,this this car made into the great fish,that swallowed Jonah whose blog are we,looking at Kim Thank You Kim a link to,that to Pharaoh's pyramid Oh Finding,Nemo,here you go Daniel in the lion's den and,this is uh like a farmer theme I'm sure,there's a name for that I don't know,here's another one I liked a lot store,up your treasures in heaven and I zoomed,in on this one I think I think if I was,doing one this year I would do something,like this because it's pretty simple,and it's pretty biblical and yeah I,really like that one and here's some,more biblical themes from simply mama,you got of course you've got Noah and,the Ark and you can just put all kinds,of stuffed animals in there there's the,car guy again Sarah Palin there she is,she's still around,I had a veggie tale one here all right,let's see what else I found there was,close up of car guy close-up of Noah's,Ark yeah here's the next one I really,caught my attention the holy armor shop,and I got a close-up of this one too and,you know an armor of God theme a lot,armor of God is just a great ongoing,object lesson straight from the Bible,about how kids can be spiritually,prepared for life and I think that's a,that's a cool concept right there,trunk-or-treat some different Bible,ideas here Oh another another version of,the armor shop or maybe a different,angle God's armor made for you all right,here's a another for Daniel in the,lion's den that kid he's such a good,sport but you know that would probably,get old after a few minutes I'm not sure,he's gonna make it the whole night in,there and oh here's another one,Jesus fed the multitudes that was a good,one I thought and it was from this,Christian Life Center website let's zoom,in here they just uh this is quite a,quite a bit old now but they've got,these different ideas hey and if you're,watching this video leave me a comment,below let me know you know which of,these ideas you like gonna have candy even if,they're just from school even if you,don't go marching around lots of fun,ideas you can do Bible verses you can,teach kids to memorize it's a good time,of year I always would teach about fear,and like overcoming fear or do not be,afraid preschool lessons these are all,on the website you just on our website,if you just search for Halloween on the,homepage Halloween and you'll find all,that one thing I want to broach all your,attention to is our do not fear coloring,pages these are used,you know churches use these every year,there's they've been in thousands of,trunk-or-treat so I'm pretty sure but,these are free to print off you just,grab them on the website click it boom,send it to your printer and you're ready,so this is Tony from ministry two,children big gorilla over here,man,okay,yeah there's quite a few people here,this is the spectator lot of course that,i'm in,and then the other lots down there,starting wally out in the stroller he's,got his pumpkin though nice got a good,looking mustang here start off nice,orange one for the season,yeah that's nice,and i remember seeing this one up in big,lake,i think this is the car i saw in the st,paul so i was saying paul i got it,dressed up even more,this is the car it's got all the mirrors,and stuff in it,oh it's just,wow look at this car,yikes,hey,i got gizmo in there even,with some custom work on the interior,hello again guys,thanks for letting me film you guys i,appreciate,it super cool car,yeah look at this over here too,this being a 64 impala,got a cheech and chunk thing going on in,here,that's awesome,i'm just a love machine,and i don't work for nobody but to,do i'm just a love machine,i love those movies,his name is ralph,anybody else a cheech and chung fan out,there,but dave's not here skit dave's not here,man,there's skeletons in there,should we get some candy from these guys,love mcgee,love it,got some newer cars here too today,i got this guy here,that's awesome,nice cobra here,shelby 50th anniversary,they got the snake in there,oh my god 1872 chevelle,a few uh cobwebs on her,i had a dust right out though looking,pretty good,this kind of brown kind of root beer,tone on her,sparkling in the sun,love it oh there goes a rat rod oh nice,let's go check out that rat rod here in,a bit,a nice old plymouth here,for sale,appears that he's got a shelby cobra,here somewhere too,and he's got for sale maybe not here but,selling this one for 50 the cobra for 60,or 100 for both of them,make you a double offer,this looks like it's in pretty good,shape too,not positive on the year,go up on the hill here to get this chevy,malibu,383,good looking malibu here,what do we got here bud should we get,some nummies,oh let's get you twix,take a twix from that one how's that,it's a nice pontiac trans am here,let's take a look inside here,nice,good looking charger here,1968 charger,i got quite the,trunk of this old charger here,all kinds of spells and stuff,i love the matte black on this charger,though,looks so,good all right let's keep cruising,see what else we can dig up here,a witchy woman,is a 1970 el camino,hmm,1971,chevelle,beautiful 67,ford mustang,absolutely gorgeous,it's color,289,get the big head rest,in these things,love the wood steering wheel,proper steering wheel man,i'm not sure the year this mercury,cougar a newer 70s something,it's pretty cool to see though,hard to see in there with the glare,this one looks pretty awesome,the 1990 camaro,it's crazy to think,crazy to think that a 1990 is now,considered a classic,a little 69 triumph,the door open here take a look inside,that's cool,1955 chevy,this one's in great shape,so nice,here's that rat rod that came in,this rat rod showing up putting his,candy out,big old tires on here,looks like we got a good-looking 56 here,i love this year,i'm sorry,sorry i forgot my candy too oh that's,fine,56 ford,first year they had the,wraparound windows,which you gotta love,i think this truck right here is one of,my favorite years for those types of,trucks,56 ford,cruises for a cause,i think you get to sign the car if,you're a kid,it's a 53 chrysler,new yorker,for the kids,kind,yeah there you go,chrysler firepower,see inside lots of fun stuff in here,miles of smiles,brought a jeep here too,i love this color too,it's kind of a forest green,it goes good with tan,this is the way,mandalorian,themed,good grief it's terrifying,see that driving down the road,got an actual like,actual coffin in here,chucky,yikes,cadillac,signature,yes,man these old hurst cadillacs from nice,cars though look at this thing,shines right up,oh,it's like a porsche ate this poor guy,it's a 68 ford mustang,you've got some paint on there,oh another old ford let's check out this,whole ford here see what they got oh,that's a nice looking ford,hang on buddy,look at this,that's a good looking ford truck,good night,1948 ford,yeah,watching wally here at the same time,trying to film oh that is a nice truck,that's so nice,that go ghost face sitting shotgun here,in this,old bronco,this is pretty cool,i like the racing stripe it's kind of,dropped a little bit,sharpie,this little lady's uh,thong is showing here,look out,got a wizard of oz themed you're going,on over here,there's a scarecrow,1966,morris minor,a little woody here too,i don't know,that is so cool,yeah,so cool,this is just such a cool vehicle,i love it,just talking to the owner there shooting,the breeze with him for a while,he's got a few different,british cars and,this is awesome,just don't seem like that,morse miners are pretty rare anyway and,then,to see one you know with the wood like,that it's pretty cool,pretty cool i believe they only made,morse miners from sometime in the 50s,late 50s to 74.,i don't know better better check my,information there i could be wrong,so it's cool to see these,morris miners over the over the summer,there's quite a few of them out there,the car shows i've seen but,but they are pretty rare oh you're fine,no worries,i gotta film this little honda crx,it's the car i learned to drive on,my brother had one of these and he let,me he let me drive it,and i went to live with him for a summer,in detroit,yep there she is i learned to drive,stick in this car right here well not,this one of course but,it was red,it was fun car to drive too,i haven't seen one in a while,oh this guy,he's out here scaring people with a,chainsaw,kid's having nothing to do with it,what do they got in the back of this one,here look at like a couch,like a little wedding couch or something,back here a little princess set up,got a nice special deluxe here,plymouth,that's what i'm talking about the more,stuff on the dash the better,i love it,1946 plymouth special deluxe,hmm,good looking chevelle,396.,good looking 57 here,um,oh,um,i told,a,1953 buick 8.,man that's nice oh is that ford again i,love you ford,it's a good looking i've seen that one,too,old bronco,made it back to see ken's 65 cobra again,saw this a few quite a few shows over,the summer thanks,oh,it appears that little hands have been,on,the 65 shelby cobra i see,i see a handprint,probably looked like a piece of candy to,that kid,and i don't blame him,nice car,and this thing is so nice,so,somebody driving it here,so,there goes the witch,it's fun to see people's costumes too,jason's taking,taking over this whole,not old a newer mustang here,just a fun show to go to,any cars are welcome,a lot of the cars dressed up for,halloween,loads of kids having a good time,out here just collecting candy running,around,more mustangs,patiently waiting for the big win,i honestly,i want,the vikings to win a super bowl,i'm not even from minnesota,i'm a denver bronco fan,but i would like them to win a super,bowl because they never have,so maybe this year maybe maybe,i don't think so,but maybe next year,pikachu is that who this guy is,pikachu over here,bubba,i think pikachu found his car,going for the yellow ford over there the,56th ford,let's go take a look at this corvette,over here bye,looking nice,back down into the show,nice chevelle here 396.,i love the fur seats,look at this thing,it's awesome,huh,the adam's family here,what a fun,look at that,he's got a pretty cool wrap on it,venom wrap that's pretty awesome,you're looking for galaxy here,1863 and a half for galaxy,this guy driving a newer dodge,challenger,looks like he couldn't handle it,dodge challenger hellcat wide body,it's a pretty cool car,marilyn monroe up there walking by,alright well that's all the time you and,wally have for today we are tired and uh,actually kind of hot at,mid-october here so this is this was a,fun event to come to i've never been to,this one um but yeah fun wally had a,great time grabbing some candy i had a,great time looking at the cars so thanks,for putting this one on guys so another,car show event another car show season,man,is over just about i'm probably pretty,much over at this point a little crunk,in your trunk halloween's taking a,different turn this year coming up,creative and safe things to do and take,part in this challenge look at this one,friends we're gonna walk through how to,trunk a tree,we've got diy expert vinnie ryan look,i'm sitting on a trunk,we've got a treasure chest and it's,running back inside,hi how are you keeping things so,friendly here it's peter pandemic denise,wilde what are you,i am a spiderweb right spiderweb oh cool,and i see it it's a fun cave that i put,on you know you look great,i have my little angel we're ready for,uh you know,ready for some safe halloweening so this,is an idea that you can do at home,really easy to do if you want to you,know of course we're all trying to stay,safe,this way you can do it with a small,gathering of people always keep your,distance,wear a mask of course but the idea is to,turn your trunk,into a fun trunk or treating space,so what i've done on both sides on this,one i have a nice,junior friendly version it's a little,mummy action maybe a ghost super cute,and you know kids can come up they can,come and grab one little treat,this was really easy to do i just took a,black,plastic tablecloth from the dollar store,this is some,white crate paper also from the dollar,store big googly eyes from my local,craft store,and just lots and lots of tape to hold,it on i used duct tape from the back,so um you know and then i just cut a,little hole out the bottom,so really easy to do and you know fun,makes the kids go oh what's happening,over there and they want to come in and,pop their hand inside a great way to use,up that space and add to the whole magic,of mystique okay but now we've got a,scarier looking exactly,exactly so now this one's a little bit,more for the older kids who aren't,afraid of you know scary,monsters yeah my daughter six-year-old,wants you to know she's not afraid,so she's going to show you we're using,this little uh picker grabber thing to,grab,our little treats safely so we,pre-packaged those,into zippered pouches and then you can,reach in,grab them distribute them to any kids,who happen to be walking by,if you're in the neighborhood where,you're allowed to do that safely,so i just used again more just halloween,decorations,and decorated the inside of the trunk,pop it open,you can meet up with friends maybe at an,open parking lot,maybe do this on your driveway and,invite people over i also did some,really fun,chalk drawing on the on the driveway so,you know just really get into it have a,great welcoming space for kids,and very easy to do and then we're all,safe,denise great ideas you know why your,little one's not afraid good always wins,over evil and she's an angel by the way,that cat,needs a couple of those treats it's,looking a little skinny let's talk about,these ideas,right now yeah where do we find more,uh i'm my website's denisewild.com on,social i'm at me denise wilde let's all,say it,trick or trunk,trick-or-treat,all right we'll be back with more bt in,neverland with peter pandemic

hi guys,today i will be showing you how to make,a ghost,from dollar tree items everything i have,here is from dollar tree,my daughter is participating on a trunks,or treat uh,for for uh halloween,and i'm gonna decorate her car her trunk,and i'm gonna make a ghost so today i'm,gonna show you how,i make a gold how to make a ghost,for your car,you will need,two cardboards,these are the foam foam boards from,dollar tree they're a dollar each you,will need a regular cardboard,these are the regular ones that you use,for school they're a dollar and i got,this extra just to decorate the car is,the web you don't need this but i'm,gonna put it on the car,and you will need shower curtains white,shower curtains,and you will need uh,the giant uh,jumbo plastic clothing pins,these are from dollar tree,and i will be you oh i will be using,these,to clamp,the poster board to the car,or if you don't if you can find these at,dollar tree you can find them at um,a hardware store like home depot,lows,or if you have tape you can tape it you,can use any kind of tape,we will need a stapler,and scissors,a ruler,and a pencil if you don't have a pencil,you can use a pen but i'm gonna use a,pencil okay i'm gonna do it really fast,this is something really simple that we,can do,and we're gonna start,by okay first of all we're gonna we're,gonna mark,we're gonna mark,the cardboard with uh,this is five let me see,this is five inches right here just make,a mark five inches,just with your pencil,and then five,it's gonna be hold on hold on it's gonna,be,seven inches up and five inches across,so you're gonna go five inches up,and,seven inches up and five across just,like this,right here see,okay,you see this i made the marks right here,so what we're gonna do,okay these are the marks that i made,right here you can see,in the other one they're just two lines,it can be any size but i made them five,inches,long,so what we're gonna do,is we're gonna get our pencil,we're gonna get our pencil,and from here we're gonna do the the,head of the ghost,make,like a circle like a half circle type,forming the ghost,head,right there see,there we go,i'm going to trace it with a black,marker so you guys can see it but please,use a pencil if you need to do any,corrections,cut out,the figure,you can use scissors or you can use a,blade,here i will draw a rectangle and then at,the edge make like a circle half circle,making a form of an arm,you can do it as long as you like i,chose this size,next i will staple the arms to the side,of the head,as you can see,and then i will,put some tape on it to secure it,next i will get the cardboard and fold,it in four i will cut it,cut four squares,i will then fold one and trace out the,eyes just keep going in circles till you,get the size of the eyes that you like,you can make any shape eyes i chose to,do circles,then you will secure the eyes with tape,and then you will place it on the face,as you like,next get another piece of cardboard,then you can cut out the mouth you can,do any shape you want,how big you want it this is a shape that,i chose and next,once you have your mouth ready you can,tape it and place it on,the face however you like,okay guys this is it this is the ghost,you can make any mouth any amount any,shape you want for the mouth or for the,eyes,how long you however long you want the,arms okay this is what we're doing next,i'm going to get the shower curtains,from dollar tree,and,we are going to put it right here,like this,hang it on the goals,okay guys,we're gonna get this,you're gonna put it,on the back,okay,this one,and fold it to the back,see,and now we do the other side,see,leave it folded,there you have it,there it is it has the,opening has the opening,you can put it in the car,see,it has the opening,so you can see i'm gonna take it outside,so you guys can see how i'm gonna put it,on my car,the large uh pin clothes didn't work so,i made a little hole right here on the,arm,actually it's on the face,so all you do is you get a piece of rope,it could be any type of rope,how you call it um,shoelace,yarn anything you have around the house,that way you don't have to spend money,and just make a little tiny hole with,the scissors,and,uh you can pull the string,and then just make a knot on it,and that's it that's all you do hold on,right there see i got the other one,this one i got this one already,okay,okay,this is how i did it,all you do is you put the tape,with a rope,this is how it's gonna look all you do,is you put tape,just regular tape see,you can open it and put all your candies,in here this is the tape i used,i hope you guys like this great idea,for trunks or treat uh it's a great,decoration for your car,if you do like it please like my video,subscribe to my channel,and i will see you soon,thank you,and share the video thank you

my school conducted,halloween drunk or tweet two years ago,we participated in the twinkle tweet for,the first time,and guess what i'm wearing are you,wondering what strunker to eat,well let me explain,we meet a group,of people in the parking lot,and go trick-or-treating,to each vehicle,we load the car with lot of candies,it's more fun than,it sounds trust me,sometimes kids come in the,hundreds,fully dressed in halloween costumes and,holding,out bags or plastic pumpkins for tweets,it is less walking for little kids,a safer environment for halloween,and fun,for everyone,the trick is finding something you're,passionate about,with a little imagination,and a lot of creativity,we managed to decorate our car trunk,you can be really creative in decorating,the car drunk,we did this for the first time,and felt very happy about it,all of our friends,appreciated,us,for our decoration,hope you enjoyed watching this video,click on tweet
